On May 9, 2023, former Fox News Host Tucker Carlson posted a three-minute video on Twitter, and here is my understanding of what he said:
It is my opinion that America is no longer “One nation under God.” We are becoming a nation of liars, weak and completely irrelevant. The corruption of our mainstream media is just a reflection of the corruption of our nation. Jesus ended His conversation with Nicodemus with these words, “This is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God” (John 3:19-21). Lost people do not like the truth. They do not like the God of the Bible. They hate what the Bible says about world government, abortion, the LGBTQ agenda, Jesus is the only way to heaven, etc. They prefer the darkness. It has impacted many that stand behind a pulpit and many that sit in a pew. God’s judgment will soon come upon our completely irrelevant nation, the world’s completely irrelevant globalist leaders, and all who love darkness. I wish it were not so, but God’s Word must be fulfilled. Here are more events that seem to indicate that God’s judgment will soon come upon the world. One, concerning an economic collapse in the U.S.: consumer prices increased 0.4% (4.8% annually) in March 2023, even though the Federal Reserve keeps increasing interest rates to curb inflation. (More: On Mar. 11, 2023, it was reported that 236 companies have filed for bankruptcy in the first four months of 2023 (the highest number in 13 years.) Two, concerning natural disasters increasing in frequency and intensity at the end of the age: on May 10, 2023, it was reported that these three events occurred on the same day:
Three, concerning perilous times, a borderless world, etc.: on May 6, 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers discovered an improvised explosive device (IED) in a vehicle that was crossing from Mexico into Arizona. The driver was detained, and state and federal officials were notified. America’s current administration does not seem to care if other bombs have crossed the border or how many more could be on the way. Four, concerning Muslim efforts to destroy Israel: starting on May 3, 2023, Muslims fired hundreds of rockets from Gaza into Israel. On May 9, 2023, Israel started striking back with aircraft and bombs. Thousands of Jewish citizens are living in bomb shelters, and thousands more are on alert in their homes. Despite foreign efforts to negotiate a ceasefire, Israeli officials said it is not likely to happen, and it is more likely that the fighting will continue. (Update: On May 12, 2023, it was reported that about 1,000 rockets have now been fired from Gaza into Israel. Israel has responded by attacking 190 targets and killed the top 6 Islamic Jihad leaders—their entire command structure.) (Update: On May 14, 2023, it was reported that 1,469 rockets have been fired from Gaza into Israel that killed 2 Israelis, Israeli bombing had killed at least 33 Muslim attackers and injured about 150 Palestinians, Egypt has negotiated a fragile peace agreement, and Israel said “quiet will be answered with quiet, and if Israel is attacked and threatened, it will do everything it needs to in order to protect itself.”) (Note: According to Bible prophecy, Israel cannot be destroyed. The Muslims have hundreds of thousands of rockets and missiles, but no weapon formed against Israel will prosper. God will not allow the destruction of Israel because His Word must be fulfilled, but He will not allow Israel to have peace until the Jews accept Jesus as their Messiah; another prophecy that must be fulfilled.) Five, the Netherlands is small nation with just under 18 million people. It has 12 provinces, two of which are called North Holland and South Holland. Together they are referred to as Holland, and 70% of that area is owned by small farmers that raise cattle. On May 10, 2023, it was announced that the European Union’s main executive body has given the government of Netherlands permission to force half the farmers in Holland to sell their land to the government because the government wants to take their land out of production and seize their cattle to reduce air pollution. Have you got that? The government is planning to use the climate change scam to take control of about one-third of Holland (half of 70% = 35%), idle the land, and get rid of the cattle. (Opinion: It is easy for me to believe that multitudes will die from famine during the Tribulation Period and multitudes will own nothing, but it is difficult for me to believe that people will be happy in the situation that is developing. I am not saying they will do this, but it would not surprise me if the government bought the farmers’ land and then seized their bank accounts during an economic crisis. Sorry, but I no longer trust many of today’s leaders.) Six, concerning corruption in the White House, DOJ, FBI, CIA, and more: on May 15, 2023, Special Counsel John Durham released a scathing more than 300-page final report on “Russiagate” (the fabricated lie that Trump was colluding with Russia to defeat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election). There is too much to cover, but here is some of what I read: >Pres. Trump was totally exonerated. >The FBI did not follow its own standards; it failed to uphold the law; it had one set of standards for Trump and another set of standards for Hillary. >On the day Durham’s report was released, FBI Director Christopher Wray acknowledged that there are problems with the way the investigation of Trump was handled, and he said action has been taken to ensure that it will not happen again (But he is a known liar, and nothing has been done to Hillary). >With Hillary Clinton’s approval, her campaign started a lie and paid for the creation of a fake document (called the Russian Dossier) to back up a false story about Trump. >CIA Director John Brennan’s handwritten notes show that he briefed Pres. Barack Obama, Vice Pres Joe Biden, Attorney Gen. Loretta Lynch, and FBI Director James Comey on Hillary’s fake story, but they let it go on. >FBI Director Comey had no evidence of any wrongdoing by Trump, he had been briefed on Hillary’s scheme, he had evidence that Trump was innocent, he ignored the evidence of Trump’s innocence, and his people lied to the FISA Court to get permission to investigate Trump. >Many in the major media reported Hillary’s lie as truth, and even after it became obvious that Hillary had lied, they still reported the lie as truth. >CIA Director John Brennan, Pres. Barack Obama, Vice Pres Joe Biden, Attorney Gen. Loretta Lynch, FBI Director James Comey, National Security Advisor Susan Rice, and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper met shortly before Trump’s inauguration to discuss Hillary’s fake story. They knew it was a lie, but they allowed the deception of the American people to continue. As I see it, Durham’s report shows that Trump was not colluding with the Russians against Hillary, but Hillary and many powerful people in Washington were colluding with each other against Trump. On several occasions, Congressman Adam Schiff said he had proof that Trump was guilty, but when it was time to put up or shut up, he could not prove anything. The actions of these people have cost U.S. citizens millions of dollars, done untold damage to our government agencies, helped divide our nation, and nothing will be done about it because many of them are still in power. (Note: I have often said there is no telling what the Deep State will do to keep Trump from being elected again, and the corruption of so many top leaders that are never held accountable is a big reason.) Seven, concerning an economic collapse: America’s national debt and the interest rates are skyrocketing, and they are expected to skyrocket even more as our government refinances old debt that was financed at lower rates. We are now in big trouble, and our problems could grow worse fast. Just one of America’s nuclear-equipped submarines, it is said, has more firepower within its hull than all of the explosives detonated in World War II—including the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Can you imagine what devastation all-out nuclear war could unleash? So, it isn’t a far stretch to believe that Jesus, the greatest of all prophets, could have been talking about nuclear devastation in our present time on this judgment-doomed sphere. While that could still be the case, I was reminded this past week that nuclear war isn’t the only methodology that might bring humanity to the point that all flesh will be in danger of being completely destroyed. The scientific geniuses amongst our numbers are proving more and more to have the same reprobate mindset as the general population of rebels who have turned their backs to God. And even more troubling, many among those of the scientific community are observably “evil men [and women] and seducers” who continue to grow worse and worse. We have witnessed, I believe, an effort by that community to join in the globalist intention to bring the planet into a sustainable configuration—the carbon footprint-controlled New World Order championed by England’s newly coronated king. We remember the one-world-order Georgia Guidestone edifice inscribed with an expression of the desire to bring the earth’s population down to a “sustainable” five hundred million. Its strange destruction and removal—with almost no notice of that removal by the usually avid, pro-sustainable, climate-change champions of international media—hasn’t been addressed by way of explanation since. It seemed that the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccine-mandate hoopla were somehow involved in the that monument’s declaration. The evidence continues to mount that the effort to eliminate human flesh from the population count remains with us to this late hour. Science, which we are told we must trust, doesn’t seem to be on the side of continuation of humanity. Consider the following: Late on January 29, 2023, eminent MIT Professor and respected expert on drug safety analytics, Dr. Retsef Levi, placed a video on his Twitter. In it, he calls for the immediate suspension of all mRNA injections. Here are his words introducing the video: “The evidence is mounting and indisputable that mRNA vaccines cause serious harm including death, especially among young people. Now a potential evil feared to threaten human life itself is developing—and at a pace that terrifies even some of the scientific community who are working on the creation of the AI technologies. In late March, no lesser mortal human beings than Goldman Sachs equity research took a deep dive into the implications of AI for the world (and beyond). The magnum opus led readers through the evolution of AI… Their shocking conclusion: AI will lead one-third of a billion layoffs (at least) in the US and Europe. Think of it as the mobilization of the service sector. The safety risks around AI are huge, and we think there is a more than 50/50 chance AI will wipe out all of humanity by the middle of the century. We wonder if those responsible for the future of AI are intent on making the global elite “become as gods”—as the serpent promised Eve in the Garden of Eden. Perhaps this is what Jesus meant, at least in part, when he said the words quoted above: And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. So we can be assured that it will not be the end of all flesh. Jesus will preempt Satan’s ability to devour the whole human race. We believe that this preemption—the Rapture of His Church—might take place at any moment! The public is largely convinced. A new Reuters poll found that 61% of Americans see AI as a threat to humanity’s future. More significantly, AI researchers tend to agree. These are the people who go to work every day and push forward the technology of artificial intelligence. A recent poll showed that half of them admit that they believe AI has at least a 10% chance of causing the extinction of the human race. Anyone who thinks 10% is a small chance should consider his own life. Would you buy a car if you knew its brakes had a 10% chance of failure? Would you prepare a meal that stood a 10% chance of killing your children or your grandchildren? These people think that AI has a good chance of killing everyone’s children, including their own. Yet they persist in its pursuit. Why? Because they see it as inevitable. The comments I’ve read say things like, “If I don’t do it, someone else will.” Bible prophecy does not say that artificial intelligence causes the extinction of humanity. In fact, the Bible teaches about the eternal nature of humans and the human race. But the doomsday opinions of AI researchers point to the level of momentum AI has already gained. Half the people who work in that field think it has a good chance of destroying us, yet they continue. Most of them seem to think we have already passed the point of no return. AI’s momentum makes it impossible for human regulators to stop it. Recently, some of the world’s best-known scientists and engineers signed a letter calling for a six month pause in the “training” of high-level AI systems. There have been congressional hearings on how to regulate AI — give it “guardrails.” Those things will come to nothing, and here’s why — China. The People’s Republic of China would see a US pause in AI training as an opportunity to get ahead in a race that will fundamentally change humanity. Can you imagine the US military willingly allowing other nations to get that far ahead? And make no mistake, six months amounts to eons of time in the development of this technology. Happily, none of them involve the extinction of the human race. But they do involve a stunning loss of human rights. To ensure compliance, the Antichrist’s government will have to surveil everyone, all the time. There aren’t enough people to police humanity at that level, but AI can keep constant tabs on everyone. AI can monitor the billions of cameras, computers, satellites, cash registers, phones, and everything else connected to it. Future police vehicles will not all be manned. Robotic prowl cars and aerial drones will patrol neighborhoods and business districts. Each will be equipped to look and listen through walls, read every license plate, and use facial recognition on every face. AI will correlate and interpret that massive flow of data. It never sleeps; never takes a break. AI-powered robots can enforce the laws. Critics of regular police accuse them of favoritism and emotion-based prejudices. But if you defund the police, you still have the problem of crime and criminals. AI robots, on the other hand, have no emotions. They treat everyone the same. They don’t require compensation. And they can be as deadly as needed. We’re headed into a new world, and we’re not walking. We’re running — sprinting. Starting thousands of years ago, the Bible described our time. A Reuters/Ipsos poll this week indicates "more than two-thirds of Americans are concerned about the negative effects of AI and 61% believe it could threaten civilization." "There's some chance that it goes wrong and destroys humanity," Tesla CEO Musk told CNBC. "Hopefully, that chance is small, but it's not zero. And so I think we want to take whatever actions we can think of to minimize the probability that AI goes wrong." Even in 1999's fictional film "The Matrix," the entire world became a heap of ruins specifically due to AI, as Laurence Fishburne's character Morpheus tells Neo, played by Keanu Reeves: "What we know for certain is that at some point in the early 21st century, all of mankind was united in celebration. We marveled at our own magnificence as we gave birth to AI." But might there be a biblical connection to AI? The answer is yes, according to a popular author known for illuminating Scriptures. "Ai is actually mentioned in the Bible," says Joe Kovacs, author of the best-selling "Reaching God Speed: Unlocking the Secret Broadcast Revealing the Mystery of Everything." "No, it's not an abbreviation for artificial intelligence. It's a single word spelled A-i, and can be pronounced like each of its letters, as in 'a' and 'i.' "It's the name of an ancient Canaanite city, and it packs an incredible significance for today when we examine Ai on the spirit or metaphor level. "This was a real, historical place, but it carries an additional parable meaning as well, since Jesus only spoke to people in parables, and 'did not say anything to them without using a parable' (Matthew 13:34). He, of course, is still speaking to everyone through every word in the Bible." Kovacs explains the first key to unlocking the mystery is to understand the meaning of the word 'Ai,' which can be translated as 'Ruin' or 'a heap of ruins.' "That's big hint No. 1, the fact that Ai actually means ruin or a heap of ruins, coming from a Hebrew verb meaning to bend, twist, pervert and distort, all leading to ruin," Kovacs explains. "God says He's 'declaring the end from the beginning' (Isaiah 46:10), so right from the start of something, He's broadcasting the end result, its future conclusion." Interestingly, the author notes, the ancient town of Ai happened to be located "beside Bethaven, on the east side of Bethel." (Joshua 7:2) "When we learn the meanings of these places, it provides even more clues," says Kovacs. "Bethel means 'house of God' and Bethaven means 'house of vanity (nothingness)' or 'house of plenty of trouble.' "So Ai, the place of ruin, was closely associated with the house of vanity, nothingness, and plenty of trouble. That sounds a whole lot like our world today. "And being east of the house of God is reminiscent of the first man being driven out of the paradise of Eden (Genesis 3:24) and even the murderer Cain leaving God's presence and moving 'east of Eden.' (Genesis 4:16) "Like Cain, we're all wandering away from God's presence in the land of Nod, which just happens to mean 'wandering.'" According to Scripture, Ai was the next city after Jericho attacked by Joshua, whose name means 'God saves,' the same meaning as Yeshua or Jesus. The initial attack did not fare well when it was discovered there was a secret sinner in the midst of the Israelites, a man who violated God's specific ban on taking any loot from the captured city of Jericho. In other words, a deceptive thief. "That secret sinner was named Achan, whose name means 'troubler' or possibly even 'serpent,'" says Kovacs. "Hopefully this is ringing some bells on the spirit/parable level. Who is the ultimate troubler of people? Which infamous character does the Bible identify as a serpent? It's Satan the devil, of course." (Revelation 12:9) Once Achan was identified and his wicked actions were exposed, he and his children were executed, and the city of Ai was able to be destroyed. "In other words, on the parable level of this actual historical event, once the devil and his evil deeds are identified and exposed, and the evildoers are eliminated, the city of ruin, Ai, lives up to its name and becomes a complete 'heap of ruins.' Scripture goes out of its way to express that: 'So Joshua burned Ai and made it a permanent heap of ruins.'" (Joshua 8:28) After the Israelites attacked Ai a second time, this time successfully, the Bible notes Joshua "hung the body of the king of Ai on a tree until evening." (Joshua 8:29 CSB) "At the metaphor level of God speed, this is a preview of the execution of Jesus who, taking on the sins caused by the ultimate king of ruin (the devil), was famously nailed to wood, redeeming everyone from the ancient curse of death, 'by becoming a curse for us, because it is written, Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.'" (Galatians 3:13 CSB) The apostle Peter also wrote: "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree; so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24 CSB) "So Jesus symbolically took on the role of the king of Ai, the king of ruin," says Kovacs. "Well, who is the ultimate king of ruin? Again, it's another picture of Satan the devil. It's a real-life and symbolic portrayal of how Jesus paid the price for everyone's sins by having the what appeared to be the evil one put to death on a tree. And now with our death penalty paid, we're now offered eternal life 'because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.'" (Romans 8:2 CSB) "Now we know the intriguing meaning of the original Ai, the one that came before artificial intelligence, the one that projects a permanent heap of ruins in every utterance of its name. "God may be using this ancient event as a divine hint, a physical example of what today's AI may bring if artificial intelligence twists, distorts and perverts the truth. "Our own vanity, the nothingness of our God-opposing arrogance, could make today's world a permanent ruin and destroy humanity, just as Elon Musk is warning and most Americans believe. The end has been declared from the beginning." Daily Jot: The Farm Chronicles: Rescue us from the mire - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Paula and I were in the same class in high school. We were, still are, good friends. During the week, we were on the same team—The Southeast Pirates. Whether it was girls basketball (she was one of the best players in the state of Ohio) or boys track or football, we were rooting for each other. But from about mid-April to the end of September, we were fierce competitors on the weekends. We showed horses and it was good friends in the paddock, but game on in the arena. We were both very good at what we did, and very serious in the ring. But that never affected—at least I don’t think it did—our friendship and our parents’ close relationship. As our horse show reputation grew, so did opportunity, not all of them great. Portage County was big on 4-H. In fact, our county fair was bigger than many state fairs because of 4-H. And horse 4-H was the anchor. About the time when Paula and I were seniors, I imagine that there were over 300 horse 4-H projects. This meant that there were many 4-H horse clubs springing up. There were about three elite clubs, which of course, Paula and I belonged to one each. Then there were many smaller clubs whose riders may of only competed at the Fair. The 4-H motto is “To make the best better.” It’s a motto that Paula and I have taken very seriously all of our lives. And many a kid who didn’t have the resources we did, also tried to live by that motto. They were always trying to do better. These clubs would have what they call “mock” horse shows. They were horse shows just among club members to both have fun and to improve their skills. These shows usually were held in a makeshift practice ring at the 4-H advisor’s or a parent’s farm and they would ask an experienced rider or an adult to “judge” them. It was an honor, mostly. Paula and I were excited to judge a mock horse show for a small club just down the road from her parents’ farm. It rained all night before the morning of the show. It continued raining until just before the show was to start. Paula and I walked down to the show ring and our excitement dried up when we saw the ring was mostly under water. We really just wanted to cancel, but the kids and parents insisted we have the show. So out we waded into the water and mud to the middle of the ring. Our good cowboy boots leaked around the seams at first, then were filling with water. Our socks were soggy then sloshing. Every time a horse would pass by, it splashed mud on us. It was mid-April Ohio damp and cold. And we were miserable. We would look at each other and just shake our heads. It was a Psalm 69:14 day, “Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.” Not too far from the truth because when judging horse shows, some love you (the winners) and many hate you (the non-winners). Finally, it was finished. The kids and parents were happy. We sloshed over to Paula’s house, shaking off the shivers, and Paula’s mom made us some soup to warm our bones. We vowed never again—that is, until the next time. And we had a good laugh. It’s as essential to knowing God and growing spiritually as breathing is to living. Prayer isn’t something that we offer to some force out there. Nor is it some type of energy that can heal us in and of itself. Rather, prayer is the means of communication whereby we hear from and speak to God Almighty. That’s why it’s important to understand what prayer is and what it is not. Some would assert, even within the church, that we can speak things into existence through prayer. For instance, teachers of the Faith Movement advocate that you can pray and speak things into existence because they claim you are a little god. They say you can speak and it will happen, but you must speak by faith. And if you don’t, it won’t happen. It is wrong to believe that we can order God around as though He were a celestial butler. It is also wrong to think that we cannot bring a specific request before God because He is merely a force. Prayer is communicating with and hearing from God. True prayer is aligning our wills with the will of God and praying accordingly. We want to keep the lines open to Heaven to both speak to God and hear from Him. Yet many of us are reluctant to pray. We don’t really know how to pray, and we’re embarrassed about praying. However, prayer is something that we all need to be doing. In fact, it’s something the Bible commands us to do. First Thessalonians 5:17 tells us, “Never stop praying” (NLT). Prayer is not an option in the Christian’s life. It’s both a privilege and an adventure. And it’s something that we need to keep learning about for the rest of our lives.
