Many excellent Bible prophecy teachers believe there will be a convergence of the signs (all of them coming on the scene) at the end of the age. Here are some reasons to believe that is happening now. One, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on June 7, 2021, U.S. Sec. of State Blinken said if Iran continues to violate its nuclear agreement, Iran could have enough enriched uranium for a nuclear weapon in a matter of weeks. If Israel follows through on its threat to prevent this, Israel could be forced to act very soon. (Note: On June 14, 2021, Amir Tsarfati said, “If nothing is done in the next month or so, Iran will be nuclear.”) Two, more on the Battle of Gog and Magog: in recent years, Israel has launched hundreds of strikes against enemy targets in Syria, but on June 9, 2021, Israel launched one of its largest strikes ever. In the early morning hours, Israel struck several major Iranian targets (some sources say at least 6) almost simultaneously all over Syria. The attacks were followed by several hours of secondary explosions, indicating that out-of-control fires continued to destroy stored missiles, rockets, powder, etc. The attacks will probably get more intense as Iran gets closer to developing nuclear weapons. Three, concerning Israel: on June 13, 2021, the government of Prime Min. Netanyahu ended, and the government of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid began. The Bennett-Lapid government contains 8 political parties (some leftist, some non-religious, a minority of conservatives, and a group of Arabs with ties to the terrorist group called the Muslim Brotherhood). Israel needs the prayers and support of Christians as much as ever. Four, concerning world government: many highly respected Bible prophecy teachers have long taught that U.S. power and influence must decline, and EU power and influence must increase. Pres. Biden is traveling overseas for separate meetings with the G-7, NATO, the EU, and Russia. Concerning Biden’s meeting with EU officials, it was reported that many EU officials believe it is time for the EU to start influencing U.S. policy instead of the U.S. influencing EU policy. According to one report, EU leaders plan to be less submissive to the U.S. and more likely to carve out a bigger role for the EU on the world stage. Five, also concerning the decline of America: on June 10, 2021, Rev. Michael Bresciani, editor of American Prophet, expressed his opinion about several issues that are well worth repeating.
Bresciani believes these things are coming from depraved minds, and they signify that America is sinking into depravity. Six, Rev. Bresciani mentioned the world’s tallest moving statue called “The Giant.” “The Giant” is a 10-story tall digital art gallery with millions of pixels in the shape of a human, its head and arms move, it speaks and sings, changes its appearance every hour to look like different famous people, and it will be displayed in 21 cities in 2021. Concerning this statue: Bresciani quotes what the Bible says about the statue of Antichrist. “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed” (Rev 13:15). Bresciani is not saying “The Giant” is the statue of the Antichrist, but he is saying that the creation of a statue that looks like the Antichrist and speaks is no longer in doubt. This writer believes that God is showing the world pictures or shadows of things in the Book of Revelation, and the coming fulfillment of those prophecies is not in doubt. Seven, in case anyone doubts that world leaders are in the process of establishing a world government, here is this writer’s understanding of some of what G-7 members agreed to in writing on June 13, 2021.
The Holy Spirit is the only One that can restrain the coming world government and world religion, but people need to know what is coming and truly accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour before the globalists bring in their world government and world religion. He served in that position from 1996 to 1999, and then from 2009 to 2021. During those years, he accumulated enemies every step of the way — enemies from Washington to Tehran to Tel Aviv. But despite the widespread, organized opposition, he stayed in power longer than any other Prime Minister in Israel’s history. When I interviewed Mr. Netanyahu in November of 2005, I asked what he would do if elected Prime Minister again. His answer reflected his tough, pragmatic, and well-reasoned approach to governing. “I'd stop the policy of unilateral withdrawals in the face of terror,” he said. He went on to give specific instances where Israel won on the battlefield, then gave away those gains at the negotiating table. This gave Palestinians the impression that terrorism works. I asked about the danger of Iran gaining nuclear weapons. You can see in his answer why he made the prevention of a nuclear Iran a cornerstone of his foreign policy. He said, “They openly declare their intention to destroy Israel…. They have an equal animosity to you [Americans] because, remember again, we're ‘the little Satan.’ You're ‘the big Satan.’… They hate us because of you, because we represent this hated western civilization that they so abhor.” He said to imagine the Iranian regime “with its furnaces of fanaticism” acquiring nuclear weapons. It would “be a tremendous shield for terror, and they might also use the weapon itself…. Once a country has nuclear weapons, all the calculations for dealing with it, or acting against it, are different. So, I would say that the imperative for the United States and for the free world is to make sure that the Ayatollah regime does not develop and possess atomic weapons.” The western world did not heed his warnings, but his Arab neighbors did. Shared concern over Iranian aggression helped bring about the Abraham Accords. Even so, getting these Muslim nations to work together in peace with their former enemy was not easy. Mr. Netanyahu showed diplomatic genius in shepherding the Accords along. And, as much as people hate giving President Trump credit for anything, no one can deny his administration’s key role in the Accords. We do not yet know the policies or tenor of Israel’s new leadership. The new government coalition is remarkably broad, but because of that, it is extremely fragile. It brings together elements from across Israel’s political spectrum. Their unity seems to be based on a mutual disdain for Benjamin Netanyahu. To thrive, they will need more than that. Naftali Bennett, Israel’s new Prime Minister, remains something of a mystery. He describes himself as “more right wing” than Netanyahu. That may be true. We will see. Before becoming a political rival, he worked for Mr. Netanyahu in several positions, including Chief of Staff. Israel’s rebirth was a miracle, and so is the nation’s continued existence. It has continued because God miraculously intervened again and again. Benjamin Netanyahu was one of those miracles. His leadership came at a crucial time. But miracles are God’s work. They do not depend on any one person. Despite changes in leadership, God will continue to do what He said He would do regarding the State of Israel in the end times. He gave us His word. Meanwhile, your other opponent with more chips sits quietly behind his cards while his paid spies behind your chair signal him the contents of your hand. A national poll this spring showed a sharp divide between Democrats and Republicans over whether Russia or China is America's greatest international adversary. Democrats, perhaps still seething from Russia's clumsy efforts to sway the 2016 election to Donald Trump, see Vladimir Putin as a Bond movie villain and master manipulator. Republicans focused on commerce, cyber-security, and Asian ascension, look at emerging China as their greatest threat. The party split for choosing China as America's biggest enemy was deep – 54% of Republicans chose China compared with just 14% of Democrats surveyed. Those who instead chose Russia as America's biggest worry split as well, with 40% of Democrats pointing to Putin and the Kremlin while only 8% of Republicans did so. This is surprising, given the central importance of China to the COVID-19 pandemic, the most important news story in the United States in the past 18 months. The actions of the Beijing government since the earliest days of concern about the disease have shown in stark relief how a closed, authoritarian society tries to deny and shift blame for its misdeeds. How it seeks to co-opt international health agencies. How it tries to bribe foreigners to do its bidding. How it has infected more than just American bodies, but American society and its institutions at many levels. This poll was conducted shortly before evidence of the lab-leak theory began to enter the mainstream and be taken seriously, even by those in the press who previously claimed to have "debunked" it. Almost no one in American politics, on the Left or Right, has been hailing the Chinese communist government for its efforts to stem the fourth deadly pathogen to come from its shores and devastate the rest of the world. The Chinese government concealed all information about how the virus originated, encouraging speculation they did so intentionally. According to Gordon Chang, they may even be preparing to do so again, only worse. Clearly, though, there are those who have lived through all of this, submitted to all of the measures necessary to defend themselves from this deadly virus, seen the deaths of friends, family members and acquaintances, and still do not think China is the world's most critical problem. By comparison, Russia's crimes against the West, real and imagined, amount to a relative nuisance. Russian propagandists use their bot networks to seed conspiracy theories on social media. Russian government hackers, or government-allied hackers, penetrate with ransomware the computer systems of corporations that provide essential services such as gas and food. The Russian government militarily threatens its neighbors, former Soviet republics. Russia provides arms to America's enemies in Iran and elsewhere. These are all bad things, certainly, but not to the scale of incompetently (or worse) exporting a disease that has killed millions of people around the world, devastated the economies of the West, and changed almost overnight the fabric of how our societies function and will be able to interact in the foreseeable future. To be clear, the poll's results do not suggest there is a failure by Democrats to see China as a threat, nor that they perceive President Xi Jinping (65% unfavorable) much more favorably than the 71% unfavorable rating of the swaggering, KGB-trained Putin. Among both parties, both Putin and Xi trailed only North Korea's tubby tyrant, Kim Jong Un (80% unfavorable) in the poll's findings. Foreign policy, however, is made towards nations, not individual leaders. In geo-political terms it asks: What is another country's ability to help you, or harm you? Much goes into this discipline, including evaluation of trade relationships, military ambition and posture, the other country's domestic situation, its relationships with our allies, and its standing in the world as a partner for international cooperation. In nearly all these areas, the menace of China looms far larger to 21st Century America than its chief 20th Century antagonist, Russia. In the 1980s, no one would have suggested that Idi Amin, Fidel Castro, or Muamar Qaddafi was America's greatest enemy. They were obnoxious sideshows, annoying tinpot dictators with a flair for the microphone, but not existential threats on the order of the Soviet Union. What this poll suggests is that threat assessment has somehow become a partisan issue, based on political grudges and perceptions that have little to do with a particular nation's real capacity to damage American interests. The divide among Republicans and Democrats between China and Russia as our largest threat fails to account for a modern analysis of China's power, influence, aggressiveness in action, and willingness to corrupt American political and cultural leaders. It should not be a partisan issue, no matter how obnoxious one nation's current leader may be. This all presents a challenge for the Biden administration, whose early moves do not suggest it views Russia as a larger threat than Beijing. Instead, administration officials have a communications problem with their political supporters about where they should direct their attention. And here is where the personalities of the two rivals' leaders makes that harder but no less important. Putin loves to tweak America; Xi prefers quieter, more damaging forms of aggression. The investigative work that the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) has been doing for many years follows the money that influences and corrupts American politicians, Republicans as well as Democrats. It is vital for American voters to understand that bribery is a key part of doing business for both China and Russia. Voters should carefully examine the foreign entanglements of the leaders they choose and look at their commercial ties and those of their family members and close associates to Chinese, Russian and other foreign actors. GAI works to present that information to them. Mostly the focus has been on the downstream effects of these connections, how they influence policies and compromise ethics here. But the threads of this corruption wind into rope that is being pulled from one country in particular -- China. China's influence on American life is vast and increasingly obvious. From its ability to muzzle NBA coaches or action-movie actors -- even to control entire industries, such as the media, universities, Hollywood, and Big Tech -- into silence about issues ranging from Hong Kong and Taiwan to Chinese government funding for "Confucius Institutes" on American university campuses, the Chinese have no equivalent. No matter how much he might like to, Vladimir Putin cannot threaten the balance sheets of huge American companies such as Apple and Microsoft; China could do it tomorrow. In this article, I am going to be discussing a couple of potential scenarios that would have been unimaginable to the vast majority of Americans just a few short years ago. Unfortunately, our world is now changing at a pace that is absolutely breathtaking, and many things that were once “unimaginable” could soon become reality. Let’s start by talking about the record-setting heat wave which is making the epic megadrought in the western half of the country even worse. Many western farmers planted crops this year hoping that weather conditions would eventually turn in their favor, but that has definitely not happened. In fact, at this point 88 percent of the West is experiencing at least some level of drought. 2021 has been the worst year of this multi-year megadrought so far, and last week was the worst week for this drought up to this point in 2021. Old temperature records were shattered all over the West, and some areas were already seeing triple digits by 8 o’clock in the morning… The West is in the midst of a record-breaking heat wave this week, as all-time records were shattered and daily records broken in over a dozen states. Even by desert standards, the heat wave in the Southwest is atypical. On Thursday, the National Weather Service in Tucson tweeted that the city recorded a temperature of 100 degrees at 8:14 a.m., the second earliest time in the day recorded since 1948. That is crazy. Can you imagine hitting triple digits before you have even finished your morning coffee? Summer had not even officially begun yet last week, and yet new all-time record highs were being established all over the place… Record-breaking temperatures spread from California to Montana this week. On thursday, the all-time high temperature was tied in Palm Springs, California at 123 degrees, breaking the previous June record of 122 degrees. Salt Lake City tied its all-time record high of 107 degrees. The old record was notably set in July — when temperatures are usually at their highest for the year in that region. This comes after daily record highs were broken Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in Salt Lake, each with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees. We have never seen anything quite like this in the state of Utah. More than half of the state is in the highest level of drought, and thanks to dramatic water restrictions farmers are being forced to choose which of their crops will die… With drastic limits placed on what little water he has, Tom Favero said he and many farmers along this west side of Weber County were forced to watch some crops die. “We’ve all made serious choices of what fields we can water and what we can’t,” Favero said. Another Utah farmer that lost a lot of corn and an entire field of barley said that it really “hurts” to see his hard work go to waste… Farmer Dean Martini pointed at one of his fields. “That corn there, where I can’t water, I don’t have the water. It makes me sick to see it go to heck like that.” With limits on amount and time, he said there wasn’t enough water flowing to make it across his fields. While some of the corn dried up, he had to let a whole field of barley go too. “It hurts buddy. That hurts,” Martini said. Of course this is just the beginning. If this summer is as hot and as dry as they are projecting, we could see catastrophic crop failures all across the West. And that is really bad news, because the state of California alone produces more than a third of our vegetables and about two-thirds of our fruits and nuts. A few years ago, hardly anyone would have imagined that we would be facing a crisis of this magnitude in 2021, but here we are. Paleoclimatologist Kathleen Johnson is quite “worried” about what will happen this summer, and she is warning that this drought is shaping up to be the worst the region has experienced “in at least 1,200 years”… I’m worried about this summer – this doesn’t bode well, in terms of what we can expect with wildfire and the worsening drought. This current drought is potentially on track to become the worst that we’ve seen in at least 1,200 years. Now I would like to shift gears. A few years ago, hardly anyone would have imagined that we would be facing a very serious computer chip shortage in 2021. In particular, the most sophisticated chips are really in short supply, and what most people don’t realize is that “almost all” of them are made by a single company based in Taiwan… Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. chips are everywhere, though most consumers don’t know it. The company makes almost all of the world’s most sophisticated chips, and many of the simpler ones, too. They’re in billions of products with built-in electronics, including iPhones, personal computers and cars—all without any obvious sign they came from TSMC, which does the manufacturing for better-known companies that design them, like Apple Inc. and Qualcomm Inc. Because manufacturing those chips is so exceedingly complicated, other companies can’t just plop down new factories and start pumping out their own chips. Business leaders in the U.S. are now planning new factories, but it could take quite a few years before they are up and running. So even under ideal conditions, the chip shortage will not be resolved for some time. But what happens if China invades Taiwan within the next several years? This is something that U.S. officials were warning about earlier this month… Concerns are growing in Washington over the possibility that China could try to invade Taiwan in the next few years. Top U.S. military officers have warned in recent months that Beijing might try to make the explosive move this decade, and recent saber rattling, including a Chinese military amphibious landing exercise near the island, is further raising the alarm. Can you imagine the chaos that it would cause for the global economy if the primary supply of advanced chips was suddenly cut off? According to the Wall Street Journal, TSMC currently makes “around 92% of the world’s most sophisticated chips”… Its technology is so advanced, Capital Economics said, that it now makes around 92% of the world’s most sophisticated chips, which have transistors that are less than one-thousandth the width of a human hair. Samsung Electronics Co. makes the rest. Most of the roughly 1.4 billion smartphone processors world-wide are made by TSMC. Without TSMC, the global economy as it is structured today would not be able to function. So the fact that China is being more aggressive than ever with Taiwan should deeply alarm all of us. For example, check out what happened just last week… China has flown 28 warplanes into Taiwan-controlled airspace, the biggest sortie of its kind since the Taiwanese government began publishing information about the frequent incursions last year. The flights are widely seen as part of an effort by Beijing to dial up pressure on Taiwan, a self-governed democracy of about 24 million people off the Chinese coast that the Chinese government considers a part of China. We should have never allowed ourselves to become so dependent on foreign chips, but we did. And now experts are telling us that the chip shortage will last into next year under the best of conditions… Dimitris Dotis, the Audi brand specialist at Audi Tysons Corner dealership in Virginia, summed up the situation to customers. “Almost all microchips that go into all new vehicles including Audi come from TSMC in Taiwan,” he wrote. “They expect bottlenecks in the supply chain to last through 2022.” Of course if China does decide to invade Taiwan, the U.S. military will respond, and that would mean no advanced chips for us for the foreseeable future. In this article, I have shared just two potential scenarios which could soon plunge us into unthinkable nightmares. Needless to say, there are many, many more crisis points that bear watching right now as well. We have reached such a critical moment in our history, and I expect global events to accelerate even more as we head into the second half of 2021. Daily Jot: Now it’s August – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com On June 1, New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman said that President Trump “has been telling a number of people he’s in contact with that he expects he will get reinstated by August.” In reality, Haberman did not identify or qualify her “sources.” The previous deadline for Trump to be reinstated was June. Now it’s August. In a June 16 interview with Fox News commentator Sean Hannity, Trump said, “Shockingly, we were supposed to win easily at 64 million votes and we got 75 million votes and we didn’t win but let’s see what happens on that.” Now The Hill reports: “Thirty percent of Republican voters say they believe former President Trump will “likely” be reinstated to office this year, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.” The Hill on June 18 reported: “While a segment of the GOP has indicated support for the idea, the vast majority of voters across the political spectrum agree it’s unlikely that Trump will return to office this year. Seventy percent of Republican respondents in the Hill-HarrisX poll said such a scenario is unlikely, along with 74 percent of independents and 87 percent of Democrats. Meanwhile, 26 percent of independent voters said it’s likely Trump will be reinstated while 13 percent of Democrats said the same.” In other words, just short of a third of Republicans and Independents believe Trump will be reinstated, and a little over 10% of Democrats feel the same way. Conspiracy theorists are now pointing to August for reinstatement of the President. The previous deadline has passed. The election recount investigations occurring in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona and other states have not so far resulted in even the potential overturn of certifications of the electoral college in those states. The US Constitution provides for a process of determining a president IF the states do not certify the vote and cannot come to a conclusion as to a victor. In the 2020 election, irrespective of fraud, voting machine irregularities, dead people voting or otherwise, each state certified the results of their respective state’s election. There is no provision to overturn an election beyond that certification. The states certifying the election results made the election legal, irrespective of how it illegally it may have been attained. There are people making money and a name for themselves on selling the false hope that somehow President Trump will be reinstated. Short of an outright miracle, Trump will not be reinstated as predicted. This is a moving target designed to paralyze people from taking action to correct the problems before them. Christ said in Matthew 24:4, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” There are warnings throughout scripture about vain words leading to deception and the snares that await. In April, it was June. In June, it is August. Time goes by and people think that someone is somehow going to change things. Trust in the Lord, not in man. Don’t allow man selling hope to prevent you from doing what the Lord has called you to do. Maybe you walked up to them and said, “Are you okay? Can I help?” That’s how Jesus approached two of His followers on the road to Emmaus. He said, “What are you discussing so intently as you walk along?” (Luke 24:17 NLT). Cleopas replied, “You must be the only person in Jerusalem who hasn’t heard about all the things that have happened there the last few days” (verse 18 NLT). In other words, “Buddy, what planet are you from? Everyone knows about what happened in Jerusalem.” Cleopas went on to say, “We had hoped he was the Messiah who had come to rescue Israel. This all happened three days ago” (verse 21 NLT). Basically, they were saying, “He meant well. His heart was in the right place, but clearly, it was a massive failure. Something went horribly wrong.” Yet earlier, Jesus said of himself, “The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of his enemies. He will be killed, but on the third day he will be raised from the dead” (Matthew 17:22–23 NLT). Could He have been any more clear? But they all missed it, even though He talked about it constantly. It’s easy for us to be critical of these disciples, but I think we probably would have done the same. After all, we do the same thing today. We don’t pay attention to what the Bible says and let our emotions get the better of us. Instead of praying, we panic. Instead of trusting, we run away. We lose sight of what the Word of God says, and we lose sight of Jesus. Jesus stirred their hearts and restored their hope by taking them to the Scriptures.
