All Israel Shall Be Saved! The End Times Salvation of Israel - By Beginning and End -
https://beginningandend.com/all-israel-shall-be-saved-the-end-times-salvation-of-israel/ All through Scripture, the Bible prophesies that in the end times, a remnant of Jewish believers will come to a full acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as the prophesied Messiah and Savior of the Old Testament. The plan of salvation of God involved the Jews initially rejecting their Messiah and coming to a full saving faith as a nation during the final years before the Second Coming of The Lord. This article will explain the reconciliation of the remnant and their supernatural fate in the kingdom of the Antichrist. The Rejection of Jesus Christ Led To Spiritual Blindness "Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord." - Matthew 23:34-39. In this powerful passage The Lord Jesus Christ rebuked the nation of Israel for their rejection of Him and all of the prophets and men of God who pointed to the coming of the Savior throughout the Old Testament. This was the moment when The Christ should have been received by the twelve tribes. But because of their spiritual rebellion and false religion (promoted by the Pharisees and Sadducees) they "would not" receive the Savior. And not only did they reject The Lord, they demanded He put to death which was carried out by Pontius Pilate. As a result, the Israelites would be cut off and punished (chiefly by the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem itself which took place in 70AD by the Roman Empire as prophesied by Jesus Christ). In the intervening centuries much of Jewish thought became guided by non-Biblical texts like the Talmud and Zohar. But note that in the very last verse of Matthew 23, Jesus told His Jewish audience that they would not "see" Him again until they said "Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord." In the midst of the rebuke and judgment was a glimmer of hope - one day Israel would indeed "see" Jesus Christ for who He truly Is: The Son of God and prophesied Messiah of The Old Testament. The Spiritual Blindness of Israel - Start of The Church Age "What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?" - Romans 11:7-12. The "slumber" and "blindness" of Israel is their collective, national rejection and opposition to the Gospel of Jesus Christ [B&E: Of course individual Jewish believers can and do come to saving faith in Jesus Christ on a regular basis]. However as the Apostle Paul explains, this opened the door for the Church Age - in which God will bring salvation to the Gentile nations. This is the present era we live in. But in verse 12, Paul also acknowledges that Israel will eventually come to "fulness" - meaning a full understanding of God's Word and saving faith in the true Messiah. Paul acknowledged this that was all a mystery in ancient times: "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes." - Romans 11:25-28. The mystery - now revealed in the Church Age was that Israel (as a nation) would remain in Spiritual blindness until the Church Age was complete. The completion of the Church Age occurs at the Rapture. When God will remove the Church from the Earth and once again turn His Face back to Israel. Israel In The End Times The last fifteen chapters of the book of Ezekiel detail the spiritual awakening and reconciliation of Israel to God during the Great Tribulation and Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Here are a sample verses that explain the reconciliation of Israel to God in the end times: God Will Bring Israel Back Into The Promised Land And Appoint The Messiah To Rule Over Them "And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spoken it. And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. "And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing...and shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them. And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid. "...Thus shall they know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord God. And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God." - Ezekiel 34:23-31. God Will Work Spiritual Change In The Hearts Of The Israelites "Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord God; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. "For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them." - Ezekiel 36:22-27. Valley of The Dry Bones - The Jews Will Be Spiritually Alive In this dramatic illustration, the prophet Ezekiel was shown a vision of a valley full of dried up bones of the dead. And The Lord supernaturally brings flesh and life back into the bones, turning it into a mighty army: "Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. "Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army."- Ezekiel 37:5-10. The Twelve Tribes Will No Longer Be Divided In the Old Testament Judah and Benjamin were separated from the other 10 tribes as a part of a judgment for Israel's spiritual apostasy. Both the Northern and Southern kingdoms were ultimately conquered by foreign armies. In the end times, the 12 tribes will be reunited: "And [The Lord] shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord. The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying, Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions...Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand." - Ezekiel 37:14-16; 19. Jesus Christ Will Rule Israel In An Eternal Government "And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. "Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore." - Ezekiel 37:24-28. During the time of the prophet Ezekiel King David had been dead for approximately 500 years. The "David" spoken of in this passage is the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Jesus in Scripture is called the "Son of David" who will sit on the "throne of David." And God The Father also called Jesus His "Beloved Son" during the baptism of Christ. David, in Hebrew means "beloved." The Gog Magog War Ezekiel 38 and 39 chronicle the Gog Magog wars - 2 military conflicts in which foreign coalitions try to invade Israel only to be supernaturally conquered by God. The first attack which commences after the opening of the 6th Seal and the Rapture, will coincide with the spiritual awakening of Israel. For more on this see our article: "The Two Wars of Gog Magog - Ezekiel 38 and 39 Explained." The Final Deception - The Antichrist Although Israel will corporately come to a Biblical worship of God at the start of the Day of The Lord, the final deception will be that some will be deceived by the Antichrist - the satanically empowered false Messiah who will rule the Earth for the final 3 1/2 years before the Second Coming of Christ. The Bible prophesies that the Antichrist will present himself as a savior to Israel, conquering its hostile neighbors and reinstituting the Mosaic law: "And one week shall establish the covenant with many: and in the midst of the week my sacrifice and drink-offering shall be taken away: and on the temple shall be the abomination of desolations; and at the end of time an end shall be put to the desolation." - Daniel 9:27, Brenton's Septuagint. In the end times, "the covenant" - which is the Mosaic law, will be reinstituted. Thus there will be temple sacrifices and proper Levitical worship. But in the middle of this final 7 years, the Antichrist will reveal his true agenda: to proclaim himself god and establish a global satanic empire (bringing and end to the "sacrifice and drink-offering). At this time, he will seek to persecute the believing Jewish remnant: "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads...and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. "And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days." - Revelation 12:1-3; 5-6. The woman of Revelation 12 is Israel and the Antichrist will seek to persecute and destroy all Jewish believers. The Antichrist will proclaim himself god, demand worship under penalty of death and set up an image of himself in the temple of god (the "abomination of desolation" of Daniel 9 and quoted by The Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 24). However, the believing Israelite remnant will be supernaturally protected for 1,260 days - the precise duration of the reign of the Antichrist before the Second Coming. The final step in Israel's reconciliation is the faith in the true Christ - Jesus: "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn." - Zechariah 12:10-11. The believing Israelite nation will "look upon" Jesus and realize that the same Jesus who was "pierced" on the cross 2,000 years ago, who was rejected and scorned by Israel - is the true Messiah. And the "mourning" will be their repentance and salvation through faith in Christ. During this time in the Great Tribulation, only 1/3 of the Jewish nation will come to a full understanding and belief in Jesus Christ as the Messiah: "Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God." - Zechariah 13:7-9. The Millennium - All Israel Is Saved Ezekiel chapters 40-49 all focus on the construction and administration of the temple during the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ. After the Great Tribulation, the Antichrist and Armageddon, the temple will be rededicated to God and Jesus Christ will reign over earth for 1,000 years. During this time, the promises of Israel to dwell in the Promised Land forever will be fulfilled: "For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name. Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God." - Isaiah 62:1-3. "And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one. All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited." - Zechariah 14:8-11. The Church and Israel will be grafted into one Branch - The Lord Jesus Christ, ruling and reining with the Savior. If you are a Christian know that Jewish people can be saved today. Australia: Half-Recognition Of Jerusalem Means Redividing The Capital - By Yaakov Ahimeir - http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=2821 I am not particularly enthusiastic about Australia's recognition of "west Jerusalem as the capital of Israel" while its embassy remains in Tel Aviv. On the other hand, anyone with a desire to repartition Jerusalem is cordially invited to send Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison a nice thank you card. Morrison, after all, declared his country's recognition for half of Jerusalem, which essentially means redividing the Israeli capital into two cities. The declaration apparently stems from internal political considerations. Similar to the Netanyahu government, the Morrison government hinges on a minuscule parliamentary majority. His is not a principled recognition of a united Jerusalem, but an announcement that may, perhaps, sway some Jewish voters in Australia. From this perspective alone, Morrison is a disappointment: He is a Christian Evangelical, but seems far from his Evangelical friends who very vocally and passionately promote the biblical connection between the land of Israel and the people of Israel. It means that Australia has decided, even before negotiations with the Palestinians, that so-called "east Jerusalem" will be the capital of a Palestinian state, if one is established. This is a unilateralist, premature determination, which should have been withheld until the sides properly negotiate the matter. In Europe, under very different international circumstances, the government of West Germany decided many years ago to relocate its capital from a divided Berlin to the nondescript city of Bonn. Democratic West Germany could not come to terms with the Berlin Wall splitting the city in two. If the Australian government recognizes only half of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, will Israel acknowledge this gesture, which predetermines the repartitioning of Jerusalem? We hope Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is appropriately questioning the move through the proper channels. The Netanyahu government should not accept a "half-recognition" of this sort. On the matter of Jerusalem - the "heart of the conflict" - Israel's right-wing government should insist on the united city principle, under one sovereign country and beholden to one law enforced equally in both parts of the city. We should note that Morrison's declaration has already reverberated near and far: Muslim countries Indonesia and Malaysia will certainly scale back relations with Australia, the regional power. Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world, and it is not for nothing that Morrison's first trip abroad as prime minister was to Jakarta, the Indonesian capital. Indonesia has already frozen negotiations with Australia over a substantial trade agreement. Other countries in the Arab-Muslim world have also condemned Australia. They did so after Morrison first announced he was "pondering" the gesture. Australia's opposition Labor party is also criticizing the move. We should express our reserved appreciation for the Australian gesture, but we also wish that it and many other countries one day recognize all of Jerusalem and move their embassies there. The Fig Tree - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2018/12/16/fig-tree-daymond-duck/ Some say that Harry S. Truman read the Bible through more than once at a very young age (pre-school). They say his mother taught him many things out of the Bible, and she urged him to always be sympathetic toward the Jews. In 1934, Mr. Truman was elected to serve as one of the U.S. Senators from Missouri. One of Mr. Truman's best friends (and former business partner) was a secular Jew named Eddie Jacobson. Mr. Jacobson urged Mr. Truman to see if he could get the Promised Land recognized as the homeland of the Jewish people (the Fig Tree). In 1943, Mr. Truman called for a homeland in the Middle East for the Jews. Several world leaders, the Arabs, the U.S. Dept. of State, the U.S. Dept. of Defense and others strongly criticized him for doing this. On Jan. 20, 1945, Sen. Harry S. Truman became Vice Pres. Harry S. Truman under Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt. On April 12, 1945, about two and one-half months later, Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt died. Vice Pres. Harry S. Truman suddenly became Pres. Harry S. Truman. Before Mr. Truman finished out Pres. Roosevelt's term, he decided to run in the next election for Pres. of the U.S. in 1948. His Republican opponent was a man named Thomas Dewey. Many people told Pres. Truman he would have to drop his support for a homeland for the Jews in the Middle East or he wouldn't get elected. They said Mr. Truman was playing with fire, but he was stubborn and he refused to cave because he believed the U.S. should help the Jews get a homeland. On May 14, 1948 (almost six months before the U.S. presidential election), Israel declared independence. Pres. Truman didn't let his desire to be elected keep him from supporting Israel. Campaign or no campaign, he immediately recognized the nation of Israel. The Bible says God told Abraham that He will bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel (Gen. 12:3). The election was held in the fall of 1948, and everyone was sure that Pres. Truman had lost the election. Some newspapers actually prepared articles to announce that Thomas Dewey was the winner before all of the votes were counted. The front-page headline on the Chicago Tribune read "Dewey Defeats Truman." But when all of the votes were counted, Harry S. Truman had won the election. God raises up leaders and He brings down leaders. Perhaps we should ask, when Israel declared independence in 1948, was it a coincidence that the president of the most powerful nation on earth was a man whose mother taught him to be kind to the Jews? Was it a coincidence that one of the president's best friends was a Jew that asked him to help get the Promised Land recognized as a homeland for the Jews? Was it a coincidence that this man was the vice pres. when Pres. Roosevelt died? Was it a coincidence that almost no one thought that Mr. Truman could get elected because of his support for Israel, but he supported Israel anyway and he won? In about six months, I will be 80 years old, and I vaguely remember Pres. Truman. I seem to remember that he was controversial and stubborn. I remember hearing a joke that said he had a brain injury from being kicked in the head by a Missouri mule. According to the joke, the authorities removed the mule's brain and transplanted it into Pres. Truman. Let's skip 68 years of history to 2016 and a man named Donald J. Trump. Mr. Trump had never held a political office in his life, but he decided to run for the office of President of the U.S. He surrounded himself with evangelical Christians who urged him to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. One of his best friends, a devout Jew named David Friedman, urged him to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Mr. Trump came from a Jewish background; but he had an immoral past and many said he's a joke, he doesn't have a chance to get elected, etc. Many urged him not to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. Some said moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem would trigger WW III. But Pres. Trump is said to be stubborn and controversial (like Pres. Truman), and he didn't cave. On the night of the election, almost everyone thought Hillary Clinton had won. God said He would bless those who bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel. Donald J. Trump was elected Pres. of the U.S.; he nominated his devout Jewish friend, David Friedman, for the position of U.S. Ambassador to Israel, and he moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem exactly 70 years to the day, perhaps one generation, from the day Harry S. Truman recognized Israel as a nation. The Bible says we can see the day of Jesus' return approaching (Heb. 10:25). When the disciples asked Jesus about the signs of His coming and the end of the age, He told them to watch the fig tree (watch Israel; Matt. 24:3, 32-34). For almost 2,000 years there was no Fig Tree to watch (no nation of Israel to watch); but within our Psalm 90:10 (70- to 80-year) lifespan, two men that went against the advice of many people and were told they wouldn't get elected, got elected. Today, there is a Jewish nation in the Promised Land. Israel captured East Jerusalem in 1967, and the U.S. Embassy is now in Jerusalem. "Now learn a parable of the fig tree (Israel); When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled" (Matt. 24:32-34). Prophecy Plus Ministries, Inc. Daymond & Rachel Duck [email protected] Rabbi: 'The Torah is Truth, We'll Know in the End of Days' - By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz - www.breakingisraelnews.com When your eyes behold a king in his beauty, When they contemplate the land roundabout. Isaiah 33:17 (The Israel Bible™) "King David himself prophesied in Psalms that when his descendant arrives to re-establish the kingdom of God, all of the nations will bring gifts to the king," said Rabbi Yosef Berger, the rabbi of King David's Tomb on Mount Zion. Speaking to Breaking Israel News in the midst of a month-long campaign to "prepare for the Messiah in the most practical manner" by creating a crown that will be presented to him as a gift upon his arrival in Jerusalem, Berger stressed the importance of universal participation in such a project. Berger believes making this crown will be the completion of the story of Jacob and Esau. Rabbi Yosef Berger is the son of Rabbi Shalom Berger, the spiritual leader of thousands of members of the Mishkoltz sect of Hasidic Jewry. Their family can trace their lineage, from father to son, directly back to King David. What does he mean the completion of the story of Jacob and Esau? From Your temple above Yerushalayim. The kings bring You tribute. Psalms 68:30 This verse will be inscribed on the crown to emphasize this aspect of the gift. The rabbi explained that for this prophecy to materialize, the gift must come from the nations. "Jacob gave presents to Esau that Esau initially did not want to accept," Rabbi Berger said, citing the verse in Genesis. Please accept my present which has been brought to you, for Hashem has favored me and I have plenty." And when he urged him, he accepted. Genesis 33:11 "Esau then suggested they continue their journey together," Rabbi Berger said. "But Jacob demurred, assuring his brother that they would meet in Seir. Esau continued on to Seir but Jacob went directly to Sukkoth." The verse has posed a difficulty for Torah scholars since Jacob and Esau do not, in fact, meet again. "The Torah is entirely truth," Rabbi Berger said. "When Jacob said that he would meet Esau in the future, he did not lie. The future he was speaking of is in the days of moshiach (messiah), when the nations will bring sacrifices in the Temple during the holiday of Sukkoth." Rabbi Berger cited a commentary on the Torah that prophesied that in the messianic era, the nation will return all of the gifts that Jacob gave to Esau. "This process of Esau returning gifts to Jacob was initiated in Solomon's Temple when the nations brought gifts from afar," Rabbi Berger explained. "Esau and Jacob are twin brothers and this brotherhood is what brings them together in the Temple." The rabbi emphasized that the 70 nations brought gifts to the Temple not as a tribute to a conqueror but as a recognition that all men were united in their love for the one true god. Let kings of Tarshish and the islands pay tribute, kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts. Let all kings bow to him, and all nations serve him. Psalms 72:10-11 Rabbi Berger explained that the word in the verse translated as "pay" is יָשִׁיבוּ, which is more accurately translated as "to return." "This is not paying a debt," Rabbi Berger emphasized. "Just as Jacob gave gifts to Esau as an act of love, a gift given when two brothers are reunited, the gifts brought to the king and to the Temple by the nations to the Messiah will be gifts given from one brother to another." "When the nations bring gifts to the Moshiach and the Temple, it will be the prophecy as written in Psalms and the embodiment of Esau returning the gifts from Jacob that he did not want to accept in the first place," Rabbi Berger said. This concept will be expressed in another verse from the Book of Zechariah that will likewise be inscribed on the crown. And Hashem shall be king over all the earth; in that day there shall be one Hashem with one name. Zechariah 14:9 This emphasizes the belief in the one true God, a belief that Esau and Jacob shared and which will be embodied in the Third Temple. Rabbi Berger noted that royal dynasties in Europe often claimed to be descendants of King David in order to justify their claim to rule. "It was clear that their claims were false because they were built on self-interest," Rabbi Berger said. "The proof was that the world was further divided by their rule. The true king unites people." The rabbi explained that unlike the monarchies that existed until now in European countries, the restored Davidic dynasty will unite all 70 nations in the service of Hashem, with each nation bringing its unique aspect to the messiah and the Temple. "In this generation, when it is clear that the messiah is imminent, merely waiting to reveal himself, we need to prepare our hearts by performing acts that strengthen our belief," Rabbi Berger said. "By preparing an actual crown, we are taking the first step toward bringing the inner vision of a king into reality. "The beauty of a true king has not been seen in the world since the exile began and the prophets assured us that it would return," he said. After the crown is created, Rabbi Berger is planning to hold a ceremony dedicating the crown as the prophesied gift to the messiah-king from the nations. The crown will then be put on display until such time as its true recipient will arrive. Daily Jot: How US presidents accelerated prophecy - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com Beginning in 2005, when president George W. Bush coerced and pressured then Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to remove some 8,500 Israeli Jews from Gaza, US presidents set America on collision course with the one true God. Within a few days of the Gaza evacuation, Katrina hit the US coast. Inside of six months, Sharon suffered a stroke and spent eight years in a coma before passing. Americans elected the immediate past "president," who promised "A New Beginning" with Muslims and the banned Muslim Brotherhood became his major foreign policy partner. Today, Israel is under attack and the new US president is trying to fix the problems the previous presidents helped create. In 2005, the terrorist group Hamas took over Gaza the moment the Israelis left. This was the true beginning of what five years later in 2010 became known as the Arab Spring where national Arab governments were being replaced with Islamist, Muslim Brotherhood-backed, al Qaeda-supported rebellions. In elections, the people who claim to be Palestinians elected Hamas over the other terrorist groups PLO and Fatah in Gaza. Hamas provided a clear model for the Muslim Brotherhood to use the leverage of a sympathetic White House to instigate rebellions in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Libya and Syria. The result was widespread chaos in the Middle East and a resurgence of terrorism surrounding Israel. Today, the destabilization of Syria from Arab Spring has proven an ongoing threat to peace and has caused much human suffering. Hezbollah missiles rain down on Israel and clashes with Israeli military have become commonplace. Hamas has continued its missile attacks from Gaza and the West Bank (traditional Jewish lands of Samaria and Judea), as well as fomenting riots. On Thursday, December 6, the UN's Arab members joined together to vote down a US-sponsored resolution condemning Hamas as a terrorist group. The vote was significant because the Trump Administration has been trying to turn the tide of anti-Israel sentiment that was further allowed to entrench during the previous White House. US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley told the General Assembly before the vote that "peace must be built on truth. To its shame, the General Assembly has avoided the truth of Hamas terrorism for far too long" and that the assembly could make history by condemning "one of the most obvious and grotesque cases of terrorism in the world." Instead, the vote, which required two-thirds majority to pass, fell short 87 in favor to 57 opposed with 33 abstentions. Speaking of the end time Day of the Lord, Zechariah 12:9 says, "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem." We can see how prophecy unfolds even by tracking very specific actions since 2005. This is how the nations so easily stand against Jerusalem and how the leaders we elect establish our destiny as a nation and a people. Daily Devotion: Joseph, the Unsung Hero - By Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org Joseph, her fiancé, was a good man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly. -Matthew 1:19 Joseph is the unsung hero of the Christmas story. For the most part, there are no Christmas songs about Joseph. Yet he really is a hero. The Bible tells us that Joseph was a "good man" (Matthew 1:19). Deeply in love with Mary, he was no doubt jolted by the news that she was pregnant. Joseph and Mary were engaged, which, in their culture, was like being married. Once a couple entered into this engagement, or espousal, period, it was like being married, although they lived in separate houses. It was during this time that Mary became pregnant. Yet Joseph loved Mary, and the Bible tells us that he "did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly" (Matthew 1:19). In other words, Joseph was thinking, I'm going to say that I can't marry her now, but I'm certainly not going to publicly shame Mary, either. While he was pondering this, an angel appeared to Joseph and told him, "Do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins" (verses 20-21). That was all Joseph needed to hear. He could have walked away, even after he knew the truth. But he stood by Mary. And just as surely as God chose Mary to be the mother of the Messiah, he chose Joseph to be a father figure on earth for Jesus. When God uses a person, there is a sacrifice to make. It won't be an easy path, but it will be a fruitful one-and you will look back later in life and be glad that you took it. FROM THE HEART

From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel.
