When the disciples asked Jesus about the signs of His coming and the end of the age (Matt. 24:3), the first thing He said was, “Take heed that no man deceive you” (Matt. 24:4). Deception is a major sign of the end of the age, and it will reach its peak during the Tribulation Period. Jesus mentioned it four times in the Olivet Discourse (Matt. 24:4, 5, 11, and 24). It confirms a vision that Daniel had about a coming leader that would cast the truth to the ground (Dan. 8:12). The angel Gabriel revealed that this coming leader (that turned out to be an evil man called Antiochus Epiphanes) would have many of the traits of a master deceiver that would rise at the time of the end (the Antichrist; Dan. 8:19). I do not listen to a lot of news on TV, but it seems like when I do, someone is talking about misinformation, censorship, fake news, lying, or whatever. It seems that we have been fed a lot of misinformation about Covid, the safety of Covid-19 vaccinations, false claims that Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine aren’t effective against Covid, claims that we have to switch to green energy and start eating bugs and worms or climate change will destroy the world, claims that there was no voter fraud in the 2020 election, the citizens that went to the White House on Jan. 6, 2021, are domestic terrorists, a man can be a woman, there are more than two genders, our borders are secure, we will soon own nothing and be happy, Israel is occupying Palestinian territory, the Two-State Solution will bring peace to the Middle East, and on and on, truth is cast to the ground and trampled on. Social media is censoring people and posting misinformation like never before. Most of the major media cannot be trusted. Political disinformation (and spin) is rampant. Companies and individuals are working on systems to monitor and control the validity of information, but who gets to decide what is true and what is untrue is a major problem. I can tell you that what the angel Gabriel revealed to Daniel about the end of the age was so bad it caused him to faint and to be sick for several days (Dan. 8:27). It is fair to say that the truth is being cast to the ground. Here is more information that seems to indicate that the end of the age has arrived. One, concerning corruption and deceit in the Democrat Party: the FBI, and Twitter, on Apr. 5, 2023, LifeSiteNews posted an article by Andreas Wailzer on the six most important revelations that have come from Elon Musk’s release of Twitter Files up to this time.

Manufacturers, health officials, and fact checkers rejected their reports. On Apr. 9, 2023, it was reported that a U.S. Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) document released in Feb. 2023 by order of a U.S Federal Judge proves that “Pfizer, the FDA, and fact checkers lied when they said toxic Graphene Oxide was not in the Covid-19 vaccinations.” If this report is true, and I do not doubt it, U.S. government health officials and others cast truth to the ground (a way of saying they lied to the American people and may be responsible for the death and injury of many). Three, concerning deceit: on Aug. 26, 2021, Pres. Biden pulled America’s troops out of Afghanistan against the advice of his military leaders. America’s troops abandoned about $80 billion of U.S. weapons, 13 U.S. servicemembers and approximately 170 Afghan citizens were killed by two suicide bombers, a U.S. drone mistakenly killed about 10 innocent Afghan civilians trying to flee in a vehicle, and many U.S. citizens and Afghan allies were left behind despite America’s promises to get them out. The White House National Security Council has now prepared a report on what happened with the input of Pres. Biden and the Pentagon. The report is being kept confidential, but a summary has been released of their findings, and on Apr. 6, 2023, White House spokesman John Kirby said Biden is proud of the pullout, he saw no chaos, and he blamed former Pres. Trump for what happened. Because the truth is so well known, it is amazing that our leaders preferred to lie. Four, concerning deceit and false accusers; on Mar. 27, 2023, a 28-year-old transgender activist killed three students and three adults at a private Christian school he/she once attended in Nashville, TN. Even though transgender activists have been involved in several acts of violence in recent months, and even though there are transgender activist groups encouraging violence, many in the media chose to blame the shooting on guns, Christians, Republicans, and conservatives. Because the truth that the transgender shooter probably had mental problems did not fit the narrative that some in the media like to portray, they cast the truth to the ground. Dishonesty and false accusations in the media are setting the stage for persecution of people who become believers during the Tribulation Period. (More: On Apr. 11, 2023, it was reported that Riley Gaines, a female swimmer who competed at the Univ. of Ky., was attacked and hit twice by a gender-confused man dressed as a woman at San Francisco Univ. for speaking out against biological men competing against biological women in sports. After the attack, Gaines was surrounded by a crowd of protestors shouting vulgarities, but the campus police moved in and took her to a safe place.) (FYI: If gays persist in ignoring God, He will give them over to a reprobate mind, and they will not be able to act in their own best interest; Rom. 1:28.) Five, concerning corruption and deceit, at least 1,000 Trump supporters have been arrested for going to the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to protest that the 2020 presidential election was stolen. Many are still in jail. Several members of a group called the Proud Boys that support Trump’s Make America Great Again agenda were arrested with the protestors. On Apr. 6, 2023, government officials admitted that it had embedded eight confidential sources in the Proud Boys. Roger Roots, an attorney for one of the Proud Boys, filed a document with the court saying a group called Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) appear to have had 19 active agents embedded with the protesters (Trump supporters). Roots added that the Washington DC Metro Police (MPD) had 13 agents embedded with the protestors (Trump supporters), some marched with the Proud Boys, and federal prosecutors have revealed information on 12 of them. According to Roots numbers, the various law enforcement agencies had at least 40 people embedded with the protestors (Trump supporters), and some can be seen and heard on body-worn videos instigating the protest. If Roots’ charges are true, some of the embedded government law enforcement officials were instigating Trump supporters to protest, and then the Trump supporters were arrested and jailed (and the truth has been cast to the ground). Six, on Apr. 11, 2023, it was reported that information obtained with a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request found that the Biden administration and the Dept. of Justice (DOJ) instigated the FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. According to the senior counsellor for the agency that initiated the FOIA request, “The President and the Department of Justice unlawfully abused their power and then lied about it to the American people” (they instigated an illegal raid on the home of a political opponent and told the American people they were stunned when they found out the FBI did it). Seven, concerning the decline of America and the rise of the New World Order: on Apr. 8, 2023, Russia announced that talks on ending the Russian invasion of Ukraine should include a discussion about creating the “New World Order.” Russia claims she is leading a struggle against U.S. dominance worldwide, and her war in Ukraine is part of that fight. (My opinion: Obviously, I could easily be wrong, but based on my understanding of Bible prophecy, I expect America to soon lose its position as leader of the free world, the UN Security Council to eventually be changed from 5 permanent members, and 10 temporary members to a New World Order with 10 regional leaders, kings, czars, or whatever. I do not know about timing, but I also expect Russia to be defeated in the Battle of Gog and Magog and the Antichrist to rise to power in the EU. If the New World Order is going to be established by 2030 or sooner, big changes are coming soon.) Eight, concerning the decline of America: on Apr. 9, 2023, Emmanuel Macron, Pres. of France, was returning home from a trip to China, where he discussed ways to improve France’s relationship with China and efforts to end the war in Ukraine. On his way home, Macron said, “Europe must reduce its dependence on the U.S.” and “reduce dependence on the dollar.” His effort to improve France’s relationship with China appears to include casting off America’s dominance of the EU and the free world. (My opinion: The current U.S. administration is trying to bring the Netanyahu government down, and what we are doing in Israel is coming back on us.) Nine, on Apr. 10, 2023, it was reported that the U.S. is planning to send officials next month to some of our allies in Europe (Switzerland, Italy, and Germany) and Central Asia to threaten sanctions against them if they don’t start enforcing U.S. sanctions on Russia. It is unclear how our allies will respond, but Iran believes they will eventually get tired of U.S. bullying. Ten, concerning the tracking of all buying and selling: as I understand it (and there is more than anyone can keep up with), the U.S. Federal Reserve will introduce its FEDNow Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in July 2023 for transactions between banks. The Fed must get the banks in the system before it gets individual citizens in the system. Following a successful rollout with the banks, at some unknown point, the use of CBDCs will be expanded to transactions between U.S. citizens. I cannot predict what will happen, but I have seen reports that citizens will be allowed to use both the present system (cash, checks, etc.) and CBDCs, but the present system (cash, checks, etc.) will eventually be phased out. When the present system is phased out, the U.S. government will be able to track all buying and selling. (Note: A digital currency to track all buying and selling in the U.S. is not the same as a one-world currency to track all buying and selling on earth, but it will be a major step in that direction. And I believe the Church will be Raptured before a one-world currency and the ability to track all buying and selling on earth comes into being. Those that are watching are seeing it beginning to come to pass, but Christians won’t be here when it is fully implemented all over the world.) Eleven, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Apr. 9, 2023, it was reported that Iran and its proxies and allies are launching multi-front attacks on Israel:

At some point, Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others are going to attack Israel on the Golan Heights and be defeated (the Battle of Gog and Magog; Ezek. 38-39). The world then, as now, seemed poised to burst into actual flames. The nuclear war threat was ever-present, and the spiritual evil seemed, as now, to be erupting from the very portal of Hell. However, that earlier time, because of extremely troubling things transpiring hour by hour today, seems almost a pleasant reminiscence. But at the same time, although things on the horizon are far more volatile now than when Dr. Graham released that book, the earth’s inhabitants and people of America seem to scarcely notice the true nature of the dangers faced. And only a tiny minority within those actually understand what is happening and what is about to happen while the world and the nation rage toward reset. This end-times generation sits upon an incendiary surface, beneath which is building the tectonic Tribulation pressures that are about to explode in the most catastrophic eruption of all human history. As a matter of fact, the minions—the powers and principalities—against whom we as believers struggle, both human and demonic, are deep into preparing to bring that condition about. The evil, supernatural minions among that cabal are implementing the chief perpetrator’s blueprint to make the earth an inferno of death and destruction. At the same time, the human minions—at least many of them—believe they are creating a utopian world in which they can become as gods. This will require certain things to take place. These things are within the luciferian blueprint, but the human minions believe that blueprint is their own creation. At least some of this human element within the Ephesians 6:12 cabal believe they are doing God’s work—assuming at least a few actually believe there is a God. These, in their state of satanic delusion, believe the blueprint is of their own creation. They title their plan “The Great Reset.” Their slogan for this scheme to construct their version of Babel’s tower is “Build back better!”. The chief human architect for the Great Reset project apparently is Klaus Schwab. This globalist adherent to the “Build back better” mantra framed the neo-Babel building project a few years ago. In June, 2020, Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), presented the plan. He wrote that the COVID-19 lockdowns “may be gradually easing, but anxiety about the world’s social and economic prospects is only intensifying.” He warned that a “sharp economic downturn has already begun, and we could be facing the worst depression since the 1930s.” “To achieve a better outcome,” Schwab said, “the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions.” “Every country, from the United States to China,” he said, “must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.” The following describes the unsavory project from the non-delusional perspective. This will be your future if some powerful people at the World Economic Forum get their way: you’ll own nothing and “be happy about it.” Energy will be green, rationed, and expensive, and travel will be restricted. Your diet will be controlled, and currency will be digital. This left-wing dystopian dream is called the Great Reset, and you’re supposed to be excited about it. The Great Reset Is Well-Documented The Great Reset has been labeled a conspiracy theory and parts of it sound like a conspiracy theory, but everything we know about it comes from the global elites themselves, who have been quite open about it. “This is not a conspiracy theory. This is a well-documented movement among many of the world’s most powerful people,” says Justin Haskins, the Editorial Director at The Heartland Institute and a leading authority on the Great Reset, “Fundamentally, this is a radical and complete transformation of everything that we do in our society,” Haskins adds, ‘It will change the way businesses are evaluated, it will coerce businesses to pursue left-wing causes.” The Great Reset was unveiled at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where many of the world’s most powerful people go to offer solutions to the world’s problems. COVID-19 Pandemic as an ‘Opportunity’ to Change Everything A World Economic Forum video warns, “Right now we’re facing a crisis of international proportions. It’s going to have a long-term impact on us.” And their solution is essentially global socialism. Think of the Green New Deal combined with the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions and throw in something called the Fourth Industrial Revolution, in which technology is supposed to radically change the way we live and work. The Great Reset planned by those who would rule the earth is understood by those who believe what God’s prophetic Word says about things to come as being Satan’s blueprint for bringing the Antichrist regime to power. It is the pre-Trib view of Bible prophecy that provides full enlightenment—that gives more complete understanding of what happens next. Let us answer by listing 10 ways by which America lost all deterrence: 1) Biden abruptly pulled all U.S. troops from Afghanistan. He left behind to the Taliban hundreds of Americans and thousands of pro-American Afghans. Biden abandoned billions of dollars in U.S. equipment, the largest air base in central Asia--recently retrofitted at a cost of $300 million--and a $1 billion embassy. Our government called such a debacle a success. The world disagreed and saw only humiliation. 2) The Biden administration allowed a Chinese high-altitude spy balloon to traverse the continental United States, spying on key American military installations. The Chinese were defiant when caught and offered no apologies. In response, the Pentagon and the administration simply lied about the extent that China had surveilled top-secret sites. 3) In March 2021, at an Anchorage, Alaska, mini summit, Chinese diplomats unleashed a relentless barrage at their stunned and mostly silent American counterparts. They lectured the timid Biden administration diplomats about American toxicity and hypocrisy. And they have defiantly refused to explain why and how their virology lab birthed the COVID-19 virus that has killed tens of millions worldwide. 4) In June 2021, in response to Russian cyberattacks against the United States, Biden meekly asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to at least make off-limits certain critical American infrastructure. 5) When asked what he would do if Russia invaded Ukraine, Biden replied that the reaction would depend on whether the Russians conducted a "minor incursion." 6) Between 2021 and 2022, Biden serially insulted and bragged that he would not meet Mohammed bin Salman, the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia, and one of our oldest and most valuable allies in the Middle East. 7) For much of 2021, the Biden administration made it known that it was eager and ready to offer concessions to reenter the dangerous Iran nuclear deal--at a time when Iran has joined China and Russia in a new geostrategic partnership. 8) Almost immediately upon inauguration, the administration moved the United States away from Israel, restored financial aid to radical Palestinians, and both publicly and privately alienated the current Benjamin Netanyahu government. 9) In serial fashion, Biden stopped all construction on the border wall and opened the border. During the 2019 Democratic presidential primary, Biden made it known that illegal aliens were welcome to enter the United States--some 6-7 million did. He reinstated "catch and release." And he did nothing about the Mexican cartel importation of fentanyl that has recently killed over 100,000 Americans per year. 10) In the last two years, the Pentagon has embarked on a woke agenda. The Army is short by 15,000 in its annual recruitment quota. The defense budget has not kept up with inflation. One of the greatest intelligence leaks in U.S. history just occurred from the Pentagon. The Pentagon refused to admit culpability and misled the country about Afghanistan and the Chinese spy balloon flight. The current chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff called his Chinese communist counterpart and head of the People's Liberation Army to advise him that the U.S. military would warn the Chinese if it determined an order from its commander in chief, former President Donald Trump, was inappropriate. This list of these self-inflicted disasters could be easily expanded. But the examples explain well enough why our emboldened enemies do not fear us, our triangulating allies judge us unreliable, and calculating neutrals assume America is in descent and too dangerous to join. Yet without America, the result is a new Chinese order in which, to quote the historian Thucydides, "The strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must." The abyss? Is it really that bad in Israel? It all centers on judicial reform. Extreme leftists protested proposed reforms by rioting in the streets. Others on the left protested peacefully but in large numbers. Like the nation’s president, many speak of civil war and anarchy. Protests occurred in places you would never expect. Elite military officers walked off the job one Sunday in March. Many of Israel’s reservists have refused to report for duty. Meanwhile, Israel’s enemies watch and feel emboldened. Terrorists rampaged within Israel, and a missile barrage hit from without. The result of all this has been to effectively thrust us forward on God’s end-times timeline. Benjamin Netanyahu’s government won the majority in the last election partly because they promised the very judicial reforms now being protested. Voters chose the conservative coalition, not despite such reforms, but at least partly because of them. The reforms would allow the Knesset (Israel’s parliament) to overrule Supreme Court decisions. The Knesset would also be given more of a say in who becomes a member of that court. When Americans hear that a parliamentary body would have the ability to overrule the Supreme Court, they usually think, “That’s unconstitutional!” They forget that Israel has no constitution. And Israel’s present method for choosing members of the Supreme Court mostly leaves out any form of accountability to the people. Even with its flaws, I prefer our system. When a Court vacancy occurs in the United States, the President nominates a replacement. The Senate can then either confirm the nominee or not. The people elect the President. The people also choose Senators. So, ultimately, members of the US Supreme Court, along with other federal judges, are chosen by elected representatives of the people. It doesn’t work that way in Israel. There, Supreme Court judges are chosen by something called the “Judicial Selection Committee.” The majority in the Knesset only holds two of the nine positions on the committee. In other words, the people have almost no say in the matter at all. Without a Constitution, Israel’s courts have no guardrails. They began to realize their overwhelming power during the time of a man named Aharon Barak. He became a member of Israel’s Supreme Court in 1978 and served as the Court’s president from 1995 until 2006. He changed everything. He praised what he called, “judicial legislation.” He called “judicial lawmaking… the task of a supreme court.” In other words, forget democracy. Forget government of, by, and for the people. Instead, an unelected few “legislate” for everyone else. Barak also eliminated previous constraints on the kind of cases the Court could take up. Presently, Israel is stuck with a court chosen by elites and not the people. That court can take up any issue it wants, overriding the will of the nation’s elected leaders, while passing its own laws. Does Israel need judicial reform? It absolutely needs it! We often call that nation the only working democracy in the Middle East. But Israel’s Supreme Court presently has the same power as Iran’s mullahs. They can undo anything Israel’s democratically chosen representatives do and replace those laws with laws of the court’s own making. In the absence of a constitution, the answer seems to be to make the judiciary more accountable to the people through their elected representatives in the Knesset. On March 27th, Prime Minister Netanyahu temporarily withdrew his reform proposals. Maybe during this pause, they can figure out a better approach. But make no mistake. Without reform, the 15 judges of Israel’s Supreme Court hold absolute power. And that is incompatible with the basic premise of democracy. A final word here. This is not the end of Israel. What Satan means for evil, God will use for good. And He will keep His promises. The Trump trial will serve at least three purposes: to discredit and politically assassinate Trump; to interfere with the upcoming elections; and to advance a tyrannical agenda. Just look at what the White House has done in the weeks leading up to the indictment and arraignment of Trump under the cover of the media. Funding the war in Ukraine without Congressional approval; New government-forced clean energy projects; Pressure to force more gun control; Affirming transgendered children; Proclaiming Transgender Day of Visibility; $7 billion for climate change in Africa; Regional bank regulation changes; Government incentives for Electric Cars; Key appointments to boards and commissions; Advancing offshore wind opportunities; Banning gas stoves; A billion dollars for economic empowerment of women; Handing government land to environmentalists…these are just a few of the nearly 700 web pages of actions by the White House. Not to mention the bad economy, lack of border security, and crime. Look for opposition and vetoes of legislation from the House—things like passing legislation to undo the economy busting, inflation boosting of Biden’s energy policies; The World Health Organization Withdrawal Act; Protecting America’s farmland from China; Prohibiting certain transactions between persons in the US and adversaries, like China; and many more. Under the cover of the Trump trial antics, legal gamesmanship and political theatre, there will be many leftist agenda items advanced that you many or may not hear about. Many of them will involve restricting your rights through healthcare, climate control, gun control, administrative agencies like the IRS, FBI and so on. More will be said and done to accuse people of racism, antisemitism, Nazism, bigotry and so on. John 3:19-21 says, “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” And 1 Peter 5:8 encourages: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.” We all need to be vigilant because these people who are ruled by the forces of darkness and principalities of the air will use every opportunity to establish their domain over any and all. Foremost in our Christian experience, we need truth. As followers of Jesus Christ, we need to be what we say we are, both privately and publicly. When the apostle Paul wrote about putting on the armor of God, he began with the belt of truth. He said, “Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth” (Ephesians 6:14 NLT). We could call it the utility belt of truth. This represents a life and mind that are pulled together and ready to serve for the glory of God. It speaks of integrity. The opposite of integrity is duplicity. Duplicity is hypocrisy. It’s trying to live a double life. This is what weakens so many Christians today. James says, “You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God” (4:4 NLT). Trying to live in two worlds just doesn’t work. When we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we join God’s army, so to speak. We’re no longer civilians; we’re under the command of the captain of our salvation, Jesus Christ. Of course, we have given up certain privileges, but we have gained far more. If we haven’t put on the belt of truth, then all other pieces of spiritual armor will become somewhat irrelevant. We will be worthless and immobilized. Duplicity and hypocrisy weaken our witness to a watching world. We need the belt of truth. We need integrity before God.
