23 Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.

In these last days of man's attempt to rule this world, God has laid out a challenge to anyone claiming to be a god. Since there is only One God and His Name is Jehovah or YAHWEH, God Almighty proclaims in His Word that if there be any other god, then declare the end from the beginning. His challenge is to predict the future.
 
“"Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob. Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come." (Isaiah 41:21-22)
 
Prophecy is only known to God the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. The bible is 27% prophecy and every point that has been fulfilled in history was foretold in your bible with 100% accuracy. Our God knows what will happen before the world was formed. Those that still need to be fulfilled, will come to pass as the God that formed this universe and all that is in it, has willed it and foresaw it's outcome. The false religion of Islam and their god, Allah, knows nothing right along with other false religions of this world.
 
Those that remain unfulfilled are in complete harmony with current secularist futurist predictions. That is to say, events relied on by secular forecasters to develop long-term geopolitical or environmental trends suggest the same outcomes predicted by Scripture. God has shown us the future and it is in His Word...your bible.
 
A FEW EXAMPLES
 
Man sees unrest and wars that virtually cover our planet in a hop scotch form of unrest and upheaval. The Bible predicted wars and rumors of wars in the last days. The elite in Washington predicts a generational war with Islam and the Arab nations.
 
The bible predicts unusual weather patterns and environmental disasters. Weather forecasters have reported nine of the hottest years on record since 1995 and will continue for the unforeseeable future. Earthquakes have increased 400% in the last 10-20 years and volcanoes long thought to be dormant have once again come alive all over the planet.
 
The Bible has predicted there will be signs in the sun, the moon and the stars. NASA predicts that there will be shift in the 11 year solar cycles that will produce increasing hotter temperatures on the surface of the earth.
 
The bible predicts that the sun will someday scorch men with painful sores:
 
“And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. (Revelation 16:9)
 
NASA says changes in the ozone layers and increasing ultraviolet light is responsible for most skin cancers.
 
God Himself issues a challenge to other so-called 'gods' to predict the future:
 
"Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob. Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come." (Isaiah 41:21-22)
 
Only our God, the King of the Universe is omniscient and omniprescent and knows what will happen and when it will happen. God not only knows the future, but the circumstances that will bring it to pass.
 
Our God continues to challenge the false religions of this world. Satan can know some of the details, as he will cause them to happen, but he won't know everything, as he can't predict the future.
 
The best he can do is detail what he has planned in advance to one of his 'prophets'. He doesn't know how those plans will turn out. He had a plan to defeat Jesus by having Him killed by his chosen henchmen. Had he known the outcome, he would have planned things differently:
 
6 "Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
 
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.." (1st Corinthians 2:6-9)
 
Almighty God issues His challenge, because He knows that there are NO other gods, but the God of heaven and earth. He alone is God and it stands to reason that He is able to accurately predict the future. But man led by Satan is determined to be a “god unto himself”...
 
ISLAM, A FALSE RELIGION WITH A FALSE GOD
 
"Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you." (Isaiah 41:24)
 
Although Islam does profess a type of prophecy that they say will happen, they take their predictions from what is said in the bible and twist them to the own end.
 
Islamic predictions of a coming messiah type figure riding on a white horse is taken from Revelation 6:3,
 
“And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”
 
They predict this will be the Mahdi, but as Christians we know that the Bible is identifying the coming Anti-Christ that will come with smooth words to conquer by deceit. Islam predicts that this coming “mahdi” will lead a vast conquering Islamic army to conquer the world by the sword.
 
There was no predictions or prophecy of the coming of Mohammed, but the “twelvers” of Shia Islam claim that the Mahdi has remained alive since 860 A.D., but Mohammed is as dead as anybody else.
 
Islam predicts that the returning Mahdi will line up with their version of Jesus (Isa) and subdue the whole earth for Islam. They don't believe that Jesus is the Son of God, but a prophet of God, and not God Himself. In this coming “war” Isa and the Mahdi will kill 1/3 of all mankind and is a hijacking of Revelation's passages that even Satan can read the prophecies of God written by John the Apostle.
 
Their version lines up with the Anti-Christ and the false prophet. Islam proclaims that this Mahdi and Isa will place a mark in the forehead of it's warriors and followers, as the Bible proclaims the Beast will require a mark on the foreheads, or in their right hand. Coincidence?
 
16" And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” (Revelation 13:16-18)
 
THE RISE OF ISLAM
 
Fifty years ago, you never heard of Islam, as it was assigned to the backward nations of the Middle East and Indonesia. Theirs was a culture and way of life right out of the 6th Century with all it's backward ways. Islam was not a threat to the West or for that matter our Christian way of life. But all that changed starting in 1979 with the overthrow of the Shah of Iran by the Mullahs, led by Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeinin, the leader of the revolution, supported by various leftist and Islamic organizations and Iranian student movements. From that point, with the kidnapping of our American citizens as hostages, that then POTUS Carter was ill equipped to deal with, a declaration of war was declared and waged by the rising Islamic nation led by Iran.
 
It has now been 41 years since that “silent” war erupted and it has been getting louder with each passing year. All over the world, Islam is the fastest growing “religion” that is 1 billion + and growing stronger with new converts even in the once great Christian nation of the U.S.A.
 
As the home of the brave, land of the free becomes more steeped in apostacy, Islam continues to fill the void left by those who abandoned and forsaken the God of heaven.
 
DID GOD RAISE UP A LEADER OF JUDGMENT?
 
We had a “leader” (and I use that tongue in cheek) who on camera professed his form of “Christianity” but behind the scenes praises Islam and promoted its religious ideology whenever he got a chance. Many believe, as I do, that he is a closest Muslim, himself. Christianity of those who follow Jesus Christ are regarded as a danger to modern society, by hate speech, ridicule and sometimes even prosecution for their once honored beliefs in the One true God that this nation was founded upon and our motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” was held in high esteem.
 
IN the past, I have had little hope of this nation rising out of the apostacy that has engulfed her. On our borders, illegal immigration has become rampant, and possible terrorists, even such as ISIS and Iranian terrorist, may have infiltrated our country and are planning attacks, all in the name of “Allah”. Many have already taken place, in San Bernardino, Orlando, and even in Oklahoma. More are sure to come...unless?
 
I see the news reports, of attacks that are growing from “migrants” that have come from countries bent on our destruction and this present “idiot in chief who is mentally challenged” who promotes their repatriation into this country, and a Democrats that would increase that amount 500% . Illegal immigration and the growing terrorist risk that confront our country are number one on the minds of most Americans that truly have their head above ground and not stuck in the sand and ignoring what is happening.
 
One candidate wanted to build a wall on our southern border and I said “build that wall”. Rid this country of the scourge that has infiltrated it in the last 10 years and remove the threat to our freedoms and our way of life. He wanted to remove illegal immigrants who have come here illegally and break our laws. We should do as the Netherlands has done and remove all Muslims and tear down all Mosques and ban Sharia law that is anathema to our Constitution and our way of life, as this is war on our soil and we should own up to it......Further, one nominee wanted to “make America great again” and make her first in dealing with other nations. He says, “Put America first”.
 
I don't want to get political, but America is at a breaking point. Either she will rise out of these ashes with a leader who has his head on straight and sees the danger, or be lulled to sleep by someone who thinks that there are no problems in this country and wants more of the same of the last 8 years of the rule by a Democrat...God forbid!!
 
This coming election in 2024 is pivotal. We will continue to see God Almighty and His plan for the end of man's rule will come to pass, no matter what we wish.
 
THE COMING ANTI-CHRIST
 
IN the past, I have made an hypothesis that the coming Anti-Christ could be Muslim. If he comes from the Middle East, and called the Assyrian, we have a high probability that this man is indeed Muslim. Of course, there are many problems that Israel will face, should this man be of such a religion...but what does the Bible say about this man?
 
“And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.” (Daniel 8:23)
 
“But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.” (Daniel 11:38)
 
“And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.” (Daniel 8:25)
 
Whether this man proclaims a false Christianity, or believes and follows the war-like ideology of Islam, the bible says he will magnify his own name above all....He will abandon the God of the Bible, or the false god, Allah for himself.
 
ISLAM, THE TERROR OF THE NATIONS
 
Is the Anti-Christ Islamic? Is the supposed coming of the 12th Imam, the Anti-Christ.? Understand that Satan is a powerful deceiver. He relishes deceiving mankind with parallel false religions that mirrors God’s way and His salvation message. Could Islam be that false message, with its false god and its false messiah? Some believe that Islam will be defeated in the battle of Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38& 39, but it would do well as a watchful Christian to keep an eye on Islam prior to these battles, as Islam is the antithesis of all that is Holy and ordained by our Almighty God, Jehovah or Yahweh…the great I AM, THAT I AM. Paul spoke of this man called the Anti-Christ and his false religion:
 
“The coming of the lawless one (the Anti-Christ) is according to the working of Satan with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (II Thessalonians 2:9-12.)
 
IRAN IS AGAIN LEADING IN THE NEWS
 
It has been 41 years since Iran stuck their slimy head above the political landscape and has been almost daily the center of Islamic barbarism. From the time of 9/11 and the World Trade Center, the nation of America has dealt with the ideology of Islam and Iran has become the focal point of all that Islam stands for in their crusade for conquest and world domination.
 
I was horrified to learn that this so called Iran Nuclear Deal, was nothing but a sham by our past POTUS Obummer and gives Iran license to pursue their goal of becoming a nuclear power. For the last 30 years, Iran has been secretly planning on conquest and developing a nuclear weapon and that administration gave them the green light, and wrapped the deal in a ribbon with a big red bow.
 
Their not so hidden agenda is to be the hegemony power in the Middle East and plans to destroy Israel is priority #1 on their list. The fulfilling of Ezekiel 38 & 39 are on our doorstep and awaits for its prophetic completion. Those who believe your bible, know that the God of heaven will defend Israel with a vengeance and fury that will be devastating to this coalition led by Iran when they come down to Israel. I believe that Islam will be dealt a major blow when 5/6 of this invading army is defeated by God Himself on the mountains of Israel. But know that Islam will not be totally defeated, in my humble opinion.
 
THE UNVEILING OF THE ANTI-CHRIST
 
I'm a firm believer that what is holding back the total onslaught of Islam and the rise of the Anti-Christ is the U.S.A and her population of Christian believers standing in it's way. That's why this election is so important. Either the unveiling of the Anti-Christ will come shortly in the near future, or be delayed because American becomes stronger by being led by a patriot that loves this country. If Islam is the underlying “religion” of the man of sin, then it is being held in check by One all powerful Force, God's Holy Spirit, which is the essence of His power on earth.
 
If , and I make that with all sincerity, this nation falls into further apostacy and God's judgment falls on this land, then the unveiling of the Anti-Christ, could be coming sooner than later. But this nation with it's large Christian population could suspend judgment on this nation, (although it will come on the whole world) for a season. I am reminded of II Chronicles:
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (II Chronicles 7:4)
 
God is in control. He sees the end from the beginning. He sees the future of this country and it's rise, or it's fall. He sees the false religion of Islam and will judge her and her leader harshly with fire and brimstone in their ultimate defeat. He will finally judge the nations, the Anti-Christ and his false prophet in the lake of fire. The only thing that stands firmly in Satan's path to complete destruction of this world, are Christians who pray and hold fast to the teachings of the Bible. If this nation does not turn back to God, then God will bring judgment on this nation, but not before removing all restraint that is holding back that judgment:
 
“6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (II Thessalonians 2:6-10)
 
It all comes down to God knows the future...we are watching and praying for His will to be done. When God removes the Restrainer (God's Holy Spirit), God will also remove His people, the Church at that time. It will be sooner, or it will be later. It doesn't bother me who will be elected this time around. I will do my civic duty and vote my conscious, but whoever is elected, it will hasten or slow the removal of God's Church and the revealing of the Anti-Christ. Whether he be Muslim, false Christianity, or finally an atheist in the end, does not matter to those who are born of the blood and the water of Jesus Christ. The blood from being covered by His atonement death on the cross, and the water from being baptized and embracing that we have died to the former lives we had, and we live anew to God in our bodies...Till He Comes.
 
WHERE TO DO YOU STAND?
 
If you have been following the news and see that the world is even a more dangerous place than you can ever remember, what will you do when all hell breaks loose and the end of this age is upon us...not in your head, but for real!!. Will you wake up one day and find millions gone and haven't a clue to what has happened? I tell you what has happened before it happens for real. God has removed His Church and you are shackled with the knowledge that the Tribulation will start on Day 1 of God removing His church from this planet.
 
Will you submit to the religion of the Anti-Christ, or Islam, and take whatever that mark is planted on your forehead and in your right hand? What will you do, what will you think, and where will be your faith be? Will it be in men, or in God? Men will fail you, but God never will. Like I said, this election is a pivot for the near future. We will, as a nation, go down in flames, or rise up for a season until Jesus comes and removes His Bride from this earth. God knows the future. He is God and He has given us ample warning of the nearness of the hour of the soon coming of His Son, Jesus Christ. It could be this fall...it's could be next year...it could be before I finish this message. But make no mistake, God knows when that time is up...we can only see the season. Jesus warned us in Matthew 24 what the signs would be. Would you not agree that they are all around us?...the times are shouting at each of us, growing more fervent in their attempt to bring us to repentance and choose His Son while there is still time.
 
“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:28)
 
We have been seeing these signs for a number of years, since the creation of Israel as a nation in 1948. That generation will not pass away till all things be fulfilled..Men have tried to pinpoint the coming of Jesus, but God said that we will know the season, and we will know the length of a generation. It's in your bible...70 years, and 80 by strength.(Psalm 90) We are near the end of that generation. Jesus could come and if you're not ready, will catch you by surprise and flat footed. Don't let that happen. Make Jesus your Savior right now..
 
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” (John 3:16-19)
 
8 "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Over the past few decades, evangelical Christians have emerged as one of Israel's core bases of support both in the United States and many other countries as well. However, growing trends of secularization and liberal ideology, as well as the erosion of a pro-Israel theology, are threatening to undermine this support, particularly among young evangelicals.
 
A recent poll commissioned by two University of North Carolina at Pembroke professors--Mordechai Inbari and Kirill Bumin--showing a sharp drop in support for Israel among the younger set has raised some eyebrows.
 
It found that young evangelical support for Israel had plunged to 33.6 percent from 69 percent in a 2018 poll. Those supporting the Palestinian side rose to 24.3 percent, up from 6 percent in 2018. Those supporting neither side stood at 42.2 percent.
 
The poll focused on evangelicals ages 18 to 29, and was conducted between March 22 and April 2 by the Barna Group, a polling and research firm focusing on issues of faith and culture.
 
It appears to be backed by earlier polls. Shibley Telhami, the Anwar Sadat Professor at the University of Maryland and director of the university's Critical Issues Poll, tells JNS that two polls he conducted in 2015 and 2018 also exhibited a widening gap in support for Israel between younger and older evangelicals. In 2015, 40 percent of young evangelicals said the United States should lean towards Israel, a number that dropped to 21 percent in 2018.
 
Inbari and Bumin remain cautious in explaining the reasons, saying they're in the "preliminary stages" of their analysis.
 
Still, they have their hypotheses, one of which is related to the racial makeup of evangelicals.
 
"We discovered that race matters," says Bumin. "What we find is that African-Americans are about 34 or 36 percent less likely to support Israel than people from other ethnic groups."
 
Telhami says the demographic issue is "probably the biggest thing that's going on. Why? Because we know that the evangelical population that is most supportive of Israel is white evangelicals."
 
Inbari and Bumin also note that progressive ideas relating to social and racial justice have made their way into evangelical churches, of which the Palestinian issue is a subset. Palestinians are "lumped" with a number of other "threatened minorities," whereas Israel is viewed as an aggressor, explains Bumin.
 
'This is a big shift'
 
Another factor is theology. Evangelicals traditionally identify with premillennialism, which teaches that God's promise to the Jewish people remains in force and that there is still a role for the Jewish people to play in the "end times," which includes a return to the Land of Israel.
 
In contrast, amillennialism--sometimes referred to as supersessionism, or replacement theology--maintains that God's promise to the people of Israel has been fulfilled with the advent of Jesus, and so they no longer have a role in the Divine plan.
 
Inbari says there has been an "erosion" of premillennialism: "This is a big shift. We see this very, very clearly now already in two surveys."
 
Bumin says they found that amillennialist pastors tend to be younger than premillennial ones. He surmises that young evangelicals gravitate towards the younger pastors. "If I'm a young evangelical and I'm shopping around for which church I want to go to, I want to go to someone who ... kind of understands my situation."
 
Bumin also says there is less focus on eschatology, the study of the "end times," in evangelical churches. "This is more anecdotal, but we are hearing this from multiple pastors and church leaders. ... They say that increasingly what their pastors are talking about is not the end times, but rather more mundane daily concerns of young evangelicals. And so if the focus shifts away from the discussion of eschatology ... the mentioning of Israel, the mentioning of the Jewish people becomes less frequent," he says.
 
Bumin notes this is the case in megachurches, which are "not necessarily focused on eschatology or theology."
 
According to the Hartford Institute for Religion Research's 2020 Megachurch Report, there are 1,750 mega-churches in America, defined as churches with regular attendance of 2,000 or more. These mega-churches "tend to be far more supportive of the Palestinian people," says Bumin.
 
Premillennialists also tend to "interpret Bible very literally," he says, with Inbari adding that "older evangelicals may be closer to a literal translation of the Bible, while younger evangelicals may take the Bible as a guideline or portrayal rather than literal rules."
 
'Poll is misleading, like many others'
 
The new poll has been criticized by some precisely on the religiosity of those surveyed.
 
Josh Reinstein, director of Israel's Knesset Christian Allies Caucus, tells JNS "the poll is misleading like the many others before it. The children of evangelicals are a lot less religious than their parents. I believe that if the pollsters only asked people in that age group that go to church on Sundays, you would see a way higher show of support for Israel."
 
Reinstein says that because evangelical theology holds that God's covenant with Abraham is everlasting, evangelicals are "by definition" pro-Israel.
 
Pastor John Hagee, chairman and founder of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States, similarly tells JNS in connection with a recent split in the Southern Baptist Convention, "If you are a Bible-believing Christian, you will be a supporter of Israel. If you're not, you won't be. End of story."
 
Is the poll representing the irreligious offspring of evangelicals, as Reinstein suggests? Does it simply show young evangelicals are less supportive of Israel? Or does it reveal that young evangelicals are not only drifting from Israel, but from the Bible and traditional evangelicalism as well?
 
Jim Fletcher, an independent researcher and writer on evangelical issues who spent 15 years in Christian book publishing, says it's the latter, and he isn't surprised by the poll results. There has been a "mass exodus" of young evangelicals leaving church, he states, especially when they get to college.
 
Bible study has been diluted, premillennial theology weakened, and social-justice issues have been injected into the church, he says, affirming much of what Inbari and Bumin suggest but also dismissing one of their most important hypotheses, relegating the racial demographics to almost a nonissue. Noting that some black leadership is very pro-Israel, he says, "I'm much more concerned about white evangelical leadership. That's the problem."
 
'Subtle' de-emphasis on the Bible
 
He points to several key factors that have negatively impacted evangelicalism.
 
One is the Church Growth Movement, sometimes called the seeker-sensitive movement, which began in the 1960s. "It's all the same concept. You're tailoring your church service to make the attendee comfortable," says Fletcher. "In essence, the model is you go out and you canvas the neighborhood, and you find out what people want in a church. Then you go do that."
 
He says the movement was spearheaded by megachurch pastors like Bill Hybels and Rick Warren. He notes that Hybels and his wife are not Christian Zionists, and so lean towards the Palestinians. He says that, too, has been copied by their protégés. "It's been a problem as their church model multiplied; it just filtered down."
 
The Church Growth model has several unintended consequences, says Fletcher, one of which is a "subtle" de-emphasis on the Bible. "When I was growing up in the evangelical church--and I was born and raised Southern Baptist--we had congregational Bible reading, meaning a pastor would read scripture from the pulpit, and we would all follow along in our Bibles that we would bring to church," he relates.
 
"Now what they call Bible study is often a Bible study created by and for the lead pastor. So, for example, with Rick Warren, you have his famous book, The Purpose Driven Life. Well, [that] stepped in as a Bible-study substitute for actual Bible study. The end result is you're not going to get a comprehensive view of scripture. You're not going to understand, in the context of what we're talking about, Jewish history," explains Fletcher.
 
He notes that another hallmark of such churches is they're nondenominational, drawing in people from many backgrounds. "You've got Baptists. You've got Assemblies of God. You've got Methodists. You've got some Presbyterians," he says. "If you are a pastor and you want to teach about Israel, if you want to teach about Jewish history, if you want to teach about Hebrew scriptures, you're going to have people in that congregation who don't want to hear that, for whatever reason."
 
He says the pastor isn't going to want to offend them because a) once offended, they'll leave, and that reduces church coffers; and b) it goes against the Church Growth credo, which puts the congregants and their comfort first.
 
Fletcher doesn't lay all the blame on the Church Growth Movement. He says liberal theology has been a "huge problem" in the last 30 years, filtering down from pastors to congregations and Christian millennials. "Years ago, there was a Bible study developed in the United Methodist Church called 'Disciple Bible Study.'
 
I was astonished when I went through these studies for the Old Testament at how much of it was relegated to myth. When you do that over time, especially in an entire denomination, you're going to wipe out any view that Jewish history is real.
 
"So if Jewish history isn't all true, then a Christian millennial today can say, 'Well, then why is the Jewish claim to the Land of Israel stronger than the Palestinians or anybody else?' And that is absolutely what's happened."
 
Fletcher says 40 years ago, pastors and ministry leaders, such as Jerry Falwell Sr. and Adrian Rogers, who were personally pro-Israel, acted as "a kind of firewall."
 
He expresses surprise that Hagee dismissed the problem, noting that 10 years ago, CUFI was the one warning of the danger: "If Hagee thinks there isn't a problem, he's wrong. We have a serious, serious problem with pro-Israel support in this country in churches."
 
And, he adds, "we have a serious education problem in the evangelical church. Too many people just don't know a lot about any given subject. They're smart, but they're starved for information because their pastor is up there hawking his latest book from the pulpit on Sunday morning, instead of explaining serious issues."
 
The poll does suggest a lack of basic knowledge about the Arab-Israeli conflict among young evangelicals. Even as it shows support for Israel dropping, more than 71 percent said "Jerusalem, in its entirety, should be the capital of the State of Israel, and its governance should not be shared with the Palestinians." Assuming a shift away from Israel, such a large number taking an anti-Palestinian position displays, at the very least, confusion on the subject.
 
Fletcher dismisses the criticism, frequently heard in Israel, that the country has devoted too much attention to its evangelical supporters at the expense of others. He says the situation is the opposite. "I think Israel needs to establish an actual group that would engage with evangelicals 24/7. I think they don't do it enough."
 
Fletcher would have found a more ready ear in the previous Israeli government. Former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer drew headlines when he told a Makor Rishon conference in May that Israel should focus its public-relations outreach on evangelicals over U.S. Jews. Israel's new Foreign Minister Yair Lapid holds the reverse opinion, having warned for years that the Netanyahu administration had become too close to the "conservative evangelical faction of the Republican Party."
 
Fletcher's prescription is two-fold. He says Israel needs to come up with a "serious strategy beyond just bringing in tourists and engaging with big ministry heads. They need to do grassroots work here in American churches."
 
For evangelicals, they need to "get back to individual Bible study and branch out from there." He doesn't hold out much hope for changing the minds of ministry heads, but U.S. evangelicals "individually need to get into serious Bible study and serious study of these issues, such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."

#1 25-year-old Joel Davis was supposed to be one of the good guys. He was nominated for a Nobel prize after founding an organization that sought to end sexual violence against children, but how he has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for doing things that are absolutely unthinkable…
 
The founder of an organization dedicated to ending child sex abuse has been sentenced to 13 years in prison on child rape and child pornography charges.
 
Joel Davis, 25, was convicted of ‘enticing a child to engage in illegal sexual activity,’ possession and distribution of child pornography, US Attorney for the Southern District of New York Audrey Strauss announced on Tuesday.
 
Of course Davis is far from alone. There are 780,407 registered sex offenders in America today, but that number only includes those that have actually been caught.
 
At this point, our society is absolutely teeming with sexual predators, and they are represented on every level of society.
 
#2 Country music fans are supposed to be much better behaved than most other music fans, but even they are starting to behave like crazed mindless zombies. During a “Redneck Rave” in Kentucky this past weekend, there were numerous acts of violence and four dozen people were charged with various crimes…
 
Police said that by the end of the five-day bash, dubbed the “Redneck Rave,” one man had been impaled, one woman had been strangled to the point of unconsciousness, and one throat had been slit. In all, Edmonson authorities arrested 14 people, and charged four dozen people from five states.
 
If even country music fans are starting to get this wild, I think that is a really troubling sign for our society as a whole.
 
#3 Chicago has been a very violent city for a long time, but when Yasmin Perez and Gyovanni Arzuaga were dragged out of their vehicles and shot by an angry mob, it shocked the entire world…
 
Disturbing video footage circulating on social-media that apparently captured the 9:15 p.m. assault shows the victims either being pulled or falling out of their car — which was flying a Puerto Rican flag — then blasted at close-range by a single gunman.
 
Arzuaga, 24, was fatally shot in the head, while Perez, the 25-year-old mother of the couple’s two children, was left in critical condition from a gunshot to the neck, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
 
We have now learned that Perez has died too.
 
The couple had two children together, and now both of their parents are dead.
 
What are those two children supposed to do now?
 
#4 According to text messages obtained by the Daily Mail, it appears that Hunter Biden paid a Russian prostitute $25,000 using a financial account that was linked to his very famous father…
 
Hotel bills show Hunter then moved to a $470-per-night room at The Jeremy in West Hollywood later that month, where he hired another escort while under the protection of two recently retired Secret Service agents.
 
And messages saved on the laptop show Joe Biden might have inadvertently been the person actually paying the bill for the wild week, according to the messages obtained by the Post.
 
In recent days, a number of extremely shocking revelations about Hunter Biden and the Biden family have come out in the British press.
 
But the bigger story is that the corporate media in the United States is almost completely ignoring these revelations. Telling the truth about the Bidens would hurt the agendas that they are trying to push, and so the Bidens are off limits for now.
 
Our corporate media is deeply, deeply corrupt, and that isn’t going to change.
 
#5 The week, we learned that a CDC “safety group” has acknowledged that COVID shots are causing many teens to develop a “heart inflammatory condition”…
 
A CDC safety group said there’s a “likely association” between a rare heart inflammatory condition in adolescents and young adults mostly after they’ve received their second Covid-19 vaccine shot, citing the most recent data available.
 
There have been more than 1,200 cases of a myocarditis or pericarditis mostly in people 30 and under who received Pfizer’s or Moderna’s Covid vaccine, according to a series of slide presentations published Wednesday for a meeting of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
 
Even though they know that this is happening, they are just going to keep giving injections to more kids.
 
In the end, how many thousands upon thousands of young Americans will develop myocarditis or pericarditis as a result?
 
I could make this list much longer, but I think by now you get my point.
 
From the very top to the very bottom, the very fabric of our society is coming apart at the seams.
 
So many of the “good guys” turn out to be quite evil, and often the wickedness in the halls of power is even worse than it is in our streets.
 
Millions of Americans are working so hard to find a political solution to our problems, but the truth is that there is great depravity all across the political spectrum. Replacing one set of depraved politicians with another set of depraved politicians is not going to accomplish much of anything.
 
In the end, what we are facing is a heart problem. The hearts of the American people need to change, but at this point much of the population is eagerly rushing toward more evil as rapidly as they can.
 
Many of us will continue to call for a renewal in America, but time is running out.
 
There is a little bit less sand in the hourglass with each passing day, and it won’t be too long before we reach the moment when it is entirely empty.

"The night is far spent the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying." Romans 13:12-13.
 
We take many things for granted that are, in reality, blessings from God. Take light, for instance. We assume that the sun will come up every morning, and warm the earth, help plants grow, and allow us to see any obstacles that might trip us. It will set in the evening and darkness will come over the earth, and with it, coolness and the lesser light of the moon and the stars. The moon is only a reflection of the sun’s light. If you’re blessed to live where the artificial lights of the world don’t cover them, you can see millions of stars that glitter in the darkness. What a beautiful sight to see. Darkness does have a certain kind of beauty, unless you’re referring to the darkness of Satan. Darkness is used to describe the evil works of the devil, but the glorious works of God are described as light. The Apostle John wrote much about Jesus being the light of the world. After stating that Jesus is the Creator of all things, John writess “In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:4-5. People who choose to follow the darkness of Satan cannot understand the Light of God.
 
It’s hard to wrap our minds around it, but light was the first thing Jesus spoke into existence, even before He created the sun, moon, or stars. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the eath. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:1-2. God created the heaven and earth, but all was dark until God spoke “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:3. The Hebrew word here is “owr” which is the light itself, not the thing from which it’s emitted. There had to be light before anything could survive. “And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day and darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” Genesis 1:4-5. It’s important to understand Genesis in order to understand that there was no big bang, and no evolutionary cosmic goo that somehow became life in its many forms.
 
It wasn’t until the fourth day that God spoke the sun and moon into being. “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and for years: and let them be for lights in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.” Genesis 1:14-19. On this fourth day, God created the sun, moon, and stars. Light had already been spoken into being, but now it was contained and set on a rotation of rising and setting.
 
The world is a very dark place without light. Satan is ruler of the evil done in darkness. Jesus is the Light of the World, but Satan is the god of this world. Those who follow Satan cannot understand light "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil." John 3:19. The word for darkness is the Greek word “skotos” which metaphorically means “of ignorance respecting divine things and human duties, and the accompanying ungodliness and immorality, together with their consequent misery in hell”. It’s much better to embrace the light of Jesus and not face the misery that results from sin that makes life miserable. The disease sin brings is not worth stumbling around in darkness. I’ve never been in jail, but people I know who have spent time there don’t want to go back. The sin wasn’t worth the price paid. Yet, the darkness has a stronghold upon the sinner, the darkness engulfs them. “The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness." Luke 11:34-35. Various translations render the word “single” as “good” “healthy, and “clear”. Darkness will always cause you to stumble and fall.
 
Light extinguishes the darkness, even a spark in the darkness shines bright. Remember, Jesus is the Light of the world, and His light shines through those of us who call ourselves Christians. "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." John 8:12. Following Jesus is following the light. He will light your pathway. Follow His light and flee from the darkness of sin.
 
Paul was a hateful man who was going to Damascus to arrest people who had placed their faith in Jesus Christ. His life was changed dramatically when he saw the light of Jesus. “And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:” Acts 9:3. The darkness in which Paul lived was shattered by the light of God. Jesus gave Paul a mission. “But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in which I will appear unto thee; delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” Acts 26:16-18. Before Paul could fulfill this directive from Jesus, he had to let go of the darkness. Paul did let go of his dark sin and faithfully spread the light of the Gospel to a dark world and today we benefit from his faithfulness. We need to follow His example in spreading the Light of God to a dark world.
 
When a person encounters Jesus, it may not be quite as dramatic as Paul’s encounter, but it is just as important, and it should be just as life changing. We need to stop living in the darkness of sin and death. "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness." John 12:46. Study Scripture, which is God’s word, and apply it to your life. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105. How can you follow the light if you don’t turn it on? The Holy Spirit lives in each and every Christian. He is our guide in following God’s instructions, but we can hinder him. “Quench not the Spirit.” 1 Thessalonians 5:19. Don’t let the Light of God dim in your life. Stand firm on His word every day. It may not be easy to walk in the Light of the World, but it makes life easier than stumbling in the darkness.
 
We all slip into the darkness at times. Sometimes we move away from the Light on purpose, but you can rest assured that there is always forgiveness for the truly repentant person. "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." 1 John 2:1-2. The word “propitiation” is from the Greek word “hilasmos” which means “appeasing”. So, Jesus is the appeasement for our sins. Thank You, Jesus.
 
The Apostle Paul, who was highly educated in his Jewish faith, understood that God created everything. "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6. This agrees with Genesis chapter 1 as well as with the Gospel of John chapter 1. Jesus Christ is the Creator of all that is and He called light into existence. He was the light before the sun, moon, and stars. He will be the Light throughout eternity, and He shines through us today. Let His light shine through your life. Turn away from darkness and walk in His light daily. In Romans, chapter 1, Paul reveals the consequence of the sin of rejecting God as the Creator and we see that happening in the nations today as the darkness of sin is accepted as the standard of living. We are swiftly moving to the end of time. It’s hard to imagine a world where darkness rules even more than it does today. We can see the darkness of sin getting blacker, but today we still have the Light of the world in us. "Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth." John 12:35. As Christians we need to walk in the light without wavering. We cannot waver in our walk, but must stay in God’s Light. Parents must teach children to follow the Light instead of the darkness of the world. It's important to teach our children, but it’s also important for parents to walk in the Light as examples to the children. If we quench the Light of God in us, we leave the world in the dark. The darkness of sin is growing because Christians aren’t following the Light and are allowing Satan’s dark lies to be taught to children in schools and allowing dark, satanic thoughts to permeate our children’s thinking through music, movies, and television. Satan’s dark evil is strong in the world of entertainment.
 
Moses led the Israelites from captivity in Egypt and for 40 years wandering in the wilderness. When Moses died, Joshua led the Israelites in the battle for the land that God promised to Abraham. Satanic evil was thriving there and the battle was tough, but Joshua was a strong leader who followed God instead of the satanic gods of the Egyptians and the pagan inhabitants of the Promised Land. Joshua made his position clear. “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but a for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15. Fathers, you need to take a stand and lead your family in the Light of God. Mothers, if the father in the household is weak and chooses darkness, you take a stand. As Christian parents, be sure you walk in the same Light in which you want your children to walk. Don’t let the light that shines in you be darkness.
 
When we accept Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection for salvation, our life needs to change from walking in darkness to walking in the Light. "Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness." 1 Thessalonians 5:5. Stop serving darkness. Like Joshua challenged the Israelites, choose this day whom ye will serve…demonic gods who fill you with darkness, or Jesus Christ who is the Light of the world. Christians are a new creation in Christ. All sin is forgiven when you surrender to Christ, so stop stumbling in the dark and come to the Light of the world and allow His light to outshine the darkness of Satan. Walk in His light.

Democrats are taking heat for the uptick in homicides and crime. They need to be held accountable after decimating police forces in the cities they lead and going soft on criminals. Think about how many stories we have read about the Biden Administration and, quite frankly, Democratic state governors, releasing criminals back into society, only to see them back in court for even worse crimes. So now we have a problem of rising crime and the Democrats not wanting to take responsibility for the, quite frankly, stupid ideas they implemented without any concept of the consequences. Once again, it’s a gun problem. Their mantra: If we just take guns away from people, violent crime will cease. This is insane.
 
The cities and states with the most stringent gun controls this side of third world dictatorships have the highest violent crime rates, especially when they defund the police. Taking guns away from law-abiding citizens is only going to put those citizens at higher risk. It’s proven over and over again that criminals will have guns and they will use them. The idea of gun control and defunding police is a recipe for higher crime. Yet, we have the news media, liberal politicians and a President that insist the issue is one of guns. A western movie in the 60s once explained that a gun is neither evil or good, it’s the person using the gun that determines how that weapon is used. And therein is the problem.
 
Liberal politicians are high on control and low on accountability. Everybody has their excuse, their sad story as to why they are the way they are. Oh, they are poor so they can’t be held by the same standards. Oh, the standards were made by a white majority so others should not be held accountable to those standards. Oh, if guns weren’t available, there would be no gun crime. The same worn out excuses expecting a different result. But what are we to expect? Government schools are focused on teaching social victimization, sexual orientation, revisionist history and leftist politics cloaked as science instead of responsibility, accountability, good citizenship, discernment, along with reading, writing and arithmetic.
 
Want to reduce crime? Teach values instead of victimization. Teach respect for the law, and for those enforcing it. Teach people how to pull themselves out of poverty and help them do it, instead of blaming their situation on someone else and establishing generational welfare. What about bringing the Ten Commandments back to school and into the households? Exodus 20:12-17: Honor your father and your mother; Thou shalt not murder; Thou shalt not commit adultery; Thou shalt not steal; Thou shalt not bear false witness; and thou shalt not covet. All of these commandments are essential to preventing violent crime—all of them. Yet we have a bunch of politicians who want to ignore that character counts because they think the gun is the reason for the crime.

Have you ever wondered if you were really wanted somewhere?
 
As Jesus walked along with the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, the Bible tells us, “Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and [Jesus] indicated that He would have gone farther” (Luke 24:28 NKJV).
 
I can imagine Jesus saying, “Okay, guys, good to see you. Bye now.”
 
“Wait. Where are you going?”
 
“I’m leaving.”
 
“No, no, no. You’re not going anywhere. Come and spend some more time with us.”
 
In fact, they said, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent” (verse 29 NKJV). I love the next part of this verse: “And He went in to stay with them.”
 
The apostle Paul said His prayer for the Ephesian believers was that “Christ may dwell in [their] hearts through faith” (Ephesians 3:17 NKJV).
 
Why would Paul pray that Christ would dwell in the hearts of those who were already Christians? Doesn’t Christ dwell in the heart of every believer?
 
Yes, He does. But the word “dwell” is a compound word that basically means to live in a house. And when a prefix meaning “down” is added, it means “to settle down and be at home.”
 
So here’s what Paul was saying: “My prayer for you is that Christ would settle down and be at home in your hearts.”
 
For the sake of illustration, let’s say that Jesus was coming to your house today. Certainly, you’d want to clean up. But is there anything that you wouldn’t want Him to see? To be a Christian means giving Christ the master key to every door. It means wanting Him to be at home and in control of every part of our lives.
 
Is Jesus at home in your heart today?
