Reserved by God: Do the Jewish People Have a Right to The Land of Israel? – By David Reagan - https://harbingersdaily.com/reserved-by-god-do-the-jewish-people-have-a-right-to-the-land-of-israel/
There are many prophecies about the re-establishment of Israel in the end times, but my favorite is a symbolic prophecy. Look at Isaiah 66:7-8, “Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.” How many of you women have ever given birth before the birth pains? They come before the birth, not after. This prophecy says, “No! The labor pains will come after the birth.” “Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once?” And then the birth pains came. What exactly happened was that on May 14, 1948, the nation of Israel was declared, and on the very next morning five Arab nations attacked Israel. Since the time Israel was re-established there have been constant birth pains through constant wars. Israel experienced the birth pains during the war of 1948-49, known as the War of Independence. There was the Suez War waged in 1956. There was the Six Day War waged in 1967. There was the Yom Kippur War waged in 1963. The Lebanese War was waged in 1982. The First Intifada, which is the first Arab uprising in Israel occurred from 1987-93. The First Gulf War was fought from 1990-91. Then there was the second Arab uprising from 2000-2005. The Hezbollah War was fought in 2006. The Gaza War was waged in 2009. The Second Gaza War exploded in 2014. The Israelis, from the moment their nation was rebirthed, have lived in a constant state of war. Israel has had to defend itself over one war after another after another. The birth pains have continued to this day. A whopping 350 million Arabs surround little Israel today, but this tiny nation has defied all odds by continuing to exist. Israel is a miracle of God! And let me tell you something, Israel will continue to exist. The end time prophecies make that very clear. Look at Zechariah 12:6. In that day…” (Zechariah when he uses that term is talking about the end times) “will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left…” A miraculous revival of Israel’s military power in the end times is what this prophecy is talking about, and that is exactly what has happened. The Palestinians in Prophecy Where do the Arabs fit into end time Bible prophecy? Just as God made a covenant with the Jews through Abraham’s son Isaac and his son Jacob, God also made a promise to the Arab people. Most people are not aware of this. God made a covenant with Abraham’s other son, Ishmael, known today as the Arab peoples, and you can find that covenant in Genesis 16 and 17. What were the promises God made to the descendants of Ishmael? Firstly, God promised Abraham, “I will multiply your descendants exceedingly.” Today there are 350 million Arabs living in the Middle East. Secondly, God said He would make Ishmael’s descendants into a great nation. And, they are! Thirdly, God gave the Ishmaelites all the land east of Canaan. And, He has! Fourthly, God would give the Arabs a personality like a wild donkey. Very interesting comparison! Fifthly, Ishmael’s descendants would have a warlike spirit. Their hands will be against everyone. So, those are the promises God made about the descendants of Ishmael. Let’s looks at thee fulfillment of God’s promises to Ishmael. Today, the Arab world spans the Middle East and North Africa. God said He was going to provide them with a lot of land, and He certainly did give them a whole lot of land. Today there are more than 350 million Arabs inhabiting 22 Arab nations. The Arab’s control 5.3 million square miles of oil rich land. The Arabs are indeed characterized by an inability to get along with anyone, even including themselves. If Israel were to disappear tomorrow, there would still be wars in the Middle East. In one war between Iran and Iraq over one million people were killed. Then Iraq invaded Kuwait and wanted to take over all the Middle East. The Arabs cannot even get along with each other, much less the rest of the world. By comparison, there is only one Jewish state with a population of 9 million Jews who are squeezed into a living area of only 8,000 square miles. You would think with those such overwhelming numbers the Arabs would be satisfied with the land they have, but no, they want all of Israel’s territory as well. In truth, they yearn to destroy their half-brother Israel. That is a population ratio of 60 to 1, and a land ratio of 662 to 1! Regarding the so-called Palestinians, it is very interesting that from 70 AD until 1948 AD, the year when Israel was re-established, Jerusalem had never been the capital of any Arab state. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab state, only of the Jewish state. Also, there has never been a Palestinian state. Antisemetics will tell people that all the problems in the Middle East are tied to the day that the Jews returned and “ran all the Palestinians out and took over their homes.” What a lie! There has never been a Palestinian state. The Arabs who lived in the Levant considered themselves to be Syrians. Historically proven, there never has been any Palestinian identity. There has never been a Palestinian culture. There was never any Palestinian language. It just simply doesn’t exist! The idea of a Palestinian state, a people who were illegally displaced by the Jews, is pure propaganda developed by the Arabs after the Six Day War in 1967. It is very important to keep in mind that the Palestinians already have a state. They already have a state and it is called Jordan. Some 75% of all the people who live in Jordan consider themselves Palestinians. So, when the Palestinians cry out to the world that they need a state, the truth is, they already legally have a state, and it’s called Jordan. The Land Restored Let me tell you, very few Syrians lived in the Holy Land. Most of the people were absentee landlords because the area was a wasteland. When the Jews were forced by the Romans to leave the area, Israel became a wasteland. By the 20th Century, there were only 17,000 trees left in all of Israel. Only 17,000! There was not a single tree south of the Sea of Galilee. How do we know that? The Turks taxed trees and so kept records. What did these poor people living in this miserable land do? They cut down their trees so they wouldn’t have to pay taxes. That’s how we know there were only 17,000 trees left in the land. Do you know what a treeless land becomes? Erosion takes its toll, and the water becomes malaria-infested swamplands. For the last 1,900 years, Israel was an absolute wasteland. Why? God had that happen on purpose because He didn’t want anybody moving into the Promised Land. He wanted to reserve it for the Jewish people. Check out the first book that Mark Twain ever wrote titled, Innocence Abroad. It records Twain’s trip to the Holy Land in 1866. He marveled over just how barren the land was. He reported that he rode a horse for three to almost four days from the Sea of Galilee to Jerusalem, and he never saw one human being the entire time. He never saw a tree. He never saw an animal. He reported that all he saw was rock after rock after rock. It’s historically proven that there were hardly any people living in the land of Israel when the Jews began to come back. And, once they finally got there, what did the Jews do? They bought the land that God had already given them. They paid exorbitant prices to the Arabs who laughed all the way to the bank over these stupid Jews who were buying this worthless land. What the Arabs didn’t realize was that God had prophesied that when the Jews came back, the land would become like the land of the Garden of Eden. Today you can go to Israel, and indeed, it looks just like the Garden of Eden must have. Drive down the Valley of Sharon and look out the bus. On one side there are strawberry fields, and there’s a cotton field, there’s a banana plantation. Just about everything you can imagine is growing, because God has made Israel once again like the Garden of Eden. My hope is that this information will help the reader better understand that the return of the Jewish people to their homeland and the reestablishment of their state is firstly all in accordance with God’s will, and secondly, is a sure sign that we are living in the season of the Lord’s return. How Far Along is the Great Reset? - by Steve Miller - https://harvestprophecyhq.com/how-far-along-is-the-great-reset/ The World Economic Forum is one of the most outspoken advocates of changing the way our world is governed. This group is made up of exceptionally elite business executives, politicians, academics, cultural experts, media personalities, and celebrities who come from a wide variety of backgrounds yet all share one thing in common: They are globalists. Through their meetings, papers, and website, they promote agendas and policies that urge people everywhere to see themselves as one global society that needs to work together to resolve today’s most pressing issues. This perspective is clearly stated on the Forum’s website: “Because the world is an interconnected ecosystem, we believe that no issue is isolated…We believe that the world’s challenges can only be solved through engagement with all members of global society.”[1] That is, global problems require global solutions. To enact solutions on a global scale, of course, implies there needs to be some sort of global governing body that possesses the authority to enforce those solutions. When COVID-19 hit, it spread like wildfire, and overnight, it became the world’s most pressing crisis. At first, people were deeply afraid and didn’t know what to do—nor did government leaders, who reacted in widely disparate ways to this health threat. In the midst of all this chaos, the Forum saw an opportunity: In June 2020, at its fiftieth annual meeting, it officially launched what it calls the Great Reset. In conjunction with that summit, Klaus Schwab, the founder and leader of the World Economic Forum, came out with a book titled COVID 19: The Great Reset. In it, he said that the pandemic should be seen as a window of opportunity for the world to change the way it handles crises. He lamented the fact that there was an “absence of cooperation” in the world’s response to the virus—a response that had revealed a “failure of global governance and leadership.”[2] This, said Schwab, confirmed the urgent need for a change—a reset. He wrote, “To achieve a better outcome, the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed.”[3] Note the key words and phrases here: The world must. Revamp all aspects. Every country. Must participate. Every industry. Must be transformed. The World Economic Forum isn’t just making suggestions here. These are imperatives and commands. There’s more. Schwab wrote, “Since making its entry on the world stage, COVID-19 has dramatically torn up the script of how to govern countries, live with others and take part of the global economy.”[4] It has torn up the script. Of how to govern countries. Klaus went on to say, “We should take advantage of this unprecedented opportunity to reimagine our world.”[5] What did he mean by that? Here is his answer: “We must build entirely new foundations for our economic and social systems. The level of cooperation and ambition this implies is unprecedented.”[6] The Great Reset, then, is this: A complete revamping. An entirely new script. Reinventing how the world is run. Building entirely new economic and social systems. All aspects of society and all countries need to participate. At a level of cooperation never before known. The Forum isn’t alone in pushing a reset. The United Nations has its 2030 Agenda, which aims to strengthen peace and eradicate poverty in collaborative partnerships that the UN says will require the participation of all countries and all sectors of society. And the World Economic Forum has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the UN to help advance this 2030 Agenda. This brings us to an important point: While the World Economic Forum does not explicitly state their goal is to create a one-world government, it is clearly advocating a global approach to governance that pushes us in that direction. By default, any model of governance that insists on total global cooperation will vest greater control over every aspect of human life into the hands of fewer individuals. This cannot help but create the conditions that would make it easier for a one-world ruler to arise. What’s more, the very language the Forum uses to describe its vision for the Great Reset is chillingly authoritarian. So how far along is this Great Reset? It’s hard to know because we cannot yet see how our politically and culturally fractured planet will make its way to the one-world order clearly prophesied in Revelation 13:7, when the antichrist will be given authority “over every tribe and people and language and nation.” However, as we survey the geopolitical landscape around us, here are three observations that show just how vulnerable we are to the kinds of changes that can accelerate us all the faster to a one-world government. Consider the following: When the coronavirus hit, governments were quick to claim draconian emergency powers that severely prohibited people’s freedoms. They became more intrusive and authoritarian. And after government powers increase, they rarely decrease. The fear of COVID-19 led many people to be willing to give up their freedoms in exchange for the protection and security they hoped their governments could provide. Future crises can do more of the same, leading to further and more permanent losses of freedom. An enormous transfer of power occurred, with many governments eventually leaning on very few authorities who dictated how everyone should respond to the pandemic. These few authorities at agencies like the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ended up exercising power over billions of people globally. In a surprisingly short amount of time, COVID has had a devastating impact that has forever changed our world and made governments and their allied corporations or organizations more authoritarian. There is no going back. And with globalists aggressively pushing their agendas, we can be sure that every future world crisis will be exploited in the effort to move us closer to the global society they long to create. Given the trajectory we are on, the world described in Revelation 13:7 may not be very far off. Again, it is hard for us to gauge how far along the Great Reset has come because we cannot predict the future. If there is anything we’ve learned in the wake of COVID-19, it is that we live in a very uncertain world. Yet there is one truth we do know with absolute certainty: There is an even greater reset coming. The Bible tells us that when Christ returns, He will destroy all the flawed human kingdoms on this planet and replace them with His own perfect kingdom. And He alone is able to bring about the ideal world that globalists seek but will never achieve. That is a great reset we can look forward to. -- Steve Miller is the author of Foreshadows: 12 Megaclues That Jesus’ Return Is Nearer Than Ever. Everyone engages in propaganda in some form or another, and in some measure of intensity or another. We might argue over Italian food vs. Chinese food. Or more importantly, what model of education is best? In the end, the only real question is: Whose propaganda is true? One of my areas of interest is studying how the early Soviet regimes emphasized propaganda and how they crafted what I believe was a satanic agenda to sway minds and hearts. Only recently, citizens of the United States have experienced some of what Russians a hundred years ago dealt with: the government lies all the time. The Left has made a career out of manipulating language, images, and ideas. Shockingly, it works much of the time. By the way, the Soviet agenda to undermine America has continued all these years. I pray they will not be as successful as I think they have been. A key plank in this evil agenda is to divide friends. That is going on right now with regard to Christian support for Israel. I admit to frustration sometimes when people can be so easily swayed. The big thing now is to pry Christian Zionist support away from Israel itself. A recent column in the Jerusalem Post addressed this. The premise of the piece is that Benjamin Netanyahu isn’t doing enough to defend Christian Zionists against opponents; in this case Jewish antagonists in Israel. It’s no secret that in order to put together a ruling coalition, Netanyahu had to give concessions to ultra-Right groups, Orthodox parties and such. We can file this point under “Japs Bomb Pearl Harbor” headlines, as in, this is really, really old news. Netanyahu has been faced with this dilemma since he first got the top job in 1996. He always has to appease Jewish nationalist/religionist camps. Likewise (the propagandists don’t like you to think about), Leftist regimes must cobble together their coalitions by appeasing left-wing groups. It’s politics! The column in the Jerusalem Post, written by Zvika Klein, cites recent incidents: “A series of incidents, ranging in severity, have been reported since the new government was elected. One notable occurrence involved Deputy Mayor Arieh King leading a group of devout Jews to the Western Wall, chanting ‘Missionaries, go home’ as evangelical Christians attempted to celebrate Pentecost and pray for peace in Jerusalem. “More recently, at the Kotel, a Western Wall Heritage Foundation employee asked a Christian abbot accompanying Germany’s education minister to conceal his cross – an incident captured by a German reporter and widely circulated on social media.” Notice this was a rift with Germans. Can there be a more sensitive subject for Jews and Israelis than what the Germans think? A Christian group dedicated to evangelizing appears to be the issue: “The organizers explained in the invitation that the event ‘will mark the beginning of a decade of prayer, evangelism and discipleship, launching a ten-year journey of global collaboration between believers in Israel and the nations, churches of all denominations, mission organizations and ministries responding to the Commission of Jesus to see that all the world has an opportunity to hear the Good News of the Kingdom, hear and understand the Bible in their own language and be connected to a gathering of believers in a discipleship context by 2033.’ “This, as well as other texts published on the website, is what caused senior Israeli rabbis to call for their followers to demonstrate.” This prompted rabbis to encourage their supporters to demonstrate. I think what is going on here is really an effort to divide Christians and Jews. Look, I’m aware there are differences between Jews and Christians concerning the identity of the Messiah. And so that you know, I always have told my Jewish friends, religious or otherwise, that I believe my faith. I think that’s the answer you give to these questions. I am as committed to Christianity as one could be, because I believe the entire Bible is the Word of God. And it is about Christ from start to finish. At the same time, I also recognize there are unique challenges when it comes to “evangelizing” Jews. I would bet that the vast majority of Christians have no idea about Jewish experience with Christians these last 1,500 years. The persecutions driven by the Church were and are ghastly. Forced conversions. Coordination with regimes hostile to Jews (Spain, Germany, etc.). Putrid theology that demonizes the Jews, especially when it comes to Christ’s death on the cross. A pastor friend once was part of an evangelism effort in Israel, his first trip to the Holy Land. His first Sunday back he was sporting a black eye. When I asked what happened, he blurted out that he had set up a tent on the beach at Tel Aviv and was passing out gospel tracts. An Israeli came by and just punched him. Was that the right thing to do? No, of course not. But did no one brief my friend ahead of time that this was a provocative act…in Israel? Plenty of people will not see my point, but I think it’s clear. I do not agree with laws passed that ban evangelism. At the same time, I strongly believe Christians should educate themselves on this issue. Dive into Holocaust studies. Read about left-wing propaganda, that stirs trouble between Jews and their Christian supporters. Talk to Jews that have been persecuted by the Church. The world is full of bad people. It’s full of good people. There are rude rabbis. There are rude preachers. If each could put aside their egos, the recent clashes in Israel between these two cousins would subside. Just as we don’t recognize left-wing political efforts in our country (the U.S.), so too do we not see how desperately the Left is to foment tension between Christian Zionists and Jews. It’s obvious, which makes it even more aggravating. I do not agree with religious Jews being violent against Christians. I do not agree with Christians having an aggressive evangelism agenda, as in pushing tracts on Jews in their own country. The Spirit comes to those whom It will. I’ve had countless conversations in Israel, about Jesus. My friends know who I am. And I know who they are. If we could all see we’re being played by leftists, these struggles between natural allies would end. [email protected] www.patreon.com/TheGodThatAnswers The Reason for Judgment: It’s Not Immoral To Speak Up Against Evil – By Skip Heitzig - https://harbingersdaily.com/the-reason-for-judgment-it-not-immoral-to-speak-up-against-evil/ The church at Corinth was very tolerant of certain kinds of evil behavior in their midst. And instead of being ashamed over this tolerance of evil, they were actually proud of it. They were “puffed up,” as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 5:2. “It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles—that a man has his father’s wife. And you are puffed up”—that is, prideful—”and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you” (v. 1-2). The city of Corinth was a very permissive city in moral terms, and evidently, their culture was influencing the church, rather than the church influencing the community. Does this sound like today’s world? After awhile, because the culture is so strong, you get used to it. Instead of being salt and light, instead of being a strong witness, it’s just easier to go with the flow and accommodate to the thinking and values of the world around you. So the church ends up saying, “Well, you can’t judge people. We’re not supposed to do that. We can’t police everybody. Let them do what they want. Just love on them.” The Corinthian church patted themselves on the back for what is, I think, today considered to be the biggest, most important moral value in American culture—tolerance. But Paul didn’t call it tolerance. He called it pride. Because when you tolerate immorality, essentially you’re saying that you’re smarter than God. Even though God forbade it in His Word, and even though pagans forbid it, you’re above it all. You’re puffed up. You’re proud. In Revelation 2, Jesus commended the church at Ephesus for their works, their labor, and their patience, and for their resolve to not “bear those who are evil” (v. 2). He commended them not for their tolerance but for their intolerance, that they did not tolerate evil. When you confront something that is wrong or against Scripture, a moral stance that is against a biblical value, how many times have you heard people say, “Well, Jesus said, ‘Judge not, lest you be judged'”? It’s the only verse so many people know from the Sermon on the Mount (see Matthew 7:1). All it means to them is “I want to do whatever I want. Don’t tell me I can’t.” First of all, Jesus was not saying you can’t think, you can’t discern, you can’t discriminate, or you can’t judge at all. He was talking about a spirit of censoriousness, playing God and excluding people from fellowship with Him. If “Judge not, lest you be judged” means to never speak up against evil or never use discernment, then Elijah the prophet was out of line when he confronted Ahab and Jezebel. Paul the apostle was out of line when he confronted the legalists in Jerusalem. And, for that matter, Jesus was out of line when he said, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!” (Matthew 23:27). In fact, Jesus gave His disciples a command to “judge with righteous judgment” (John 7:24). But how is that done? Go back to Matthew 7. Jesus said that if you see a speck in your brother’s eye, but you have a plank in your own, first remove the plank from your own eye and then you will see clearly enough to remove the speck from your brother’s eye (see vv. 3-5). Righteous judgment is rooted in humility. That should always be your position when making a judgment. And the idea, the hope, is that it would provoke real repentance that leads to restoration. Daily Jot: Biden Ukraine bribery again confirmed - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com On February 5, 2020 the Senate acquitted President Donald Trump of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The House impeached Trump based on the claim that Trump withheld military aid to get Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden’s underhanded business deals in Ukraine. Of course, the media and the Democratic Party said that Biden was clean and that Trump abused his power and then obstructed investigations into that abuse of power. Trump kept saying that Biden was the one abusing his power to enrich himself and his family by influence peddling—exactly what Biden and the Democrats accused Trump of doing. Now three years later, the truth is coming out. On the August 25 broadcast of Fox News Channels “One Nation,” former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin said that he was fired from his job because he was investigating then-Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter and his Ukrainian company Bursima. Shokin said, “I have said repeatedly in my previous interviews that (then Ukrainian President) Poroshenko fired me at the insistence of the then-Vice President Biden because I was investigating Burisma.” During a Council on Foreign Relations discussion on January 23, 2018, Biden recalled how he threatened to withhold a billion dollars in aid to Ukraine if Poroshenko didn’t fire Shokin. Biden bragged, “I said I’m leaving here in six hours. If the prosecutor isn’t fired, you’re not getting the money…the prosecutor got fired AND they put in place someone who was solid.” Moreover, Sokin said that the Bidens received bribes for the influence. Shokin said, “I do not want to deal in unproven facts, but my firm personal conviction is that, yes, this was the case. They were being bribed. And the fact that Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in US money in exchange for my dismissal, my firing–isn’t that alone a case of corruption?” Shokin’s remarks back an 87-page joint report issued by the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Senate Committee on Finance in October 2020. The report indicated shortly after Vice President Joe Biden took over Ukraine foreign policy to fight corruption there, Hunter Biden joined the board of the company Bursima, which was under investigation by the Ukraine government. Then a $7 million bribe was paid to “shut the case.” The report also recounted that when the investigation pursued, Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in US loan guarantees to the country if the Ukrainian government did not fire the prosecutor. The prosecutor was fired and Hunter Biden was awarded millions in return. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, (R-CA) told Fox News Sunday Morning Futures that in order to get answers to questions “that the American deserve to know” surrounding Biden corruption, the House would need an impeachment inquiry. It would seem that there is already enough information to impeach Biden. But politicians are stuck in this never-ending cycle of investigations and show trials. As in 2 Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” Time to act on the information already available. Daily Devotion: The Sweetest Burden - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me. —Luke 9:23 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/the-sweetest-burden/ - Listen We seem to have lost the meaning of the cross today. It has become a mere religious symbol, an icon shrouded in religiosity. But in the first century when someone was carrying a cross through the streets, it meant only one thing: that person was going to die. So, when people heard Jesus say, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me,” they would have easily understood what He meant. Sometimes we think of a cross to bear as a trying relationship, a health problem, a challenging job, or some other tough circumstance. Those may be difficulties in life. But they are not our crosses to bear. The cross we must bear is the same for each of us. It speaks of dying to ourselves. And what that means, simply, is laying ourselves at the feet of Jesus and saying, “I want Your will more than my own.” Of course, when we talk about bearing the cross and living a crucified life, it sounds morbid and unappealing because we have a false concept of what it means. We think it means isolating ourselves in an ivory tower somewhere and never having fun, smiling, or laughing. That is how we imagine ourselves living the crucified life. But is that what it really means? Writing to the churches in Galatia, the apostle Paul said, “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20 NLT). As Jesus said, if you want to find your life, then lose it (see Luke 9:24). Thus, when we live the crucified life, it isn’t a morbid, miserable experience. It doesn’t mean that we’ve ruined our lives when we start walking with God. Rather, it’s when life begins to really happen, when life becomes full and meaningful. Because we want God’s will more than our own, we’ll have the abundant life that Jesus promised, (see John 10:10). We’re living life as it was meant to be lived. It is life to the fullest. Samuel Rutherford, a seventeenth-century theologian, said, “The cross of Christ is the sweetest burden that ever I bore. It is such a burden as wings are to a bird, or sails to a ship, to carry me forward to my desired haven.” And he was right. The cross of Christ is no burden because God’s will is better than our own. Are you bearing the cross and following Jesus? For some, this could mean suffering persecution. For others, it could mean a major change of lifestyle. It could cost us friends. But we will live life as it was meant to be lived: in the perfect will of God. So let’s commit ourselves to being disciples of Jesus Christ—not mere fair-weather followers, but true disciples. What on earth are you doing for Heaven's Sake? "Share in the Blessings and Rewards that will last Forever!" "Folks, it's all beginning to unravel. America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel. So be ready to share your faith and your hope with those who need Christ. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey 1) We need your prayers!- We proclaim the Truth of the Word of God and we are under constant spiritual and sometimes even physical attack. 2) We need your encouragement!- We need to hear from you, let us know how the Lord is blessing you through this ministry so that we can share it with others. 3) We need your input! - If you have a prophetic article or story or if there is a news related item we missed, let us know. 4) We need your financial support!- To put it quite simply, without your support, there would be no Prophecy Update. I ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with us to get the Word out and keep the world informed. Remember, your gift, no matter how small, does make a difference! You will be helping to touch lives, around the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thanks to the internet your generosity carries a global impact! - Thanks! Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 If you have been blessed by Prophecy Update and would like to help support this ministry financially.
