The global elites who are determined to bring in a New World Order seem fixated on the year 2030. The United Nations has set a deadline for achieving its Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development by the year 2030. Agenda 2030 for S.D. has 17 goals for curing all of the world’s problems under the leadership of the unelected officials of the United Nations. All nations are required to follow their guidelines to bring about this new utopia on Earth. They are to relinquish their national sovereignty and become a member of the New World Order. All members will be required to submit to the authority of the one-world government of the United Nations.
 
The United Nations initiated the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development in 2015. They had a fifteen-year plan and are now at the halfway point of their deadline. The UN General Assembly is not happy with the progress so far, thus they are meeting again in New York on September 18-19, 2023 to try and accelerate the progress made thus far. Their website states, “It will mark the beginning of a new phase of accelerated progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals with high-level political guidance on transformative and accelerated actions leading up to 2030.”
 
2030 is also the year that many so-called experts predict that the world will reach a “tipping point” or a point of no return regarding solving or reversing climate change. More than 100 countries pledged to reverse deforestation by 2030. The 2030 Climate Target Plan of the EU aims to cut greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030. Other “experts” predict by 2030 we will see significant achievements in technology such as artificial intelligence and automation. Five developers of quantum systems have announced plans to have fault-tolerant quantum computing hardware by 2030.
 
The World Health Organization and UNICEF have set a goal for universal access to basic sanitation by 2030. The World Bank has called for all countries to implement universal health care by 2030. In other words, 2030 seems to be the predicated year for great change to occur in the world. Global entities, such as the UN, WHO, WEF, IMF, WTO, and others, say this change is for the good of all mankind, but those who read and study their Bible know it is not. It will only lead to the worst time in history, known as the Tribulation, or Jacob’s Trouble. “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” (Matthew 24:21-22).
 
Jeremiah the prophet is the one who gave this time of great tribulation the name “Jacob’s Trouble.” “Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it” (Jeremiah 30:7). The “he” in this verse is referring to Israel and Judah.
 
Daniel prophecies about these last seven years in Daniel 9:27, “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” The “he” in this verse is the Antichrist. The “one week” is for seven years in duration and is called Daniel’s 70th Week (or Seven).
 
It’s rather obvious to me that the year 2030 will be associated with Jacob’s Trouble, aka Daniel’s 70thSeven. Many eschatologists believe 2030 could be the end of Daniels’ 70 Sevens prophecy, while others think it could be the middle or the start. Those who believe that 2030 will be the end of the Tribulation is because they are of the opinion that Jesus was crucified in 30 AD, and He will come again at His Second Advent 2000 years later. The basis for this logic is found in the following Scripture.
 
The Bible says a thousand years is as one day with the Lord. “Don’t forget this fact, dear friends: with the Lord, a single day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a single day” (2 Peter 3:80). “For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past. And like a watch in the night” (Psalm 90:4).
 
In addition, Hosea says that after two days the Lord will revive us. Using the same metrics of a single day with the Lord is like a thousand years to humans, Jesus should return after 2000 years from His death, resurrection, and ascension. “After two days (2,000 years) He will revive us: in the third day (3,000 years) He will raise us up (in the New Jerusalem), and we shall live in his sight” (Hosea 6:2).
 
“Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: His going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth” (Hosea 6:3). This verse is a prophecy of Jesus coming to the earth at His First Advent as the latter (spring) rain and at His Second Advent as the former (fall) rain.
 
If Jesus was crucified in 30 AD and He returns to the Earth in 2030, then the seven-year Tribulation will have to start in the fall of 2023 and the mid-point will be in 2027. That means the pre-tribulation Rapture will have to occur by the fall of 2023. Time is about to run out for this option.
 
If you are of the view that Jesus was crucified in 33 AD (as I am), then there is a little more time left before these events take place. In this scenario, 2026 would be the start, 2030 would be the mid-point, and 2033 would be the end of the Tribulation. The Rapture could come any time between now and the fall of 2026.
 
In regard to Jacob’s Trouble beginning in 2026, there are 3430 years between 1406/1405 BC (when the children of Israel entered the Promised Land) and 2025/2026 AD. That is forty-nine 70-year time periods (49 x 70) or seventy 49-year time periods (70 x 49), depending on how you want to look at it.
 
In the 2033 scenario for the Second Advent, 2030 would be the mid-point of Daniel’s 70th seven when the Antichrist gains control of the 10 Kings’ Kingdom after killing three of the kings. “And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings” (Daniel 7:24). At this point, the remaining seven kings give him their authority and power and the Antichrist becomes Emperor of the World. His absolute reign will last for only 3.5 years until Christ returns and destroys him and his forces.
 
I believe the Rapture will greatly speed up the global elite’s plans for their New World Order. Instead of the United Nations stated goal for a New World Order beginning in 2030, it could start as early as 2026 for the beginning of the Ten Kings Kingdom, with 2030 being the year of the Antichrist’s takeover.
 
According to Daniel 9:24-27, the dispensation of Law was interrupted seven years short of its scheduled completion by the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which started the new covenant (the dispensation of grace). Fifty days later on the day of Pentecost, the Church was born when the Holy Spirit was poured out on Jesus’ disciples. Daniel’s 70th seven is those missing seven years of the Law, which will resume shortly after the Rapture.
 
I believe God will use His supernatural victory in the Battle of Ezekiel 38-39 to draw Israel back into a covenant relationship with Him, prompting a national desire for a Temple in Israel, the resumption of Levitical worship, and the beginning of Daniel’s 70th Week, aka Jacob’s Trouble. There are currently many atheists in Israel. One must first acknowledge God the Father before one can acknowledge God the Son. It will be obvious to the children of Israel that it is Yahweh Himself who delivers them from certain destruction from the overwhelming coalition forces of Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others. “So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day and forward” (Ezekiel 39:7).
 
There must be a Third Temple for the prophecy of Daniel 9:27 and Matthew 24:15 to be fulfilled. In order for the Antichrist to commit the abomination of desolation and stop all sacrifices and offerings there must be a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem. Perhaps permitting the building of the Third Temple will be a bargaining chip that the Antichrist uses to bring the Jews into agreement with the seven-year covenant.
 
Since the Third Temple in Jerusalem plays a significant part in the Tribulation, let’s briefly review the history of the first two Temples of the Israelites. The First Temple was built by King Solomon in approximately 966 BC and stood until 586 BC when the Babylonians under Nebuchadnezzar demolished it. 19 years earlier, in 605 BC, Jeremiah prophesied a 70-year captivity of the Jews for their idol-worshipping ways and their sins against the Lord. (Note: 19 is the biblical number for judgment).
 
Most Bible scholars believe 605 BC is the same year these 70 years of captivity/desolation began as this was the year Nebuchadnezzar conquered Jerusalem, pillaged Judah, and carried away many Jews to serve him in Babylon (first captivity), including Daniel and his three friends. Babylon was defeated by the Medo-Persian Empire in 539 BC. Daniel was still in Babylon at this time and had read the words of Jeremiah the prophet regarding the 70-year captivity. He realized 70 years were nearly complete so he began to pray, asking God’s forgiveness for the sins of his people and pleading for the restoration of Jerusalem (as found in Leviticus 26: 40-45).
 
Before Daniel could finish his prayer, the angel Gabriel appeared and gave him the prophecy of the Seventy “Sevens” timeline outlined in Daniel 9:24-27. Gabriel informed Daniel that it was not going to be seventy years but seventy sevens of years before the Messianic Kingdom would be established.
 
The 490 years (supposed) of Daniel’s 70 sevens were not a judgment like the 70 years of Jeremiah were. They were a period of time set by God to complete the six objectives the angel Gabriel listed in Daniel 9:24 for the Jewish people and the city of Jerusalem: “Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy” (Daniel 9:24).
 
The six objectives of Daniel 9:24 cannot be met until Israel accepts Jesus as their Messiah. If the Jews had accepted Jesus as their Messiah King in the 1st century, these objectives would have been met and the prophecy of Exodus 19:5-6 would have been fulfilled. “You shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” The fulfillment of this Scripture will be realized only during the Millennium Kingdom. Of course, we now know the mostly Gentile Church had to come into the fold as well, and here we all are 1990 years later.
 
The Second Temple’s construction, under the decree of King Cyrus of Persia, began in approximately 536/535 BC and wasn’t completed until 516 BC. The 70 years of desolation prophesied by Jeremiah was from 605 BC to 535 BC. Daniel’s prayer of restoration and subsequent vision of the 70 Sevens occurred in 539 BC.
 
There is, however, another 70-year duration that was historically significant to the Jewish people. The First Temple was destroyed in 586 BC and the Second Temple’s completion and dedication occurred in 516 BC. The sacrifices that were offered at the dedication are recorded in Ezra 6:17. That’s 70 years from the First Temple’s destruction to the Second Temple’s construction completion and dedication. The Second Temple was destroyed in 70 AD, so the question is, when will the Third Temple be built and dedicated?
 
The Second Temple stood for 445 years (65 years longer than the First Temple) until 70 AD when the Romans burned it to the ground. They also destroyed the city of Jerusalem, thus fulfilling Daniel 9:26b. It’s probably not a coincidence that 70 AD is the year this punishment from God occurred because of the Jew’s unbelief in Jesus as “Messiah the Prince.”
 
“70 (7 x 10) signifies perfect spiritual order carried out with all spiritual power and meaning. 70 is a very significant number as it is the product of two perfect numbers, 7 (spiritual perfection and completion) and 10 (ordinal perfection). Both spirit and order are greatly emphasized. 490 is also a very biblically significant number as well, as it is the product of 70 and 7.” {1}
 
Here is where it gets interesting. I believe something significant will happen in regard to the Third Temple of the Jews in the year 2030. It could be the year of the start of its construction or its completion. There are 1960 years between 70 AD and 2030 AD. That is twenty-eight 70-year periods (28 x 70 ) or four 490-year periods (4 x 490). I believe this temple will be built before 2030, so I think it could be the year of the abomination of desolation and the ceasing of sacrifices and offerings. 2030 could be the start of the 3.5-year “Great Tribulation” whereas the Antichrist becomes the sole ruler of the world. This will not be the idealistic “great reset” and “new world order” envisioned by today’s global elites. It will be hell on earth.
 
The Jews experienced 70 years of desolation in the 6th century BC, but that is not much compared to what they have been going through since 70 AD and 135 AD when they were defeated and scattered throughout the world. This is known as the diaspora of the Jewish people among the Gentile nations. Leviticus 26 is God’s promise to Israel for blessings or retribution/curses based on whether the children of Israel obey God’s word or not. Verses 1-13 describe the blessings from God while verses 14-39 describe the curses from God.
 
Leviticus 26:16-17 describe what God would do to Israel if they refused to obey Him. “I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. And I will set my face against you, and you shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and you shall flee when none pursues you.”
 
Verse 18 says that after these curses if the people still did not hearken to God He would punish them seven more times for their sins. Verses 19-20 describe these curses. Verse 21 repeats the retribution of verse 18 and promises them “seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.” Verse 22 describes these plagues. Verses 23-24 say if the people still did not obey God He would “punish you yet seven times for your sins.” Verses 25-26 describe the next curses God would send for their disobedience. Verses 27-28 say once again that God would “chastise you seven times for your sins.” Verses 29-33 describe these chastisements. That’s a total of 28 times more for their sins and unbelief.
 
Leviticus 26:31-33 describe the last three curses that God inflicted upon the children of Israel for their repeated wickedness. “And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors. And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.
 
These three verses describe the diaspora and what happened to the people and land of Israel after 70-135 AD (and continued throughout the centuries). God’s initial punishment for Judea back in the 6th century BC was for 70 years. During the Second Temple period (516 BC – 70AD), the Jews still did not obey God, so the Lord caused their punishment to be extended by seven times, which is 70 x 7 or 490 years. The end of these 490 years of diaspora would be 560 AD. While there were some Jews living in Israel (now called Palestine) most of them were scattered throughout Mesopotamia (Iraq) and elsewhere.
 
During this time the Jews in Judea concentrated their efforts on writing the Palestinian Talmud (or Talmud of the Land of Israel) and later the Jews in Babylonia on writing the Babylonia Talmud. These are commentaries on the Mishnah and Gemara, the oral laws of Judaism added to those of Scripture. Following the destruction of the Jewish Temple in 70 AD, the Pharisees began putting their oral laws into writing. The Palestinian Talmud was completed in 380 AD and the Babylonian Talmud was completed in 500 AD. The Jews were still concentrating on the Law instead of their Messiah, so of course the Messiah couldn’t return yet. They were subject to yet another “seven times more” punishment period of 490 years (70 x 7) where they would be further scattered throughout the nations.
 
The end of this 490-year diaspora period was 1050 AD. During the 11th century AD many massacres of Jews occurred, such as in Morocco and Granada. Many Jews lived in Bagdad until Iraq lost its leadership role in the Islamic Empire. In 1066 AD Jews began moving into Western Europe and even into England. The First Crusade began in 1095 AD and many Jews were killed across Europe on the Crusader’s way to the Holy Land. Of course, the Jews still rejected their Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, so they were punished yet another “seven times more” (70 X 7) or 490 years. 
 
The next 490-year tribulation period (70 x 7) ends in 1540 AD. The Portugal Inquisition began in 1531 AD, thirty-nine years after the Jew’s expulsion from Spain in 1492. During this time, the Ottoman Empire was in control of Jerusalem and the Holy Land, and the Jews and Christians living there were treated relatively well. In 1494, Suleiman the Magnificent ascended to the throne of the empire in Constantinople. From 1537 to 1542, Suleiman laid out the Temple area as it is today and rebuilt the walls and gates of Jerusalem, which had been without a wall since 1219 AD. The Damascus Gate was the last to be finished in 1542 AD. The walls still stand today. Many Jews left Spain and resettled in Brazil in 1548. The Jews still did not accept Jesus as their Messiah so were subject to another “seven times more” (70 x 7) punishment.
 
The next punishment phase of 490 years (70 x 7) will end in 2030 AD. Even though Israel became a nation again in 1948 and reclaimed Jerusalem in 1967, the nation of Israel is largely a secular country and still does not acknowledge Jesus as the anointed Son of God. They are still under the last of God’s curses upon them for their unbelief in Jesus Christ.
 
It will have been 1960 years(twenty-eight 70-year time periods) since the Second Temple was destroyed in 70 AD, thus fulfilling Daniel 9:26b. “And the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.” These 1960 years are described in Daniel 9:26c: “And the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”
 
Sometime around the end of these 1960 years, the interrupted “70thseven” of Daniel 9:24-27 will resume and the Antichrist will confirm the covenant with the many for seven years and will give Israel permission to build their Third Temple in Jerusalem. “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week” (Daniel 9:27a).
 
In return, Israel will give up some land to the Palestinians, which will anger God greatly. “Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, And with Sheol we are in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, It will not come to us, For we have made lies our refuge, And under falsehood we have hidden ourselves” (Isaiah 28:15). The last seven years, Jacob’s Trouble, will be the culmination of all God’s anger on the Jewish nation (and Gentile nations). Only one-third of the Jewish people will survive Jacob’s Trouble.
 
“And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God” (Zechariah 13:8-9).
 
After 3.5 years the Antichrist will break his covenant with Israel and stop the sacrificial system that has been reimplemented in the newly built Temple and he will then commit the abomination of desolation. “And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate” (Daniel 9:27b). I believe there is a high possibility this evil event will occur in the year 2030 AD. The last 3.5 years, ending in 2033 AD, are described in Daniel 9:27c, “even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”
 
Hosea prophesied about the Lord’s conditional return (Second Advent) to Israel at the end of the age. “ I will go and return to my place, until they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face: in their affliction, they will seek me early” (Hosea 5:15). Hosea 6:1 is a continuation of 5:15and describe the Jew’s realization that Jesus is their Messiah. Only by calling upon the name of the Lord can Israel be saved spiritually and only by the return of King Jesus can Israel be saved physically. “Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.” Verse 6:3 gives us a hint of when this will occur. “After two days (2,000 years) He will revive us.
 
The prophet Zechariah describes the day the remnant of Israel finally repent from their unbelief. This comes after the Lord saves the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem from complete annihilation. “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon” (Zechariah 12:10-11).
 
King Jesus will return on a future Feast of Trumpets to wage war on the Antichrist and his minions. The final battle takes place in Bozrah (Isaiah 34:1-7; Habakkuk 3:3) and progresses all the way to the Valley of Jehoshaphat (Joel 3:12-13) and ends up at the Mount of Olives. Zechariah 13:1 is probably referring to the Day of Atonement “In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.” On this day, Israel’s sin of unbelief will be forgiven, not just temporarily “covered up” but they will be eradicated forever.
 
The prophet Ezekiel tells of the future day of restoration for Israel. “I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which you have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
 
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments, and do them. And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God” (Ezekiel 36:23-38).
 
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

It has been a difficult week in Israel. Protests and counter-protests have filled the streets. Major votes have taken place in the Knesset. There has even been what some have labeled a “coup attempt” against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. I will share some details below and will provide you with links to where you can get even more information. For now, I am asking that you continue to pray for Israel. The liberal elites have been steering the nation down a very destructive road, but now the conservative majority is beginning to fight back. It has gotten ugly at times, and it will likely continue to be so. Please pray that God brings peace and righteousness to the nation, its people, and its leaders.
 
Prime Minister Netanyahu Received Pacemaker
 
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a pacemaker implanted on Sunday, a week after having to be hospitalized. That initial incident, which doctors say was caused by dehydration, revealed some urgent problems that needed to be addressed.
 
Many were surprised when it was later revealed by the hospital doctors that Bibi has hidden from the public long-term heart issues. The prime minister later released a video from the hospital expressing his gratitude and telling his supporters, “As you can see, I’m doing great.”
 
Judicial Reform Passes and the Left Wing Explodes
 
Sunday night saw the streets of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv filled with conservative supporters of judicial reform and the Netanyahu administration. On Monday, the first bill of the judicial reform, the “Reasonableness Standard Bill”, was approved by the Knesset 64-0, after the opposition members left before the vote. Monday night, the streets filled again, this time with liberals expressing their outrage at the legislative body’s action. This bill was the first step in turning the country back into what the government of Israel was 30 years ago, before the Supreme Court began to expand their oversight. The word “reform” here is not referring to some new shrinking of the Supreme Court’s mandate, while pouring more power into the legislative branch, as the liberal, fake news press will tell you. It is restoring the walls of the checks and balances to where they were three decades ago. This reversion to what once was is essential for the health and future of Israel.
 
Possible Coup Attempt in Israel
 
It’s no surprise to anyone in Israel that former prime minister Ehud Barak is not a member of the Bibi Netanyahu fan club. The extent of his disdain for the current prime minister has taken some off guard. A video clip has been circulating through social media that shows that Barak has been plotting a coup d’état against Netanyahu for several years now. The governmental and social crisis stemming from the judicial reform bill appears to have provided him the opportunity to implement his plan. Is this real or are people reading too much into a video? For Israel’s Transport Minister Miri Regev, it is more than enough. She has sent a letter to Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara asking for a full investigation to be opened into Barak’s actions.
 
Israel’s Enemies Betting that the Country will Implode
 
If you put a senior commander from Iran’s Quds Force, two Iranian security officials, and leaders from Hamas together in a room for three hours, what do you get? You get a plan for the destruction of Israel, of course! What was unusual about this meeting was that its plan of action was one of inaction. Given the extent of the division and unrest within Israel over the judicial reform, they determined that they should just lay low for a while and see if Israel implodes. In fact, they were concerned that if they did act, it could rally people around Netanyahu, strengthening his position. By Quds and Hamas standards, it is truly a brilliant plan. Israel was facing a financial perfect storm. Contention and strife filled the Knesset. Hundreds of thousands of people from both sides of the judicial issue had taken to the streets. Pundits from the full gamut of media methods were predicting doom and gloom for Israel’s economy. Then, for the coup d’gras, on Tuesday Morgan Stanley lowered Israel’s credit rating, while Moody’s warned of a “significant risk” of “negative consequences for Israel’s economy and security situation.” The threat of one of these could damage the economy. But all of them at once? This was going to be a fiscal bloodbath. The financial sector waited for Wednesday’s inevitable stock market crash. But as the hours rolled by, the prophecies of economic destruction did not come to pass. In fact, at the end of the day Israel’s stock market was up! Will there be financial struggles in Israel in the future? There could be, particularly with the dogged determination of the progressive left media to drag Netanyahu down and nuke the judicial reform. Even Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah, recently made comments about how the Israeli media is irresponsibly sowing fears in the hearts of the many in Israel. Of course, he sees this as a good thing. But don’t believe the naysayers. The rumors of the death of Israel’s economy are greatly exaggerated. On the contrary, the economy of the State of Israel continues to be the strongest in the world!
 
Iran Closer than Ever to Possible Atomic Bomb Test
 
A number of European intelligence reports recently translated and published by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) revealed a growing concern that Iran could soon be ready to test an atomic bomb. The Netherlands General Intelligence and Security Service examined Iran’s fast-tracking of its weapons grade uranium manufacturing and concluded that it “brings the option of a possible [Iranian] first nuclear test closer.” AVID went on to say, “Iran is further ignoring the agreements that were made within the framework of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). And by deploying increasingly more sophisticated uranium enrichment centrifuges, it is enlarging its enrichment capacity.”
 
US CENTCOM Strengthens Its Response to Iranian Ship Seizures
 
The US is responding to Iran’s increased attempts to illegally seize merchant ships in the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman. During a briefing, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said, “In response to a number of recent, alarming events in the Strait of Hormuz, the secretary of defense has ordered the deployment of the destroyer USS Thomas Hudner, F-35 fighters, and F-16 fighters to the US Central Command area of responsibility to defend US interests and safeguard freedom of navigation in the region.”
 
 Ukrainian Drones Hit Two Buildings in Moscow
 
Two armed Ukrainian drones flew toward the Ministry of Defense in Moscow. While both did damage, it appears it was not to its intended target. Meanwhile, down in Crimea another drone hit a Russian ammunition depot causing a major explosion. For its part, Russia has kept up its indiscriminate bombing. In Odessa, 25 landmarks were severely damaged, including the early 19th century Transfiguration Cathedral.
 
North Korea Supplying Arms to Russia
 
For months, North Korea has been accused of supplying artillery shells and other weapons to the Russian war effort. Both parties deny the allegation, despite the growing proof. Now, in an act sure to keep the rumor mill humming, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has taken a trip to Pyongyang for a ceremony to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the ceasefire in the Korean War. This visit, during which he was joined by a Chinese Communist Party Politburo member, was the first official visit by foreign dignitaries to the hermit kingdom since the outbreak of COVID-19.
 
Consequences Spread after Sweden Allows a Protest Burn of a Quran
 
Swedish police allowed an Iraqi national to burn a Quran in Stockholm last month. The militant response to this act has been growing ever since. Last Thursday, protesters burned a portion of the Swedish Embassy in Baghdad. Later that day, the Iraqi government severed relations with Sweden and expelled the Swedish ambassador. In Beirut, Shiite demonstrations spread through the streets at the instigation of Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah. In Qatar, Swedish products were removed from supermarket shelves. But rather than quelling the burnings of the Muslim holy book, the incidents of book-burning have increased with copies being set on fire in front of the Egyptian and Turkish embassies in Denmark.
 
Coup Attempt in Niger
 
Yesterday, a group from the presidential guard surrounded Niger’s presidential palace in an attempted coup against President Mohammed Bazoum. The president himself was detained inside. Other military units were soon brought up to counter the coup attempt. Currently, there are discussions taking place between the two parties. The Sahel region of Africa has seen four coup attempts in the last three years, with Niger being one of the most stable in the area. Said Ulf Laessing, head of the Sahel program at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, “Niger and President Bazoum has been the West’s only hope on the Sahel region to contain jihadists and Russia’s rising influence.” But, according to Laessing, that is all changed now. “Even if Bazoum survives this,” he said, “the reputation of Niger among Western policymakers as a stability anchor for the Sahel is damaged.”
 
Fires Rage Globally
 
Extreme heat has contributed to a rash of wildfires across the globe. Mediterranean Europe has been particularly hard hit with more than forty dead and countless euros worth of damage. In Greece, which is among the worst victims of the blazes, two Hellenic Air Force pilots were killed when their plane crashed while fighting fires near Athens.
 
Today, Jews worldwide will commemorate Tisha B’Av – an annual fast day in Judaism, named for the ninth day (Tisha) of the month of Av in the Hebrew calendar. The fast commemorates the destruction of both the First Temple and Second Temple in Jerusalem, which occurred about 655 years apart, but on the same Hebrew calendar date. But that’s just the beginning. Throughout the history of Israel, Tisha B’Av has notoriously and consistently brought tragedy and devastation to the Jews. I would encourage you to take a moment to read an article Behold Israel has prepared that will give you insight into this day of infamy for our people. Central bank digital currencies are feverishly being developed all over the globe, and this is something that should deeply alarm all of us. For a moment, I would like for you to imagine a world where the government instantly knows whenever you buy or sell something. No transaction would ever be truly private, not even your most personal or embarrassing ones. In addition, your money would not be truly your own under such a system. Your access to the digital currency system would be a privilege which could potentially be suspended or revoked with the click of a mouse. All of a sudden you would not be able to buy or sell anything and you would become an outcast from society. Under no circumstances should any government ever be given such power.
 
Unfortunately, the CBDCs are coming, and they are going to radically change how commerce gets done.
 
Here in the United States, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco has posted a job listing for a “Senior Crypto Architect” to work on the development of a digital dollar.
 
U.S. Representative Warren Davidson is very upset about this, because he believes that a CBDC issued by the Federal Reserve would be the “financial equivalent of the Death Star”…
 
The job description specified that the Federal Reserve seeks a technologist to “perform central bank digital currency (CBDC) research and development.”
 
The expert will work to “ensure the Federal Reserve is well-positioned to design, develop, and implement technology to support a CBDC as may be required by the Board of Governors.”
 
Although the job listing shows that the Federal Reserve is only working on CBDC research, Rep Davidson believes it is a sign of what is to come and described it as the “financial equivalent of the Death Star.”
 
Davidson added that CBDC would turn money into a tool of coercion and control.
 
Sadly, he is right on target.
 
Once “digital dollars” issued by the Federal Reserve become the dominant form of currency in our nation, whoever has power over that system would truly have an unprecedented “tool of coercion and control”.
 
So we must not allow this to happen.
 
Sadly, CBDCs are now in development all around the world.
 
For example, the UK has been moving toward the development of their own CBDC…
 
The de facto head of His Majesty’s Treasury announced this week that the Bank of England has begun consultations on implementing a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) that could usher in the globalist vision of a cashless society in which all transactions are traceable by the government.
 
Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt revealed that, as a part of his ‘Edinburgh Reforms’ of Britain’s financial services, the Bank of England will begin consultations on the design of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) which would act as a digital version of the pound sterling.
 
Meanwhile, the EU is looking at creating a digital version of the euro. The following comes from the official website of the European Central Bank…
 
We are working with the national central banks of the euro area to investigate whether to introduce a digital euro. It would be a central bank digital currency, an electronic equivalent to cash. And it would complement banknotes and coins, giving people an additional choice about how to pay.
 
A CBDC is currently being tested in Brazil, and it turns out that it has hidden backdoor features that would actually allow the government “to freeze people’s funds and adjust their balances at will”…
 
Brazil, like most other masters, seeks to control the population with a central bank digital currency, or CBDC. Its pilot program made it possible for the ruling class to have complete control over the money of the slaves.
 
The new system contains hidden backdoor features allowing the Brazilian government to freeze people’s funds and adjust their balances at will. Even though these features are “hidden”, there is no secret as to why these sociopaths all so desperately need people to accept their enslavement through a CBDC scheme.
 
According to a blockchain developer by the name of Pedro Magalhaes, founder of the Web3 consulting firm Iora Labs, the ruling class will have access to every single slave’s bank account once they roll out the CBDC system.
 
Magalhaes claimed that he reverse-engineered the code behind Brazil’s CBDC program, which led him to this shocking discovery.
 
And in Russia, the “digital ruble” is already here.
 
Just a few days ago, Vladimir Putin signed “the digital ruble bill” into law…
 
Russia’s president Vladimir Putin signed the digital ruble bill into law today, allowing the country’s central bank to issue its own digital currency.
 
The digital ruble, which the Bank of Russia has long been mulling over, will be used for payments along with other methods, according to the new amendments to Russia’s Civil Code. The digital ruble accounts will be managed by the central bank, the law says. The bill passed its third, final hearing on July 11 and had been waiting for the president to be signed.
 
Digital ruble is a CBDC project the Bank of Russia has been working on since 2020, when the Bank of Russia published its first analytical report on the topic. Later, the regulator updated the report including the feedback from Russian banks and other financial market participants. The regulator announced it stared piloting the system with a number of Russian banks in February 2022, shortly before the country started a war in Ukraine.
 
This was a historic development.
 
So why did we barely hear anything about it in the news?
 
Overall, it is being reported that 130 different countries are now interested in potentially developing their own CBDCs…
 
Out of 195 countries in the world, 130 nations are moving towards building their Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
 
Wow.
 
Our world is changing so rapidly now.
 
Once a “digital currency” is introduced where you live, how will you keep your “digital wallet” safe?
 
After all, someone could just steal your “digital wallet” and spend all of the “digital currency” that you have saved up.
 
Well, one German economist is warning that eventually we could see “digital wallets” actually get implanted under the skin…
 
A well-known German economist has revealed that central banks around the world are planning to introduce central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) in the form of microchips implanted under the skin. This technology will enable complete government control over personal finances of its citizens.
 
“I was taught by a central banker [that] the CBDCs look like a small grain of rice that they want to put under your skin,” said Richard Werner in an interview with podcaster Ivor Cummins. Werner is known for developing the now commonly used bank practice of quantitative easing.
 
Let us hope that nothing like that happens any time soon.
 
But we truly are living in unprecedented times, and they are only going to get crazier with each passing year.
 
If we are going to object to the implementation of CBDCs, the time is now.
 
Hopefully we can get a lot more people in the general population to wake up, because the clock is ticking.

Frameworks for control are being put up all over the world. Daisy wrote recently about the implementation of FedNow, a framework for ending financial freedom and privacy as we know it. A few months ago, we wrote about the WHO's Pandemic Treaty, which, if signed by all parties, will put in place a framework for global health mandates. And Europe will shortly begin enforcing its Digital Services Act, which will put in a framework for intense control of online speech.
 
When people see current systems failing, they are more likely to be open to bigger changes. As Daisy noted, when FedNow was announced in March, it came on the heels of multiple large bank failures.
 
Likewise, many people now recognize that the worldwide response to Covid was a total fiasco. The WHO is trying to use this as an excuse to centralize control. The causes behind both the bank failures and the events surrounding Covid are still highly debatable. People worldwide have been discussing these issues for years.
 
Europeans may lose their ability to even complain about current events.
 
Europe's Digital Services Act (DSA) is coming online this August. The DSA aims to curtail illegal online activity and restrict targeted advertising. The largest companies, those with over 45 million European users, will face fines of up to 6% of their annual turnover if they fail to comply with the new rules. 
 
They will have to be transparent about how they moderate content, advertise, and use algorithmic processes. Hosting services and domain registrars are now responsible for reporting criminal offenses to authorities and cooperating with national law enforcement.
 
Like many other laws, much of the Digital Services Act seems reasonable on the face. I don't like targeted ads. I think it would be nice for people who have been de-platformed from social media to understand why.
 
However, the DSA also contains provisions for combating disinformation, which means that it can be used to police online speech.
 
Is this the first we've heard of something like this?
 
No, this isn't much of a stretch. France has already threatened to kick out Twitter. A voluntary agreement had been put into place between Big Tech and the European Commission to help the largest tech companies comply with the Digital Services Act's new obligations. Twitter had been on board at first, then backed out due to Elon Musk's concerns regarding free speech.
 
Upon Twitter's withdrawal, France's Digital Minister Jean-Noël Barrot publicly stated, "Twitter, if it repeatedly doesn't follow our rules, will be banned from the EU." He also posted on Twitter, "Fighting disinformation will be legal"
 
In general, the DSA grants companies like Twitter a fair amount of leeway in what constitutes disinformation. However, it does contain a crisis mechanism that will grant the European Commission much more power to restrict speech in times of crisis. In the law, "crisis" has been given the broad definition of extraordinary circumstances that can lead to a "serious threat to public security or public health." This is a pretty broad definition, and its lack of specificity has already drawn the ire of civil rights groups.
 
And it doesn't help that the EU has already shut down large media outlets without so much as a court order. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the European Commission passed a series of measures aimed at curtailing the spread of Russia Times and Sputnik, both media outlets paid to propagandize for the Russian government. Cable, satellite, IP-TV, internet service providers, and internet video-sharing platforms such as YouTube and TikTok all removed content within a short time period.
 
I don't think Russia is totally innocent here, but that's beside the point. My point is simply that the EU has already shown itself willing to shut down huge media outlets. In the same way that FedNow is putting in a framework for CBDCs, in the same way that the WHO is setting up a framework for worldwide health programs, the Digital Services Act is putting in a framework for widespread internet control within Europe.
 
And once it's up and running there, who says this framework can't spread?
 
It's easy to feel overwhelmed at the size and breadth of freedom-restricting frameworks being put into place. Megalomaniacs have always dreamt of world domination; the only difference now is that our technology and global interconnectedness have made one-world government a real possibility.
 
The desire to centralize power has been around longer than the World Economic Forum. Read Carroll Quigley's The Anglo-American Establishment and you'll see, in letters written between British aristocrats a century ago, that this is not a new impulse.
 
And it is not just a desire for raw power but a belief in their own righteousness that makes globalists so dangerous. Watch some of the videos of the WEF; read some of the letters re-printed in The Anglo-American Establishment. There has been a group of very wealthy, very powerful people absolutely convinced that they have a moral duty to manage the rest of us for a long time now.
 
Personally, I think this kind of arrogance is insane.
 
But thinking that isn't enough. The only way to counter the frameworks of control currently being put in place is to come up with our own frameworks for resistance.
 
In a recent interview with Redacted, former British Parliamentary candidate Jim Ferguson had some interesting thoughts on how to think of ourselves in facing down this power-mad behemoth of wannabe world governors. He said that resistance could take place at three levels: strategic, tactical, and operational.
 
The strategic level would be international, consisting of people getting together in agreement to work toward national sovereignty for individual countries around the globe. This is what Ferguson does himself. This would be the role of politicians that truly had their countries' best interests at heart.
 
The tactical level would be regional, addressing specific issues. This would consist of groups like the various Freedom Convoys or the Dutch Farmers' Defense Force.
 
And finally, at the operational level, we have the people that just keep things running. This would be those of us engaged in the day-to-day work of growing food, keeping the lights on, and raising the next generation of children. It's easy to see many of these tasks as insignificant in the face of powerful global movements, but they aren't.
 
Join the parallel economy.
 
If you are stuck in a job that you feel is meaningless, think about what kind of productive hobby you could pursue, something that would give you a spot in a parallel economy. This could be something you and your family do together. If you need direction, look at what the World Economic Forum wants us to do, and then run the opposite way.
 
Henry Kissinger said a long time ago, "Who controls the food supply controls the people; who controls the energy can control whole continents; who controls money can control the world."
 
If you want to take back some control in your life, perhaps you should start with your food supply.
 
We talk about food production a lot on this website and for good reason. Most people can produce at least something, and producing one thing often leads to the development of many other skills. For many people, some productive tomato plants in their suburban backyards lead to learning how to can, which leads them to buy in bulk from farmers' markets, which leads them to meet like-minded people, and it just keeps going on.
 
Once you start doing something truly productive, other pursuits will eventually follow. Can you always plan this all out? Of course not. The important thing is to start and to be willing to see where your journey toward increasing independence takes you.
 
The best way to resist these frameworks for control currently being put into place is to develop our own set of frameworks for resistance. I think Ferguson's way of thinking about strategic, tactical, and operational levels is a good place to start.

Our friends Ed and Christine and us have been going on beach vacations for a dozen years. Each year is full of laughs and relaxation, and usually some silly thing that places the trip in the memory hall of fame. One year on Ocracoke Island, the wind was blowing really hard. We moved Ed’s Jeep to the windward side of our site, wrapped it in a tarp, and thus prevented the sand from blowing on us so harshly. Our dog, Zeke, earned the moniker “sand flaps” because he buried his head behind his ears to stop the sand. Another year, we had parked too close to the ocean and frantically dug a moat around our site and the Jeep. For a while, it was touch and go, but we came out OK. This year, we went to Emerald Isle.
 
After driving a lot longer than we thought it would be—you know, sometimes Google Maps are just plain wrong, just saying—the first order of business after unloading into our rental house was a walk on the beach. With such a long drive, my back was bothering me a bit, so I didn’t walk as far as the others, but I caught them on the return and they all held hands and strolled along the beach to give me a picturesque shot—nearly sunset, along the beach, serenity, unity, and oh yes, world peace. We were hungry so we loaded into the van and drove to the only restaurant we thought we could get into on a Saturday night—the Plaza Mexican restaurant. Chris and I had eaten there this past winter coming back from Florida. The Plaza was a busy, busy place. A lot going on. I ordered a chili relleno with beans and rice.
 
We were munching down on the chips and salsa and a young man came by with fresh guacamole. For a tip, he would make us guacamole dip while we watched. By the time the food came, we were all pretty hungry. Here I am, with this beautiful chili relleno right in front of me. I love Mexican food. So I grabbed my fork and knife and cut off a fairly large hunk of the pepper and stuffed it into my mouth like I hadn’t eaten in a week. It was really tasty, the meat and cheese combining with the tomato sauce was delightful. Then the flavors exploded with the pepper. It was the hottest pepper I’ve ever had in a chili relleno. My mouth was on fire. My head started sweating. My eyes watering. Wow! After about ten minutes of water, chips and salsa, things calmed down and I was able to finish, albeit in very small bites.
 
One of our beach traditions is morning coffee on the beach. It started out with us just bringing a cup of coffee and a beach chair. Over the years, it became more sophisticated. Chris and I got larger, insulated cups with non-spill caps. Ed bought a Yeti thermos. I usually prepare the coffee the night before and just flip the brew switch before we leave on a little morning walk on the beach. This year was special. Service Dog Charlie decided to dig deeper into the sand to keep cool and just plastered Ed’s cup with sand. As if that wasn’t enough, he turned directions and covered my lap in sand. Ed and I both got “sand baths” and Christine and Christy got another good laugh. John 16:24 says, “ask and you shall receive that your joy may be full.” A hot mouth, a cup of sand and a lap to match it, every year we ask for a joyful trip to the beach. And we get it, mostly!

If you want to know the intricacies of a subject, the best thing to do is find an expert, someone who has far-reaching experience with it.
 
Although David is rightfully known as one of the greatest saints in Scripture, identified uniquely as the man after God’s own heart, he is also known as one of the greatest sinners in Scripture.
 
On one hand, we remember him for his heroic exploits and tender heart toward God and others. On the other hand, we remember him for his sin of adultery with Bathsheba as well as his sin of murder in an attempt to cover it up.
 
Clearly, he had missed the mark. Clearly, he had had fallen short of the law’s demands. As a result, his life became crooked and twisted, and he reaped the results of his sins.
 
But God also gave David a second chance. In Psalm 32 he wrote, “Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!” (verse 1 NLT). David was speaking of what God had done for him.
 
Then in verses 3 and 4, David described the futility and misery of unconfessed sin: “When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat” (NLT).
 
It’s miserable to live in unconfessed sin. Proverbs 28:13 tells us, “People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy” (NLT).
 
We can’t put sin in a compartment and think that’s the end of it. Sin stinks. Its stench will permeate everything and mess up every aspect of our lives. That is why it needs to be dealt with.
