“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken”. (Luke 21:25-26)
 
Has the environment become hostile to the world's population that we don't know what to expect next?
 
I know that the news channels are all talking about all the hurricanes that have increased with each passing season.
 
I am saddened by the destruction that was leveled on the Texas gulf coast several times with 50+ inches of rain that flooded most everything in Houston and the surrounding areas. I noted that the hurricane with its winds and rain just stalled and unleashed massive amounts of precipitation that is beyond my mind to comprehend that much rain.
 
I'm sure most of us look at the weather and remember the ominous sign of the sun's total eclipse made a path across the USA from Northwest to the Southeast and passed over the areas that these hurricanes have come from. Next we speak of fires out of control.
 
THE WORLD IS ON FIRE
 
I was reading how the southwest and all along the western part of the USA burned millions of acres and spreading into Montana and up into our neighbor up north, Canada unrelenting damage and destruction. The Forest Service is reporting that this is shaping up to be a worse than average fire year based on acres of federal, private and state land burned. So far, 5.6 million acres of land has burned this year, or 1.8 million acres more than the ten year average of 3.8 million acres burned by this time. Some states like Nevada are saying that 2017 was the worst fire season in 15 years, while Montana has already used up much of its firefighting budget, even as much of the state remains in drought conditions according to the US Drought Monitor. The state may have to tap into reserve and federal funding. There has been so much fire, minimal rainfall that the southwest area has become a virtual dust-bowl where not much will be able to grow crops, as the top soil being blown away and loss of rain could lead to a food shortage in this country.
 
Speaking of our neighbor to the north, fires are also causing the complete scorching of Canada’s British Columbia. This is the province’s second worst fire season on record and NASA satellites have identified the conflagration from space. It’s unsurprising that the smoke is billowing over the border into nearby Seattle in Washington state which for much of last week was also under a heat advisory. On Thursday, the city hit a record breaking 94 degrees at the Seattle Tacoma airport. The regular high for the region at this time of year is 77 degrees. Between the heat and the fact that the region has been, according to US Drought Monitor is unnaturally dry that wildfires are knocking on their door is unsurprising.
 
Across the big pond of the Atlantic , if you load up the European Commission’s fire map, it looks like the end of the world, especially in Italy and Romania. So far, an area just slightly smaller than the state of Rhode Island has burned. The total is already roughly three times the normal amount of summer wildfires. In June of that year, 60 people died over the course of one weekend in Portugal due to wildfires. Thirty people were killed when the fires reached roads on evacuation routes. And as the map makes clear, those fires don’t seem to be abating, in part because of the hotter, drier temperatures ...this has also spread to Russia and Siberia which an image NASA has managed to capture on satellite footage, along with large swathes of Brazil. Back in June, of the last couple years South Africa was ablaze, and in New Zealand in February (during their summer) the city of Christchurch called a state of emergency after a wildfire sent thousands running from their homes and destroyed their homes, and killed a pilot. In Chile, for whom like New Zealand January is summer, battled a similar unusual number of wildfires due to a combination of drought and high temperatures. The world wants to blame this phenomenon on Climate Change and will take any change in climate to further the mantra of a global New World Order.
 
EARTHQUAKES COVER THE GLOBE
 
This USGS reading is preliminary, but Mexico’s National Seismological Service released similar numbers for the earthquake’s strength that goes up and down the Pacific coast line.
 
A USGS official told the Associated Press that this earthquake was not an aftershock of the disaster that struck near Chiapas , due to the large distance between the two events. These earthquakes have spread all over the planet, along the ring of fire in the Pacific and has caused great Tsunami's, the like of the one that killed a quarter of a million people into Japan and Southeast Asia
 
According to a number of Christian writers and teachers (including this writer) on Bible prophecy, Jesus predicted in the Olivet Discourse that a pronounced increase in the frequency and intensity of earthquakes would occur just prior to His return to the earth. Many of the same writers and teachers claim that the decade of the 1990s and accelerating into the 21st Century, that we have experienced a pronounced increase in both the frequency and intensity of earthquakes as compared to the earlier decades of the twentieth century. This coincidence of Jesus' prophetic statement and recent seismic events is viewed by these writers and teachers as clear demonstration of the nearness of the return of Christ.
 
Earthquakes continue to increase in frequency and intensity, just as the Bible predicts for the last days before the return of Christ. History shows that the number of killer quakes remained fairly constant until the 1950s - averaging between two to four per decade. In the 1950s, there were nine. In the 1960s, there were 13. In the 1970s, there were 51. In the 1980s, there were 86. From 1990 through 1996, there has been more than 150 and in the last 10 years, we have witnessed an annual number of “great” earthquakes nearly tripling over the last decade, providing a reminder to Americans that unruptured faults like those in the northwest United States might be due for a Big One.
 
Between 2004 and 2014, 18 earthquakes with magnitudes of 8.0 or more rattled subduction zones around the globe. That's an increase of 265 percent over the average rate of the previous century, which saw 71 great quakes, according to a report to the annual meeting of the Geological Society of America this week in Vancouver, British Columbia. And each year continues the destruction all over the planet.
 
Jesus spoke of this time, that He called the beginning of sorrows:
 
“6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.” (Matthew 24:6-8)
 
and Paul confirmed the time we live in Romans chp. 8:
 
“19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”(Romans 8:19-23)
 
Now let us cover the signs in the heavens, that men can't explain.
 
PLANET NIBIRU OR PLANET X
 
Not sure what to make of the reports about a planet entering our solar system called Planet X. How are we to interpret this?...So I went and did some digging into if this report of a rogue planet heading our way. Is it fact or fiction?
 
It has been reported that NASA had issued a terrifying advisory about the trajectory of a a “rogue planet” known as “Nibiru” or “Planet X”, saying it would "intersect Earth’s orbit, with potentially disastrous consequences".
 
The report said: "NASA has known about the mystery planet for years, but declined to warn us … until now.
 
"Finally, after the announcement of “Planet Nine” in January, conspiracy theorists have proved to the skeptics that they have been right this entire time, and NASA finally has to admit its wrongs.
 
"The planet, according to Caltech researchers, has a mass about ten times that of Earth and takes about 15,000 years to make a full orbit around the sun – And it’s heading towards Earth."
 
The online detective called Snopes has debunked this report, but Snopes has also been debunked as being run by a married couple in their home. The urban legend-busting Snopes.com and its proprietors, Barbara and David Mikkelson, who started the site in 1995 and still run it. They’re accused of hiding their identities, doing shoddy research, producing articles with a liberal bent and bash anything that speaks of conservative principles. . So personally, I discount their opinions as being less than objective, but back to the question at hand.
 
The report on this Planet X, is extremely convincing and even claims to quote NASA spokesperson Heather Cartwright as saying: "Although our scientists at NASA have emphasized for years that Nibiru doesn’t exist, we are ready to reveal the fact that it does exist.
 
“The truth is we have been tracking the object for at least a decade and it is definitely headed towards planet Earth.
 
"However, we are expecting a close flyby – not the doomsday collision that Caltech researchers are predicting. There is no need to cause mass panic.”
 
The report went on to say Caltech scientists were at odds with NASA over the threat.
 
We are not sure what to make of these reports, but we know that this planet will NOT be destroyed, as Jesus will come and rule from Jerusalem and return this planet to its Garden of Eden environment during His 1000 year reign. But I do recall what John wrote in Revelation.
 
8 “And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” (Revelation 8:8-11)
 
All these environmental disasters are the run-up to the coming Tribulation, where the seals of the wrath of God are opened in sequence. The earth is groaning and waits for its own redemption, as Paul mentioned in Romans 8. Mankind has abused the earth to such an extent, it would not be beyond imaginations to say that nature is rebelling and attempting to vomit out the pollution along with the polluters that are destroying the environment. But speaking of a mountain that falls into the sea, a asteroid burning with sulfur and iron would make much of the world uninhabitable. All this takes place in the coming Tribulation, so if there is a link between this Planet X/Nibiru, then it could be used by God to bring further judgement on this earth. God is control of every celestrial body, star or planet in the universe, so He will bring judgment according to His Word.
 
WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?
 
If we take the signs in the heavens, the stars, the sun, and the moon, we have had an abundance of what I feel, God is trying to get our attention. Let us recount what has happened in the last 30 years:
 
-increase in earthquakes that grows in number each year to disastrous results.
-increase in volcanic activity that has awakened mountains after years of sleep.
-increase in whole species of animals dying mysteriously-
-blood moons that appeared on God's Feast Days two years in a row
-total eclipses that spell judgement coming on the Gentiles by interpretation.
-increase in weather patterns of hurricanes and Tsunamis from earthquakes
-increase of drought conditions all over the world, and here in the USA, the southwest in the throws of climate convulsions.
-pestilence around the globe with reports of ravagin locust consuming everything in their path leading to famine and local starvation.
-push for a New World Order on the false concept of Climate Change-
-Sustainable Development and Agenda 2030 being pushed by the U.N. To monitor every man and woman on the planet.
-lawlessness in our streets, worldwide. Terrorism that grows unabated
-Muslim invasion of Europe and immigration grown out of hand in the USA.
-the world in near economic collapse, and debt beyond an ability to pay back.
-crisis at our southern border of a illegal immigration surge that is the result of this present “so-called administration” that has promoted this crisis and the population knows it.
-abortion on demand and the demise of 70 million babies in the USA alone…with many more worldwide.
-Homosexuality on the order of Sodom and Gomorrah, same sex marriage ruled Constitutional and the abomination written in Romans 1 taking grip of our planet.
-scientist experimenting with fetal parts to cross animals with humans. Brings to mind what was happening in Noah's time, and God destroyed all who were going against God's creation.
 
WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?
 
I am no prophet, but even a observant person who believes in the True God of Heaven, knows that this world cannot continue in this direction for an undetermined amount of time. God is longsuffering and not willing that any should perish.
 
9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (2nd Peter 3:9-10)
 
Even our God who is longsuffering, has patience that runs out. He gave the Canaanites 400 years to come to repentance and turn from their wicked ways, then He commanded that they be destroyed, every man, woman and child. Israel was given this command. The world has been moving to higher levels of evil that wax and waned in times past, but the 20th Century after WW2 into our “modern” era has seen an exponential increase in lawlessness, Godlessness, and wickedness that God will judge but will give man one last chance during the coming 7 years of Jacob's trouble.
 
We have discussed that Satan will be given a free reign over this earth to do whatever evil he wishes to impose on mankind. It will be the final judgment of Satan that God will bring judgment on the fallen ark angel called Lucifer before he fell and became the “adversary” called Satan. When will this happen?
 
The only Power that has held Satan in check, is God's Holy Spirit, which resides in every truly born again believer who has received a deposit of God's promise of future glorification.
 
 “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,” (2nd Thessalonians 2:1-9)
 
Many have tried to hypothesize who the “He” is in the verses above. It's a personal pronoun and denotes a Person, not an angel or any other created being, but God's Spirit who is the only Power that is doing the withholding.
 
WILL JESUS COME SOON?
 
The question everyone on the internet is asking, “will Jesus come soon?”...many have proposed that the sign of Revelation 12 and the total eclipse of August the 21 of 2017 was a super sign of the coming of our Lord...Not so fast. Jesus said that no one would know.
 
33 "So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” (Matthew 24:33-39)
 
We have discussed that Jesus was referring to a coming “Feast of Trumpets” by the idiom of speech that each Jewish man would have recognized, BUT...we don't know which year that will be. But we know that the signs are all around us, and the signs on earth and in the heavens are screaming His soon return. You feel it, I feel it, and the secular world knows that something has got to give and sense something big is about to happen. Noting that we have ended the 70 years generation of those who were alive when Israel was made a nation, we are on the cusp of the end of that generation Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24.. But I will not predict, nor should anyone that Jesus is coming on any given date. We can pray, we can hope, and we can watch as I will be watching and listening on any given day for a trumpet sound, but if it doesn't come, I won't become depressed, as God has His plan and it is right on time. I just have to stay faithful and keep working for Him, until He actually sends Jesus to claim what He bought with His own blood 2000 years ago on a Roman cross. He has ascended to the Father in Heaven and sits at His right hand, and waiting for the signal to “go get my children”...
 
WILL YOU BE READY?
 
No matter when that trumpet sound breaks the atmosphere and Jesus calls with a sound of a trumpet “come up hither”, will you be ready? Will you be found with faith in God and His plan for mankind. Being clothed with the rightousness of His Son?
 
Make no mistake about it, friend, Jesus is coming...and He will come when the world least expects Him. That is why I'm a little skeptical that it will be on any proclaimed date by any “false prophet”, because the hype is saying Jesus is coming....but what did Paul write ?
 
1 "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness” (1st Thessalonians 5:1-5)
 
Jesus could come very soon (maybe even this fall), but to the world, He will come as a thief...to those of us who are looking at the signs and know that His return is imminent, we will be watching, waiting, and in prayer. But the point is, no one knows, no one alive that is. But my warning to all who read this message, “Be Ready”. You ask, “how do I get ready”...easy. Two sets of verses that even a small child can grasp.
 
16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18)
 
Belief in the only Begotten Son of God in your heart, in your mind, in your life, and then express that belief with your mouth to others of your belief.
 
8 “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” (Romans 10:8-11)
 
The world is in convulsions and rocking to and fro like a drunken sailor, but it will only get worse, a LOT WORSE. The environment is turning deadly. The heavens and the earth is being shaken, but not to the extent that God will shake this Creation when He comes to bring judgment on this fallen earth. You don't want to be here. I won't be, WILL YOU?
 
14 “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1st Thessalonians 4:14-18)

Researchers are injecting human stem cells into monkey embryos and even scientists are disturbed by the ethical implications. For the Biblically minded, the implications are clear.
 
MIXING MONKEY AND HUMAN CELLS
 
Researchers in California published their results in The Cell on Thursday describing how they successfully "created" embryos that were a mixture of monkey and human cells. The abstract, titled "Chimeric contribution of human extended pluripotent stem cells to monkey embryos ex vivo", explains that the study was focused on creating cells that could be used to produce organs for people who need transplants.
 
Chimerism is a condition whereby an organism or person has not one but two complete genomes or sets of DNA in their body. The condition is named for the chimera, a fire-breathing creature in Greek mythology usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat protruding from its back, and a tail that might end with a snake's head.
 
The researchers injected 25 cells known as induced pluripotent stem cells from humans -- commonly called iPS cells -- into each of 132 macaque monkey blastocytes, an early structure in embryonic development in mammals, and reared the resulting chimeras in culture dishes for up to 20 days. After 13 days, the human cells were still present in about one-third of the chimeras.
 
In recent years, researchers have been injecting human stem cells into sheep and pig embryos in an effort to grow human organs in animals for the purposes of transplantation. Macaque monkeys are more closely genetically related to humans than are sheep and pigs. The researchers believe they will be able to re-engineer the pathways observed in the monkey-human embryos and apply that knowledge to embryos in sheep and pigs.
 
The moral implications were evident even to the researchers.
 
"My first question is: Why?" Kirstin Matthews, a fellow for science and technology at Rice University's Baker Institute, told NPR. "I think the public is going to be concerned, and I am as well, that we're just kind of pushing forward with science without having a proper conversation about what we should or should not do."
 
"I don't see this type of research being ethically problematic," said Insoo Hyun, a bioethicist at Case Western Reserve University and Harvard University. "It's aimed at lofty humanitarian goals."
 
"Our goal is not to generate any new organism, any monster," Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte, a professor in the Gene Expression Laboratory of the Salk Institute for Biological Sciences in La Jolla, Calif. and a co-author of the Cell study, told NPR. "And we are not doing anything like that. We are trying to understand how cells from different organisms communicate with one another."
 
The biggest concern is that someone could attempt to bring one of these chimeric embryos to term, inadvertently creating animals that have partly human brains, endowing them with some semblance of human consciousness or human thinking abilities.
 
Such a "chimeric" half-human creature is actually being considered by scientists in order to study neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.
 
"Should it be regulated as human because it has a significant proportion of human cells in it? Or should it be regulated just as an animal? Or something else?" Matthews said. "At what point are you taking something and using it for organs when it actually is starting to think and have logic?"
 
FORBIDDEN BY TORAH LAW
 
In Torah law, such a creature raises Halachic (Torah law) issues. Human abortion is, of course, forbidden by the Torah though animal abortion is not. The new species created in this research was genetically similar to humans and ending the development of the fetuses may be forbidden.
 
Rabbi Moshe Avraham Halperin of the Machon Mada'i Technology Al Pi Halacha (the Institute for Science and Technology According to Jewish Law) stated in response to the report that there are clear Torah guidelines for this new technology. Rabbi Halperin referred to the Biblical law concerning mixing of species.
 
Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee. Leviticus 19:19
 
"It is forbidden to create a creature that is a mixture of species, but as long as they are not producing a new creature that has a different form, it is permitted," Rabbi Halperin told Israel365 News.
 
However, he noted, "Improving species, even the human race, is not forbidden by Jewish law. Changing the color of the skin or hair is permitted, even more so when it concerns removing genetic maladies. But the process certainly needs oversight."
 
"PLANET OF THE APES"
 
Another ethical concern is that the resulting chimera might produce human sperm or eggs. This is also a possibility that researchers would like to investigate as it may be useful for studying human development and infertility.
 
"Nobody really wants monkeys walking around with human eggs and human sperm inside them," said Hank Greely, a Stanford University bioethicist who co-wrote an article in the same issue of the journal that critiques the line of research while noting that this particular study was ethically done. "Because if a monkey with human sperm meets a monkey with human eggs, nobody wants a human embryo inside a monkey's uterus."
 
"I don't think we're on the edge of beyond the Planet of the Apes. I think rogue scientists are few and far between. But they're not zero," Greely said. "So I do think it's an appropriate time for us to start thinking about, 'Should we ever let these go beyond a petri dish?' "
 
NEPHILIM: SEXUAL SIN OF MIXING SPECIES
 
Mixing of species is described in the Bible in a manner disturbingly similar to the experiment mixing human genetic material with developing monkey fetuses. In Genesis, " divine beings" and, later, Nephilim interbred with human women. The result was so abhorrent to God that he severely limited the lifespan of men.
 
The divine beings saw how beautiful the daughters of men were and took wives from among those that pleased them. Hashem said, "My breath shall not abide in man forever, since he too is flesh; let the days allowed him be one hundred and twenty years." It was then, and later too, that the Nephilim appeared on earth--when the divine beings cohabited with the daughters of men, who bore them offspring. They were the heroes of old, the men of renown. Genesis 6:2-4
 
Directly after this, men became evil and God decided to bring a flood to destroy all life. According to Jewish tradition, the animals were killed as they were equally culpable due to being part of man's sexual sins. It may be that in addition to the sin of bestiality being based on the sexual act, the mixing of the genetic material of two species is also forbidden.
 
This connection between sexual sin and the mixing of species, animal and man as well as man and near-divine beings, was noted by Rabbi Yosef Berger, rabbi of the Tomb of King David on Mount Zion. Rabbi Berger explained that the verse forbidding mixing breeds of animals directly preceded a section of the Torah dealing with sexual impropriety.
 
And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free. Leviticus 19:20
 
The rabbi explained the connection between the two distinct commandments.
 
"This is also expressed in the sin of the generation of Noah, which, according to Jewish tradition was the forbidden mixing of animals and man," Rabbi Berger told Israel365 News, quoting Genesis.
 
And Hashem said: 'I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and creeping thing, and fowl of the air; for it repenteth Me that I have made them.' Genesis 6:7
 
"Noah's generation sinned sexually, but it was expressed in the mixing of species," he explained.
 
"This sexual sin would prevent the coming Messianic era as the connection between man and woman is a holy part of the process of bringing geula (redemption). This is the basis of the requirement to be fruitful and multiply: to bring Moshiach (Messiah)."
 
SPREADING VIRUS
 
Another serious concern is that using organs from animals for transplants may lead to viruses spreading from animals to humans. The possibility of trans-species viruses was especially concerning as the California researchers cooperated with Chinese researchers from the Kunming University of Science and Technology in Yunnan.
 
The new study was made possible last year when the Chinese team at Kunming University developed technology that allowed monkey embryos to stay alive and grow outside the body for an extended period of time.
 
These concerns led to such research combining human stem cells to create animal embryos that are partly human. This moratorium was lifted in 2016.
 
Dr. Anna Smajdor, lecturer and researcher in biomedical ethics at the University of East Anglia's Norwich Medical School, said it posed "significant ethical and legal challenges".
 
"The scientists behind this research state that these chimeric embryos offer new opportunities, because 'we are unable to conduct certain types of experiments in humans'," Smajdor said to the BBC. "But whether these embryos are human or not is open to question."
 
Prof. Julian Savulescu, director of the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics and co-director of the Wellcome Centre for Ethics and Humanities, University of Oxford, said the research "opens Pandora's box to human-nonhuman chimeras".
 
"These embryos were destroyed at 20 days of development but it is only a matter of time before human-nonhuman chimeras are successfully developed, perhaps as a source of organs for humans," Savulescu said to the BBC. "That is one of the long-term goals of this research."

I should probably give consideration to changing Nearing Midnight to “This Week in Craziness.” Last week I wrote about a gay rapper selling 666 shoes and giving Satan a lap dance. This week we have a prayer book called “A Rhythm of Prayer: A Collection of Meditations for Renewal.” In the book, a black woman asks God to help her hate white people.
 
One prayer, called “Prayer of a Weary Black Woman,” by Dr. Chanequa Walker-Barnes, a theology professor at Mercer University, starts out:
 
“Dear God, Please help me to hate White people. Or at least to want to hate them… I want to stop caring about their misguided, racist souls, to stop believing that they can be better, that they can stop being racist.”
 
I am just shocked how this dingbat professor doesn’t have a grasp of how she is bastardizing the basic teachings of Jesus Christ. The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey doesn’t contain this level of vile hatred.
 
She goes on:
 
“Lord, if it be your will, harden my heart. Stop me from striving to see the best in people. Stop me from being hopeful that White people can do and be better. Let me imagine them instead as white-hooded robes standing in front of burning crosses. Let me see them as hopelessly unrepentant, reprobate bigots who have blasphemed the Holy Spirit and who need to be handed over to the evil one.”
 
“Grant me a Get Out of Judgment Free Card if I make White people the exception to your commandment to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.”
 
This book is a best seller on Amazon, ranked #305 at the time I’m writing. It is ranked #1 in Christian Meditation. The book is also available at Target— a store that banned a book that gave voice to transgender people who regretted their decisions to transition.
 
There is a growing mindset in the black community that past injustice grants them the right to hate other races. Many think that they’re incapable of being racist because they don’t have the power.
 
The vast majority of recent attacks on Asian people are done by black thugs. The liberal media and law enforcement just ignore the problem. If the Asians had been attacked by Nazi skinheads, they would be universally called out.
 
The press is so fixated on blaming white people for our nation’s problems, they quickly drop any news story where a non-white is the shooter in a mass murder incident. They’ve been milking the Jan 6 invasion of the Capitol Hill Building for the past three months because it was mostly a bunch of white supporters of Donald Trump.
 
The liberal media went into overdrive when there was a “second attack” on Capitol Hill. When it was found out that the driver of the car that killed a police officer was a Louis Farrakhan follower, the press killed the story within a day.
 
The Derek Chauvin trial has become a ticking time bomb. The media has played this up so much as a referendum on racial justice that if he’s acquitted of charges involving George Floyd’s death, there will be a new round of rioting.
 
The craziest part about the fixation with racism is that it is a distraction from the massive black-on-black murder rate. There was a shooting at a Knoxville, Tennessee, high school that left one person dead. Four other members of that same high school have been murdered in the last few months, and there were 10 other murders within a mile of the school. The left’s only suggested answer to the problem is to defund the police.
 
The racial strife I worry the most about is the growing rift between blacks and Jews. Because God said He would bring all Jews back to Israel, I think anti-Semitism will be the driving force. Muslim hatred of Jews in Europe is rapidly working to fulfill this prophecy, and America will likely be next.
 
The left is already talking about Jews in ways that heap them in with whites. When asked about the people who don’t understand why some teachers don’t want to return to in-person teaching, Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers, targeted her response at Jews:
 
“American Jews are now part of the ownership class. Jews were immigrants from somewhere else… Both economic opportunity through the labor movement and an educational opportunity through public education were key for Jews to go from the working class to the ownership class.”
 
“What I hear when I hear that question is that those who are in the ownership class now want to take that ladder of opportunity away from those who do not have it.”
 
The Jews are now the oppressors, which reminds me of how things played out in a certain European country in the 1930s. In this case, persecution of Jews will unfold much faster because the attackers will think they are doing God’s work.
 
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20).

More than 1,200 church leaders across the United Kingdom are urging Prime Minister Boris Johnson to halt all plans to introduce “dangerous” Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine passport schemes because they constitute an “unethical form of coercion.”
 
In an open letter to Johnson, British clergy from across the religious spectrum warned that vaccine passports will bring about a “surveillance state,” as well as an end to “liberal democracy.”
 
The British government claims it is currently reviewing whether or not to use passports or “certificates” to verify Chinese virus injection status, though no formal decisions have been made as of yet. British clergy are hoping to stop any potential implementation plans dead in their tracks.
 
The certificates, if implemented, would allow people to show whether or not they were injected for the Wuhan flu upon request. They would also indicate recent test results, as well as confirm one way or another if a person developed natural immunity from a confirmed infection within the past six months.
 
“We are considering a range of evidence around Covid-status certification and whether it may have a role in opening up higher risk settings safely,” a government official is quoted as saying. “The review is ongoing and no decisions have been taken.”
 
These certificates would presumably be used to allow entry into theaters or sporting events, much like what New York is planning to do.
 
Vaccine passports are a “ghastly trap,” says government leader
 
Creating a dual system such as this where only those with certificates or passports proving vaccination status are allowed entry into certain venues is a form of “medical apartheid” that violates the Nuremberg Code, it turns out.
 
In their open letter, the church leaders warn about the complete dissolution of freedom under a vaccine passport or certificate system. Forcing Brits to get jabbed under duress as a condition of participating in society is simply incongruent with a free and open society.
 
“This scheme has the potential to bring about the end of liberal democracy as we know it and to create a surveillance state in which the government uses technology to control certain aspects of citizens’ lives,” the letter reads.
 
“As such, this constitutes one of the most dangerous policy proposals ever to be made in the history of British politics.”
 
No matter what the government decides to do, the church leaders say they will absolutely not force anyone to show a vaccine passport or certificate in order to enter church buildings or worship centers.
 
All government leaders and Members of Parliament (MPs) were sent copies of the letter, along with the prime minister. Many leftist MPs have already expressed support for a passport or certificate scheme, which the church leaders want to nip in the bud.
 
Earlier in the month, some 70 MPs railed against the plan, arguing that having to show “proof of health” in order to participate in society is both discriminatory and divisive. Labor leader Sir Keir Starmer says he is “very worried” that vaccine passports could lead to discrimination against people who refuse to get jabbed.
 
Tory MP Steve Baker agrees, calling the scheme a “ghastly trap” to unfairly penalize people who choose not to partake in an experimental medicine scam that will forever damage their DNA.
 
“What is really at stake is the all-seeing state having total surveillance over everything you do, not by crafty spying but by you waving your scanner device at every checkpoint,” wrote one Newspunch commenter.
 
“How long before we have to scan to leave the house? Scan when we come home? Scan when we open the fridge or take a dump?”

The book of Ecclesiastes is attributed to King Solomon, who many believe to be the wisest man to ever live. He writes in Chapter 3:1-3, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down and a time to build up.” In watching the response to the jury’s Derek Chauvin guilty verdicts in the George Floyd murder trial, there was a curious theme. People in the streets, Black and White, Hispanic and Asian, were telling reporters that they felt justice was served, it was time to heal, and a time to build up in moving forward. Then the politicians spoke.
 
For the most part, the initial reactions of the local politicians in Minneapolis and Washington, DC, followed similar lines. They said people want to use these verdicts to heal and to build up. Many said that there is much work to be done with race relations, particularly in police-community relations and criminal justice reform and that it should be done within the confines of the law and in the spirit of collaboration and heartfelt communication. But the narrative seem to tear apart when the news media got to the more national politicians, delineating a contrast between, let’s say, the electorate, those elected who are close to the electorate and the elected national politicians, farther away from the electorate.
 
For example, socialist Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said, “This is not resolution. It’s just a moment, but this isn’t resolution, and this doesn’t end until we address the massive systemic institutional racism in the United States that accepts black people–our black brothers and sisters, our brown brothers and sisters, our native brothers and sisters–as less than human. That’s literally what it is, that we’re willing to accept violence against some communities as a necessary cost for safety.” Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA), who just days earlier exhorted protesters to “get more confrontational,” said she was not celebrating, but was relieved. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison said, “This has to end. We need true justice…I would not call today’s verdict justice, however, because justice implies restoration.”
 
Citizens in the streets were stressing peace, healing, and working together to actually make a better America. Politicians, however, offered a more edgy narrative, pushing words like the tip of a sword. These “leaders” are who many people listen to and they, along with the news media, shape opinion using certain words that foment confrontation and division. Herein, is the challenge for all of us: We as a people must come to our own conclusion to accept one another, respect one another, and as Christ called us, to love one another. That’s how real change takes place. The politicians are stuck on the “time to kill” and “a time to break down” part of Ecclesiastes when, in reality, it is “a time to heal” and “a time to build up.”

Have you ever been so discouraged that you wanted to die?
 
That’s how the Israelites felt as they were poised to enter the Promised Land. They said, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness!” (Numbers 14:2 NLT).
 
These people had lost perspective. They were allowing their fear to overwhelm them.
 
But Caleb and Joshua told the people, “Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them” (Numbers 14:9 NKJV).
 
God doesn’t want us to run from our giants. He wants us to attack them. For example, let’s take the giant of addiction. Let’s say you have a problem with drugs or a problem with drinking. Recognize you have a problem. Bring it into the open, into the light of day. Make yourself accountable to someone and realize that you cannot do this in your own strength.
 
Call on God and pray for His power. But don’t just face your giants; defeat them. Don’t leave any backup plan to go back and do that thing again. Deal with your giants. Don’t let them conquer you.
 
Faith and worry cannot coexist because when faith walks in, worry walks out. And when worry steps in, faith walks out. They don’t get along. In fact, they cancel each other out.
 
Someone has wisely pointed out that when you trust, you don’t worry, and when you worry, you don’t trust. So we want faith in our lives, not worry.
 
Every Christian will face difficulty. The Christian life is not a cakewalk; it’s a conflict. The Christian life is not a playground; it’s a battleground. So let’s face the obstacles that are before us with great faith.
