I have known Christians that didn’t seem to know anything about Bible prophecy to say, “I know this; we are one day closer to the return of Jesus today than we were yesterday.” No one can deny that each day moves the world one day closer to the return of Jesus, but people need to realize that major prophecies are shaping up, and they appear to be on steroids. Biblically speaking, wars and rumors of wars, famine, inflation, natural disasters, world government, tracking all buying and selling, etc., are happening like birth pains (coming faster and harder). They appear to be unstoppable (and very well could be because every word of Bible prophecy will be fulfilled). Consider these recent events and reports: One, concerning natural disasters: several years of drought and growth have caused the two largest water reservoirs in the U.S. to reach their lowest levels since they were built (Lake Mead and Lake Powell). On June 17, 2022, it was reported that the Bureau of Reclamation has given the seven states in the Colorado River system 60 days to draft an emergency plan to cut their water usage in the next 12 months or the Bureau of Reclamation will declare an emergency and make the cuts that need to be made. Commissioner Camille Touton told a group of U.S. Senators, “The challenges we are seeing today are unlike anything we have seen in our history.” (More: On June 21, 2022, it was reported that flooding in southern China has forced the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of people and caused more than $250 million in damage to date.) (More: On June 22, 2022, it was reported that a 6.1 earthquake in eastern Afghanistan has killed about 1,000, injured about 1,500, and many families are missing.) Two, concerning Israel’s prosperity and the Battle of Gog and Magog: on June 15, 2022, Israel signed an agreement with the EU to send liquified natural gas to Europe, and that will be a major blow to Russia’s economy. Israel will send the liquified natural gas to Egypt, and it will flow on to Europe over Egyptian pipelines. In addition to getting a big chunk of Russia’s business, Israel will have improved relations with the EU and Egypt. Amir Tsarfati called this blow to Russia “a countdown to the Battle of Gog and Magog.” Time will tell, but Russia’s need for wealth and Israel’s prosperity clearly fit Bible prophecy. Three, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog or perhaps the destruction of Damascus in one night: last week, I reported that Israeli rockets struck several targets near Damascus on June 10, 2022, and there was significant damage to civilian and military runways at the Damascus International Airport. The airport was using a Russian-made radar system that was damaged in the attack. Syria wants Russia to repair the radar system so planes can land and take off, but Russia will only repair it if Russia is given control of the airport. Iran has been controlling the airport and is not likely to let Russia have it. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Four, concerning the destruction of Damascus in one night (Isa. 17): on June 15, 2022, it was reported that an Israeli official told Syrian Pres. Assad that he risks losing the Damascus International Airport if he continues to allow Iranian planes to land there with weapons and supplies for use against Israel. (More: The next day, June 16, 2022, it was reported that the Israeli official also told Assad that Israel reserves the right to bomb his palace if he continues to allow Iranian planes to land at the Damascus International Airport with weapons and supplies for use against Israel. This could turn out to be the destruction of Damascus in one night– Isa. 17.) Five, concerning the Israeli government: on June 20, 2022, Israeli Prime Min. Naftali Bennett and Alternate Prime Min. Yair Lapid announced that they will bring a vote to dissolve their government in one week and schedule an election of a new government for Oct. 25, 2022. Former Prime Min. Netanyahu will seek the nomination of his Likud Party, but his enemies will desperately try to stop him, and who will run and win remains to be determined. (More: On June 21, 2022, it was reported that Ayelet Shaked, a member of Prime Min. Bennett’s party, told Netanyahu she will switch to his party, giving him enough members to form a government if he wants to avoid another election. The report did not say what Netanyahu will do.) Six, concerning wickedness as in the days of Noah: more than 20 crisis pregnancy centers have been damaged by graffiti, smashed windows and arson since Politico published the Supreme Court’s draft opinion concerning Roe v. Wade in early May. A terrorist group that calls itself Jane’s Revenge has taken credit for the crimes and threatened to take “increasingly drastic measures” in the future. This is literal domestic terrorism, and the Biden administration is completely ignoring it (like ignoring open borders, ignoring Antifa and BLM crimes, ignoring the fact that some prosecutors refuse to prosecute known criminals, etc.), but they jailed Trump supporters that entered the Capitol on Jan. 6, investigated parents that spoke out at school board meetings against teaching CRT, the gay agenda, etc. There is unequal justice in the Biden administration and America’s justice system. Seven, Concerning the days of Lot: on June 21, 2022, it was reported that Pres. Biden has signed an executive order to help young teens get transgender surgeries, to help biological girls 8-10 years get puberty blockers, to help biological boys 10-15 years old get puberty blockers, to allow transgender students to use the bathroom or locker room of their choice at school, to prohibit counseling against transitioning to a different gender, etc. How much worse does America have to get to be as bad as Sodom and Gomorrah? When will our holy, just, and patient God act? Eight, on June 16, 2022, it was reported that the Biden administration may declare a national public health emergency so doctors can perform abortions in states where they are illegal if Roe v. Wade is overturned. Biden may also allow doctors to perform abortions on military bases in those states. So, Biden is looking for ways to let doctors keep killing babies regardless of what the U.S. Supreme Court or individual state laws say. Americans are getting a glimpse of what life will be like under the coming wicked and lawless world government (equal justice won’t exist). Nine, concerning every eye seeing the body of the Two Witnesses lying in the street in Jerusalem (Rev. 11:8) and every eye seeing the Second Coming of Jesus (Rev. 1:7): the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has granted SpaceX permission to put 12,000 Starlink satellites in orbit and is considering SpaceX’s application to put up to 30,000 additional satellites in orbit. Elon Musk (head of SpaceX) wants to put about 42,000 satellites in orbit so every person on earth will have access to the Internet. On June 17, 2022, it was reported that SpaceX has put about 3,000 satellites in orbit to date (SpaceX can put 60 satellites in orbit with just one rocket). If this is the fulfillment of the prophecies, SpaceX only needs to get all the satellites in orbit by the middle of the Tribulation Period. Ten, concerning inflation, lying and deceit: I am not an attorney, but as I understand a June 15, 2022, article:
The high price of gasoline and diesel fuel is contributing to inflation; the high price of food; looming energy and fertilizer shortages; soaring utility bills, etc. Because inflation is soaring, the feds are raising interest rates, the stock market is declining, and some experts are predicting a recession. At the same time that Biden is blaming the energy crisis on Putin and the big oil companies, he is going to court to hold down oil and gas production in the U.S. From a prophetic standpoint, it looks like Biden is setting the stage for the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse to ride soon. (More: At the same time that Biden is going to court to reduce the production of oil and gas in the U.S., he will be meeting with Saudi Arabia to get the Saudis to increase their production of oil and natural gas. If Biden is not deliberately weakening the U.S. to bring it into the New World Order, why is he doing this? It truly looks like the deliberate weakening of America is part of the Build Back Better scheme.) Eleven, concerning food shortages: last week, multitudes of cattle died in Kansas, and the cause has been a matter of rampant speculation. I can’t settle the issue as to why the cattle died, but on June 17, 2022, it was reported that more than 10,000 cattle died. Pray that this is the end of the problem. Twelve, concerning inflation and electrical shortages: most residents of Illinois have been notified that their electric bill will rise about 50% starting this month (June 2022), and some have been asked to reduce the amount of electricity they are using to help prevent brownouts. Thirteen, concerning fuel shortages: diesel fuel is now about $6 per gallon (up about 75% in the last 12 months). Fourteen, concerning the election: on June 18, 2022, about 5,100 delegates and alternates met at the Texas Republican convention to approve their Party Platform. After watching Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary titled “2000 Mules,” the group approved a measure that says Pres. Joe Biden “was not legitimately elected.” (More: On June 20, 2022, Bob Adelmann (regular contributor to The New American) wrote that he watched “2000 Mules,” and he believes Trump won the Electoral College Vote in a landslide (by more than 70 votes). Adelmann noted that the evidence presented in “2000 Mules” has caused the ex-Mayor of San Luis, Arizona, to plead guilty to forgery, conspiracy, and ballot abuse, and to offer evidence as part of a plea bargain. Officials are investigating her claim.) Fifteen, on June 16, 2022, Dr. Michael Brown (Radio Host, Professor, author, Christian Zionist) posted an excellent article titled “How the Triumph Of LGBTQ+ Activism Has Negatively Impacted the Church.” The article is short, filled with great advice, and well worth one’s time. According to Dr. Brown, “The problem for true followers of Jesus is that the Bible hasn’t changed, which means that God is still against homosexual practice and identity. And so, if we want to be in solidarity with the Lord, we will find ourselves at odds with the prevailing culture.” (My opinion: This rift between believers and the prevailing culture is behind the attacks on Churches and pro-life centers that oppose abortion. It will worsen, and it will eventually lead to the persecution of those that are faithful.) Sixteen, concerning a digital currency (a system for government to track all buying and selling and control everyone): on June 17, 2022, Federal Reserve Pres. Jerome Powell announced that the Fed does plan to develop a “Digital Dollar” (sometimes called a Central Bank Digital Currency—CBDC). The Fed will control the digital currency and have the authority to freeze accounts and seize funds (deny you access to your money and take it if they don’t approve of what you say and do). Finally, are you Rapture Ready? If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this. The information it contains is extremely important covering the falling of the Israeli government, the rapid potential approach of a third world war, and Iran’s upgrading of their centrifuges. I will touch on the information here, but it was covered much more in-depth in the update. Israel’s government has collapsed. Prime Minister Bennett is out next week, and foreign minister Yair Lapid will step in on an interim basis until elections can be held, likely on October 25. The Israeli people are fed up with the increase in violence and the decrease in strength. The Prime Minister and his crew were focused much more on social issues than protecting the nation’s citizens at home and abroad. Now the government of change will be changed, and it can’t come soon enough. There is a very strong possibility that Benjamin Netanyahu could see another term. Again, please watch my Breaking News update for much more information. Threats against Israel came from many sides recently. Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah warned Israel that if they begin gas drilling in the Karish field, they will consider it “a provocation and hostile act” and will respond accordingly. On Friday, a rocket launched from Gaza was intercepted by the Iron Dome system. Israeli jets attacked Hamas targets in Gaza in response. The threats against Israeli citizens by Iranian terror cells continue in Turkey, and now the concern has expanded to Egypt, Jordan, UAE, and Bahrain. So far, the attacks have been thwarted. [On Thursday,] information came out that a 10 person Iranian assassination squad was arrested on June 16 & 17 in Turkey. Some of them were members of Iranian intelligence, others belonged to the Quds Force of the IRGC, and all were posing as students and tourists. The plan was to kidnap the former Israeli ambassador to Turkey while killing Israeli diplomats and tourists. The squad had already obtained the necessary weapons. The man identified as promoting this attack is Hossein Taeb, head of the IRGC intelligence arm. Moments after Turkey announced the arrests, Taeb, who has been in his position since 2009, was removed from his station to be replaced by IRGC commander Muhammad Kadhami. We are closer to World War III than we have ever been. This past week, Lithuania declared that it will uphold EU sanctions against Moscow and not allow rail transfer of certain goods across its territory to Kaliningrad, Russia’s only warm water port. This amounts to 50% of the goods transferred to this exclave that is separated from its home country by two other nations. Russia is already reeling because of the EU’s recent agreement with Egypt and Israel for natural gas. The question is how will President Putin respond? Lithuania is a NATO nation, so if Russia responds with force the NATO alliance will be drawn into the conflict. The eyes of the world are watching to see who will blink first. Once again, I have more analysis of this crisis in my Breaking News. Tensions continue to rise between Russia and the US in Syria. Earlier this week, Russian forces attacked targets near al-Tanf, an Iraq-Syria border crossing that houses a US military base. Russia was targeting a Kurdish group that is backed by the US. Alliances are growing all over. Yesterday, in Tehran, Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov met with Iran’s president Ibrahim Raisi. In that meeting, the two men agreed on “a new era of strategic and economic cooperation.” Meanwhile, Turkish president Erdogan welcomed Saudi crown prince Muhammad Bin Salman (MBS) to Ankara. This meeting is particularly interesting. MBS has begun his transition from outcast following the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi to prominent world leader. The fact that he is now being sought out by not just Turkey but the US, both countries which accused him of personally ordering the killing of the journalist, demonstrates once again that politics is not about ideology but about interests. Yesterday they cared about human rights. Today they care about oil prices. As I have been warning for many months, Iran is now increasing the enrichment of uranium to 90%. New generation IR-6 centrifuges have been installed at the underground Fordo nuclear facility, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The only reason to enrich uranium to 90% is for weapons. There are also reports that a large new network of tunnels is being constructed at Natanz, likely also for centrifuges. A mysterious explosion on Friday in western Tehran has now been identified as a UAV attack on a strategic IRGC military base. Parts of the UAVs were smuggled into the country, then reassembled and launched from 10 kilometers away. The facility that was struck was a very important location that focused on research for the design and manufacture of ballistic and short-range missiles. Besides the damage to the facility, one engineer was killed, and another was wounded. Also on Friday, there was an attack on Iran’s Imam Ali base in Deir a-Zor district in Syria. There was quite a bit of action in Iraq this past week. A 12-year-old child and several others were killed in a Turkish strike on the Yazidis in the northern region of Sinjar. Four ISIS militants, including Abu Mansour, the group’s leader in Anbar province, were killed by an Iraqi airstrike on Sunday. Then just yesterday in Kirkuk, a Katyusha rocket was fired toward the headquarters of the Emirati owned Dana Gas company. The notoriously unreliable Russian-made rocket caused no injuries or structural damage. A Monday ISIS attack on a bus in Syria’s Raqqa province has left 11 government soldiers and two civilians dead. Three other soldiers were wounded in the violence that authorities say was carried out on a highway by a terrorist sleeper cell. A 6.3 earthquake struck yesterday near the southern Iran city of Mohr, Fars province. Hours later, a 6.1 quake shook eastern Afghanistan near the Pakistani border. At least 1000 were killed in the temblor and more than 1500 were injured. Many of those affected were in remote areas where rescue is very difficult. For example, the rioting that we witnessed in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd was horrifying, but it only lasted for a matter of weeks. This time around, we are facing a national temper tantrum that won’t be measured in weeks or months. Unless the Supreme Court reverses course on abortion, and I don’t expect that will happen any time soon, the temper tantrum that we are witnessing now is not likely to have an ending point. Millions of hellish ghouls have been stirred up into a state of immense rage, and the entire nation is going to pay the price. The violence that happened over the weekend is just the beginning. From this point forward, no pro-life organization in America will be safe. Very early on Saturday morning, police discovered that a pro-life center in a very conservative area of Virginia had been attacked… Vandals targeted a pro-life center in Lynchburg, Virginia, with threatening graffiti and broken windows following the U.S. Supreme Court voting to overturn Roe. V. Wade on Friday. “If abortion ain’t safe, you ain’t safe,” red graffiti states on an entrance area of the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center, photos posted by local police show. Lynchburg Police responded to the pregnancy center at about 10:40 a.m. on Saturday. Officers found “that the building had been spray painted with graffiti, and multiple windows had been broken out. Security camera footage shows four masked individuals committing the acts.” Unfortunately, as we have seen in recent weeks, these sorts of attacks are often not limited to just broken windows and graffiti. In Colorado, we just witnessed another incident in which radicals actually tried to burn a pro-life organization to the ground… A fire which occurred at a Christian pregnancy clinic in Colorado is being treated as arson after chilling messages were spray painted onto the walls and ground outside. ‘If abortions aren’t safe, neither are you,’ read one. ‘Bans off our bodies’ said another by the entrance at the Life Choices clinic in Longmont, northeast of Boulder. The fire broke out in the middle of the night at 3:17am on Saturday morning. Authorities believe the fire was set deliberately. State legislatures will also be targets in the days ahead. On Friday night, a group of crazed protesters actually tried to break into the Arizona Senate building while bills were actually being voted on… Law enforcement officers in Phoenix, Arizona used tear gas to break up a sizable group of protesters outside the state’s Senate building following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the landmark abortion ruling Roe v. Wade. “Protesters threatened to break the AZ Senate entryway glass,” Republican Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers tweeted, as members were in the middle of voting on a series of bills. The situation escalated into a “hostage” situation as lawmakers were instructed not to exit the building, Republican Arizona State Senator Kelly Townsend said. And then they came back again on Saturday night… On Saturday night, hundreds of anti-lifers attempted another insurrection upon the Arizona Capitol for the second night in a row. Moments before the violence began, one rioter told our correspondent that “people are about to start shit,” and another said, “That’s what I’ve been waiting for.” Others were overheard saying that they wanted a police conflict. At about 11:30 pm MST, the leftist radicals began breaching the Capitol fences in preparation to storm the Capitol. They were chanting, “No justice, no peace!” After multiple warnings from State DPS officers, a fleet of police cars turned their sirens on, and the rioters immediately scattered. “Get on the ground!” yelled the officers before arresting or detaining everybody still on the property. CNN and MSNBC have given endless coverage to the events of January 6th, 2021. So why do they seem so hesitant to cover what is happening in Arizona? In New York City, protesters vandalized the headquarters of Fox News, and some were even suggesting that it should be burned down… In New York, at least 25 people were arrested on Friday after around 17,000 descended on Washington Square Park before marching through the streets to Grand Central Station, Times Square, and Bryant Park. They also stopped outside News Corp headquarters – home to Fox News and the The New York Post – and yelled ‘Burn it down! Burn it down! F*** Tucker Carlson!’ Vandals also sprayed ‘F*** Fox’ on the side of the building. Fox News isn’t even that conservative. But these days anyone that is considered to be associated with the pro-life movement in any way will be a potential target. In Los Angeles, a group of very angry liberals decided to shut down the 110 Freeway, and one of them actually attacked a police officer with “a homemade flamethrower”… Pro-abortion protesters shut down the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angles. El American field journalist Anthony Cabassa captured the moment a vehicle drove through the blockade, and a man slams the car with a pole. Pro-abortion activists clashed with LAPD officers. Fireworks were launched at police officers, and a man attempted to burn cops with a homemade flamethrower, Post Millennial editor Andy Ngo reported. The officer that was attacked with the flamethrower had to go to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. Up in Portland, there were violent protests on both Friday night and Saturday night. Quite a few buildings had their windows smashed, and that included a Starbucks Coffee outlet. Don’t they understand that Starbucks is super liberal? Sadly, when these radicals get riled up they don’t seem to discriminate when it comes to destroying things. Of course some of the largest protests have been in Washington. At one point, one particularly angry group of protesters was openly suggesting that the Supreme Court should be burned down… Antifa-linked pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge vowed to undertake a “night of rage” after the Supreme Court’s ruling on allowing states to make the final call about abortion. Black bloc protesters wielding umbrellas marched through the streets of Washington, D.C. The group chanted slogans such as, “If abortion ain’t safe, neither are you,” “If we don’t get it, burn it down,” “Every city, every town, burn the precinct to the ground,” and “F*** the church, f*** the state, we won’t let them decide our fate.” The protesters burned American flags. From this point forward, authorities are going to have to guard the Supreme Court building 24 hours a day. And the same thing goes for the Supreme Court justices and their families. Earlier today, I was horrified to learn that angry radicals are openly discussing what can be done to hunt them down… One of the top posts in a socialist subreddit featured the addresses of Supreme Court justices that voted to overturn Roe v. Wade. The Reddit users in the anti-capitalist group discussed hunting down Supreme Court justices at their churches and possibly sending them mail bombs. The alarming threats were made in r/WorkersStrikeBack – a self-described “leftist, anti-capitalist, socialist subreddit that is dedicated to support worker strikes, protests and unions all over the world, address the obvious problems related to an average worker’s workplace, offer advice to a fellow worker struggling with their workplace problems and mock or satirize any kind of anti-worker sentiment.” This isn’t going to go away. These people are absolutely furious, and they are going to be relentless. Those that regularly follow my work know that I have been warning for years that great civil unrest would be coming to America. Now it is here. So stay safe out there and watch your back, because things are going to start getting really crazy. I’m Glad and Quite Grateful, But Not Ecstatic – Jonathan Brentner - https://www.jonathanbrentner.com/https/jonathan-brentner-g8fgsquarespacecom/config/2022/6/25/im-glad-and-grateful-but-not-overly-optimistic Make no mistake, the Supreme Court ruling on June 24, 2022, overturning Roe v. Wade is a huge victory for life, and I’m overjoyed with the decision. It will possibly spare hundreds of thousands of lives from a cruel and inhumane death. I praise the Lord for that!! I’m very thankful to the Lord first of all; He has provided this ray of sunshine in the midst of a month given to celebrate evil with vile demonstrations. He has graciously given us a reason to celebrate life during these perilous times. Say what you will about President Donald Trump, but it was his courage to nominate and guide pro-life judges through the confirmation process that led to this ruling. I’m very grateful for his leadership that will result in the saving of a great many lives. Apart from his presidency, abortion up to the moment of birth would now be the law of the land in America. We owe him our gratitude for this. And of course, I thank the brave SC justices who did not give in to threats of violence, an assassination attempt, and constant loud demonstrations at their homes. Instead, they courageously remained true to their convictions. As I write, a total of thirteen states have totally banned abortions and in the end, a total of twenty-six may have laws that either prohibit the murder of children in the womb or greatly restrict this barbaric practice. However, I’m not ecstatic with the outcome because the ruling does not brighten the dark and foreboding clouds that remain on our horizon. And we still have many in leadership who will do all they can to keep the abortion matter alive. MANY LEADERS IN AMERICA REMAIN TOTALLY PRO-DEATH President Biden and those who control his administration are absolutely committed to a culture of death, and they will do all they can to negate this ruling. I have read reports that Biden is considering options such as having doctors on military bases perform abortions. California, New York, and Illinois have governors that do all they can to promote such a dark climate within these highly populous states. Governor Gavin Newsom and the California legislature recently advanced a bill that legalizes the murder of children up to twenty-eight days after birth. He’s a possible choice, a nightmarish one at that, to run for President in 2024 as a Democrat, but I pray, pray, pray that the Rapture happens before that time. Furthermore, there’s a long list of major corporations willing to pay all the travel expenses of female employees who need to go to another state to get an abortion. Still advancing a flagrant disregard for the life of the innocent, President Biden and his wife Jill visited a clinic this week to promote the giving of lethal COVID-19 injections to babies as young as six months. The total number of deaths reported to the CDC as a result of these shots is now over 29,000. How can they promote these potentially lethal injections to preschool children that have a miniscule chance, if any at all, of dying from COVID? THE RAPIDLY APPROACHING SEVEN-YEAR TRIBULATION Despite the great ruling upholding life, it does not change God’s timing regarding what lies ahead. The Revelation 6:1-8 conditions are on our doorstep, which means we will meet Jesus in the air in the near future. As I demonstrated in my post, The Sound of Approaching Hoofbeats, we are ever so close to the time when these riders begin their deadly trek across planet earth. Sadly, many well-intentioned Christians believe that the Tribulation period has already started because of what they see. However, Scripture promises that we will be with the Lord in heaven before that happens. The ruling will also not stop the globalists’ plans to bring about the New World Order as they bring about crisis after crisis. It’s no accident that the food supply across the world is dwindling and will continue to do so as many die of starvation. It will further motivate these elite to pursue their agenda in enslaving the people of the world. OUR HOPE REMAINS SOLELY IN JESUS’ IMMINENT APPEARING Although I’m overjoyed with the reversal of Roe v. Wade and so very thankful to the Lord for it, the ruling does not change the trajectory of our nation; we remain headed for God’s judgment. America remains on course for a head-on collision with the Lord and His righteous standards, and that will not be a pretty sight, not at all. Despite the overdue and welcome ruling, my hope remains fixated on Jesus and on His soon appearing to take me home to the place He’s preparing for me (John 14:1-3). The overturning of Roe v. Wade is absolutely wonderful, but it does not change my thinking regarding the nearness of the seven-year Tribulation and thus to our homegoing. I very much wish I could agree with the rampant optimism that I read on social media. Many believe that this ruling represents a dramatic change of course for the U.S. and now anything and everything are possible for the bright and wonderful future of our nation. But I cannot agree. I know that the ruling will save a great many lives, but I do not see it as a turning point for the U.S. We along with the world remain on a collision course with the rapidly approaching seven-year Tribulation. Until then, my desire is to see as many people as possible turn to Jesus with saving faith. I know that the threatening conditions of our day are leading a great many to their trust in the Savior and I believe this will continue until Jesus appears. However, in examining what the Bible says about the last days and the Tribulation period, I recognize that we remain ever so close to the Tribulation and thus to the Rapture, which happens before it. As believers, we have an amazing, joyous, spectacular, and glorious “blessed hope” consisting of Jesus’ appearing, our immortal new bodies, and a quick trip to heaven, to the place Jesus is preparing for us. This is the blessed expectation that we must keep before our eyes as our world turns darker and more foreboding for us in the months to come, unless, of course, Jesus appears first. Maranatha! Daily Jot: Roe after Roe - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com The US Supreme Court overturned the previous Supreme Court decision of 1973 that the constitution conveyed through the right to privacy a right to abortion. In doing so, SCOTUS is establishing that unless a “right” is enumerated in the Constitution, it is left for the states or the people to decide. Abortion was never an enumerated right in the Constitution. In fact, if anything, the Constitution, its preamble and the Declaration of Independence all uphold life and the right to defend it. Today, there are millions of leftists, many who could care less about abortion, rioting in the streets, demanding that the ”right” to kill the unborn be reestablished. Can anyone see the absurdity in this? They are violently demanding the “right” to kill a baby in the womb. These people are vandalizing pregnancy care centers, places where women can go to receive alternatives to abortion and obtain legitimate “reproductive health” care. In this, one can see the demands of these people in the name of “reproductive health” is hypocritical at best. It is amazing that in a country where laws are established to protect classes of people—minorities, sexual orientation, handicapped, etc.—that the law did not protect those least able to defend themselves: babies in the womb. In fact, a Supreme Court nearly 50 years ago conjured up a “right” that because of individual privacy an expectant mother could choose to kill her unborn child. How shameful. There are many, however, who call themselves Christians who believe abortion should be legal. Many pastors preach it from the pulpit, or secretly support it. Imagine the public outcry if today’s so-called “civil rights” leaders would take abortion on as the issue it was intended to be—Margaret Sanger, eugenics champion and founder of Planned Parenthood, wanted abortion legalized for the purpose of eradicating Black people. Yet leftist politicians, Democrats—the same party that fought for slavery and instituted the racist Jim Crow laws whose residue oppresses Black people even today–claim they fight for the rights of people of color. What about their right to life? There are so many things wrong with abortion that no nation, doctor or prospective parent who participates in abortion will escape judgment save for the blood of Christ. These people are shrill in their claim that abortion is a “right.” But the Declaration of Independence cites that every person has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Without life, one cannot experience liberty and pursuit of happiness. As Deuteronomy 30:19 commands, “Choose life that you and your seed might live.” The Supreme Court rightly determined that there is not a “right” to kill the unborn enumerated or implied in the Constitution. Such a shame for the 70 million plus who died at the altar of this false “right.” Roe after Roe will face tantrums, violence, threats, demands and schemes to reestablish the “right” to kill the most innocent among humans—the unborn child. But Joseph told them, “Don’t be upset, and don’t be angry with yourselves for selling me to this place. It was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives. . . . God has sent me ahead of you to keep you and your families alive and to preserve many survivors” (Genesis 45:5, 7 NLT). God can and will use the experiences of your life to help other people.
