16 “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.”(1st Peter 4:16-19
 
Can persecution come to America? Its beginnings are already here if you look around you. We see where anything that speaks of God or His Holy Word, brings condemnation from a dying, rebellious world.
 
I remember a report in our near past, of one courageous woman in Kentucky, who would not bow to judicial pressure to issue same sex marriage licenses to gay couples. In this couples do circumvent clear biblical morality. Our country and it's leaders have gone rogue in subjecting this country to laws that were not meant for a free people. I am reminded of what the founding fathers wrote when they broke away from the tyranny of England in the Declaration of Independence:
 
“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”
 
How can we continue to live under government tyranny without taking back what we loaned to others in the government to represent us...? Is it so far gone that we have not got the power to take back our own government? I find this the fault of the pastors that stand in our pulpits that have failed to preach and stand for righteousness and fire up their congregation and men of good will to stand for what is right and what this country was founded upon. I'm not advocating revolution, although I'm sure there are many people are just about fed up with this direction the country is headed in. I'm reminded of a quote by our 3rd President of the USA when he said:
 
“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants” Thomas Jefferson
 
And let no one be mistaken, there are men who believe in this country and will take up arms to defend her. I believe that was what the implementation of JADE HELM was all about, because the powers that be, knew that the American people were getting fed up. This will promote more persecution and marshal law, and if you are labeled a right-wing extremist, a conservative, religious, a Christian, or a patriot, then you have been branded as a threat to the government.
 
You may not think of yourself as a “domestic right-wing extremist”, and I certainly do not, but the truth is that patriotic Americans and conservative Christians have been repeatedly labeled as “potential terrorists” since this present so called “POTUS” became president. If this had just happened one time, it would be easy to dismiss. Sadly, there has been a steady pattern of this happening over the past several years. Large groups of people that are the heart and soul of this country have been systematically demonized over the past several years. When you consider what history has taught us, it is absolutely chilling to think about what this could eventually lead to. Is this what those reports of FEMA camps, mass coffins, and NSA spying on every person's personal information leading to....possible PERSECUTION?
 
THE FIRST AMENDMENT UNDER ATTACK
 
We have been given unalienable rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution. The ACLU from their own website describes what we call the 1st Amendment to the Constitution:
 
 “Our country's founders -- who were of different religious backgrounds themselves -- knew the best way to protect religious liberty was to keep the government out of religion. So they created the First Amendment -- to guarantee the separation of church and state. This fundamental freedom is a major reason why the U.S. has managed to avoid a lot of the religious conflicts that have torn so many other nations apart.
 
The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment prohibits government from encouraging or promoting ("establishing") religion in any way. That's why we don't have an official religion of the United States.”
 
Most everything in the above quote is correct, but the point missed from the above clause that even the ACLU turns a blind eye to is that the government protects the free exercise of ones own religion. We have freedom of religion, not freedom FROM religion. The statement of separation of church and state is not found in our original documents, but came from a letter from Thomas Jefferson to a set of Christian pastors who worried about a theocracy coming to America. The phrase is lifted from this letter and is not part our governing laws, but you wouldn't know it by looking at the landscape of this country today.
 
GAY MARRIAGE FOUGHT IN KENTUCKY
 
So a firestorm that I spoke about above, has over time, developed over one little county clerk and several other businesses who stood on their religious freedom to not condone a practice that would conflict their conscious of religious freedom and the right to practice that freedom by rejecting a spuriously and flagrant violation of God's Holy Word. They stood on the clear commands of written laws given by God concerning the abomination of homosexual sins. They believed God when He said:
 
“22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” (Leviticus 18:22)
 
“24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;”(Romans 1:24-28)
 
9 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind”(1st Corinthians 6:9)
 
This business owners and government employee took their religious convictions seriously and would not violate their Christian beliefs and issue a piece of paper, bake a cake, or marry such condoning sin by their signature on a marriage license or giving a pass to flagrant violation of the Word of God. This part of the job of the woman in Kentucky was not present when she was elected to her position..Mind you, this lady is a Democrat and was sent to jail by a Republican judge, so the issue is not about Democrat vs. Republican ideology..No, it's about what this country was founded upon...Religious freedom!!! Some say that she should have resigned or vacated her elected post if it conflicted with her conscience. Yes, she could have rolled over and given consent by being absent from the duties she was lawfully elected to do, the baker could have baked that cake, or the minister marry two of the same sex, but would that not have said they were wrong in their beliefs by doing so? Would they not have been denying the Lord Jesus who wrote down His commandments for righteous living in public, or in private practice? I think it would have been so.
 
I got into a long back and forth debate on Facebook when this same question arose over whether the lady, Kim Davis was wrong in her actions to deny a marriage license to a gay couple. One thing I quickly learned, no matter what evidence you provide that God condemns this act of immorality so perverse in God's eyes as calling it an abomination, the liberal left, the Progressives (Communist, same thing) will try and shout you down. They will mock, curse God using expletives, start name calling, and I'm sure foam at the mouth as they rail against your God given beliefs of moral behavior according to God's Holy Word. It is their right to not believe (granted), but it also my right to believe...If they refuse to believe in the God of the Bible, that is their freedom to reject the message, but on the flip side, it is my right to believe and voice my opinions about what God says and quote scripture to back it up.
 
Each should have the respect of varied opinions and beliefs without resorting to verbal abuse. But get ready folks, if it happens when you speak anything of God even on Facebook, it will get exponentially worse as we grow closer to the judgment of God coming down on this country to the run-up of the Tribulation in any public forum. The godless masses won't tolerate anything that speaks of God in any form, and will brand those that do as bigots and haters. And to some degree, they already are doing so.
 
Just look at one case in point. See what is a happening in our armed forces? Our past POTUS...you know his name, informed the highest ranking military generals and admirals of our military, that if they couldn't support the repeal of “Don't Ask, Don't Tell” over homosexuality in the military, then they should resign. Many did resign. Chaplains have been ordered to not use the name of Jesus when counseling or ministering to any of our men and women in uniform. Religious freedom has been stifled in the public arena. This past Usurper in chief promoted unrighteous living at every turn, and he called himself a “christian”...fat chance. Not by definition of a “follower of Jesus Christ” he's not. The man worships at the altar of himself.
 
 HOW DID WE GET HERE?
 
This all began when this country through a decision by the Supreme Court to ban prayer in public schools back in the 1960s, which eventually led to the ruling over a “woman's right to choose” to have or not to have an abortion. It wasn't about freedom to choose, but one person denying the right of another person to life, even in her own womb. It's been a slippery slope from that point on. America has grown more Godless as time has progressed.
 
Then look at the past “Defense of Marriage Act” or DOMA that was law in this country and that usurper in chief, who took an oath to uphold the law, decided on which laws he would enforce and those he would look the other way and not enforce. At every turn, he made his own laws by executive order and failed to uphold the Constitution which is the LAW of the land. Of course, the argument can be made that we have elected our national moral condition decline by putting that man in office. Or that God has given us this man to bring the beginnings of His judgment upon a nation who has abused the freedoms given to them by God and turned their back on Who has blessed this nation like no other nation in all of man's history. Now we are in Obama 2.0 who is probably advising a mentally challenged “leader” in the White House
 
The freedoms that we have enjoyed since the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the Revolutionary War was won, now nigh 245 years is rapidly being shredded in the place of being “politically correct” and morally depraved. Almost no one trembles at the Word of God or before God Himself in our present society in America. We have become a proud, although broken generation, glorying in our self-esteem and positive thinking. Our self-centered idea of ourselves looks at flesh as if it were a god, but has lost respect for the true God. Since we do not need to fear Him, we do not respect Him and are therefore slowly replacing Him with an impersonal god more on our human level.
 
I saw that first hand in my aforementioned debate against a self expressed atheist who embraces Buddhist beliefs of man being his own god. I shudder to think what would have been the result if the exchange had been face to face. This person got so offensive in his language that if we had been sitting across from one another, I can envision him rising to strike with his fist. Like I mentioned, I believe that this same kind of intolerance for anything that is of God and His Word will find even more persecution as the Tribulation hour approaches. This object intolerance is of Satan, the devil.
 
Even now, pastors in churches have been jailed for speaking God's truth and the authorities have arrested them for hate speech. I find that ludicrous, as is it the same as warning a motorcyclist to wear a helmet to avoid splattering his head all over the pavement and in doing so it is called hate speech, because you infringe on his right to be a danger to himself? Men of conviction speak of God's law and sin to warn those who are lawless in their conduct toward a Holy God. They are concerned for their spiritual lives and wishing to follow the leading of God's Holy Spirit. But men do not want to be told that they are sinning. The Facebook page reinforced that concept, that men do not want to be told that what they are doing is wrong according to God's Word. Christians are just standing in their way of having a “good” time. We are stifling their ability to form a “utopia” on earth where everyone can be and do whatever they want to do, irregardless if it's right or wrong.
 
Jesus warned us in John :
 
1 “These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.” (John 16:1-3)
 
 Satan is working overtime, as he knows his time is running short, so if he is going to have any chance of winning over the one True God, he must make God out a liar and he is searching for anything that would accomplish this. He has been trying for almost 6000 years to avoid the penalty that he knows is coming. So he uses men against other men to attempt to thwart God's plan for mankind.
 
It all started with the people that God chose as His own, the people of Israel who gave us Jesus even in unbelief, where Christianity was born and has spread to the whole world. Christianity has flourished to the four corners of the globe to reaching every tribe and every nation in our modern world by means of telecommunications, television and the internet. Jesus proclaimed what we are seeing right now:
 
34“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
35 For I have come to "set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law."
36 And "a man's foes will be those of his own household."(Matthew 10:34-36)
 
We may face persecution in our jobs, because of our beliefs...again,see what has happened to Kim Davis in Kentucky? At times, we may receive social persecution within a community. We are often excluded from friendships that would normally be extended to us as they are to others who are not of the truth of God's Word. Sometimes our children face this more directly in school than we do in the neighborhood or market place. But it's out there waiting to invade our safe place and make our lives more uncomfortable.
 
 I wonder, as you are reading this, how many of us would have done as Kim Davis did? Would we have stood up to an angry crowd that I'm sure became abusive and loud when she followed her faith and conscience and would not issue gay marriage license? Or the baker who would not bake that cake for a gay couple, or the minister who would not marry the same? Would you have been willing to go to jail for the crime of religious freedom? Would you have gone along with the crowd, as deputy clerks did when they issued marriage license in her absence in fear of contempt of court of an unjust ruling in Kentucky past? It is a difficult choice that we all may have to make before Jesus comes for His chosen bride.
 
 Without a doubt, the most intense persecution will begin with those of a religious bent and culminates with the civil authorities. Christ received His most frequent attacks from the religious leaders, those with the greatest spiritual pretensions. The scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees all attempted to ostracize Him or destroy the validity of His teaching. In the end, the ecclesiastical authorities called upon the civil authorities to administer the savage beating and execution. As the Beast arises, we can expect its persecution to follow the same pattern.
 
PERSECUTION WILL GROW INTENSE

THE COMING TRIBULATION ON THE HORIZON
 
There will come a time, when a government that has been formed to cover the whole earth will arise and demand allegiance to laws and commands that are in direct conflict with God's commands. A religious authority that will proclaim that all should worship an idol that shall be erected in the Holy of Holies in the newly built Temple in Jerusalem.
 
 “15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” (Revelation 13:15-18)
 
I've often wondered what kind of image this false prophet will cause the whole world to worship this image. Obviously, the whole world cannot go to Jerusalem to bow before an idol much like what King Nebuchadnezzer in ancient Babylon when he set up his golden image. So how will this be accomplished? I don't really know, but a good friend of mine postulated that the only way that the whole world will be able to see and worship the beast of Revelation is through a television broadcast into every home.
 
Now we know that even today, Gallup Polling knows who is watching what program. Is it inconceivable to believe they will devise a means of tracking who is worshiping, and who is not? Will they be able to see into your living room and see how you respond, and if you bow or not? Seems far fetched in some aspects, but with technology the powers that be will figure out how to keep tabs on those who are loyal to the Beast Power and who are not...who will worship, and who will not. And if you worship, or take His mark, then that person is doomed for all eternity. Could the present Covid Vaccine be the pre-cursor to that same mark, of doing what the government tells you to do?
 
We in America have been virtually isolated from the evils that have grown rampant in the last several years in the rest of the world, but is it starting in America with the intolerance for anything that goes against the agenda that this New World Order elites envision. Will you compromise your morals and convictions and submit to their agenda? As we bump up to the coming of Jacob's troubles, known as the Tribulation, will it in fact get harder to be a patriotic American, a conservative, and a Christian? The answer is a resounding ….YES...yes, it will. How will you be able to stand firm....? Will you stand firm?
 
In this hour of man's last gasp of human government, when the persecution starts, you must arm yourself with weapons of war: ,
 
“10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”(Ephesians 6:10-18)
 
My friend, we could see persecution that could come knocking at your door, before Jesus comes back to remove His bride from this planet. Many pray, even as I do, that Jesus will come soon. Many point to this month as something major happening in the world. The coming of Jesus, the implosion of the economy of this fallen world, the nation of Israel going to war with Iran, and many other possibilities that very well could come to pass, but of the one that we all hope for, the coming of our Lord, what if it doesn't happen this month, or this year...what if God tarries and holds back His Son from coming based upon His perfect will? Then the above verses will take on a completely urgent need and meaning. I pray Jesus is ready to burst on the scene, but prepared to be fully armed with my weapons of spiritual warfare.
 
What about the rest of you? Those who see the world going to “hell in a hand-basket”. What will you do when millions of people suddenly disappear and the powers that be promote a lie to explain it. Will you believe the lie? The morals of the nation called the USA and the rest of the world are becoming more permissive and evil beyond what you ever thought possible is right before your eyes. Can you imagine what it will be like, if the world becomes a 1000 times more wicked and dangerous with people dying all around you in the coming Tribulation? Or you yourself, your loved ones, and those you care about dying a painful, horrifying death what that will be like?
 
That is what is coming during the last 7 years of human history, called the Tribulation. How can you survive should you enter that time period...? Most likely, you won't survive. For the God of Heaven will rain down on earth an unimaginable wrath for the sins of mankind, that I for one, do not wish to be here, and won't be, to witness. A madman called the Anti-Christ will be the complete dictator and terror of this God forsaken world and will destroy all who do not follow him, and worship him as a god. But Jesus wishes to give all who call upon His name in belief “VICTORY” over this world, and reign and rule with Him for a thousand years...How you say?
 
16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For sent not His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved”. (John 3:16-17)
 
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:8-13)
 
It's so simple, that a child can do it...become as a little child and believe on His name and follow Him in Spirit and in Truth. Persecution is coming, but we who stand on God's promises will overcome whatever is thrown our way...In Jesus Name.

In the year 1348, after more than a decade of war with France, King Edward III of England noticed that many knights who returned home from the front lines had become completely impoverished.
 
The war had taken a massive financial toll on Edward's men. Some of them had been captured in battle and forced to sell all of their property in order to ransom themselves. Others had become grievously wounded, and their permanent disabilities prevented them from earning a living.
 
So the King created a special foundation to care for some of these men, who became known as the 'Poor Knights'.
 
Those who were admitted into the foundation received an annual pension of 40 shillings, worth roughly $3,000 in today's money, plus free room and board at the College of St. George.
 
It was a nice idea. But naturally it didn't take long for Edward's pension fund to become mismanaged.
 
The pension fund was in such dire financial straits, in fact, that it was typically only able to provide for three 'poor knights' at a time.
 
Eventually- and I'm talking hundreds of years later- the pension was ultimately restructured (i.e. bailed out) by King Henry VIII, and later by his daughter Queen Elizabeth I.
 
Financial mismanagement and bailouts have been the common fate of pension funds throughout history.
 
Emperor Augustus of the Roman Empire, for example, established a retirement fund for his legionnaires called the Aerarium militare. But subsequent emperors couldn't resist dipping into the fund to pay for their lavish lifestyles and pet projects. So the aerarium ultimately went bust.
 
Today pension funds around the world are in a similar position- and this is not a controversial statement. Even the OECD acknowledges that the worldwide 'funding gap' of public and private pensions runs into the tens of trillions of dollars.
 
To put this figure in context, the United Nations projects that adaption costs from climate change will run approximately $10 trillion over the next thirty years.
 
Furthermore, the Institute of International Finance estimates that COVID-19 has cost the world a whopping $24 trillion.
 
And yet, according to the US government's own financial report, the long-term unfunded pension liability JUST for Social Security is $55.9 trillion- more than the cost of climate change and Covid-19 COMBINED.
 
I bring up the examples of Covid and climate change because they're two of the most vocalized issues in the world right now. Everyone is screaming about masks, vaccines, and the environment.
 
Yet hardly a word is uttered anymore about the pension crisis, even though, at least from an economic perspective, it completely dwarfs the other issues.
 
It also keeps getting worse.
 
Inflation, for example, is an enormous problem for Social Security.
 
Even before the pandemic, Social Security's key trust fund was projected to run out of money by the early 2030s.
 
But last year's Covid lockdowns meant that millions fewer people were employed and paying in to the Social Security system; that means a LOT less revenue for the program.
 
And now with inflation surging, Social Security has to make Cost of Living adjustments and increase the monthly benefits to its tens of millions of recipients.
 
These are pretty much the worst possible conditions for the long-term health of Social Security. And it means that the trust fund will likely run out of money even sooner than projected.
 
It's ironic that, last year, the Social Security administrators actually reduced their long-term inflation forecast.
 
In other words, the trust funds' projections are based on certain macroeconomic assumptions. And the administrators assumed that the inflation rate would be 2.4%.
 
Actual inflation is now 5.4% (according to the US Labor Department). And the long-term rate of inflation over the last 50 years has averaged 3.9%.
 
Here's another one: Social Security assumes that the real interest rate on its investments (i.e. the amount of money it earns AFTER inflation) will be 2.3%.
 
Wrong again! The actual real rate of return they're earning is now MINUS 3.9%. And the rate has been negative for YEARS.
 
So, some of the most critical assumptions that drive Social Security's long-term projections are completely wrong... meaning that the reality is probably worse than even they believe it to be.
 
And remember, they were already projecting that Social Security's primary trust fund will run out of money in the early 2030s, just over a decade away.
 
There's an even longer-term problem with Social Security, though.
 
The birth rate of the United States has been in steady decline since the late 1980s. And for the last several years it has continued to hit fresh record lows.
 
This isn't so much a problem now. But it creates an enormous problem 20-30 years from now.
 
A low birth rate means that there aren't enough people being born who, decades from now, will be in the work force paying into the system.
 
Social Security needs a steady, growing work force, with an average of 3 workers paying into the system to support 1 retiree receiving benefits.
 
This is known as the worker-to-retiree ratio, and Social Security tracks this very closely.
 
3:1 is the break even level. It's been well below that level for years, and is continuing to trend lower due to America's declining birth rate.
 
And that doesn't even take into consideration all the millions of jobs that will be lost in the coming decades due to automation, AI, and robotics.
 
The conclusions here are pretty obvious:
 
1) This problem is objectively enormous.
 
Public pensions around the world, from the US to Europe to Japan, are in deep financial trouble. And even private pensions are underfunded. The financial size of the problem completely dwarfs the other major issues of the day.
 
2) Tax hikes are inevitable, especially in the US.
 
The US right now is trying to model itself on the European welfare state. Well, payroll tax rates (i.e. taxes which fund public pensions) in places like France, Austria, Germany, etc. are DOUBLE what they are in the US.
 
So absolutely expect payroll tax rates in the Land of the Free to increase dramatically.
 
3) You have to take matters into your own hands.
 
The government isn't going to fix this; they'll continue to ignore the problem and make false promises because that's the politically expedient thing to do.
 
There are plenty of solutions, but the bottom line is that you'll have to set aside more money for retirement.
 
Use the tools at your disposal. Consider setting up, for example, a more robust, tax efficient retirement structure for qualifying income, like a solo 401(k).
 
This allows you to set aside more than $60,000 per year if you're over the age of 50. Plus you'll have more choices in the types of investments and speculations you can make, like real estate, cryptocurrency, royalties, and more.
 
No matter the structure, there's hardly any downside in making sure that you have more money set aside for your retirement.

Listening recently to the great Bible teacher, Les Feldick, on his television program that first aired sometime in the early 2000s, I heard him telling of when he and his wife visited Israel. The visit was in the mid 1990s, I think.
 
Les said that they were at a restaurant and a young, Jewish man approached them at their table. They were obviously visiting Americans, and the man, as I take it, wanted to quiz them a bit about the reason for their visit to his country.
 
Feldick said he learned through the introduction that the young man was a product of Yeshiva, the study institution for Jewish boys.
 
Their conversation somehow got around to the Jewish view of the Messiah and how each viewed who this person would be and what he would do—his role on behalf of Israel.
 
Les first explained that his view—as a Christian—is that the Messiah had already visited Israel. He was God’s Son, and would come again to institute the Millennial Kingdom, etc.
 
The Jewish man said, during their cordial conversation, that they didn’t believe Jesus had been their Messiah, and that the Jewish studies taught that Mashiach—the Messiah—will be a superhuman person, but not deity.
 
This brought to my thinking the visit Adolf Hitler reported at one point while he was Germany’s infamous Führer. Hitler said he was suddenly confronted by a being while sitting in his office. The visitor was a profoundly commanding figure that assured him, Hitler, that he would be the savior of Germany; he would restore Germany and its people to greatness.
 
Hitler described the personage as “Überman,” a man that transcended mere mortal men. The being was a superman, of sort, der Führer implied.
 
This reported visitation was brought to mind when remembering other research I’m doing for a novel I’m tentatively giving the title MESSIAH.
 
This is what the young Jewish man mentioned above was taught:
 
The mashiach will be a great political leader descended from King David (Jeremiah 23:5). The mashiach is often referred to as “mashiach ben David” (mashiach, son of David). He will be well-versed in Jewish law, and observant of its commandments (Isaiah 11:2–5). He will be a charismatic leader, inspiring others to follow his example. He will be a great military leader, who will win battles for Israel. He will be a great judge, who makes righteous decisions (Jeremiah 33:15). But above all, he will be a human being, not a god, demi-god or other supernatural being.
 
It has been said that in every generation, a person is born with the potential to be the mashiach. If the time is right for the messianic age within that person’s lifetime, then that person will be the mashiach. Hitler’s own, twisted vision of the super race (Aryan) was based largely on the demonically inspired writings of German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.
 
 In Der Wille zur Macht (“The Will to Power”), Nietzsche declares:
 
A daring and ruling race is building itself up…. The aim should be to prepare a transvaluation of values for this new man, —most highly gifted in intellect and will. This man—and the elite around him will become the “lords of the earth.”
 
Nietzsche’s concept of the coming “Übermensch” (superman) demonstrates Satan’s power to delude, deceive, and blind the human race to truth. Israel is no exception.
 
Because of the nation’s rejection of their Messiah, the Lord allowed them to become blinded by Satan for the time being—blinded to truth regarding who Jesus Christ is and what He truly means to Israel’s future. This is what Paul says about the matter:
 
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. (Romans 11:25) 
 
Mankind, as well as God’s chosen nation, the Jewish people, continues to long for someone—some system—to save them from some unknown fate they instinctively and fearfully sense is just beyond the immediate horizon. The Antichrist they will accept, Jesus has foretold. Him, Jesus, they rejected. The price will be paid for that rejection by the whole world of rebels because of their unbelief.
 
Thankfully, a remnant of Israel will be supernaturally saved, preserved to inherit the millennial kingdom. So will a remnant of Gentiles. All will then thrive under the King of all kings, the Lord Jesus Christ.
 
God’s Word promises that this phoney superman whom many will accept will be destroyed with the breath of the Saviour’s mouth while He breaks through the black clouds of evil at the time of Armageddon. He will speak the words that will end the ages-long wickedness of earth’s history. Again, I believe those words might well be the same as the Lord spoke that stormy day on the Sea of Galilee: “Peace, be still.”

 


 
If Only God Would Speak Clearly - Nathele Graham - [email protected]
 
God’s words are hard to figure out, aren’t they? If He would only speak clearly, we could understand what He means. Some people say that He doesn’t want us to understand Scripture so that’s why He makes it so difficult. Here’s some examples of how hard He makes it for us. Let’s start at the beginning. “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1. I know that sounds as if Scripture says that evolution is wrong, but that just can’t be true. Darwin had a theory that everything evolved over millions of years. Or was it billions of years? Doesn’t matter, the proof is that finches have different sized beaks. We know that somehow through the fantastical process of evolution, amoeba (I’m not sure where they came from) developed into fish with gills and fins. Some fish began the process of changing into land animals, and over time grew teeth, a digestive tract (very different from fish), and lost their scales. Those animals began changing and some grew fur, some grew feathers, some grew hooves, some grew paws, while others grew fingers and toes. Each has a respiratory system, digestive system, and reproductive system specific to its kind. Why wasn’t God specific when He described creation? His word says it took six literal days with no evolution involved. Scripture even tells us exactly who the creator was. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1-3. Jesus is “the Word”. The first chapter of Romans even makes it clear what happens when people reject God as the Creator. “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping thing. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” Romans 1:21-25. It goes on from there describing some very perverted sexual acts. Evolution is taught in schools as fact, rather than fiction, and we can see that Paul, writing by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, describes what’s happening today. Maybe God does speak clearly but we don’t believe Him.
 
Let’s look at another example. The Garden of Eden. What a beautiful place that must have been. Birds chirping, flowers blooming, and the topmost of all of Creation, Adam. The only “problem” is God had a rule. “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Genesis 2:16. What a cryptic message. Adam hadn’t been around very long, but now God warned of him dying. What could God possibly mean by “die”? Very cryptic. God seemed to have thought it wasn’t a good thing to die, so that should have been enough of a warning for Adam to stay away from that fruit. Adam was lonely, so God gave him a blessing. Eve. Adam loved her. He did tell her not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge, but she made a big mistake. She talked to Satan. Instead of believing God, she believed that liar. She told him that they weren’t to even touch the fruit or else they would die. It seems pretty clear to me what God said, but then I try not to question God even if I don’t fully understand. Right away, Satan became the authority and God was made out to be the liar. “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Genesis 3:4-5. Boy oh boy, did she come to understand the difference between good and evil…God is good and Satan is evil. By then it was too late. She had died. Oh, not physically, but spiritually. She was separated from God. So, Adam joined her in death. Why would he do that? Because he loved her. He joined her in sin rather than be parted from her forever. Eventually, humanity was saved from this curse. Jesus Christ, God incarnate, loved mankind enough to become sin in our place and shed His blood, thereby giving us the only way to live with Him forever. If only God had been clear in the beginning and told Adam not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge. Wait a minute. Let me go back and read that again. “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Genesis 2:16. Actually, God’s words are crystal clear. It’s Satan’s words that muddled the meaning.
 
Maybe that wasn’t a good example. God was clear about what He meant by disobedience and death. It’s just that Adam and Eve didn’t believe Him by faith. So, let’s look at another example of God not being at all clear about what He means. After Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden, they began to have children. Lots of children. That can happen when you live hundreds and hundreds of years. Those children had lots of children, and so on. Because of Adam’s sin, people began to turn away from God and sin was rampant. Bad sin. “And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.” Genesis 6:1-2. Somehow, through the ages people have again stopped believing God. The Holy Spirit told the men who wrote Scripture what to say. God said that angels began mating with human women, but humans have corrupted the meaning to say Seth’s sons married Cain’s daughters, and that’s why God destroyed all of creation in a flood. God is depicted as mean for destroying people, but they weren’t fully human. Much of Scripture cannot be understood unless the truth of Genesis 6 is seen as the fallen angels mating with humans. All of creation was corrupted by their evil doing. The only way God could keep His creation from being utterly corrupted was to send judgment. Noah and his family were genetically pure and honored God. So, God told Noah what to do. “And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.” Genesis 6:13-14. Why would this ark be necessary? Noah couldn’t really understand why God wanted this, but God clearly told him to build it. There was a river, but the ark was huge! It wouldn’t float on the river, but since God said to build an ark, Noah built an ark. The people all around saw the ark, but saw it as foolishness. Did they think it was just a new style of architecture? Any of the people who were genetically pure could have entered the ark and been saved, but only Noah and his family believed God. Noah entered the ark along with his family and the animals which God had sent. Then it rained. God said it would, but only Noah had trusted God even though he couldn’t have understood at the time what rain was. Because he believed God and obeyed, people and animals got a new start. Jesus said that at the end of time it would be like the days of Noah. Have you studied “transhumanism” and genetic manipulation? Once again this isn’t a good example of God not speaking clearly. Even though Noah couldn’t intellectually understand about rains and flood, he didn’t try to out-think God. Noah knew that when God said “Build an ark”, it was time to start building. Because Noah was obedient, creation was saved. Maybe we should be more like Noah and believe what God says, not what man interprets.
 
There are many accounts in Scripture of men not totally understanding what God meant, but because they didn’t act by their own understanding wonderful things resulted. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.” Hebrews 11:1-2. God clearly told Abraham that he and Sarah (who was past child-bearing age) would have a child in their old age. Instead of trusting God, they acted on their own understanding and Ishmael was born, but God meant Abraham and Sarah would have a son. Eventually, just as God clearly said, they did. Isaac was that son and because of him we have the nation of Israel and Jesus Christ was born through his lineage. Moses spoke to a burning bush and was told to lead the Children of Israel out of captivity. Did he know how that was to be accomplished? Not really. But he obeyed and reluctantly approached Pharaoh. Eventually the Israelites were set free and headed to the land which God promised to Abraham. The point is, God does speak clearly. It’s just people who confuse things when they try to put their own human understanding into play. Chapter 11 of the letter to the Hebrews is a roll call of people who believed God, and acted in faith to accomplish great things.
 
Scripture also is filled with prophecy. Sometimes it’s hard to understand, but it’s always accurate. For instance, when God spoke through the prophet Isaiah and said a virgin would give birth, that was hard to understand. Actually, to my human understanding it would be impossible. When the time was right, a young virgin named Mary became pregnant by the Holy Spirit, and Jesus was born. Jesus is fully God, because He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and fully human because Mary was human. Why is that important? When Eve had been confused by listening to Satan’s lies, she convinced Adam to eat the fruit. God had clearly told Adam not to eat it or else he would die. Eve was deceived, but Adam knew full well what he was doing when he ate the forbidden fruit. In that one act of disobedience, the entire creation fell. Adam’s blood was no longer untainted by sin. From that point on, sin was passed on genetically through the blood. All humans are descendants from Adam, so all human blood is corrupted. When Gabriel told Mary she would bear a child, she didn’t understand how, but was obedient. “Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:34-35. The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary, and a human became pregnant with God’s Son. Because Mary was willing to believe God, she gave birth to the Messiah…the Saviour of the world. All who believe in Him gain eternal life.
 
Jesus grew into manhood, and began His ministry on earth. Twelve men were chosen to follow him and learn to spread the Gospel to the whole world. These men followed Him for three years, and saw miracles and heard His teachings. They should have been experts in the Gospel! So, at their final meal together, they should have understood when Jesus told them He would soon leave them. He was going to prepare a place for them. “And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.” John 14:4. After three years, they should have understood exactly what the Lord meant. It was Thomas who spoke up and wanted to know what Jesus was talking about. They should have believed all they heard and saw, but they needed to have it spelled out clearly. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6. Does that clear things up for you? Only faith in Jesus Christ will bring eternal life. Mormonism won’t bring salvation, Buddhism won’t save, Mohammed cannot save, works won’t save, baptism won’t save, no denomination can save. Only Jesus can give eternal life. He made that very clear. It’s people who are confused by Satan and his lies. Only Faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ will bring salvation. God made that very clear many times in Scripture.
 
God included prophecy in Scripture in order to let us know how close we are to the end of time. Today, many prophecies are being fulfilled, and it’s amazing to see God’s words being made clear. Some ill-informed people would have us believe that Christians have replaced Israel in God’s eyes. Wrong. Yet another example of God speaking clearly and people mis-interpreting His truth. God said Israel would be re-established as a nation in their God-given land, and they are. God says there will be seven years of tribulation prior to the end of time. He also says Christians will be Raptured prior to the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, the final seven years. The events of Revelation, beginning in chapter 6, are being put in place today. Jesus gave a detailed description of the events leading to the end. He began by warning against deception. “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.” Matthew 24:4. The only way to avoid deception is to believe what God clearly said as recorded in Scriptures. Believe what He says and don’t misinterpret them using human understanding. The stage is being set, and is almost ready, for the Anti-Christ to place himself in leadership of the world. He will set himself above all gods, he will put an abomination in the Jewish temple (which will be re-built), and cause everyone to take his mark…the Mark of the Beast. It’s all being set in place now. God clearly says that Christians will be called Home prior to His wrath. “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” 1 Thessalonians 1:10. Believe God, and you’ll find hope and peace in these troubling times.
 
Study God’s word because He does speak clearly. The problem is people don’t hear clearly.

Daily Jot: Vaccine is a Hobson’s choice - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com
 
The dictionary defines Hobson’s Choice as “An apparently free choice that actually offers no alternative.” That’s what the government and big business are doing to Americans yet to be vaccinated for COVID 19. The Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act—the law that governs such things as emergency use vaccines—states that a condition on emergency use drugs includes “the option to accept or refuse administration of the product.” The Food and Drug Administration fact sheet states, “It is your choice to receive” the vaccine. The National Institutes of Health quotes the Nuremberg Code on experimental drugs, saying voluntary consent is “absolutely essential.” But if your job depends on getting the vaccine, is it really a choice?
 
There is a fine line here. The government can’t really come out and mandate an experimental vaccine. That would be an obvious violation of Constitutional rights. But the government can coerce or collaborate with the private sector to mandate the vaccine. Surely, there will be legal challenges to these types of mandates, especially those who deny food to people by not allowing entry into a restaurant without proof of vaccination, etc. This type of bullying is actually fascism—the very thing that those who are doing the bullying are accusing of the unvaccinated. I wonder if all employees of the government or companies mandating the vaccine were to strike indefinitely how long would these mandates last?
 
Democratic Party politicians, the media, and Hollywood celebrities have called the unvaccinated criminals and murderers, and have demanded putting them in prison. They say “follow the science.” But they refuse to acknowledge the most exact science—math. According to the CDC website: More than 163 million Americans are fully vaccinated. Of those, only 6,239 have been hospitalized with the China Flu, only 1,263 have died. Of the vaccinated who have been seriously ill or died, 74% are over 65. Among the vaccinated, only 1 out of 26,125 have gotten seriously ill. Among the vaccinated, only 1 in 129,000 have died. How can the unvaccinated be a threat to the vaccinated?
 
Getting the vaccine is your personal choice. It’s up to you. No judgment. But no one should be forced under the guise that it is their choice when it isn’t. Neither should they be demonized as fascists for resisting fascism. Fascism, communism, socialism are all satanic and humanistic challenges to God’s perfect liberty. They historically and unequivocally lead to tyranny and death. Galatians 5:1 says, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” You see, the vaccine is only the tool giving the façade of a Hobson’s Choice. Using the authority of law, another choice is to resist in the strongest terms the use of the vaccine to coerce tyranny.

Some people claim they’re seeking truth. They say they want to know the truth.
 
But if you were to say, “That’s amazing! I’d like to share some truth with you from the Bible,” they don’t want to hear it.
 
So you say, “Have you ever read it?”
 
“No.”
 
“Well, can I quote to you from it? Because Jesus said—”
 
“I don’t what to hear about what Jesus said. Put that away.” And suddenly they’re irritated and angry with you.
 
I suggest that such a person doesn’t want to know the truth. Because if they don’t believe the Bible is the Word of God, if they think it’s simply a bunch of made-up stories, then why would they care if you believe it? And why would they care if you quote from it?
 
When nonbelievers take offense to the Bible, it says to me they know there’s power in the message of the Bible.
 
It’s the same reason people take the Lord’s name in vain and why they punctuate a sentence with the holy name of Jesus Christ. They don’t invoke the name of anyone else. So in their own way, they’re acknowledging the power that’s in the name of Jesus Christ.
 
I think some people go to church because they like something peripheral about it, but they’re not really into a relationship with Christ himself. On the other hand, if a person really wants to know God, they will listen to the message of the gospel.
 
If you really want to know the truth, God will make Himself known to you. In Jeremiah 29:12–13 God said, “Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (NKJV).
 
God will reveal Himself to true seekers.
