In Parts 1 and 2, we began looking through Ezekiel 38 and 39 in detail, showing that the internal evidence cannot possibly support any Gog/Magog invasion of Israel before the Rapture. It would turn all prophecy against itself and create such confusion. We will see how that invasion happens just before the Second Coming. My conclusion is that it has to be at or just before the Second Coming, and those reasons I have been exploring. I know there are varying views, but it is important for me that all fits carefully and not with bits poking out. (o). LOOK MOST CAREFULLY AT THESE VERSES – These are critical verses and destroy the position of those who want to continue with the fallacy of the Gog war being this side of the Rapture. If the Gog war happens just after the Rapture, as some think, verse 22 above could not possibly fit. Look at the wording of that verse. Once the Gog war happens, then “the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God FROM THAT DAY ONWARD” would be all through the Tribulation, and that is an utter impossibility. We are speaking of the Restoration of Israel here, and that does not happen before the Second Coming. Therefore, the Gog war happens just before and at the Second Coming. Lock in other verses from Ezekiel, and we know the LORD is with His people in righteousness, having been redeemed. There is NO WAY God will set His glory before the nations in our time. The next thing on God’s calendar is the Rapture, not the unveiling of His Glory! It tells us the nations will see His glory and His judgment on Gog that His hand has executed. The Church age is the silence of God in national declarations. The next verse, 22, is even more striking. The house of Israel will know that Jehovah is their Messiah from that very time of Gog’s destruction, and forever. That is what verse 22 affirms. You can’t twist it. It is an absolute impossibility in this, the Church age. To say so is so wrong. It can only make sense if the Gog war happens right before the Second Coming, and at that Coming, the great war of Armageddon happens. The Gog conflict is part of the Armageddon war along with the forces of Antichrist and the kings of the east. (p). Now we have a summary proof of this great conflict and the outcome of it. There is overwhelming proof again that it can’t be before the Rapture. The LORD explains His position and what happens from Gog’s defeat onwards – Verse 24. God hid His face from Israel because of their rebellion and sinfulness. That will continue through to the Rapture as taught by Romans 11 in the olive tree. That fact cannot be disputed. The Jews will not be grafted back until the Gentile Church shoots are removed in the Rapture. That cannot be disputed from Romans 11. The verses above also refute the idea of a war just after the Rapture. When you look at 24-27 and what is described there, you cannot possibly say this happens at the start of the Tribulation. The fortunes of Israel will not be restored until the Messiah comes to dwell with His people after the Second Coming. In verse 26, “they shall forget their disgrace and all their treachery,” that just will not be any part of the Tribulation. Israel will have a tough time in the Tribulation. Verse 25. Note carefully the “Now,” which is the first word God speaks in verse 25. It connects with the defeat of Gog for the two chapters are progressive. THEN God will restore the fortunes of Jacob/Israel. We know that will happen at the Second Coming when Jesus returns to Olivet and regathers the Jews and restores their fortune and Kingdom, over which He reigns as Messiah. The Kingdom is not going to be set up this side of the Rapture (this side of the Second Coming), so to teach of a Gog invasion of Israel at any time is just so wrong. We need proper exegesis of each Bible verse in this chapter to see that. Verse 26. God will wipe away all disgrace and guilt from Israel. The prophets teach this very clearly, as they do with the restoration of Israel’s fortunes. It says there they will live securely on their land, and no one will make them afraid. This does NOT happen now, and it will NOT happen in the Tribulation. It can only happen in the Millennium. Therefore, the God/Magog war happens immediately before the Second Coming, and then Messiah establishes the nation of Israel securely in its own land. It all happens logically. Verse 27. Israel is restored and brought back from many lands, back to the land of Israel. I have done a series on “The Restoration of Israel” on Rapture Ready, where all the Old Testament passages for restoration were done. It is on this Rapture site. God will be sanctified before restored Israel in the sight of the nations. Israel restored, glorified, and the nations know, and that is at the start of the Millennium, but all this has proceeded from the Gog war. It can only happen just before the Second Coming, and that is where this account fits exactly. The verses just done show clearly the timeframe for the Gog war, and that absolutely excludes the very wrong notion that it has to be/could be in our time, before the Rapture (and soon after the Rapture). Before anyone promotes the wrong notion of a now Gog/Magog war, read all of Ezekiel 38 and 39 carefully, looking at the context. (q). AND IF THERE IS STILL ANY RESERVATION – then study these last two verses – This is what verses 28 and 29 are teaching us. Verse 28. When will Israel know that the LORD is their God? Well, it certainly won’t be before the Rapture or even in the Tribulation. It will be when Messiah returns to the nation. The nation will weep over Him, and they will know Him. That happens just after the Second Coming when the Lord gathers them to their own land (verse 28 above). Just after the Gog destruction, Israel will know the LORD, and His Name will be among His people – Ezekiel 38 and 39 teach that most clearly. Israel does not know the Messiah until He comes in the Second Coming to destroy the Gog forces about to strangle Jerusalem described in Zechariah 12 and 14. Verse 29. No more will the Lord be absent from Israel but dwells as their Messiah-King forever. They shall be with Him and see Him. God will pour out His Spirit on Israel exactly in line with what Joel teaches in detail, where the Spirit is poured out when Israel is redeemed and settled gloriously in its own land. It is impossible that that will happen before the Second Coming, and in NO way before the Rapture. [[Joel 3:1 “For behold, in those days and at that time when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will gather all the nations, and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat [That is Armageddon]. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and they have divided up My land.”]] That is Armageddon, and it is there in that great battle that Gog and Magog will have their role. That is not going to happen twice. The Gog forces will enter Jerusalem as we have here – The next two verses from Joel speak about the Spirit being poured out on Israel, AND THAT IS IN LINE WITH Underneath, Joel clearly states that when the Spirit is poured out, then Israel will never again be put to shame. WHAT? So Israel is perfectly redeemed and shameless and purified all throughout the Tribulation? [which is the case if the Gog conflict is before the Rapture or a bit after]. We know that is not so. This happens just after the Second Coming. Please read through Joel – all of it. [The pouring out of the Spirit here on the redeemed Jews is the same as EZEKIEL 39 VERSE 29] NONE OF THESE GLORIOUS EVENTS CAN HAPPEN before the Lord’s return for the restoration of Israel. The Gog war is linked so closely with the Second Coming, as I have tried to show, so the only logical conclusion is that it must immediately precede the Second Coming. The Gog/Magog War. Those who say it is pre-Rapture are VERY WRONG. It is ludicrous to think such things that are so contrary to the Bible. This is because set ideas are passed along without any examination. I lament the lack of proper teaching and exegetical preaching from the ministers and pastors of churches. I have tried to examine the subject to show it just cannot happen before the Second Coming after the 7 years’ Tribulation. Of course, it is legitimate now to see developments happening as a possible groundwork being laid for the invasion at the time of Armageddon. For example, Russia has established a military base in Syria. Putin has expansionist aims. If you think I am wrong about the timing, then defend your position and show my timing is incorrect. I am not being arrogant at all but seek scriptural truth, and I am open to documented argument. If anyone thinks the Gog war has to be before the Rapture, then prove it from Ezekiel 38 and 39, and refute each of my arguments. I only wish for correct exegesis. The same thing applies to Matthew 24 when I wrote to prove it is not the Rapture in any way. No refutation was given to me. God bless you all. Some feel this conflict is a “weapon of mass distraction” planned by the World Economic Forum and George Soros. They need a constant crisis. They instigated a “plandemic” and now have orchestrated a war, all to destabilize. America and capitalism must be taken down for a new world order to rise. Ukraine’s President Zelensky is a lackey of the World Economic Forum, and in his heart, may have as much loyalty to this globalist outfit and a globalist mentality as he does for his home country. He’s not folk hero he’s being painted as. On March 15, a popular new song was released about Zelensky titled, “Can One Man Save the World?” While we must be careful about trying to name the Antichrist, it is clear that this man is drawing international attention, with aspirations given to him as a global leader. Add to that, he is European, Jewish, and rose from obscurity. It would be safe to say he could be another “type” of the Antichrist as the true Antichrist will have these characteristics. A European and Jewish heritage is debated, but this writer believes the real Antichrist will have those identifying markers. While even the Bible refers to the rise of global government, or a new world order for the very last days, Mr. Putin is not a part of this movement. He wants to see Russia’s glory days come back and considers the efforts of Klaus Schwab and George Soros to be foolish. But someday, even Mr. Putin, or his successor, will bow to the Antichrist. The Biden Administration loves a distraction as well. While cannons were blazing, he extended his national emergency powers, pushed smart health cards and vaccine passports, and continued to devastate the U.S. economy. The sky’s the limit with gasoline and grocery costs. Leftist lunacy never lets a crisis go to waste. But how convenient if the people are focused on other things! A Global Food Crisis? But now that Russia has invaded Ukraine, should the war be extended, that is going to push this rapidly-growing global food crisis to a level that none of us have ever seen before. According to the U.N., worldwide food prices in February 2022 were 20.7 percent higher than they were in February 2021. Some are calling the potential food fall-out “catastrophic.” Russia and Ukraine account for a substantial amount of the world’s grain and fertilizer. Due to a shortage of fertilizer, it is estimated that global crop yields could decline by 50%. Throw in the cost and rise of gasoline, and we have a frightful scenario ahead. The words of Klaus Schwab are haunting. He stated some time ago that, “The Great Reset Needs a War.” The Ukraine crisis could end abruptly with a surrender on the part of Mr. Zelensky. But, there is coming a conflict between China and Taiwan, and Iran and Israel, and North Korea is firing missiles into the air. As this is written, there are 40 wars around the world, although some are labeled as a “conflict.” Crash the System and Form Global Government We are so late in the game that the world’s Godless power brokers and global elite can think of only one thing: Global government. They will use any pawn in their game. They would like nothing better than for America to enter a war like the Ukraine conflict because then it would become a world war! The international concern is that the next tactic will be a cyber- attack on a sovereign nation, even derailing the banking system. Out of those ashes will come a digital ID system. The ultimate goal of the one-worlders is to institute a new digital currency. That would give them ALL control. In mid-March, Mr. Biden signed an executive order allowing for a U.S. central bank digital currency. This should shock and concern every American citizen. It Ends Well for Believers but Not for the World! All of this is a set-up for the Rapture of the Church, as the Church escapes the horrors of the Tribulation and its global government. It won’t end well for the globalists, eventually. It will end gloriously well for believers. The Church is restraining much present-day evil. That means that you and I are on a rescue mission presently. We are called to win the lost while there is time, and to occupy until He comes! The corporate leaders estimated that as much as 3 million barrels of oil and its products a day could be lost from Russia as a result of sanctions, in line with previous estimates, and warned that global markets face a squeeze on diesel with Europe most at risk of a "systemic" shortage that could lead to fuel rationing. "The thing that everybody's concerned about will be diesel supplies. Europe imports about half of its diesel from Russia and about half of its diesel from the Middle East," said Russell Hardy, chief of Switzerland-based oil trader Vitol. "That systemic shortfall of diesel is there." Those imports mean that Russian supplies account for about 15% of Europe's diesel consumption, according to the FT which carried their comments. Hardy said the shift to more diesel consumption over gasoline in Europe had helped to create shortages of the fuel. He added that refineries could boost their diesel output in response to higher prices at the expense of other oil-derived products to shore up supply, but warned that rationing was a possibility. Torbjorn Tornqvist, co-founder and chair of Geneva-headquartered Gunvor Group, added: "Diesel is not just a European problem; this is a global problem. It really is." Tornqvist also warned that European gas markets were no longer functioning properly as traders faced huge demands from banks for cash to cover hedging positions. "I think it's broken. It really is," he said. "I never thought that somebody could say 'ah, gas has fallen below 100 per megawatt hours is really cheap'." Gas futures linked to TTF, Europe's wholesale gas price have swung from about €70 a megawatt hour before Russia's invasion of Ukraine to about €230 two weeks ago and then slid below €100 this week. Before May 2021, European gas prices were below €20 a megawatt hour. As noted last week, Europe's largest energy traders called on governments and central banks to provide emergency liquidity support to keep gas and power markets functioning as sharp price moves triggered by the Ukraine crisis have strained commodity markets. Hardy said that to move a cargo equivalent to 1 megawatt hour of liquefied natural gas priced at €97, traders must provide €80 in cash, straining their capital requirements. Worse, confirming that Europe faces an even colder winter, Tornqvist said European utilities would struggle to fill gas storage for next winter given the "paralyzed" state of the spot market for gas unless policymakers stepped in to provide guarantees to protect buyers against price swings. But going back to diesel, Bloomberg's Javier Blas tweeted a handful of the scariest quotes from the energy CEOs at today's FT commodities summit: Trafigura CEO Jeremy Weir: "The diesel market is extremely tight. It's going to get tighter and will probably lead into stock outs," referring to when fuel stations run dry. Gunvor CEO: "Europe is so short of diesel." Vitol CEO: "The thing that everybody's concerned about will be diesel supplies." Needless to say, without diesel, not only will traffic in Europe grind to a halt, but much if not all US truck-based logistical support and supply chains will soon be paralyzed. The consequences for the global economy will be dire. It truly was “unprecedented”, and many experts expected the murder rate to start falling back down in 2021. But that didn’t happen. Instead, the murder rate went even higher. So what is happening in 2022? Well, many cities are reporting that murder rates are even higher than they were in 2021. For example, Portland has seen a 10 percent increase in the murder rate compared to last year’s record number… Portland is already on track to surpass last year’s record-breaking homicide rate with murders up 10 percent as the progressive policies of America’s most woke city struggle to curtail violent crime. Some are calling that a crime wave, but that isn’t a crime wave. What New York City is currently experiencing is a crime wave… Major crimes in New York City spiked nearly 60% in February compared to the same month in 2021 — a large majority occurring in a small swath of the metropolis — as Mayor Eric Adams rolled out his plan to combat gun violence and crime in the city. The New York Police Department tracked increases across every major crime category. The city recorded a 41% increase in overall major crime through the first months of 2022 compared to the same period last year, including a nearly 54% increase in robberies, a 56% increase in grand larceny incidents and a 22% increase in rape reports, the data shows. We were promised that crime would start going down in the Big Apple, but instead it is soaring to frightening heights. At this point, it simply is not safe to walk around by yourself at night in many parts of the city. Predators are everywhere, and they are actively searching for victims. On Friday night, one of those predators actually put on “a pair of blue latex gloves” before attempting to rape a woman in Harlem… This is the chilling moment a would-be NYC rapist pulled on a pair of blue latex gloves before trying to rape a woman on a Harlem street while stomping on her head, leaving her seriously-ill. The suspect approached the 43-year-old woman from behind around 11.30pm Friday on West 123rd Street in Manhattan’s Harlem neighborhood and knocked her to the ground, according to the NYPD. Obviously this was a crime that was planned well in advance. He went out and purchased latex gloves because he knew that he wanted to do this, and he put them on before he went hunting for a woman to target. But this incident barely made a blip in the news because this sort of thing happens all the time in New York City now. In this sort of a lawless environment, even an ultra-violent motorcycle gang like the Pagans can freely ride through the city and recruit new members… A former undercover cop has warned that a biker gang notorious for extreme violence is operating in crime-stricken New York City once again. The Pagan’s Motorcycle Club rode through the NYC streets on Saturday in an apparent attempt to recruit new members, former Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agent Ken Croke told the New York Post. Sadly, it isn’t just our own domestic gangs that we need to worry about. It is being reported that heavily organized gangs of “crime tourists” from South America are specifically targeting states where it is easy to skip bail… Gangs of South American ‘crime tourists’ are being blamed for at least two home burglaries in California this week – as well as similar raids across the country in recent months, including sprees in Indiana, Texas, New York, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. The criminals target wealthy neighborhoods in places with lax criminal justice laws to conduct their home burglaries, before returning home with the loot while out on bail, according to police. If these “crime tourists” get caught, they simply post bail and then leave the country. What a racket. These criminals are able to gain entry to the U.S. through a special visa waiver program that was instituted during the Obama administration. According to the FBI, since 2014 criminals have used this visa waiver program to get away with “hundreds of millions of dollars in stolen goods”… The Electronic System for Travel Authorization allows citizens from 40 nations to be prescreened to travel to the U.S. for tourism or business for up to 90 days without obtaining a visa, a process that lets travelers undergo less scrutiny to enter the country After entering the country, they reportedly carry out strings of break-ins and other crimes, bringing home up to hundreds of millions of dollars in stolen goods, the FBI estimates. Thank you Obama. I never imagined that people would travel to the U.S. just to commit crimes, but it is happening. And as violent crime rates escalate all over the country, demand for “panic rooms” has soared to unprecedented levels. On the west coast, one executive says that the number of inquiries that his firm has received “has increased more than 1,000 percent over the past three months”… “Our influx of inquiries has increased more than 1,000 percent over the past three months,” says Dean Cryer, vp international operations at Building Consensus/Panic Room Builders, a firm specializing in the building of safe rooms. “It’s gone insane.” Because of the perceived increase in crime in metropolitan areas and high-profile murders and robberies in high-net-worth neighborhoods like Beverly Hills, “hidden rooms are definitely trending right now,” says Cryer. The way that our country is heading, it would be great if everyone could have a “panic room”. But of course the vast majority of Americans cannot afford such a thing. Unfortunately, I believe that this is just the beginning. We are in the third year of this “crime wave”, and I am entirely convinced that the violence on our streets is going to get a whole lot worse. For decades, our leaders have been making incredibly bad decisions and have been taking this nation in the wrong direction. Now we are reaping what we have sown. So yes, we should be grieving for what is happening on the other side of the globe, but we also need to do something about the rising violence in our own streets. Daily Jot: Stupidocrisy: Vice signaling - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com There is a big “thing” among the “woke” left crowd called “virtue signaling.” Virtue signaling, as defined by the Cambridge Dictionary is “the popular modern habit of indicating that one has virtue merely by expressing disgust or favor for certain political ideas or cultural happenings.” Examples may be when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tells everyone to mask up to prevent COVID, but doesn’t wear a mask herself, essentially saying she is supporting a socially popular directive to make everybody think she is virtuous, but in reality, she doesn’t care. In other words, virtue signaling is a modern way of saying “hypocrite.” Joe Biden, in his speech to the Business Roundtable, used Russia as an example to expose his own playbook. Biden, speaking to this prestigious gathering of America’s top CEOs, talked about how Russia’s Vladimir Putin uses red flag events to signal what he himself is going to do. Biden said, “He’s run a lot of false-flag operations. Whenever he starts talking about something he thinks NATO, Ukraine, or the United States is about to do, it means he’s getting ready to do it. Not a joke…And so, his back is against the wall. And he’s–now he’s talking about new false flags he’s setting up, including he’s asserting that, we, in America, have biological as well as chemical weapons in Europe–simply not true. I guarantee you. They’re also suggesting that Ukraine has biological and chemical weapons in Ukraine. That’s a clear sign he is considering using both of those.” This is the playbook, the “vice signaling,” if you will, of evil. Biden and the Democratic Party do it all the time. Think about it. They call out President Trump for having underhanded relations with Russia when Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and a host of their cronies are raking in tens of millions of dollars from “pay to play” deals in Russia. They impeach Trump for leveraging money for Ukraine’s defense for Zelensky providing information on Biden’s criminal son, but Biden himself is on video bragging that he threatened to withhold defense funds from Ukraine if the investigation of his son was not stopped. They say conservatives conducted an insurrection against the US government when they have been conducting their own insurrection. They accuse Republicans of suppressing the vote to steal elections, when they are violating voting laws. The list goes on and on. Instead of virtue signaling. It’s vice signaling. Accusing someone of doing exactly what you are doing. They are chief among the virtue signalers, too. Romans 2:3 says, “And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?” And if people were discerning, they would be able to detect and exposed these actions that are commonplace among politicians of both parties, world leaders, and especially the corporate news media that is vice signaling in most every newscast 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As seekers of truth, we need to hold accountability and whenever we see it, point out this…say it with me…stupidocrisy. I have no doubt that social media feeds this frenzy. People spend too much time looking at their phones and tablets and following their favorite websites, which further inflames them. We know that people are uptight. We know that people lose their tempers. But if you’re a Christian, then you should be different. Christians should not get caught up in the anger that so many people are expressing today. In fact, the Bible says that the person who loses his temper is a fool (see Proverbs 29:11). It also tells us that as followers of Christ, we are to love others and make every effort to be at peace with them. Jesus said, “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples” (John 13:35 NKJV). As believers, we need to show love and forgiveness. And if we don’t, we will grieve the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God. Therefore, it’s possible for us to lie to the Holy Spirit, resist the Holy Spirit, insult the Holy Spirit, and yes, even grieve the Holy Spirit. The apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus, “And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. . . . Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior” (Ephesians 4:30–31 NLT). When Christians love one another, it’s a powerful witness to a lost world. On the other hand, when Christians fight with one another, it’s a poor witness to a lost world. If you’re truly a godly person, then you will be humble and loving—not someone who’s filled with anger and rage. FROM THE HEART Let Us Make the Short Time We have Left, Count for ALL of Eternity!
