In a recent blog post, Now is the Time, I included these words in the introduction: “Apart from an expectation that’s firmly fixed on Jesus and His imminent appearing, I could not cope with all that I see. My “blessed hope” of seeing “the appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” has never been more precious to me than it is now (Titus 2:13). The expectation of Jesus’ appearing is the anchor of my soul during these chaotic times.” I see more threats on the horizon of our world than I could possibly explain in one article. However, I have an overwhelming peace in my soul as I witness biblical prophecy coming to life all around me. Knowing that the Lord might come for me at any moment continually calms my heart. I also sense an urgency to warn the church concerning the dark storm clouds looming on the horizon. My concern is especially for those saints that lack the biblical understanding of our day, which would enable them to understand our world from a prophetic perspective and thereby prepare their hearts for what might lie ahead. So many of them are snoozing at the worst possible time in history to do so. There’s insanely good news ahead for those of us in Christ because of His imminent appearing to take us home, but so few fix their eyes on this glorious hope. Let’s look at the bad news first. WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME Daymond Duck, one of my favorite writers on biblical prophecy, wrote an article entitled Running Out of Time, which recently appeared on the Rapture Ready Website. He specifically mentioned the food shortages and quoted these warnings from the CEO of Goya Foods, Bob Unanue : “We are on the precipice of a global food crisis.” “Americans will have to tighten their belts and consume less.” Americans “can afford higher-priced food, but other countries won’t be able to bear it.” The looming worldwide food crisis and so many other things tell us that the world is quickly running out of time before the four horses and riders of Revelation 6:1-8 begin their deadly trek across the earth. These things also signify the nearness of the time when Jesus catches us up to meet Him in the air since this must happen before the events of Revelation 6. The diesel fuel shortages looming in the eastern half of America will greatly accelerate the looming food shortages in the U.S. Last week, I listened as the head of the United Nations announced its partnership with Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum (WEF) in order to speed up the implementation of the UN's Agenda 2030. The seventeen goals of this plan are readily available on the UN’s website and they clearly depict a Marxist one-world government. The Luciferian globalists of our day have openly laid out two paths that will enable them to exert greater control over the nations of the world. The first is that of ceding America’s national sovereignty, and many other nations as well, to the World Health Organization (WHO). Leo Hohmann, an investigative reported and blogger described it this way: The WHO will be hosting its annual meeting, the 75th World Health Assembly, May 22-28 in Geneva, Switzerland, attended by delegates from at least 194 nations. It is during this Assembly that members will be voting on the amendments that will hand over additional sovereignty, control and legal authority to the World Health Organization. The WHO, if these amendments are approved, will obtain the authority to declare an international health emergency, overriding national governments.[i] Here is what Michele Bachmann, former Congressman and candidate for President, had to say about the impact of this vote upon the United States: “This means that the WHO would have decision-making authority to intervene in the United States government policy and any nation of the world without our permission. For instance, the lockdown where you see 26 million people today locked down in Shangai, China. They can’t leave their apartments or homes. The WHO would have the authority to be able to enforce that here in the United States, on whatever pretext they want. They don’t have to show data. They could do this.”[ii] It was President Biden who submitted the draconian amendments to the WHO that will result in the loss of U.S. sovereignty over all health emergencies if the delegates approve them. This is pure evil and without a doubt will result the loss of much life if the WHO approves the Biden amendments. Second, the plans to move the nations of the world to a digital currency will give the elite powerbrokers of the world the ability to impose their will upon the nations despite any and all resistance to their agenda. This will lead to the mark of the beast described in Revelation 13:15-18. If these two things happen, it will not matter how the majority votes in elections. It will not matter what they want from their government. The Luciferian elite will have the control they need to impose their New World Order on everyone and enslave the people of the world. And they have already announced their plans to accelerate their formation of this New World Order. Please know that Satan is behind all these things and his ultimate purposes are to deceive and kill people. Jesus’ apt description of the devil in John 8:44 explains much of what we in our world. THE HOPEFUL LENS OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY The church must wake up to the urgency of the hour. It may seem for some that things have taken a turn for the better, but please understand that it’s a pseudo calm before the impossible times that lie ahead in the near future. Believers need to hear and understand biblical prophecy more than ever in the history of the church. They desperately need the calm that comes from looking at the world through the eyes of biblical prophecy and eagerly awaiting Jesus’ appearing. The news events of our day are frightening; however, God’s joyful plans for our future are both comforting and encouraging (1 Thessalonians 4:18). As I said earlier, there’s insanely good news for those in Christ. The Bible tells us that:
I know it’s difficult to wait for our departure from this world. I wish that I could say that the Lord will come for us before we suffer any more from the hostility of our deadly enemy, the devil. I know that many who read this live in countries where the oppression of the enemy far exceeds what we now face in the U.S. Unfortunately, a large number of believers today have become desensitized to the imminent appearing of Jesus and have stopped watching for it. They do not know what Scripture says about the day in which we live and live without any awareness of Jesus’ imminent appearing. As a result, they easily fall prey to the deceptive lies of the mainstream media, which they hear repeated over and over again. The result is a snoozing church that remains unaware that time is running out for the world as we know it. Many believers plan for the future as though they have decades of life ahead of them; they do not. One of two things will interrupt the long-range plans of the sleeping saints in America:
I wish I could say that the Rapture will occur in next few days, weeks, or months so that we might avoid the turmoil ahead for us, but I cannot predict it’s timing. I pray that the Rapture will happen soon. I can say with absolute certainty, however, that those who know Jesus as their Savior will miss all of the Day of the Lord described in Isaiah 13 and 24 and all of the judgments of Revelation 6-18. On the one hand, we live in exciting times. We are witnessing the ancient prophecies of Scripture coming to life before our eyes in ways we could never have imagined just ten years ago. We see the kingdom of the antichrist taking shape and realize that it signifies the nearness of our homegoing. On the other hand, those who know what the Bible says about our day recognize the extreme danger of living in a world filled with deception, lawlessness, and wickedness. Pastors: as these things continue to escalate exponentially, people will show up at your church wanting to hear a biblical perspective on the chaos of our day. If you fail to put these threatening world events into the framework of biblical prophecy, they may not hear what you say regardless of how eloquently you preach. At some point, they will need to hear the specifics of the Gospel future or they will not return. I do not have all the answers as to how we rouse a snoozing church; I just know that it’s greatly needed in a day when so many Bible-believing churches remain silent on the topic or give people a false hope. The World Health Organization (WHO), the organization that has unhesitatingly been doing China's bidding during the COVID pandemic, is reportedly now planning to orchestrate a massive new power grab to internationally control the response to any future global pandemic. The plan is apparently to make the health of Americans dependent on the whims of China -- which is both actively seeking to displace the US as the world's leading superpower and has for years been working on new means of bio-warfare. It is a plan that is being voted on next week: Congress and the American public need to fight vigorously -- and FAST. On May 4, a meticulous report, Biden Handing Over U.S. Sovereignty to WHO by Peter Breggin MD and Ginger Ross Breggin, raised an alarm. On May 22-28, 2022, the Biden Administration has proposed amendments to the WHO that "will empower WHO's Director-General to declare health emergencies or crises in any nation and to do so unilaterally and against the opposition of the target nation." The danger is that China, according to reports, has actively been working on gene-splicing and globally collecting DNA with an eye to developing new lethal viruses that could be used for bio-warfare. They would be able target people who are genetically not Chinese, while bypassing people who genetically are Chinese. China expert Gordon Chang recently warned: For at least a half‑decade, maybe a little bit longer, Chinese military researchers have been openly writing about a new type of biological warfare. This was, for instance, in the 2017 edition of "The Science of Military Strategy," the authoritative publication of China's National Defense University. "They talk about a new type of biological warfare of "specific ethnic genetic attacks." In other words, pathogens that will leave the Chinese immune but sicken and kill everybody else, which means that the next disease from China can be a civilization killer.... A lot of military analysts talk about how the first seconds of a war with China are going to be fought in outer space. They are going to blind our satellites, take them down, do all sorts of stuff. Those statements are wrong. The first day of war against the United States occurs about six months earlier, when they release pathogens in the United States. Then we are going to have that day in space. The war starts here, with a pathogen ‑‑ a virus, a microbe, a bug of some kind. That is where it begins. The Biden administration's amendment will make the US legally obligated by international treaty to follow whatever the WHO decides. According to the Breggins: On May 22-28, 2022, ultimate control over America's healthcare system, and hence its national sovereignty, will be delivered for a vote to the World Health Organization's governing legislative body, the World Health Assembly (WHA). This threat is contained in new amendments to WHO's International Health Regulations, proposed by the Biden administration, that are scheduled as "Provisional agenda item 16.2" at the upcoming conference on May 22-28, 2022. These amendments will empower WHO's Director-General to declare health emergencies or crises in any nation and to do so unilaterally and against the opposition of the target nation. The Director-General will be able to declare these health crises based merely on his personal opinion or consideration that there is a potential or possible threat to other nations. If passed, the Biden Administration's proposed amendments will, by their very existence and their intention, drastically compromise the independence and the sovereignty of the United States. The same threat looms over all the U.N.'s 193 member nations, all of whom belong WHO and represent 99.44% of the world population.... These regulations are a "binding instrument of international law entered into force on 15 June 2007." U.N. members states can be required by law to obey or acquiesce to them.... The targeted nation is also required to send WHO any relevant genetic sequence data. Worse: The contents of the proposed amendments were not made public until April 12, 2022, leaving little time to protest before the scheduled vote. The amendments would give WHO the right to take important steps to collaborate with other nations and other organizations worldwide to deal with any nation's alleged health crisis, even against its stated wishes. The power to declare health emergencies is a potential tool to shame, intimidate, and dominate nations. It can be used to justify ostracism and economic or financial actions against the targeted nation by other nations aligned with WHO or who wish to harm and control the accused nation. In addition: The sweeping new powers will be invested in the Director-General of WHO to act on his own. The Director-General is Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, commonly known as Tedros. Tedros, the first non-physician director-general of WHO, is an extremely controversial Marxist activist and politician from Ethiopia installed by the Chinese Communist Party. And: Under the new regulations, WHO will not be required to consult with the identified nation beforehand to "verify" the event before taking action. In 2020, the Trump administration initiated pulling the U.S. out of the WHO because of its wretched track record during the COVID pandemic. It was slow to identify the threat of COVID, and differential to the wishes of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in its messaging about COVID despite questions from Taiwan about the human-to-human transmissibility of the virus, which the CCP was falsely denying and the WHO simply ignored. The WHO was also unable to convince the CCP for the need for greater transparency, or even allow an open discussion about the origins of the virus. Early on, the WHO embraced the CCP narrative that the virus had developed naturally, and attacked any mention that the virus might have escaped from a Chinese laboratory in Wuhan. Memories of how the global community responded to the pandemic are still fresh in everyone's mind. Many members of the diplomatic corps in the Netherlands, at the time, acknowledged the poor record of the WHO but believed that pulling out of the WHO during the pandemic would be a mistake. They also believed an after-action review of the WHO would have to wait until the pandemic was under control; then there could be accountability and reform for this failed organization. Boy, were they wrong. As the pandemic is now waning, instead of an accountability review, the WHO and member states are envisioning a massive expansion of its role as an international organization to control the planet during the next pandemic. Unfortunately, this "next pandemic" is neither far off nor a hypothetical "conspiracy theory." According to multiple credible reports from the U.S. Department of State, to the executive director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, Peter Jennings, China has been preparing for bio-warfare using pathogens for more than six years. The United Nations has been furthering this scheme. According to the Breggins: On January 26, 2022, the same U. S. Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva sent a one-page memo to WHO confirming that the amendments had been sent. It also contained a brief report by the same Loyce Pace, Assistant Secretary for Global Affairs HHS. Most importantly, the memo listed all the nations backing the U.S. amendments. The size and power of the group guarantee that the amendments will be passed if unopposed by significant outside pressure. Here are the 20 nations, plus the European Union, listed by the U.S. as supporting the amendments: Albania, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, India, Jamaica, Japan, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, Peru, Republic of Korea, Switzerland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States of America, Uruguay, Member States of the European Union (EU). The European Union, a globalist organization, has been among the biggest backers of increasing WHO"s global power. China has, for years, been "collecting the DNA of foreigners while prohibiting Chinese DNA to foreign researchers," according to Chang. He added that the country's behavior of collecting the DNA of foreigners while prohibiting Chinese DNA to foreign researchers supports this theory. "We've got to be extremely concerned because that is not consistent with a country that wants to cooperate with the rest of the world. That is consistent with a country developing biological weapons," he cautioned. "People have said biological weapons don't work. Well, we do know they work because we had the coronavirus, which may or may not have been a biological weapon," Chang clarified, "but we do know that it crippled the United States and that's what Beijing is really looking for. Unfortunately, the evidence is overwhelming. On May 7, 2021, journalist Sharri Markson disclosed in The Australian that: Chinese military scientists discussed the weaponisation of SARS coronaviruses five years before the COVID-19 pandemic, outlining their ideas in a document that predicted a third world war would be fought with biological weapons. The document, written by People's Liberation Army scientists and senior Chinese public health officials in 2015, was obtained by the US State Department as it conducted an investigation into the origins of COVID-19, The Weekend Australian has confirmed. The Australian added: "Robert Potter, a digital forensics specialist who has worked for the US, Australian and Canadian governments, and has previously analysed leaked Chinese government documents, verified the authenticity of the document," Despite its obvious failures and kowtowing to the Chinese Communist Party, there are nevertheless those -- one can only imagine why -- who apparently see a WHO ruled by China as capable of assuming this global role. These countries have sought to expand the authorities of the WHO to include legally binding requirements on all nations, a financial structure that will stabilize its position, and the ability to establish tools, norms, and protocols internationally for the next pandemic. This is how the WHO, and some member states, see the future of the WHO -- an untransparent, unaccountable international organization able to establish by edict how the world and nations must respond to future health crises. Countries regrettably embracing this call include the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, as well as the head of the European Union. Although it does not seem logical, these countries -- apart from the UK which by now should know better -- have historically put unfounded faith in the success and primacy of international organizations. The refrain often offered in diplomatic circles when discussing failed international organizations is "better together." Better to be talking in the confines of failed or failing international organizations than to fight for reform, which might require pulling out of them to create the type of pressure that would force change. Many countries promised to join the U.S. in fighting to reform the WHO once the pandemic ended. They are now fighting to expand its authority -- with no reform. A WHO with expanded authority is a terrifying concept. Can you envision providing an international organization with the power to dictate how the U.S. should responds to a future pandemic? Perhaps by forcing the U.S. to turn over supplies and equipment to China because of its larger population? Especially at a time when reports are that China is working on a virus that is even more lethal? How about an international organization that would have the power to mandate whether we should be required to be vaccinated with a particular vaccine, say China's inferior SINOVAC vaccine? Or imagine a WHO that has the power to impose what mandates or lockdowns a country would be required to impose, say like China's current lockdown of Shanghai? Unfortunately, the WHO already has proven itself to be a willing organ of China's Communist leaders. Providing it with international, legal binding authority over global pandemic response must never be allowed to happen. No country should ever give away its potential right to survival to any other country. We are seeing now how this cavalier abdication of sovereign, national responsibility is playing out with the world's betrayal of Ukraine, which gave up its nuclear arsenal in the Budapest Memorandum of 1994 in exchange for fake promises -- from countries including Russia -- that its borders and sovereignty would be protected and secure. The WHO, unaccountable for its performance, is not the kind of authority we as Americans should want to see in an untransparent, unaccountable organization, especially one that appears beholden to the Chinese Communist Party. The WHO is opportunistically using the COVID pandemic to try to expand its reach and authority. The closing remarks of WHO's director general, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, at the December meeting of the World Health Assembly, were: "We are one humanity. We have one planet. We have one health. And we have one WHO. Your WHO." Congress and the Biden Administration should not succumb to this latest siren song for globalism -- or any other, frankly. America works best when it leads within the international community, not when it cedes national authority to untransparent, unaccountable organizations, particularly those which have shown that they have China's -- not America's -- best interests at heart. Nearing Midnight: Re-Thinking Rapture Issue – Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ The “what” in the old and trite saying, “what goes around comes around,” has again come around, and I must try to face the matters involved. I must do so honestly and with Holy Spirit insight–the source of inspiration I always strive to enlist in any writing endeavor. A controversy of sorts has again arisen. It involves the question of what the word apostasia means in the Apostle Paul’s prophecy in 2 Thessalonians 2. I say it has again come around because I formerly held that the word apostasia meant a spiritual departure, or “falling away.” A decade or more ago, I come to believe that apostasia means a spacial departure—a removal from one place to the other. Just recently, I have again been confronted by strong evidence that the word apostasia means “spiritual departure—a defection from the faith.” Lee Brainard’s book, The Correct Translation from the Greek Text of 2 Thessalonians 2:2–3, brought around again the question that divides highly credentialed theologians and neophytes such as myself. The ascended Jesus, through John the prophet, speaking to the true Church—the believers who will be alive at the time of His coming for them ( John 14: 1-3)—said the following: Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10) Paul prophesied the following about this very same time of God’s future “testing” the world of rebellious earth-dwellers—the time of God’s wrath. He was writing to believers—the Church. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. (1 Thessalonians 5:9–11) “The Departure” is the meaning of the Greek noun apostasia, which Paul used in his second letter to the Thessalonians. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:1–4) The “falling away” term of this passage in KJV is taken from the Greek noun apostasia. Extensive studies in the Scriptures confirm for the authors of this book that this word in almost every case means a”departure from”—a physical departure. The Thessalonians were worried that the “day of Christ” had already come, as some were telling them, and that they and their dead loved ones who had been believers had missed Paul’s prophesied departure—the harpazo (the Greek term) or the “snatching away” that Paul had prophesied in an earlier letter to them (read 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18). Paul was assuring them—and, by prophecy, all believers of the Church Age—that the “day of Christ” had not come. They would, Paul assured, be gathered unto the Lord before the Tribulation and the revealing of the son of perdition, Antichrist, took place. There would first be “the Departure.” Every spiritual weather indicator points to the Tribulation storm that is about to break upon a judgment-deserving world. Millions of believers in Jesus Christ as the one and only Savior will vanish in the twinkling of an eye—an atomos of time that can’t be divided. Each author of this book believes the Departure is about to take place. Consider carefully their words herein given. These are true spiritual meteorologists—and, in my opinion (yours truly excepted),they are true prophets of God in this latter-day sense. Look up. Lift up your head. Your redemption is drawing near. If you belong to Him, you are about to make one giant leap! So, with my book on the subject of 2 Thessalonians long ago set in type and on bookshelves, can I now change to accept that the word apostasia (the “falling away” in KJV) means “a departure from the Christian faith” rather than a “departure of believers—the Rapture”? Well…yes, I can—but I won’t do so, at least not for now. There are too many things to check out and compare. And frankly, I don’t think I’ll ever have the time to go in-depth as the scholars and others I’ve looked to for understanding have done—and then compare that to the tremendous research Lee has done on his recent work. The main thing that’s been brought to my attention by very dear friends who hold that 2 Thessalonians 2:2–3 is a spiritual rather than a spatial departure based upon the Greek term apostasia involves, they worry, whether Christians can know who Antichrist will be before the Rapture—i.e., this ability of whether to know Antichrist before the Rapture, they believe, is based upon the interpretation of apostasia. They believe that possibly being able to recognize Antichrist wouldn’t change the Rapture from being a pre-Tribulation event. The Tribulation doesn’t start until the “prince that shall come” signs the covenant of false peace with Israel and many other nation-state entities. Therefore, there is a time when Christians can and should recognize that “man of sin” before they are raptured. Those with this concern worry that if Christians see the Antichrist come to the prophetic stage, they will begin to believe we will go through the Tribulation. The pre-Trib Rapture would then be seen as wrong. The ramifications will be terrible, with suicides and other harmful actions and reactions. But if they see in the word apostasia that it is a spiritual, not a physical or spatial departure, they will understand that Antichrist isn’t necessarily “revealed” after the Rapture of the Church. There is still room, in their view, then, for the Church to recognize Antichrist. As a matter of fact, my friends believe the Antichrist is recognizable even now. His identity isn’t the point of this commentary, so I’ll not divulge it here. My own view hasn’t changed. I continue to believe it’s a physical departure. But I am willing to change if further investigation, with the Holy Spirit as guide, affirms that apostasia means a spiritual departure. If it means a spiritual departure, we have certainly been witness to that for years. True, it is getting much more apparent in these truly wicked times. Either way, our Lord is about to call us to be with Himself as given in Revelation 4:1. You will not want to miss that call by the Lord Jesus Christ. Here is the way you can be certain that you hear Him in that glorious moment! That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Flooding our economy with money was inevitably going to create an inflation crisis, and that is precisely what has happened. Back in May 2020, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States was $1.96. One year later, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States was $3.08. That was more than a 50 percent increase in just 12 months. But that wasn’t the end of the story. On Sunday, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States hit an all-time record of $4.47. Then on Monday it hit another all-time record of $4.48 per gallon. That means that the price of gasoline has risen almost another 50 percent since May 2021. Has your paycheck gone up by 50 percent during each of the last two years? Needless to say, most of you cannot answer that question affirmatively. Of course some areas of the country are being hit harder than others. In California, the average price of a gallon of gasoline has now reached $5.92. But just wait until the war in the Middle East starts. Once that occurs, it won’t be too long before many Americans are paying 10 dollars for a gallon of gasoline. Meanwhile, food prices in the U.S. are rising at a pace that is unlike anything that I have ever seen before. Just check out these extremely alarming numbers that the government released last week… Thursday’s report showed a broad-based rise in the cost of food at the wholesale level, with grains up 41.3 percent from a year ago as Russia’s war in Ukraine raises world prices. Both Russia and Ukraine are major grain producers. The cost of eggs skyrocketed 161.3 percent, driven up by a bird flu outbreak that has killed 10 percent of chickens in the US. Processed young chickens were up 24.1 percent from a year ago. Fresh vegetables were up 45.7 percent and fresh fruit rose 17.3 percent. Eating fresh vegetables is a very good thing to do. But now they will cost you 45 percent more than they did a year ago. Has your paycheck gone up by 45 percent over the past year? Sadly, food prices have been going crazy all over the globe, and this is going to hurt those on the bottom of the economic food chain the hardest. In fact, the head of the Bank of England is using the word “apocalyptic” to describe the impact that these prices will have on the poor… The Bank of England governor has blamed the war in Ukraine for the highest inflation in the UK for three decades and warned that “apocalyptic” food prices caused by Russia’s invasion could have a disastrous impact on the world’s poor. And the head of the UN World Food Program is warning that extremely painful food prices could lead to widespread civil unrest in many areas of the planet… A perfect storm of war, extreme weather and Covid-19 will drive global food prices to levels that will cause social unrest in some parts of the world, according to David Beasley, head of the United Nations World Food Programme. “If people can’t feed their children and their families, then the politics unsettles,” Beasley told CNN during a conference on Thursday. If you have been waiting for everything to “go back to normal”, you can stop. Because it isn’t going to happen. Homes are becoming a lot less affordable too. As a result of a “combination of rising home prices and higher interest rates”, the average payment on a new mortgage is now 38 percent higher than it was 12 months ago in the United States… The combination of rising home prices and higher interest rates — driven largely by the Federal Reserve’s more aggressive efforts to curb inflation — hiked monthly mortgage payments on the typical U.S. home by 19.5 percent in the first three months of the year, according to real estate listing service Zillow. Payments are 38 percent higher than a year ago. Has your paycheck gone up by 38 percent over the past year? I keep asking questions like that to point out the fact that your standard of living is being systematically destroyed. It wasn’t just an intellectual exercise when I penned long article after long article about the evils of debasing our currency. This is real. I wasn’t joking when I warned that we were committing financial suicide. Now a day of reckoning has arrived, and everyone is expecting the same clowns that got us into this mess to get us out of it. It ain’t gonna happen. Once the next major crisis comes along, our leaders in Washington will respond by borrowing and spending even more money, and the “experts” at the Fed will respond by pumping even more fresh cash into the system. And ultimately we will have the kind of horrific inflationary meltdown that I have been warning about for years. Things didn’t have to turn out this way. But the American people just kept sending big spenders to Washington, and any political candidates that dared to be critical of the Federal Reserve were considered to be “fringe”. Now we get to reap what we have sown, and it will not be fun at all. Yahoo News Senior White House Correspondent Alexander Nazaryan wrote that a Democratic Party operative told him, “I’m looking forward to making sure every American hears about the Republicans’ toxic agenda” directly from the president. Nazaryan reports that Biden pollster John Anzalone said, “We’re going to make a contrast to the American people.” Biden will use his bully pulpit to sound the alarm against those who simply want to make America great again by reversing the economic and moral death spiral Biden and his policies have caused. The mainstream media, liberal corporations, and leftist nonprofits will carry his words. It’s already started. On May 4 in response to the leaked Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v Wade, Biden said, “What are the next things that are going to be attacked? Because this MAGA crowd is really the most extreme political organization that’s existed in American history. Recent American history.” He has continued this theme since, and the Democratic Party stalwarts are singing the extreme song from the same sheet—a plan proffered by the Center for American Progress called the “GOP Branding Project.” In short, Biden and his cronies are going to try to label every Republican as extreme, bigoted, racists. They are going to attempt to make it toxic for anyone to admit to supporting a Republican candidate—the same way they say it’s hateful to oppose the abortion or homosexual agenda or even question their brand of science behind addressing COVID. Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.” Proverbs 8:13 says, “To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct, and perverse speech.” The strategy is to condemn as evil the great things that can improve America and to get Americans to hate what the Democrats say is evil. Jonathan brought along backpack full of toys and other things, and while they were hanging out with a family, Jonathan played soccer with a little boy named Anthony.
