Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeat (CRISPR), or Crispr for short, is an RNA-guided, gene-editing platform that can literally, at a basic DNA and germ-line level, alter humanity and "speed up the evolutionary process." Researchers the world over are already using Crispr technologies to tinker with the genomes of humans, animals, plants, germs and bacteria, something expressly forbidden by implication in Genesis 1:24, "And God said, 'Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.' And it was so." This cross-species tinkering and altering has been going on for years in labs all over the world. What makes Crispr different is that this technology is now going mainstream. Crispr, through gene-editing live subjects, can target and modify DNA with groundbreaking accuracy. This makes it both the newest darling and the newest villain of genetics research. A relatively recent invention, it was initially developed in 2012 by scientists at the University of California, Berkley. It aims to repair or eliminate mutations that cause disease; and there are significant and legitimate valuable potential outcomes attached to this new gene-editing technology. Crispr has the potential to eradicate specific diseases like HIV, Huntington's, Alzheimer's, hemophilia, sickle-cell anemia and several forms of cancer. It could also be used to prevent children from being born mentally impaired. Crispr could also be used for more nefarious reasons: to create designer babies, prevent premature aging, or to stimulate muscle growth and so create super-humans. There is a very real danger, increasing with each passing month, that technologies like Crispr will be exploited for non-therapeutic modifications by unregulated scientists working in any number of off-the-grid, beyond oversight labs currently operating around the world. The US military is exceptionally interested in Crispr. They want to create the first super-soldier. They want to engineer a man who can run further and faster, carry more weight, make better decisions under pressure, stay awake longer, endure more physical pain and hardship and act without a sense of guilt or moral consideration to hinder them. They want a soldier who is unaffected by the emotional baggage of combat, someone who would kill on command, without question or any remorse. A near perfect super-soldier. Though this type of technology has been widely used in professional laboratories for a number of years, Crispr is now taking gene editing to the general public. This is what makes Crispr so dangerous, revolutionary and increasingly prophetically significant. As a private citizen, with no scientific knowledge or training, you can now buy your own Crispr gene-editing kit for about $400. You can get Crispr over the internet. This means that, with almost no training or expertise, you can potentially edit your own DNA and genes in the privacy of your own home, regardless of the consequences. And there are consequences, of that there can be absolutely no doubt. What makes Crispr technology so exceptionally dangerous is that, with it, it becomes possible to alter DNA at a germline level which is at the basic level of semen or ovum. This is terrifying because altering DNA at the germline level (semen/ovum) means that any genetic change or mutation made to a hosts' DNA in the privacy of their own home would be passed on through semen/ovum to all future offspring for as long as that individual line lasts into the future. An individual could potentially change, even in their own homes, what it actually means to be human, both for themselves and all their future progeny. Altering the human germline will result in heritable human genetic modifications, and this poses a huge risk to the future of humanity. These changes are permanent and cannot be reversed. The effects on all future offspring, for all time, would be permanent and could not be reversed. Not ever. This is such a significant risk that, even within the experimental scientific community, attempts to push the envelope of acceptability further and further are frowned upon. Even here, in a community known for regularly "pushing the envelope," there is widespread and grave concern over the ethical and safety implications attached to Crispr technologies. But Crispr is out of the box now, and we cannot put it back in even if we wanted too. It will increasingly change the human race, subtly at first, but we are currently only at the beginning of this process. Many scientists attached to this field even believe that sooner rather than later it is going to become necessary to redefine the very boundaries of what it actually means to be a "human being," so significant will its impact be. In 2018, you can't even buy a secondhand beat-up car for $400 dollars, but you can change your own DNA and those of all your future offspring, forever. Jesus Christ revealed that the time of his return would be as the days of Noah: "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man" (Matthew 24:37). Jesus emphasized a direct connection between the days of Noah and the time of his return to this earth. During the days of Noah, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, right up until the very moment the flood waters came and washed them away. The people of Noah's day were totally unaware of the judgment hanging directly over their heads. Much like our world today, they were totally oblivious. Those days were also characterized by two other things: extreme violence and extreme rebellion. One was a symptom of the other. It was the extreme forms of rebellion that facilitated the extreme rise of violence on the earth. Man's thoughts and imaginations had become continually evil. This rebellion detailed in Genesis 6 and thereafter is one of the most pivotal events in all human history. The scale of the rebellion is staggering in its implications; and without a good understanding of it, it is impossible for any Christian to fully grasp later events in the Old Testament. This chapter is that important. It is foundational to the rest of the Old Testament. In Genesis 6 we are told how "...the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose" (Genesis 6:2). In all scriptural interpretations that remain faithful to the biblical text of Genesis 6 and elsewhere in the Bible, this word "sons of God" is a translation of the Hebrew "bənê ĕlōhîm," which literally means "sons of Elohiym" or "sons of God." This phrase is used only four times in the whole of scripture: here in Genesis 6:2, Job 1:6, Job 38:7 and Psalms 29:1. In every scriptural example, this term clearly refers to heavenly beings or angelic beings. This term is used in each case as an example of a direct creation of God, a literal "son of God." Genesis 6 describes a time when some of the most powerful "bənê ĕlōhîm" descended from Heaven, and seeing human women, subsequently lusted after them. Ultimately, they began to take whichever they wanted for themselves as wives, a direct contravention of God's ordained boundaries for his own creation: "And God said, 'Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.' And it was so." (Genesis 1:24). God ordained plants, animals and all things to reproduce after their own kind, with no interbreeding between species. Jude in the New Testament talks of this time when he explains, "And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling-these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day" (Jude 1:6). A literal reading of the Bible can only lead one to conclude that, in the distant past, powerful angels descended from Heaven, abandoned their proper positions and produced hybrid offspring with human women. The result of this conduct was outrage from God. The angels involved were consigned by God to the Abyss (1 Pet. 3:19-20; 2 Pet. 2:4-10; Jude 1:5-7). That terrifying prospect seems to have allayed all such behavior since (at least as far as the biblical record is concerned: Lk. 8:31; cf. Jude 6; Rev. 9:1-11, 9:13-16, 20:1-3, 20:7). These unholy and entirely unsanctioned unions resulted in the Nephilim, angel-human hybrids. These children were not fully human, and they grew enormous in stature and intellects; they were an utter abhorrence to God. "The Nephilim were on the earth in those days-and also afterward-when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown..." (Genesis 6:4). Today, scientists might interpret this incursion by the bənê ĕlōhîm as an attempt to alter the human DNA gene pool. They were successful because the DNA of man was changed by these unions. When one also examines in depth the reasons for Noah's deliverance, it becomes clear that he was selected in order to preserve mankind. Noah is described as being "perfect in his generations." "These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God" (Genesis 6:9). Noah wasn't delivered simply because he was a good man, a "preacher of righteousness." The word "generations" referenced here is more accurately translated as "descendants." In context, this phrase, "perfect in his generations," literally means he was "without blemish" in his generation, and "without blemish" amongst his descendants. Noah and his family likely represented the only true and completely uncorrupted human seed left on the earth at that time, and God used the flood to save mankind. Everything was genetically corrupted by this angelic incursion. Plants, animals and human beings had become tainted and corrupted by it. Except for Noah and his family. This very day, mankind is embarking on the same path of rebellion that the bənê ĕlōhîm walked all those years ago. Crispr is a highly significant technological development, and it clearly signposts where we are on God's prophetic calendar. God judged and destroyed the whole world for this type of aberrant behavior once before; and ominously, the Bible tells us over and over that God does not change. God is consistent and faithful to His word, so judgment is coming. He is also longsuffering and patient, but that patience will one day come to an end. Like Noah who was delivered by the Ark, which is a clear prophetic picture of Jesus Christ, we also who cling to the name of Jesus will soon be delivered. When that day comes, it will be sudden, miraculous, and it will be in the blink of an eye! "Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by" (Isaiah 26:20). [email protected] UN Approves Terror, Torpedoes Peace - by Bassam Tawil - https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/13400/un-approves-terror The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas could not have wished for a better birthday gift than the one with which the United Nations General Assembly presented it last week. In a few days, Hamas will hold a massive celebration in the Gaza Strip to mark its 31st anniversary. Hamas leaders are expected to pass on to their supporters the nice gift the terrorist group has just received from the UN -- a gift that enables them to continue launching rockets at Israel and planning how to kill as many Jews as possible on the way to eliminating Israel and replacing it with an Islamic state. Although a majority of UN member states voted in favor of a US-sponsored resolution condemning the activities of Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups, it failed to be adopted at the UN General Assembly. The resolution condemned Hamas for "repeatedly firing rockets into Israel and for inciting violence, thereby putting civilians at risk", and for its use of resources to construct military infrastructure "including tunnels to infiltrate Israel and equipment to launch rockets into civilian areas." Although 87 members voted in favor, and 58 against with 32 abstentions, the resolution failed, because prior to the vote, the General Assembly passed a different resolution requiring a two-thirds majority for endorsing the US-sponsored resolution. The failure of the UN to endorse the US resolution is not only one of the best gifts Hamas has received for its anniversary; what is worrying is that Hamas and the other Palestinian terrorist groups have interpreted the failure of the US resolution as an internationally sanctioned license to continue killing Jews. There is no need to ask experts on Palestinian affairs about this perception, or conduct a study or a poll. All one has to do is listen to what Hamas and Islamic Jihad have been saying in Arabic. As leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad have commented, the failure of the US resolution is a "major victory for the Palestinian resistance." What happened at the UN General Assembly last week is a "big boost for the Palestinian resistance," commented senior Hamas official Khalil al-Haya. Besides the joy the terrorist groups have been expressing in recent days, they are now thanking and praising the countries that opposed the US resolution in particular, and the UN in general, for giving Palestinians a green light to continue the fight against Israel. In other words, Hamas is saying thank you to those countries that do not consider suicide bombings and rocket attacks as acts of terrorism. The "resistance," for those who are still unfamiliar with Palestinian terminology, refers to various forms of terrorist attacks targeting Israeli soldiers and civilians. "Resistance" includes, among other things, suicide bombings, shootings, stabbings, car-ramming attacks, rocket and missile attacks, stone-throwing and hurling firebombs at Jewish families driving on the highways of the West Bank. By failing to endorse the US-sponsored resolution, the UN has sent the following message to Palestinian terrorists: "You have nothing to worry about because the UN will not label you terrorists if you attack or kill Jews." This message has been fully absorbed by the terrorists in the Gaza Strip, who are now celebrating their "victory" at the UN. Hours after the UN failed to endorse the resolution, the Hamas leadership announced that the "armed struggle" against Israel will continue. The announcement came as Palestinians were also marking the 31st anniversary of the eruption of the First Intifada, also known as the "Rock Intifada." "The resistance is a legitimate right guaranteed by all international laws and conventions," Hamas said. "This includes the armed struggle, which constitutes a strategic choice for safeguarding the Palestinian cause and restoring Palestinian rights." The timing of the Hamas announcement was not coincidental; it came hours after the terrorist group heard and watched how the UN had refused to pass a resolution condemning Palestinian terrorists for firing rockets at Israel. It is also no coincidence that Hamas chose to emphasize the term "armed struggle" in its statement. Like the word "resistance," "armed struggle" also refers to terrorist attacks to take over all the land "from the river to the sea" -- meaning from the Jordan River in the east to the Mediterranean Sea in the west; in short, all of Israel. What Hamas is telling the UN and the rest of the world is: "Now that you have refused to brand us terrorists, we have the right to launch all forms of terrorist attacks and kill as many Jews as possible." Hamas and Islamic Jihad leaders are, in fact, threatening not only to continue, but also to step up, their terrorist attacks on Israel. Besides Hamas and Islamic Jihad, other Palestinian factions have also interpreted what happened at the UN General Assembly last week as a green light to proceed with their genocidal schemes to kill Jews and annihilate Israel. The PLO's Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) have joined the chorus of Palestinian terrorist groups celebrating the downfall of the US resolution. They, too, see the failure of the US resolution as a license to continue launching terrorist attacks against Israel. Like the rest of the terrorist groups, PFLP and DFLP have perceived the failure of the resolution as legitimizing violence and terrorism. Prior to the vote, the Palestinian terrorists said they feared that if adopted, the US resolution would "criminalize" the Palestinian fight against Israel. Even Hamas's rivals in the supposedly moderate and secular Fatah faction expressed this fear. Fatah, too, was worried that the resolution would paint all Palestinian groups in one color, making it impossible to distinguish between Fatah and Hamas. Since Fatah has also been involved in anti-Israel terrorism, it feared that labelling Hamas a terrorist group for indiscriminately firing rockets at Israel would create a precedent, and that Fatah would be next to be added to the list of the international community's list of terror groups. When Hamas and its supporters celebrate, the few Palestinians who are described as moderates and pragmatists and who are opposed to violence and terrorism, will have to hide. Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Fatah have boasted that what happened at the UN was a "slap in the face of the US and Israel." In fact, what happened at the UN is a severe blow to the "moderates" among the Palestinians and to any chances of reaching a peaceful solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Now that the UN has legitimized Palestinian terrorism, no Palestinian leader will be able to return to the negotiating table with Israel. Thus, with this move, the UN has expertly torpedoed even the remotest possibility of peace talks. Thanks to the "peace-loving UN," December 2018 may well go down in history as the day the UN gave the green light to Palestinian terrorists to continue perpetrating violence on Israel and Jews. The blood of the next Jewish victim will be on the hands of the UN and those countries that worked hard to scuttle a simple and sane resolution: one that condemns terrorism. Here are some interesting things that have happened recently: First, many believe there will be a global economic collapse during the Tribulation Period. On Nov. 29, 2018, it was reported that the interest on America's national debt is 1.5 billion dollars a day; it is expected to keep increasing, and experts keep warning that this is unsustainable. Second, according to the Bible, Israel will come back into being and possess great wealth (silver & gold, cattle & goods) in the latter days and latter years; and Russia, Iran and others will seek to steal it (Ezek. 38:8, 13, 16). It has just been announced that Israel has signed an agreement with Italy, Greece and Cyprus to lay 1,242 miles of pipeline to pump up to 20 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Europe per year. This will improve Israel's economy and hurt the economies of Russia and Iran. Third, according to the Bible, no weapon formed against Israel will prosper. Starting at the end of March and continuing until early November, the terrorists in Gaza were launching kites and balloons with firebombs into Israel that burned thousands of acres of crops and trees. The ground was left covered with ashes. But now the rain has started to fall, the pastures are turning green, and the farmers are planting crops again. God is quickly restoring all that was destroyed. Fourth, on Nov. 29, 2018, a Jewish Rabbi named Mendel Kessin, a recognized expert on the end times, was interviewed on the radio. Some of the things this Jewish rabbi said are: "We are very close to the end;" "God seems to be rushing up the end;" "we are witnessing a process that will bring the Messiah;" the Messiah will arrive "within ten years, maybe sooner;" "When holiness is about to enter, then evil and corruption energize and try to stop the entry of righteousness;" there is "an incredible rise in the stature of Israel among the nations;" Israel's rise is the "beginning of the Messianic era;" Satan is trying to destroy Israel because "evil is threatened by its end, and the entry of good." As I understand what this Jewish prophecy expert said, the return and incredible growth of Israel plus the great opposition to Israel mean the end of the age is near. Messiah's return to deal with evil and establish good is a threat to Satan. Satan is ramping up the evil on earth because he hopes to destroy Israel and prevent the return of Israel's Messiah. When the rabbi talks about God rushing up the end to bring the Messiah and establish the Messianic era, he is talking about the event that Christians call the Second Coming and Millennium (not the Rapture), but the idea of this happening within ten years or less is intriguing. That is obviously his opinion, not something that the Bible says. But think about this: Israel is 70 years old and will be 80 years old in ten years. The prayer of Moses says, "The days of our years are threescore years and ten (70 years); and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years (80 years), yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away" (Psa. 90:10). Some prophecy teachers think a generation is 70-80 years and this present generation could be the terminal generation (Matt. 24:32-34). Fifth, the identity of the Antichrist won't be revealed before the Rapture, but my friend Sally Plemons sent me some information that I decided to pass on for whatever it is worth. It concerns a man named Emmanuel Macron and the fact that it has been 70 years since Israel became a nation. Immanuel is one of the names of Jesus (Isa. 7:14). It means "God with us." Macron's first name is Emmanuel. Also, according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a macron is a mark (and all prophecy teachers know about the Mark of the Beast). Jesus is the Saviour of the world. The Economist Magazine put a picture of Emmanuel Macron on the cover of its June 17, 2017, issue asking if he is the savior of Europe? Jesus walked on water. The Economist Magazine picture has Emmanuel Macron walking on water. The Antichrist will rise to power in Europe, and Emmanuel Macron is the president of a European nation (France). The Antichrist will head up a world government, and Emmanuel Macron is calling for a world government (France is currently having violent protests because he puts the wishes of the globalist elites above the wishes of the French citizens). The number of the Antichrist's name is 666, and Emmanuel Macron celebrated his election with a speech at the Louvre Museum which features a pyramid constructed with 666 panels of glass. The Tribulation Period will begin when the Antichrist confirms a covenant of peace in the Middle East, and Emmanuel Macron recently said if Pres. Trump doesn't release his peace plan for the Middle East in the next few weeks, he will present his own peace plan for the Middle East. The Antichrist will have an army to go forth conquering and to conquer, and Emmanuel Macron has called for the creation of a EU army. The Antichrist will head up 10 kings (10 toes or 10 horns; Dan. 7:23-24), and Emmanuel Macron is urging 10 nations to merge their armed forces. The Antichrist will claim to be the Christ, but he will show no regard for the god of his fathers (Dan. 11:37). Emmanuel Macron claims to be a Catholic, but he refuses to let religion influence morality or the laws of France. Pre-Trib prophecy believers are looking for the coming of the Christ to Rapture his Church, not the rise of the Antichrist. But many evangelical Christians don't believe in coincidences, and I am wondering if God is trying to tell us something, or what? That generation weathered the Great Depression, won World War II, then came home to rebuild America and the world. President Bush reflected that generation's old-world, gentleman's attitude combined with American optimism. He held an amazing array of titles and jobs, including President of the United States, Vice-President of the United States, Director of the CIA, Envoy to China, Chairman of the Republican National Committee, Ambassador to the United Nations, Congressman, and Naval Aviator. He flew 58 combat missions in World War II and received the Distinguished Flying Cross and three Air Medals. But in the late 1990s, he put it all into perspective for his grandson, Pierce Bush. He told him, "The titles that I still have are the ones that are most important: Father, Husband, Grandfather, and Friend." As I have observed the many activities and tributes commemorating the recent passing of President Bush, I've been impressed by the overriding theme of all who have memorialized him: He was a man who cared deeply for those he loved, and even for those he never met. He loved America enormously and wanted desperately to give her his best. And he did. But the greatest impact of his life was made on those around him. Their lives were forever changed and bettered because he unselfishly shared his with them. What a wonderful goal to have that said about each of us at the end of our lives. Goodbye, Mr. President. And thank you. November saw two major earthquakes in the world. One was felt, the other wasn't. A powerful 7.0 quake struck near Anchorage, Alaska, last week. In the three days following the earthquake, there were more than 1,800 aftershocks. Fortunately, it did not strike the city directly and it was centered more than 25 miles beneath the earth's surface. There was no loss of life, but the images of the damage are breathtaking. But another, far stranger earthquake also took place in November. It lasted more than 20 minutes and sent waves around the world. But it only registered on seismographic instruments. The strange quake erupted at the French island of Mayotte, which lies between Madagascar and Africa. National Geographic reported: "The waves buzzed across Africa, ringing sensors in Zambia, Kenya, and Ethiopia. They traversed vast oceans, humming across Chile, New Zealand, Canada, and even Hawaii nearly 11,000 miles away. These waves didn't just zip by; they rang for more than 20 minutes." Another odd thing about these waves was that they were all on the same frequency. Most earthquakes emit seismic waves all over the frequency spectrum. This was a one-note orchestra, and the single note was an unusually low one. Researchers are trying to discover more information about the cause of the quake, considering even a meteor strike or volcanic eruption on the ocean floor. Whatever the cause, it was another in an increasing string of unique earthquakes that have been striking the planet since 1948. In Luke 21:11, Jesus spoke of "great earthquakes in various places" in the time leading up to His return. The Greek word translated "great" here simply means "big." At first, this odd earthquake doesn't seem to qualify as "big." After all, no one felt it. But it registered on sensors across half the world. And for any earthquake, that is big! If you don't depend on the mainstream media for your news, then you know that more than 10,000 migrants are massed along the United States border with Mexico. They were brought there by the so-called "caravans" that the mainstream media told us, and Jim Acosta told President Trump, were no big deal. But to the citizens of Tijuana, Mexico, they are a very big deal. Their city has been invaded. Some of the caravaners have been violent. They have tried to rush the border. They have clashed with Mexican police and U.S. Border Patrol agents. They bring with them a huge array of potentially catastrophic diseases and medical conditions. Hundreds of them are malevolent, convicted criminals. Contrary to what the Leftist politicians and media will tell you, most Americans see illegal immigration as a problem. The argument is over just how big that problem is. Let me tell you something. In this era of global terrorism, massive illegal immigration creates an equally massive national security risk. It's difficult to stop a smart and determined terrorist once he or she has entered the country. A key part of our nation's anti-terrorism strategy centers on keeping terrorists out. That's a tough job even with controlled borders. But with meaningless borders, it becomes impossible. Not only are we fighting the open-borders advocates in academia and the Democrat Party, but now that idea is embodied in a new agreement reached by the United Nations. It's called "The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration." It is being formally adopted this week in ceremonies in Morocco. Though the agreement is non-binding on member states, it reflects the borderless future that now dominates the thinking of the world's most powerful and elite. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist or brain surgeon to see how a border-less, nation-less, sovereign-less world is a perfect set-up for the coming Antichrist. That's why Jesus said that when we begin to see these things happening -- with growing intensity and frequency -- then we should "look up and lift up [our] heads, because [our] redemption draws near." (Luke 21:28 NKJV) That moment of relief from the terrors of this world is what we call The Rapture. It's the moment when Jesus calls all of His true followers to join Him in heaven. And it can happen at any moment now. All of the relevant prophecies have been fulfilled and now we are awaiting the moment when God the Father says to God the Son, "The time of the gentiles has been completed. Go get Your bride!" The connection, however, to Trump colluding with Russia to influence the election is a stretch. Cohen faces the prison term because he allegedly paid hush money to a former Playboy Playmate and a porn star who claim affairs with Trump. Cohen also is accused of trying to broker a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump that would have "phenomenal" political and business implications. Still no smoking gun despite political and media spins. The prosecutors are saying that Cohan's payments of some $280,000 to the women were tantamount to illegal corporate campaign contributions to Trump because they were made to benefit the campaign by buying the women's silence. Cohen also lied about the timing of a Trump Tower business deal with Russia-a deal that never materialized. Cohen also is accused of monetizing his "Russian" connections to the tune of some $4 million through his consulting business prosecutors described as just one part of a decades-long career marked by deception and greed. Cohen pleaded guilty to eight federal criminal charges. The extent that Trump is connected to these doings will determine whether the President faces criminal charges. Trump claims these revelations actually clear him of wrongdoing. How is this different than the sordid actions of those who initially brought these accusations to the public? Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did a deal to send nuclear grade uranium to Russia scoring $145 million to the Clinton Foundation. Bill Clinton received $500,000 for a speech in Moscow. Clinton's campaign manager John Podesta did a $35 million energy deal with Russia, and the Clinton Foundation received $2.35 million in donations from Ian Telfer, head of Russia's uranium company. In October 2017, the FBI released information indicating both the Clinton's and the immediate past "president" were involved in a bribery/kickback scheme with Russian officials in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. They also used falsified documents to convince the secret FISA Court to allow spying on Trump's campaign. If the American taxpayer is going to foot the bill for millions of dollars in investigations, then why not investigate all the dark shenanigans that have been going on? Doesn't the citizenry have a right to know the self-enriching crooked deals that all these politicians are doing at not only taxpayer expense, but also at the expense of national security and the general welfare of the country? Proverbs 26:26 says, "[He] Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shown before the whole congregation." The American people cast their votes based on what they see and hear. How many would be repulsed and demand righteousness if those evil things done in darkness were exposed to the light? This battle goes back to the first Messianic verse in the Bible when, after Satan tempted Adam and Eve to sin, God said to him, "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel" (Genesis 3:15). Thus, Satan wanted to stop Christ from coming. The cradle was pointing to the Cross. The Incarnation was for the purpose of atonement. The purpose behind the birth of Jesus was the death of Jesus. This is New Testament Christianity. It's the division between light and darkness, righteousness and unrighteousness, good and evil, and right and wrong. Interestingly, it's actually through conflict that we can find real peace. For example, when someone walks into a dark place and turns on a bright light, it changes the entire dynamic. Through this conflict, through this disagreement, the ultimate unity will come. Why? Because as a Christian, you make people aware of their sin-and they don't like it one bit. You don't even have to say anything, really. You're just being you as a Christian. So don't be upset because there is a little conflict. Just hold your ground and keep praying. This division can result in people thinking about their souls, considering the claims of Christ, and then ultimately turning their lives over to the Lord.
