Here are more stories that recently made the news. One, on Dec. 22, 2021, it was reported that a group of prominent lawyers, medical people and others has filed a legal petition with the International Criminal Court (ICC) requesting the prosecution for “crimes against humanity” of The Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NAID; Dr. Anthony Fauci), Bill and Melinda Gates, The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO; Tedros Ghebreyesus), The Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF; Klaus Schwab), The Prime Min. of the UK (Boris Johnson), the CEOs of several pharmaceutical companies, and others. According to the document, those being sued are responsible for the injury and or death of at least 395,049 people, blocking alternative safe treatments for Covid (Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, etc.), colluding to keep people from assembling and traveling, damaging the fertility of women, subjecting people to future side effects, harming people that have refused to be vaccinated (causing them to lose their jobs, go out of business), and more. Two, concerning Covid vaccinations: on Dec. 24, 2021, everyone on the U.S. Navy ship “USS Milwaukee” was fully vaccinated, and the ship was scheduled to deploy to South America that day. Nevertheless, the ship’s deployment was paused because of an outbreak of Covid on the ship. Three, on Dec. 19, 2021, the cruise ship Koningsdam left California on a cruise to Mexico with 1,035 fully vaccinated passengers and 874 fully vaccinated crew members on board. 2 days later, the crew members were tested for Covid, and 21 came out positive. Mexico refused to allow anyone to leave the ship. (More: On Dec. 23, 2031, it was reported that 55 fully vaccinated crew members and passengers on the cruise ship Odyssey of the Seas have tested positive for Covid, and the ship has been denied entry to Curacao and Aruba.) Four, concerning world government and the “Great Reset”: on Dec. 22, 2021, it was reported that the Rockefeller Foundation has released a report called “Reset the Table,” and it calls for a global central government to control the world’s food supply. Globalists are claiming that Covid is causing millions of people to go hungry, and a global central government is needed to make the distribution of food more fair and equitable. If globalists control the food, they will control who gets to eat, how much they get to eat, what they get to eat, etc. Those that don’t want to starve to death will be enslaved by the world government. Five, concerning world government monitoring and controlling everything people do: on Dec. 26, 2021, a World Economic Forum (WEF) video was posted that says scientists are urging people to wash their clothes less frequently to protect the environment and help our planet. Here is a link to the update: https://www.messianicworldupdate.com/ In recent weeks, Russia has moved perhaps as many as 175,000 troops with equipment into position for a possible attack on Ukraine in early 2022. Pres. Biden has called Pres. Putin and threatened severe sanctions if Putin doesn’t back off. Approximately one week ago, Russia sent an official diplomatic message to the U.S., Ukraine, and NATO with a list of demands and an ultimatum to accept them within 20 days:
NATO immediately rejected Russia’s demands, but Pres. Biden said he will discuss them with Pres. Putin in early Jan. 2022 (call now set for Jan. 10, 2022). NATO doesn’t believe Biden is reliable, so NATO will not take on Russia without strong action from Biden. Russia believes Biden is weak and will cave, but Russia appears determined to attack Ukraine and is preparing for the war to go nuclear if Biden doesn’t meet Russia’s demands. Pres. Putin has responded by giving his military leaders access to nuclear weapons (mobile nuclear weapons plus stationary nuclear weapons in silos). Russia is also preparing burial sites for large numbers of people that could die from nuclear radiation (normal graves are not sufficient). (More: Last weekend, Russia pulled back 10,000 troops, and there was speculation that Putin had changed his mind. On Dec. 27, 2021, it was reported that Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister said, “We are not bluffing.”) Seven, also concerning perilous times with wars and rumors of wars (specifically the potential Chinese invasion of Taiwan): China appears to be waiting on the winter Olympics in China and to see what Biden does about Ukraine. If Russia can get Biden to meet its demands on Ukraine, China believes they can force Biden to meet China’s demands on Taiwan. Biden’s defeat and withdrawal in Afghanistan now seems to leave him with just two choices: Give up Ukraine and Taiwan or go to war with Russia and China in early 2022 (and he has cut the U.S. military’s budget, forced unvaccinated military personnel to resign, gone ‘woke,’ etc.). Eight, God said He will multiply the Jews upon the mountains of Israel (the Golan Heights and more), cause the Jews to walk upon the mountains, and give the fruit on the mountains to the Jews at the end of the age (Ezek. 36:1-12). On Dec. 26, 2021, the Israeli cabinet unanimously approved $317 million to build new Jewish communities (7,300 housing units), improve the infrastructure, improve crop production, and encourage Jews to move to the Golan Heights in the next 5 years. Currently, about 27,000 Jews live on the Golan Heights, and the goal is to increase the Jewish population to about 100,000 Jews. (Update: On Dec. 27, 2021, the Syrian Foreign Ministry said Syria rejects Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights and will do everything it can to retake the area. This could play into the destruction of Damascus in one night.) Nine, concerning the coming global hyperinflation and economic collapse early in the Tribulation Period: on Dec. 28, 2021, Glenn Beck released a video in which he says, “Almost one in five homes sold in the U.S. during the third quarter of 2021 was purchased by an investment firm, and many are paying tens of thousands of dollars over the asking price.” Beck said, “Investors bought more than 90,000 homes, totaling more than $63 billion,” and he added that “nearly 77% were bought in an all-cash transaction.” According to Beck, the reason investors are paying tens of thousands of dollars over the asking price is because they know what is coming, and they would rather own property than have money. (More: Investors are buying entire communities, every house on a street; some realtors are buying many of the houses that are put up for sale. Some predict that people will be forced to rent houses in the near future because they will cost more than the average person can afford.) The current administration is deliberately hindering U.S. oil production in the name of protecting the environment from Climate Change despite the fact that the Bible clearly teaches that God—not them—controls the weather.) Jesus told us that the time preceding His return would be a time of lawlessness. Right now, that trend is red hot over most of the world, and it seems certain to get worse in 2022. An especially disturbing aspect of the current climate of lawlessness is how high it reaches. Corrupt governments litter the earth. Across the world, national leaders and prosecutors tend to enforce the law against political opponents, but not against political supporters. In recent years, global elites have used disasters and the threat of disasters to create a pace of worldwide change never seen before. This change includes a redefining of moral values and even of the definition of truth. Over the past two years, they have primarily used Covid-19. In 2022, they will continue to use fear as the primary driver of change. But as the year goes on, expect them to increasingly shift the focus of our fears more toward climate change. Disasters (natural and manmade) are a mark of the end time, and we should not be surprised when they increase. The Bible specifically speaks of hyper-inflation and the threat of global economic collapse as we get closer to the Lord’s return. It also speaks of an increase in racial tensions and globalism. The truth is, we see prophecy being fulfilled, or getting ready to be fulfilled, everywhere we look. That should spur us on to increased efforts in evangelism. We must resolve to make 2022 a year for getting God’s word out to the whole world. And while we faithfully give to missionary causes around the globe, let us also remember our families, neighbors, friends, and local communities. They need the gospel, too. The tenor of the times should provoke us deeper into the Bible and into prayer. We don’t have time for complacency. Draw close to Him. Follow Him relentlessly. Follow Him in every part of your life. And be at peace. Thousands of years ago, God told prophets details about the day we live in. Let that give you comfort. He is still in control. Rest in Him and in the infallibility of His promises. For a couple of decades after it was popularized, the Internet was one of the greatest tools for free speech that the world has ever seen. It allowed ordinary people like me to share truth on a massive scale with other ordinary people all over the planet. I have always been grateful for that opportunity, but now our ability to share truth with one another over the Internet is being systematically eroded. Nobody can deny that this is taking place, because it is literally happening right in front of our eyes. Over the past decade, control of the Internet has become increasingly centralized. The big tech companies have become exceptionally powerful, and they have become addicted to using that power to suppress speech that they do not like. This is an extremely dangerous trend, because the Internet has become the primary way that the vast majority of us communicate with one another. It truly is our modern version of “the marketplace of ideas”, but now the big tech companies are absolutely determined to distort it into something else entirely. At this point, there are a whole host of ideas that you aren’t allowed to freely discuss on the Internet anymore. In fact, there are a whole host of questions that you aren’t even allowed to ask. When a society gets to a point where you aren’t even allowed to ask questions, that is a very clear sign that you are living under a very oppressive authoritarian regime. Years ago when they started banning various prominent voices we all knew that it wouldn’t end there. And it hasn’t. Today, the big tech companies have no problem banning literally anyone. For example, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene just got permanently banned on Twitter… Twitter permanently blacklisted the personal account of a sitting member of Congress, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) over the New Year’s weekend. “Twitter is an enemy to America and can’t handle the truth,” Rep. Greene said, in a statement responding to the ban. “That’s fine, I’ll show America we don’t need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies.” Rep. Greene has one of the largest followings on social media of any Republican member of Congress. Prior to her ban, she had over 465,000 followers on Twitter, meaning the Republican party and conservative movement has lost one of its most influential accounts on the platform. Five years ago, if you told me that the big tech companies would start banning our politicians in Washington, I would have told you that you were crazy. But now nobody is safe. Once Twitter and Facebook banned a sitting president, we all knew that there was no going back. Of course the pandemic has given the big tech companies an excuse to push their levels of censorship to even higher levels. Just a few days ago, Twitter banned Dr. Robert Malone just before he was interviewed by Joe Rogan… Dr. Robert Malone played a key role in the invention of the mRNA vaccine, the type of vaccine that is being administered to many Americans in an effort to stave off COVID-19. Malone has often been critical of the use of the vaccines, as well those in the media and government who support them. He shared a great deal of research on his Twitter account, which had more than half a million followers. “We all knew it would happen eventually,” Malone said on his Substack. “Today it did. Over a half million followers gone in a blink of an eye. That means I must have been on the mark, so to speak. Over the target. It also means we lost a critical component in our fight to stop these vaccines being mandated for children and to stop the corruption in our governments, as well as the medical-industrial complex and pharmaceutical industries.” So now it appears that Twitter is preemptively banning people. We truly have entered “Minority Report” territory, and that is extremely chilling. Considering everything that has been happening with the pandemic, you would think that we would want to hear what one of the inventors of mRNA technology has to say. Dr. Robert Malone has decades of experience, and he had been one of the most respected names in his field. But because he has viewpoints that don’t align with the official narratives being pushed by the pharmaceutical industry, he is being blacklisted by the big tech companies. If you think that you can get around all the censorship by simply refusing to use the big tech company platforms, you are wrong. Just consider this example. Gateway Pundit is reporting that T-Mobile is literally erasing links to their articles from text messages… Hi Jim. In one of the screenshots you can see where my sister tried to send me your website link four times but I never got it. The other two screenshots it shows me sending a link to one of your articles, that’s the one with the picture of the fox in it. In the other screenshot from my sister it shows that she never received the link. The text message it still has the fox in it. I hope this helps. But what I realized is it’s actually just my boost T-Mobile carrier that’s blocking your links. I have a friend in the 949 area code and he was able to send it to his wife, however, I can only receive it in a group text. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks. Mark. I have had a similar experience with articles written by Mike Adams of Natural News. When I try to send links to Natural News through Facebook Messenger, the links are simply erased from the messages somehow. That is the level of censorship that we are now facing. They literally want to control what we see, what we hear and what we think. And of course this is setting the stage for a level of authoritarianism unlike anything we have ever seen before in all of human history. Without freedom of speech, all of our other freedoms will rapidly become meaningless. Sadly, at this point freedom of speech in the United States is getting pretty close to being completely wiped out. Our Republic is rapidly dying, and millions upon millions of Americans are cheering as it happens. The big tech companies have become the arbiters of truth, but most of the “truths” that they are relentlessly pushing are actually lies. I don’t know if there is a way out of this mess, but we must find one, because the future of our society hangs in the balance. How Near the Rapture? - By Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/2022/01/02/how-near-the-rapture-by-terry-james/ We’ve just paused to examine, to marvel over, the coming of the Christ child—the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. Christmas is, therefore, perhaps an even better time than ever to think on Christ coming again to wrap up all involved in that majestic purpose the Lord declared “finished” from the cross at Calvary. God’s Word–Jesus, Himself—gave many signals of the wrap-up of matters involving the reclamation of this fallen planet. All of those signals were, most end-times seminary scholars seem to believe, issued to point to the Second Coming. The signs Jesus gave, we are told by many in this category, don’t include the mystery later revealed to and by the apostle Paul. I refer to the first phase of the Second Coming. Paul divulged that “mystery” in the following, of course. “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:51-5). I disagree with my friends who believe Jesus never alluded to the Rapture while He was on earth in the flesh, preparing to sacrifice Himself for the sins of fallen mankind. I believe that He did so while speaking to His closest disciples who asked Him questions after He said He would be going away (speaking of His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension). The Lord said: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:1-3). Jesus was talking here about His return to receive believers into His presence–above the earth (in the clouds); he wasn’t speaking of meeting them on the earth’s surface. Christ’s words here involve the “mystery” that Paul referenced in 1 Corinthians 15. Jesus will call all believers to Himself in the air (Revelation 4:1). Like in the case of His words to His disciples and to us down through the centuries, Jesus’ prophecy concerning the wrap-up of this earth age was meant for all believers, not just for the Jews, I’m convinced. The seminarians mostly believe that Matthew chapters 24 and 25 (the Olivet Discourse) were given only for Israel. The signs given in the Olivet Discourse, they proclaim, therefore don’t include mention of the Rapture of the church of this present age. We have looked many times in these commentaries how and why I (and may I add significant Bible prophecy teachers) find Christ’s reference to that stunning event in the Olivet Discourse—for example, in Matthew 24:36-42 and again in Luke 17:26-30. We believe these words of our Lord speak explicitly about a time like the “days of Lot” and how He will intervene catastrophically just as He did in that evil time. Jesus said people will be buying, selling, marrying, planting, and building just as usual. He will intervene into that wicked, evil time, and judgment will fall that very day. But first, just as Lot was taken out of Sodom, so believers must, in that future day of evil and wickedness, be removed is the clear implication. How near the Rapture? How soon might we hear this call to all believers? We’ve explored weekly all of the things going on in this world of corruption. We’ve especially dealt with the great deception and deceivers the Lord Jesus warned of. We’ve examined in detail every signal, from deception and deceivers to the precise characteristics of end-times man given by Paul in 2 Timothy chapter 3. They are all front and center in every news cycle as we live our daily lives. We are, as was Lot in Sodom, sorely vexed! We face such wickedness not just monthly and yearly, but during every minute of every hour during the news cycles that bring ubiquitous evil-doings before us. Therefore, our question about the nearness of the Rapture is a good one. The days of Lot seem to surround us. When such ungodly, unholy vileness reaches a level that God no longer can abide it, He acts. His next action in dealing with the corruption defiling mankind is scheduled as the last seven years of human history before the Second Advent—the Tribulation. First, remember, His people—all born again of this Age of Grace (Church Age)—must be removed. Has the present earth system corrupted itself to the point that the Lord must once again—and finally—begin deconstructing through the most horrendous judgment in history, this incorrigible world of rebellion? In reading the following, I believe we can get a sense of the Lord’s holy mind through words He gave David millennia ago. I see them as comfort in these times. “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off” (Psalms 37:7-22). America, and the rest of the world for that matter, are in the midst of a culture war where health is used as a weapon of fear to control populations. This is an indicator of just how quickly events can turn and freedom can be fleeting. God chooses to work through his people. The time ahead for our generation, may require us to make extraordinary and difficult decisions to be in alignment with God. In my evening prayer time, many questions came to mind. They were general in nature, some directed at me. Others for everyone. They are questions for the New Year. There is no need to email me your answers to them. They are for personal reflection. Here we go: Is your salvation secure? Do you have a relationship with Christ, your savior? Are you born again? Do you seek the truth? Are you guided by the Holy Spirit in truth, wisdom and discernment? Are you fearful? How do you discern truth? Do you spend time studying God’s word? Do you take what church leaders tell you as fact or truth, or do you look it up for yourself? Do you have a clear understanding of the context of the Bible in comparison to religious or traditional teachings? Do you believe what you want to believe or do you discern the facts in search for the truth? Does politics influence your relationship with God? Do you demonstrate your faith by your deeds or do you do your deeds because they make you a good person? Are you willing to speak boldly to make known the gospel? Who do you follow, God or man? Do you have a clear understanding of how the Lord chooses to work through men here on earth? At what point would you lay your life down as a martyr? What is religious freedom worth to you? How far will you go to preserve your religious freedom? To you, does freedom of speech and religious freedom go hand in hand? What is your tipping point in Ephesians 6:13 of “having done all, to stand”? What does it look like to you to stand in the evil day? Do you hear God calling you to make up a hedge and stand in the gap? What is your call to action? Do you believe that prayer is your action? Do you believe you must both pray and act? What is your view of right and wrong? Does politics impact your view of right or wrong? What is true justice? Is government or newscasts or God the center of your life? As we chart our personal course of life for 2022, it may be of benefit to reflect on our answers to these questions. They may be key to understanding who we are, our value to the Lord, and our response to the many distractions and evils that we may face in the days, weeks, and months ahead. As 2 Timothy 3:1 says “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” And verses 13 and 14, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them.” In other words, when the questions arise, and they will, know who you are in the Lord, and know His Word, for it will make you wise unto your salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Moses was their first. Yes, the people bowed before a golden calf while Moses was away. But they had made an idol out of Moses as well. It wasn’t his fault, however. Moses simply was a godly example. Exodus 14 tells us, “Thus Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done in Egypt; so the people feared the Lord and believed the Lord and His servant Moses” (verse 31 NKJV). Later when Moses left for a time to receive the 10 Commandments, he put his brother, Aaron, in charge. But after a while, the people said, “As for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him” (32:1 NKJV). Hold on. It was God who brought them out of Egypt. But in a way, they had put Moses in the place of God. This happens today. For instance, maybe a wife is more motivated spiritually than her husband, who seems to be just going along for the ride. His relationship with God, so to speak, depends on his wife’s relationship with God. Now let’s just say, for the sake of illustration, that his wife loses interest in spiritual things. It won’t be long before he loses interest as well. Or maybe there’s a pastor that people will flock to hear, but then one day he says or does something that they don’t like. So they say, “That’s it! I’m leaving my faith and walking away from the church.” Don’t build your faith in God on the foundation of another person. Each of us needs our own relationship with Him, one that doesn’t depend on a spouse, parents, or anyone else. The Lord needs to be number one in your life.
