“ Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” (Matthew 5:10-12)
 
21”And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.” (Matthew 10:21-24)

When I was growing up, I never occurred to me of all the persecution that goes on in the world. To me it was just history and really didn't concern a growing boy in the Midwest. I often wondered, “why would anyone persecute another person, just because they believed in Jesus Christ”. It was very puzzling to me.
 
I knew about historical persecution that has been with us for the last 2000 years, since the Roman Empire and I knew that the early Christians were slain because it was perceived that their exclusive religion was a threat to the balance of power within their rule.
 
It wasn't because these new “Christians” as they were come to be called, were introducing a new god to their already many pagan gods that they worshiped. They knew about many gods that came and were borrowed from the Greeks. They just changed the names that were more popular to their own culture. Most of the time, the Romans were happy to add more gods to their pantheon of religious observances. The more the merrier. They adapted from other cultures including Greek art and literature, and historical myths.
 
So to the pagan Romans, another god, just didn't make much difference, as the Romans extended their rule throughout the Mediterranean and policy was just to absorb the local deities and cults of other people they conquered, rather than eradicate them.
 
Rome never felt obligated to promote one pagan god over another, or accept one particular cult. They were a very religious people, although blind to the truth, they were tolerant of other people's beliefs. They actually believed that their devotion to these gods, were the reason why they were able to conquer most of the known world. They based their religion on knowledge, prayer to these gods, and ritual sacrifices, rather than faith and doctrine.
 
So why did the Roman Empire turn against those who proclaimed Jesus Christ as their only God? Because Christians were not like the rest of religious Rome. They promoted the belief in One True God that provided them all things. And that is where the problem AROSE from. If Jehovah God was the One True God, that meant that the rest of their gods were false. They didn't have rituals, but relied on prayer and faith.
 
Jesus claimed He was the only God, and that “No man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”
 
It logically follows then, that the Roman polytheist was doomed, according to Christian theology. The population in those days found that sort of doctrine threatening, even hateful. In fact, that was the charge under which they were persecuted -- they called it a hate crime. Hmmm...where have I heard that before?
 
Now how could this be? The fact is, the claims of any Christian in the time period made it the enemy of every other belief structure promoted on earth.
 
Why is that? Because, according to Jesus, any worship of any other god, idol, or anything in creation was in fact, worshiping of the devil. Satan was the cause of the persecution that resulted from those who embraced and made Jesus Christ the center of their religion and we know Satan hates anything to do with Jesus Christ.
 
Remember what Jesus said concerning pagan worship, and the worship of false gods?
 
"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household." (Matthew 10:34-36)
 
ROME MAKES A QUICK DRESS CHANGE
 
When the Roman Empire imploded and was taken over by the new Caesars who renamed themselves “popes” and changed their soldier uniform for a robe and fish hat known as the miter, modeled after the fish god Dagon, persecution continued unabated and surpassed the level of persecution that the Roman Empire committed by millions. The amount of those who died at the hands of the “holy” Roman Empire, known then as the so called “church” has risen from 50 million on up, but you will find the priest of today who attempt to minimize the amount of carnage and try and justify the amount slain as insignificant. When is even one life killed out of desire for complete control and power, a minimal incident? Not to mention that one person was over 50 million people or more. This carnage continued to include the Protestant Reformation when many of their priest and followers became fed up with their “terrorism” of the population who would not follow the letter of their “law”.
 
FALL OF THE “HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE”
 
The fall of this Gnostic religion came at the hands of a general in Napolean Bonaparte's siege of Rome, including the Vatican when in 1809, Pope Pius VII was held prisoner at Castle Savona at Genoa, and was taken to France in the cold winter and left outside for days outside its gates. Thus the papacy was broken.
 
Not until the United States Constitution First enumerated freedom under the Bill of Rights, protecting freedom of religion, did persecution take a downward trend. As those who came to this country were looking for religious freedom and ability to worship God however they chose.
 
America had not known religious persecution during my years of growing up, but all that is slowing changing in our modern times as Christianity is numbered along with terrorist groups, especially Fundamental Christianity as a hate crime group. In the past, Christianity was the default religion of this nation, so no protection was needed, because our Constitution guaranteed those rights, but all of that is becoming history.
 
We see Christian businesses that refuse to lower their Christian beliefs to accommodate unbiblical behavior, whether it be same sex marriage, homosexuality, or anything that goes against a Christian's beliefs. Was a time that no one thought of marriage as anything but one man, one woman for life. But as the divorce rate has sky rocketed, and life of anyone from the womb to the grave was not deemed sacred, then the nation, this nation has gone further down the road to political and religious ruin.
 
In the election of 2016, the Christians of this nation finally woke up and saw the peril this nation was in, and their choices were limited to two candidates, one former first lady who was an obvious criminal and not fit to be voted as POTUS, and another who although not perfect, as he had many things in his past that the liberal left has tried to sway the opinion of America, as they just could not believe that their democrat darling would not be elected and continue the past administration slide to a one world government and our abdicating our sovereignty for a one world coalition through the United Nations. But thank the Lord, the right man got into the White House....You could love him, or hate him, he had a vision to make American Great Again, and no one can say that he didn't begin just that in the last year and the first year of his presidency.
 
I truly believe, that POTUS Trump slowed the downhill slide of this nation, at least temporarily and has become a staunch friend of our only ally in the Middle East that is a democratic government. I remember what God said to Abraham when He made him promises concerning his coming offspring who would become as numerous as the stars of heaven.
 
2 “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3, And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (Genesis 12:2-3)
 
Because of our becoming a friend of Israel, the blessing came to this nation, if and I say if, Trump steered clear of dividing Israel for any reason. God will bless us, if we bless Israel. Anytime that Israel was put into a corner, or action taken trying to take land away from God's people (in past presidents), which is God's land, catastrophe hit these shores. It's high time that we treat Israel for what she is. Many ask me why I support Trump. I believe even though he is flawed, (but aren't we all) God used him to further benefits to Israel and defend her. He was even a modern day King Cyrus for the near future benefit of God's people and His land. That is until God pulls everyone out of the way for the Gog-Magog war, but I believe that happens in the coming Tribulation.
 
THE COMING PERSECUTION IN THE TRIBULATION
 
As we wind down this age, called in the religious community, “the Age of Grace, or the Age of the Church”, the return of Jesus Christ becomes more apparent, but as we don't know the exact time of His return things could get rather dangerous in the coming years. The label of being a Christian Fundamentalist could be the most dangerous label to affix to any person having the misfortune of living through the horrific time known as the Tribulation.
 
But what is a Christian Fundamentalist? It is a person or persons who stand for the fundamental doctrines found in your Bible and are believed by faith.
 
By the turn of the 20th century, American theological conservatives had identified five basic Christian fundamentals which most of you will recognize from the my basic statement of faith:
 
-The Divine Authorship, inspiration and authority of Scripture.
-The Virgin Birth of Christ.
-The Atoning Work of the Cross.
-The historical reality of Jesus Christ and His earthly ministry.
-The historical reality of Jesus' bodily resurrection and ascension.
 
If one holds to those five basic Christian truths, then one is a Christian fundamentalist and therefore, a "intolerant hater" that the Department of Homeland Security considers a threat to national security. But only Christian fundamentalism is viewed by the federal government as a threat. They are the ones that advocate the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem and are against dividing God's land, including Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The secular world is going awash again for antisemitism and being against the only people that God has called “His people”
 
They have believed the promises of God when speaking of Israel and supports Israel's right to exist and to defend herself. To the Christian community this belief exist in their doctrine as well as in their politics. And as we know, the world hates us for that.
 
This position will not be tolerated in the coming Tribulation, as the horrors that abounded in the Middle Ages will return on steroids headed by a man they call the False Prophet and promoting the Anti-Christ. As Jesus told His apostles in Matthew 24.
 
15 “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matthew 24:15-24)
 
Here Jesus was speaking to Jewish men relating what will happen to their nation in the end of days. In this chapter, the focus is on Israel, not on any other people, but this terror will spread to all other religions who do not bow the knee to the same Gnostic Church that inhabited the Middle Ages, and will come to power once again, all but for a brief flash of their former glory, which will end in flames.
 
To be a Jew or a Christian in this horrifying 7 years will be an immediate death sentence. As we read the book of Revelation, we don't know exactly when the mark of the Beast will be poured out on the people of the Book, and the remnant who come to belief in Jesus Christ, but the book of Revelation gives us a good clue what will happen.
 
2- “And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
3- And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.”(Revelation 15:2-3)
 
“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.”(Revelation 14:1-4)
 
There are many verses in this apocalyptic book that gives an impression of mass executions, although the last two passages quoted remind me of those who are Jewish by birth, but there are others that speak of worldwide persecution of all who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
 
“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, "A servant is not greater than his master." If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.” (John 15:18-21)
 
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” (Revelation20:4)
 
THE RAPTURE IS IMMINENT
 
But as we learned in the past series of the study of Revelation, the True Church of the Living God who believes by faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ will not be on this earth to see the culmination of the most horrific time in all of man's evil history. The Bible is full of verses that support that even though we have tribulation on this earth every day, we are not subject to the WRATH OF GOD, we have to put our faith and trust in the only Way, the Truth and the Life, back to God our Father in heaven. Let us quote just a few, that says that the coming persecution of the Christians and Jews during this coming Tribulation of 7 years will not touch us.
 
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ”, (1st Thessalonians 5:9)
 
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:7-10)
 
“19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” (Isaiah 26:19-21)
 
Jesus proclaimed our coming reward and a companion verse, I believe of the above passage.....
 
“ Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.” (John 14:2-4)
 
Note that is coming for us and bringing us to Him where He is right now...not Him coming to us on this planet.
 
What is the way? I will tell you in a moment........
 
And a big one, in just a short verse tells us that the True Church of the Living God will NOT see the coming wrath of God that starts in chapter 6 of Revelation when Jesus opens the first seal for the title deed of all Creation.
 
“10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” (Revelation 3:10-11)
 
The above verses giving a Divine promise from our Lord and Redeemer that the church will not see any portion of God's Wrath. As I have mentioned in the past, the phrase in Revelation 3:10, “Keep thee from” is a Greek word “EK” is translated “out of being separated from the event by time and space” not through the Tribulation as some believe, but removed from its having anything to do with God's Church.
 
Sadly, on earth, tribulation has overcome those who still live. They either take the “mark of the beast” whenever it is foisted upon the people, or reject it and pay their rejection with their lives. How do I know that the church is not on earth, besides the obvious verses above? Jesus told us,
 
33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
 
Each person on this earth that belongs to Jesus Christ, has a deposit, an earnest of the Holy Spirit residing within himself, or herself. Satan cannot overcome the Holy Spirit, so this side of the Tribulation, the Church who follows after Jesus Christ cannot be overcome by Satan . But wait a minute, the coming of the Anti-Christ says he will overcome the saints?
 
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” (Revelation 13:7)
 
If Satan cannot overcome the church while they are indwelt by God's Holy Spirit, then the only explanation, is that the Tribulation saints have no such guarantee. They are not sealed as the Church is and has been. They must guard their salvation at every event that comes against them. But on the flip, if God allows us to overcome within the church, then how can Satan overcome us, or has the Holy Spirit been removed and left us defenseless as Paul told us?
 
6 “ And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,” (2nd Thessalonians 2:6-9)
 
Since Jesus only spoke truth, then He will not leave us defenseless and if the AC can't overcome those with God's Holy Spirit seal on their lives, then it further proves, the church is not on this earth. Only those who accept Jesus as Savior, after the Holy Spirit is pulled back to Pre-Pentecostal times will allowed to be overcome by the Anti-Christ and Satan. Pre-Trib Christians cannot be overcome.
 
TRIBULATION ON THE HORIZON
 
Make no mistake about it, reader. Tribulation and its persecution is coming. It will make what that Gnostic Church did in the Middle Ages pale in comparison. Not to mention all the plagues, and destruction from God's wrath raining down on the nations who are in rebellion against a Holy God. Those judgments begin starting in verse 1 of Revelation chapter 6. At that time, God has been most patient, but the judgments grow stronger and stronger in an ever crescendo type of judgment, as God attempts to turn men to repentance and give Him glory. But sadly, millions will not and will swim in their idolatry and unrighteousness. When it becomes clear that the remnant of mankind that is left on the earth cannot be redeemed, Jesus will come and finish wiping this planet clean of all human life that are in rebellion against Him. (Revelation 19:11-15)...it will be as in the days of Noah, but instead of water, it will be by fire.
 
WHERE WILL YOU BE IN ALL THIS?
 
Will you escape what is coming upon the earth? Will you be able to claim VICTORY in Jesus?? Frankly, you will not with the coming judgments of God's wrath and the depravity of sinful men who take human life indiscriminately, unless you repent and turn to Jesus. How can a person get this victory? By believing on the One whom God hath sent.
 
28 “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” (John 6:28-29)
 
That's the key, my friend. Jesus has already come to this earth. He has already paid the price for your salvation. Jesus is at the right hand of the Father now, just waiting for the go ahead and come to bring God's Children home, and His own bride. Will you be among them? Or will you succumb to the wrath and worldwide death that men will bring upon humanity, and the wrath of God who slays rebellious mankind as grapes are crushed in the winepress? I would say that it is an easy choice, if you know your destination. That destination would be heaven in acceptance or hell in rebellion. I call on those who believe that this world is headed for sure destruction, to come to Jesus while you have the chance in this life, as there is NO OTHER chance once death sweeps over your face. How do you receive Jesus in this life? Glad you asked?
 
16 “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” (John 3:16-19)
 
Then out of sheer joy, you wish to tell others. Tell your loved ones, tell your friends, tell your co-workers, or anyone you happen to meet. Jesus said, “if you deny Me before men, I will deny you before my Father in heaven”....Tell everyone.
 
8 “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” (Romans 10:8-11)
 
The END of this age is right in front of you...you only have a short time left, should you live, to make a decision for Jesus Christ, as you, and none of us are promised even tomorrow. Jesus could come tonight, so we must be ready at all times. I ask you......ARE YOU READY?
 
Persecution during the tribulation is just over the horizon or right around the corner. It's close, very close.

The answer to my title question from the viewpoint of world politics is an emphatic “No”! And the reasons are painfully obvious:
 

• Israel is a tiny country the size of New Jersey with a Jewish population of only 7 million. It is surrounded by 22 Arab countries with a population in excess of 350 million, nearly all of whom are dedicated to the annihilation of Israel.
• The Arab military forces adjacent to Israel now have sophisticated missiles, which they are willing to use indiscriminately.
• Iran (a non-Arab neighbor) has missiles capable of reaching Israel and is developing nuclear capacity. Its leaders have announced repeatedly that as soon as they produce a nuclear bomb, they will use it to annihilate Israel.
• The world’s major international organizations (the United Nations, the European Union, and the Vatican) are all committed to forcing Israel to surrender her heartland to the Arabs, leaving the country only 19 miles wide at its narrowest point.
• The same organizations are demanding that Israel surrender all or half of her capital city of Jerusalem.
• The world’s two superpowers, the United States and Russia, have joined the rest of the world in demanding the creation of a Palestinian state in the heartland of Israel, a state that would become a terrorist launching pad for the takeover of all of Israel.
• The people of Israel have grown war-weary after 74 years of never-ending hostilities.
• Many of the current leaders of Israel have grown corrupt and have lost the Zionist vision. And some of the most corrupt are religious leaders who will sell their souls for a shekel.
• The secularization of Israeli society has produced a loss of faith in God and in the truths of their religion, which, in turn, has generated an attitude of defeatism.
• Both the people of Israel and their leaders have embraced a policy of appeasement that only whets the appetite of the Arabs and encourages them to press harder for more and more Israeli capitulations.
• And so, understandably, from the world’s viewpoint, the annihilation of Israel is only a matter of time.

 
GOD’S PROTECTION
 
But there is a supernatural Power of Protection at work here that the world does not recognize nor understand. They should, because that Power, our Creator God, has manifested Himself on behalf of the Jewish people throughout history.
 
In the Bible, we read of empire after empire coming against Israel — the Hittites, the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Greeks, and the Romans — yet, where are these empires today? They are all in the dustbin of history; whereas the Jews are back in their homeland with their own nation-state.
 
Likewise, in modern times, since the re-establishment of the state of Israel, the enemies of the Jews have come against them time after time in efforts to destroy them. In fact, the Jewish state has fought at least a dozen wars since 1948, and the periods between the wars have been times of extreme tension due to unending terrorist attacks.
 
Yet, despite all this never-ceasing violence, Israel has survived. The reason, of course, is that the Bible says, “He who keeps Israel, neither slumbers nor sleeps” (Psalm 121:4).
 
THE CRUCIAL QUESTION
 
But what about the future? Does Israel have any hope? Again, the world would answer with a resounding “No!” But what does the Bible say?
 
Well, my friends, it says just the opposite. The Bible portrays some dark days ahead for Israel, but it also asserts that Israel will come through those days victorious. Let’s take a look at the dark days that are prophesied.
 
DARK DAYS AHEAD
 
1) The War of Extermination
 
Psalm 83 states that the immediate neighbors of Israel will launch a war for the purpose of “wiping out Israel as a nation” (verse 4). The nations described as being a part of this nefarious effort are those with a common border with Israel today (verses 6-8) — Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Gaza.
 
The second half of the psalm is a prayer for the victory of Israel (verses 9-18). The war’s outcome is not specifically stated, but we know from other scriptures that Israel will be victorious.
 
For example, Zechariah 12:6 says that in the end times Israel will be like “a firepot among pieces of wood and a flaming torch among sheaves, so they will consume on the right hand and on the left all the surrounding peoples…”
 
Continuing, the prophet further asserts (Zechariah 12:8-9):
 
“In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who is feeble among them in that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the LORD before them. And in that day I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.”
 
Prophecy scholar Bill Salus believes this war of annihilation will boomerang on the Arabs and will result in their overwhelming defeat, producing great territorial expansion and enhanced national resources for Israel. It will also produce the security spoken of in Ezekiel 38, where it says that before the War of Gog & Magog, Israel will live in security. Incidentally, it is during this war that Israel will most likely destroy Damascus, in fulfillment of prophecies in Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49.
 
But the security provided by the Psalm 83 War will not last long because the Arab nations will most likely turn to their natural ally, Russia, and cry out for help — resulting in…
 
2) The War of Gog & Magog
 
This is the war of Ezekiel 38 and 39, where Russia comes down against Israel with certain specified Muslim allies. I believe the Russians will be delighted to respond to the Arab cry for help because they have always dreamed of taking the oil fields of the Middle East. They will, therefore, launch an invasion for the stated purpose of helping the Muslims destroy Israel. Their specific allies will involve the outer ring of Muslim states that surround Israel — all but Saudi Arabia.
 
I believe Russia’s unstated agenda will be to use the Arab invitation as an excuse to expand their sovereignty over all the Middle East. This ulterior motive is mentioned in Ezekiel 38:12, where it says the Russians will come “to capture spoil and to seize plunder.”
 
The invading armies will be supernaturally destroyed by God “on the mountains of Israel” (Ezekiel 39:4). The Lord will accomplish this destruction through earthquakes, pestilence, hail storms, fire, brimstone and battlefield confusion (Ezekiel 38:19-22). Even the Jewish people will recognize that the victory belongs to God, and many will open their hearts to Him (Ezekiel 38:23).
 
The Timing of Gog & Magog
 
The greatest mystery concerning this war is its timing. Most have placed it at the beginning of the Tribulation. Others delay its start to the middle of the Tribulation. But increasingly, in recent years, the tendency has been to place it before the beginning of the Tribulation.
 
The best discussion of timing that has yet been written can be found in Ron Rhodes’ book, Northern Storm Rising (2008). He concludes that it is most likely to occur 3½ years before the Tribulation begins.
 
His conclusion is based on the following reasoning. The Tribulation lasts seven years. Ezekiel 39:9 says the Jews will spend seven years burning the weapons they will capture when Russia and its allies are destroyed in the Battle of Gog and Magog (possibly nuclear fuel). Revelation 12 says the Jews will flee from the land into Jordan 3½ years into the Tribulation when the Antichrist tries to eradicate them. Therefore, the only way the Jews could spend seven years burning the weapons is for the war to begin 3½ years before the start of the Tribulation.
 
Rapture Question
 
This raises a question: Does this mean the wars of Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 and 39 must occur before the Rapture? Not at all. The Rapture could occur any time before, during, or after these wars.
 
Keep in mind that the Rapture is not what marks the beginning of the Tribulation. The Tribulation will begin when the Antichrist signs a peace treaty with Israel (Daniel 9:27). Several years could elapse between the Rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation.
 
3) The Unveiling of the Antichrist
 
The next dark moment for the Jewish people will occur in the middle of the Tribulation when the Antichrist comes to Jerusalem and declares himself to be God.
 
Up to that point in time, the Jews will have considered this man to be their political savior because he will initiate the Tribulation time period by guaranteeing the safety of Israel and allowing them to rebuild their Temple. But once he comes to their rebuilt Temple and declares himself to be God, the Jewish people will totally reject him, and he will respond with a vengeance.
 
Satan will inspire him to once again try to annihilate the Jewish people, picking up where Hitler left off. Many of those in Israel will flee to Jordan. The Antichrist will pursue them, but he will not be allowed into Jordan because this remnant of the Jews will be given supernatural protection by God.
 
The Antichrist will then launch a second worldwide Holocaust, and in the process, he will manage to kill two-thirds of the Jews remaining in Israel and around the world. We find this prophecy in Zechariah 13:8-9:
 
“It will come about in all the land,’ declares the LORD, ‘that two parts in it will be cut off and perish; but the third will be left in it. And I will bring the third part through the fire, refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them…’”
 
This is the reason that Jesus referred to the last half of the Tribulation as “the great tribulation” — not because this half will be worse than the first half, but because the wrath of Satan will be focused on the Jews.
 
So, the Antichrist will be very successful in his war against the Jews, but he will fail in his ultimate goal of annihilating all of them. For we are told repeatedly throughout the Scriptures that a great remnant of the Jews will live to the end of the Tribulation, at which time they will receive Yeshua as their Messiah.
 
THE GOOD NEWS
 
1) The Return of Jesus
 
The good news for the Jewish people does not start until the return of Jesus to this earth at the end of the seven years of Tribulation. After the Jews have come to the end of themselves, due to their unparalleled persecution during the second half of the Tribulation, Jesus will appear in the Heavens, and the remaining remnant will repent and accept Him as their Messiah.
 
Here’s how it was described in general by Moses before the children of Israel entered their Promised Land (Deuteronomy 4:30): “When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the latter days you will return to the LORD your God and listen to His voice.”
 
The prophet Zechariah describes it in greater detail (Zechariah 12:10): “I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.”
 
The climax of this great day is related in the next chapter (Zechariah 13:1): “In that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for impurity.”
 
Jesus Himself stated in Matthew 23:37-39 that He would not return to this earth until a remnant of the Jews were ready to receive Him as their Messiah.
 
2) Regathering in Belief
 
When Jesus returns, all believing Jews on planet Earth will be regathered to Jerusalem. The current regathering is in unbelief. This one at the end of the Tribulation will be a regathering in belief. This regathering is mentioned in several places in the Hebrew Scriptures. Here’s one from the time of Moses (Deuteronomy 30:1-4):
 
“So it shall be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse… and you return to the LORD your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, then the LORD your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you. If your outcasts are at the ends of the earth, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you back.”
 
3) Primacy
 
We are then told in the Scriptures that Jesus will begin His millennial reign by establishing Israel as the prime nation of the world. Jesus will reign from Jerusalem as King of the World. David, in his glorified body, will reign as the King of Israel. Believers, in their glorified bodies, will be scattered across the earth to reign with Jesus over the Gentile nations.
 
Isaiah devotes three full chapters (60 thru 62) to a description of the blessings that God will pour out on the Jewish people during the Millennium. Just consider for a moment some of the blessings that Isaiah mentions:
 

• The Shekinah glory of the Lord will appear over the nation (Isaiah 60:2): “…the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear upon you.”
• Foreign aid will come from all the nations of the earth (Isaiah 60:5-6, 10, 16): “…The wealth of the nations will come to you. They will bring gold and frankincense…”
• Israel will be rebuilt (Isaiah 61:4): “Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, they will raise up the former devastations; and they will repair the ruined cities…”
• The Temple in Jerusalem will be beautified (Isaiah 60:7): “…I shall glorify My glorious house.”
• Israel will receive the respect of the nations for the first time in its history. Zechariah 8:23 says the Jews will be so respected that when one walks by, ten Gentiles will grab his robe so that they can walk with him. Isaiah puts it this way (Isaiah 60:2-3): “…The LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah adds (Isaiah 60:15): “Whereas you have been forsaken and hated with no one passing through, I will make you an everlasting pride, a joy from generation to generation.”
• The peace and joy of the nation will be guaranteed (Isaiah 60:17): “…I will make peace your administrators and righteousness your overseers.”
• The Jewish people will be a channel of blessings to all the nations (Isaiah 61:11): “For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.”
• The city of Jerusalem will be adorned with blessings (Isaiah 62:1-3, 7):

 
“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, and her salvation like a torch that is burning. The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; and you will be called by a new name which the mouth of the LORD will designate. You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God… And [God will make] Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”
 
And the reason for all of this is that the Lord will make the nation of Israel and the city of Jerusalem His home during His Millennial reign (Isaiah 60:13): “…I shall make the place [Jerusalem] of My feet glorious.” Ezekiel confirms this statement in Ezekiel 43:7 — “He said to me, ‘Son of man, this [Jerusalem] is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell among the sons of Israel forever.’”
 
GOD’S PROTECTION
 
Israel has some very difficult days ahead, but God has made wonderful promises to them that they can rely on:
 

• “Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep” (Psalm 121:4).
• “No weapon formed against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17).
• “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:8-16).

 
Our nation needs to pay attention to these promises of God. In recent years, we have put enormous pressure on Israel to follow a path of appeasement by “trading land for peace.” In the process we have increasingly given encouragement to Israel’s sworn enemies. If we continue to manhandle Israel, we are guaranteeing our own destruction.
 
SUMMARY
 
In conclusion, the Scriptures teach that Israel will not only survive, but the nation will emerge as the prime nation in all the world as God fulfills His promises to the Jewish people and comes to live in their midst.
 
What a glorious day that will be — not just for Israel, but for all the world. A day of absolute victory is coming for Israel — that will also mean victory for the Church.
 
In Psalm 122 we are told to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem.” The Scriptures make it clear that Jerusalem will never experience peace until Jesus returns. So, when you pray for the peace of Jerusalem, you are praying for the Lord’s return.
 
We are also told in the New Testament to pray the Aramaic phrase, “Maranatha!” which means, “O Lord Come!” (1 Corinthians 16:22). So each morning as you awake, pray for the peace of Jerusalem and then look to the sky and cry out in your heart, “Maranatha, Maranatha, Maranatha, come quickly, Lord Jesus!”
 
And on the glorious day when that prayer is answered, the Jewish remnant will cry out, “Baruch Haba B’shem Adonai!!” meaning, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” (Matthew 23:39).

Circumstances seem to keep pushing the United States and Russia closer and closer to a horrifying showdown. If I was in the White House, I would be doing all that I could to try to find a way out of this mess. Unfortunately, the guy currently leading our nation is a hothead in an advanced state of mental decline, and he is surrounded by the worst foreign policy team in U.S. history. That is a recipe for disaster, but most Americans seem to be entirely convinced that a full-blown war with Russia is extremely unlikely. Most of us seem to think that we can keep escalating the conflict in Ukraine without ever suffering any serious consequences. Unfortunately, the Russians see things very differently.
 
On Russian television, there is constant discussion about how the conflict in Ukraine is really a proxy war between the United States and Russia. For example, just consider this recent quote…
 
On the state TV show 60 Minutes, host Olga Skabeeva announced: “I have some unpleasant news… Even though we are methodically destroying the weapons that are being delivered [to Ukraine], but the quantities in which the United States are sending them force us to come up with some global conclusions. Perhaps it’s time to acknowledge that maybe Russia’s special operation in Ukraine has come to an end, in a sense that a real war had started: WWIII. We’re forced to conduct the demilitarization not only of Ukraine, but of the entire NATO alliance.”
 
Sadly, she is quite correct that World War III has now begun.
 
Let us hope that a way to stop it can be found before it goes nuclear.
 
Nuclear war is not a topic that is brought up much on American news channels, but in Russia it is regularly proposed as a potential option…
 
Vladimir Avatkov, from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said: “You mentioned WWIII and the way Americans and Poles are acting on the territory of Ukraine—indeed, we need to remember the words of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, who said that anyone who tries to interfere in the special military operation will pay a heavy price.” Skabeeva interrupted: “We never forget about these words of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, but a great number of people are already standing in line, trying to interfere in Russia’s special operation on the territory of Ukraine. Turns out, we have to act—but we’re yet to figure out how we can act without conducting a nuclear strike.”
 
Reading something like that should chill you to the core.
 
When Russian journalists and politicians say stuff like this, why won’t we take them seriously?
 
Just the other day, one prominent Russian politician openly talked about destroying both coasts of the United States with Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missiles…
 
The politician, Alexie Zhuravlev, was joined on the talk show by fellow MP and Russian-state mouthpiece Yevgeny Popov, the host of the Rossiya 1 channel show.
 
The lawmaker claimed that two of Russia’s Sarmat ‘Satan 2’ missiles would destroy the entirety of America’s east coast – before adding it would take just “two missiles for the west coast” as well.
 
“Four missiles and there’ll be nothing left.”

If push comes to shove, I believe that the Russians will not hesitate to use their nuclear weapons.
 
Our leaders should be trying to find a peaceful way out of this crisis, but instead both sides just continue to escalate matters.
 
In fact, for the very first time Joe Biden has just promised to give long-range rocket systems that are capable of hitting targets inside Russia to Ukraine…
 
U.S. President Joe Biden has agreed to provide Ukraine with advanced rocket systems that can strike with precision at long-range Russian targets as part of a $700 million weapons package expected to be unveiled on Wednesday.
 
The United States is providing Ukraine with high mobility artillery rocket systems that can accurately hit targets as far away as 80 km (50 miles) after Ukraine gave “assurances” they will not use the missiles to strike inside Russia, senior administration officials said.
 
What an incredibly foolish move.

The decision to begin these drills comes just one day after President Joe Biden announced his decision to send advanced missile system to Ukraine, the New York Post reported.
 
According to an independent news agency in Russia, around 1,000 Russian soldiers are taking part in intense maneuvers using more than 100 military vehicles, including Yars intercontinental missile launchers.
 
Yikes!
 
At this point, the U.S. is providing most of the new military equipment for the war in Ukraine, most of the intelligence for the war in Ukraine, and U.S. Secretary of State Lloyd Austin has publicly admitted that we are actually bringing Ukrainians into the United States to train them to go back and fight in the war.
 
And now we have learned that the U.S. has actually been conducting “offensive hacking operations” against Russia…
 
General Nakasone confirmed for the first time that the US was conducting offensive hacking operations in support of Ukraine in response to the Russian invasion.
 
He told Sky News: “We’ve conducted a series of operations across the full spectrum; offensive, defensive, [and] information operations.”
 
What are we thinking?
 
Have our leaders really become this reckless?
 
Once a full-blown war with Russia starts, there will be no going back.
 
But right now many Americans are so self-obsessed that they don’t even realize that our leaders in Washington have brought us to the brink of the unthinkable.

Dozens of videos on the laptop also reveal Hunter’s penchant for filming himself having sex with prostitutes and posting the home movies on his own Pornhub account under the username ‘RHEast’.
 
The president’s son took care not to show his face in his uploaded videos.
 
This is the son of the president of the United States.
 
Can you believe that?
 
Sadly, this is what we have become as a nation.
 
We have become a country full of self-destructive degenerates that are so out of it that we don’t even realize what we are doing to ourselves.
 
There is a small minority of the population that is awake, but most Americans are in a deep state of sleep. I am doing my best to try to wake them up, but most of the population simply does not want to listen.
 
The corporate media is telling them to hate Russia, and so most of them are going to keep cheering for more escalation until it is far too late to reverse course.
 
If we keep escalating the conflict in Ukraine, the Russians could eventually be put into a position where they feel like they are forced to make a very difficult decision.

Well, some believe the guys in white hats are just weeks away from riding in and saving the day. That they'll take over, arrest the bad guys and bring everything back to normal.
 
I know a lot of sharp people who are pinning their hopes on that. And I too hope they're right. I'm all for it. Who doesn't want that to happen? Yes, arrest the bad guys!
 
But there are some good reasons to believe that's not going to happen. Instead, it's possible the bad guys are leading us into a horrible mess and no one is stopping them.
 
Looking back at what the bad guys did with their control of the major media in regards to the man-made virus and the fake va((ine, it's not too hard to believe we've probably been lied to for years about a lot of things. So what else are they lying about?
 
Hint—the Bible says:
 
That which has been is that which will be, and that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun. Eccl. 1:9
 
That verse is the basis for our expression "History repeats itself." So what can we learn from history that will help us understand what's going on today?
 
Well, it uncomfortably turns out that in Germany between 1921-26, as Hitler was rising to power, he set up an extensive disinformation psy-op campaign called "Operation Trust."
 
Hitler wanted to neutralize his opposition by using fake stories to plant in the minds of his opponents so they would be distracted and not react/revolt over what he was doing—which was securing his absolute power. He needed to buy time.
 
So Hitler had his equivalent of our "Deep State" to find innocent but powerful individuals in which to mix fake intel inside of non-fake intel. It was well planned.
 
The ruse was perpetrated that there was a group in the military who knew Hitler was bad, and a lot of those around him were also bad. So the good guys knew this and were preparing to take back power in Germany.
 
Using a fake Russian anti-Bolshevik group, the good guys put the word out that they were waiting a little longer for Hilter to expose himself and they would then spring their take-back-over plan.
 
They released this information in bits and pieces over several years, which allowed Hitler the time to get complete control of everything—without much opposition. By the time the good guys realized they had been duped, it was too late.
 
When you look at the information that was disseminated before and after our recent national elections by Q-Anon, Simon Parkes, etc., it sure LOOKS like the same thing that Hitler did in Germany. Hmmm...
 
Just like in Germany, the "highly classified/behind the scenes secret information" was dribbled out and passed around and people believed it was coming from an inside source.
 
Then when the national election was obviously stolen, the good guys were effectually neutralized as they were told just wait another few days, or weeks, or months because a plan was in place.
 
It's a lot easier to let your defenses down when you're hearing what you want to hear.
 
If that's what actually happened—that the bad guys are behind a lot of hopeful but fake intel with the express purpose to let the steam out before the pot explodes—then they're continuing to do the same thing today.
 
The latest psy-op ruse today is to just wait until the elections and the Republicans will sweep in, take over and arrest all the bad guys.
 
If this is the ruse that's being spread, then the bad guys apparently think that by November it will all be over, they will have secured their power forever.
 
If that's the ruse then they want us distracted by worrying about a war with Russia or China. Or worrying about a digital currency coming. Or food shortages.
 
All to buy time and/or to keep our eyes off their power grab and/or huge and growing number of people dying from the va((ine.
 
If this is what's going on, the chances of having an election, or at least an election with honestly counted ballots, is zero. These Globalists/Satanists have no intention of giving up their power.
 
Again, I'm all for the good guys making a come-back. But if it's a ruse, then we have to rethink what's actually happening because we're watching our freedoms systematically being stripped away from every direction at an alarming pace.
 
If we're at the end of the Church Age, and I believe we are, the Bible says nothing about a world revival. Rather it says the world will wax worse and worse.

We're no doubt seeing glimpses of the carnage that's coming. And we also are seeing how perfectly opposite Satan is from Jesus.
 
Think about the contrast—Jesus had 3 1/2 years on this earth bringing life and healing.
 
Satan will have 3 1/2 years (the 2nd half of the Tribulation) bringing just the opposite—suffering and death.
 
Jesus ....... Satan
Truth ......... Lies
Life ............ Death
Healing ...... Suffering
Food .......... Famine
 
Are we watching Satan warming up, getting his minions ready to take over? Sure looks like it!
 
Until our exciting and loud exit, we patiently wait, trusting that the Lord is in control. We're comforted by what we see, knowing the Lord will remove us from the line of fire before He unloads His fearsome wrath on an unsuspecting earth.
 
So use the time wisely that we have between now and the big boom. And regardless of whether it's months or years away, make solid decisions based on God's Word because eternal investments yield eternal rewards.

The cost of energy drives all production. According to the US Department of Agriculture, a family of four on a thrifty food plan paid $917 for groceries in May, up about 65% from a year ago. Gasoline prices have jumped over 53% from $2.46 a gallon when Biden first took office to $4.62 a gallon on Monday. The American Automobile Association asks on its website “Is this the calm before the storm?” The answer is a loud “Yes.” Biden believes higher prices are necessary for Americans to transition to green energy and his Council of Economic Advisors Chair Cecilia Rouse says inflation “has been the consequence of mounting an effective response to the pandemic.” Huh?
 
The Democratic Party strategy on handling this Jimmy Carter 2.0 economy is denial and blame shift. It’s very similar to the whole COVID vaccine propaganda—no infection to infection but no death to infection and transmission but no death to just believe us, it’s safe and effective. Inflation is caused by businesses not paying their fair share of taxes to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, to COVID effectiveness, to transitioning to green energy because of climate change to unforeseen “shocks” to the economy—like maybe an Executive Order on Biden’s first day that set the wheels in motion to put the brakes on a recovering economy? After saying in 2021 that inflation posed only a “small risk,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen Tuesday told CNN, “I think I was wrong then about the path that inflation would take.” Really? You “think”?
 
She went on to say, “As I mentioned, there have been unanticipated and large shocks to the economy that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks that have affected our economy badly that I didn’t–at the time–didn’t fully understand, but we recognize that now.” Yes, unanticipated results of your failed socialist policies. Now their political solution is to con the public into believing that inflation is not caused by Biden policies, it’s everything else. Ecclesiastes 10:1 says, “As dead flies bring a stench to the perfumer’s oil, so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.” These people have let the manure pile up so high in the barn that it will take years to clean it out, and the stench will last even longer. They believe they are so smart, but in reality, they exemplify, say it with me…Stupidocrisy.

Jesus was on His way to the cross, on His way to suffer. He had things on His mind. Meanwhile, two blind men on the roadside heard Him passing by and shouted to Him. The word shouted in the original language actually could be translated “screamed.”
 
So the crowd yelled at these men to be quiet, but that made them cry out even louder. Jesus heard them, stopped, and then healed them. Here were two men with a very real need, and Jesus responded to their need.
 
Isn’t it amazing to think that God cares about us? He cares about the things that concern us. David wrote, “When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—the moon and the stars you set in place—what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?” (Psalm 8:3–4 NLT).
 
I’ve been stunned by how many stars I can see late at night, depending on where I am. It’s incredible and overwhelming to think that God, our Creator, our Father, made all of that.
 
Yet He cares about what we care about. God is never too busy or too preoccupied to take time for us. If it concerns us, it concerns Him.
 
In a time of crisis, the two blind men prayed. And so should we. God says, “Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory” (Psalm 50:15 NLT). Prayer puts us in touch with God.
 
Are you in trouble right now? Are you facing a crisis and don’t see any way you can resolve it? Call on the Lord.
 
The Bible says, “You don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it” (James 4:2 NLT). Pray about the things that are troubling you—and keep on praying.
