The drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world government combining supercapitalism and Communism under the same tent, all under their control... Do I mean conspiracy? Yes, I do. I am convinced there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning, and incredibly evil in intent. Rep. Larry McDonald (1983) Before 1948 and going all the way back to the year AD70, the world lay relatively dormant (prophetically speaking). Of course, there would be the inevitable rise and fall of gentile empires and powers, however, mankind had little way of knowing where they were on God’s prophetic calendar apart from the seven church epochs. Since 1948, however, there has been an exponential increase of prophetic events across every spectrum of human activity which has culminated in an explosion of prophetic signs we now call the convergence. The convergence, put simply, means the coming together of all the disparate parts and pieces necessary for the last days to come about, and the formation of the final world government. For example, we have seen certain prophetic signs throughout the past two thousand years at varying times, and we might have had one or two things happening simultaneously. But it has only been in this past 73 years that we have seen all the signs increasing in both frequency and intensity like the onset of birth pangs. These are the birth pangs that are listed in the Olivet Discourse:
The end-state for all of Bible prophecy results in the triumphant return of Jesus Christ at the Second Coming back to the earth. At His first coming, for which the bible called the fullness of time, the Roman Empire ruled the known world. At His second coming, the Bible describes the world once again reaching another fullness of times and this time, under the thumb again of a revived Roman Empire. However, this new Roman Empire will not just rule the Mediterranean, but the world entire, this time aided by advanced technology and the whole host of hell. We are now coming up on the two-thousandth anniversary of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, and it would only make sense that we begin to see the signs of this new Roman Empire getting ready to rise again. And it is, albeit, in such a way that seems to baffle both watchers and skeptics alike. Since at least 1949, the revival of this new Roman Empire has been happening incrementally, as not to trigger any prophetic alarms by the general public. Nevertheless, we finally saw the culmination of this in 1993 with the Maastricht Treaty, and even then, did not see the Euro (currency) come into play until the year 2002. It's as if this slowed-down metamorphosis has the supernatural ability to both desensitize and disarm its audience at the same time it grows into the Beast it's destined to become. It seems as if there is something, or Someone, intentionally putting the brakes on this Roman revival from manifesting too early. For the time being, the US remains the global standard-bearer for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. However, since 9/11, we are seeing repeated and increasingly aggressive attempts to whittle this away. We are witnessing the implementation of totalitarianism at the city, state, national, and global levels- all aimed at undermining individual freedom and national sovereignty. These globalists are using crises to push communism and socialism as the solutions, all in the name of public well-being and social justice. However, this new "wokeness" is nothing more than repackaged cultural Marxism. Even worse, this is not just being done by governments any longer, but by a growing technocracy that is not answerable to anyone. I would have said prior to 2020, these repeated attempts to grab power ebbed and flowed depending on who was in office. However, since the intentional unleashing of the China virus in late 2019, the gloves have come off and these globalists are no longer hiding their intentions; they are now working feverishly to cement these Orwellian changes forever. Paradoxically, just when things seem to reach a breaking point, something relents and life just seems to go back to normal (or as normal as the 21st century can be). We watch with bated breath as some major news breaks, and then the world just sort of shrugs its shoulders and moves on. That is the surreal reality of living in the 21st century. According to Scripture, the final world government (as described in Daniel 2, 7, Revelation 13-18), will be headed by the Antichrist, aided by the False Prophet, and will control the entire world for a period of at most, seven years. Many emperors and kings in the past have tried in vain to conquer the world. Alexander the Great, the Roman Caesars, Genghis Khan, Napoleon, Adolph Hitler, Islamists, etc. have all had a go at it. And while their endeavors met with varying degrees of success, none ever conquered the entire world. Furthermore, none could even 100% control the territories they had already conquered. What will be different with this final government is that through the totalitarian policies being put in place today, along with the rapid advancements in information technology and artificial intelligence, this final Beast system will be able to control everything with 100% efficiency. This is the convergence we see coming together today. Nevertheless, this convergence did not happen overnight; it came in stages. The First World War saw the dismantlement of the Ottoman Empire and the repatriation of the Jewish people back to their ancient homeland. The Second World War saw the terrifying rise of the German Third Reich and the necessary reaction by European leaders to avoid that from ever happening again. Out of these two global events came a world government (the United Nations), the rebirth of the nation of Israel, a desire to reunify Europe, and a meteoric explosion of technological advancements across every sector. The convergence (listed below) marks the prophetic areas which are critical to Satan’s agenda achieving total global domination. The fact we are seeing the formation of these things even now should alert us to the lateness of the hour. Now, there are two key areas that will greatly expedite the world’s transition from our world today, to the final world government to come. The first is quantum computing. For those not very familiar with quantum technology, a single quantum computer could easily power everything in the list below and then some. Quantum computers are a thousand times faster and more powerful than even our most powerful computers today. With that said, there are at present around twenty major companies in the US alone that are rapidly developing quantum technologies. The second key area is the development of artificial intelligence (i.e., machine/deep learning). Along with quantum technologies, many nations and organizations are racing toward developing the first superior artificial intelligent system. With as digitally connected as the world is becoming, the development of quantum technologies will be critical to the Antichrist's ability to control, organize, and process an overwhelming amount of information. Artificial Intelligence will be critical in using that information to assert control over large areas of governance. These are the two new arms races for the 21st century. The fact these two technologies are linked hand in glove should testify to the terrifying power this final government will one day yield. If you want to know how one man could control all the buying and selling in the world at the same time, this is how it begins. Listed below are those disparate parts and pieces that are being developed (often independent of each other) but will come together at the right crisis. Global Government The rider on the White Horse (The First Beast) would come out of one of the below groups, seeing how they seem to be the present group of kingmakers. a. United Nations: anti-christian, anti-semitic, anti-freedom b. Council of Foreign Relations (CFR): anti-American, pro-globalism c. The Trilateral Commission: anti-christian, pro-globalism d. Bilderberg Group: pro-globalism Global Economy The rider on the Black Horse with the balances. An economic collapse and reset are coming. Something will have to give in order to get the world moved from our present model to the system of the Beast. a. The Great Reset b. The Fourth Industrial Revolution: “What the Fourth Industrial Revolution will lead to is a fusion of our physical, our digital, and our biological identities.” Klaus Schwab c. UN Agenda 2030: At its core, is about depopulating the planet in order to "save the planet." This UN Agenda (like that of 2021) purposely uses vague and highly interpretable language both for ambiguity and plausible deniability. d. Internet of Things (IoT): “The Internet of Things is not a concept; it is a network, the true technology-enabled Network of all networks.” — Edewede Oriwoh. If it can be automated, it will be automated. Global Finance: The Black Horse with the balances. Redesigning the economy will not be enough. There needs to be a complete overhaul of the 20th century-based fiat currencies, with the 21st-century digital ones. a. Basic Universal Income: everyone becomes dependent upon the state for living b. Cryptocurrencies: transitioning the world from fiat currencies to digital currencies c. Central Bank Digital Currencies: total government control over all finances Global Military: The Red Horse of War will sweep the world into realigning their militaries into regions, instead of individual nations. We have the below at present, this will likely be restructured to form some new military coalition a. UN Peacekeepers b. NATO c. EU Army Global Religion The Second Beast is described as having horns like a lamb, but speaking like a dragon. a. Luciferianism: “No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a Luciferian Initiation.” -David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations b. Roman Catholicism: The Roman Catholic Church with its headquarters at the Vatican, is the largest, well-organized, and internationally structured church system in the world, with a net value of over $30B. c. Chrislam: the Roman Catholic Church has led the charge in merging Christianity into Islam Assessment “Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.” (US billionaire David Rockefeller, in his Memoirs.) All of the above already exist in our world today and are gaining momentum by way of crisis-based governance. Realizing mankind would never unite without some kind of external threat, the globalists have long been championing the fear-mongering as early as the 1950s with the atomic arms race, the Cold War, global cooling, global warming, the war on terror, the undefinable climate change, and now, pandemics (both real and artificial). These so-called crises were designed to keep sovereign nations in a perpetual state of fear, in the hopes they would be more prone to giving up more and more of their national sovereignty. And while most of the world went along with this, the globalists could not get the US to fully come along. While most of these globalist groups all want the same thing, they remain fragmented and separated by varying interests internal to their respective organizations. It is my belief that the key to all the above coming together into a singular, cohesive organization, is the collapse of the United States. FTR, the collapse of the US will not come until the Rapture of the Church. The reason I believe this, is that in Matthew 24:36-41 and Luke 17:26-36, Jesus speaks of the time just before the end as having a sense of normalcy. Jesus stated that His return would catch the world off guard. There will be buying and selling, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage…and then sudden destruction would come upon them, and they will not escape. This certainly couldn’t be said of the time just prior to the Second Coming, because for the seven years leading up to Christ’s Second Coming the world will have undergone 21 of the most severe divine judgments ever recorded in human history. At present, we already have a global government. However, the UN is powerless without the full backing of the United States. At present, we have a global economy, which again, is hamstrung by US laws that protect US financial interests over other nations. As for global military and global religion, these two will not become a reality until after the Rapture. Just as we saw the wholesale abandonment of billions of dollars worth of military equipment in Afghanistan, after the Rapture, the US military arsenal will become a free-for-all for the remaining world powers. With the US in varying states of disarray and lawlessness, I expect that the EU, China, and Russia will cross the pond and take control of our nuclear assets, our weapon systems, submarines, aircraft carriers, aircraft, etc. rather quickly. This will be how they rapidly arm themselves and become the well-armed powerbrokers in the last days. NATO will be re-designated to become the new EU Defence force. Russia (newly armed and emboldened) will decide to join with Turkey and Iran and take out Israel. With the US no longer a threat, China will consolidate its control over the entirety of Asia. I believe that after the Rapture of the Church, the US will collapse and the ensuing vacuum our absence creates, will lead the way for all of the above to fall in line rather quickly. It will be the perfect crisis the globalists have been waiting for. In terms of global reach and the willingness to acquiesce, the Roman Catholic Church will be the perfect organization to promote a new, evolved global religion that will militantly promote this new, ecumenical, global faith. Conclusion We’ve spent a good deal of time dealing with the convergence and all the parts and pieces that are coming together for that to happen. Juxtaposed to the convergence, however, is that we have also arrived at a prophetic stopping point. These are the prophetic events the Bible says must happen, but have not happened yet, and won’t happen so long as the Church remains on the earth. These are: 1. The identity of the Antichrist (2 Thess. 2:3-8) 2. The Mark of the Beast (Rev. 13:16-18) 3. The Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38-39) 4. The location of a future Babylon (Rev. 18) 5. The revived Roman Empire (Daniel 2:33, 41-43, 7:7, 20, Rev. 13:1-2) 6. The final version of the Whore (Beast’s religious system) (Rev. 17) Although the Rapture of the Church does not officially begin the seven-year tribulation, it certainly opens the door for these mysterious events to begin to manifest. So it is where we are now in 2021 that this mystery of lawlessness, still remains a mystery. It will proceed no further until we are gone. Which got me thinking about something else. When Jesus gave the Great Commission, His parting guidance to the apostles was to make disciples of every nation. On one level, He wanted to save as many people as they could from eternal damnation. I think on another level, the Great Commission was also designed to throw a monkey wrench into Satan's kingdom at the Rapture. In other words, because of the unknown timing of the Rapture (and its second and third-order effects), the Great Commission was designed to introduce chaos and sabotage Satan’s kingdoms. Perhaps this is why we are seeing these globalists working overtime to remove every vestige of God from government, academia, social media, entertainment, education, and private enterprise. Perhaps this is why we are seeing the Great Fence Shaking causing Christians and so-called Christians to finally picking a side. Since God controls the timing of the Rapture, He becomes the agent of chaos, who ultimately throws this world into a death spiral at the fullness of time. The schemes and machinations of the world leaders currently pushing satanically inspired globalism, as clever as they think they are, will amount to nothing in God's overarching strategy. A thousand years before Christ walked the earth God had David pen these words regarding their plans which will come to nothing in the end. Why are the nations restless And the peoples plotting in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers conspire together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let’s tear their shackles apart And throw their ropes away from us!” He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying, “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.” “I will announce the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have fathered You. Ask it of Me, and I will certainly give the nations as Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.’” Now then, you kings, use insight; Let yourselves be instructed, you judges of the earth. That is saying a lot, because Biden has a long history of doing sickening things. For the past couple of hours I have been trying to find the right words to put what we just witnessed into proper perspective. This truly is one of the most pivotal moments in American history, and there will be no turning back after this. We are descending into full-blown tyranny, and I have literally felt sick to my stomach as I have pondered the ramifications. What remained of the country that so many of us once loved is being absolutely eviscerated, and it is deeply heartbreaking to watch it happen. The new mandates that Biden has decided to impose on the entire country aren’t just un-American. The word “evil” gets thrown around a lot these days, but in this case it perfectly fits the situation. No government has the right to try to put something into your body by force. Many have pointed out that such mandates are uncomfortably close to physical rape, and there is absolutely no place for such mandates in a free and just society. According to CNN, Biden’s offensive new mandates “could apply to as many as 100 million Americans”, but I have a feeling that the true number could be even higher than that. Biden’s new mandates apply to all federal employees and contractors, anyone that works at any business that has 100 or more employees, and to the entire health care industry. Previously, the Biden administration had allowed federal workers that didn’t want to be vaccinated the option of submitting to regular testing instead, but now the option for testing is out the window… President Biden on Thursday signed an executive order mandating that all federal employees and contractors get vaccinated against COVID-19, with no exceptions for those who agree to regular testing for the virus, according to a source familiar with the plans. Vast numbers of federal employees will now be faced with the heartbreaking choice of either taking an injection that they do not want or giving up their careers. But Biden didn’t stop there. Shockingly, he has decided to target more than 80 million Americans that work for large companies that employ at least 100 workers. The following comes from the official White House website… The Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is developing a rule that will require all employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workforce is fully vaccinated or require any workers who remain unvaccinated to produce a negative test result on at least a weekly basis before coming to work. OSHA will issue an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) to implement this requirement. This requirement will impact over 80 million workers in private sector businesses with 100+ employees. As you read that, you probably thought to yourself that this can’t possibly be legal. And you would be right. But the Biden administration is probably counting on getting in front of some friendly judges that will issue favorable rulings that will make it “legal”. On top of all this, the Biden administration is also going after any health care institutions that accept Medicaid or Medicare. Here is more from the official White House website… The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is taking action to require COVID-19 vaccinations for workers in most health care settings that receive Medicare or Medicaid reimbursement, including but not limited to hospitals, dialysis facilities, ambulatory surgical settings, and home health agencies. This action builds on the vaccination requirement for nursing facilities recently announced by CMS, and will apply to nursing home staff as well as staff in hospitals and other CMS-regulated settings, including clinical staff, individuals providing services under arrangements, volunteers, and staff who are not involved in direct patient, resident, or client care. These requirements will apply to approximately 50,000 providers and cover a majority of health care workers across the country. Basically, this covers pretty much the entire health care industry in this country. Any health care worker that refuses to get an injection won’t just lose a job. In essence, they will become banned from ever working in their chosen field ever again. There is much more to Biden’s plan, and you can read all about it right here. In his speech announcing these new mandates, Biden made it quite clear what he thinks about our “freedoms”… “This is not about freedom or personal choice,” Biden said. “It’s about protecting yourself and those around you.” Others on his side of the political spectrum have also spoken very derisively about freedom in recent days. Sadly, there are millions of Americans that actually support this sort of tyrannical approach. Of course before he entered the White House Biden promised us that this would never happen. For example, he made the following statement back in December… While speaking in Wilmington, Del., on Dec. 4, 2020, Biden was asked whether COVID vaccinations should be mandatory. He said, “No, I don’t think it should be mandatory. I wouldn’t demand it to be mandatory.” And as recently as July, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was speaking against any sort of a federal mandate… In July, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters that a federal vaccine mandate was “not the role of the federal government.” She was right when she said that. But now here in September she is strongly defending what Biden has just done. Following Biden’s speech, there was a tremendous explosion of anger on social media, because people are recognizing that this is full-blown tyranny. We have come to a moment when none of our national leaders can afford to be silent. This is a moment that will fundamentally change our country forever, and history will judge those that refuse to take a stand very harshly. Fortunately, some national leaders are already speaking out. For example, Representative Thomas Massie has correctly recognized that Biden’s mandates are clearly unconstitutional… Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky blasted Biden’s order as ‘unconstitutional.’ ‘OSHA has no more authority to enforce this (there’s no statutory authorization) than CDC had to issue the eviction moratorium,’ Massie said. ‘Which is to say they both have ZERO authority to do these things. Congress makes the laws in a constitutional republic.’ And a couple of governors are already threatening to take the Biden administration to court. In fact, Kristi Noem says that she has her legal team standing by… Reacting to the news, Republican South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem said her “legal team is standing by ready to file our lawsuit the minute @joebiden files his unconstitutional rule.” “This gross example of federal intrusion will not stand,” she said. Georgia Governor Brian Kemp also sounds like he is ready for a legal fight… She was joined by fellow Republican Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, who wrote ‘I will pursue every legal option available to the state of Georgia to stop this blatantly unlawful overreach by the Biden administration’ on Twitter Thursday evening. Unfortunately, the outcome of such cases is usually determined by the political leanings of the judges that are assigned to them. In this country, most judges simply do whatever they feel like doing. So most of the time liberal judges issue rulings that liberals would like, and conservative judges issue rulings that conservatives would like. Needless to say, it shouldn’t work that way, but at this point our judiciary has become just about as lawless as our society as a whole. And lawless societies almost always end up descending into tyranny, and that is happening to us right now. These are such dark days for our nation, and they are only going to get darker. For years, I have been pleading for the American people to wake up because our liberties and freedoms were steadily being eroded. Now we have gotten to a point where the guy in the White House is enthusiastically taking a sledgehammer to the few liberties and freedoms that we still have left, and unless the American people stand up and object they will soon be totally gone. Elizabeth Warren (D–Mass.) are pushing a vast, intrusive financial surveillance system in the name of closing the “tax gap.” But don’t worry: There’s no need to fear if you’ve got nothing to hide. “For already compliant taxpayers, the only effect of this regime is to provide easy access to summary information on financial accounts and to decrease the likelihood of costly ‘no fault’ examinations,” the Treasury Department said this May in a nakedly authoritarian document called “The American Families Plan Tax Compliance Agenda.” But “for non-compliant taxpayers,” the department continues, “this regime would encourage voluntary compliance as evaders realize that the risk of evasion being detected has risen noticeably.” The administration’s proposed “comprehensive financial account reporting regime” would dramatically increase the types of financial institutions and transactions exposed to the feds’ prying eyes. “All business and personal accounts from financial institutions, including bank, loan, and investment accounts,” would be forced to “report gross inflows and outflows” to the IRS. And not just bank accounts: The dragnet would now include PayPal, settlement companies, and “crypto-asset exchanges,” for starters. The new domestic surveillance program, which requires congressional approval, is one prong of a tripartite strategy for transforming the entire global financial system into a harmonious, haven-free collection funnel to the IRS. The second part, which has taken up the bulk of Biden’s multilateral diplomacy thus far, is getting the industrialized world to agree on a global minimum corporate tax of 15 percent while setting up a system to prevent multinational companies from registering their profits in the lowest-tax jurisdictions. The Bible tells us that the day will come in the future where there will be a global system that will track all of humanity through buying, selling, and trading with the means of tracking them through a mark, name, or number placed in or on the right hand or forehead. Once this system has been implemented into society no transactions will go under the radar as the tyrannical leadership under the Antichrist will know whether or not you have pledged your allegiance to him and his religion by accepting or rejecting the “Mark of the Beast” Of course, we aren’t implying that Biden is the Antichrist and this isn’t the “Mark of the Beast, but we are saying that this is yet another stepping stone in this direction of acceptance. However, there are some clues that seem to help show the possible order of their happening. We are dependent on the foreknowledge of God and His Word revealed to even have an idea about these end times. It brings to mind that proverb that says, “The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10), a proverb worth thoughtful attention and more so in these days. The order of events could possibly be in this manner:
Let’s discuss these events more fully from Scripture and current events, attempting to relate them properly to each other and their visible evidence in the world. The first one, “the falling away,” is directly stated in 2 Thessalonians 2:3: “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition. It is not just a turning away from the faith, but a broader impact of total lawlessness is the meaning. Law and order are blatantly rejected, and injustice is the rule of the day. Isaiah 5:20 describes it well: “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness.” The highest leader of the world’s superpower, the United States of America, has openly and avidly promoted sexual perversion as an honorable way of life and demands the nation to legalize its equality with moral people. Even the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Roberts, has voted with the majority to rule that there can be no discrimination against any sexual immorality for any reason. It causes one to wonder how close we are to the likeness of Sodom when Lot was removed from that city’s judgment. The second event is the favorable condition of social and economic life even though truth and morality are being rejected. Luke 17:26-30 describes that condition when the Son of Man appears: “And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.” You can look at the accounts of Noah in Genesis 6:5 and of Lot in Genesis 18-19 and know that they were extremely evil and immoral to their depths. How could they be so seemingly party-minded in the midst of such abounding evil? It is spelled out in 1 Corinthians 15:32b, where the world’s conclusion is total hopelessness: “…If the dead do not rise, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!” This is the sad picture of those who deny the existence of God. Truly it is so that “the fool has said in his heart, ‘there is no God'” (Psalm 14:1). Third in the list is that great event of the “snatching out” from the world that restraining entity which has been standing in the way of, yet waning, increasing approach of lawlessness and evil. It is told in 2 Thessalonians 2:7 as a preface to the revealing of that lawless one: “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” Other Scriptures tell us that believers have the indwelling Spirit of God, and where He is, so are we, the born-again believers. So it cannot be argued that this “taking the Restrainer out of the way of the lawless one” is not that body of Christ, the believing church. Details of that action are told in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, briefly: “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” It is an interesting truth that the Apostle Paul, who recorded this truth, will be among those whom we join in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air (along with many other saints from ages past). This departure of the only authority that can hold back evil by powerful displays of righteousness is God’s plan for the ultimate destruction of the Antichrist when he is thrown alive into the lake of fire to burn forever and ever, as noted at the end of Revelation 19. The fourth event in this possible order is the revealing of that lawless one, the Antichrist. He appears on the scene, having somehow acquired tremendous authority from the nations, as he “confirms a covenant with many.” It will be in the United Nations, most likely. Will he have become the UN Secretary-General, or will he have been given that authority after the millions of believers are suddenly absent from the world, and he is tagged as the one whom those left behind choose to trust? He will not be an obscure person having had no public exposure, but one who aspires to the position, no doubt. When Jesus begins to preview the seven years of tribulation and authorizes the various acts of tribulation in Revelation 6, He leads off with the appearance of a man on a white horse, bearing a bow but with no arrows. He is “conquering and will continue to conquer,” thus projecting his actions during the coming seven years. Daniel 9:26-27 tells us of this man’s link to the old Roman Empire, which rises again to become the seventh head of the Beast. This one on the white horse is truly revealed when he shuts down the temple worship and continues on to totally captivate the top place in this New World Order as the lone eighth head of the Beast, as Revelation 17 sums up his tenure. That fifth action listed is the confirmation of a covenant told in Daniel 9:27. How formal this will be is not told, nor how the Antichrist will come into such authority, but as mentioned in the context above, it suggests that he is not some obscure person who suddenly shows up. Is he the one whom Henry Kissinger declared, “He has been primed to lead us into a New World Order,” after the 2008 election? At any rate, believers will not see his revealing, for he won’t appear until the “falling away” is completed and the saints are “snatched up.” Sixth in the list is that utterance of relief after the covenant is confirmed for seven years: “Peace and safety,” as Paul reported in 1 Thessalonians 5:3. Who has been longing for peace for these many years after May 14, 1948? Israel, of course. When that happened, immediately the Islamic opposition began a running warfare to try to “wipe them off the face of the earth” (Psalm 83). That seventh event is the Gog-Magog invasion of Israel, as described in Ezekiel 38-39. Gog has his back turned from the Middle East, Ezekiel says, in humility and shame, apparently. But then, he sees an opportunity when it appears Israel is as a city without walls, that is, without defenses. As long as America was able to defend Israel, Gog (Russia) would not attack. Now, America’s new “leadership” is no threat to the invasion. It will certainly be so after the Rapture of the church, for the United States will really be unable to defend Israel then. Russia’s back was turned away when the Soviet Union fell apart and failure shamed them before the world, at least in their own eyes, I am sure. It will be a very short war, as Ezekiel tells it. But it will eliminate the Russian threat and the Islamic opposition to the Antichrist’s forward march to his own demise, as told in Revelation 19. Also, this seems to fit here because Israel then has “peace” and is unwary of the enemy. The next two events, 8th and 9th, are actually not separate. The eighth, Israel is deceived by the Antichrist’s favorable attention to their desires, and it makes them think he must be the Messiah, for he now has approved the construction of the new temple, that ninth item of end-time conclusion. Jews have been ready with materials to rebuild and operate the temple just as their orthodoxy calls for it. The tenth event has a climatic effect upon the whole scenario, for this is when the deceiver, the Antichrist, makes known his true person and shuts down the temple worship, declaring himself God, even standing in the holy place and demanding the people’s worship. This is that “abomination of desolation” spoken of by Daniel in Daniel 9:27. That reference says it will happen halfway through the seven years of “Jacob’s trouble,” so named at Jeremiah 30:7. This is authorized by Jesus when He opens that sixth seal, previewing that last half of the tribulation, starting at Revelation 13. In this phase of the end-time, the false prophet is introduced, and the mark of the beast is instituted to be taken or suffer death. The ministry of the 144,000 Jewish evangelists will have won many to the Messiah during that first half of the seven years, and these are those shown standing before the Lord, souls in white robes from all tribes, peoples and nations. They will not have taken the mark of the Beast. No believers of the church age will be there, but they will be with the Lord, having been resurrected when He took away the One who restrained the evil until it was that person’s time. While their mother and father, older sister and younger brother moved from Ohio to Arizona, Mom and Aunt Dory married locally and stayed locally on their respective farms, less than two miles apart. All their lives. Mom was the matriarch of our family. She kept the household, handled the books for Dad’s businesses, and raised me and my brothers to the very best of her ability. Mom never drank or smoked. Aunt Dory was a bit more adventurous, working at the Ravenna Army Ammunitions Plant during World War II, a homemaker, a farm wife, and for much of her life a chain smoker, card player and she knew the taste of alcohol. Two very different women, but both very classy. Mom was a church goer and very involved in both church and school. Aunt Dory rarely attended church until much later in life, but she had a strong relationship with the Lord. She had friends outside the small community where we lived. Both were immaculate house keepers. Rarely was anything out of place. They were like the June Cleavers of Paris Township. I remember how they would wear dresses while doing housework. Often they would talk about how grain sacks at the feed mill were used to sow dresses and that everyone knew when the next group of new sacks were due. They would send their husbands to the feed mill to get first dibs on the new arrivals. Very similar were all the giveaways in soap boxes. Glassware was often packed in soap boxes as incentive to buy. We still have some of those sets of glasses with maple leaves printed on them that were collected over months of buying certain kinds of soap. Mom and Aunt Dory loved to shop together and that was pretty much a weekly thing, even if they didn’t buy anything. Usually, my cousin Steve and me would end up with the same shirt, toy or some such thing—another story, another day. But one thing Mom and Aunt Dory did daily was talk on the phone. Back then we had party lines, but they didn’t care. They would talk for seemingly hours. I know it wasn’t that long, but it seemed like it. And from Steve’s and my perspective, it was the same conversation every day…”Yeah, uh huh.” Over and over again. That’s what we heard. We got to teasing our mothers about the conversation because on both ends of the phone, we just heard “Yeah, uh huh.” The moms denied it and it became a thing. Until one Christmas, Mom and Dad got me a General Electric portable reel to reel tape recorder. So I recorded Mom talking to Aunt Dory. And I secretly loaned the recorder to Cousin Steve for him to sneak a recording of Aunt Dory talking to Mom. And sure enough, on both sides of the conversations were the familiar “Yeah uh huh.” We played the recording at one of our family get togethers at Easter. Everybody got a good laugh because both were just saying it over and over again. Now Jesus said in Matthew 5:37 to, “let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’” Mom and Aunt Dory practiced this faithfully every time they were on the phone together. Yeah, uh huh. What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?” (Matthew 24:3 NLT). Jesus replied, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many” (verses 4–5 NLT). The Antichrist will be a false Messiah, and some will believe that he is the Messiah. He will be history’s vilest embodiment of sin and rebellion. But he’s not going to be what some may expect. He’ll be suave, intelligent, charming, engaging, magnetic, and charismatic. He even will solve the Middle East peace puzzle. But then he will show who he really is. So why even give a passing thought to someone as evil as the Antichrist? Because the Bible contains more than 100 passages detailing his career, nationality, character, kingdom, and final doom. So we need to understand what his agenda is and what he will attempt to do. But remember, as dark as this period of time will be, God is sovereign over all history. History is His story.
