Following the selection of His original 12 disciples, and early in His earthly ministry, Jesus selected 70 men and sent them forth two by two from city to city to prepare the way for His ministry and a great harvest of souls (Luke 10:1-20). He warned these men that they would encounter opposition, hardship, and danger. He empowered them to work miracles (heal the sick, etc.) in cities where they were received and instructed them to tell people, “The Kingdom of God is nigh unto you.” He told them a Day of Judgment is coming, and the judgment of God will fall on those that reject the kingdom message, because accepting or rejecting Jesus is the same as accepting or rejecting the God (Jehovah) that sent Jesus. The seventy went forth and returned rejoicing that even the devils (demons) obeyed them in the name of Jesus. Jesus revealed that the obedience of demons in the name of Jesus is a foretaste of Satan being kicked out of heaven (at the middle of the Tribulation Period: Rev. 12:7-12) and the ultimate victory and deliverance of those that trust Him. He said unto the 70, “Rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Christians that are concerned about what may happen in the coming weeks and months (forced vaccinations, tracking everyone, transition to a digital currency, persecution, losing their stuff, etc.) should focus on spiritual things. Instead of rejoicing over your earthly freedoms, successes, etc. (in reality, gifts from God), rejoice:
Here are current events that seem to indicate that it is getting close. One, concerning world government: things are happening that need to be constantly watched. To review and set the stage for the latest: First, there were two globalist meetings in Jan. 2023 (The WHO International Health Regulations Review Committee, IHRRC, and the WEF Annual Meeting) that submitted proposals (proposed International Health Regulations—called IHRs or global laws) to be voted on at the upcoming WHO Assembly Meeting on May 21-30, 2023. The IHRs are designed, if passed by a simple majority, to give the WHO Director-General medical and scientific sovereignty over every nation and person on earth. Second, in mid-Feb. 2023, it was reported that the Biden administration was planning to sign a legally binding document with the WHO Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB) at an upcoming meeting (Feb. 27-Mar. 3, 2023) that would require the U.S. to obey WHO IHRs (global laws) without the approval of Congress or voters in the U.S. Here is the latest information that I have (and I don’t pretend to know or rightly understand everything that is happening or that what I read is right): First, I know that the INB meeting did occur (Feb. 27-Mar.3, 2023), but I do not know if Biden signed an agreement that would require the U.S. to obey the WHO IHRs (global laws). Another INB meeting has been scheduled for Apr. 17-20, 2023. Second, on Feb. 28, 2023, Republicans in the Senate warned that they will oppose efforts by the Biden administration to require the U.S. to obey WHO IHR’s unless the U.S. Senate approves it. Third, on Mar. 1, 2023, it was reported that if the WHO IHR’s are approved at the WHO Assembly Meeting, May 21-30, world leaders will be given a short period of time to put them into effect. Fourth, on Mar. 3, 2023, it was reported that there are two sets of legislation pending in the House of Representatives to stop the U.S. from surrendering to this WHO power grab. Three, concerning reprobate minds: in Canada, on Mar. 1, 2023, it was reported that most of the provinces of Canada have insurance that covers transition surgeries for the gender confused at taxpayer expense, but Canadian Prime Min. Trudeau wants to expand the coverage to include voice feminization and breast augmentation. It is too early to tell if this will be approved, but some ask why is it necessary for taxpayers to pay for gays to change their voice or enlarge their breasts. Four, concerning deceit and corruption in the U.S. government: on Mar. 2, 2023, The Gateway Pundit reported that a Rasmussen Poll found that more than 60% of likely voters believe the Jan. 6, 2021, riots were provoked by government agents. Some Democrats in the House and Senate (Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer, to name two) are going ballistic over House Speaker McCarthy’s decision to release video of the riots to Tucker Carlson, but 80% of likely voters (including many Democrats) believe it is important for the public to see all the videos. If truth and justice have prevailed by locking some citizens up with no hope of release, why are some Democrat leaders opposing the release of the videos? Five, concerning deceit in the U.S. government and tracking everyone: on Feb. 28, 2023, in testimony before a House Select Subcommittee, Dr. Marty Makary, Professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, said, “The greatest perpetrator of misinformation during the (Covid) pandemic was the U.S. government.” Makary cited a long list of government false statements, an authoritative study that refuted some of them, experts that refuted some of them, and the report noted that the release of Twitter Files verifies that the U.S. government deliberately tried to silence experts on many of the issues. It is important to understand that the government that was perpetrating false information wants to keep records on every U.S. citizen and control their life. Six, concerning the moral decline of America, Rachel Levine is Pres. Biden’s Assistant Sec. of Health. Levine is the father of two boys, a biological man that divorced his wife, started wearing a bra and identifying as a woman. Everyone knows that a man does not become a woman by growing long hair and cross-dressing, but someone with a reprobate mind might think he can. Anyway, on June 6, 2023, a new children’s book will be released that is titled She Persisted: Rachel Levine. The book will promote Levine as an inspirational figure that cross-dresses and rose against the odds. It will be advertised as suitable for children that are 6-9 years old. Seven, concerning the moral decline of America, on Mar. 2, 2023, Patrick Wojahn, the gay mayor of Maryland, Ind., was arrested on charges of possessing child pornography. Wojahn once noted that Pete Buttigieg (former mayor of South Bend, Ind., and now Pres. Biden’s gay Sec. of Transportation) is his mentor. Wojahn said he attended a meeting with Buttigieg at the White House during the Obama administration (some think Obama is gay). Wojahn said, “I now serve in a leadership role as vice chair of city livability and bicycling in part due to his (Buttigieg’s) mentorship.” I must admit that I don’t know what the vice chair of city livability and bicycling does, and I think this is the first time I have heard of that position in government, but I guess that is one of the more important things the U.S. Sec. of Transportation has worked on. Eight, concerning reprobate minds and a global moral decline: this week, a priest in Maryland said, “A blanket of insanity has fallen upon the earth.” He referenced an all-out assault against the unborn and those who defend them, the push for transgender mutilations of the young, the use of puberty-blocking drugs on innocent young children, the sexualization of children through drag shows and pornography in public libraries and schools, and the fact that prime-time TV recently depicted and celebrated Satan worship. He rightly declared that this all-out satanic assault is coming from the White House and the president’s entire political party. (My opinion: Killing and mutilating children, same-sex marriage, etc., are part of the globalist agenda to reduce the population of the earth. Satan’s influence over many of our leaders is so strong that the FBI has been weaponized against pro-lifers, the FBI has created a “threat tag” for pro-lifers, some pro-lifers have been arrested for silently praying outside abortion clinics, etc. It is the U.S. government’s persecution of citizens for legally praying, speaking, etc.). Nine, concerning lukewarmness and a falling away in the Church at the end of the age: since 1686, Church members and citizens in Denmark have celebrated The Great Prayer Day on the fourth Friday after Easter. Businesses close, and there are no tax collections on that day. Anyway, Denmark’s parliament has canceled The Great Prayer Day because they want the taxes that can be collected by keeping the businesses open. (My opinion: With more prayer, Denmark might not need the taxes.) Ten, concerning the Antichrist and False Prophet requiring a Mark in the right hand or forehead to track all buying and selling during the Tribulation Period: on Mar. 5, 2023, an article in The Expose by Rhoda Wilson says:
According to the Bible, those that take the Mark of the Beast in their right hand or forehead during the Tribulation Period will not be saved, and they will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire (Rev. 14:9-10). Eleven, concerning lawlessness: theft is one of six sins that will be prevalent during the Tribulation Period that people will not repent of (Rev. 9:20-21). On Mar. 4, 2023, it was reported that the last two Walmart stores in Portland, Oregon, will soon close because of increased shoplifting and the failure of government officials to do anything about it. Other Portland companies that have also closed for the same reason include Raind PDX, Nike, and Cracker Barrel. Hundreds of people are losing their jobs while their government refuses to act. I agree that it is more than worth a look in these days when there seems to be an unstoppable march toward war among the nuclear powers. But there is Someone who can—and I believe will—stop that march, at least stop such a catastrophic conflict this side of the Rapture of God’s people. The fear of nuclear war is now again on the rise, according to email I’m getting. So I’m reposting the article originally posted May 2 of 2022. My thinking hasn’t changed as I pray on the matters involved and search the Scriptures. Nuclear Neurosis and Prophetic Prognosis The diplomats of the world are making noise about Russia more and more looking like it will come to the nuclear option in finally defeating the Ukrainians. Thus, more and more people are becoming nervous that we are headed for World War III. The worry—the threat—has always been that, once a nuclear weapon has been used, things will escalate until all-out atomic war results. All the big nukes on all the tips of the ICBMs and other delivery systems will be unleashed. Planet earth will be turned into a cinder–or at the very least, it will be made inhabitable. Russian President/dictator Vladimir Putin, among wanting more control and power in his region of hegemony, wants to secure the wheat and other grains of Ukraine to add to Russia’s considerable grain possession. In this way, he will control the food of the world—at least to a considerable extent. It is said that, even now, Putin and his top adjutants are hunkered in underground facilities for protection from the nuclear exchanges that are to come. Of course, a lot of things are said these days about a lot of things. In fact, a lot has been said about a lot of things for a long time. We have heard that economic collapse is coming within days for—literally—years, even decades. We have been told that the polar ice is melting at a rate that would bring the edges of New York harbor to downtown Manhattan and up to the first or second floor of the Empire State building within anywhere from twenty to forty years. Actually, the levels in New York Harbor haven’t changed significantly since the warnings were issued. All of that is not to say nuclear exchanges couldn’t happen. I believe, as do many who believe in God’s Word, that at least one city of the world is going to experience perhaps a nuclear strike. I’m referring, of course, to Damascus, Syria, which will become a heap of rubble within a very short time. This doesn’t mean necessarily that it will be a nuclear weapon that does the destruction. It might be a meteorite, or even possibly one of the planet’s greatest earthquakes ever. But Damascus is going to cease being a city, and in a very short moment of time. God’s prophetic Word has said so. It will happen, according to the prophecy in Isaiah chapter 17. And God’s prophetic Word is the only reliable source to depend upon when it comes to future events. Everything else is just guesswork. The guesswork might be based upon strong evidence, but it’s still guesswork. God’s prophetic utterances are 100 percent reliable. And it is for this reason that we can examine the nuclear neurosis going around these days under God’s stethoscope in order to get a 100 percent accurate prophetic prognosis about whether all-out nuclear conflict will occur in the days just ahead. First, we look at a news item from a less-than-reliable source the majority of Americans still go to for news. Vladimir Putin has been ignoring those in his inner circle who warn of economic ruin if his invasion of Ukraine continues, it has been claimed. Kremlin officials are becoming “increasingly” worried Vladimir Putin could use limited nuclear weapons as part of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Officials at high levels of government spoke to Bloomberg, claiming they believed the invasion was a “catastrophic” mistake which will set Russia back years. Speaking on condition of anonymity, the Kremlin sources said there is no sign Putin will change his mind and faces no direct challenge within the walls of the Kremlin. He has also repeatedly ignored those who have attempted to warn him of the crushing effects his war could have on Russia’s economic and political future, destroying two decades of growth… Some said they share fears voiced by the US that Putin will turn to a limited nuclear war, in which two nuclear superpowers engage in a direct confrontation which does not end in either a surrender or massive destruction. However, US officials have clarified there is “no practical evidence” nuclear weapons will be used imminently. The CIA said Putin could turn to using a tactical or low-yield nuclear weapon out of “potential desperation” to claim a small victory. (“Putin officials ‘increasingly worried’ he could unleash limited nuclear weapon,” News Yahoo.com UK) The gist of the news story, in my view, has a specific purpose: to ramp up fear of a nuclear conflict to divert the attention of voters from other issues of political importance to the globalist power brokers. But that is a story for another time. The thing to look at here is that God is completely in control—not the power brokers who can, and will eventually (during the Tribulation), unleash war…of the nuclear sort. So, looking at the matter of the nuclear neurosis through the heavenly stethoscope, we come to Jesus’ words I’ve brought to our attention many times. They speak directly to our day. Jesus’ words do not equivocate on the condition of the world when He will next make His presence known to all on the earth. It will be the Rapture that will occur in times exactly like they were in the time of Lot in Sodom. There is no indication whatsoever, prior to the catastrophic intervention by Christ, of nuclear war that devastates the planet. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. All deposits at Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank will be fully guaranteed and will be available on Monday. Of course the Federal Reserve can’t just make an exception for these two banks. If they are going to do this for them, that means that they are going to have to do it for everyone else too. So what this means is that from this point forward the Federal Reserve is essentially promising to guarantee every bank account in America. Considering the fact that more than 19 trillion dollars is deposited with U.S. banks, that is quite a promise to make. I want to show you that I am not exaggerating one bit. The following is the announcement about this new plan that was just posted on the official website of the Federal Reserve… To support American businesses and households, the Federal Reserve Board on Sunday announced it will make available additional funding to eligible depository institutions to help assure banks have the ability to meet the needs of all their depositors. This action will bolster the capacity of the banking system to safeguard deposits and ensure the ongoing provision of money and credit to the economy. The Federal Reserve is prepared to address any liquidity pressures that may arise. The additional funding will be made available through the creation of a new Bank Term Funding Program (BTFP), offering loans of up to one year in length to banks, savings associations, credit unions, and other eligible depository institutions pledging U.S. Treasuries, agency debt and mortgage-backed securities, and other qualifying assets as collateral. These assets will be valued at par. The BTFP will be an additional source of liquidity against high-quality securities, eliminating an institution’s need to quickly sell those securities in times of stress. With approval of the Treasury Secretary, the Department of the Treasury will make available up to $25 billion from the Exchange Stabilization Fund as a backstop for the BTFP. The Federal Reserve does not anticipate that it will be necessary to draw on these backstop funds. After receiving a recommendation from the boards of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Federal Reserve, Treasury Secretary Yellen, after consultation with the President, approved actions to enable the FDIC to complete its resolutions of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank in a manner that fully protects all depositors, both insured and uninsured. These actions will reduce stress across the financial system, support financial stability and minimize any impact on businesses, households, taxpayers, and the broader economy. The Board is carefully monitoring developments in financial markets. The capital and liquidity positions of the U.S. banking system are strong and the U.S. financial system is resilient. Depository institutions may obtain liquidity against a wide range of collateral through the discount window, which remains open and available. In addition, the discount window will apply the same margins used for the securities eligible for the BTFP, further increasing lendable value at the window. The Board is closely monitoring conditions across the financial system and is prepared to use its full range of tools to support households and businesses, and will take additional steps as appropriate. Please don’t just skim those paragraphs. Take the time to read them in detail, because what the Fed just did literally changes everything. From now on, nobody will have to worry that their bank will fail, and the Fed has decided to completely end the war against inflation. If the technical language confuses you, here is Zero Hedge’s translation… Translation: the Fed’s hiking cycle is dead and buried, and here comes the next round of massive liquidity injections. It also means that the Fed, Treasury and FDIC have just experienced the most devastating humiliation in recent history – just 4 days ago Powell was telling Congress he could hike 50bps and here we are now using taxpayer funds to bail out banks that have collapsed because they couldn’t even handle 4.75% and somehow the Fed has no idea! That analysis is right on the money. I warned that our system could not handle higher interest rates, and higher rates were directly related to the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank. So there won’t be any more rate hikes. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the Fed started cutting rates very soon. In addition, all of the fresh money that the Fed will be injecting into the financial system now will be highly inflationary. We are being told that the Fed’s plan won’t cost taxpayers a dime, but the truth is that inflation is a tax on all of us. So the financial community may be praising this “extraordinary intervention” by the Fed, but there will inevitably be a very high price to pay for spraying money around so recklessly. But what other choice did the Fed have? As I have repeatedly warned my readers, our fundamentally flawed system simply cannot survive without artificial support. And as Bill Ackman has noted, if the Fed had just stood by and done nothing we would have been facing a nightmare scenario as early as next week… Over the past several days, we really did come to the brink of the abyss. But now the Federal Reserve has come charging to the rescue and so everything is okay, right? I wish that was actually true. As a result of the Fed’s reckless rate hiking strategy, U.S. banks are now sitting on 620 billion dollars of unrealized losses. That is “billion” with a “b”, and that is a ticking time bomb that is not going to go away any time soon. Meanwhile, the housing bubble is imploding, we are heading into the worst commercial real estate crisis in all of U.S. history, and now faith in the U.S. banking system has been greatly shaken. This crisis is not even close to over. And every time there is a new eruption somewhere, the Fed will try to put the flames out with generous injections of fresh liquidity. Virtually everyone applauds when the Fed starts spraying money around, but by now all of us should realize that this story is not going to have a happy ending. We were on our way to a speaking engagement in Fresno, California, and the higher we drove up the eastern slope of this great mountain range, the thicker the veil became. We could scarcely see more than 8-10 feet in front of us. We eventually started our descent down the western side, and the dense mist slowly dissipated. It was not so much that the fog was melting away, but that we were driving out of it. From our vantage point, the vapor shroud was lifting the closer we got to our destination. Similarly, the closer we get to the end times, the clearer God’s revelation becomes. From a distance, it is difficult to see how the prophecies of Scripture will unfold. The sixth century BC prophet, Daniel, experienced this sense of bewilderment as God revealed to him details about the future Tribulation period and coming Messianic Kingdom. Daniel and his contemporaries could not possibly have understood all the details in the prophecies God gave him. “Although I heard, I did not understand,” Daniel wrote. He wondered, “What shall be the end of these things” (Daniel 12:8)? God explained to Daniel that as knowledge increases, people will “run to and fro” trying to figure out what God’s revelation means (Daniel 12:4). Two hundred years before Daniel, the prophet Amos said something similar. For thousands of years, people have wandered “from sea to sea, and from north to east,” they have “run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,” but have been unable to fully comprehend how God’s prophecies will come about (Amos 8:12). However, as time passes, and knowledge increases, we will be able to understand God’s prophetic Word better than Daniel or Amos did. The fog of uncertainty will lift, and things will make more sense. We are living in unprecedented times, prophetically. The stage is being set like never before as we draw closer and closer to the Rapture. Prophecies that seemed far-fetched, even impossible, are now easily understood. How can the Antichrist possibly track every human being on earth? That is where digital ID’s and central bank digital currencies come in. How can the Antichrist die and come back to life? That is where artificial intelligence and the transhumanist biodigital convergence explain the mystery. How can the Antichrist desecrate the temple in Jerusalem, when there was no Israel on the world map for more than 1,800 years? The reestablishment of Israel as a nation in 1948 answers that question. Many of the prophecies of Scripture have been sealed until “the time of the end” (Daniel 12:9). As we approach that time, the fog is lifting. Students of Bible prophecy today can look back over history and see the significance of much of what Daniel and other prophets predicted in God’s Word. For those with ears to hear and eyes to see (Revelation 13:9), the signs are everywhere. As the fog lifts, the scenery is beautiful because it reminds us that God is working out His plan precisely as He said He would. At the same time, the landscape can be unsettling as we see more clearly, especially for those who do not know the Lord. Daily Jot: Gabriel’s Vision of Revelation - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Around the year 2000 a Bedouin man found a three-foot stone tablet in the Dead Sea area that many scholars believe foretells the death and resurrection of the Messiah. Known as Gabriel’s Vision of Revelation, the words inked instead of carved on the tablet appear to refer to the Messiah rising three days after his death. Some say this is the “missing link” between Christianity and Judaism. Others argue the interpretation questions the veracity of the resurrection of Christ. Still others call into question the interpretation of the tablet because previous reports by scholars indicate that the words are indecipherable. This is a story worth relating as we approach Passover and holy days of Christ’s death and resurrection. A professor of Bible Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel Knohl, said in 2008 that the tablet’s inscription means that Christians adopted a widely held messianic story in Judaism and applied it to Christ. Knohl said, “Resurrection after three days becomes a motif developed before Jesus, which runs contrary to nearly all scholarship. What happens in the New Testament was adopted by Jesus and his followers based on an earlier messiah story.” Perhaps Professor Knohl and others like him would like to live in the fantasy world that Christ did not exist other than as a mythical character who claimed to be the Son of God. There are many so-called experts like Professor Knohl who question the accuracy of the Bible, especially considering the death and resurrection of Christ. If they understood the context of Bible in its entirety, they would know that there are some 60 major Old Testament prophecies pointing to the Messiah—fulfilled by Christ–not just some–but every one of them. Several prophecies regarding the Christ are found in Isaiah 53. In particular, Isaiah 53:12 says, “…he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” Zechariah 12:10 speaks specifically to the crucifixion: “…and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son.” Isaiah 25:8 and 9 say, “He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord has spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” Why then do the likes of Professor Knohl not understand these things? While it’s great to be responsible, take care of yourself, and be resourceful, you don’t have to do all of that at the age of five. Responsibilities will come soon enough. What a different life childhood is. Some people don’t realize this, but you can’t be a child again. The Bible teaches that, as Christians, we are to be childlike in our faith. Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven” (Matthew 18:3–4 NLT). That means we need to humble ourselves and realize that we don’t have all the answers. It means we need to come in complete dependence on God, putting our faith in Him. And as the years pass by and our faith deepens, we need to keep a sense of childlike simplicity and wonder. There are some areas of the Christian life in which we are to be childlike. We don’t need to know all the intricacies of evil. On the other hand, there are areas in our lives in which we need to grow up spiritually. Sometimes we behave like spoiled children when we should be behaving like mature people of God. The apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth, “Dear brothers and sisters, don’t be childish in your understanding of these things. Be innocent as babies when it comes to evil, but be mature in understanding matters of this kind” (1 Corinthians 14:20 NLT). There is nothing wrong with being spiritual babies when we’re new in the faith. But as the years pass by, we need to become mature, while still maintaining a childlike faith.
