If there is one element of the so-called Covid-19 pandemic that presages Tribulation era Bible prophecy, it is the hue and cry, the over-the-top clamor for vaccination compliance. I say so-called pandemic, because statistics have long since documented that this virus nowhere near reaches the level of previous true pandemics. Again, I address the topic of the virus with the understanding that it is serious. All such infections are serious and must be dealt with care and common sense. However, it is the common sense aspect that is missing in this so-called pandemic. It is a manufactured pandemic with a biblically prophetic attachment that should not be missed by the spiritually-attuned believer. Have you ever heard such a level of insistence that every individual on earth do something as is now being demanded with regard to taking the COVID-19 vaccines? There is nothing like it in my memory, and I’m an old guy to be sure. Governments and corporations are offering money for those who will take the vaccines. My own state government –the government of one of America’s deepest red states—is, I understand, offering to pay some state employees nearly $150 each to take the vaccine. (My tax money, I might add.) People are offered everything from free ice cream and dinners at restaurants to vacations, if they will but receive the jab, as the compliance enforcers demand. More and more businesses and governments are leaning toward developing vaccine passports of sort that will allow freedoms that were formerly…well… free, before COVID-19. The entire continent of Australia seems to want all within its governmental reach to stay totally sequestered for the foreseeable future. SYDNEY – Almost half of Australia’s population has been placed under lockdown as authorities face Covid-19 clusters in multiple cities across the country for the first time since the initial outbreak last year… The measures, including parts of regional Queensland, left more than 40 per cent of Australia’s 25.7 million residents under stay-home orders… In the most populous state of New South Wales, the premier Gladys Berejiklian said further sudden lockdowns would be needed until vaccination rates increase. “Until at least 80 per cent of our adult population is vaccinated, we can’t have a conversation about what COVID normal looks like,” she said…(Almost half of Aussie population under lockdown, by Jonathan Pearlman, Strait Times, June 30, 2021) Alarmists within the controlling medical community are now warning of the Delta variant, which is said to be “much more contagious” than the previous COVID-19 type. This further seems to validate those who have consistently believed that the vaccine was just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. The vaccine pushers will not stop with one or two jabs. They will insist on basically untested and not officially approved inoculations for as far into the future as we can project. Many who look critically at this unprecedented drive to make all on earth compliant with vaccine acceptance believe it is all setting up worldwide embrace of the marks and numbering system of Revelation 13: 16-18.—i.e., it is all a blueprint for control of the populations on earth during the time of Antichrist’s rule. The forces behind the vaccine push are targeting the reluctant to take the jabs with threatening insinuation. In America, this obloquy is becoming more blatant. Equity futures are in the red Wednesday morning as Dr. Anthony Fauci’s warnings about the supposedly “dire threat” posed by the Delta variant continue to be dramatically amplified by the American media… On Wednesday, Bloomberg published the latest in a series of stories effectively re-stating the same facts: the vaccination rate in a handful of deep-red states has substantially lagged the rate in the rest of the country. The lead-in for Wednesday’s story was the fact that the gap between the most- and least-vaccinated states has continued to widen…(“Panic Porn Dressed Up As Science” – Exposing The Truth About The Delta Variant by Tyler Durden, ZeroHedge) Increasingly, those who hold to true science are reporting the overblown panic regarding the variants of COVID-19. On June 18, for example, Public Health England published its 16th report on “SARS-CoV-19 variants of concern and variants under investigation in England”. The report showed that the Delta variant has a 0.1% case fatality rate (CFR) out of 31,132 Delta sequence infections confirmed by investigators. That is, according to those printing the report, the same rate as the flu and is much lower than the CFR for the ancestral strain or any of the other variants. And the ZeroHedge article said the following: the CFR is always higher than the infection fatality rate (IFR), because many of the mildest and asymptomatic infections go undocumented, while the confirmed cases tend to have a bias toward those who are more evidently symptomatic. In other words, Delta is literally the flu with a CFR identical to it. This is exactly what every respiratory pandemic has done through history: morphed into more transmissible and less virulent form that forces the other mutations out since you get that one. Nothing about masks, lockdowns, or experimental shots did this. To the extent this really is more transmissible, it’s going to be less deadly, as is the case with the common cold. The Vatican is weighing in on the demand that all the world be vaccinated. Rapture Ready News for June 3 previews the story in its daily list of most relevant news items. Vatican seeks all-out effort to combat vaccine hesitancy The Vatican’s bioethics academy and the World Medical Association on Friday called for an all-out effort to combat vaccine hesitancy and correct the “myths and disinformation” that are slowing the fight against the coronavirus. They demanded that “all relevant stakeholders exhaust all efforts to…confront vaccine hesitancy by sending a clear message about the safety and necessity of vaccines and counteracting vaccine myths and disinformation.” (Ibid) Control is the operative term in consideration of the drive toward vaccination, the likes of which has never been seen, planet-wide. Whether the vaccines are a justifiable means of controlling the virus or its variants is open to considerable conjecture. Time will perhaps tell if they are what they are claimed by CDC and others to be. –Or whether they are a means of bringing down populations –a claim that, while I don’t wholeheartedly accept, should, in my view, be granted some degree of credence. The stated goal of some globalists is to bring the world’s population down to under 500 million people, as engraved on the so-called Georgia Guidestone. Control is what Antichrist will demand when instituting his 666 marks-and-numbering system. It seems that a considerable percentage of the world’s population is willingly susceptible (compliant) in eagerly taking a shot upon demand by those who want to rule rather than govern in most cases–at least from my perspective. One writer, after citing numerous top experts’ opinions that masks don’t work, says the following, in part: When I see people walking outside, often alone with no one anywhere near them, wearing a mask, my primary reactions are disappointment and sadness. I am disappointed because I expected better from my fellow Americans. I never thought most Americans would be governed by irrational fears and unquestioning obedience to authority. I have come to realize that I had a somewhat romanticized view of my countrymen. Had you told me a year ago that nearly every American in nearly every metropolitan area would cover their faces for over a year because one man, one political party, and the media told them to, I would have responded that you underestimate the strength of the American character… People say they “follow the science.” They rarely do. They follow the scientists the media tell them to follow. (Mask-Wearing Represents Fear and Blind Obedience, Not Science by Dennis Prager, WorldNetDaily) A friend who emails me with news updates from time to time, whose name is, ironically, Mark, wrote the following in summation of his concerns for the vaccine militancy. “What I’m driving at is that it all makes such good sense that it is going to be difficult to refute the common sense of it. And this will be the logic used to get the global population in line. It is all a precursor (I believe) to condition the world (and the United States especially) to taking the mark of the beast however it is administered.” If you know Jesus Christ for salvation, according to Romans 10: 9-10, you will never have to worry about taking Antichrist’s mark. The current vaccinations for COVID, or for any other disease, is not that prophesied mark. It will come on the scene during the Tribulation, after the Rapture of the Church. Whether you choose to take the vaccine or choose to resist taking it, the process, whether beneficial or detrimental in terms of human health, itself is, without question in my mind, part of a control process being implemented by the powers and principalities of Ephesians 6: 12. Needless to say, countless numbers of farmers and ranchers are deeply suffering because of the heat and drought, and it is being projected that this is going to be one of the worst years for wildfires that we have ever experienced. As you will see below, this crisis is being compared to Hurricane Katrina, but Hurricane Katrina only lasted for a few days. The crisis that we are now facing has already stretched on for many months, and there is no end in sight. Let me start by discussing the record-breaking heat. Yet another heat wave is baking the western third of the nation right now, and it is being reported that the high temperature in Death Valley actually reached 130 degrees on Friday… On Friday, the temperature at Death Valley soared to 130 degrees, breaking the previous daily record high of 129 set back in 1913, according to the National Weather Service. This reading comes within 4 degrees of the all-time world record of 134 F set there in 1913. The 134-degree mark happens to be the world record for the highest temperature ever measured on Earth. Unfortunately, things didn’t really cool off during the weekend. The high temperature in Death Valley was 129 degrees on Saturday, and it was expected that the same high temperature would be hit on Sunday… AccuWeather expected the temperature in Death Valley to reach 129 degrees Sunday, which would tie for the daily record high. Death Valley hit the same temperature Saturday. The world record high is 134 degrees. Forecasters called for Las Vegas to hit another all-time high, as it did Saturday with a temperature of 117 degrees. On Saturday, St. George, Utah, also hit 117, setting another tie for an all-time high, according to the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City. There are moments every summer when conditions get really hot, but so far this summer the heat has been absolutely relentless. The extremely high temperatures that we have witnessed this month follow the hottest June that the continent of North America has ever experienced… Researchers have confirmed what millions of Americans and Canadians who just endured scorching temperatures probably already suspected: Last month was the hottest June on record in North America. The Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), an agency supported by the European Union, said that average surface temperatures for June in North America were about one-quarter of a degree Fahrenheit (0.15 of a degree Celsius) higher than the average for June 2012, the previous record-holder. At the same time, there has been very little meaningful precipitation in the western third of the nation this summer, and the latest map from the U.S. Drought Monitor is the worst that I have ever seen. The state of Utah is being hit particularly hard, and one official is openly admitting that this is “the worst drought in the state of Utah’s history”… That official, Dave Ure, speaking just after a tour of waterworks facilities in Summit County, put the situation in stark terms. “We are in the worst drought in the state of Utah’s history right now, and the only thing compared to it is the droughts back in 1895 and 1933,” Ure said. If you don’t live in the western third of the nation, it is going to be difficult for you to grasp how desperate things are becoming. This isn’t just a drought. What we are witnessing right now is a mega-disaster of epic proportions, and scientists are telling us not to expect relief for the foreseeable future. Farmers and ranchers are having a particularly difficult time. They can’t operate successfully without water, and one rancher in Utah told Fox News that this crisis is “going to equal or surpass the amount of people that that were impacted by Hurricane Katrina”… Ron Gibson manages 1,500 head of cattle in Northern Utah but may soon lack the resources to sustain his herd. Scorching temperatures and the absence of rain have created a depletion in feed supply for cattle farmers like Ron. With watering rights in his area cut about 70% in efforts to preserve the water supply, more farmers are forced to outsource their feed, and the high demand has driven up the price four times greater than usual. “When we look at the amount of impact that this kind of disaster is going to have on the country, it’s going to equal or surpass the amount of people that that were impacted by Hurricane Katrina,” he told Fox News. Hurricane Katrina absolutely devastated one major city, but this crisis threatens to cripple one-third of the entire nation. The longer the drought drags on, the lower water levels get, and at this point reservoir levels are getting dangerously low… Reservoir levels are dropping throughout the West, as the drought tightens its grip on the region and intense summer heat further stresses both water supply and the surrounding landscape. Many reservoirs are at or approaching historic low levels due to lackluster rainy seasons combined with increasing temperatures due to climate change. The drought crisis is perhaps most apparent in the Colorado River basin, which saw one of its driest years on record, following two decades of less-than-adequate flows. The nation’s largest reservoir, Lake Mead near Las Vegas, is at its lowest level since the lake filled after the construction of the Hoover dam in the 1930s; it currently sits at 1,069 feet above sea level, or 35% of its total capacity. It supplies water to Arizona, Nevada, California and Mexico. Water restrictions have already been implemented in many areas, but if this drought persists we are eventually going to see water restrictions that are far more draconian than we have ever seen before. Needless to say, a lot of people living in the region won’t like that at all. Of course the hot, dry conditions have also created an ideal environment for wildfires, and right at this moment hundreds of thousands of acres are currently burning… More than 300,000 acres are burning across six states across the western United States on Sunday as the region battled yet another brutal heat wave that shattered records and strained power grids. The largest, the so-called Bootleg Fire, burned across 143,607 acres in Oregon and was 0% contained. Officials in neighboring state California asked all residents to reduce power consumption quickly after the fire knocked out interstate power lines, preventing up to 4,000 megawatts of electricity from flowing into the state. We are being told that this is going to be one of the worst years for wildfires in our history, and it may end up topping the list by the time it is all said and done. This isn’t just a “bad summer” we are talking about. What we are facing is a crisis that is unprecedented in size and scope, and scientists are telling us that it isn’t going to end any time soon. Nearing Midnight: San Francisco’s Retail Apocalypse – Todd Strandberg - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ The city of San Francisco was once one of America’s beautiful urban areas. Many songs have been written about it. Today, San Francisco is a city that is more known for homelessness, crime, and illegal drug use. A new poll by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce shows 8 out of 10 residents in San Francisco consider crime has worsened in recent years. It’s the second year in a row residents are saying crime has increased – with 70% feeling the quality of life in San Francisco has declined. Around 88% of people said homelessness has worsened in recent years, and 80% viewed addressing this homeless crisis as a high priority. The shoplifting rate is so high, many businesses have had to close. Walgreens has shuttered 17 of its stores in the San Francisco area in the past five years, and the company said thefts in the area are four times more likely than anywhere else in the country, as executives budgeted 35 times more for security personnel to guard the chains. People are so bold at theft, they would walk into a Walgreens, fill up a bag with goods, and casually walk out the front door. The clerks don’t do anything to prevent the theft because they can’t. It’s not worth risking your life to stop a crime that will never be prosecuted. Some stores have security, but they are only there for show, and the thieves know it. “It’s going to be lawsuits. Obviously, they don’t want ourselves or anybody else to get injured while we’re out here attempting to make these apprehensions and leave it to law enforcement,” Kevin Greathouse, a security guard at a San Francisco-based Walgreens who carries a handgun, a taser, and pepper spray, told ABC 7 News. “I don’t have any intention of getting stabbed for $60 worth of stuff,” he told ABC 7 News. In San Francisco, thefts under $950 are considered a misdemeanor. Suspected criminals are often issued citations instead of spending time in jail ahead of their court date. In most cases, thieves will have their case thrown out if they skip their court appearances. Only a fool would bother to show up to court. They might as well have a death penalty for stealing where they will only hang people who show up to their own execution. Target stores in San Francisco are now closing early, moving from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a Financial District store closing as early as 5 p.m. on Saturday, according to the hours listed on its website. Target told KPIX5 the decision to adjust its store hours in San Francisco was related to theft, with a spokesperson confirming: “For more than a month, we’ve been experiencing a significant and an alarming rise in theft and security incidents at our San Francisco stores, similar to reports from other retailers in the area.” As the city leaders do nothing, the criminals are only getting bolder. A mob of looters was captured on film ransacking a Neiman Marcus store in San Francisco – smashing display cases, stealing handbags, and running out of the building before the police arrived at around 6 p.m., according to the Washington Examiner. The merchandise-laden suspects were seen running out of the store before jumping into a getaway car that sped off. According to KTVU’s Henry K. Lee, at least 9 people were involved. So many people have stolen shopping carts from this Market St. Safeway, you can only use them inside, and they have long poles so they won’t fit through the doors to roll outside. In San Francisco, a restaurant needs a special permit to serve alcohol outside. A drug dealer can openly sell cocaine on the street right in front of a cop. San Francisco is run by people who are pro-criminals. Kate Chatfield, a senior director in far-left District Attorney Chesa Boudin’s office, downplayed safety concerns by making the matter about racism. When told husbands are scared for their wives and family, she said “the ‘crime surge’ crowd shares the same ideology as The Birth of a Nation,” referring to an early 20th-century white supremacist film. Chatfield locked her Twitter account – making it so only her followers can see her tweets – after her comment about crime fears drew sharp criticism online. A possible outcome of San Francisco’s lawlessness is the rise of someone who will restore order. This happens many times in third-world countries. The person who comes to power is normally a dictator. I don’t think, if one who comes to power over the US, this person will be the Antichrist, but he could set the pattern for the one who comes to save Europe from itself. “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” (Proverbs 29:2). Hate threatens societies -- apathy destroys them. Thus, while a loud and very powerful minority in the United States is on board with the transgender agenda, the vast majority of the population simply can't be bothered to protest. This is largely because these movements don't impact our daily lives -- until, suddenly, they do. It is obvious to anyone with eyeballs and a functioning frontal cortex that the trans movement is making a mockery of us all. But most specifically, it is making a mockery of women. It is women who are being forced to share locker rooms and showers with their penis-packing sisters; it is women getting trounced in sporting events; and, insanely, it is women who are essentially being told that biological men are better at being women than they are. For example, a man identifying as a woman -- Kataluna Enriquez -- was just crowned Miss Nevada, beating out 21 female contestants in the beauty pageant. And how do you think the mainstream media reacted to this new patriarchy-in-drag? NBC called it a "historic win." The Courier Mail called him a "remarkable beauty queen." Entertainment Weekly gushed that "history was made." LGBT groups celebrated wildly at this leap forward for their cultural long-con, and it is easy to say why. I think beauty pageants are generally exploitative soft-core porn shows, but it turns out that even this bastion of female objectification can be colonized by guys -- not as gawkers, but as girls. It's going to get crazier, too. A fellow named Oli London, a British influencer who is obsessed with K-pop star Park Jimin, decided to get a series of grotesque plastic surgeries in order to turn himself into Jimin's doppelganger. Having achieved a disturbing parody of his idol, he has now come out as a non-binary Korean. To be clear, he is a white Englishman. But because he has been told that a male can become female with a bit of nip and tuck, he -- quite understandably -- believes that he can become a Korean of indistinct gender. He released a video laying out his new identity titled "My TRANSition story": "I identify as Korean. That's my culture. That's my home country. That's exactly how I look now. I also identify as Jimin, and that's my career name. I know it's a bit confusing for people--nobody's ever come out as Korean, but this is something that you guys know if you've followed my journey. For the last eight years I've really struggled with identity issues, with who I am...I've finally gone through my racial transition surgery." Needless to say, there has been a lot of backlash -- but his critics don't have much of a leg to stand on. They've spent the last five years or so vigorously trashing anyone who disagrees with the premise that you can choose your own identity and mold yourself into it, and there's no logical reason a man can become a woman but a white guy can't become a Korean. Oli responded by saying as much: "If you can be transsexual you can also be TRANSRACIAL. Why are there such double standards & hypocrisy with people criticizing me for being Korean. It's the same with someone who was born in the wrong body and wants to become a man or a woman. I was actually born in the wrong body!" He goes on to say that he has taken courage from everyone else coming out and identifying as various and sundry members of the alphabet club, and that he would like to use Pride Month to make his announcement, as well. London has had 18 plastic surgeries (and it really, really shows), and he uses all the same language that trans people use, noting that he "feels beautiful for the first time." He says he previously felt trapped in his body. He even announces his pronouns: "they/then, Korean Jimin." He then encourages others who might identify as Korean or Japanese or any other ethnicity to follow his lead and come out. After all, why not? How could anyone possibly object after everything they've been ramming down our throats for the last decade? I thought that London's video would be funny -- a sort of can you believe this isn't the Babylon Bee thing -- but it wasn't. He looks very sickly, and he doesn't look Korean -- he looks like he was brutally assaulted and got a good mauling in the process. If I hadn't read the news coverage and watched his announcement for myself, I'd think he was just having us on -- perhaps even trolling the trans movement. But he isn't. He's deadly serious. Our culture has broken down to the point where a young British man can get 18 plastic surgeries, insist he's a non-binary Korean, and then use the arguments that Western governments have been busily passing into law for the past few years to warn people that they'd better not make fun of him. Watching Oli London's coming out video is like watching a tragedy unfold in real time -- and he, unfortunately, is just a microcosm for legions of confused, hurting, and deluded young people just like himself. Call it what you will—communism, socialism, fascism, democratic socialism, liberal democrat, whatever—these are all different shades of tyranny, cousins of the same family. One need look no further than Cuba and compare what is happening in America to see how far America has journeyed toward communism. The very foundation of American liberty rests in the First Amendment guarantees of freedoms of speech and religion. What we see in Cuba is the targeting of religious leaders because they speak out against the communist regime. Why? Because communism requires replacing God with government. It’s atheist and ruthlessly so. Peaceful protests against the Cuban communist regime have ended in the brutality against protesters, especially religious leaders. The Communist Party of Cuba is an explicitly atheist institution that inhibits all religious worship while deceptively tying communism to Catholicism by promoting late dictator Fidel Castro’s ties to nominally Catholic, but functionally Marxist liberation theologists. The Miami Herald reported on April 23, 2006 that Fidel Castro was responsible for 31,173 executions and prison deaths since he took power in 1959. Some 5,728 were killed by firing squads. He refused medical attention to those trying to escape the island by boat, resulting in another estimated 77,000 deaths. Nearly all the sources indicate an exact number of deaths caused by Castro’s regime is unattainable, with some estimating the death toll over 1.5 million. In America, followers of Christ are not facing firing squads, but we do face the “Squad.” Breitbart reports that as of Monday afternoon, prominent leftists who promote socialism in America and their constituencies who were deceived enough to elect them to Congress were silent on the violence against protesters in Cuba. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) had not posted any social media (which they usually have something to say about anything anti-Christian or anti-Jew). Joe Biden said he stands with the Cuban people, but failed to denounce the violence against them by the regime. Face it: the Democratic Party is sympathetic to communism. Democratic Party leaders use the news media, entertainment, and corporations to do what they know they are Constitutionally prohibited to do—censor freedom of speech, suppress religious expression, force healthcare decisions, promote societal division, and a host of other jack-boot tactics. If you look at Cuba today, can you see the struggle in America tomorrow? People, these leftists attack your freedoms of speech and religion because they are the foundation of freedom. The people of Cuba know it all too well. Once freedom is lost, it is nearly impossible to regain. We are at a tipping point. As in Ephesians 6, put on the full armor of God and pray “that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.” We all need to rise up or they will make the US (us) like Cuba. That’s because Jesus Christ dealt a decisive blow against the devil and his minions when He cried out from the cross of Calvary, “It is finished!” (John 19:30 NKJV). I believe those words reverberated through the corridors of Hell and sent a shiver down the spine of every demon because they realized the stranglehold they had on humanity was broken. During Jesus’s temptation in the wilderness, the Bible tells us that “the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, ‘All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me’” (Matthew 4:8–9 NKJV). But Jesus told him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve’” (verse 10 NKJV). In other words, “No, I am not giving in to that temptation. I’m going to go the cross. I’m going to bear the sin of the world, and I’m going to rise from the dead. And from the cross of Calvary, I’m going to say, ‘It is finished!’ You know what that means, and I know what that means.” The Bible says that at Calvary, Jesus “disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross” (Colossians 2:14–15 NLT).
