In a previous article ‘After the Rapture’ from November 2019, I mentioned one standout point – what will become of all those unsaved decent people I encounter each day immediately after the Rapture happens? This article will examine the aftermath those decent people will find themselves in after the initial chaos, where a terminal and broken world of perpetual gloom looks to a charismatic leader from Europe for the answers as war, famine, and pestilence erupt.
 
The Covid 19 pandemic (a real and somewhat deadly virus) has been a great tool in ensuring the governments of the world are on a reactionary footing. They are mobilized, aggressive, and have much of the population under their control via vaccines, lockdowns, and fear. Most of the loud overbearing sheep populations are kneeling to the left-leaning political/big Pharma will around mandatory vaccine cards and lockdowns. When the Rapture happens, the governments of the world will be in a much better position than pre-Covid 19 to handle such an event, while the mindless sheep will follow. 
 
In the moments, days, and weeks after the Rapture event, the world will be a confusing mess of civil upheaval, and breakdowns at every conceivable level of public and private service and utilities. All of this will happen while tormented individuals looking for answers to the most perplexing event in human history roam the streets. Of all the places on planet earth circa the 2020s, none will take such a devastating hit as the USA. America is home to the largest proportion of born-again believers, and their removal from every conceivable role in society will be the very thing that undoes her.
 
Most governments of the world should likely mobilize in the weeks after the event. The military would begin securing sources of food – farms, food terminals, grocery stores, - and help local authorities in clearing airports, sea terminals, and highways, and roads of empty vehicles and debris. Power and water would also be key targets to secure. Disruptions, however, would be the norm for people emerging from the confusion.
 
Similar to the Covid 19 response, the governments may initiate staged returns to a new normal in getting the flummoxed masses of people back to their jobs and roles in society – and away from their homes watching TV/internet for the latest answers on what has happened. The Covid 19 predicament of government stages and menacing instruction will prove a very useful conditioning tool in handling the aftermath of the Rapture, as the familiarity of the Covid 19 guidelines will not be lost on the general public/sheep.
 
As society merges back into a shadowy semblance of its former self, a person’s day-to-day life will be harrowing. Just getting to work will be driving through a grim new world of lawlessness, smoke, and panic. Fast food locations will have severely limited menus, grocery stores (looted in the days after the event) would return to a new normal of constant shortages, and most essential services and needs would be disrupted permanently. Not to mention a whole other topic unto itself – that of the day-to-day order the Restrainer formerly controlled.
 
With the removal of Christians I believe the veil will be pulled back and all those ‘things’ on the periphery we so often hear about now – the dark demonic agents behind alien abductions, UFO’s, hauntings, possessions, Bigfoot phenomena, and oddities around missing people (think David Paulides’ very creepy ‘Missing 411’ series) – will be unshackled on the population. Day-to-day life will be – as Chuck Missler once put it – weird!
 
People will demand answers. Enter….the 4 Horsemen.
 
Whether it be the wars or economic collapse or new waves of pandemics, it is most likely that here in North America (and elsewhere) our unsaved friends will meet their end. By the time the 4 Horsemen are done riding 25% of the inhabitants of the earth will have been killed off. That is almost 2 billion people on planet earth and much of the events John and Daniel describe have yet to even begin!
 
The Man of the Hour – the White Horse
 
The Prophet Daniel in Daniel 7:23 states:
 
23 “He gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. 24 The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. 25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.”
 
In the Post-Rapture confusion, it is very easy to see how Europe would immediately align to form a 10 nation power bloc. This union would be needed for both internal reorganization and a face to show her enemies and the world it is ready to move forward. Europe and the world at large will hear of the utter collapse and chaos that America has descended into. It is highly possible that China or Russia will enhance the chaos via further cyber-attacks, EMPs, or other forms of sabotage. Their avowed enemy, the US, already down from the impact of the Rapture, would be a perfect target for further eroding attacks to keep her disabled for good. Europe, seeing no alternative would merge…and fast. It would have a moderately formidable nuclear force of France and the UK’s nuclear arsenal.
 
The new alliance would also have large military manpower, advanced western electronics, a decent modern airforce, and fairly significant manpower. It is also conceivable that some American military assets (aircraft carriers, bombers, and perhaps in the urgency of the situation – a dire need to get America’s more exotic technologies exported to Europe prior to landing in Chinese hands. I strongly think the continental USA will experience surgical strikes and small footprints of foreign troops covertly sabotaging and/or stealing valuable assets/technologies). Russia and the Eastern bloc will also have their own problems with missing people. Paranoia will abound and the age-old east/west tension will ramp up – this will fuel the rapid rise of the West simultaneous to the Russian-led Eastern bloc, which in the haste and power vacuum America has left, could see the events of the Magog War of Ezekiel 38 play out not long after.
 
The answers so many have been waiting to hear will soon be pacified. At first, social media will begin whispering about a charismatic politician within the new Western alliance. He will be a problem solver, a suave diplomat, and a man that likely will have answers for where the millions of people have gone. It is not improbable he has some connection to the New Age alien agenda in explaining why the ‘deplorables’ and ‘undesirables’ have been taken off-world to some sinister fate. It is also highly likely some type of UFO/alien presence reveals itself to the masses.
 
Enter the White Horse….
 
Strange days on Patmos….
 
Poor John. If Daniel had a bad post-prophetic experience in being ill for days and astonished at what he saw from his prophetic dreams, John may have had an even worse time recovering. Circa 96 AD, John was exiled to the island of Patmos for his Christian beliefs by the Roman Empire. Patmos was an island made up of criminals and outcasts of the Roman society – for many, this was the end of the line. Yet….the Good Lord had other ideas for John.
 
In one of the most fascinating stories from the Bible – one very much overlooked due to the attention given on the complexity and symbolism of the book of Revelation – John is ‘time walked' almost two thousand years into the future and shown exactly what would play out in the end-times. I hope the reader gives thought to the raw unimaginable power it takes to i) create Time, ii) control Time and iii) walk through Time….hard to fathom.
 
John encounters mind-bending creatures before the Throne of God - from six-winged, four-faced beasts covered in eyes (The Seraphim), the 24 elders, many angels, a particularly strong angel, the 4 Horsemen of the apocalypse, 4 gigantic angels around the entire Earth, the 7 spirits of the Holy Spirit, the 7 horned and 7 eyed covered Lamb, and the ever-observing God the Father - Yahweh (who watches His Son and His creation action out this grand play as He humbly watches on, all-powerful yet never seeming to show an ounce of His true strength and power. Partly because He doesn’t have to, and partly because of the difficulty in interacting with the flawed state of man). Quick author’s note – what an honor it is to write about Him!
 
One of the first things John witnesses is the opening of the Seal judgments. A Seraphim instructs John to watch the unfolding below them in Revelation 6:1-2
 
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
 
Daniel also speaks about the White Horseman saying he “…by peace shall destroy many” Daniel 8:25.
 
The timing of this seal judgment is hard for me to pin down exactly. Some believe it is within the first 3 ½ years of the Tribulation, while others think it possible immediately after the Rapture in the gap of time prior to the Antichrist’s 7-year treaty signing with Israel. As I have learned over the years, trying to pin down the sequential mechanics of Bible Prophecy is not easy!. I could be wrong, but it seems this Seal is broken prior to the 7-year tribulation.
 
The White Horseman gathers power, a following, and begins conquering through diplomacy but backed with the threat and availability of some serious firepower (hence the bow). Again I could be in error, but this build-up and consolidation of power would eventually establish the White Horseman/Antichrist and then lead to the 7-year treaty signing with Israel. Israel would likely only sign with a well-rooted and established European leader.
 
Now that people have someone they can follow, someone that seems to have the answers and is moving forward in creating order out of the chaos, all hell is about to break loose…again. As the world increasingly follows the White Horseman is a perfect leader for navigating out of very imperfect events, the sounds of 3 other Horsemen loom.
 
As the other Seals are opened, most people we know today will be eagerly awaiting the next move of this booming world leader. With the Seal judgments passing over the darkening world, the man on the white Horse will be looked at to solve the coming world wars, economic collapse, pestilence, and other calamities the Seals unleash. People will have two options…follow this new leader in his global campaign or, listen to whispers from the underground.
 
I strongly feel there will be some forms of underground Christian movements taking shape. Some people will know the Rapture has taken place, they will have previously heard about it from now Raptured Christian family and friends, and even pop culture. Small movements will be calling this new leader out for what he really is …. The man of sin - The Antichrist himself. 
 
Total War – The Red Horse
 
As the hooves of the Red Horse smash into earth, it is very likely all these good but unsaved people we now know and in cases love will see their earthly journey’s end. Rev 6:4
 
And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
 
The Red Horse brings war to the earth. I imagine places around the globe where there is currently a peace or détente to be what John is talking about. Peace in these places will be taken, and wars will erupt all over the globe. Whether it is China invading Taiwan, India, and Pakistan exchanging fire in the Kashmir region, Russia taking former Soviet satellites back in Eastern Europe, Middle East flare-ups, or civil unrest. If peace is taken from the earth, it means every level of society would have conflict – from neighbors to coworkers to mad-max-style gangs fighting for turf and resources. With so many American civilians armed this takes on a whole new level of civil unrest. Inner cities would literally become warzones.
 
Rural areas would seek to protect their assets, land, and resources from those fleeing the big cities – resulting in more conflict. America is the last place you would want to live in post-Rapture. The carnage left by the Rapture will be dwarfed by the World War taking place. It is very likely the alliance of nations the White Horseman has built up by now conquer everyone in its way. The text does not specifically call out who battles whom, just that peace is taken. Instead of two sides as per World War 1 or 2, total war is engulfing the planet.
 
With the world in such a state, the wheels of global trade will crash to a halt.
 
Economic Collapse and Hyperinflation - The Black Horse
 
The Economic Collapse proper (aka the Big One).
 
Since about 2008 when the banking crisis hit Wall Street, analysts have been predicting the ‘big one’ almost daily for the last 13 years or so. They touted the dollar collapse, black swan events, credit freezes, China revealing its actual gold tonnage, hyperinflation, debt defaults, and calamities in the $2 Quadrillion global derivatives markets.
 
However, the remarkable resiliency of the US dollar, the petrodollar system, and the Federal Reserve-backed monetary system as a whole have and continues to remain fairly firmly intact. I would even go as far as to say that even after the Rapture, the US Dollar system will survive in some ways for a short period of time.
 
Cash is king and will be used for a short period by stores and banks. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) may not even have time to implement the Special Drawing Right’s ‘currency’ if the Black Horseman rides close enough to the Rapture. Author Jim Rickards (author of ‘Currency Wars’ and ‘The Death of Money’) has speculated that the next global post-dollar currency system will be based on a basket of the world’s stronger currencies (with some influence by central bank holdings of gold tonnage per member). These would be the Special Drawing Rights (SDR’s) the IMF would control and delegate. If the gap between the Rapture and the final 7 years is of a longer nature (e.g. decades), then it is feasible this SDR system comes into play at some point. If the gap is shorter as most scholars speculate, the SDR system will likely see itself used only in the first 3 ½ year portion of the Tribulation as a kind of digital precursor to the global Beast system to come.
 
John gives a very interesting peek into the economic scarcity of the time (Rev 6:5-6):
 
[5] And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
 [6] And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
 
This indicates a global economic scene of hyperinflation and shortages, yet still depicts a dichotomy of wealth classes. While the scales of wages and what those wages can purchase for the average person are astoundingly different from today’s purchasing power, the text indicates there will still be demand for luxury goods. The wealthy that survive the wars of the Red Horseman will continue to seek out the finer things – which by this point will be of a greater and greater rarity as global manufacturing, agriculture, and transportation will suffer catastrophic obstacles and destruction.
 
Even if vineyards from the Bordeaux region of France remain intact, the methods of transporting these lovely wines will likely have been severely disrupted or all but gone. Imagine a country like the US or China suffering heavy losses from the global war (Red Horse) on its hundreds of commercial shipping ports and the loss of all those traded goods and supplies? This will be a time where if you possess any type of delicacy – fine wines or whiskeys, to imported caviar, rare meats, and seafood – it is likely the last time you will ever enjoy them.
 
In the 2009 movie The Road which starred Vigo Mortensen, he and his son are scavenging for food in a desolate and deserted Mall. The setting for the film is an extremely bleak post-apocalyptic world where there is no future and no hope to be found. The main character by luck finds what may very well be the last dusty can of Coke on earth that he shares with his son. In many developed parts of the world in Revelation 6:5-6, it could really get this bad.
 
The creepy one - The Green Horse
 
I have always felt this final peculiar Horseman as the most disturbing. John now hears a voice instructing him to observe this last Horseman. The Rider is named Death, and Hell/Hades follows him as he rides.
 
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
 
Don Koenig at the Prophetic Years website mentioned that it is possible Death has some type of control over the Underworld (Hell) [1]. It seems like some type of extra portal or perceptibly rapid access to the Gates of Death/Hades is transpiring. From the Psalms, the Book of Job, Matthew, and Revelation, it appears the Underworld is entered into via some type of immense and powerful gate. The Green Horse seems to have the power to pull the very open Gates of Hades behind him, rapidly collecting as many of the dead souls as possible from war, famine, pestilence, and animals.
 
Yet, how would this differ from any other mass death event now or in the past? As most deaths are of unsaved people now and historically, what is the point of this passage as they would descend upon death to Hades anyway? It could be that something unusual may be happening and perhaps very visual to the world.
 
Another oddity is the mention of the state of animals. Again, there is a distortion here. Since the Fall of Man, animals of the domesticated sort have with effort, been subservient, pliant, and fearful, yet most wild animals are generally alarmed and uninvolved at our presence. The text from John, however, mentions deaths occurring from the beasts of the earth. Whatever fear of man they previously possessed is now replaced with a fearless feral mentality.
 
Would house pets now begin attacking their owners huddled in their homes together from the Red and Black Horsemen? Would harmless birds and squirrels now attack with a new violent nature? The comfort and love animals have always brought humans would now completely reverse – another sad point to a life absent from God and all of His comforting gifts via nature...now removed.
 
When these 4 Horsemen finally leave earth to whatever interesting cosmic fate the Lord has for them, 25% of Earths’ inhabitants will be dead, and most survivors will be suffering in near despair for help. The world will be catastrophically altered. Despite this, if any of those familiar day-to-day unsaved people we see each day survive, they still have the remaining seal judgments, the authority of the 2 witnesses and their destructive power over any adversarial people or nation for 3 ½ years, the 7 Trumpet judgments and 7 Bowl judgments to contend with.
 
To conclude and perhaps a FINAL WARNING to the non-believers. A day is fast approaching when people are going to vanish in a split second possibly before you’re very eyes. You will see a heap of clothing, shoes, precious iPhones, cash, bank cards, purses, dental fillings, pacemakers, and other accessories like watches, rings, and bracelets crumple before you. Remember this article and the many superior articles (before being stripped off of the web) by champions of modern-day eschatology like Pete Garcia, Randy Nettles, Don Koenig, Ron Ferguson, T.W. Tramm, and many others and remember these words of John (3:16):
 
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
 
The Rapture of the Church will have happened, and the times you see yourself in have radically changed from before, but understand one thing and one thing only – you can be saved, - you can be pulled into the very breast of God the Father and recline at His table, you can escape eternal damnation, and you can have life….life in abundance that will never end or see sadness or tears or lost innocence or pain. You WILL go through temporary hardship on earth, but it is incredibly fleeting and will not last. For those on this side of the Rapture, I beg you to question deep within yourselves if this seems truthful.
 
I take full duty among friends, family, strangers, and others, in looking ridiculous and a fool in asking such a foreign thing to the unbeliever. However, it is the Truth, and I feel like the warnings of a nothing and a sinner like myself - but a blood-bought one in Christ - is coming to an end… and soon. I have far too many friends and family in the ever-growing Laodicean churches believing in the tepid ‘Jesus supports all things’ woke/liberal topics of the day – they need to dust off their Bibles if they could find them.
 
This major paradigm shift in history may yet be a few years off…. or not, but I believe the Rapture of Christ’s children is just about here.

The nation of Afghanistan has fallen to the Taliban at a pace that has many western leaders scratching their heads in wonderment. A couple of weeks ago, the State Department was warning that Kabul could fall within 6 months. A few days later, the date was switched to 90 days. After it was revised to 72 hours, the downfall of Kabul only took 8 hours.
 
President Ashraf Ghani greeted a Taliban delegation at the presidential palace after signing an agreement to resign and transfer power to the Taliban. According to the Russian embassy, he then fled the country with four vehicles and a helicopter full of cash.
 
The Afghanistan military had a force of over 300,000, with an annual budget of $3-4 billion, equipped with Humvees, Mobile Strike Force Vehicles, helicopters, A-29 fighters, and advanced weapons. It crumbled to the Taliban’s lightly armed forces of 75,000 men.
 
As Afghan cities were falling like dominoes, the Pentagon was singing the praises of the Afghanistan military. “They have an air force, a capable air force,” something the Taliban does not have, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said. “They have modern equipment. They have the benefit of the training that we have provided for the last 20 years. It’s time now to use those advantages.”
 
The downfall of Afghanistan reminds me of when ISIS militants took control of the city of Mosul in June of 2014. It only required 300 fighters to capture a city of 2.5 million people. During their three-year reign, ISIS committed many atrocities. By the time the Iraqi military liberated Mosul, large areas of the city were completely destroyed.
 
In both cases, Islam is the cause of the defeat. When you have a demonically controlled people fight against another group of demonically controlled people, you will see the outcomes that often defy simple logic.
 
Islam doesn’t even work well in oil-rich nations. I recently watched the video that pointed how much the United Arab Emirates is a mess. The Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest building, and it’s not linked up to a sewage system. Each morning, 30 tanker trucks line up to pump out tons of human waste. Hundreds of homes that were built on fake islands are all slowly sinking into the Persian Gulf.
 
The workers in UAE are mostly the equivalent of slave labor. The people with the money are rich because they get welfare from the government. So when the oil runs out, the whole system will collapse. The old joke about when the oil runs out, sand will be the only export is not even true. The sand in the Middle East is too dirty to be of any use.
 
I have a non-Muslim example of how demonic influence destroys a nation. The people of Haiti follow a version of Roman Catholicism that is infused with voodoo rituals and beliefs. Haiti was founded by a large portion of the population pledging their allegiance to Satan for independence from France. This pact with the devil is the only way I can explain why this nation is the poorest nation in the Western world.
 
The Biden administration has had to face criticism and anger over the scale of just how fast things have deteriorated. Many of the images coming out of Kabul look very familiar to the fall of Saigon. Biden made America look bad by our military leaving the country with its tail between its legs. Every President going back to President Bush deserves some blame for staying in this hell hole.
 
It was foolish for us to think we could bring stability, security, and ultimately, prosperity to the people of Afghanistan. We invaded the country because we thought it was the headquarters of the group that carried out the 9/11 attack. It turned out most of them came from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
 
We only lost about 2,500 soldiers in the war, but we have taken on huge financial burdens. We have thousands of people who received injuries that will lead to medical bills of $1 trillion over their lifetime. Since we spent an average of $100 billion per year on the Afghanistan war, that amounts to $2 trillion. If you add up the compounding interest on the debt for 20 years, our total bill for this Afghanistan folly will be around $4 trillion.
 
The Bible proves itself time and time again that scripture is the only way to understand world events. Secular planners thought they could turn Afghanistan into a productive democracy. I doubt they admit their error, but it’s clear to me that they were wrong.
 
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

These days, it is a surprise when someone actually does something competently. It is often said that if you want something done right you have got to do it yourself, and today that is more true than ever. Just think about it. How often have you had a delivery delayed or messed up? How often have you had someone supposedly “fix” something but it isn’t actually fixed? How often have you purchased something that breaks shortly thereafter? And don’t even get me started on the complete and utter incompetence that we see in the tech industry. How hard could it possibly be to release a piece of software that is not riddled with all sorts of nightmarish bugs that need to be “patched” as soon as possible?
 
Sadly, in our upside down society some of the most incompetent people that you can imagine end up running entire organizations, and if you are particularly corrupt and useless you may get to be a politician.
 
By now, you are probably thinking that I am going to talk about Joe Biden in this article, and you are right.
 
In this era of extreme incompetence, it somehow seems appropriate that sleepy Joe is presiding over our “idiocracy”.
 
Barack Obama knew that this could happen. According to Politico, he once said that nobody should “underestimate Joe’s ability to **** things up”.
 
Everything that Biden touches seems to turn into a failure. Just look at the crisis on the border. It is the worst that it has ever been in our entire history, and we are being told that “morale is in the toilet” among our Border Patrol agents…
 
“Morale is in the toilet,” Jon Anfinsen, a spokesman for the Border Patrol’s union, told the Washington Examiner. “Morale is low because agents aren’t allowed to do their job — if our job is to be out patrolling the border in between the ports of entry and actively searching for people who have crossed illegally, but we’re not allowed to go do that job, it basically creates this defeated feeling in everyone.”
 
Thanks to Biden’s wonderful new policies, our Border Patrol agents have their hands tied and are not able to do their jobs, and as a result many of them show up to work “sort of downtrodden, almost dead inside”…
 
“Everyone shows up to work sort of downtrodden, almost dead inside, for lack of a better term,” Anfinsen stated. “They’re not allowed to [do] the job, and they know that people are getting away every single day, every hour.”
 
Of course it isn’t just on the border where Biden is completely and utterly failing.
 
He is doing such a “great job” with the economy that the term “Bidenflation” has been coined less than a year into his presidency.
 
And his response to the COVID pandemic has been a nightmare of historic proportions. If I were to tell you how I really feel about the decisions that he has been making during this pandemic, I would get censored into oblivion by the social media companies.
 
Right now, what everyone is talking about is how incompetent the Biden administration has been in handling the situation in Afghanistan.
 
The fall of Saigon in 1975 and the Iranian hostage crisis during the Carter administration both made America look really weak, but we have never seen anything like the debacle at the airport in Kabul.
 
The “terrorists” that we went it to destroy in 2001 now have us surrounded and cornered in half an airport, and there are still countless numbers of people that can’t get to the evacuation planes.
 
In fact, staff members that worked at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul feel like they have been completely betrayed by our government at this point…
 
Local staff members at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul are “deeply disheartened” by U.S. evacuation efforts and have expressed a sense of betrayal and distrust in the U.S. government, according to a State Department diplomatic cable obtained by NBC News.
 
The cable, which was sent Saturday, said memos were sent Wednesday inviting Afghan staff members at the embassy to head to Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul. It told them to take food and to prepare for difficult conditions.
 
When staffers went to the airport in response to that cable, they quickly found themselves in the middle of a nightmare…
 
Staffers reported being jostled, hit, spat on and cursed at by Taliban fighters at checkpoints near the airport, it said, adding that criminals were taking advantage of the chaos while the U.S. military tried to maintain order “in an extremely physical situation.”
 
Some staff members reported that they were almost separated from their children, while others collapsed in a crush of people and had to be taken to hospitals with injuries, the cable said. Others said they had collapsed on the road because of heat exhaustion, it said.
 
British forces have been leaving the airport and bringing back people that need to be evacuated, but for some reason the U.S. hasn’t done the same thing.
 
There are still thousands of Americans inside the country, and time is running out, because the Taliban won’t move the August 31 deadline…
 
The White House repeatedly refused to address the Taliban’s August 31 deadline to get US troops out of Afghanistan on Monday, dodging questions on the subject and snapping at reporters who asked how the government planned to save the remaining Americans stuck in Kabul.
 
The Taliban’s spokesman issued the sternest threat yet to Biden on Monday morning, saying there will be ‘consequences’ if US troops – who are holed up at the airport in Kabul evacuating tens of thousands of people and fending off an increasingly desperate crowd – don’t leave in the next eight days.
 
Biden should immediately resign, but he will never do that.
 
Of course there are others that also should share in the blame.
 
Just like much of the rest of our society, the brass at the Pentagon has been getting increasingly incompetent over the years, but up until recently it hasn’t been talked about too much.
 
But now that our failures in Afghanistan have been exposed for the whole world to see, the mainstream media is having a field day mocking them. For example, the following comes from the New York Post…
 
To the surprise of only the Biden administration and its top brass, the Taliban retook control of Afghanistan last week after 20 years of frivolous American adventurism. It was a spectacular failure of American diplomacy, statecraft, intelligence and, most of all, military capability. In short, mission very much not accomplished.
 
But that’s pretty much standard operating procedure for the nearly useless behemoth called the Pentagon, which hasn’t won a war since the kinder, gentler American government changed its name from the War Department to the Defense Department shortly after World War II.
 
So why don’t any of our top military officials ever get fired?

Is the head coach always the problem with a bad NFL team? Obviously not. But a head coach is the highly-compensated captain of a $200 million operation, and his job is to win. Coaches who don’t win get fired, because being a perpetual, complacent loser is unacceptable.
 
The ongoing collapse of the U.S.-backed regime in Afghanistan is the geopolitical equivalent of an NFL team going 0-16 twenty seasons in a row. Perhaps it’s worse than that, in fact. The Afghanistan disaster is the equivalent of an NFL All-Pro team taking on a Division III liberal arts college, being shut out, and then crashing the team bus into a ditch.
 
If we were to start holding military officials accountable for their performance, firing Mark Milley would be a really good start.
 
I have absolutely no idea how someone like that got to be the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Personally, I would not even trust him to mop the floors of the local Dairy Queen.
 
What is even more tragic is that millions upon millions of Americans unquestionably accept whatever our incompetent leaders tell them to believe without taking the time and effort to think for themselves and come to their own conclusions.
 
The blind are truly leading the blind, and we are steamrolling down a highway that doesn’t lead anywhere good.
 
Every great society throughout history has crumbled eventually, and now our society is crumbling too.
 
I suppose that it was probably inevitable, but do we really have to look so completely and utterly incompetent in the process?

From 2 Timothy 4:3-4; “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears, they will accumulate teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” (all emphasis mine)
 
“Religion” is thriving, and some mega-churches are filled to capacity during regular “services.” The biggest issue is that true Bible teaching is getting hard to find. For some of these churches, the Sunday after the Rapture will not see any change in attendance. They’ll still be putting on light shows, have heart-thumping music, and be giving “ear-tickling” messages for those itching ears. However, Jesus will be conveniently left out. The newer generation doesn’t want to be told they are sinners in need of a Savior but that their earthly lifestyle is just fine.
 
The one to three hours a week “Christians” are content to be present and support their organized evangelical churches; just don’t expect anything else the rest of the week. Besides, all religions worship the same god, and Jesus was a good person, but not really necessary for us to go to heaven – right? The need here is to read John 14:6.
 
While true believers’ numbers are declining in America, the places that are seeing increases are in countries that persecute and martyr Christians. Iran, China, North Korea, parts of Africa and other Middle East nations are a few that seek out anyone who calls on Jesus to be their Savior. There have been reports of people being given a chance to renounce Jesus and turn back to the religion of that area, yet many choose death rather than change.
 
Several countries around the world today are making it a crime for anyone to speak out against lifestyles that God calls abominations. Canada is one of these countries where there are pastors and educators facing prison for calling the “alphabet” lifestyles sinful. Cases of arrests are also being reported in Europe and Scandinavia, and America is just a breath away from this same action.
 
Luke 21:16:17; “You will be delivered up, even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death. You will be hated by all for My name’s sake.”
 
Matthew 24:10-13; “And then many will fall away and betray one another, and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”
 
Next, Paul’s prophecy about the end of this age in 2 Timothy 3:1-5: “But understand this, that in the last days will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.”
 
The last line is good advice, but how is one to avoid such people when they are all around and growing daily in number?
 
In 2 Peter 2:1-3, “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them, the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed, they will exploit you with their false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.”
 
Going to 1 John 2:15-17, “Do not love the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and the pride of life – is not from the Father, but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires; but whoever does the will of God abides forever.”
 
Continuing to 1 John 2:18-19, “Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore, we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out that it might become plain they all are not of us.”
 
The antichrists and false prophets that have been around since the time of John’s writings are not the ultimate evil ones of Daniel and Revelation. All that have come, and all that are here now, are a prelude to the era of the 7-year Wrath/Tribulation.
 
The ultimate antichrist and false prophet most likely are alive today. They may or may not know the role that they are about to play, but they are in Satan’s grip. However, 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 explains why the beast hasn’t come forth yet. “And you know what is restraining him now, so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only He who now restrains it will do so until He is out of the way.”
 
All true believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. For the antichrist to appear, that influence will be removed; and in doing so, the Rapture has to occur first to keep God’s promise to keep us from that coming wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10; Revelation 3:10).
 
Anyone who truly focuses on the world today should be able to see that all the signs are here right now. There have always been evil people and unspeakable, horrible deeds that have been done, but the sheer magnitude today of satanic activity is overwhelming.
 
Our government, along with the liberal faux news media, are “programming” people to follow whatever they say without question, and sadly, they are gaining a majority of followers. The new world order is rapidly coming together, and eventually, there will be a one-world government just as God said there would be. Prior to this, there will be a coalition that will attack Israel (Ezekiel 38), believing that they will be able to plunder the wealth which that small nation has.
 
Jesus said there would be wars and rumors of wars near the end of the age. We are seeing a lot of “saber-rattling” from the coalition of Russia, Iran and Turkey that formed just within the last decade. Ezekiel 38:4 states that God will “put hooks into your jaws” and convince them to attack Israel. The “hook” would be the massive gas and oil deposits that Israel has, as all three members of the coalition are financially strapped.
 
Nothing that is taking place today surprises our Heavenly Father. All prophecy leading up to these times has been fulfilled with 100% accuracy. Why would anyone think this would be any different?
 
Knowing what the Bible says about end-time events, one might think this would be warning enough to possibly change the outcome. However, 1 Corinthians 1:18 says, “For the word of the Cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.”
 
Also, 2 Thessalonians 2:11, “Therefore, God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false.” I believe that delusion has already started.
 
The best scenario of all this is Luke 21:28, where Jesus tells us to look up when all this starts to take place because our redemption is near. All who have truly received and accepted Jesus as their Savior will not be here for the worst 7-year period of time this world has ever seen.
 
The mechanics (ABCs) of redemption are found in Romans 10:9-13, which ends by saying that “All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” God will force no one to accept His Son, but He will not turn anyone away who truly calls on Jesus. The event known as the Rapture could take place at any moment of any day now.
 
No one has sinned so greatly that they cannot be forgiven. The absolute unforgivable sin is to take your last breath on this earth without having Jesus as your Savior. All He asks is that you acknowledge you have sinned and ask His forgiveness; He has already paid in full the price God requires – a pure, sinless blood sacrifice. Then, have the faith that God raised Him from the dead to conquer sin and death for us. When you call on Him, the Holy Spirit will come and reside in you until you are with Jesus, either by death or by Rapture.
 
Call on Him today, right now, and you will be assured of an eternal home with Him in paradise. It will be the best decision you will have ever made.

The FDA approved the Pfizer COVID-19 jab for those 16 and older. Now to be known as Comirnaty, the FDA says the shot proved effective in a clinical trial of some 44,000 people. FDA’s acting commissioner Dr. Janet Woodcock, stated, “As the first FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccine, the public can be very confident that this vaccine meets the high standards for safety, effectiveness, and manufacturing quality the FDA requires of an approved product. While millions of people have already safely received COVID-19 vaccines, we recognize that for some, the FDA approval of a vaccine may now instill additional confidence to get vaccinated.” That confidence may signal mandates, according to the US Surgeon General.
 
US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy told “Fox News Sunday” that moving the Pfizer vaccine from “emergency” to “full approval” would make mandates more appealing. He said there are universities and businesses that have been considering putting in vaccine requirements in order to create a safer workplace and learning environment. He said, “I think this announcement from the FDA would likely encourage them and make them feel more comfortable in putting some requirements in place.” Public health officials are agreeing with the FDA that the benefits of the newly-approved Comirnaty drug far outweigh the risks. But these same officials along with the media ridicule and censor those who disagree.
 
FDA warnings and precautions included: increased risks of myocarditis and pericarditis, particularly within 7 days following the second dose. The observed risk is higher among males under 40 years of age than among females and older males. The observed risk is highest in males 12 through 17 years of age. Information is not yet available about potential long- term sequelae. The most commonly reported adverse reactions were pain at the injection site, fatigue, headache, muscle pain, chills, joint pain, fever and injection site swelling. Available data on COMIRNATY administered to pregnant women are insufficient to inform vaccine-associated risks in pregnancy. There is NO mention of death risk in the 20-page FDA document.
 
The FDA does not address the efficacy of the vaccine dropping precipitously after a few weeks. Bloomberg reported Sunday: “Vaccinated people appear to be getting the coronavirus at a surprisingly high rate. But exactly how often isn’t clear, nor is it certain how likely they are to spread the virus to others…there’s growing concern that vaccinated people may be more vulnerable to serious illness than previously thought… Tom Frieden, a former director of CDC and the head of the nonprofit Resolve to Save Lives, responded: “We have to be humble about what we do know and what we don’t know.” But that is just the problem—Scientists and Politicians alike don’t seem humble enough to follow the science that is right before their eyes. Christ said in Matthew 24:4, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” It may mean life or death.

Before I was a Christian, I always had an interest in Jesus Christ. He fascinated me. I knew that He existed at one time, but I never thought of Him as someone that I could enter into a relationship with.
 
I learned some things about Jesus by looking at religious art. For example, I learned that He often walked around carrying a lamb, and sometimes He carried a staff as well.
 
But pretty much everything I learned about Jesus came from movies. However, there was a part of His story that I didn’t like: the ending. In fact, I wondered why no one had ever made a movie about Jesus that ended differently.
 
I didn’t like the fact that He died on the cross. I wanted to edit out that part of the story. It made no sense to me at that time. And it wasn’t until I became a Christian that I realized it was all about that part of the story. It was all about the cross.
 
Actually, that was the Lord’s purpose and plan from the very beginning. Revelation 13:8 tells us that He was “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (NKJV).
 
The birth of Jesus took place so there would be the death and resurrection of Jesus. His death on the cross wasn’t an afterthought on the part of God the Father.
 
Before there was a solar system, before there was a planet called Earth and a garden called Eden, before there was a man named Adam and a woman named Eve, before sin entered the human race, a decision was made in the councils of eternity. God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit decided that the Son would come to Earth on a rescue mission.
 
That is why the cross is so important to us as Christians. There is power in the message of the cross.
