Just The Beginning - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2023/02/18/just-the-beginning-by-daymond-duck/
On Feb. 6, 2023, Michael Snyder (theeconomiccollapseblog.com) posted an article titled “The Giant Earthquakes That We Just Witnessed in Turkey Are Just The Beginning.” Snyder cited an Oregon State University (OSU) study by seismologist Tyler Metcalf that said, “a major earthquake in one part of the globe can cause large earthquakes in other parts of the globe.” According to Snyder and the OSU study, the earthquakes in Turkey could be just the beginning of more earthquakes because large earthquakes often trigger other earthquakes. I am not predicting more earthquakes in the coming days, but the Bible does teach that earthquakes will increase in frequency and intensity at the end of the age (called the beginning of sorrows; Matt. 24:3-8), and it does teach that the terminal generation will be able to see all the signs beginning to come to pass (Luke 21:28). It is my opinion that the current generation of people is witnessing Tribulation Period events (world government, tracking all buying and selling, famine, earthquakes, pestilences, economic collapse, etc.) beginning to shape up. It is just the beginning, but it seems obvious to many that study the subject. (Note: On Feb. 7-8, 2023, starting one day after Snyder’s article, three small earthquakes struck Israel in 24 hours; 3.9, 3.4, and 3.4.) (Note: On Feb. 7. 2023, Arab media reported that several small pieces of tile containing verses from the Koran fell off the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount. They blamed Israel for not letting them make repairs to the structure.) (Note: On Feb. 12, 2023, 6 days after the first earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the total number of deaths in both nations was approaching 35,000 and expected to exceed 50,000. The destruction of thousands of houses and buildings was making it difficult for survivors to find food, water, shelter, fuel, and electricity, and the destruction of roads and bridges was making it difficult for people to get aid to them. Dissatisfaction over the pace of recovery was leading to rioting in some places. Make your salvation sure, and be thankful for what you have. Many people went to bed not knowing they would not be alive the next day. Many others lost everything they had, including loved ones, in a matter of minutes.) Here is more on the signs of His Coming. One, concerning immorality, perversion, and reprobate minds at the end of the age: on Feb. 7, 2023, it was reported that Finland has amended the nation’s transgender laws to allow citizens that are 18 or over to legally change their gender once a year. Why am I getting the impression that there is no end to this kind of thinking? As I see it, allowing people to legally change their gender every 12 months will make it impossible for everyone to call them by their preferred gender. How can anyone change their gender in one day? Two, on Feb. 8, 2023, it was reported that this spring, two groups in the Church of England will meet to explore “the use of gender-neutral terms when referring to God.” A spokesperson said God has not changed, God is neither male nor female, but the Church has not done a good job of using inclusive language. As far as I am concerned, the Scriptures were written by holy men of God who wrote what God told them to write (II Pet. 1:21). Changing just one word to soothe people’s feelings will be just the beginning of changing other things in the Bible (II Tim. 4:3-4). Three, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Feb. 3, 2023, worthynews.com posted an excellent article by retired Israeli Col. Jacques Neriah. According to the article, a pre-emptive Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities is no longer a “maybe” for Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu. It is a matter of “when” to do it and how much preparation is needed. Israel must prepare for:
Some big questions include Israel’s ability to permanently destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities, the help of Arab neighbors that fear Iran, and U.S. support. Four, concerning the desert blooming in Israel during the Millennium: I recently wrote that Israel has built several desalination plants, has filled the Sea of Galilee, and would soon double the amount of water it sells to Jordan. On Feb. 7, 2023, it was reported that the rains have arrived in most of Israel, including Jerusalem and the desert areas of the south. The water level in the Sea of Galilee is now less than six inches from the red line at which water must be released, or there will be flooding along the shoreline. More rain, including snow in the mountains, is forecast for the coming week. Five, concerning world government: I recently wrote that there were two globalist meetings in Jan. 2023 (The WHO International Health Regulations Review Committee, IHRRC, and the WEF Annual Meeting) that submitted proposals to be voted on at the upcoming WHO Assembly Meeting in May. I wrote that Dr. Francis Boyle, Prof. of Law at the Univ. of IL, studied those proposals and said they will set up a worldwide totalitarian medical and scientific police state and that every nation on earth could lose their national sovereignty if those proposals are approved. One very dangerous aspect of those proposals is that the International Health Regulations (IHRs) will be changed from “non-binding” to “legally binding,” and WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus will be empowered to declare a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, whether there is a real one or not, just by saying that the “potential” for one exists. This is extremely important because, on Feb. 8, 2023, Ghebreyesus warned during a virtual briefing that the H5N1 bird flu virus could become a global pandemic and “potentially” infect humans. If the IHRs become “legally binding” global laws in May, the only thing that is needed for one man to take over the medical and scientific sovereignty of every nation on earth is for Ghebreyesus to declare that the potential exists for the bird flu (or monkeypox or anything else) to become a global pandemic. Six, concerning world government: on Feb. 13, 2023, about 10,000 globalists from 150 nations started meeting at the World Government Summit 2023 under the guise of “Shaping Future Governments.” There were 220 sessions that included discussions of:
Elon Musk, Founder of SpaceX, participated in a discussion of the main issues that concern the world. Klaus Schwab, Founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), discussed the state of the world (including the future world economy and the future of society). Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), discussed the transition to digital healthcare and WHO efforts to eliminate epidemics and chronic diseases. (Note: After writing about this meeting, I almost deleted it because it doesn’t tell you very much, but I decided that 10,000 globalists from 150 nations plotting to change the world’s economy, healthcare, the future of society, etc., is noteworthy.) Seven, concerning world government: on Feb. 9, 2023, Poland’s Prime Min. said, “Poland is ready to take co-responsibility for shaping the New World Order.” He called for more international help for Ukraine and opposed a ceasefire in Ukraine’s war with Russia. I ask,
My answer,
(FYI: Note: be aware that Poland is opposing a ceasefire, that Ukraine is rejecting peace talks, and that war and rumors of war continue in Ukraine.) Eight, concerning world government: in an interview titled “English journalist James Delingpole speaks to LifeSiteNews about Covid jabs, globalists, and God,” on Feb. 10, 2023, it was reported that Delingpole, a famous writer for several major publications, accused shadowy figures in governments, the media, and Big Pharma of colluding to impose the Babylonian slave system upon the world (make everyone on earth a slave to a very narrow group of controllers). Delingpole talked about his salvation during this time of global upheaval, he said the things that are going on are part of God’s plan, he said people can oppose the cashless society by using cash, and he encouraged the informed to expose the globalist plan to as many people as possible. (My opinion: This famous writer, Delingpole, is a very wise man because he realized that this time of global upheaval is leading to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, and he let it motivate him to improve His relationship with God through Jesus.) Nine, concerning one world government and the tracking of everyone: on Feb. 10, 2023, it was reported that the World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) proposed International Pandemic Treaty calls for:
Ten, concerning world government, tracking everyone, and reducing the population of the earth: on Feb. 10, 2023, it was reported that a World Health Organization (WHO) official called for:
Eleven, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Feb. 11, 2023, Ukrainian Pres. Zelensky said Ukraine wants to be a member of the EU, not Russia, and he pleaded with the EU to give him more weapons, including fighter jets. The EU has not done it for fear that the war will spread. The next day, Feb. 12, 2023, Russia responded by launching a barrage of more than 50 missiles at Ukraine. (Note: On Feb. 13, 2023, it was reported that the U.S. has informed all U.S. citizens living or traveling in Russia to leave immediately and to exercise caution because Russian security services are arresting U.S. citizens on spurious charges.) Twelve, with Ash Wednesday looming (the beginning of a season of repentance in Catholic and some Protestant churches; Feb. 22, 2023, this year), Roman Catholic Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano delivered a sermon that strikes me as amazing. Here is my understanding of Vigano’s main points:
https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/abp-vigano-pagan-modernity-is-preparing-a-scourge-far-more-disastrous-than-the-flood/?utm_source=daily-usa-2023-02-14&utm_medium=email Finally, are you Rapture Ready? If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this. [email protected] Closedmindedness, Superstition, and Paganism: The Unraveling of the American Mind – By Hal Lindsey - https://harbingersdaily.com/the-unraveling-of-the-american-mind/ In 1987, Allan Bloom, then a professor at the University of Chicago, published The Closing of the American Mind. The book was hailed by conservatives and liberals alike. The New York Times wrote that it “hits with the approximate force and effect of electroshock therapy.” The Washington Post called it, “Rich and absorbing… A grand tour of the American mind.” Bloom showed how the relativism taught at universities leads to closed minds. He lamented “parents’ loss of control over the children’s moral education at a time when no one else is seriously concerned with it.” The book was influential, but I wish its influence had been even greater. The Closing of the American Mind was like a sandcastle trying to hold back a rising tide. Over time, the entertainment, political, media, and religious establishments joined the educational establishment in pushing the deadly ideas Bloom warned against. Today in America, the establishment has imprisoned the nation’s young within walls of closedmindedness, superstition, and paganism. The results have been devastating. According to a new study released by the CDC, one in three high school girls admits to considering suicide in the last year. 57% of high school girls and 29% of high school boys say they experience persistent feelings of sadness and hopelessness. Almost half of LGBTQ+ students have considered suicide and 37 percent of them have formed a suicide plan. These numbers are staggering. What’s going on? Relativism, though a huge problem, is really the symptom of a bigger problem. You’ll find the real problem laid out in Romans 1:1832. Those verses speak of human beings “who suppress the truth in unrighteousness” (vs 18, NASB). It says, “Professing to be wise, they became fools” (vs 22). “They exchanged the truth of God for a lie” (vs 25). God’s judgment is to allow his repudiators to have what they desire. “God gave them over to degrading passions” (vs 26). In Greek, the words translated “gave over to” carry the connotation of “surrender.” In a sense, God simply lets go. Romans 1:28 is one of the saddest verses in the Bible. “Just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind.” God surrenders them to the consequences of their own choices and desires. Romans 1:29-31 gives us a taste of how depravity of mind manifests itself into the world. It leads people to “unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice.” It goes on to say, “They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful.” We now live in that world. And we see the pain, sadness, loneliness, misery, and mental illnesses it causes. God remains all-powerful, but He allows us to choose whether we will push Him away or invite Him in. Americans as a whole have actively pushed God away for generations. We now see the sad, ugly results. We should pray for a spiritual awakening in America and the world. But most of, let us pray for revival within ourselves and among our fellow Christians, so that we may effectively share God’s light in a darkening world. Prophecy Update Videos Must Watch Videos! This Rapture Generation – Terry James - https://terryjamesprophecyline.com/2023/02/19/this-rapture-generation/ My commentary title this week will likely be construed by some as audacious. “This Rapture Generation” implies that people of earth alive now are those who will, without doubt, be the generation of believers who go to Christ in the Rapture, doesn’t it? Those who have named specific dates for that stupendous event have earned consternation down through the years, and deservedly so. Jesus Himself declared that no one but the Father knows the day or hour when it will occur. And certainly, to date, that truth has played out exactly as the Son of God—who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life—said. Yet, at the same time, the Apostle Paul implied himself to be part of the generation that would be raptured: For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:15–18) Paul obviously expected to be part of those who would be living when Christ calls believers to Himself in the Rapture. The pronouns used are pretty clear, aren’t they? Yet Paul has been dead for 2000 years or so, and the Rapture is still future, as we are all too aware. So is God’s Word (the “Word” who, in fact, is the Lord Jesus Christ, according to John 1:1) less than truthful with us through the prophecy given Paul regarding the Rapture? We know the answer to that is a resounding “no.” God cannot lie, therefore we are to think through Paul’s words with our born-again, Holy Spirit-influenced discernment to understand the apparently audacious statement. Paul’s declaration was as audacious as my title for this commentary, I think. So what is this seeming contradiction all about? The answer, I believe, is found in another familiar statement by Paul, one we use frequently in studying the Rapture. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. (Titus 2:13) I believe that wrapped up in this profound statement of faith is an instruction to all believers. During this Age of Grace (Church Age), we’re always to be earnestly expecting Jesus to snatch us from this fallen sphere at any moment. This instruction—this commandment—has been in effect since the Church was born (as presented in Acts chapter 2). Every believer since that time should treat the promise of the Rapture as if it absolutely will take place while we are still living on earth. As a matter of fact, all who love the prospect of Christ’s appearing are promised a crown of righteousness. With this in mind, the title, “This Rapture Generation,” is appropriate for those of us who are believers now. Jesus will come for us in the Rapture at any moment—perhaps today! I hope to go much deeper in expressing this certainty. And we do go deeper with each and every article presented. At least that is our aim. The signals are brilliantly projected for those with discerning spirits to understand. Our Lord is unfolding prophetic signals of such unmistakable significance that we would have to look in another direction to miss just how near we are to the Tribulation. The Rapture is thus right at the exit door of human history for believers in Jesus Christ. Sadly, most who should be helping God’s children focus on the lateness of the hour continue to feed only pabulum about how to grow into Christian adulthood. Such spiritual food isn’t bad, of course. The Scripture is necessary to spiritual growth. But there comes the time that requires us to take a deep look into just how late the hour is on God’s prophetic timeline. We are now very near that instant of Rapture about which we’re forewarning. This is almost certainly the Rapture generation, and I cannot feel sheepish in declaring it. Tell everyone you know, using your own words, the soul-saving truth encompassed by Paul’s Holy Spirit-given formula for going in the Rapture when Christ calls: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10) Want to understand the New Testament? Read the 'Old Testament' - By Joseph Farah - https://www.wnd.com/2023/02/want-understand-new-testament-read-old-testament/ It must have been a very depressing and confusing Passover week for the closest followers of Jesus, who has trekked with Him for years through the Galilee with the expectation that He would shortly assume the kingship of Israel, reining and ruling from Jerusalem. After all, that's what they were expecting when the week began. Instead, their teacher, their rabbi, their Lord, was arrested, imprisoned, tortured, tried by a corrupt high priest and the equally tainted Sanhedrin, and finally crucified like a common criminal by the Roman military authorities on a high holy day. Peter, for one, was so discouraged that he denied three times being one of His followers. The other apostles hid in fear for three days and three nights, not comprehending what had become of their Messiah or what would become of them. Early Sunday morning, a group of women close to Jesus – Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James and Joses, Salome, and others – who had prepared spices for embalming His body, walked to the garden tomb. Knowing the entrance to the tomb would be covered by a huge, rolling stone, they wondered aloud, "Who will help us roll away the stone?" When they arrived, they were shocked and perplexed to find the large stone, sealed under the watch of Roman guards, already rolled away, the Lord's body gone. "Two men … in shining garments," probably angels, spoke to the women, saying: "Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again" (Luke 24:7). The women, experiencing both fear and joy, hurried back to tell the 11 apostles and other disciples what they had seen and been told. No sooner had they left than they were met by the risen Jesus Himself, who said, "All hail … Be not afraid; go and tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there they shall see me" (Matthew 28:9-10). Though some of the men did not believe the story, Peter and John ran to the open tomb and found only Jesus' grave clothes. That same day, two of the apostles decided to journey to the village of Emmaus, a distance of nearly 7 miles. Maybe they needed to clear their heads of all the things they had experienced over the last four days. Perhaps they just wanted to talk through all that happened. As they walked and talked, they were joined by the risen Jesus, but they did not recognize Him. Jesus asked them, "What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?" The one named Cleopas responded, "Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?" Jesus said, "Which things?" They said, "Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: And how the chief priest and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him. But we trusted that it been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done. Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre; And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive. And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not." Jesus responded, "O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself." Why is this important for today's believers to understand? This was the same day that Jesus rose from the dead. The only scriptures Jesus could use to explain to Cleopas and his friend on that long walk to Emmaus were those that were already written: the Hebrew Scriptures, which we problematically refer to as "the Old Testament." It would be decades, at least, before the Greek Scriptures, or the "New Testament," would be written and widely circulated to spread the Gospel far and wide. Think about that. The apostles, we're told in Acts 17:6, had turned the world down without the benefit of the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John or any other books of the "New Testament," which means their main resource, from which came all of their scriptural references, was the Tanakh, or Hebrew Bible. That's what Jesus used to explain all to his friends on the road to Emmaus, and it was not merely enough. In fact, after that lesson, Cleopas and his companion agreed: "Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?" (Luke 24:32). It must have been quite the Bible study. We've all heard the story about the road to Emmaus. But the point is this: Jesus explained the good new using only the "Old Testament," suggesting that after 2,000 years, we should be able to do likewise. We should be able to mine the Hebrew Scriptures to evangelize our Jewish brothers and sisters. That's what Jesus was doing. After all, it would be decades before His apostles and disciples, all Jewish, would even think about bringing the Gospel to the Gentiles. The "Old Testament," or Tanakh, is the foundation for our faith as Christians. Without it, we cannot fully appreciate, or explain, or comprehend the work of Jesus, the very Jewish God-Man, who came to atone for the sins of the world and build His kingdom here in Earth. That's why I chose the title for my latest book, "The Gospel in Every Book of the Old Testament," specifically what Peter said about this very topic in Acts 3:18-26 on the day of Pentecost: "But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days. Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities." It's one continuous love story – from beginning to end. Daily Jot: A time of reflection on God and Country - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com As America reflects on President’s Day and where we are as a nation, it is sad that true Americans are vilified by a popular political “party,” and anything standing on ethics, morals and traditional values is ridiculed, mocked and frowned upon. This is a contradiction to the ideal of America. Those who first came to this new land were predominantly Christians who fled Europe because of religious persecution and/or the hope for a better life. This is documented through the writings of those who settled in Jamestown, Plymouth and even the Huguenots who settled in what is now Florida in the late 1500s. The “state of mind” of these early Americans was freedom of worship and enterprise. Our first president, George Washington, gave great insight into what it means to be an American in his 1796 Farewell Speech. He said, “Citizens, by birth or choice, of a common country, that country has a right to concentrate your affections. The name of American, which belongs to you in your national capacity, must always exalt the just pride of patriotism more than any appellation derived from local discriminations. With slight shades of difference, you have the same religion, manners, habits, and political principles. You have in a common cause fought and triumphed together; the independence and liberty you possess are the work of joint counsels, and joint efforts of common dangers, sufferings, and successes.” Washington pointed out that all citizens have independence and liberty in common. He said that for the most part, Americans share the same religion, manners, habits and political principles. That is, they were Christian; they were individualist, enterprising, and depended on the “national union” of our government “as of the palladium of your political safety and prosperity.” It is for this reason that Washington believed Americans should be watching for the nation’s “preservation with jealous anxiety…and indignantly frowning upon the first dawning of every attempt to alienate any portion of our country from the rest, or to enfeeble the sacred ties which now link together the various parts.” The Founding Fathers envisioned a limited government where citizens would give up some independence for the protections needed to have a civil society. In this way, the Founders used Exodus 18:20-21 as a guide to establish our Republic, “And you shall teach them ordinances and laws, and shall show them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do. Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them…” Self governance can only be accomplished through good citizenship. As you consider the present state of our nation and its leaders, perhaps measure them on the balance of Washington’s words and the premise of Exodus 18, and hold them accountable to the true American ideal. Daily Devotion: Why We Need Worship - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them —Matthew 18:20 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/why-we-need-worship/ - Listen I came to Christ initially because I saw a bunch of Christians worshipping the Lord on my high school campus. I was just a kid who was into drugs, and I had no direction in life. But one day as I was walking across my high school campus, I noticed a group of Christians sitting on the front lawn and singing songs. The very weirdness of it interested me. Why were they singing songs about God at lunchtime on the front lawn? I sat down far enough away to avoid looking like I was one of them. But I made sure that I was close enough to eavesdrop on what they were doing. And as I watched them sing their simple songs about God, I was moved by it. Something extraordinary happens when God’s people get together and sing His praises. Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20 NKJV). Jesus wasn’t saying that God only shows up when people worship. God is omnipresent; He is everywhere. But God manifests His presence in a special way when His people lift up His name in praise and worship. The first-century church was a worshipping church. Acts 2 tells us “they worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people” (verses 46–47 NLT). It is a powerful testimony to the world when a Christian can praise God despite hardship. Christians face the same hardships that nonbelievers face. But when they see us praising God despite adverse circumstances, when they see us honoring the Lord, that is a powerful testimony. Our worship can be a witness.
