How close is the Rapture based on the Prophesied Signs?
 
Those who attempt to estimate the start of the Tribulation, and thus the timing for the Rapture, based on the signs prophesied in Scripture alone are finding it difficult to do. Nearly all the prophesied signs pointing to the Lord’s return, starting with Israel’s 1948 rebirth as a nation appeared by the middle of the last decade. Today, the signs have essentially converged and, from this point forward, they will increase in frequency and intensity until the signing of the peace treaty between Israel and the Antichrist that begins the Tribulation. The world could remain in this pre-tribulation state for an extended period of time, maybe for a decade or more.
 
 Unfortunately, the warnings about the nearness of the Rapture emanating from pulpits and prophecy experts tend, with the passage of time, to de-sensitize those looking forward to the return of our Blessed Hope making them less alert, less watchful and ultimately less prepared when the Rapture does happen. Paul makes it clear in his letter to the Thessalonians that now is not the time to let our guard down as Christ’s return draws near, “…But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us be not like others, who are asleep but let us be alert and self controlled” (1 Thessalonians 4-6). If this is true, and it is, what more we can know about the timing of God’s end time plan? What we can know comes from an end time chronology revealed in Scripture.
 
The way to know and understand a precise window of time (not the day or the hour) for the Rapture is to understand and believe what the Bible tells us about the timing for Christ’s Second Coming. Nowhere in Scripture are we told that we cannot know or understand the timing for the Second Coming. Those who anticipate being raptured haven’t been overly concerned about the timing for the Second Coming because we expect to be with the Lord when he returns at the Second Coming.   But, God used the prophet Hosea in the Old Testament to reveal His chronology for the Second Coming long before the First Advent of Christ. Specifically, God revealed a date before which the Second Coming cannot happen. Importantly, Hosea’s prophesied ‘not before’ date requires an accurate chronology and timeline for Christ’s First Advent – a timeline that has not been universally settled after nearly 2,000 years.
 
An Accurate Timeline for Christ’s First Advent
 
 In the Advent Chronologies paper on the link below, a strong case is made for an accurate First Advent timeline based on Daniel’s Seventy week Prophecy and the June 17, 2 BC appearance of the Christmas Star. It yields a date that makes it possible to accurately interpret Hosea’s prophecy and determine a specific window of time for Christ’s Second Coming.

The paper confirms that the Passion Week of Jesus Christ was not in 32 AD as is commonly assumed, but rather, it was in 33 AD as follows:  Palm Sunday – 29 March 33 AD, Resurrection Sunday – 5 April 33 AD and Christ’s Ascension to Heaven – 15 May 33 AD. With a specific date for Christ’s ascension to Heaven to conclude His First Advent, it becomes possible to determine a Second Coming timeline from Hosea’s prophecy.
 
A Timeline based on Hosea’s Second Coming Prophecy
 
Hosea prophesied to the Northern Kingdom of Israel during the reign of Jeroboam II between 793-753 BC. His prophecy centers largely on the divinely inspired parallel between Hosea’s love for his unfaithful wife Gomer and Jehovah’s love for unfaithful Israel. Chapter three parallels Hosea’s reconciliation with his wife to the Lord’s reconciliation with the nation Israel in the last days, “For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred stones, without ephod or idol. Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king.” They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days“(Hosea 3:4-5). This passage prophesies that Israel will return to the land and will seek the Lord and His blessings in the last days (also described in Zechariah 13:8-9).
 
Through Hosea, God tells of his judgment against Israel as follows: “For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, like a great lion to Judah. I will tear them to pieces and go away; I will carry them off, with no one to rescue them. Then I will go back to my place until they admit their guilt. And they will seek my face; in their misery they will earnestly seek me” (Hosea 5:14-15). Here the Lord clearly reveals that He will destroy and disburse the Jews for their unfaithfulness, then return to His place until they recognize Christ as their Messiah and turn back to Him.  The Messiah left his place in heaven when He was conceived in the virgin, Mary in September 3 BC (nine months before his birth). This is when the Lord became incarnate. He returned or went back to his place (Heaven) at His ascension on May 15, 33 AD per the First Advent chronology described in the paper. He will remain there, seated at the right hand of God, until Israel recognizes Christ as its Messiah, repents, and turns to Him at the end of the Tribulation. 
 
Hosea then describes Israel’s ‘last days’ reconciliation with the Lord. “Come, let us return to the Lord, He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days, he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us; that we may live in his presence” (Hosea 6:1-2). This passage holds the key to understanding God’s timeline based on a day equating to one thousand years (Psalm 90:4, 2 Peter 3:8). Hosea 5:15 reveals that the Lord will go back to his place and remain there for at least two days or two thousand years. It will be after two days, on the third day (at the beginning of the next thousand year period) when the Lord will restore and lift up the remnant of Israel at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom period. The passage makes clear that 2,000 years must pass between the time of Christ’s ascension to heaven on May 15, 33 AD, and His return at the Second Coming.  Therefore, the Second Coming cannot happen before May 15, 2033. Otherwise, God would not be true to His Word.
 
The paper further defines a specific window of time for the Second Coming (2033-2038) based on Jesus’ predictions about the season of the Lord’s return in Matthew 24:32 and the generation that will not pass away until all things be fulfilled in Matthew 24:34.  But, based on God’s promise through Hosea to not send His Son back until after two days or 2,000 years (2033), there is no reason to assume He is slack in fulfilling His promise once the prophetic date is reached. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness…”(2 Peter 3:9). If we assume, based on Scripture, that Christ’s return cannot happen before May 15, 2033, is it possible to determine a likely date for His return?  Like many in the world of Bible prophecy, I believe the major end time events including the Rapture and the Second Coming will take place during the Jewish Fall feasts (the Rapture most likely during the Feast of Trumpets and the Second Coming on the Day of Atonement). The first Day of Atonement on the Hebrew calendar after May 15, 2033 is October 3, 2033.
 
Based on what we now see in the signs prophesied by Jesus and God’s revelations in Scripture that Christ cannot return before 2033 and - that the Lord is not slack in keeping His promise, I believe a realistic, Scripture-based date for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to be on or about October 3, 2033. With this date in mind, and with the knowledge we have from Scripture about the timing for the Tribulation, it is possible to determine a potential start date for the Tribulation. The Tribulation ends at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The Tribulation is divided into two periods of 3 ½ years, forty two 30 day months or 1260 days (Revelation 11: 2, 3 and 6). Using the two 1260 day periods for the calculation, the length of the Tribulation is exactly 2,520 days in length or about six years and eleven months on our calendar, according to Scripture.  So, if the Second Coming were to happen in October 2033, then the start of the Tribulation would be sometime in November 2026.
 
Because a pre-Tribulation Rapture must happen before the Tribulation begins, it becomes possible to determine a specific window of time for the Rapture. It’s between now and November 2026. Even though the Rapture has been an imminent event since it was first described by Paul, the chronology revealed in Hosea’s Second Coming prophecy makes clear that it will most likely happen sometime in the next five or six years because the Lord is not slack in keeping His promise. 
 
If the timing described above is true, and I believe it’s more accurate than many are willing to admit, a great concern should be how woefully unprepared the world is for what’s coming. In the two part, A World Woefully Unprepared… paper on the link below, estimates of the number who will be Raptured made by some prophecy experts, who believe that one billion (14% of the world population) or more souls will be raptured, are compared with what the Bible reveals about how God saves souls in the flesh and the spirit in both the Old and New Testaments. When order really starts breaking down in this country, we know exactly what is going to happen. And the reason why we know exactly what is going to happen is because the exact same pattern keeps playing out every time there is a major disaster or crisis in one of our large cities. Just think about it. Over the past couple of years, violent social justice protests in our major cities have often been accompanied by widespread looting. When the Texas power grid went down last winter, there was looting. When wildfires force people from their expensive homes in California, the looters are often the first people that show up. And just about every time there is some sort of a major storm, the looters come out of the woodwork.
 
And so it should not surprise anyone that New Orleans is being plagued by looters in the wake of Hurricane Ida.
 
One pair of enterprising looters decided to try to break into an ATM machine, but thanks to a drone they now have become famous all over the country…
 
It is not clear if the pair from the drone video were apprehended or got away with any cash from the ATM machine they are seen in the footage trying to pry open.
 
One of the men in the video is seen toying with the machine. Another stands beside him and sees the drone before turning his back and leaving the destroyed business.
 
The video, which was posted to Twitter by WXChasing (Brandon Clement), has yielded 19,100 views and is captioned, ‘The moment looters realize a drone is watching them try to break into an ATM [machine] in burned down St. Claude market in the lower 9th ward.’
 
In other cases, looters were taking a more conventional approach….
 
In another incident, witnesses used their cell phone to record several people looting a store in New Orleans East.
 
Looters often take advantage of disasters like Ida and New Orleans is all too familiar with this as it became a hotbed of criminal activity in the wake of Hurricane Katrina 16 years ago.
 
How many times have we seen this sort of chaos break out over the past few years?
 
It is more than I can count, that is for sure.
 
On Tuesday afternoon, authorities in New Orleans pledged to do their best to try “to deter mass looting”…
 
New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell and Police Superintendent Shaun Ferguson held a press conference Tuesday afternoon at City Hall regarding a citywide curfew to deter mass looting and an update on the power situation.
 
Cantrell told reporters, effective immediately (8 pm local time), a citywide curfew will be enforced until 6 am Wednesday. New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) has deployed an anti-looting task force with National Guard members to protect business districts.
 
Sadly, virtually every major city in America is just one major crisis away from a total breakdown of law and order.
 
And when a truly nightmarish national emergency strikes, law and order will break down all over the country.
 
Our blood-soaked culture has become increasingly violent as moral standards have deteriorated across our land, and in many of our core urban areas brutal cold-blooded attacks by groups of heartless criminals have become way too common.
 
A particularly vile attack that happened in Chicago the other day is a perfect example of what I am talking about…
 
The video, first posted by the crime website CWB Chicago, initially shows three men beating up another man as traffic crawls past. Another man walks by and is sucker-punched and falls to the pavement.
 
The group keeps attacking the other man until both are down on the pavement. The attackers then rummage through their pockets, walking with a bag, shoes and other items, the video shows.
 
Women dance in the street while people appear to record the fight.
 
More specifically, the women were “twerking” as they celebrated the robbing of the innocent victims.
 
If hearts are this cold already, what will things be like when economic conditions get really bad in this country?
 
Yes, there are still millions of Americans out there that try to respect the law, but there are also lots and lots of really twisted people out there.
 
Just today, I came across a news story about how “hundreds of decapitated goats” have been getting dumped into the Chattahoochee River…
 
Channel 2 Action News is investigating headless goats found floating in the Chattahoochee River. Someone has dumped hundreds of decapitated goats over the past few years.
 
Channel 2′s Dave Huddleston cruised up the Chattahoochee River with Jason Ulseth, who works for the environmental group the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper.
 
More than one person has got to be involved in this terrible crime, because on one recent Friday a total of 30 decapitated goats were found in the river…
 
As they approached the Interstate 20 bridge near the Fulton County and Cobb County border, “There’s a goat,” Ulselth said.
 
Channel 2 found a headless goat in the river, then another and another.
 
“Lately it’s become a lot more frequent, and on Friday we were out here and saw 30 of them floating down the river,” Ulseth said.
 
Why aren’t CNN and the other big networks covering this story?
 
You would think that something like this would be good for ratings.
 
Of course the truth is that it doesn’t fit any of the agendas that they are currently trying to push.
 
But without a doubt we will hear more about the Delta variant from the major news networks tomorrow, and apparently all of that fear is starting to cause another major run on toilet paper…
 
Please don’t run straight to the supermarket, but some shoppers are buying up all the toilet paper – again.
 
Why is toilet paper always such a high priority when Americans decide that it is time to do some more panic shopping?
 
I will never understand that.
 
In any event, it is being reported that the fear of new lockdowns is causing many to start hoarding toilet paper “in bulk”…
 
This latest rebound in toilet paper demand comes as the delta variant drives COVID-19 cases and deaths up across the U.S., with some folks foreseeing another lockdown. Many Americans have used up their stockpiles and some have begun buying again in bulk, The Wall Street Journal reports.
 
If Americans are going to get this crazy over a relatively minor threat like the Delta variant, what in the world are they going to do when truly apocalyptic events begin to take place?
 
COVID is not the worst thing that can happen to us.
 
Not even close.
 
If our society can’t even handle COVID, what kind of meltdown would transpire if a much bigger crisis suddenly erupted?
 
You might want to think about that, because many believe that it won’t be too long before we actually find out.

At a time when nearly two-thirds of all Christians believe that the Church has replaced Israel in God’s program, it is very important to define who is Israel and what makes the Church or Body of Messiah. Are they the same? Does one eventually replace or supersedes the other? Are they the same but during two different eras of humankind? Last time, we looked at the first five differences. Let’s look at five more:
 
6 Israel will be judged on earth

10 God directly ratified several covenants with Israel
 
Jeremiah 31:31-32 Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, 32 not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.
 
10 The Church partially benefits from the covenants
 
Romans 11:11 - I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous… 17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree.
 
Additionally, there is a verse that I like to point people to that speaks of three distinct groups of people.
 
1 Corinthians 10:32 Give no offense either to Jews or to Greeks or to the Church of God;
 
If the Church replaced Israel, why does Paul speak of the Church of God AND the Jews in that verse? In reality, the Church comprises two groups Jews and Gentiles (nations.) There are unbelieving Jews part of Israel and believing Jews part of Israel and the Church. It is the same for the Gentiles. There are unbelieving Gentiles (from all nations) and believing Gentiles from all nations, part of the Church. It doesn’t need to be complicated.
 
There is another important distinction that must be made regarding the appearance of Yeshua both at the time of the Rapture and at the time of the Second Coming which two completely different events separated by at least seven years.
 
ISRAEL INITIATES THE SECOND COMING OF THE MESSIAH
 
Matthew 23:39 For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
 
 Zechariah 12:10 “I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.
 
THE CHURCH RETURNS AT THE SECOND COMING OF MESSIAH
 
Revelation 17:14 These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.”
 
So, from these differences found in the Scriptures, we can deduce with certainty that:
 

• ISRAEL IS NOT THE SAME AS CHURCH
• THE CHURCH HAS NOT REPLACED ISRAEL
• ISRAEL WILL USHER IN THE SECOND COMING
• ALL ETHNIC ISRAEL WILL BECOME BELIEVING ISRAEL
• SOME OF ETHNIC ISRAEL CAN INCORPORATE INTO THE
• CHURCH
• ISRAEL AND THE CHURCH ARE BOTH IN GOD’S PROGRAM.

 
KEEPING ISRAEL AND THE CHURCH SEPARATE IS CRITICAL BECAUSE IT IS BIBLICAL AND HAS MAJOR PROPHETIC IMPLICATIONS.

It’s been rather amusing to watch the liberal media do everything they can to defend the president against the fallout from the Afghanistan fiasco. When he made incoherent remarks in various speeches, they pretended that nothing was mistaken. You can’t easily hide the fact that a President allowed an Arab country to become controlled by a terrorist organization.
 
It would all be hysterical to me if I were a citizen of another nation. Biden is our president, and the mistake he makes has a direct impact on all of us.
 
I looked at CNN for the first time in years, and I noticed the contrast between Biden and our previous president. If Afghanistan had taken place under Trump, CNN would be calling for his third impeachment. Biden’s misstep is seen as a minor problem by CNN, “Biden’s seen a (slight) decline in his approval ratings.” And also, “None of these polls or the average show a massive decline in Biden’s approval rating. Together, though, they seem to be telling a story that Biden’s approval rating has leaked a little bit.”
 
I’m sure you all know that this crisis is all Trump’s fault. CNN went to the “Trump is to blame” well four times in the same article:
 
Here is #1, “After four years of Donald Trump’s incompetence in, well, everything, the Biden argument was that the country badly needed a steady hand on the tiller — someone who had been there and done that. Someone who didn’t need training to do the job. Someone who was exactly the opposite of the guy currently in office.”
 
Here is #2, “And it worked. Rather than see Biden’s age — he’s 78 — as a negative, plenty of voters believed his decades of experience were what the country needed in the post-Trump era. Knowing how the federal bureaucracy worked mattered. So did having good relationships with world leaders. And having seen everything there was to see on both the domestic and foreign policy fronts.”
 
Here is #3, “While Alejandro Mayorkas, the head of the Department of Homeland Security, blamed at least part of the crisis on the Trump administration, which, he said “dismantled our asylum system,” there’s also no question that the Biden administration is nowhere near where it wants or needs to be when it comes to its handling of the border crisis.”
 
Here is #4, “Biden’s promise to the American people was that his years in public life had best prepared him to avoid the chaos that defined the Trump era. But at the moment, chaos is winning over competence. And that is a major problem for Biden and his administration.”
 
CNN even threw Bush and Obama under the bus to protect Biden. Bush is at fault for starting the war in Afghanistan and not knowing how long we would be there.
 
Obama is at fault for not listening to the wisdom of his VP. After a grueling internal debate, during which then-Vice President Biden made his opposition to the surge known, Obama ultimately began deploying tens of thousands more troops to Afghanistan. Obama’s action issued that we would be in Afghanistan for several more years.
 
If I was to poll the Visitors of Rapture Ready on their approval of Joe Biden’s Presidency, I think it would be around 20%. I looked at several polls on Biden, and I found a democratic poll that said he still has the backing of 87% of Democrats. This is the type of number you would only see with a radical cult.
 
Biden is not only surrounded by Yes men; he is encompassed by people who have no regard for negative poll numbers. Here is what one reporter noted, “His political team seems incredibly arrogant about public opinion, like they don’t need to worry about it … until it’s too late.”
 
I don’t think there has ever been a time where there has been such a disregard for the truth. To any sane person, it appears our elites and their media sycophants are engaging in an unprecedented preposterous statement tournament. President Biden said there are no Americans trapped in Kabul. The Los Angeles Times trots out this crazy headline: “Larry Elder is the Black face of white supremacy. You’ve been warned.”
 
Although I dislike how the liberal media are defending Biden, I don’t want to see them turn against him. My hope is that he struggles until 2024, when any Republican candidate can defeat him. The way things are falling apart, 2024 might as well be 20 years from now.
 
If the press starts chanting for Biden’s removal, President Harris will be the result. She has proven herself to be an ultra-leftist dingbat. I can’t imagine having a president that would be all for defunding the police, a $10 trillion reparations bill for blacks, and the legalization of all drugs.
 
It has been 10 months, and I still can’t believe the American people were foolish enough to vote Biden into the White House. I think the reason we have so many immoral politicians is because the citizens of this nation vote for people who reflect their nature.

It was early morning mid-October 1988 when my partner and I were in an edit suite in New York finishing up a political commercial for one of our clients. We were called into the next edit suite for our opinion. A couple of Roger Ailes’s political consultants were working on a project for the George HW Bush presidential campaign and they wanted our opinion. It was not unusual for us to collaborate with Roger Ailes, who was a premier political consultant prior to becoming president of FOX News, because my partner left Ailes Communications to start Princeton-Fairfax Communications with me. We were viewing on the studio’s big screen shots of the funniest little guy riding around in an army tank.
 
Here we are at about 2:00 am speeding up, slowing down, getting a good chuckle from footage of Democratic Presidential Candidate Michael Dukakis riding around in circles in an army tank looking like a chipmunk from some cartoon. Ailes had written some copy around the news footage of Dukakis’ visit to a General Dynamics facility a month earlier where he took a joy ride in an M1A1 Abrams battle tank. Dukakis was hoping it would boost his image from being a military and foreign policy weakling. Well, we viewed that footage for quite a while before selecting the final cuts in what became a very famous commercial about Dukakis’ terrible record of military opposition. One of the lines in the copy was “He even criticized our rescue mission to Grenada and our strike on Libya. And now he wants to be our commander in chief.”
 
Dukakis suffered a landslide loss, only carrying 10 states and Washington, DC. The rest is history. At least until today. Dukakis likely would have been the biggest idiot since Jimmy Carter to sit in the White House, but the American people decisively put their foot down, especially after the tank commercial brought into clear focus what could happen under a Dukakis White House. Fast forward to 2020, where another chipmunk hid in his basement for most of the campaign, held sparsely-attended rallies at drive-ins, and bumbled through speeches promoting an insane platform of wealth redistribution and submissive foreign policy. The difference this time is THAT guy made it to the White House.
 
And we are seeing first-hand the channeling of Dukakis in every policy decision from not securing our border to mishandling a pandemic to rising inflation and spending to extraordinary foreign policy travesties with Iran and Afghanistan. The demonstrated incompetence of Joe Biden AND HIS ADMINISTRATION, mixed with delusional arrogance places all of us and our families in great danger. Psalm 34:15 says, “The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.” Let us cry out to the Lord that He may hear our pleas and deliver us from this trouble. Until then, like Dukakis, Biden is running around in circles thinking he is the emblem of courage and righteousness when in reality he is…say it with me…Stupidocrisy.

Have you ever wondered what will happen in the future? Have you ever wished you could see what will take place? In some ways, I’m glad I don’t know the future. God knows the future, I know Him, and that’s enough.
 
The book of Revelation, however, gives us a glimpse into the future. In fact, the Bible says there’s a special blessing promised to those who hear and keep the words of this book (see Revelation 1:3).
 
Revelation means “the unveiling,” because it is not God’s desire to conceal but to reveal. And one thing I’ve learned from studying this great book is that God has a plan, and everything is right on schedule. I’ve also discovered that the best is yet to come, and as followers of Jesus Christ, we win in the end.
 
When we study Revelation, and Bible prophecy in general, we gain perspective. When we learn about the future, it motivates us to live righteously in the present. And how we view the future is important. If we believe that Jesus could return at any moment, it will affect the way that we live.
 
For instance, when you were a child and did something wrong, maybe your mother said, “Just wait until your father gets home!” Did you look forward to his arrival?
 
No, you didn’t. When you heard his car pull into the driveway and knew he was walking up to the door, you were afraid.
 
On the other hand, if you were good and didn’t get into trouble that day, you could hardly wait until your father got home.
 
Now let’s apply that to the Lord’s return. If we’re right with God, then we’re looking forward to it. But if we’ve disobeyed Him, then maybe we’re dreading it.
 
Our belief in the imminent return of Jesus has an effect on us and on the way we live.
