Recent Revelations - By Daymond Duck -
https://www.raptureready.com/2019/12/29/recent-revelations-daymond-duck/ One, at the end of the age, many nations will surrender their sovereignty, and the Antichrist will be given power over them. This appears to be shaping up, and there have been several reports that the USMCA (economic merger of the U.S., Mexico and Canada) surrenders the sovereignty of the U.S. On Dec. 19, 2019, the U.S. House of Rep. voted on, and passed, the USMCA. The U.S. Senate still has to vote on it, but the bill is expected to pass in the Senate too. Mexico has already passed the bill, but is objecting to changes the House made when it passed the bill. Canada said that nation will pass the bill as soon as it passes in the U.S. After the bill passes in all three nations, there will probably be a short period of time before it goes into effect. Two, according to the Bible, Israel will be a prosperous and powerful nation at the end of the age. On Dec. 16, 2019, Prime Min. Netanyahu said, "Israel is the most dynamic innovation nation in the world. This is not what I say, but what many others say." Three, on Dec. 16, 2019, prophecy expert, Amir Tsarfati, said Russia, Iran and Turkey have signed an agreement condemning Israel for attacking her enemies in Syria. This appears to be an effort by Russia, Turkey and Iran to protect Iranian forces while they prepare to attack Israel. These nations could use any Israeli attack or mistake as an excuse to start a war. Four, swine fever is 100% fatal to pigs, and it has wiped out millions (more than half) of the pigs in China. Swine fever has now been found in 50 nations, and it has killed about 30,000 pigs in Indonesia. Five, early in the Tribulation Period, there must be saved Jews in Israel because God will call Two Witnesses and 144,000 children of Israel to preach the Gospel. On Dec. 9, 2019, a Messianic Rabbi in Israel said the Good News of Jesus is beginning to spread throughout Israel. He added that the growth of Messianic ministries in Israel is proof that God's hand is upon Israel. To be more specific, there are now more than 175,000 Messianic Jews in Israel. Six, according to the Bible, Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem (Zech. 12:6b). On Dec. 6, 2017, Pres. Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. According to the Bible, the mountains of Israel will yield their fruit and corn to God's people at the end of the age (Ezek. 36:8, 29). On Mar. 21, 2019, the U.S. recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights (signed Mar. 25). According to the Bible, the Jews will return to Samaria and plant vineyards (Jer. 31:5). On Nov. 18, 2019, the Trump administration issued a new document that says civilian settlements in Samaria are not illegal. According to the Bible, there will be Jews in Judea when the Antichrist defiles the rebuilt Temple at the middle of the Tribulation Period (Matt. 24:16). On Nov. 18, 2019, the Trump administration issued a new document that says civilian settlements in Judea are not illegal. According to the Bible, God promised to make Abraham into a great nation (Gen. 12:2). On Dec. 11, 2019, Pres. Trump issued an Executive Order that recognizes Israel as a nation. According to the Bible, just before Jesus ascended into heaven, He told His Disciples, "ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" (Acts 1:8b). Pres. Trump is supportive of Jews living in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and more. Seven, on Dec. 10, 2019, it was reported that under the Obama, Bush and Clinton administrations, Israel had to make concessions to her enemies to get benefits from the U.S. But Pres. Trump has moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, pulled the U.S. out of the Iranian nuclear deal, and announced that Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria are legal without asking Israel to make even one concession. God raises up leaders, and God brings down leaders. It seems clear that God is using Pres. Trump to fulfill major end-of-the-age prophecies. Eight, on Dec. 12, 2019, Boris Johnson was overwhelmingly elected to be Prime Min. of the UK. He referred to himself as a passionate Zionist that loves the nation of Israel. His first official act as the newly elected Prime Min. of the UK was to make it illegal for public agencies to work with groups that boycott Israel. He joins Pres. Trump as a strong ally of Israel. Nine, on Dec. 19, 2019, the World Bank warned that debt in the emerging and developing nations is growing faster and larger than at any time in the last 50 years. It is not unusual for the World Bank to issue such warnings, but the World Bank and IMF seem more concerned than ever. Prophecy Plus Ministries, Inc. Daymond & Rachel Duck [email protected] Fighting Iran's undivided and indivisible regime - Caroline Glick - https://www.jns.org/opinion/fighting-irans-undivided-and-indivisible-regime/ The myth that has guided Western policy making regarding the regime in Iran has been the existence of a power struggle between moderates and hardliners. Its brutal crackdown against protesters has finally shattered that myth. In regards to Iran, for forty years, Western policymakers have been lying to themselves about the nature of the Iranian regime and basing their Iran policies on the lies they tell themselves. The main lie has been that there is an ongoing, existential struggle for power and control within the ranks of the regime's leadership. On the one hand, the fantasy goes, you have the "hardliners." They are the ones behind all the terrorism. They are the ones working to develop nuclear weapons and the warheads to deliver them. They are the ones who call out "Death to America, Death to Israel." Facing them are the "moderates." If the moderates seize the reins, the Iranians will eschew terror. They will walk away from their nuclear program. And the aspiration for an Islamic global empire will become no more than a children's fairytale. The conceptual framework for American and Western policy relating to Iran since the 1979 revolution has been that all you need to do to end the conflict with Iran and bring it back into the family of nations is to find the right mix of concessions to enable the moderates win their power struggle against the hardliners. On Monday, Reuters published a report about how the regime brutally repressed the countrywide protests last month that put paid this delusional notion. Based on accounts from four Iranian regime sources, Reuters reported that on November 17, the second day of the protests, when the demonstrations spread to Tehran, the demonstrators called openly for the regime to be overthrown and for the late Shah's son Reza Pahlavi to return to Iran and lead a post-Khomeinist republic, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei held a meeting to discuss how to handle the demonstrations. It was attended by President Hassan Rouhani, several members of his cabinet and senior security officials. After seeing pictures of protesters burning his photo and destroying a statue of the republic's founder Ayatollah Ruholla Khomeini, Khamenei reportedly yelled, "The Islamic republic is in danger. Do whatever it takes to end it. You have my order." Khamenei also said that "he would hold the assembled officials responsible for the consequences of the protests if they didn't immediately stop them." The participants at the meeting were made to understand that "those rioters should be crushed," Reuters reported And they were. According to Reuters' sources, within two weeks, 1,500 demonstrators, including 400 women and at least 17 teenagers were killed by regime forces. In other words, there is no epic struggle between hardliners and moderates in Iran. The leader of the "moderates," Rouhani is just as responsible for the brutal repression of the protesters as supposed "hardliners." They were all at the meeting. They all agreed that the protests had to be brutally crushed. Since Rouhani was first elected to the presidency in 2013, Western leaders have extolled him as the moderate we were all waiting for. The Obama administration, together with the Europeans insisted that with Rouhani at the helm of Iran, the West could make a nuclear deal that would give the regime a glide path to a nuclear arsenal inside of a decade and $150 billion in sanctions relief. Even Israel's security chiefs embraced the dream. In an interview with the Times of London on the eve of his retirement from the Israel Defense Forces last January, then Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Gabi Eisenkot repeated the standard talking points. There is a "power struggle in Iran between the Revolutionary Guards faction, led by [Revolutionary Guards commander Qassem] Soleimani, who is exporting the Islamic Revolution, and the more moderate faction led by President Hassan Rouhani, who wants to invest in the tottering economy rather than wars abroad," Eisenkot insisted. As Iran scholar Michael Ledeen wrote in response to Eisenkot's remarks, the dynamic in Iran doesn't involve "a power struggle between a radical and moderate faction. It's a rejection of regime strategy by the bulk of the Iranian people." Thanks to the Obama administration's political, economic and military support for Iran, when President Donald Trump entered office in January 2017, Iran had effectively consolidated its control over an empire that stretched from Iran through Iraq to Syria and Lebanon. Yemen had also become an Iranian colony. With Trump's decision in May 2018 to withdraw the US from Obama's nuclear deal and reinstate US sanctions against Iran, the Trump administration began destabilizing Iran, at home and throughout its colonies. The protests, which began in Lebanon and Iraq in October and spread last month to Iran, are rooted in economic privation and dislocation fomented in large part by the US sanctions. The regime's brutal repression of last month's protests - like its repression of the protests in Iraq where its forces and proxies have reportedly killed nearly 500 anti-Iranian demonstrators - show that in lieu of money, the Iranians - fake moderates and hardliners alike - are perfectly willing to rule through the jackboot. The implication of this bitter, but the obvious truth is that the only goal that should guide Iran's foes - and first and foremost, Israel and the US - is the goal of overthrowing the regime. That doesn't mean that Israel or the US needs to send an invasion force into Iran tomorrow. But it does mean that all efforts in relation to Iran should have a component that destabilizes the regime both at home and throughout its empire. This then brings us to Lebanon. This week, the mask came off in Lebanon twice. Whereas the myth that has guided Western policymaking regarding the regime in Iran has been the existence of a power struggle between moderates and hardliners, the myth relating to Lebanon has been that the government of Lebanon and the Lebanese Armed Forces are moderate actors that are independent and opposed to Iran's Lebanese proxy Hezbollah. Over the past week, this myth has been exposed as a lie twice. First, the Hezbollah-controlled Lebanese parliament elected Hezbollah's candidate, Hassan Diab, to serve as Lebanon's next prime minister and form its next government. Diab is entirely controlled by Hezbollah. There is no way that a government he leads will act independently of Hezbollah. Second, following airstrikes against Iranian assets and personnel south of Damascus this week that were attributed to Israel, Khamenei's top security adviser Ali Akbar Velayati threatened to respond by waging war against Israel from Lebanon. In his words, "The Zionist entity will regret its actions. We will respond sooner or later with the resistance in Syria and Lebanon. Hezbollah will harm Israel in its territory if it dares to strike in Lebanon." In other words, Iran said - and not for the first time - that it controls Lebanon. Through Hezbollah, it can and will attack Israel from Lebanon. Since the first Iranian war against Israel from Lebanon in 2006, US policy has been to pretend that the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Lebanese government are independent entities that oppose Hezbollah and operate independently of Hezbollah. The fact that Lebanese military forces provided logistical and targeting assistance to Hezbollah forces during the 2006 war made no impression on then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice when she announced and began implementing a policy of massively funding, arming and training the LAF. The fact that the Lebanese government served throughout the war as Hezbollah's foreign ministry also made no impression as the US massively expanded its economic assistance to the Lebanese government. Indeed, the US increased its funding of the Lebanese government after Hezbollah won the 2007 elections and began exercising formal control over the Lebanese government following its mini-coup in 2008. Israel, for its part, recognizes that Lebanon is controlled by Hezbollah and also recognizes that the goal of its actions against Iran must play on and exacerbate the destabilization of the regime's grip on power at home and throughout its colonial possessions. In a speech on Wednesday, Eisenkot's successor Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi set out Israel's plan for fighting Lebanon in the next war with Iran. He made clear that Lebanese infrastructure and urban centers would be targeted because they serve Hezbollah's war machine. Israel's military goal in its operations in Syria has apparently shifted in recent weeks. Until now, the purpose of Israel's military operations in Syria was to prevent the shipment of advanced, precision-guided munitions to Hezbollah. But now, judging from public statements and the reported attacks on Iranian assets, Israel's policy in Syria is a combination of aggressive strikes and attrition aimed at turning Syria into Iran's Vietnam. Israel's concept is right. But it may be alone in recognizing the nature of the challenge that Iran poses at home and through its proxies. The Europeans support Iran in all practical purposes. Despite the fact that Iran has now enriched twice the amount of uranium it is permitted to enrich under the nuclear deal, and has opened its heavy water reactor at Arak in material breach of the agreement, the Europeans refuse to restore UN sanctions even though, under the nuclear deal, they were supposed to automatically "snap back" the minute Iran breached the deal. The Americans for their part are divided. The official position of the Trump administration - restated this week by Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin at a conference in Doha - is that the US seeks to negotiate a better deal with the regime. So too, last week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo ordered the release of $130 million in economic aid to the Hezbollah-controlled Lebanese government. Dennis Ross, an elder statesman of Washington's fantasy-based foreign policy elite, penned an article in Foreign Policy this week where he recommended that the Democratic Congress budget massive aid to Lebanon to show the Lebanese people that America has their back and Iran doesn't. For Ross, the fact that Iran controls the Lebanese government that would receive all that money is neither here nor there. Israel is the only one fighting Iran militarily today. It can manage alone, but only so long as the Americans don't go wobbly and the Europeans feel pressured to change course on Iran. Along these lines, it is imperative that Israel ensure the Americans and Europeans understand the significance of Rouhani's involvement in the repression of last month's protests, Diab's election, and Velayati's threat this week to wage war against Israel through Lebanon. The Iranian regime is unified in its commitment to maintain its control over Iran and its empire. If they consolidate their Obama-era gains and complete their nuclear weapons program, it will be a strategic disaster for Israel and the world as a whole. Iran must be fought relentlessly on all fronts until its regime is consigned to history. Israel Watch: Provocation? - Jim Fletcher - [email protected] According to a Jerusalem Post report, Israel plans 2,000 more housing units in Samaria, while in 2019, 617 Palestinian homes were demolished. The units will be built in the Harasha outpost and a little beyond. According to the UN, Israel plans a whopping 22,000 new housing units in the "West Bank." We shall see. That is ambitious and, with the demolitions, will be seen as a red flag waved in the face of the international community. As we've written before, good and bad things are happening simultaneously where Israel is concerned. On the one hand, we have historically good relations between the U.S. and the Netanyahu administration, which is giving great cover to the Israelis. With Netanyahu announcing that he wants to annex the Jordan Valley, and Trump's State Department giving the green-light to consider the Golan Heights as sovereign Israeli territory, Israel is enjoying boom days. Of course, this doesn't even take into account the astonishing move of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem in 2017. What we also know, however, is that the other side is relentless in their evil. The Left never rests, and will give no peace to Israel in the coming years. The stage is setting up "nicely" for Zechariah's prophecies to be fulfilled, because Jerusalem will be the match that lights the great and terrible Day of the Lord. And although FOX's Pete Hegseth recently produced a wonderful report on the source of the Palestinian Christians' plight in Bethlehem (featuring my good friend, Brian Schrauger), the BBC is continuing its usual flawed reporting on same. According to a CAMERA report: "Barbara Plett Usher, notorious for her tearful eulogy of arch-terrorist Yasir Arafat and her participation in BBC's longtime campaign to delegtimize Israel, was sent to Bethlehem to report about Christmas there." In part, this is Usher's report: "Bethlehem, regarded as the birthplace of Jesus, typically sees a tourism boom at Christmas and this year looks like it could be one of the busiest years in recent memory. But as a Palestinian town in the West Bank, Bethlehem is also feeling the economic effects of the Israeli occupation. Israel has restricted movement out of the West Bank and confiscated some Palestinian land to build Jewish settlements." This kind of stuff, these falsehoods, only inflames Israel's many international enemies, and keeps going the fictional narrative that the "Occupation" is responsible for the Arab ills. There are more problems. A rash of anti-Semitic attacks-in the U.S.!-the latest at a Hannukah celebration in New York portend troubling days ahead. This is especially so as the generation of "leaders" like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez become more emboldened to spew their anti-Jewish filth. We must brace ourselves for what is to come, and enjoy these days of relative peace. As always, we know that our Lord is watching and in control. Maranatha! Christianity Today Does Not Speak For Me - By Grant Phillips - https://www.raptureready.com/2019/12/28/christianity-today-not-speak-grant-phillips/ Christianity Today was first published as a Christian magazine in 1956. As a teenager in the 60s, I often read the articles that were provided therein. Our strongly conservative Southern Baptist church occasionally provided free copies to those who attended the services. HOWEVER, as the years drifted by, the content of this magazine began to change. The focus changed. The Gospel of Christ was exchanged for a social gospel. The dial moved from right to left, and now is about as far left as one can get. Christianity Today was a strong Barak Obama supporter and now has shown their true colors in their sanctimonious attempt to include all Christians in their discrediting President Donald Trump. They have even attempted to use the name of Billy Graham to support their cause. Thankfully, Franklin Graham "nipped that in the bud." The Democrat arm of our two major political parties has fallen under the spell of Satan's whispers. It is consumed with hate, greed, jealousy, vindictiveness, and evil on a scale never seen before in our country's history, and there is much in our history to be ashamed. Does that mean the Republicans are little angels? Of course not, but they still retain some semblance of conservatism and decency. Do you reader, support abortion, the horrific murder of babies? Do you support homosexuality (God does not)? Are you opposed to the nation Israel, the apple of God's eye? Are you against actually obeying the laws and Constitution of our country? Are you opposed to the true Gospel? Would you rather not protect our country and its citizens? Is it your wish to eliminate anything related to God, specifically Jesus Christ in our schools, and everywhere else in society? Do you prefer, "Happy Holidays" to "Merry Christmas?" Do you believe there are many ways to God? This is only a partial list, but if your response is, "Yes," then please hop on the band wagon with those who prefer to follow any and everything that is contrary to the will of Almighty God. President Donald Trump was not elected to be the pastor or religious leader of this country. He was elected to be our President, a SECULAR position. No, he is not Mr. Perfect, but who is? The President, Congress and Judicial bodies of our government are in place for the benefit of the American people to protect our interest. President Trump is doing his best, and has accomplished much, despite the liberal arm of Congress, the media and Hollywood. There is no way he would have ever been elected or accomplished what he has to date without the help of God. We need to think about that ... real hard. There is much more I could say about this. There are many names that could be mentioned, but I am not writing to sling mud. I am writing to encourage those true Christians who may be still on the fence to look past all the smoke and mirrors and actually listen to what these people are saying and to ask the Lord God to show them the Truth. Jesus said, "... I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6 emphasis mine) The liberals would have you believe they have the truth. They do not. Most everything that comes from them is a lie. "The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left." (Ecclesiastes 10:2) I don't expect you to just take me at my word either, but if we are a child of God, we need to listen to HIM. I pray that God, the one and only true God of the Bible will again bless us with President Trump's re-election. I also pray that our Lord will continue to protect him from harm, and that President Trump will listen to the advice God sends his way. How this man has lived under the strain of 24/7 attacks from every direction is beyond me. We must remember though, we do not pray facing Washington D.C. We pray facing, metaphorically, Heaven. President Trump is only a tool that God can use, but he can use him to bless us if we pray. God gave us a glimpse of true evil in the previous Presidential administration, and we nearly got more of the same in the last Presidential election. For some reason He chose to give us another chance in our current President. If any of the Presidential nominees are elected in the next Presidential election, expect the worse because that is exactly what we will get. The Democrats have nothing to offer but socialism and failure. Christianity Today does not represent me. The impeachment the House just voted on is nothing but a three year witch hunt and sham fueled by satanic hatred. Imagine how much more could have been accomplished by our political leaders if they had not frittered away time and money on their own selfish hatred. Even if both parties came together singing Kumbaya around the campfire while holding hands with President Trump, will that help? The obvious answer is, "No," (but it wouldn't hurt). The only perfect political structure is one ruled totally by God, specifically the Messiah Jesus Christ, called the Millennium (or 1,000 year reign). I close with one request. If you haven't already done so, pray for God's guidance and His will to be done. Then look for the Truth in the Bible. Any true Christian who will consume God's Word will readily see that Satan is having a field day with those who are supposed to be representing the American people. Here is the bottom line: This isn't about politics. It is about spiritual warfare. "And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve." (2 Corinthians 11:14-15) "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." (Ephesians 6:12-13) Grant Phillips Email: [email protected] Pre-Rapture Commentary: http://grant-phillips.blogspot.com Rapture Ready: https://www.raptureready.com/featured/phillips/phillips.html Daily Jot: The Mission as we enter the new year - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com Christ said in Mark 16:15, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." He said in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." This is called the Great Commission. It takes many forms, utilizing the myriad of gifts each has been given under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. As we close out this very difficult year, where those who follow Christ were demonized as bigots, hatemongers and more, let's think about how we make disciples, and what we are up against in "The Mission." In some places, it can be very dangerous. The mission work we do in Ghana, West Africa is both difficult and dangerous. We have documented some of what we are dealing with regarding human trafficking. It's a big problem. It's a problem that is Islamic-based. Not all Muslims are into human trafficking and drug smuggling, but when you look at who we are dealing with in West Africa in the rural areas, it is the Muslim influence. They are aggressors. They steal land and dare the authorities to do something about it. They steal children and often nothing can be done about it. The authorities do not have the resources to fight the traffickers of drugs and humans. When we, as Christians, stand against them, it is with considerable risk. Please understand this. For example, we have heard stories from time to time about the Boko Haram terrorist group nabbing children in Nigeria-right next door to Ghana. Boko Haram is affiliated with the Islamic State. On Christmas Eve, this group came into a village, killed seven people, nabbed a pretty teen girl, and stole food. In 2014, they abducted 276 school girls in the very same area. The Fulani is a tribe also associated with Boko Haram. They operate in the rural areas of Ghana and are often behind the violence, kidnapping and theft of land in areas where the Daily Jot and Redeem West Africa ministry provides food, clean water, clothing and the Word of God to children and their families. The churches in nearby Accra want no part of the dangers we face. The Islamic influence is like a massive organized crime network, and you know what that means. Our latest feeding program of over 250 rural underserved children had a new twist inspired by 13-year-old cowboy Bronc Hibdon of Missouri. We fed children nutritious food, the Word of God, AND educated them on how to avoid being nabbed by the deceptive tricks of a human trafficker. This is a great formula for making disciples. Over 60 children accepted the gift of salvation and who knows how many may have been saved from a life of slavery, sex slavery, or even death from the harvesting of their organs. This is our mission. When you support The Daily Jot, this is how your money is spent, how your prayers are answered, how the Word is preached, how disciples are made, how people are clothed, fed, and loved. It makes a difference. Are you with us? 'Just something to consider as we enter the new year. We want to step it up. Daily Devotion: Winning the Battle of the Mind - by Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.-Philippians 4:8 In the movie Kung Fu Panda 3, Master Shifu makes this statement: "Before the battle of the fist comes the battle of the mind." How true. The spiritual battle we're in starts with the mind. It's command central. We are the air traffic controllers of our minds. Just as an air traffic controller decides what plane flies where at what altitude, we decide what thoughts will come into our minds. The way we're thinking will determine the way we'll be living. We have to start with the thoughts that come into our minds and be very careful about what we let in. As the old adage says, "You can't stop a bird from flying over your head, but you can stop it from building a nest in your hair." In other words, we can't stop whatever random, evil, or strange thoughts that come knocking on the door of our imaginations, but we don't have to invite them in for lunch. I love what the apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4: "Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise" (verse 8 NLT). The Message puts it this way: "Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious-the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse." When those thoughts of fear or worry come to you at three o'clock in the morning, run them through the grid of Philippians 4:8. Say, "This is not from God. This isn't true, and it isn't helpful. I reject this thought, and I'm replacing it with another thought from Scripture." That is how you win the battle of the mind. FROM THE HEART
