Gal. 6:7 Which, in turn, reminded me of this Old Testament verse: but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, until there was no remedy. 2Chr. 36:16 Hmmm….well the Bible also says there is nothing new under the sun! So that may be a foreshadowing of what’s ahead. That which has been is that which will be, and that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun. And as millions witnessed on Monday night football, defensive back Damar Hamlin had a heart attack and collapsed on the field. Medical personnel got his heart working after about 9 minutes as stunned viewers watched in disbelief. He’s reportedly doing better in the hospital. But watching his collapse on TV looked just like hundreds of other va((inated athletes all over the world who collapsed. We’ve linked numerous clips about this in the past. If you somehow missed seeing one of those reels, here’s one: CLICK HERE The controlled media at first tried their best to say Hamlin’s heart attack was due to a hard tackle causing Commotio Cordis, which is the result of blunt force to the chest. That theory was preposterous and quickly fell apart because Commotio Cordis can only be caused by a direct hit by something small like a baseball or hockey puck, and hitting a very specific spot on your chest. Dr. Peter McCullough, a heart specialist, said the video clearly shows it was not caused by Commotio Cordis. But the controlled media rolled out everything they could to show it was not the va((ine that caused Hamlin's heart attack. But the dirty little secret is that since the va((ines were rolled out and demanded to be taken to play sports, 279 US athletes are now confirmed to have died according to an Epoch Health article. I bet you didn’t hear that on the controlled news! Hey, they have proof they quietly warned us. But all the while they were loudly proclaiming that they were “safe and effective.” See how that works? When Jesus said just before Rapture would be JUST LIKE the days of Noah, we can conclude that the world in Noah’s day was blinded by sin and knew not what was about to come upon them. The only people who knew what was coming on the earth were Noah and his family. They knew exactly what was happening. Especially when God told them it was time to load the Ark! “For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth” Gen. 7:4 Let me repeat…God told Noah the flood was coming in seven days so it was time to load the animals! And Noah would have shared this information with his family. I guess this was similar to the 2-minute warning in a pro football game... to make sure you know time's almost up, it’s almost over. As I’ve said before, I would have loved to see a replay of that conversation Noah’s family had at dinner that night!! Imagine preparing for over 100 years and then hearing “Get ready, it’s happening in 7 days!” If I was a son or daughter-in-law I think I would have been high-stepping all week loading the ark! Seven days is certainly enough time to load two of every breathing kind into the ark. Especially since God brought the animals to Noah inside the ark! So they went into the ark to Noah, by twos of all flesh in which was the breath of life. Gen. 7:15 On the 8th day, it happened. Eight is God’s number for new beginnings. There were also eight people on the ark. on the same day all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened. Gen.7:11 So let’s think about this … for Believers, God shutting the door is our equivalent of the Rapture and Noah and his family represent the Church today. Like Noah’s family was safe and secure when God shut the door, Believers will be whisked away, rescued safely, before the coming tribulation. But that begs the question—does that mean that “just like” Noah and his family were warned the tribulation would begin in one week that the Church will be warned 7 days before our exhilarating exit? Hey, “just like” means “just like.” Just saying. I have no idea how the Lord will warn the entire Church we are days away from the Tribulation beginning. But it seems to me that somehow God will convey that to us! I can promise you when I hear God telling us Believers that we’re 7 spine-tingling days away from the Rapture, I’ll wet my pants! I don’t THINK that finding Solomon’s gold in Israel is the trigger. But we do have Compass contacts currently excavating for “ancient artifacts” down near the end of that tunnel from Jerusalem to Jericho. If those Israeli archeologists were to discover Solomon’s gold treasures before the last trump is blown on Rosh Hashanah on September 17, oh boy, time to change the underwear. And don’t forget, Matthew and Luke tell us we’ll have a working economy with food, water, construction, weddings and engagements right up to the Rapture. And Revelation 18 tells us we’ll have electricity and parties right up to the Rapture. The world will be caught with their collective pants down. But not Believers! I guess I’m partly writing it as a personal catharsis, and so I advise you – I’m not feeling warm and fuzzy. I’m not a gambler, but if you asked me to pick up the dice and roll ’em, I’m going to tell you America is done. No single issue prompts me to say that, but rather many of them. America is hurtling down a steep one-way road with no U-Turn on the map. It is experiencing a comprehensive and catastrophic moral collapse. Read Romans 1:18-32. It’s basically today’s news, and it makes one point clear: America is so far gone that it’s already experiencing the wrath of God. It is done. I don’t see any valid “if’s” on this issue anymore. The most qualified questions are those that responsibly weigh the “when’s” and “how’s.” America is now marinated in lies and depravities of the sort that – not long ago – used to cower in the closet and carefully pick their disguises before daring to crack the door. Not anymore. Patently obvious deceptions now proudly parade in the public forums. Intentional fraud is welcomed at every level of our governing structures. Myriad efforts are being expended to ruin anyone or anything that speaks the truth or shows the facts. Many millions of dollars are spent on marketing, policy, and PR campaigns to advance exactly the sort of corruption, evil, injustice, and debauchery that God routinely – and forcefully! – judged in the Scriptures. We live in a time where the agendas of depopulation, immorality, lawlessness, intolerance, and tyranny are celebrated – while efforts to support virtue, common sense, law and order, free speech, and personal responsibility are ridiculed. Children have become a key target in all of this. They are the victims of every vile form of wickedness imaginable, and legislation is even being proposed to legitimize these evils. This nation’s descent is breathtaking to see. We’re rocketing so quickly into a sticky morass of wickedness that you can almost hear the sonic boom. It doesn’t help that so much of our nation’s population is woefully uninformed – – and it helps even less that they choose to stay that way. There is a vast swath of our society that refuses to spend one calorie of energy to study the truth and confront their ignorance. It’s so much easier for them to attack the facts instead. It’s that ‘safety in numbers’ thing that seduces them to float downstream with the dead fish – – to hurl themselves off the cliff with the rest of the ignorant lemmings. But the gravity of this situation is so in-your-face that it’s now impossible to overlook. One must WANT to not see it for what it really is. Honestly, I expect this sort of foolishness from those who have rejected God. Romans 1:28 makes the case that those who have done this end up with minds that don’t work like they’re supposed to. They’re as dumb as a frying pan. There’s a direct connection between their consecutive choices and their constant idiocy. So again – I expect such darkened people to do precisely what they’re not supposed to do. I expect them to reject common sense laws and values that find their source in God’s divinely inspired Word. I expect this from the masses that want nothing to do with a right relationship with Jesus Christ. Their whole motive is to energetically go in the opposite direction instead – no matter the consequences to themselves or to others, or their self-evident displays of ridiculousness. Perhaps that’s why this entire situation gives me another very specific discomfiture. Maybe it’s why I’m saying all these things in the first place – because the bigger picture is even worse. You see, this whole problem extends well beyond that group we typically expect to applaud fraudulent elections, promote fabricated ‘science,’ or support foolish laws. This problem is much bigger than the bunch who cuts off their genitals, wears masks while driving alone, waves rainbow flags, conceals their violence under black hoodies, touts BLM, or sets up filthy communes in public places. Here’s the hard truth. There are plenty in the church who have already made it clear they identify more with the postures of those who show they have rejected God than they do with anyone who diligently seeks to be in a right relationship with Jesus Christ. I’ve heard pastors foolishly claim wearing a mask is a sign of worship. I’ve heard other pastors chide their congregants for wanting secure borders, for supporting responsible conservative values, and for not accepting plainly fraudulent ‘medical science.’ I’ve had conversations with church leaders who vigorously support the ‘Palestinian cause’ and a ‘two-state solution’ over all clear Biblical instructions to the contrary. I’m just scratching the surface of all the ways I’ve seen church leaders lose their moorings. Furthermore, there is no shortage of “Christians” who march for BLM, advocate for LGBTQ lifestyles, embrace gender rebranding, and promote the fallacy of climate change which lies at the heart of globalism. All of this shows glaring faults in the integrity of their faith since this bunch are “Christians” who also pick their way through the Scriptures like they are at a buffet – – ignoring what they don’t like and overindulging in what they most want. That’s the part that gnaws at me and causes me no end of frustration. The truth is there for them to know it, but so many within the church are woefully uninformed – – and they choose to stay that way. There is a large proportion of “Christians” that refuse to spend one calorie of energy to study the full counsel of God’s Word, to humbly yield to its instructions, and to confront their ignorance. It’s so much easier for them to run with the packs that believe as they do and attack the truth instead. The standard pew-warmer today desperately needs a carnivore diet (1 Cor. 3:2), but as Paul lamented, many of them can’t handle it. Just as Paul recognized young believers needed “milk” instead, so I think he would chastise those churchgoers today who have obstinately remained content with a lactose diet. Hebrews 5:12 states we should be striving for “solid food,” but most “Christians” and their leadership would much rather sip their doctrines through a straw. A leading giveaway of such “Christians” is their inability to perceive the present times for what is really happening and for what they really mean. If we take 2 Timothy 4:3 at face value – and I do! – then it’s less of an ‘inability’ than it is a ‘refusal.’ This passage makes it clear such “Christians” will not tolerate hearing the things from God’s Word that they MOST need to hear. They will consciously embrace the “fables” instead that are the values and choices of this world. They do this by “gathering around them teachers to suit their own passions.” That means such “Christians” will openly support pastors, teachers, and other church leaders who show they are not yielded to the full counsel of Scripture, and who evidence by the things they say that they have dangerously “conformed to this world” (Romans 12:2). It also means such “Christians” will isolate and berate any other pastors, teachers, and other church leaders who call their choices into proper Biblical accountability. Churches and “Christians” who behave in this manner are living proof that we are indeed in the last days. The Bible calls these folk “scoffers” in 2 Peter 3:3. This bunch is noted for ridiculing the things of God they want no part of, for denying the truth of Scripture when it confronts their choices, for following their own evil desires over the clear counsel of God’s Word, and for mocking those who wait for, long for, and earnestly study the issues around the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Jude goes one step further in Jude 1:18. He makes it clear that churches and fellowships will greatly suffer under the influence of these kinds of scoffers because they create division and introduce erosion. They may imagine themselves to be church leaders, they may imagine they are giving priority to the things they ought to be giving it to – – but Jude adds, “they do not have the Spirit” in vs. 19. The surge of scoffers in the church today is a clear Biblical sign that we are in the last days. While there are many outside the church that plainly want nothing to do with the truth, there are many inside the church that are the same way. I’ve come full circle to my opening comments. The prognosis for this nation is not good. You may choose to disagree with me on that – – but I urge you to “be as the Bereans” (Acts 17:11) and examine the Scriptures for yourself. This exercise will clarify all current events through the wisdom of God’s Word. Once upon a time, shoplifting was a minor nuisance for most retailers in the United States. But today the game has completely changed. Highly organized gangs of thieves are systematically looting stores all over the country, and this is costing retailers billions upon billions of dollars. Authorities call it “organized retail crime”, but I call it complete and utter lawlessness. When you have large groups of people storming retail stores all over the nation on a regular basis, that is a major crisis. Originally, a lot of these gangs were primarily targeting goods that could be resold on the Internet very easily. But now a lot of grocery stores are being targeted, and food is being stolen on a scale that we have never seen before. In New York City, things have gotten so bad that some stores are thinking of implementing dramatic measures. The following comes from a Fox News article entitled “NYC grocery stores consider locking up food due to rampant theft; workers are ‘traumatized'”… Shampoo, toothpaste, and razor blades are all items that grocery stores have increasingly started locking behind counters. Soon, that list might include food. “People have no fear of coming to your store and stealing,” said Nelson Eusebio of the National Supermarket Association. “Our employees are terrified,” Eusebio continued. “We have young people that come to work, young cashiers who work part-time, these kids are 16-17 years old. They’re traumatized.” When I first started warning that we are becoming a “Mad Max society”, a lot of people thought that I was exaggerating. Sadly, the breakdown of law and order just continues to accelerate in many of our largest cities. In fact, it is being reported that grand larcenies “were up 80% in New York City last year”… New York City Mayor Eric Adams has made a point of combating the repeat offenses. “Criminals believe our criminal justice system is a joke,” Adams said in comments referring to a serial intruder who was arrested and released 26 times. “Those arrested for grand larceny go to court, get released and on their way home from court, they’re doing another grand larceny.” According to the New York Police Department, grand larcenies, thefts of over $1,000, were up 80% in New York City last year. Only an 80 percent increase? Yes, that sounds perfectly “normal” to me. In other areas of the country, shortages are the big news right now. I never imagined that Costco would totally run out of eggs in early 2023, but this has actually happened at many of their stores. So the Federal Reserve can hike rates to the moon, but food prices are still going to remain ridiculously high. However, higher rates will crush many other areas of the economy, and some of the biggest names in the corporate world are now conducting mass layoffs… Goldman Sachs is just the latest firm to reduce its size in recent months. Morgan Stanley announced that it would cut two percent of its staff in December, Amazon plans to cut over 18,000 jobs, and Salesforce announced it would cut ten percent of its workforce and close some offices last week. While white collar workers were less affected by the COVID-19 pandemic lock-downs than their blue collar counterparts, many jobs were simply done remote instead of being cut, professionals are now bearing the brunt of the economic headwinds America faces. When are people going to finally understand that we have a major league crisis on our hands? When Goldman Sachs lays off large numbers of workers, that is a red flag. When Morgan Stanley lays off large numbers of workers, that is a red flag. When Amazon lays off large numbers of workers, that is a red flag. Facebook, Twitter, McDonald’s and Walmart are also laying off workers. As they used to say in the 1980s, it is time to wake up and smell the coffee. At this point things are so grim that the World Bank is warning that the entire global economy could plunge into a recession this year… The global economy is just one more knock away from a second recession in the same decade, something that hasn’t happened in more than 80 years. That’s the latest warning from the World Bank, which on Tuesday sharply lowered its forecast for global economic growth. As economic conditions deteriorate, people are going to become increasingly desperate. And desperate people do desperate things. So if you think that organized retail theft is bad now, just wait until you see what is ahead. The social deterioration that we have been witnessing over the past several years will soon accelerate significantly, and that is really bad news for all of us. Many retail stores on both coasts have already closed due to the epidemic of theft that we are experiencing, and a whole lot more will soon be permanently shut down. We really are in the process of becoming a “Mad Max society”, and we only have ourselves to blame. Revival Is Needed in The Pulpit As Church Leaders Abandon Biblical Worldview – By Decision Magazine - https://harbingersdaily.com/barna-thousands-of-pastors-have-become-leaders-of-a-movement-away-from-god-toward-narcissism/ Parishioners in the United Kingdom were shocked and appalled in November to hear a University of Cambridge student pontificate during his chapel message that Jesus Christ is transgender. Franklin Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse, was quick to rebuke the absurdity of the claim in a Facebook post, calling the sermon "blasphemous." "This is repulsive and shameful," Franklin wrote. "To insinuate that Jesus Christ, the Holy Son of God, is transgender or to sexualize in any way His sacrificial death on the Cross for the sins of mankind is utter heresy." While chapel speakers on secular university campuses have hardly been known for faithfully espousing God's Word, what's more alarming is an increasing unfaithfulness to the Scriptures by pastors of Christian congregations across the United States. A 2022 survey of 1,000 Christian pastors across seven major groupings of denominations revealed that only 37% of clergy have a Biblical worldview. Most surprising was the percentage of pastors in evangelical denominations who don't uphold Biblical beliefs. Meanwhile, pastors of nondenominational and independent Protestant churches scored the highest for upholding Biblical beliefs. "The American Worldview Inventory 2022," conducted by George Barna, director of research with the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University and senior fellow at the Center for Biblical Worldview with the Family Research Council (FRC), analyzed 51 beliefs and behaviors, including salvation through Jesus Christ alone, absolute moral and Biblical truth, human purpose, sanctity of human life as well as other Biblical doctrines. DEFINING A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW Among evangelical pastors surveyed, 30% said they don't believe that their salvation is based exclusively on confessing their sins through repentance and accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior. Similarly, 39% of evangelical pastors reject that there is absolute moral truth and instead contend that each individual must determine their own truth. And only 62% agree that human life is sacred, while 37% said that having a faith matters more than which faith you have. Defining a Biblical worldview as "a way of experiencing, interpreting and responding to reality consistent with Biblical perspectives," Barna said that only about one in three pastors surveyed interpret the world through the lens of Scripture. "Only 37% of all pastors of Christian churches in America today have a Biblical worldview," Barna explained during FRC's Pray, Vote, Stand Summit in September. "That's barely one of every three who buy into God's Word to such an extent that their life is driven by Biblical truth. It's appalling. Think about that for a moment. What does evangelical even mean if the pastor doesn't buy into the Scriptures and teach those things to his people?" Barna said 51% of adults surveyed claim to live according to a Biblical worldview. However, when their beliefs and behaviors are measured by what he calls the "seven cornerstones of a Biblical worldview" only 6% of American adults actually have a Biblical worldview. Barna's seven cornerstones of a Biblical worldview are: - God is the eternal, omniscient, omnipotent and just Creator. - Humans are sinful by nature. - Jesus Christ grants forgiveness of sin and eternal life when sinners repent and profess their faith in Him alone. - The Bible is true, reliable and always relevant. - Absolute moral truth exits. - Success is defined as consistent obedience to God. - Life's purpose is to know, love and serve God with all one's heart, mind, strength and soul. Franklin Graham asserts that an individual with a Biblical worldview looks at the world and sifts all information through the lens of God's Word. "Scripture informs his thinking and behavior, guiding his intellect and moral determinations," he said. "The Bible is the bedrock that undergirds his entire life. Over and against every competing worldview, the Bible forcefully declares, 'Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind' (Romans 12:2). In other words, the only way to see all of life accurately is through the transforming lens of Scripture." SECULARISM IN THE CHURCH Yet the prevailing worldview for 88% of Americans, Barna said, is syncretism, defined as a personalized or customized worldview dictated by an individual's preferences, desires and subjective truth claims. "Worldview is important because you do what you believe," he said. "So, if you believe God's truths, you can act upon those truths." "Because pastors teach what they believe, many churches are becoming centers of syncretism and secular thought," Barna continued. "Perhaps without even realizing it, thousands of pastors have become leaders of a movement away from God, toward narcissism." FRC President Tony Perkins contends that the survey's findings reveal that secular culture is influencing Christians more than Christians are influencing the culture, and the problem lies in the pulpit. "There are many pastors today who are very tentative and hesitant to preach the full counsel of God's Word," he said during the FRC summit. "As a result, we have Christians who are hesitant to live out their faith. We need pastors who understand the Bible and its application to the world in which we live." "People need the truth of the Word of God that has the power of God to change hearts and lives for eternity," Franklin wrote on Facebook. "The Bible warns us to beware, 'there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction'" (2 Peter 2:1). They were mocking the seemingly indecisive Republicans, suggesting that they were leaderless, a reflection on former president Trump, a deep rift in the party, didn’t know how to govern. What we saw play out before our very eyes was, in my opinion, a spiritual struggle. The entire seat of government has been engaged in a spiritual war for many years, perhaps even since the beginning of this wonderful experiment of a Constitutional Republic. It is not only the struggle between good and evil, it also is the classic battle between statism and individual freedom. Democrats always have had a much easier time unifying in one big umbrella of political interests. They are, by definition, an everyone votes, majority rule façade in front of statist ideals of control. When they say free, they mean someone else is going to pay for it. Republicans, by definition, adhere to qualified voters electing representatives to vote by the rule of law. This system requires Constitutional and legal protections so that the majority cannot enslave or control the minority. It’s based on less government and more individual freedom. The problem of the human factor seeps in. Humans seem to like control. They think they know best, like if you eat of the apple you surely won’t die. Some Republicans also think this way. Some conservative Republicans believe to change the way government is headed—to impact the spiritual battle over the principality of the godless statist system—they needed to stand. And no matter how the world viewed what they were doing, they remained strong through 14 ballots to receive guarantees that the not-so-strong Republicans will hold up their end of the bargain and do the right thing. That’s the way politics works. The guarantees received by the conservative Republicans in exchange for supporting House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) included fiscal accountability measures, and several bills, among them to repeal authorization of the army of 87,000 IRS agents; a bill to prohibit taxpayer-funded abortions; a resolution to investigate the weaponization of the Federal government against its citizens; and much more. What seemed to be a sloppy process that was ridiculed by the news media, the Democrats and some Republicans was necessary to force a rollback of some of the nonsense that has taken place in government over the past several years. Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Indeed, Satan is a statist–Government replaces God and the head of government and his minions are satanic sock puppets. Satan has wanted to destroy this country and remove its God-ordained Constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms since the beginning. The righteous man plows the furrows of earth, and sows a harvest here, which shall never be fully reaped until he enters the enjoyments of eternity.” Only believers have a reward waiting for them in eternity. Nonbelievers, on the other hand, ultimately leave a legacy of nothingness. They may do some good works or have some fame, but in the end, it all will be gone. The British missionary C. T. Studd said, “Only one life, ’twill soon be past; only what’s done for Christ will last.” What kind of legacy are you leaving? Do you have the assurance that when you die, you will go to Heaven? You might say, “Well, I’m not good enough.” We don’t go to Heaven because of good works that we do. While good works have value, we won’t go to Heaven because of them. The Bible clearly teaches this. Titus 3:4–5 says, “When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit” (NLT). And Ephesians 2:8–9 tells us, “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it” (NLT). The best and worst of us go to Heaven the same way, which is by admitting we are sinners, turning from our sin, and putting our faith in Jesus Christ alone to save us. So, make sure your life is right with God. It’s a decision that you’ll never regret. Settle it now.
