On Mar. 21, 2022, White House Press Sec. Jen Psaki said the White House is expecting food shortages in Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, but not the U.S. On Mar. 23, 2022, Glen Beck said, “One-third of the world’s wheat comes from Russia and Ukraine…. The next thing you need to understand is … the supply chain (for food) is 90 days…. If it stops, let’s say for some reason, stop all farming, we would have 90 days left of food worldwide… (because of the price and availability of fertilizer and fuel). Farmers all around the world are not planting their fields.” On Mar. 24, 2022, Pres. Biden said, “The world will experience food shortages as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine…. It’s going to be real.” Bloomberg analyst Alexis Maxwell called it “a slow-moving disaster.” Here are some stories that made the news in recent days. One, concerning famine during the Tribulation Period: on Mar. 25, 2022, Tucker Carlson said on the “Tucker Carlson Tonight” program, “A food shortage is a big deal. You don’t want one. But now we’re getting one, just a little over a year into Joe Biden’s presidency.” Carlson blamed Biden for:
Readers need to recall that some globalists want a global central government to control the world’s food supply and make food distribution more fair. If a global central government gets control of the world’s food supply, there is no guarantee U.S. produced food will remain and be sold in the U.S. Two, on Mar. 24, 2022, Israel’s Transportation Minister, Merav Michaeli, instructed officials to prioritize the unloading of ships bringing in grain and animal feed. Michaeli appears to be following Joseph’s example when he interpreted Pharaoh’s dream and stored food for the seven lean years (Gen. 41). Michaeli said, “We face challenges to our food security at the time being because of the worrying developments in Ukraine,” Three, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Mar. 24, 2022, Russia’s Ambassador to Syria said Israel is “escalating tensions” and “provoking Russia to react” by its strikes on targets in Syria. Four, concerning deceit, here is a link to a four-minute segment of video (dated Mar. 22, 2022) of Pres. Biden telling House Democrats that Russia is to blame for inflation and high oil prices. https://youtu.be/UdysmuailfU What Biden says seems so blatantly wrong, he must be totally corrupt or mentally ill (readers can view him, hear him, and make up their own mind). Five, concerning deceit or a reprobate mind: about one year ago, a female patient was raped at an unnamed British women’s hospital. Despite video showing the rape, staff seeing the video, and other evidence, the hospital administration claimed it was impossible for the patient to be raped because there were no men in the hospital. It took almost a year to get the facts out, but it now turns out that the female patient was raped by a transgender patient (a biological male) that self-identified as a female, and hospital officials wouldn’t admit the facts. This may top Pres. Biden’s promise to nominate a black woman to fill a position on the U.S. Supreme Court, and this woman and mother, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, a Harvard Law School graduate, doesn’t know what a woman is. How can a female that doesn’t know what a woman is graduate with honors from Harvard Law School? How can a female judge that doesn’t know what a woman is properly understand cases involving women’s issues? How can someone (Richard Levine, aka Rachel Levine) be born as a male, marry a woman, live as a male for more than 50 years, father two children, and become USA Today’s “Woman of the Year.” And how can a big-tech company (Twitter) get away with censoring people for saying Richard is a man, not a woman? Who causes people to deliberately repeat lies and try to force others to repeat lies when they surely know better (Satan)? Society has reached the point where the Pres. of the U.S., hospital administrators, Harvard Law School graduates, and people in high places willingly sin (and try to force others to willing sin) by denying plain facts and science, and there is little wonder why the judgment of God will soon fall. Six, concerning an economic collapse or one world currency: on Apr. 1, 2022, Russia started requiring “unfriendly nations” to pay for oil or natural gas with rubles, gold, or bitcoin (no dollars or euros accepted). Putin believes this will eventually be the end of a U.S.-dominated currency system and ultimately lead to a new global currency system. (More: It has been reported that Russia and India are close to an agreement to abandon the dollar and start trading in their own currencies, a step that will allow them to avoid sanctions, weaken the dollar, and impact the global economy.) (Question: Pres. Biden said sanctions don’t work, so if he is not deliberately trying to weaken the dollar and create a crisis to establish a global currency, why is he doing this?) Seven, concerning peace in the Middle East: on Mar. 29, 2022, as part of the Abraham Accords, the U.S., UAE, and Israel signed a document to “expand the circle of peace in the region and the world.” It is not a covenant of peace, but it is an agreement to use the Abraham Accords to “promote religious coexistence and tolerance.” The group hopes to expand its influence to include all of the nations that have signed the Abraham Accords or are thinking about signing the Abraham Accords. This could be a big step toward a “covenant with many.” Eight, last week I wrote that I have been asked if Putin is Gog. I received an e-mail from a reader this morning that said Putin can stay in office until 2036 if he wants, and the word Putin means Prince, as in chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. I believe the Battle of Gog and Magog will be before 2036 (Iran’s efforts to get nuclear weapons could trigger it almost anytime), and (I can’t verify it), but if Putin means Prince as in chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, that is a very strong clue. Finally, are you Rapture Ready? If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). The Bible has very specific prophecies to watch for in the latter days as Jesus' return grows closer. Is this exciting or what! In 132 AD, the Jews bravely took back Jerusalem. But in 135 AD, the Jews were defeated again and Abraham's offspring were scattered around the world for some 1800 years. In 1948, motivated by the Jewish deaths in the German gas chambers during World War II, the Jews took back the land that God had promised them...except the most important piece of land, the Temple Mount on Mount Moriah, which would not be regained until 1967. Today, none of the Bible prophecies would matter if Israel had not returned to her homeland. 2) Huge Worldwide Inflation And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; Rev. 6:6 In the above verse we see it takes an average day's wage, a denarius, just to buy food for a day. And guess who will control who gets the food... What's happening around the world today is not about health, it's not food, it's not energy and it certainly is not about war in Ukraine. The purpose of everything happening is for the Globalists/Satanists to gain more and more control. They want to be your god, like it or not. Once they got President Trump out of the way, by hook or crook, the Globalists/Satanists have been spending trillions of dollars everywhere they can. It is unbelievable how they are spending money. Everyone seems to be getting billions and we just went over $30 trillion in national debt. Biden just sent $11 billion to sweeten the pot for Iran to secure a new treaty.(1) Obama sent Iran his billions in cash in the middle of the night...ostensibly to settle an old American debt. That's the official story. The purpose of all Biden's spending, in addition to lining his friends pockets with side deals, is to ultimately collapse the United States dollar in order to have no other choice but to issue a new digital wallet. Expect them to loudly claim it's the only way to save the nation. But prior to the coming digital wallet, we get to deal with all their inflationary tactics. It's been said that everyone on the planet is only nine meals away from food riots. When the food gets so expensive only a few have the means to afford it, law and order will break down. They're just warming up with the smash and grab at your local jewelers. It'll get to the point just carrying groceries to the car will be dangerous. Rev. 13:16-17 In the not-too-distant future, we know from scripture there will be a one-world currency. The question is when? History records when other countries inflated their paper money so badly to the point it was worthless, government officials simply started over with a new money, called a reset. This reset, this implementation of a new currency, was always done without warning. People just woke up one day and a new currency was in place at the local banks. Usually when this happens, about 80% of the present worth of their cash in banks is confiscated/converted to the new system. All this talk today about getting to a reset is for a global reset, not just a reset in the United States. The Globalists/Satanists want all the currencies of the world rolled into one digital system. A digital reset would, of course, give the Globalists/Satanists complete control of who gets what, and when. Every transaction can be monitored. Just like they froze the bank accounts in Canada of those who donated to the trucker convoy, once the digital system is in place, it won't be long before the Globalists/Satanists can lock you out of the system. And naturally, you have no recourse. For instance, if you don't get va((inated, they could block your monthly Social Security deposit. Maybe they'll let you have half of it for a while to give you some time to think about your decision. And the system is already worldwide...currently Mastercard and Visa just froze all their accounts in Russia. If they can do it to innocent people in Russia and Canada, it means they do it to anyone. Which means they can control ALL buying and selling. This is unlikely to be totally implemented before the Rapture. But it sure is uncomfortable watching this prophecy come together. 4) Russia and Iran as Enemies of Israel “Son of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh" Ezek. 38:2 Persia, Ethiopia and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Ezek. 38:5 Much has been written about the Russia/Iran invasion of Israel. This invasion appears to happen just after the Rapture and is outlined in Ezekiel 38/39. It's safe to say that this is one amazing prophecy that was written roughly 2600 years ago. Rosh/Russia and Persia/Iran are today lining up nicely as enemies of Israel. God says He will put "hooks" in their jaws and pull them into war with Israel... all in His timing. But the point is, Russia and Iran are ready to be hooked! 5) Increase in knowledge “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.” Dan. 12:4 One of the things that God didn't like during the building of the Tower of Babel was that people's knowledge had increased to the point God remarked: "...now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them." Gen. 11:6b The world's one language made it possible for humans to accomplish anything they desired. Satan could easily herd sinful man into elevating sin exponentially. So their language was mixed to slow humans down. Now, 4000 years later, we're back to that same point of sinful humans being able to do anything they want. The Globalists/Satanists have, to date, hacked the DNA of some 5 billion people on the planet. They changed God's design in order to reduce the world's population through premature death. They expect to blend man and machine in the future, so sinful man can live in bliss forever without needing a Savior. I think this Satanic direction qualifies for that prophecy being fulfilled. 6) Worldwide Drug Use and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries Rev. 9:21 Having grown up in the 50s and 60s, I always thought that what the Bible calls "sorcery" (Greek word "Pharmakeia"), meant there would be a lot people hooked on drugs in the last days—like marijuana, heroine, cocaine, meth, etc. And I guess there is a lot of drug use these days. But sorcery/pharmakeia is actually a word connected to the dark side, so we're talking drugs from Satan that change who you are. And as we just saw, some 5 billion humans just took a fake va((ine that they likely will regret having taken. Their God-designed DNA has been permanently altered and/or damaged in this life. Not to mention the first of the four horsemen of the apocalypse at the beginning of the seven-year tribulation (Rev. 6) has drugs in this hand. But I believe the vast treasures of silver and gold from Solomon's era will be found prior to the Ezekiel 38/39 invasion by Russia, Iran, et al. This is the treasure that Israel had 100+ years to hide from the invading Babylonians. In 1948 the list of these dazzling riches was found on a copper scroll, along with other Dead Sea scrolls written on kosher animal skins. The copper scroll lists 16 connecting caves with instructions on how they are linked. But no instructions as to where the first one is located. But when they find one, they'll find them all. This treasure, worth somewhere around $50 trillion today, would be so eye-popping that Russia will move to steal it once the Restrainer is removed at the Rapture. They are actively searching for this treasure today. Russia loses badly when they invade for the gold and silver spoils, but the Antichrist/Satan steals it at the middle of the Tribulation. ‘For behold, days are coming,’ declares the LORD, ‘when I will restore the fortunes of My people Israel and Judah.’ Jer. 30:3 The Bible says when Jesus returns at the end of the Tribulation He will restore the "fortunes" of Israel, which in the Hebrew means restore "the former state of prosperity." It is said that we must keep up with the trends of history, so many major corporations are eager to recognize claims of transgender activists and promoters. It has established the greatest confusion among people that the world has ever seen. The demands of the so-called LBGTQ+ movement are put in first place as if any other response would be worse than death itself. Yet, that part of our population is less than ten percent. Why is this happening? One of the major happenings that signal the approach of the return of Christ for His body of believers is that there will be a “falling away from lawfulness,” and that means people will turn to immorality, injustice, crime, murder, and any other unrighteous activity that evil man can devise. Abortion and the sexual revolution are topping the list, for certain. The Scriptures predict that the falling away will include turning away from God, giving Him no recognition at all, as if He has never existed. In Proverbs 9:10, it says, “The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” The proponents of abortion-at-will claim that what happens at conception results in a mere particle of tissue having no life. Then somehow, mystically, it takes on life with a heartbeat and continues on into a fully developed person to be born and nurtured by its mother. The Bible, however, clearly tells us that God is very present at the time of the conception, in His infinite knowledge, and causes the conception to occur, giving the new person a name and recording it in His book. Here is the Scripture that tells that truth as the psalmist addresses the issue before God: “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them” (Psalm 139:13-16). The real battle is that eternal one between God and Satan. The attack upon God’s highest creation, the creation of mankind in his own image, is reaching a critical but terminal level, for the devil knows his time is short. Abortion has become an industry, most surely indicated by the dark-sided sale of those body parts taken in an abortion. No wonder those people are determined to see abortion approved up to the time of birth! Now also, the gigantic confusion of gender identity and sexuality issues. “No one by taking thought can add one cubit to his height,” Jesus said (Matthew 6:27-KJV). Neither can a person, man or woman, change their gender as they were born by taking thought. It is a deception of the devil to distort the image of God in which he or she was created in the beginning. Satan has taken up the creation of mankind as a battleground to slap God in the face, actually, just as he wanted to do when God allowed him to test Job. You recall that account, where the devil was sure he could cause Job to do as his wife did. She told Job, after he had lost everything but his own life, to “Curse God and die!” But Job had a very deep fear of God that consisted of a recognition of God’s justice. But we see in James 5:11 that God wanted to instill in Job His attributes of compassion and mercifulness. (I take this “rabbit trail” to show that Satan’s wiles are not new, but these of today are hitting God’s highest creation with a stunning blow. And, unfortunately, the world seems to be buying the whole package, even many church leaders, as well as nations.) In a 2018 address to the LBGTQ+, the now current president of the United States spoke with glowing terms of the lifestyles of those who have embraced that immoral deception. More than a few of the large church leaders have succumbed to that evil and ungodly claim of equality with morality and righteousness and are accepting them into their churches as members without restriction. Surprisingly, many of those large congregations are Southern Baptist denominations. It is bringing a crisis to the existence of that body of believers. Where is it headed? The shoulder-shrug that says, “This is not new; this has happened before,” must want to think it will pass without any meaningful intervention by God. I am thinking of judgment. God is not silent on the issues of the gender and sexual revolution. In Romans 1:18-32, His Word makes an awesome declaration of His position on this direction in which the world is fast-moving. It is a word picture of raw carnality in opposition to His very existence: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves, who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up to vile affections, for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful, who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” There is a passage in Luke 17:28-30 that tells us of a coming time when… well, let’s see the passage: “Likewise, as it was in the days of Lot, they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brim-stone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” When you read Genesis 18 and 19, it tells us of the saturation of Sodom with homosexuality involving every male of the city. They all, every one of them, banged on Lot’s door, demanding that he turn out those two “men” (angels) that they might “know them”! You see the result in the Scripture report—the city was destroyed, and every person in it died. God saw the evil of the people and sent the two angels to bring judgment upon them. Note further, however, that this passage speaks of a future time, the time of the return of the Son of Man, Jesus Christ. This cannot be at the time of His Second Coming, for at the time, the judgment of the seven years of tribulation will have closed down almost all activity of “eating and drinking, buying and selling, etc.” At that time, the major concern of any people left on earth will be for survival. Read about it in Revelation chapters 8-19—hardly anything is left intact, having been devastated by the judgments of God. It leaves us with the obvious question for this world that is plunging into the likeness of Sodom with devasting certainty: “Will you repent and accept the forgiveness of Jesus Christ, or continue into a like destiny of the people of Sodom?” The Scripture is clear that “God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). But whoever said it first, it is worth remembering. “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.” Over the last few decades, western civilization has become increasingly disdainful of God and His word. We have abandoned the principles that gave the most people the most opportunity and greatest prosperity in history. Godly principles broke down class and racial barriers. Today, our society has turned away from those good things. And it’s not working. High percentages of people now suffer from mental disorders. More and more die from overdoses, overdrinking, or both. Suicide rates keep climbing. Corruption is growing in both the government and the private sector. Civility is becoming rarer. Violent outbursts happen with increasing regularity and in the strangest places. Children are less disciplined and less happy. I could list more, but you already know them. We reap the whirlwind, then try to fix it by sowing more wind (Hosea 8:7). We sow deceit and reap pain. In response to the pain, we sow even more deceit. And the cycle continues. We try to solve problems by doing the same things that caused the problems, but each time in more extreme ways. We’re making our problems worse by doubling down on the things that created those problems. We have become a violent and angry society. We need to seek God and repent. With the Psalmist, we should humbly ask God, “Teach me the way in which I should walk” (Psalms 143:8 NASB). But instead, this society fills its mouth with cursing, deceit, and fraud (Psalm 10:7). It says to itself, “God has forgotten; He has hidden His face; He will never see it” (Psalm 10:11). As nations and as individuals we must urgently and earnestly turn to God. Psalm 143:10-11 says it well. “Teach me to do Your will…. Let Your good Spirit lead me…. For the sake of Your name, O Lord, revive me. A sitting president, Barack Obama, used this falsified information to convince a secret court to allow the Democrats to spy on Trump’s campaign. All the while, the news media was declaring Trump guilty, and all who defended him were demonized. Now, after tens of millions were spent on investigations and court hearings, it turns out that it was all a lie. Hillary gets a slap on the wrist. No trial. No sentence. Another example is Hunter Biden’s laptop and the involvement of his father in collecting millions from Chinese Communists, Russian oligarchs and Ukrainian interests, compromising the entire presidency. The news media, the CIA, and others said it was a Russian hoax. They censored and demonized anyone who dare say otherwise. Another example is COVID. For the first time in history, government powers quarantined healthy people, mandated behaviors, dictated deadly treatments, and coerced and mandated experimental vaccines. Those in opposition, especially to the “safe and effective” propaganda, backed by myriads of scientific studies and experiential success, were censored, demeaned, lost jobs, were refused services. We are bombarded everyday with lies from news, Hollywood, even religious leaders. Lies have been perpetrated even to convince people that a historically ruthless, warring religion that practices terrorism is a “religion of peace.” If you disagree, you have a phobia. Or that adults talking to minors about sexual deviancy. We used to call that pedophilia. Now it’s a school teacher. If you disagree, you have a phobia. People, you are losing your freedom to lies and to the force of liars. Christ said in John 8:31-32, “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed;And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” This is how you discern the truth: by continuing in the Word of God. A conditioned reflex is something we’ve learned to do. On the other hand, a natural reflex is something we feel immediately without being told that we should feel it. For instance, if I put my hand close to a fire, I’ll immediately pull it back because it’s hot and hurts. That’s a natural reflex. Now let’s apply this to worry. We need to develop a conditioned reflex and get into the habit of turning to God when we feel worried. When trouble comes our way, and it will, our first inclination—our natural reflex, if you will—is to worry. We need to teach ourselves to pray instead. The moment you start to panic, turn your panic into prayer. Turn your worry into worship. Turn to God immediately. That is what the apostle Paul was saying when he wrote, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6 NKJV). We pray about the big things, but let’s not forget about the little things. Little problems can turn into big problems, especially if we neglect them. Maybe you’ve thought, “I can handle this, and it will never be a problem for me.” But then one day you realize it’s a big problem. Little things turn into big things.
