The Book of Revelation begins with these words, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw” (Rev. 1:1-2). The Book of Revelation is:
Here are five major signs in Revelation chapter 13 that MUST come to pass during the Tribulation Period: One, a global power MUST come into being. 13:7 says, “Power was given him [to the Antichrist] over ALL kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” An unelected person MUST be given power over all nations. This is the New World Order; the Great Reset; the coming world government. Two, a global false religion MUST come into being.
Three, there MUST be a Global Population Reduction.
Four, there MUST be a Global Marking System.
Five, there MUST be a Global Economic System.
In Dan. Chapter 4, we read that God caused King Nebuchadnezzar to lose his mind. · His hair grew like feathers. · His nails grew like claws. · He crawled around in a pasture like an animal on all fours. · He grazed grass like an animal. · His body stayed wet from the dew. · This lasted for 7 years. Why? So “the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men” (Dan. 4:17, 25, 32). So, the living will know that:
In response to a question about His Second Coming and the end of the age, Jesus said, “When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh” (Luke 21:28). As the end of the age nears, there will be a generation that can see the signs beginning to come to pass (Matt. 24:32-33). Our generation is seeing the five major signs in Revelation chapter 13 beginning to come to pass. It is not a coincidence that these five major signs are shaping up. It is the Revelation of Jesus Christ beginning to come to pass. Here are more events that seem to indicate that Tribulation Period events are beginning to show up: One, concerning the possibility of corruption in Washington: on May 19, 2023, former Pres. Trump’s deputy National Security Adviser, K. T. McFarland, said the U.S. Dept of Justice (DOJ), FBI, and CIA are planning to rig the 2024 presidential election. McFarland cited the Durham report, the 51 former CIA agents that signed a letter saying Hunter’s laptop is Russian disinformation, the FBI’s protection of Hillary, the FBI’s protection of Hunter, the Congressional investigations, and more. According to McFarland, these agencies have done it in the past, and they will do it again because they are terrified about what will happen if a Republican becomes president. (My opinion: On more than one occasion, I have stated my belief that there is no telling what they will do to keep Trump out of office and bring in the New World Order. America is in trouble, and we know world government is coming.) Two, concerning how divided America has become: > In Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis continues to indicate that she intends to bring charges against former Pres. Trump, attorney Rudy Giuliani, and sixteen Republicans for trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election. > On May 17, 2023, it was reported that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has introduced legislation to impeach FBI Director Christopher Wray for using the FBI to intimidate, harass and trap U.S. citizens who are deemed to be enemies of Pres. Biden’s policies and for shielding Hunter Biden from prosecution. > On May 17, 2023, it was reported that Rep. Anna Paulina Luna has introduced legislation to expel Rep. Adam Schiff from Congress for constantly saying there is evidence that Pres. Trump colluded with the Russians, but the Durham investigation found that there is no evidence, and the story was made up by Hillary Clinton’s campaign committee. > On May 18, 2023, it was reported that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene intends to try to impeach Pres. Biden because he is compromising the security of America by refusing to enforce U.S. immigration laws and secure the U.S. Border with Mexico. Three, concerning corruption in the FBI: on May 18, 2023, a former FBI agent, Steve Friend, told a Congressional committee the FBI manipulated data on the Jan. 6, 2021, demonstrations at the White House to create the impression that domestic terrorism is a nationwide problem in the U.S. According to Friend, the FBI “has refocused counterterrorism from legitimate foreign actors to political opponents within our borders.” As I understand it, Friend was saying the FBI is now putting less focus on prosecuting terrorists that are coming into the U.S. from other nations (especially across our border with Mexico) and more focus on prosecuting U.S. citizens as terrorists for disagreeing with the Biden administration. Four, concerning corruption in the FBI: on May 19, 2023, it was reported that Kevin McCarthy, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, said a report filed by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) shows that the FBI improperly used warrantless searches more than 278,000 times between Jan. 6, 2021, and the year ending Nov. 2021. More than 278,000 improper searches of mostly ordinary citizens who oppose abortion, the gay agenda, vote conservative, etc., in 11 months (about 800 a day) is not an occasional mistake by a poorly trained FBI agent; it is an FBI agency deliberately running amok under the direction of a bad leader that should be held accountable. Five, concerning a loss of respect for America: on May 19, 2023, in response to more U.S. sanctions on Russia, the Russian government banned 500 U.S. citizens (former Pres. Obama, at least three U.S. Senators, 45 members of the U.S. House of Representatives, several members of the U.S. military, several members of the media, and others) from entering Russia. Russia declared that it was banning these people because the U.S. government is persecuting U.S. citizens for protesting Biden’s certification as president on Jan. 6, 2021. It is Vladimir Putin’s position that the J6 protestors were people that went to Congress with political demands, not a crowd of robbers and rioters that should be thrown into jail on dubious charges. Six, concerning a normalization agreement between Saudi Arabia and Israel: on May 17, 2023, it was reported that two U.S. officials said:

(My opinion: At some point in time, there will be a breakthrough, and a covenant will be drafted that divides the Promised Land. The covenant will be for seven years of peace, it will be confirmed by a global leader who is the Antichrist, and his confirmation will mark the beginning of the Tribulation Period. The fact that the U.S. is pushing for a peace treaty and the two leaders are talking to each other about it could ultimately lead to a breakthrough that God will not accept (Dan. 9:27; Joel 3:2; I Thess. 5:3.) Seven, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on May 22, 2023, it was reported satellite pictures and videos show that Iran is building a new underground nuclear site that will be too deep for typical U.S. or Israeli bunker-buster bombs to destroy. Considering that Iran is continuing its quest to build nuclear weapons, this increases the need for an attack on Iran (which could lead to the Battle of Gog and Magog). (Note: On May 23, 2023, Amir Tsarfati reported that Israel appears to be preparing for a pre-emptive strike against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Hezbollah is an Iranian puppet.) Eight, concerning a falling away from the faith at the end of the age: on May 17, 2023, it was reported that more than 3,200 congregations have disaffiliated with the United Methodist Church since 2019 over the denomination’s acceptance of same-sex marriage and ordination of non-celibate LGBTQ clergy. Thousands of members have chosen to leave the denomination because others have chosen to ignore the Bible on these issues (and the same thing has happened in other denominations). Nine, my last article (titled Completely Irrelevant) says, “On May 10, 2023, it was announced that the European Union’s main executive body has given the government of Netherlands permission to force half the farmers in Holland to sell their land to the government because the government wants to take their land out of production and seize their cattle to reduce air pollution. Have you got that? The government is planning to use the climate change scam to take control of about one-third of Holland (half of 70% = 35%), idle the land, and get rid of the cattle.” On May 17, 2023, Pres. Biden’s climate czar, John Kerry, addressed the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture’s AIM for Climate Summit. According to Kerry, one of the most well-known, disrespected, unpatriotic politicians in America, agriculture production is responsible for one-third of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, and a reduction in emissions must be put front and center in America’s quest to defeat global warming. As I see it, a deliberate one-third reduction in food production will cause food shortages, soaring prices, famine, multitudes of deaths, and it will have a negligible impact on the unproven scare tactic called global warming. I believe we can already see some of this beginning to happen. Ten, concerning the World Health Organization (WHO) Assembly meeting in Geneva: in an article that was posted on May 24, 2023, Leo Hohmann wrote that Michele Bachmann was present, and she had this to say: Two documents are under consideration that will shift a large amount of power from sovereign nations to the UN WHO Director General when he declares a health emergency or a potential health emergency. The two documents are:

Tell ChatGPT to write a 1,000-word essay on causes of the American Civil War, and even the free version will spew out an essay with astonishing speed. It may not be entirely accurate. It may not be as good as the one you would have written. But it will do the job in a fraction of the time. From early on, computers amazed us with their speed. And it is speed that makes AI both dangerous and inevitable. Right now, human pilots can outfly computers. But that won’t be the case for long. Computers are faster, and as AI pilots get better, they will begin to defeat human pilots. When that happens, nations around the world will be forced to arm autonomous machines in serious numbers. Any nation refusing to use AI in its defense will be vulnerable. The same thing will happen on the ground. Imagine an army of four-legged, dog-like robots armed with advanced weapons and artificial intelligence. At first, they will be tough for humans to beat. Then humans will stop being able to defeat them at all. This will force nations to arm autonomous machines that cannot be unplugged. In 1940, Isaac Asimov began writing a series of stories about robots with the ability to think and reason. By 1942, he had developed what we now refer to as the “Three Laws of Robotics,” or “Asimov’s Laws.” The first is the most important. “A robot shall not harm a human, or by inaction allow a human to come to harm.” It must have been comforting to think that if humans were ever able to create true thinking machines, we would surely have the good sense to build in some kind of safety mechanism. That thought might have been comforting, but it was also nonsense. Human beings were never going to allow potential weapons of this significance to go unbuilt or unused. AI may never achieve actual consciousness like you have, or even like your dog has. An AI can simulate consciousness and feelings, but they are nowhere near real consciousness. And that’s not very reassuring. If anything, lack of consciousness makes these machines more dangerous. It means they will have vast ability with zero empathy. The “First Law of Robotics” is not compatible with military applications, and militaries are spending vast amounts of money right now developing AI-based weapons systems. Such machines will both fight and kill. Police departments and even private security firms will also use armed AI-based machines — autonomous robots. Any military that does not embrace Artificial Intelligence will fall hopelessly behind. Armed forces around the world will have no choice. They will have to add AI to their weapons and weapons to their AI. In the movies, autonomous machines often turn against humanity. Is that possible? One of AI’s pioneers, Mo Gawdat, predicts that AI will one day be able to build its own machines to carry out its own directives, bypassing people completely. He says such AI will likely think of humans as “scum.” What do you do with scum? You clean it up — get rid of it. With enough time, Artificial Intelligence might do devastating things to the human race. And AI is only one of several extreme threats to civilization. We should respond to such threats with wise policies and thoughtful actions. We should be good citizens and good stewards. And we should pray. Washington and Lincoln led the nation in prayers of thanksgiving that included repentance. On D-Day, Franklin Roosevelt led the nation in prayer, calling on his fellow citizens to begin and end each day with “fervent” prayer. In this hour of danger, the whole world needs to humbly call on God in repentance and for help. No matter what the world does, however, you can stand firmly in God’s grace. The Bible long ago warned about the days in which we now live. But it also tells those who are in Christ Jesus not to fear, but to walk in faith that He will care for us. So, lift up your head. There continues to be constant intrigues involving interactions around and upon Moriah, with Muslim-Jewish contentions keeping an atmosphere for potential war brewing. Yet there is a drumbeat to produce peace, with hostile insistence at its core that Israel give in to enemy demands. Incoming rockets, intended to weaken Israel’s resolve to resist the need to make peace, only hardens IDF dedication to punish the terrorist organizations. We get reports often of IDF forces taking out their leaders with precision drones and other strikes. Too many times, American mainstream media and left-wing political entities take the side of the Israel-hating enemies of the Jewish state. Yet preparation continues for a time when, the religious factions in Israel believe, peace will reign and worship can again take place on the Temple Mount. At present, that seems to be a pipe dream. Any such attempt to reestablish worship by the Jews on the Temple Mount would certainly bring down the wrath of all Islam. Yet the preparation continues. The most previous Jewish Temple was destroyed in AD 70 when General Titus and the Roman legions tore down every stone of the structure. This was exactly as Jesus had foretold while teaching on the Mount of Olives. However, the Lord, while speaking during that discourse, indicated there will be a future Temple–the one the “abomination of desolation” (Antichrist) would sit in, declaring himself to be God. So there must be a Third Temple—God Himself has said so. We have watched developments, as stated above, intensely examining everything surrounding modern Israel. For example, we’ve seen that the implements of worship in that future Temple are already prepared. The red heifers have apparently been produced that will act as cleansing purification in the worship process. Even a rail system is in preparation that, the experts say, is meant to bring Jews in from around the world to the Temple Mount once the edifice is constructed. In the latest regard for that construction, the following item is of interest: Haim Dotan, an acclaimed architect who has won several international awards and also serves as a professor of architecture at leading institutes in China, recently became involved in the ambitious project of designing the third Jewish temple in Jerusalem. Known for his extravagant projects, such as the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge in China—renowned as the tallest glass-bottomed bridge in the world—Dotan last year joined the right-wing activist and literature scholar Professor Hillel Weiss and pitched a session of the Jerusalem International Conference: “From the Umbilicus Mundi to the Four Corners of the Earth and Back.” The conference, scheduled to take place this summer in Jerusalem, will be organized by the Yad Ben Zvi Institute, a prestigious research center in Israel. Dotan’s pitch, “Building Jerusalem, the temple city, and the road to peace,” was divided into three sections. The first was dedicated to the transportation and economy of the future “temple city” of the Israeli capital. The next pitch, entitled “From Vision to Practice,” described future plans for the Jerusalem of the Third Temple era, inspired by biblical sources. “In the center of the plan, an open structure will be built above the Old City of Jerusalem. It will be shaped like a tent, a cloud, or a mountain. Six or eight bridges will connect constructive towers which will combine stairways and elevators, supporting upper Jerusalem,” the outline seen by i24NEWS stated… This may be another far-fetched attempt that is ignored by authorities, but the fact that a prestigious architect – who is secular and doesn’t have any political background – is involved in such a project makes this case all the more interesting, if not more tangible. Plans to rebuild the third Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism and the third holiest in Islam, are not new but have mostly faced strong resistance. In 1990, a deadly riot erupted on the Mount after a fringe Jewish group tried to lay the cornerstone of a third temple. (“The architect and activist who want to build Jerusalem’s third temple,” by Uri Shapira, senior producer, Holy Land Uncovered, I24NEWS, May 19, 2023) David, king of Israel, wanted to build a house wherein God could reside. Jehovah, who called David “a man after my own heart,” proposed the question of whether He could be contained in such a structure. The answer, of course, was, “No.” Of course not. The Lord did appreciate the thought, though, obviously. He told David that he couldn’t build a place where God could dwell among His people because David had too much blood on his hands from all the wars he had fought to defend Israel and acquire land God gave the chosen people. Instead, God told David that Solomon, David’s son, would build God such a dwelling place. The Temple Solomon built had at its heart the Holy of Holies, a fifteen-foot cubed inner sanctum that housed the Ark of the Covenant, the elaborately prepared container wherein the Shekinah glory, the very presence of God, would dwell. That spot is still somewhere upon the Temple Mount—Mt Moriah, most scholars believe. Religious Jews are still afraid to walk upon the Temple Mount grounds for fear of accidentally treading upon that one spot on earth where God chose to reside. The Temple and the Holy of Holies constituted God’s touchstone to humanity—and particularly to the Jews. It is the place where Abraham was to offer Isaac before God Intervened with the ram caught by its horns in a thicket, thus providing the sacrifice Abraham made to the God of Heaven. Not far from the spot of the Holy of Holies is Golgotha, where Jesus Christ hung on the cross. When Christ died, the veil in the Temple’s Holy of Holies tore from top to bottom, giving people direct access to God the Father through that Sacrifice. Solomon’s Temple, then, was the First Temple. It was the most glorious in beauty; it stunned even the queen of Sheba when her eyes fell upon its splendor. Nebuchadnezzar destroyed it in 587 BC. The building of the Second Temple took place following Israel’s Babylonian captivity. It lasted from 516 BC to AD 70. It became known as Herod’s Temple when it was commissioned by the king to be greatly expanded in size and beauty. As stated earlier, this Temple was destroyed by the Roman military in AD 70. The Third Temple is foretold to be in place during the last seven years of human history prior to Christ’s return. Daniel prophesied about Antichrist: “…in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease” (Daniel 9:27b) This last, most vicious, tyrant will enter the Third Temple and desecrate it. This Tribulation Temple, like all other developments toward fulfilling the coming seven years of hell on earth Bible prophecy calls Daniel’s seventieth week, can be constructed very quickly, according to those who study the matters involved. Many believe, as do I, that the rebuilding of the Temple will be a major stipulation for getting Israel to agree to a peace covenant with its blood-vowed enemies–the covenant “made with death and hell.” (Isaiah 28:15, 18). Those seven years of horror must be very near. All who are left behind following the Rapture will have to endure the time Jesus, Himself, said will be the worst time of all human history (Matthew 24:21). As we always say, you don’t want to be here during that time of horror worse than even the death camps of Hitler, Stalin, and Mao. Here again is how to be ready to go to Jesus when He calls in the Rapture. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. A secular mind would think that this debate is a bit silly because it’s about a very tiny part of our society, which is less than one percent. Any Christian should know that the struggle is over the fate of our nation. The Gay Pride battle has been lost, and transgender advocates are using the same tactics to win over the minds of Americans. In the 1980s, there was no major corporation that would dare say that they support the homosexual agenda. AT&T began supporting gay events in liberal cities like San Francisco. The financial support was handled under the table. When people found out that AT&T was supporting Gay Pride, the main company said that was just the action of our local offices. There are 5,000 major companies in the US, and I don’t know of any one of them that would now stand by biblical values on sexuality. Chick-Fil-A is often thought to be an anti-gay firm, but it has basically said it just sells chicken and doesn’t have any problem with all things LGBTQ+. There are several activist groups that monitor all companies. One has a rating system that ranks firms on how well they fly the rainbow flag. These activities will stop by the corporate headquarters of firms and talk to human resources about how they can improve their ranking. Some major companies have dozens of people whose job is to promote the LGBTQ agenda. I did 20 years in the Air Force, and I was surprised to learn there is now an office of Inclusion and Diversity. A major problem with the spread of transgenderism is that many support it despite the fact that it harms their gender. I found a video that had five women talking about trans rights. One of them said that it is very unfair to her as a female athlete to have former men compete in women’s sports. She said, “I need to utilize every option to go against people of my same sex.” She saw it as almost pointless to race against someone who still has a man’s body. The other women acted as if she had just said blacks and whites should not compete against each other in sports. To promote fairness, they would gladly destroy all women’s sports. The Bud Light Dylan Mulvaney fiasco has gotten much attention. Sales of the product are down 30%. The majority of the people who drink the product are male. This dumb move is like if the Tampons Tampax company decided to have shock Jock Howard Stern do promotions for their product. The CEO of Anheuser-Busch InBev refuses to apologize for hiring Mulvaney. He has called the move a misunderstanding. Bud Light is now running ads that show Clydesdales horses and the American flag. The firm has offered distributors free beer. Saying they made a mistake would cause their diversity rating to go down. I am amazed at how cultural norms can flip on their head over time. The Coon Chicken Inn was a fried chicken restaurant chain located in the Pacific Northwest from the late 1920s through the late 1940s. The chain was famous for its “Coon” logo, a caricatured African-American male rooted in 19th-century minstrel theatre and early 20th-century advertising. The most prominent manifestation of the Coon caricature was the 12ft high “Coon head” that served as the entrance to each restaurant location. The logo is so shocking by today’s standards, you have to see it for yourself. Cut and paste Coon Chicken Inn into a Google search and press the images tab. When the restaurant was in its prime, I’m sure people had no idea there was a racial connection with the logo. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has gotten into a fight with the Walt Disney Company over a law that he helped pass. It bars teachers from talking to young students about sexuality. Years ago, it would be unthinkable for a non-parent to tell an 8-year-old boy that he may have been born the wrong sex. The involvement of children is the key difference between the Gay Pride battle and the transgender battle. It is sick to read about children being given sex change operations and hormone treatments. Jesus said that the corruption of children is one of the greatest evils that someone can commit. We’ve reached the point where people are destroying not just a child’s mind but also their body. “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depths of the sea” (Matthew 18:6 NASB). Headlines and daily newscasts are a continuous reminder of the turmoil of everyday life. It is easy to get weary in a world where your belief system is contested every minute. It’s easy to get angry, upset, anxious, even depressed over living in this day and age. Yet, as followers of Christ, we are supposed to treat others as we would be treated. As in Proverbs 25:21-22, “If your enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For you shall heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward you.” What the scriptures are talking about here is kindness. There is a principle regarding kindness, an act sorely missing in today’s society. Recall the story of Ruth during a time of famine. After moving from Judah to Moab seeking food, her mother-in-law Naomi’s husband died. Then Naomi’s two sons died. Ruth was married to one of the sons. Orpha was married to the other. Naomi, left with nothing, decided to return to her homeland of Judah, of the God of her fathers. She knew at least in Judah her people would care for her. She encouraged Orpha and Ruth, both Gentiles, to remain in Moab. Orpha departed. Ruth, however, refused and chose to remain with Naomi, saying, “for where you go, I will go; and where you stay, I will stay; your people shall be my people and your God my God.” This demonstrated Ruth’s devotion to not only Naomi, but importantly her choice to follow the one true God. Naomi had a relative on her husband’s side, Boaz, who was prominent and wealthy. Ruth went to Boaz’s fields to follow behind the harvesters and glean what was left, as was the Biblical custom for widows who had no family to support them. Boaz heard how Ruth was so very kind to Naomi and was impressed that she left her homeland to remain with Naomi. He told Ruth to harvest what she needed and said, in Ruth 2:12, “May the Lord reward you for what you have done; may you be rewarded in full by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.” Long story short, Boaz was a family member who could legally rescue Ruth and Naomi as a redeeming kinsman. Boaz eventually married Ruth and redeemed Naomi’s husband’s and son’s family tree, by having a son with Ruth. That son was David’s grandfather. Naomi and Ruth faced turmoil from famine and tragedy from death. Their response was kindness and a work ethic to survive. Boaz recognized this and responded in care, mercy and kindness. Proverb 25:22 speaks of the Lord’s reward for kindness, as did Boaz in Ruth 2:12. Christ also speaks in Matthew 5 about loving your enemies, blessing them that curse you and doing good to them that hate you, “that you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven.” Then he asks for if you love those who love you, “what reward do you have?” It is easy to respond to today’s circumstances with anger, but that anger can turn to bitterness, fear, and anxiety—all things that harm us personally which is what the devil wants for us. As with Ruth, you are under the wings of the Lord. Take action and act in kindness, where there is blessing. Certainly, that describes the days in which we are living. But in Psalm 91, which is the gold mine of the Psalms, we find wonderful promises of God’s provision and protection. In fact, next to Psalm 23, this psalm probably has brought more solace to God’s people over the centuries than any other psalm. As believers have faced times of danger, sickness, war, and death, Psalm 91 has been a great comfort to them. It’s an excellent psalm for anyone who faces danger. In this psalm God promises that He will deliver us, He will protect us, He will answer our prayers, and He will be with us in times of trouble. While Psalm 91 contains great promises, it also contains conditions for activating those promises. Not every person can simply take the promises of this psalm and say, “These apply to me.” Rather, these promises are only for the children of God. They are only for those who have put their trust and faith in God through Jesus Christ. So, to receive these promises, we must first meet the conditions. For example, the psalm begins, “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty” (verse 1 nlt). The name “Most High” is from the Hebrew word Elohim. It speaks of God as the One who possesses everything. Next, the word for “Almighty” comes from the Hebrew word Shaddai, which speaks of God’s provision. So not only is He the living God, but He is also the giving God. Isn’t that wonderful to know? But to activate these promises, we must “live in the shelter of the Most High.” We must dwell in fellowship with God. We must have an intimate, close relationship with Him.
