What's the difference?
 
Immediately after the world-astonishing Rapture of the Church, with the Holy Spirit no longer present restraining wholesale evil, Russia, Iran and several other nations will invade Israel seeking to capture her gold and silver riches. (1)
 
This massive invasion using nuclear weapons (2) will rock the world. With the entire planet watching, God will use this occasion to show things have hugely changed, a new dispensation has begun, and now Israel will once again be His primary world-focus.
 
“You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great assembly and a mighty army; and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall come about in the last days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I am sanctified through you before their eyes, O Gog.” Ezek. 38:15-16
 
God Himself will repel the multi-nation onslaught against Israel. He's been relatively quiet for some 2000 years, no huge visible miracles have occurred like the "parting of the Red Sea."
 
But now the world will be dumbfounded, seeing first-hand that He's again actively protecting Israel.
 
“I will magnify Myself, sanctify Myself, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the LORD.”’ Ezek. 38:23
 
Since becoming a nation again in 1948, Israel has always been somewhat militarily restrained by the United States, who promised she'd be protected.
 
But with the Rapture having decimated both the political and military forces in the U.S. due to the massive humanity exodus, Israel will be left standing alone.
 
On the heels of this momentous victory and figuring this was her opportunity to take out the rest of her surrounding enemies for a very long time, Israel will begin to systematically destroy them, one by one.
 
“In that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot among pieces of wood and a flaming torch among sheaves, so they will consume on the right hand and on the left all the surrounding peoples, while the inhabitants of Jerusalem again dwell on their own sites in Jerusalem. Zech. 12:6
 
The powerless Arab nations will scream bloody murder for any kind of help as they are no match for Israel's military might. Israel will be on a military roll.
 
A New World Leader Emerges
 
It's at this point in time, seemingly out of nowhere, a man who is brilliant and a military genius will burst onto the world scene.
 
Seizing the moment, this man will somehow be able to coax Israel into making a 7-year peace treaty(3) with 10 nations—five European and five Middle East (see inset image from Daniel 2).
 
This fast-talking man will give Israel whatever she wants to stop the carnage.
 
Israel, being re-energized by God Himself repelling the multi-nation invasion, will negotiate the right to rebuild her beloved Temple so she can return to blood sacrifices on Mount Moriah.
 
Then Israel will get another ego boost as Elijah shows up as prophesied in Malachi 4:5. 2900 years earlier Elijah had been whisked away in basically a UFO (unidentified flying object).
 
John also will show up with Elijah (4), and they will measure out where the Temple is to be built on the Temple Mount—which was due west of the ancient location of the Eastern Gate.
 
Then there was given me [John] a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, “Get up and measure the temple of God and the altar, and those who worship in it. Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months." Rev. 11:1-2
 
The Jewish Temple building location laid out by Elijah and John will leave the Dome of the Rock and the two mosques in place to the south and room for the Pope to build a Christian church to the north.
 
The three top religions in the world could then be located on the top of Mount Moriah.
 
Plus, Israel making a treaty with her pagan enemies was not what the Lord had in mind either. He prefers conquering God-less nations, not throwing them a lifeline.
 
“You shall make no covenant with [your enemies] Ex. 23:32
 
But Israel was not framing this situation Biblically and the decision will come back to haunt her.
 
Not being able to offer sacrifices for their sins for almost 2000 years, the Jews will immediately begin planning to make their sacrifices even before the Temple itself is completed.
 
Blood sacrifices will horrify the rest of the world, but that will all have been agreed to in the 7-year peace treaty.
 
The agreement put in place by the New World Leader will be a masterpiece. His true intentions will be hidden and quite evil—he will actually be just acquiescing to buy time.
 
But Israel will buy the lie and the world will wildly celebrate the peace treaty because certainly World War III will have been avoided.
 
This is where Revelation 6 picks up...the first of the four horsemen—our New World Leader will come riding in like a knight in shining armor.(5)
 
While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. 1Th. 5:3
 
This will be the beginning of birth pangs, getting worse and worse for Israel and the world. Over the next 3 1/2 years, 50% of the earth will die to famine and disease.
 
I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence ... Rev. 6:8
 
And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they would kill a third of mankind. Rev. 9:15
 
Needless to say, by the middle of the Tribulation, it's a miserable time to be alive. The New World Leader has to blame someone and, true to form, Israel will be the scapegoat.
 
With more and more of the UN blue-helmeted troops stationed in Israel, purportedly for Israel's 7-year treaty protection, he will secretly and deceptively organize his army for a surprise strike.
 
After he has arrived in Jerusalem to watch first-hand his plan unfold, he will die of a head wound. The Bible doesn't tell us exactly how he's killed, but he will be left with one eye and a withered right arm.
 
I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, Rev. 13:3a
 
“Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock! A sword will be on his arm and on his right eye! His arm will be totally withered and his right eye will be blind.” Zech. 11:17
 
The Anti-Christ
 
The world is shocked at the death of their leader. It's at this time that Satan's thrown from heaven to earth with the other fallen angels and join the worst of the demons that had been released from the bottomless pit.
 
And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Rev. 12:9
 
He opened the bottomless pit, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit. Rev. 9:2
 
Since Satan is an angel, a spirit, he needs a body to indwell. So on the third day after the death of the New World Leader, Satan takes over the body, bringing it back to life.
 
...and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; Rev. 13:3b
 
Now that Satan has a body in which to live, He boldly claims/lies that Jesus was not the Messiah. He claims he alone is God's Messiah/Redeemer. His proof is the fact he rose from the dead on the third day.
 
From this time onward he is no longer the New World Leader, rather, he is the Anti-Christ, or false-Christ.
 
The first thing he does is kill the two Jewish witnesses, John and Elijah. They had been causing a lot of the pain and suffering by stopping the world's rain and calling fire down from heaven on the people of earth. So the people of earth celebrate their death!
 
 When they [The 2 witnesses] have finished their testimony, the beast [Satan] that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city...where also their Lord was crucified. Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. Rev. 11:7-10
 
But the world's celebration was premature. By not burying the two men, the world sees them come alive, stand on their feet and slowly rise into the clouds above.
 
But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them. And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” Then they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched them. Rev. 11:11-12
 
Undeterred, the Anti-Christ (Satan in human form) marches down to the new Jewish Temple. The Jews watch closely, knowing if he blasphemes in the Temple, God will strike him dead.
 
He immediately stops the sacrifices. Then he not only goes into the Temple, he also marches behind the curtain, into the Holy of Holies where no one but the Jewish High Priest is allowed to go once a year on the Day of Atonement.
 
Once there, with the cameras rolling, he raises his fist and proclaims, "I am God!"
 
This fulfills these verses written to the Jews:
 
“Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things out that are in his house. Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath. For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. Matt. 24:15-21
 
“Forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation. Dan. 11:31
 
So begins the last half of the Tribulation when Satan gets 3 1/2 years as the self-proclaimed Messiah. It doesn't go well.
 
In 30 AD, Jesus spent 3 1/2 years on earth healing people. Satan will also get 3 1/2 years on earth, but he'll be killing people.
 
Satan's reign ends with Jesus' 2nd Coming, but the entire world will have been mostly destroyed. Most people will have died.
 
Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live in it are held guilty. Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left. Is. 24:6
 
Quite a contrast between the work of Jesus and Satan on earth.
 
So there you have the difference between the New World Leader and the Anti-Christ. In the first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation, it's the all-human New World Leader. In the second 3 1/2 years, it's the Anti-Christ—Satan in a human body.
 
And by the grace of God, we'll miss all of it!

Blinking from all sides over the last few weeks and even days has started to reshape the geopolitics surrounding the issue of the Iran nuclear deal talks.
 
In the ongoing nuclear standoff involving the US and Iran – with Israel and the moderate Sunni Arab states the most actively interested parties on the sidelines – everyone has now blinked.
 
Where that means the nuclear standoff will go next is less certain.
 
The US blinked first.
 
Israeli intelligence sources have explained that when Washington saw that Ebrahim Raisi would be elected president, it softened some of its redlines, hoping to wrap up a deal before he came on.
 
These softened positions included showing a willingness to allow the Islamic Republic place its advanced centrifuges - which could allow it to produce a material for a nuclear bomb at a faster rate - in storage as opposed to the original demand that almost all be destroyed.
 
Incidentally, under the 2015 JCPOA Iran nuclear deal, Tehran was allowed to retain a very limited number of its advanced centrifuges, compared to the now hundreds it has operating.
 
Further, the Biden administration reportedly showed some additional flexibility on which sanctions it would remove as part of a return to the JCPOA.
 
These pre-Raisi concessions are part of what may have encouraged the new Iranian leader to seek more concessions by stalling he negotiations for four months and barreling forward with 60% enrichment – only one step down from the 90% needed for weapons-grade uranium.
 
Iran blinked next.
 
Last week, the Islamic Republic agreed to renew talks with the IAEA over nuclear inspections and allowed the agency initial access to some of its nuclear observation equipment after months of being locked out.
 
Notably, some of the equipment was reported as damaged and the IAEA gave its first details about the damage.
 
The IAEA did not reveal whether the damage to its cameras was caused by the June attack on Iran's Karaj nuclear facility (attributed to Israel) and whether its conclusion was based on Iranian reports or it had independently confirmed the cause of the damage.
 
This is an important question since it raises suspicions that the Iranians tampered with IAEA equipment over the last few months to hide certain activities – though it is noteworthy that Israeli officials have not denied involvement in the Karaj attack.
 
One could argue that Iran did not blink so much as it finally started to cash in on the new conciliatory approach in Washington.
 
But blinking is still blinking and the Islamic Republic has not yet received the major concession it has sought - a full lifting of sanctions by the US before a return to the JCPOA.
 
Under the deal, Iran would need to give up all of its uranium enriched to 60% and 20% and most of what has been enriched to 5% before sanctions are lifted.
 
Israel also seemed to blink in pre-Yom Kippur interviews.
 
Defense Minister Benny Gantz became the first senior Israeli official to publicly reduce opposition to an American return to the JCPOA.
 
Until now Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Gantz and all other Israeli officials were publicly opposed to the deal.
 
If there was a difference between the Netanyahu and Bennett approaches, it was in style: Netanyahu wanted to make the fight with the US over Iran a constant source of friction to win political points with portions of the American and Israeli electorate and possibly to intimidate Iran.
 
Bennett has tried to win back support for Israel in the Democratic party which reached historically-low levels under Netanyahu and after he publicly attacked Barack Obama with a speech before the US Congress in 2015.
 
Gantz's statement crossed a new line.
 
It came only a day after Foreign Minister Yair Lapid played down Iran's achievement of getting to a point of being only one month from sufficient uranium for a nuclear weapon.
 
Lapid said out loud what only Israeli critics, nuclear scientists and sometimes IDF officials were saying quietly when Israeli politicians rattled their sabers about how close Iran was to a nuclear weapon.
 
He explained that even if the Islamic Republic gets to the point where it has enough uranium, it would still be more than a few months away from being able to deliver a nuclear weapon.
 
In fact, even hawkish nuclear experts and (non-political) Israeli intelligence officials have said for some time that the fastest Iran could develop a nuclear weapon after it had sufficient weaponized uranium would be six months.
 
IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kohavi and multiple IDF intelligence officials have put the number at closer to two years.
 
The disparity primarily derives from how much Iran has accomplished clandestinely in the areas of detonation and ballistic missile development since the 2003 era (an era which Israel knows a lot about after the Mossad seized Iran's nuclear archives) and what activities Tehran might or might not be physically and financially capable of undertaking in parallel.
 
But saying this out loud, Lapid reduced the urgency that Israel has placed on Iran's pressing forward to a nuclear bomb.
 
Lapid could be trying to ease pressure on the US to rush back into a deal under the argument that if Iran is not that close to building a bomb, then the US can wait for a "better" deal.
 
But taken along with Gantz's statement, it seems that at least some members of the current Israeli government are ready to swallow a US return to the JCPOA provided they get guarantees of economic sanctions snapping back in the event of a violation and assurances from the US that it would not resist Israeli plans to attack Iranian nuclear facilities in the future if necessary.
 
Will all of this lead to an Iranian and American return to the JCPOA?
 
What will the new JCPOA look like and will the Biden administration stay true to its commitment to enforce an add-on to the JCPOA to fix the deal's holes?
 
How will Israel act if Washington and the West simply wilt under Iranian pressure and suffice with a slightly weaker JCPOA in which Iran permanently gets to keep its hundreds of advanced centrifuges – even if they are temporarily closeted?
 
These are all open questions.
 
But the blinking from all sides over the last few days has started to reshape the geopolitics surrounding the issue, and it seems some more changes and surprises may not be far off.

In May, the Treasury Department released the Biden administration's revenue proposals for fiscal year 2022. One aspect of this document that has gone under-reported is the administration's new plan for reporting requirements for financial institutions.
 
The document is unequivocal about the administration's goal for financial reporting, stating, "this proposal would create a comprehensive financial account information reporting regime."
 
The Biden administration's goal here is to increase tax revenue by making sure no income avoids detection. How will the administration do this? It plans to leverage financial institutions like banks.
 
"This requirement would apply to all business and personal accounts from financial institutions," the proposal reads, "including bank, loan, and investment accounts, with the exception of accounts below a low de minimis gross flow threshold of $600 or fair market value of $600."
 
In other words, financial institutions will report any flows in and out of business and personal accounts of more than $600.
 
This reporting requirement is far above any current requirements on financial institutions. As the document itself states, currently only information for certain types of revenue (including 1099 forms MISC, NEC, and K) require reporting.
 
Some may view this proposal by the Biden administration positively. After all, this isn't an attempt at raising taxes. The goal of this policy is to ensure individuals pay what is legally required, isn't it?
 
There are two issues with this way of thinking.
 
Cutting off Air to the Market
 
The first issue is highlighted by economist Ludwig von Mises's insight that "capitalism breathes through the loopholes." The great innovations and improvements in well-being made available through capitalism were not generated in a loophole-free system. Oftentimes, the most important innovations begin as small start-ups with razor thin margins. As loopholes close, the chance of these risky start-ups succeeding declines.
 
Entrepreneurs are not ignorant to the barriers of regulations and taxation. When something is taxed, you get less of it. If any entrepreneurs are right on the fence of whether a new business venture is likely to be worth it, increasing costs even a little bit may be enough to persuade them otherwise. Economists call this "being on the margin."
 
Avoiding taxes and reporting on small dollar transactions (either intentionally or unintentionally) is another form of loophole. De jure businesses are required to follow strict tax reporting rules, but, much like driving the speed limit, the de facto reporting often departs from the official rule.
 
To understand the danger of making businesses comply with tax law to the letter, consider how difficult it would be for businesses to do so. The tax code is now so long that nobody, including government officials, are sure of its length. How can business-owners be sure they're complying with a document of unknown length? Put simply, they can't.
 
Therefore, not only will these increased financial reporting requirements raise taxes on entrepreneurs on the margin, they will also force businesses to expend more time and resources ensuring they pay the proper amount of taxes. Any tax audit with access to every account transfer over $600 will crush businesses without a team of accountants or lawyers able to justify every transfer.
 
The burden of this policy, then, will fall primarily on small businesses without access to a massive internal legal team. A policy that punishes small businesses like this may be good for large corporations, but it's bad for market competition.
 
As Mises noted, capitalism suffocates without loopholes.
 
The End of Financial Privacy
 
The second issue associated with Biden's proposal is its effect on financial privacy. The administration's focus on increasing financial reporting is becoming a consistent theme. For example, the "information reporting regime" document also includes proposals for cryptocurrency reporting which can be seen as a precursor to the crypto reporting requirements shoehorned into the "infrastructure" bill.
 
The increase in financial scrutiny provided by access to every transaction greater than $600 associated with personal accounts would provide an unprecedented look into the finances of many Americans. Even the powerful political will behind the 2002 "Patriot Act" only led to requirements that banks report suspicious transactions of $5,000 or more.
 
Much like small businesses, most individuals don't have access to a team of lawyers and accountants the same way DC politicians and bureaucrats do. As such, these new requirements are likely to hurt poor and middle income Americans whose primary source of income is non-traditional. This is unsurprising given the Biden administration's record of threatening gig work, for instance.
 
Some may argue that privacy is unnecessary because you have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide. But, again, individuals cannot be expected to perfectly comply with a document of unspecified length. Unfortunately, as the government approaches perfect information, perfect compliance becomes the standard.
 
At one time, perhaps community banks or other small financial institutions interested in keeping customers around could've provided resistance to this by generating political pushback or work-arounds for customers.
 
However, government policies have effectively destroyed a more decentralized network of financial institutions. Since the early 1990s the number of small banks has fallen from over 10,000 to below 5,000. Now politicians are proposing to leverage their relationships with the few big players who are "too big to fail" to examine every aspect of Americans' finances.
 
Especially with the lockdowns, the federal government already has small businesses, independent contractors, and the economy in general in a stranglehold. This new "Information Reporting Regime" will only tighten its economically lethal grip.

Ok, so He didn’t come this ‘Trumpets.’ Never be discouraged! I wrote this during the final hour of the Feast of Trumpets 2021. Once more, many have been disappointed and disillusioned because Jesus Christ didn’t come for us during this year’s Feast of Trumpets… just as they’ve been disappointed after every ‘Blood Moon’ and after every other unusual occurrence in the Heavens or on earth.
 
We knew He could have come; nothing in Bible prophecy needs to be fulfilled before the Rapture; and yet, in one sense, I didn’t expect Him to come because I did expect Him to come. “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect” (Matthew 24:44). But weren’t we right to earnestly look for and expect Him? Just two verses before, Jesus said, “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming” (Matthew 24:42).
 
In Luke 12:35-40, Jesus said, “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. But know this that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
 
We are to live in a constant state of readiness and expectation while, at the same time, being patient and longsuffering, not allowing ourselves to become discouraged when every new day dawns without His having come for us the night before, yet always waking with this thought: ‘This really could be the day!’
 
Some disbelieve and mock us as we look for and expect Him daily, but even that, in and of itself, is further proof that it could be today. “…knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation” ‘(2 Peter 3:3).
 
2 Peter 3:9 tells us one of the main reasons the Lord Jesus Christ has not yet come: “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
 
He is waiting until the moment He reveals and calls to Himself the very last person His Father chose and elected to be His Son’s Bride, chosen from before the foundation of the world:
 
“…just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved” (Ephesians 1:4-6).
 
And that brings us to our main point: Why else does He delay His coming? This is something which should really thrill us beyond measure!
 
During these many years of delay, God has given us something to hope for and to labor toward, even beyond His glorious return for us; the thing which pertains to each of us, personally:
 
Paul wrote: “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’ But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit” (1 Corinthians 2:9-10).
 
“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory” (Colossians 3:1-3).
 
Paul tells us that it is beyond even our imagination the glorious eternal rewards Jesus Christ has planned to pour out upon those who’ve faithfully walked with Him in fellowship and obedience.
 
Jesus said, “…but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matt 6:20).
 
Our treasure should be in Heaven where we are, now, building the totality of our treasure. Sadly, many have chosen to store up their treasures here on earth, and they will eventually all be for naught, left behind, at the Rapture, to be eaten and destroyed by moth, rust, and decay, all of which will cry out against them when they stand before the Lord Jesus Christ at the time to receive our Eternal Rewards.
 
Many of us have had to endure painful things while waiting for Him; I’m sorry we’ve had to go through so much for so long, but here is truth: in all we’ve been through, in all we’ve suffered, the Lord Jesus Christ reached down and specifically took hold of us… He chose us from before the foundation of the world… He chose us because His plan has always been to glorify Himself in us and through us.
 
Every time we think right, choose right, say right, or do right, He is glorified in front of all angels, elect and fallen, and all humans, elect and fallen. Every time we “walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which we’ve been called” (Eph 4:1), “walking in a manner worthy of the Lord” (Col 1:10), we gain unimaginable eternal rewards that will never be taken away. Each and every reward is far beyond anything we could ever imagine.
 
I am able to imagine exceptionally huge indeed! But He is “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask, think or imagine!” (Eph 3:20). Every time we set our hearts to imagine as tremendously, enormously great as we can, and then remind ourselves that He is able to do even exceedingly abundantly above even that, we are glorifying Him by declaring that He is sufficiently mighty and even Almightier still!
 
You may think… ‘All I care about is getting there and being with Him.’ He gave us the book of Hosea to explain a little of how He loves us… of His loyal, steadfast love for us no matter what!
 
When we self-righteously say something like, ‘Well, I just want to make it to Heaven… that’s all I’m shootin’ for… that’ll be enough’ – that kind of thinking dishonors and ‘disglorifies’ Him. What we don’t realize is that it will be His joy to be the One to pour out those rewards on us forever; as He glorifies us, He will be glorified in and through us. He is so looking forward to having us to Himself and being able to glorify us… yes… glorify us! We think all the glory belongs to Him, and that is so; but the truth is, His plan is to glorify us!
 
At the moment of the Rapture, we will be clothed in an unbelievably glorified eternal body just like His own, a body that will finally be capable of experiencing and enjoying all that God has imagined and planned for us throughout Eternity. His body shines with glory, as seen in Rev. 1 and on the Mount of Transfiguration, and His plan is that we will also shine with the glory that He bestows upon us because He loves us and because He will be glorified in His glorification of us.
 
“Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” (1 John 3:2).
 
All our past hurt and abuse, all our past sin and failure… those are the things which the enemy hoped would be for our’s and God’s dishonor; but, in fact, God will be further glorified in all of those things when it is revealed that He was able to take such seemingly dishonorable vessels and recreate them into vessels for His Glory.
 
Through all our pain and failure, His love for us is such that He set in motion the events that would allow us to gain untold, unimaginable, unbelievable rewards that He will be so pleased to shower upon us over and over forever.
 
Not only does it not matter to Him all the ‘things’ we’ve done – rather, all of those things that were shameful of which we’ve repented – He has used as the things which, added together, make up our part of His glorious Bride in whom He has been pleased to glorify Himself all these years.
 
Jesus said, “The one who is forgiven much, loves much” (Luke 7:47).
 
Every time an evil spirit looks at us, they know, every one of them knows that we are lost to them, that we were ones whom Jesus Christ chose to forgive much, to die for. And every time they realize their loss, Jesus Christ is glorified in us.
 
The Rapture is coming soon, very soon, and all of this will be finished; but our eternity, our forever, will have only just begun.
 
We are in forever now! Every decision we make, every action we take affects forever… now!
 
We are princes and princesses of the King. We are going through our time of training in order to fully and ably enter into the fabulous ministry He has planned for us as we rule and reign with Him – first, for one thousand years, and then forever.
 
Continue to walk in a manner worthy of your calling. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things of the earth. Wait for Him expectantly every day. One moment soon, He will call us up to Himself… maybe even today!

Daily Jot: The Farm Chronicles: Akron Saddle Club gangsters - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com
 
The horse show business in Ohio during the 1960’s and 70’s was a rough go. It was very competitive. And at any given show, judges were influenced and people who lost should have won and vice versa. Dad and my brother Chuck got into the show circuit quite naïve about all this. They just wanted to have a good time and compete against the clock with their very fast horses. They were quite good at it. Chuck’s horse, Ricochet, was a Missouri State Champion in the pole bends—a timed event where horse and rider weave in and out of six poles set in a line 21 feet apart. Dad’s horse Hollywood was great at everything, but especially barrel racing where he consistently raced at world-record pace.
 
While, Dad and Chuck were very competitive, they were friends with most of the cowboys that ran against them. They preferred winning, but they didn’t mind losing so long as the clock was fair and accurate. In most places, it was. The Akron Saddle Club, however, was comprised of a bunch of hoodlums on horses. Whenever Dad and Chuck competed against Akron Saddle Club members individually, they were less than mediocre, but in Akron and Summit County, they were a big deal. They would contract with the horse show committees to “run” the timed events. They brought in their own electric timer (everybody else used stop watches), run by their own “official” judge, and they wouldn’t allow anyone to stand near the timer to verify the accuracy of the reported time.
 
Whenever the Akron Saddle Club was running things, Dad and Chuck would run first and second in most every event, until the members of the Akron Saddle Club ran. Then Dad and Chuck would finish just behind their five guys. Moreover, the Akron bunch would taunt Dad and Chuck, mock them, and try to bully them. The biggest show of the season was at Sun Beau Valley, a pristine horse farm with a beautiful arena and wonderful setting. Dad and Chuck were ready to run. Then they found out the Akron Saddle Club was in charge of the timed events. Sure enough, Dad and Chuck were first and second in each event until the saddle club boys ran. They all were all sitting on their horses in the paddock outside the show ring when Dad said something that these guys couldn’t win against them if they weren’t running their own clock.
 
Chuck challenged them to a run off, no clock, just side by side. And it got into an exchange of words. Spoiling for a fight, one of the Akron guys grabbed Hollywood’s reins and jerked him over backwards on Dad. Chuck jumped off Ricochet and punched the Akron guy so hard it knocked him out, but the brawl was short lived because they thought Dad was laying dead in the dirt of the paddock. Once the dust settled and the horses cleared out, Dad had suffered only a broken arm. But some good came out of this unfortunate incident: The Akron Saddle Club was asked not to come back to the show again, and other shows quit allowing them to run timed events. Proverbs 20:10 says, “Differing weights and unequal measures, both are detestable to the LORD.” And honest cowboys don’t much like them either.

In Charlotte, North Carolina, you’ll find the Billy Graham Parkway, dedicated to the greatest evangelist in history, in my opinion. It’s a great thing to be able to drive on a freeway bearing his name.
 
But the Bible tells us there will be something even better than the Billy Graham Parkway. It’s the Highway of Holiness: “And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there” (Isaiah 35:8 NLT).
 
During the millennial reign of Jesus Christ, holiness will prevail. Today, the opposite of holiness prevails. Or society celebrates evil and makes fun of goodness. But a day is coming when there will be holiness.
 
And then, at the end of the Millennium, Heaven and Earth will become one. John wrote, “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, ‘Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them’” (Revelation 21:1–3 NLT).
 
Have you ever heard someone describe something as “Heaven on Earth”? Well, one day it literally will be Heaven on Earth when the two merge together.
 
Heaven will come down to Earth one day. In fact, the Bible tells us that God’s plan is to bring all things in Heaven and Earth together under one head: Jesus Christ (see Ephesians 1:10).
 
Jesus will make Earth into Heaven and Heaven into Earth.
