It is Coming - By Daymond Duck -
https://www.raptureready.com/2019/12/15/coming-daymond-duck/ First, according to Pope Francis, those that believe the Bible is literally true are a scourge (a hinderance or troublemakers) upon this planet. The Pope's criticism stems from his heavy involvement in the promotion of world government and world religion. He appears to not believe the verses in the Bible that say the coming world government and world religion will be evil (satanic). Somewhat significant is the fact that he is attacking those that do believe what the Bible says, because the head of the coming world religion will persecute believers. Last week, Pope Francis expressed support for the Two-State solution (dividing the land of Israel). Again, he obviously doesn't believe the Bible when it says God made a covenant to give all of the land of Israel to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in their generations forever (Israel). And he also doesn't believe the Bible when it says that God will drag the nations into the Battle of Armageddon for scattering His people and dividing His land. Come to think of it, Pope Francis is a Jesuit, a group of Catholics that is famous for opposing the publication of the first King James Version Bible. They even tried to assassinate King James to prevent the Bible from being published "in the language of the common people." They preferred to tell people what the Bible says rather than let them read it for themselves, and this has apparently not changed with Pope Francis. People that rely upon an unbeliever to tell them what the Bible says are in danger. Second, U.S. sanctions on Iran are working, and the Iranian people are suffering. Iran has admitted killing about 1,000 demonstrators, wounding thousands and jailing thousands more, and, for the most part, world leaders are strangely silent. Sadly, their silence will probably continue until Israel injures a Palestinian terrorist in Gaza. Then, they will suddenly become indignant. Third, the day when nations are afraid of a powerful U.S. military is over. On Dec. 3, 2019, Iranian-supported Shiite Iraqi terrorists fired five rockets into a large U.S. military base in Iraq. They were not afraid to attack a U.S. base. The U.S. responded by attacking the rocket launchers. Fourth, on Dec. 1, 2019, Pres. Trump spoke on the phone to Prime Min. Netanyahu. Some reports said they finalized plans for military coordination against Iran. This is a little vague, but it doesn't bode well for Iran. Fifth, on Dec, 5, 2019, it was reported that the UK, France and Germany have notified the UN that Iran is developing missiles that can deliver nuclear weapons. Some past reports say that Iran could have enough enriched nuclear material to build a bomb by the end of Dec. 2019, and the U.S. and Israel have said they will not let that happen. With Iran building the missiles and enriching the uranium, it seems obvious that a major escalation of events is coming. This article is short, but my schedule has been overwhelming lately, and I am leaving town for an interview and a conference. Prophecy Plus Ministries, Inc. Daymond & Rachel Duck [email protected] In the Midst: Part II - by Randy Nettles - https://rev310.com/2019/12/in-the-midst-part-ii-by-randy-nettles As I stated in my previous article, In the Midst, "If the Lord does return to the earth on a future Feast of Trumpets/Rosh Hashanah day, the time frame of the seven-years preceding it now come into view. To begin the hypothetical dating process of the seven years of the Tribulation/Jacob's Trouble you must travel in time to a future (a minimum of seven years from now) Feast of Trumpets day and then work your way back through the past and into the present." {1} There will probably be a considerable gap of time between the Rapture and the start of the Tribulation. A short time after the Rapture, there will be the development of a one-world government that will then split up into ten kingdoms. Following the division of the world into ten kingdoms, the Antichrist will begin his rise to power. He will eventually kill three of the kings and take control of their kingdoms. "And another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the former, and he shall put down three kings" (Daniel 7;24). Soon after, the remaining 7 kings will give control of their kingdoms to him. "The Antichrist's rise to power before the Tribulation is a biblical necessity. Since the Tribulation begins with the signing of the seven-year covenant between Israel and the Antichrist, it is necessary for the Antichrist to be in sufficient political power to sign such a covenant." {2} The following is an example with a four-year gap between the Rapture and the start of the Tribulation. I have added even more criteria (than the first article) that must come true in order for this example to be valid. These are the 6 conditions that must be met: 1) Jesus must return to the battle of Armageddon on a future Feast of Trumpets day (Tishri 1). This will happen 1260 days after the Abomination of Desolation 2) The Antichrist will confirm the covenant with Israel and thus start the Tribulation. This will happen on a Friday, for Jesus was killed on a Thursday in 33 A.D. For proof of this fact go to https://gracethrufaith.com/topical-studies/holidays-and-holy-days/solving-the-three-day-three-night-mystery/. Jesus' crucifixion was on the last day of the 69th week (483rd year) of Daniel's prophecy (Daniel 9:25-26); when he was "cut off". I think it is highly likely that the resumption of the long-delayed 484th year will be on the following day of Friday. The last day of the 490th year (2520 days) will also be on a Friday. 3) 1230 days later, the 'in the midst" event known as the Abomination of Desolation, will occur. It will take place on Nisan 10 on the Jewish calendar. The Antichrist will emulate Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem as the king of the Jews on this day. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey on Nisan 10 in the year A.D. 33. The Antichrist will ride into Jerusalem on the back of a white horse as a conquering king (Revelation 6:2) on this same day in the future. 4) The Gog/Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39 will occur 7 years before the A.O.D. Ezekiel prophesied that the Jews would burn the weapons of the armies of the nations that attacked Israel for a period of seven years (Ezekiel 39:9-10). In Matthew 24:15-17 Jesus warned the people when they see the A.O.D. spoken of by the prophet Daniel, they should flee to the mountains. He told the people to not waste time getting items out of their house, not even their clothes. If this is the case, the Jews that are fleeing will not be taking any of the weapons they confiscated with them as they are fleeing for their lives. The weapons will already have been burned up by this time. 5) The Gog/Magog war will start on Kislev 24 of the Jewish calendar. Haggai describes this war in a very similar way that Ezekiel does with the Gog/Magog war. Haggai even gives the date....the 24th day of the 9th month. Compare Haggai 2:18-22 with Ezekiel 38:18-22. 6) The Rapture will precede the Gog/Magog war. I believe it will only be a small gap of time of months and not years. Of course, this is just an educated guess as the Bible doesn't speak on this issue. After the Rapture, the U.S. of America will no longer be militarily capable to protect Israel against Russia and its allies. They will only be able to give a mild protest to the U.N. regarding this invasion (Ezekiel 38:13). Event Jewish calendar Gregorian calendar Day of the week Israel's 72nd Anniversary Lyyar 21, 5780 May 14, 2020 Thursday Feast of Pentecost Sivan 16, 5780 May 31, 2020 Sunday Feast of Trumpets Tishri 1, 5781 Sept. 18, 2020 Friday Gog Magog war Kislev 24, 5781 Dec. 9, 2020 Wednesday Start of Tribulation Heshvan 22, 5785 Nov. 24, 2024 Friday In the midst Tribulation Nisan 10, 5789 Apr. 5, 2028 Wednesday Jesus' 2nd Coming Tishri 1, 5792 Sept. 17, 2031 Wednesday End of Tribulation Heshvan 21, 5792 Oct. 17, 2031 Friday In this example of possible time frames of the pre-Tribulation and Tribulation world events, there are 7 years and 4 months between the Gog/Magog war and the A.O.D. This satisfies condition #4. The Gog/Magog war starts on Kislev 24, 5781.This would satisfy condition #5. The start of the Tribulation will begin on a Friday (Nov. 24, 2024, thus satisfying condition #2. The in the midst A.O.D. occurs on Nisan 10, 5789 (Apr. 5, 2028), which satisfies condition #3. Jesus' 2nd Coming will occur (in this example) on Tishri 1, 5792 (Sept. 17, 2031). This satisfies condition #1. The end of the Tribulation will occur on Heshvan 21, 5792 (Oct. 17, 2031) on a Friday. This of course also satisfies condition #2. The 7 years between 2024 and 2031 are the only 7 year timelines (between now and 2034) that meet all of the six criteria listed above. In this example, the Rapture would occur sooner rather than later. Amen! Even so come Lord Jesus. Fruchtenbaum pg. 127 The New EU Push For Palestinian Statehood Is Dangerous For Israel - By Yoni Ben Menachem/JNS.org - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=3691 Following the U.S. recognition in November of the legality of Israel's West Bank settlements, Luxembourg's Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn is advancing an initiative calling for the European Union to recognize a Palestinian state. Last week, Asselborn sent a letter to the E.U.'s new foreign-affairs representative, Josep Borrell, and to the 27 E.U. foreign ministers. In the letter, he argued that the way to rescue the two-state solution was to create a "more equitable situation" policy-wise between Israel and the Palestinians, to which end he urged the European states to hold a discussion as soon as possible regarding the possibility of recognizing a Palestinian state. Such a move, he said, would not be anti-Israel. "In no way would it [such steps] be directed against Israel. Indeed, if we want to contribute to solving the conflict between Israel and Palestine, we must never lose sight of Israel's security conditions, as well as of justice and dignity for the Palestinian people," he wrote in the letter. According to officials in Jerusalem, Israel's Foreign Ministry is preparing to thwart Luxembourg's new initiative. A debate on the issue is scheduled to be held at the meeting of European foreign ministers in January. Regardless of the ultimate outcome, however, the Palestinians are encouraged by this new European direction. The Palestinians have been demanding for years that the European Union as a body take practical steps towards the recognition of a Palestinian state. While some European parliaments and governments have recognized a Palestinian state, as yet there has not been any unifying European decision on the issue. However, all European Union member states, with the lone exception of Hungary, condemned U.S. Secretary of State Pompeo's Nov. 18 statement on Israel's settlements. More than 135 countries in the world, including Russia, China, Eastern European states and Arab and Muslim countries, already recognize a Palestinian state. As far as the Palestinians are concerned, Asselborn's initiative is an important step, one with the potential not only to determine the European position on President Donald Trump's Mideast peace plan but also to torpedo the possibility of establishing an autonomous Palestinian region only in the West Bank. The new European initiative comes shortly after the European Court of Justice ruled that all E.U. member states must clearly label products made in the West Bank, eastern Jerusalem and the Golan Heights as having been produced in an "Israeli settlement." This legal process began in 2015 following E.U. directives to exclude products originating from the territories captured by Israel after the 1967 war. European Union recognition of a Palestinian state and the adoption of Asselborn's initiative will require a unanimous E.U. member vote--but even recognition by lone European countries of a Palestinian state will be considered a Palestinian achievement. The complex political situation in Israel is delaying Trump's Mideast peace plan, but Israeli politicians are also trying to further the process of annexing the Jordan Valley, a move backed by the Trump administration. According to security sources in Israel, Jordanian King Abdullah recently sent Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a communiqué saying that Israeli annexation of the Jordan Valley would result in Jordan suspending its peace treaty with Israel. Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas warned on Dec. 9 in a speech in Ramallah that if Israel decides to annex the Jordan Valley, the P.A., too, will cancel all agreements with Israel. Meanwhile, the P.A. and European countries alike need Israeli approval for elections in the West Bank and for the participation of eastern Jerusalem residents in such elections. Senior Fatah member Hussein al-Sheikh announced that the Palestinian Authority has officially appealed to Israel to approve the participation of eastern Jerusalem residents in the elections, while Abbas has said that the P.A. is continuing efforts with European countries to urge Israel to allow elections in the Palestinian territories, as Israel did in 1996 and 2006. Will the Israeli government allow eastern Jerusalem residents to vote in Palestinian elections after the U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel? Israel also has other considerations with regard to the issue, and does not have to comply with the request of European countries to agree to elections in the territories. For instance, in 2006, Israel agreed to elections, and the result was the victory of Hamas. Terrorists won the Palestinian parliamentary vote and forcefully expelled the Palestinian Authority from the Gaza Strip a year later. Therefore, it should be made clear to European countries that recognition of a Palestinian state prematurely determines what should be the outcome of negotiations and unacceptable to Israel. Israel will not take any steps to advance the idea of a Palestinian state without the issue being agreed upon in negotiations. The Oslo Accords did not recognize the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and did not stipulate that settlement activity should be stopped; the PLO signed it and must respect it. Unilateral European recognition of a Palestinian state would only enhance antagonism and would not promote peace. Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip and received in return for its sacrifice an independent terrorist-controlled entity. Israel cannot be expected to repeat the same mistake in the West Bank. An independent Palestinian state in the West Bank is a serious danger to Israel's security, especially in light of Hamas's efforts to take control of these territories, so Israel must fight this new European initiative with all its might and try to get it removed from the European political agenda. Recently Revealed Jewish Prayer on Temple Mount: First Stage in Third Temple Construction - By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz - www.breakingisraelnews.com "I will bring them to My sacred mount And let them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices Shall be welcome on My mizbayach; For My House shall be called A house of prayer for all peoples." Isaiah 56:7 (The Israel Bible™) On Thursday morning, for the first time since the Temple stood in Jerusalem, a minyan (quorum) of ten Jews stood and prayed on the Temple Mount. Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount was legally mandated in a 2015 Jerusalem magistrate court decision but a clause in the ruling permitted the police to enforce the law based on security considerations. For the last four years, the Israeli police have cited Palestinian Islamic violence as a reason to prevent Jews from praying at the site. A hint that this might change was given by Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan last August in an interview with Israel's Radio 90. "I think there is an injustice in the status quo that has existed since '67," he told Israel's Radio 90. "We need to work to change it so in the future Jews, with the help of God, can pray at the Temple Mount." Rabbi Yehudah Glick a former Likud Member of Knesset who has been advocating for universal prayer on the Temple Mount for many years was the complainant in that lawsuit. But his devotion to the cause was not limited to the courtroom. Six years ago Rabbi Glick was arrested and issued a court order distancing him from the Temple Mount after he recited the prayer עלינו לשבח (Aleinu l'shabeach; it is our duty to praise God). He carried out a hunger strike and was involved in a drawn-out legal process which finally resulted in him being allowed to return to the holy site he loves so much. Rabbi Glick was motivated by a vision of the Temple Mount as a House of Prayer for All Nations. He did not object to Muslims praying on the site and was even filmed praying alongside Muslims at the site. His vision necessarily requires all nations. Rabbi Glick was optimistic about the recent phenomenon of Jewish prayer. "We've been working to have Jewish prayer n the Temple Mount for the last few months but we prefer to have it done quietly," Rabbi Glick told Breaking Israel News. "But now it is time to come out with it. This is a major change." "I believe in evolution, not revolution. Healthy change happens slowly, organically. We need to get more people to come, Jews and non-Jews. It will be, God willing, a true House of Prayer for all nations. The change is happening in front of our eyes. It will happen when people come, when they show they want it. But we want to make a House of prayer and not a place of conflict. The change has to be slow and gradual for it to be permanent." Jews have been praying at the site for several months but the police do not allow Jews to stand in place or say the prayers out loud. Responsive prayer, a central aspect of communal prayer was expressly forbidden. Special rabbinic dispensation allowed Jews on the Temple to pray while walking. One Temple Mount activist who regularly silently recites prayers when he ascends to the site noted the glaring deficit in the video. "Though it is true that for some time the police have allowed Jews to pray silently, a Jew does not recite the morning prayers without a tallit (prayer shawl) and tefillin (phylacteries). We need to be able to read from a Torah scroll," the activist stated. "The police do not officially have a policy that allows Jews to pray. It is as if we are going to our holiest site and praying like thieves in the middle of the night." But he preferred to see the cup half full. "We have to keep moving forward as a nation. As soon as there are enough Jews who want it, it will happen. And in recent years we have seen wonders in this regard." The beginning of Jewish prayer at the site is clearly a result of increased Jewish visitation. Elishama Sanderman heads Yera'eh, an organization that tracks the number of Jews who ascend to the Temple Mount. "Last (Hebrew) year, 29,420 Jews ascended to the Temple Mount," Sanderman said. "In the first two months of this year, 7,700 Jews ascended. If the change which brought about Jewish prayer this year was the result of Jews coming to the Temple Mount last year, then we can expect even more changes next year." Sanderman explained that prayer had actually begun on the Rosh Hashanna when some Jews prayed a shortened version of the holiday prayer while walking on the Temple Mount. This practice gradually became more prevalent. "There is now Shacharit (morning prayer) and Mincha (afternoon prayer) every day on the Temple Mount," Sanderman reported. "Of course, this is carried out without tallit and tefillin and without a Torah reading. The prayers are very quiet and without fuss. As much as possible, it is done quietly." "As long as the prayers are not carried out in an intentionally confrontational or demonstrative manner, the police allow it to happen." There are certain elements of Jewish prayer that can only be performed in a quorum and these are in fact being carried out in these daily prayers on the Temple Mount. The new development does have its dangers. In their report on the event, the Jerusalem Post cited a Wakf (Muslim authority) official who said he was "unaware of any change in the status quo on the Temple Mount, but warned that any change would lead to renewed protests and spark a strong response from Arabs and Muslims." Yaakov Hayman, chairman of the United Temple Movements, noted that this recent prayer session was the result of an ongoing trend. "Jews have been praying more and more on the Temple Mount," Hayman said. "As more Jews go up, the police will not be able to stop them from praying, and neither should they try to stop Jewish praying. It is the law establishing freedom and equality of religion that determined that we should be able to." Hayman noted that non-Muslims are currently prohibited from using the water fountains, in a manner reminiscent of the era of segregation in the U.S. when negroes were not permitted to use water fountains designated exclusively designated for use by whites. "The next step is the Third Temple," Hayman said "But there are a few steps before that.Jews need to have free access to the Temple Mount like the Muslims do, all day every day. Just like at the Kotel (Western Wall)." Hayman noted that Jews are only permitted to enter the compound for a few hours in the morning and Jews pray three times a day. Jews are currently prohibited from entering on the Sabbath. "There also needs to be a permanent place for Jewish prayer. This will also help to keep Jews and Muslims separated at prayer times and lower the tension." Hayman also noted the historic mistakes made that generated this dilemma. He referenced the paratrooper's victory on the Temple Mount 52 years ago, an event that was commemorated earlier this month by a gathering of the original soldiers on the site. In an unprecedented move, the former paratroopers unfurled an Israeli flag. "They were ordered to descend and conquer the Kotel," Hayman said. "Why? The Kotel is only holy because of its proximity to the Temple Mount. If they had stayed on the Temple Mount, we would already have a Third Temple. But the Jewish people had been denied their national right to our holiest site for so long, we could only allow ourselves to see the periphery of holiness. When faced with the actual source of holiness, our eternal dream, we couldn't even see it." Not everyone agrees that the Jews should be ascending to the Temple Mount and praying. Rabbi Dov Begon, the head of Machon Meir Yeshiva, was one of the soldiers that captured Jerusalem in 1967. "For the sake of national unity, I prefer to adhere to the ruling of the Chief Rabbinate which does not permit Jews to ascend. That is the body responsible for religious matters in the State of Israel." Daily Jot: Hope, Faith, Action - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com A longstanding Daily Jot once wrote expressing in just a few sincere words what many feel on a daily basis. He wrote: "I pray daily concerning the state of our Country and world, I write my congressman and senator encouraging them to stand for the constitution and on Godly principles. I also share the truth of the Gospel and on what's really going on in our Country and in government with others, but I feel so helpless. I mean, I don't feel like I'm putting a dent in what's going on. Help!" I have been writing The Daily Jot for nearly 18 years. The state of the world has steadily declined and will continue to do so. Christians, take heart. We are to overcome evil with good and not grow weary in doing it. Every phone call you make. Every letter you write. Every email you send. Every word you speak. Be encouraged. The Lord said in Isaiah 55:10-12, "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." Neither be offended. The Lord says in Ezekiel 3:17-19, "When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul." No matter how long, no matter how difficult things become, do what the Lord tells you to do. As you do these things unto the Lord, you have made a transfer, so to speak, from yourself to others. It is now on them to act responsibly with the information. You have done your part. God sent his only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins that we might have life everlasting. It's up to us to share the many facets of living out our salvation. 2 Corinthians 4:7-10 exhorts: "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body." Keep going. Keep doing. You never know when your action may be that last full measure needed to advance God's plan. Hope, Faith, Action. Daily Devotion: An Example at Any Age - by Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org The LORD himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means 'God is with us').-Isaiah 7:14 The Bible is filled with the stories of young people who made a difference. Jeremiah was just a boy when the Lord called him to be a prophet to the nation. He protested and said he was too young. He wanted the Lord to get someone else. We know that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were very young men when they took their principled stand for what was true. Stephen, the first martyr of the church, also was very young. That is why the apostle Paul wrote to the very young Timothy, "Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity" (1 Timothy 4:12 NLT). I often looked at that verse when I was starting out in ministry, because I was so young and people were dismissive of me. Yet God had called me, so I did what He called me to do. I think when you're young, you're more willing to take risks. That is sort of a trademark of youth. But it's also something that can get you into trouble. As you get older, however, you become more seasoned and experienced, more careful and cautious. You're less willing to take risks. That can be good, because you've learned from experience. But that also can be bad, because you're not willing to let the Lord do something fresh and new in your life. Mary, the mother of Jesus, was very young, a nobody in a nothing town in the middle of nowhere. Yet she literally was a fulfillment of a promise that God had made (see Isaiah 7:14). This unknown girl living in a relatively unknown city brought about the most known event in human history. FROM THE HEART
