On Mar. 15, 2022, U.S. Sec. of State Antony Blinken said (on CNN’s Situation Room), “I am confident of, first of all, there will be an independent Ukraine a lot longer than a Vladimir Putin. One way or the other, Ukraine will be there, and at some point, Putin won’t. The real question is how much death and destruction are brought by Russia’s aggression in the meantime.” Blinken is right; the day will come when there will be no more Putin, and if he is Gog (as in Ezek. 38), it could be sooner than anyone thinks (pray for his salvation). Here are some stories that made the news in recent days. One, concerning the New World Order (NWO; world government): on Mar. 16, 2022 (the day after Blinken predicted the end of Putin), it was reported that Putin said, Western “attempts to have global dominance is coming to an end.” As I understand the Bible, the Antichrist will rise in the EU (Revived Roman Empire of Iron; Dan. 9:26b), have opposition (Dan. 7:8, 20), and go forth conquering and to conquer (Rev. 6:2). It is my opinion that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is partly (not totally) a struggle over the structure of the New World Order (whether Ukraine will be in the EU region, in the Russian region, etc.). Putin’s attempt to break the West’s global dominance will fail, and the Antichrist will ultimately come out of the EU. I was recently asked if Putin is Gog. We don’t know the identity of Gog, but we can express an opinion. It is my opinion that Putin might be Gog. God can take Putin’s life and replace him with someone else anytime God wants, but if we are as close to the Rapture and Tribulation Period as I think, Putin could be Gog. He could lead his army and allies in an attack on Israel and die during that battle (Ezek. 39:1-5). Two, on Mar. 21, 2022, Pres. Biden spoke at the Business Roundtable’s CEO Quarterly Meeting. Biden made some comments about the New World Order (world government), and several websites have posted links to a video containing what he said. Concerning the New World Order, Biden said, “We are at an inflection point in the world economy, not just the world economy, in the world, and that occurs every three or four generations. One of the top military people said in a secure meeting the other day [that] 60 million people died between 1900 and 1946. Since then, we have established a liberal world order, and that hasn’t happened in a long time, a lot of people dying, but nowhere near the chaos. And now is the time when things are shifting. There is going to be a New World Order out there, and we’ve got to lead it. We’ve got to unite the rest of the free world in doing it.” It was the Pres. of the U.S. (not a Bible prophecy teacher) that said the New World Order (world government) is coming. The UN intends to have it up and running by 2030 or sooner. Pres. Biden is trying to unite the world to meet that goal. According to the Bible, the coming world government will be:

Three, concerning a global economic collapse and famine early in the Tribulation Period: on Mar. 17, 2022, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said the war in Ukraine is undermining the global economy because it is:
(More: On Mar. 18, 2022, a coordinator at the UN World Food Program (WFP) said bombed roads, bridges and trains in Ukraine are collapsing Ukraine’s food supply chain. It was also reported that an official at the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said the war may cause a global surge in malnutrition and famine.) Four, concerning the decline of America: on Mar. 20, 2022, Salvadoran Pres. Bukele expressed the opinion that Joe Biden and his handlers are destroying America, and it is likely on purpose. Bukele posted this on Twitter: “Something so big and powerful (America) can’t be destroyed so quickly unless the enemy comes from within.” (FYI: On Mar. 22, 2022, concerning Biden’s economic strategy and inflation causing gasoline, food, housing, utilities, etc., to surge: Pres. Biden said, “Our strategy is working.” The NWO he supports is for everyone to own nothing, and it looks like it is working.) Five, also concerning the decline of America: on Mar. 21, 2022, it was reported that U.S. Sec. of State Blinken requested a meeting with Saudi Arabia and the UAE to discuss energy prices, and both governments refused to receive him. Six, on Mar. 20, 2022, it was reported that the International Energy Agency (IEA) wants world leaders to ban the use of cars in cities on Sundays, limit the kinds of vehicles that can be driven on certain days, impose a tax on SUV’s, reduce speed limits, and more to achieve climate change goals. If the climate change fanatics get their way, everyone will be poor, most will have to walk, and the population of the earth will be greatly reduced. Seven, concerning the division of Israel and the Battle of Armageddon (Joel 3:2): on Mar. 15, 2022, the U.S. Ambassador to Israel said Israel’s construction of homes in Judea and Samaria is “infuriating” and “stupid.” He said he tried to stop some recent construction that would connect Maale Adumim to Jerusalem but could not. He said, “We can’t have the Israelis doing settlement growth in East Jerusalem or the West Bank.” For whatever it is worth, God made an everlasting covenant to give East Jerusalem and the West Bank to the Jews (Gen. 17:7-8). God also promised to bless those that bless Israel and to curse those that curse Israel (Gen. 12:2-3). Putin is not the only thing that is coming to an end; the U.S., the NWO, and the end of efforts to divide Israel will come too. Eight, concerning earthquakes increasing in frequency and intensity at the end of the age: on Mar. 16, 2022, a 7.3 earthquake struck near the same location as the 2011 earthquake and tsunami that damaged the nuclear reactors at Fukushima, Japan. The quake caused power outages, cracks and broken windows in a few buildings, and the derailment of a high-speed bullet train. But for the most part, the injuries and damage were light. Nine, concerning the ability to track everyone on earth: on Mar. 16, 2022, two computer scientists wrote an article saying, “Billions of digital devices (inside your TV, home, office, vehicles, refrigerator, etc.) are scanning and sensing your movements every day.” According to these men, in 2018 (about 4 years ago), there were about 22 billion internet-connected devices in the world, and by 2030 there will be more than 50 billion internet-connected devices in the world. The ability to track everyone is now a fact. Ten, also concerning the ability to track everyone: on Mar. 9, 2022, Pres. Biden signed an executive order giving government agencies six months to consider the establishment of a digital currency (some officials say it is already a done deal). A digital currency can be tracked, used to monitor what people buy and sell, and turned into a weapon to control what people buy and sell. Economist Steve Forbes called it “an ugly power grab by Big Government.” Simply put, it is a surveillance scheme that will likely lead to the Mark of the Beast, and about half the world appears ready to get on board now. Eleven, concerning corruption and deceit: on Mar. 16, 2022, after 17 months of lies, denials and censorship by the Democrats, mainstream media, social media, etc., The New York Times finally confirmed that the Laptop from Hell belongs to Hunter Biden and the incriminating e-mails are authentic. Some believe the corruption and deceit were deliberately carried out to impact the 2020 election, and the wrong man, the head of the Biden crime family, was declared the winner. A big question is, “Why is The New York Times admitting the Biden family’s criminal activities now?” Are some Democrats thinking about replacing Pres. Biden? Twelve, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: in late Feb. 2022, Russia’s deputy ambassador to the UN told the UN Security Council that Russia does not agree with Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem, including West Jerusalem and the Golan Heights. On Mar. 16. 2022, it was reported that a Russian military patrol was spotted near the Golan Heights in Syria. Finally, are you Rapture Ready? God has a calendar that is very different from the calendar that our society uses, and that calendar can be found in the Bible. All throughout history, important historical events have happened during extremely significant times on God’s calendar, and I believe that there is a very good chance that this upcoming Biblical year will be a critical turning point. The first day of the first month on the modern Jewish calendar begins at sundown on Friday. It is commonly known as “the first of Nisan”, but of course Nisan is a Babylonian name that was adopted by the Jewish people during the Babylonian exile. In the Torah, the first month of the year was always called “Aviv”… Exodus 13:4 – “On this day, you are going out, in the month of Aviv.” Exodus 23:15 – “You shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread. For seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, in the appointed time of the month Aviv, for in it you came out from Egypt. No one shall appear before Me empty-handed.” Exodus 34:18 – “You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. For seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, in the month of Aviv, for in the month of Aviv you came out of Egypt.” Deuteronomy 16:1 – “Observe the month of Aviv and keep the Passover to the Lord your God, for in the month of Aviv the Lord your God brought you out of Egypt by night.” Aviv literally means “barley ripening”, and this month always falls in the spring. And in Exodus 12, we are specifically told that this month “shall be the beginning of months to you”… Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying: 2 This month shall be the beginning of months to you. It shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: On the tenth day of this month every man shall take a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for a household. 4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to what each man shall eat, divide the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats. 6 You shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month, and then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. 7 They shall take some of the blood and put it on the two side posts and on the upper doorpost of the houses in which they shall eat it. Today, the Jewish people recognize the first of Tishrei (Rosh Hashanah) as the day when the new year begins. But that doesn’t seem to make any sense. How can “New Year’s Day” fall on the first day of the seventh month? Needless to say, it wasn’t always this way. The Babylonian exile was a very painful time for the Jewish people, and many of their practices dramatically changed during this time. The following comes from an Israeli news source… We don’t know what the religious life of the Jews was like during the Babylonian exile. But we do know that by the time the Jews returned to Israel, and at the beginning of the Second Temple period (516 BCE), Jewish religious practices had profoundly changed compared with the pre-exile era. For one, the names of the months that we use to this very day are the Babylonian names. Tishrei for example is a Babylonian month whose name derives from the Akkadian word tishritu – “beginning.” And that same Israeli news source explains that the first of Tishrei was one of the times when the Babylonians celebrated “New Year’s Day”… In addition, the Babylonians took their New Year’s Day celebrations very seriously. They called the holiday Akitu (from the Sumerian word for barley) and Resh Shattim, the Akkadian equivalent of the Hebrew Rosh Hashanah. This was celebrated twice a year, at the beginning of Tishrei and the beginning of Nisan, and lasted for 12 days. Of course the first day of the seventh month does have significance in the Bible too. It is the Feast of Trumpets, and it is extremely important. But it is not the beginning of the year. The reason why I went through all of that is because the next “Shemitah cycle” (some render it “Shmita cycle”) is about to begin. In modern times, most rabbis teach that the Shemitah cycle begins on Rosh Hashanah, and most Christians that teach on these things just go along with the rabbis. If you are not familiar with the concept of the “Shemitah cycle”, here is some background information from Wikipedia… The sabbath year (shmita; Hebrew: שמיטה, literally “release”), also called the sabbatical year or shǝvi’it (שביעית, literally “seventh”), or “Sabbath of The Land”, is the seventh year of the seven-year agricultural cycle mandated by the Torah in the Land of Israel and is observed in Judaism. During shmita, the land is left to lie fallow and all agricultural activity, including plowing, planting, pruning and harvesting, is forbidden by halakha (Jewish law). Other cultivation techniques (such as watering, fertilizing, weeding, spraying, trimming and mowing) may be performed as a preventive measure only, not to improve the growth of trees or other plants. Additionally, any fruits or herbs which grow of their own accord and where no watch is kept over them are deemed hefker (ownerless) and may be picked by anyone.[2] A variety of laws also apply to the sale, consumption and disposal of shmita produce. All debts, except those of foreigners, were to be remitted.[3] Chapter 25 of the Book of Leviticus promises bountiful harvests to those who observe the shmita, and describes its observance as a test of religious faith. Modern-day farmers in Israel have seen this happen, with bountiful crops in the 6th year as well as the 8th year. As Jonathan Cahn detailed in The Mystery Of The Shemitah, for centuries these cycles have been tied to key historical events. Most Jewish sources believe that the current Shemitah cycle ends in 2022, and 2022 has definitely been quite a year so far. But I should note that there is not universal agreement on the correct timing of the Shemitah cycles. But if the current Shemitah cycle does end in 2022, that also means that the next Shemitah cycle also begins in 2022. Like I noted earlier, it is commonly taught that Rosh Hashanah is “New Year’s Day”, and therefore it is nearly universally assumed that the Shemitah cycle begins on Rosh Hashanah. But the Bible says that the first of Aviv is the first day of the year, and I believe that it is also the day when the Shemitah cycle actually starts. So if I am correct, the next Shemitah cycle could literally begin Friday at sundown. One of the reasons why this is so important is because many people believe that “Daniel’s 70th week” must correspond with a Shemitah cycle. The Bible does not explicitly say that this is the case, and so we can’t be too dogmatic about it either way. If you are interested in an extended look at why “Daniel’s 70th week” could correspond with a Shemitah cycle, I would check out the presentation that Pastor Mark Biltz has done. If you have not seen it yet, you can find it right here. If “Daniel’s 70th week” does correspond with a Shemitah cycle, that has enormous implications. In the short-term, that could mean that the “7 Year Apocalypse” is approaching very rapidly, or it could mean that we still have quite a while before it arrives. Either way, the Bible instructs us to be watchful for signs of Christ’s return. Throughout all of human history, God’s calendar has been prophetic, and I am entirely convinced that will continue to be the case during the times in which we currently live. I tried to get my mind around how near we might be to the time Israel will fall for the False Messiah, Antichrist. The words of Winston Churchill came to mind in his 1942 speech at Mansion House in London. England had just survived Hitler’s Blitz and the horrific bombing. Rommel’s tank onslaught in Egypt had just been routed by the forces of Great Britain and others at Alamein. People wanted to know how near they were to the end of the world war they were agonizingly enduring. Churchill was greatly encouraged because of the turn of the conflict’s direction. He said the following in his typical eloquent mastery of the moment and of the English language. Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning. People are constantly asking about when all of this will end and when the Lord will take us home. Thinking on the writing, as I say, and studying the deluge of events and issues of prophetic significance bombarding us, I was impressed that we are now not at the end. Prophecy is not yet in a state of fulfillment, as far the final prophecies. It isn’t even the beginning of the end—i.e., Jesus said, “there will be wars and rumors of wars, but the end is not yet.” But we are, maybe, bumping up against the very end of this pre-Trib time of the beginning of fulfillment of end-times prophecy. So, like Churchill said about World War II, we are, perhaps, at the end of this age and at the beginning of fulfillment of the last of end-times prophecy about to unfold. I mean, of course, that it is the Rapture of the Church that will bring that beginning of end-time prophecies. There is no prophetic fulfillment given to precede the Rapture. The caveat is that Israel being once again a nation—and one at the center of controversies involving all nations—is a prophecy at least partially fulfilled at this point. And that’s what we’re looking at here: the matter of Israel being at the center of things involving the world’s nation-states. We all know the awful things transpiring in Ukraine, such as the loss of life and the carnage inflicted by Russia’s invasion. Alternate news sites are telling the full story that the mainstream media most often will not. For example, these alternate sources have reported that the Russian soldiers are sometimes laying down their weapons, defecting, and returning home to Russia. For some reason, such facts don’t fit the narrative of the traditional news media. Also, I’ve noticed a tremendous difference between reports of the majority of Russian people being against the invasion and the mainstream news reporting that polls taken in Russia show the Russian people are wholeheartedly in favor of the invasion. It is almost impossible to get the full story. However, one thing becoming clear is the powers that constitute the New World Order—the globalists elite—have become exceedingly concerned about Vladimir Putin’s strategy to reconstruct the way business is done with regard to how and to whom oil and gas are bought and sold. It seems that NATO, Biden, the European Union, and most every Western Hemisphere globalist principality are now chomping at the bit to do battle with Russia. All it took to begin talk of moving troops near the battle was for Mr. Putin to say he intends to make all who want Russian oil and gas to deal in rubles, the Russian currency unit. That did it. Putin’s obvious strategy to diminish or even destroy the petrodollar as the chief exchange system in petroleum transactions made guys like Sen. Lindsey Graham want to go to war—even if nuclear—with the Russkis. The hawks have their feathers ruffled. Putin garnering most of the oil and gas business is too much to bear, as it is said. It is quite interesting to see how Putin, whom many in the diplomatic circles are calling a madman, has completely out-strategized them all. Even America, after shutting down the pipelines, has to now look to Russia, as does Europe. It’s either deal with Russia and with rubles, or go without. Biden has even begged Venezuela to release more oil for sale. But the dictator Nicolás Maduro, like the oil sheiks of Saudi, has refused to even talk with the president of the United States. Instead, they are more and more joining the Russian/Chinese economic model and are weaning from the American/European petrodollar conglomerate that has ruled the petroleum industry worldwide for so long. Here’s where I hope to go with this. It is postulation, to be certain, but it is an interesting direction of thought, in considering the nation Israel and its strategic positioning—His chosen nation put there by the Lord Himself. Europe is now at the mercy of Vladimir Putin and the Russian consortium that includes China and now other petroleum powers like Saudi Arabia. The oil and gas crisis will not only involve Europe freezing in the winter, but will inflict collateral damage to food production. The US is now, as I see it, almost supernaturally paralyzed because of this administration being run by the green insanity that shut down the gas and oil pipelines. I’m not sure the Lord will even allow such thinking to come to a rational decision to reopen these conduits, so reprobate they are because of turning their backs on Him. Now here is my thinking involving Israel. Israel now has, it has been determined, tremendous oil and gas reserves, including in the Golan area, which Vlad has said is no longer Israel’s sovereign territory. There are vast such reserves, as I understand, beneath Israel’s territorial waters of the Mediterranean. It is possible, without too much stretch of imagination—to suggest that the Western alliance—Europe and America—will pour whatever money and resources necessary into funding the swift development of Israel’s petroleum industry to enhance their capability of beginning to provide the West with the Jewish State’s newly acquired oil and gas assets. This would: 1) make sure Europe doesn’t starve or freeze; and 2) make sure the American and European financial masters in the petrodollar system of sales and distribution continue to make their billions. This, the way I see it, could be why President Biden recently read the line that a New World Order must develop. He followed that up by saying “America must lead in this” (the New World Order). If this eventuates, with the harshest possible sanctions imposed by the New World Order at the same time driving Russia’s economic plight into ruin, such a development could start Putin or a future Russian leader thinking the “evil thought” Ezekiel foretold. As we’ve mentioned, Putin has already told the world he considers the Golan (the mountains of Israel) to be no longer the nation’s sovereign territory. The New World Order is already in place and raring to go to war. These economic globalists elite oligarchs are the humanist part of the Ephesians 6:12 wrestling match in which we as Christians are engaged. They could well be the end-times catalyst in bringing about the Gog-Magog fulfillment, the appearance of Antichrist, and the start of the prophesied seven years of hell on earth. To avoid being here when God unleashes His wrath and judgment on the evil corruption every direction we look, the following is God’s way to soul-saving grace. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. If you live on a fixed income and you drive a car, things may feel especially dicey right now. At the time of this writing, the average price for a gallon of gas in Los Angeles just rose to over $6 a gallon. What is the government’s answer? US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is an official representative of your government, and he has a simple answer. Buy an electric car. His solution reminds me of something often attributed to Marie Antoinette, the last queen of France before their Revolution. When told that the peasants were starving for lack of bread, she supposedly answered, “Let them eat cake.” Well sure. If there’s not enough bread, eat cake. If gas prices are too high, go buy an electric car. The average price of an electric car is about $60,000. But so what? Okay, there is a shortage of both new and used cars, but you might find one if you are willing to pay far enough above list price. The US electric grid is not capable of supplying the power needed to charge millions of new electric vehicles. But at least, you wouldn’t be in line at the gas station. Security cannot be found in our human institutions. Education has shifted away from teaching literacy and basic math skills. Now they teach young people that they are so mentally and emotionally handicapped that they can only succeed if the government grants them success. But, as we have seen, government is not doing too well. Entertainment has become mired in bitterness, revenge, and self-loathing. Industry is no longer about innovation and optimism, but about staying politically correct. Survival for them no longer means building great products. It means making sure the elites don’t get mad at you. You can’t trust money because there’s no guarantee of its continued value. The same is true of precious metals like gold and silver. And so it goes. Economic, military, medical, psychological, and educational upheavals are shaking the institutions of this world to their core. They hold no guarantee of security! But God remains. He does not change. He rules in love. He always keeps His promises. He never fails. Even your body will one day fail. But He will not. And if you are in Him, you stand eternally secure. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, a blind woman named Frances Jane Crosby Alstyne shook the world with her pen. Better known as Fanny Crosby, she wrote well over 8,000 hymns and gospel songs. They include many favorites. But one stands out. The first line begins with the hymn’s two-word title, then adds three more words. “Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine.” How could she say so much in five simple words? Every generation faces uncertainties. But what the world now faces is unique in a hundred different ways. More than ever, we need to remember the blessed assurance found in Jesus. He is our Rock (1 Corinthians 10:4), our Redeemer (Isaiah 41:14, Titus 2:14), and our Creator (John 1:3). He is the Foundation (1 Corinthians 3:11), the Way (John 14:6), and the Door (John 10:9). He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end (Revelation 1:8). He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is the Holy One of Israel (Isaiah 41:14). He is Lord of lords and King of kings (Revelation 17:14). And in Him, you can have perfect peace no matter how great the storm. In all that you face, remember Him, His faithfulness, and His love. It is a war unlike any faced before in history. This is a war where the intent is to create enough casualties to take over the economic wealth without destroying the wealth generating power and by establishing collectivism. This is accomplished by population reduction and control of the remaining populace. The perfect facilitator was Obama’s socialized medicine where government dictates the ebb and flow of life and death through 1) control of the treatment protocols, 2) leverage over the healthcare providers, and 3) control of the population through fear of death. It is a war within. The perfect collaborators are unethical and cooperative corporations motivated by greed and a corporate media to fearmonger, censor dissent, and create social disruption motivated by a socialist political agenda. There are willing dupes on the extreme left and right that drive unfounded conspiracy narratives that tend to paralyze the general population from taking action. But make no mistake, every crisis is a preamble to reduce freedom. COVID gave the government precedent to lockdown your ability to freely move and interact; allowed the government and the media to censor both those who objected, and doctors and scientists who challenged the government mandates of treatment. Now the crisis in Ukraine is given way to price increases that further limit individual freedoms. Good citizens are confused and disillusioned, limited by having to suspend their disbelief that this war is real and active. Notwithstanding, pockets of resistance are beginning to take shape. There is push back against mandates. Doctors and scientists are finding their footing and beginning to counter the propaganda against people’s health fears. These efforts presently lack a cohesive strategy and coordinated approach which is further frustrated by censorship and demonization. Countermeasures are growing, but will continue to be fragmented until they reach some formation of critical mass. Time is both the enemy and the ally from the standpoint that truth takes time to expose, and the strong-armed are moving aggressively. If it’s not COVID, it’s another crisis. Government bureaucrats and politicians perpetuate their attack on liberty through the lifeblood of crisis. They never stop. Think about how the Islamic crisis curtailed American freedom with the Patriot Act, the provisions of which are rarely sunset. The precedent of COVID restrictions will be with us forever, even though the policies were an abject failure. Joe Biden’s off-script remarks about Russian dictator Vladimir Putin create even more turmoil, but it is not lost on the power grabbers. America is at war from within. Good citizens need to realize this and form a resistance of truth tellers. As Christ said in John 8:32, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” The way to counter darkness is with light. Counter propaganda with truth, not rumor, conspiracy theories, wishful thinking, but truth. In Matthew 15, we read of Jesus specifically commenting on the faith of someone who didn’t have the privilege of walking and talking with Him, hearing His great teaching, or seeing His powerful miracles. More to the point, she was a Canaanite, and she had a demon-possessed daughter. She was the mother who wouldn’t give up, because nothing would stop her from getting to Jesus. However, she didn’t come to Him with demands but instead begged for mercy (see Matthew 15:21 NLT). Jesus knew that she had amazing faith, and He wanted to draw her faith out. So, He put up a hurdle, if you will. He said, “I was sent only to help God’s lost sheep—the people of Israel” (verse 24 NLT). But she wouldn’t take no for an answer. Again, she asked Him for help, and He told her, “It isn’t right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs” (verse 26 NLT). In the original language Jesus used a word for “dogs” that we could translate “puppies.” She could have been offended, but I think she knew exactly what was going on. She replied, “That’s true, Lord, but even dogs are allowed to eat the scraps that fall beneath their masters’ table” (verse 27 NLT). She easily cleared the hurdle, and Jesus told her, “Dear woman, your faith is great. Your request is granted” (verse 28 NLT). The door was shut in her face, but this woman kept on knocking. She wouldn’t give up. She wasn’t going home without an answer. Her story serves as a reminder that no matter what, we need to bring our problems to Jesus.
