The crisis in the Middle East has taken another very ominous turn. Iran is threatening to get directly involved in the conflict, and that should deeply alarm all of us. For a long time, I have been specifically warning my readers that an apocalyptic conflict between Israel and Iran would be coming. Sadly, now we are literally on the verge of seeing that happen. Both nations possess weapons of immense destructive power, and there is going to be so much death and destruction in the days ahead. On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared to signal that a massive military offensive in Gaza is imminent… Benjamin Netanyahu has today vowed to ‘demolish’ Hamas with Israeli troops on the Gaza border poised to attack at any moment. Israel’s armed forces is ‘ready’ to defeat the ‘bloodthirsty monsters’, the Israeli Prime Minister said, with a land, sea, and air offensive imminent. Israeli tanks and troops have gathered on the border and are carrying out simulations ready to spring an invasion of Gaza at any time after Hamas terrorists killed 1,300 Israelis in a surprise attack last Saturday. But if Israel goes in, Hezbollah has already indicated that they will almost certainly enter the conflict. Of course Hezbollah would only do that if they were directed to do so by Iran, and according to Axios Iran is now warning “that it will have to intervene if the Israeli operation in Gaza continues”… Iran sent a message to Israel on Saturday stressing that it does not want further escalation in the Hamas-Israel war, but that it will have to intervene if the Israeli operation in Gaza continues, two diplomatic sources with knowledge of the situation told Axios. Wow. So is this really it? Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has publicly stated that his nation “has its red lines”, and that “Iran will have to respond” if Israel conducts a major offensive in Gaza… But Amir-Abdollahian stressed that Iran has its red lines. He said that if the Israeli military operation continues — and especially if Israel follows through on its promise of a ground offensive in Gaza — Iran will have to respond, according to the sources. In addition, Amir-Abdollahian is also threatening America with “heavy losses” if the U.S. military decides to intervene… He accused the United States of coming forward “to preserve the statue and puppet of Israel”. “If the scope of the war expands, heavy losses will befall America as well.” I could be wrong, but I don’t expect Iran to get directly involved in the conflict right away. But I do believe that Hezbollah will jump into the war fairly soon after Israeli forces enter Gaza, and Syria could also be pulled in quite rapidly as well. This would especially be true if the IDF keeps bombing Syria’s largest airports… On Saturday, Israel allegedly launched an air strike against Syria’s Aleppo Airport. The Syrian government confirmed the attack and said, “The Israeli enemy carried out an air attack from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea, targeting Aleppo International Airport, which led to material damage to the airport and it being out of service.” The reason why the Israelis are bombing airports in Syria is because that is one of the primary ways that Iran gets weapons to Hezbollah… Referring to this development, Joel Rayburn, Director of the American Centre for Levant Studies, wrote, “Repeated Israeli strikes to disable Damascus and Aleppo airports are, to my mind, a strong indication that 1) the Iranian regime is trying to move strategic weapons to or via Syria to open a northern front and 2) the Israelis are determined to preempt that.” The Israeli official re-shared this post, stating that Iranians are engaged in arms transfers. Syria’s Damascus and Aleppo airports are known as transit points for Iranian arms sent to Hezbollah, a powerful Islamist militant group in both Syria and Lebanon. We are so close to a major regional war. The U.S. and other western powers are trying to keep Iran and Hezbollah out of the conflict, but it just isn’t working. On Sunday, there was more fighting along Israel’s northern border yet again… A Hezbollah spokeswoman, Rana Sahili, says today’s increase in the intensity of the exchanges between Israel and the Lebanese terror group doesn’t indicate Hezbollah has decided to fully enter into the Hamas-Israel war. The fighting on the border is “only skirmishes” and represents a “warning,” she says. Hezbollah is not ready to formally go to war just yet. But once the Israelis make their move in Gaza, expect Hezbollah to pull the trigger. And once that happens, the Biden administration will have a decision to make. If Hezbollah starts firing thousands of missiles into Israel, I think that the Biden administration will order strikes against Hezbollah. The two aircraft carriers that have been ordered into the eastern Mediterranean Sea have been sent there to deter Hezbollah and Iran, but they will take action if it becomes necessary… The Pentagon has ordered a second carrier strike group to the eastern Mediterranean Sea and is sending Air Force fighter jets to the region as Israel prepares to expand its Gaza operations, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement Saturday. The US warships are not intended to join the fighting in Gaza or take part in Israel’s operations, but the presence of two of the Navy’s most powerful vessels is designed to send a message of deterrence to Iran and Iranian proxies in the region, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon. The movements are “part of our effort to deter hostile actions against Israel or any efforts toward widening this war following Hamas’s attack on Israel,” Austin said in the statement. As I have discussed previously, I hope that those carriers are being kept at a safe distance, because Hezbollah does have missiles that are capable of sinking an aircraft carrier. As this conflict evolves, we are going to see images on our television screens that are going to absolutely shock all of us. So many people are going to die, and our world will be permanently changed by the horrors that we will soon witness. I’ve been there dozens of times and spent quality time with political leaders, such as Benjamin Netanyahu, and with legendary military leaders. I’ve spoken at length with regular soldiers and regular people, Jews and Palestinians. I can tell you with certainty that Israel desperately longs for peace, probably more than any other nation in the world. Look at how many times they have been willing to compromise their safety for so-called “peace agreements” where the “peace” ended up being only a mirage in the desert. But when someone comes in and murders over 1,300 of your citizens and injures over 3,000 more, what do you do? Hamas took 150 Israelis as hostages. They fired on unarmed young people at a music festival as though it were a shooting gallery. They launched thousands of missiles into civilian areas, even hitting and mostly destroying a children’s hospital. Hamas gunmen invaded Israeli neighborhoods, murdering whole families in their homes — families eating breakfasts or who were still in bed at 6:30 on a Saturday morning. The terrorists set houses ablaze. They killed scores of babies and toddlers. They beheaded babies! How should Israel respond? No matter how much it wants peace, how would any nation respond? Standing beside the Qatari Prime Minister, US Secretary of State Blinken said it well. “No country can tolerate having a terrorist group come in and slaughter its people…. What Israel is doing is not retaliation. What Israel is doing is defending the lives of its people and, as I said, trying to make sure this cannot happen again. And I think any country faced with what Israel has suffered would likely do the same thing. Imagine if this had happened in the United States.” Much of the world’s media sees this as simply another step in the Israeli-Palestinian “cycle of violence.” One side does something bad to the other and the other side reacts with something even worse. Then the first side reacts in a still stronger way. The violence grows more extreme, deepening the hatred that fuels it. Feeding on itself, this process leads to greater violence and mounting rage. And the cycle continues… or so they say. But that is not an accurate depiction of the cycle of violence at work in the Holy Land. Hamas grew out of Arab and Persian hatred for Israel. Hatred of Israel began as hatred for Jews. Hatred against Jews is a tenet of faith and an outgrowth of religious zeal. That makes it unappeasable. The real cycle of violence between Israel and Hamas works like this. Hamas attacks, and Israel reciprocates by stopping Hamas’s immediate ability to attack. Under pressure from allies, Israel does only enough to temporarily declaw Hamas. Each conflict intensifies Gazan poverty, and after each one, the world’s nations send aid. But because Hamas controls Gaza, Hamas controls the aid. Hamas gives away enough to make regular Gazans see them as a source of help. But mostly, Hamas leaders make themselves rich and rebuild their war machine. Other nations, such as Iran, hate Israel as much as Hamas does, and they give direct military aid. When strong enough, Hamas attacks again. And again, Israel stops them — still doing only enough to stop their immediate ability to make war. Nations again help. Hamas again rebuilds. And when it is strong enough, Hamas attacks again. That is the cycle of violence Israel faces. Prime Minister Netanyahu has said that it will be different this time. He believes the atrocities and war crimes of recent attacks will give his military an opportunity to bring a complete end to Hamas rule in Gaza. But even if he can depose Hamas, the nature of this conflict means that a similar group will arise. Hatred against Israel is not about land, rights, or money. It is a tenet of faith. This is the same people who ignored the bloody reality that the overwhelming majority of Muslims in the surrounding countries don't want peace; they want Israel removed permanently forever. This is even the same Democratic Party that has, not once, but twice freed up money for the world's greatest sponsor of terrorism (Iran), who suddenly flush with cash, used said cash to fund terrorism around the world. With all that said, please don't think I'm giving the Democratic party any credibility when I say the following. While Democrats are either famously oblivious, purposefully ignorant, or both when it comes to living out their border Marxist ideologies, they are exceptionally keen when it comes to seizing a moment. Nevertheless, instead of viewing their begrudged sympathies as being sincerely heartfelt, rather, what I think is happening now, is much like it was with the onset of the COVID-19 crisis in February/March of 2020. Democrats, who are obsessed with power and control, are sensing an opportunity here, especially as we come into the 2024 election cycle. It reminds me very much of Rahm Emmanual's infamous quip about never letting a good crisis go to waste. An Israeli war is a crisis they will not let go to waste. Assessment So, just to set the record straight, the same Administration that had no qualms about...
...is now somehow shocked into action in helping Israel? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad this administration is helping. I'm just not buying their motives for doing so. Yes, what Hamas did is barbaric and on the level of evil rivaled only by the Nazis and ISIS, but let's not kid ourselves. The political left is wholly given over to the influence of devils and demons, so it's not in their political DNA to help the only nation Satan is fanatical about wiping out. Neither are they squeamish about brutality. Let's face it, they've been championing Marxist ideologies and policies for decades, which have demonstrably proven responsible for killing upwards of 100 million people in the 20th Century alone. So we shouldn't be ignorant of the fact that they aren't squeamish about a few thousand dying. Safe to say that due to the horrific and unthinkable barbarisms of Hamas, and their willingness to broadcast it around the world on social media, Hamas is enthusiastically pouring fuel on their own funeral pyre. Even many of the staunchest "Liberate Palestine" morons are having a hard time justifying the level of brutality they're starting to see everywhere, which makes this an acceptable risk the Democrats are willing to take. They are willing to risk this because they think it will benefit them politically in a number of ways. Since Democrats align closer to Marxism than our own Constitutional Republicanism, it shouldn't be surprising that they would adopt the old "divide and conquer" and Hegelian Dialectics as strategies going forward. If I were able to get a message to Prime Minister Netanyahu it would be this, place your faith not in the United States, but in the God of the Bible. I would keep the US at arm's length because being our friend these days can often be more hazardous than being our enemy- as Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, Hosni Mubarak, Muammar Gaddafi, etc. have unfortunately come to find out. Now, the Israelis are incredibly intelligent and strategic. I'm sure in the back of their mind they know this but it's never a wise thing to get too deep into the US pockets in much the same we it's not wise to get in deep with loan sharks or mafioso types. More importantly, the Israeli people and their government, are unified in a way that hasn't happened since 1948 to exact retribution on the organization of Hamas, and anyone that supported them. Aside from reversing their strict personal gun laws, the Israeli government is unified in making itself the most prickly, spikey, porcupine in the Middle East. Furthermore, I agree with the Israeli leadership that retribution should be disproportionate, so as to dissuade any future groups from attempting the same thing. However, as students of the Bible and in particular, Biblical eschatology, we know that the worst is yet to come. (Zechariah 13:8, Matt. 24:15-21). Conclusion We can already see the splintering happening. Groups we (the Watchmen community) thought we could trust on most issues, find ourselves at odds with over the issue of Israel. Even approved pundits like Tucker Carlson, Tim Poole, Stephen Gardner, Redacted, Benny Johnson, and others whom I would agree with on most issues, find myself vexed at their "non-biased" and "reasonable sounding" attempts to justify US non-involvement as if the violence Hamas has done is the fault of both sides. Now, I'm not saying the aforementioned hate Israel, are openly anti-semitic, or even against Israel retaliating against Hamas. What I am saying is the very Amero-centric (America-first) sentimentality they are using to justify their position is that we should not get involved at all. Somehow, if we do approve of US military support of Israel, we are then lumped in with the rest of the NeoCons warmongers who want a military solution every time, everywhere. They just don't see this as "our" problem not worthy of American blood. I wonder if they would have held that same opinion back in 1939 when the Third Reich was on the march. Granted, this exercise in selective isolation is most commonly done by trying to either blame the Biden Administration of jump starting WW3, or as if the issue was only over land and liberation. And please excuse my anger on this, but that is absolute and utter horsecrap. Evil is evil. God created the institution of human government for the purpose of being a check against rampant lawlessness. (See Genesis 9, Romans 13). If nations didn't step up to counter rising evil, most of the world today would be speaking German, Russian, and Chinese. Despite all the brain power on the right, they're either intentionally ignorant of the historical and Biblical facts, or they know them and don't care. Either way, their ignorance of Genesis 12:1-3 will not hold them blameless when that day arrives at their doorstep. Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Gen. 12:1-3 Last time I checked, this has never been rescinded. Many of these conservative pundits and leaders, unfortunately, have succumbed to fake eschatologies such as Post Millennialism (the Church brings in the Kingdom), Amillennialism (there is no kingdom come), Post-Tribulationalism (confusion on the church and Israel), or Preterism (all prophecy ended in the past) that has inundated Christendom going back to Augustine of Hippo. Add to that all the conspiratorial nonsense we've been subjected to since the turn of the century and it has rightfully caused many Americans to become highly skeptical of anything the government does. Now, add to that the sudden and overwhelming willingness this present administration is now doing, and has done with Ukraine, as proof-positive that this is yet another foolhardy attempt to get us involved in World War3 for the singular purpose of canceling the 2024 elections. They believe they will use it as a pretext for the next major "crisis", the Deep State, the MIC, etc. can capitalize on. Again, I don't discount the left's true motives for their present involvement, but neither will I hide behind skepticism or diminish God's ability to make all things work together for His purposes. As for what lies ahead, I believe what we are now witnessing is the unfolding of both the Psalm 83 conflict and the impending fulfillment of Isaiah 17. Both of these will pave the way for what will come in the not-so-distant future with the Ezekiel 38-39 Gog and Magog War. I believe that Israel's actions now, aside from utterly desolating Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the PLO, and possibly Hezbollah, will be the destruction of Damascus. We can already see Russian leadership aligning with the Palestinians on this issue, which in part is because of Biden's overwhelming support of Ukraine and Israel. Damascus's destruction will be the last hook in the jaw that will draw in this satanic coalition together and will be led by Russia and be joined by Turkey, Iran, Libya, Sudan, and many others. Russia will use that to justify its attack to plunder Israel for its wealth, while Turkey and Iran simply want to erase Israel as a nation and as a people. But God... You want to know why I think we are close? Every time the Democrats claim something as definitive, it seems the opposite happens. And they shall not escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 Prophecy, the Rapture, and Our Resurrected Body - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2023/10/14/our-resurrected-body-by-daymond-duck/ Paul said, “Some men will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?” (I Cor. 15:35). He answered the question with an illustration from the study of plants (Botany), “That which thou sowest is not quickened [made alive], except it die.” When we sow a seed, it dies before it becomes a plant. If the seed doesn’t die, it won’t become a plant. If it doesn’t disintegrate, a plant won’t come out of it, the roots won’t come out of it, the leaves won’t come out it, etc. Next, Paul said, “And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but a bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased Him, and to every seed its own body.” Paul made three points: When we sow a seed, we bury a bare seed in the ground. It is a seed. God gives that seed a new body. We cannot give that seed a new body. That seed can’t give itself a new body. But God gives that seed a new body. Every seed has its own body. A wheat seed receives one kind of body. A bean seed receives another kind of body. A corn seed receives another kind of body, etc. Different seeds receive a different kind of body. So how are the dead raised? They are raised by God and the process is like what happens to a seed. The seed dies and it becomes a living plant. A little apple seed dies, and it becomes a big apple tree. The apple seed has one kind of body before it dies and another kind of body after it’s brought back to life. Something inside that dead seed comes forth and makes a living plant. Something inside you comes forth, and God gives you a new body. Paul continued with a second illustration from the study of animals (Zoology), “All flesh is not the same; but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds” (I Cor. 15:39). There are different kinds of flesh; humans are different from animals, beef is different from pork, fish is different from chicken, etc. There are even kinds of flesh we don’t know anything about. God will make our resurrection body out of a different kind of flesh, a flesh unlike anything we know about right now. Paul continued with a third illustration from a study of the heavenly bodies (the field of Astronomy), “There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory” (I Cor. 15:40-41). There are different kinds of heavenly bodies: asteroids, comets, moons, planets, stars, etc. God created all of these, but they are all different, and they have different degrees of splendor and beauty. Some stars are large, some stars are small, some heavenly bodies give off light, some heavenly bodies reflect light, etc. There are different kinds of bodies, a human’s body is different from an animal’s body, a cow’s body is different from a pig’s body, a fish’s body is different from a chicken’s body. Cows don’t lay eggs, and fish don’t have feathers. Our resurrection body will be different from our present body in at least five ways:
Here are some articles that seem to indicate that we are getting close to the Rapture. One, On Sat. Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas (a terrorist group funded and armed by Iran) launched a surprise air, ground, and sea attack on Israel. It was estimated that Hamas fired more than 2,000 rockets into Israel and there was fighting in more than 20 places. Things changed by the minute, but there were reports of major property damage, about 100 Israelis killed, about 1,000 Israelis injured, and the capture of many Israeli soldiers and hostages. The Israeli cabinet met, Israel called up 300,000 reservists, and Prime Min. Netanyahu said, “We are at war, not in an operation or in rounds, but at war.” He added, “The enemy will pay a heavy price, the type that the enemy has not known.” (Update: On Sun. Oct. 8, 2023, about 3,500 rockets fired into Israel, over 600 Israelis killed, 2,040 injured, about 100 women, children, elderly Jews—and the bodies of dead soldiers—paraded through the streets of Gaza. Israeli soldiers went from town to town and house to house in southern Israel to take out Hamas. Netanyahu warned the people of Gaza to leave because Israel will reduce Gaza to rubble.) (Update: On Oct. 8, 2023, Israel announced that it would cut off the electricity and water and ban the shipment of food and fuel to Gaza—home of 2 million people—starting on Oct. 9, 2023, in preparation for an invasion of Gaza that would reduce the area to rubble.) Hamas threatened to kill their hostages and show it online if Israel bombs Palestinian homes. Israel warned Hamas against killing hostages and said Israel will retaliate. Israel claimed their planes struck 150 targets in Gaza. In the north, Israeli soldiers killed several terrorists trying to enter Israel from Lebanon. Six Israeli soldiers were wounded.) (Update: On Tue. Oct. 10, 2023, the number of hostages increased to about 150, the number of Americans killed increased to 11, and the numbers may increase. It was reported that Hamas killed—some were beheaded—at least 40 babies and children in one town. Shortly before noon CST, it was reported that the ground assault on Gaza would start in a matter of hours. It was reported that shells were fired from Syria and Lebanon into Israel, and the Israeli Defense Forces retaliated.) (Update: Wed. Israel said the city of Gaza will be a tent city before this is over.) On Oct. 11, 2023, some of my thoughts about these events are: >The terminal generation should see wars and rumors of wars (possibilities include Psa. 83, destruction of Damascus in Isa. 17; destruction of Iran’s nuclear facilities in Jer. 49:34-39; Gog and Magog in Ezek. 38-39), and I believe we are the terminal generation. >I believe our generation is in the feet of iron plus clay on the statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, which means we are the terminal generation (Dan. 2). >I believe there are people alive today that will not pass away before all prophecy is fulfilled (all the seals, bowls, and trumpets, which involves world government, the Mark of the Beast, the Battle of Armageddon, etc.). >When asked about His Second Coming, Jesus told His disciples to watch the Fig Tree (Israel; Matt. 24:32-34). >Isaiah said Israel would come back into being in one day before the birth pains (before the Tribulation Period; Isa. 66:7-9). >The angel Gabriel told Daniel Israel would have to go through the Tribulation Period before all prophecy is fulfilled (Dan. 9:24). >Israel cannot be destroyed, but the pressure on Israel will not end until the Jews accept Jesus as their Messiah at the Second Coming (all Israel will be saved at the end of the Tribulation Period). >God loves Israel, and this war is partly God’s appeal for the Jews to accept Jesus and be saved before they die or the Tribulation Period begins. >God loves the Muslims, and this war is partly for the Muslims to know that Jehovah is God (not Allah) and be saved before they die or the Tribulation Period begins. >This war is a warning to the world about the extreme barbarism and evil of Islamic terrorism. World leaders need to face it and deal with it. >Making peace with people that act like animals and maybe demon possessed is impossible. >The hundreds of Israeli men, women, children, and babies that were killed were not killed in a war or on a battlefield. They were killed in their homes, on the streets, at a party, etc., by Islamic terrorists that sneaked into Israel. >On Oct. 9, 2023, Israel’s political parties started negotiating to form a unity government, so this war could be the end of the political division of Israel. >This war has caused multitudes of Jews to pray and look to God for help. >I am not a military man, but it seems to me that Israel needs to eliminate Hamas and other terrorists in Gaza before Israel must deal with Iran. Israel needs to eliminate the southern threat before it must deal with the northern threat. >Shots fired from Lebanon and Syria into Israel are a reminder that Israel will destroy Lebanon and Damascus at the end of the age. >The support of Russia and Iran for Hamas is a reminder that the two will be allies in the Battle of Gog and Magog. >Russia will not voluntarily attack Israel, but God will put a hook in Gog’s jaw and drag Russia onto the mountains of Israel. >Russia’s defeat on the mountains of Israel will just be partial (Russia will still have most of her navy, some of her air force, and her nuclear missiles). >If Israel follows through with her threat to reduce Gaza to rubble, Iran will increase her efforts to build nuclear weapons, and Israel will be forced to move against Iran (Jer. 49:34-39). >The escalating danger and destruction will increase the call for peace in the Middle East, and this could speed up a fake covenant of peace and the Tribulation Period. >This war could strengthen Israel’s control of the Temple Mount and open the door for a rebuilt Temple. >Not all agree, but I believe the Battle of Gog and Magog is a pre-Trib event, and if it is, the defeat of Russia, Iran, etc., will increase the call for a world government, and the defeat of Iran will remove a lot of the opposition to a rebuilt Temple. >Israel has red heifers, and if they are still qualified early next year, religious Jews can build the Temple as soon as they get government permission. >I believe the Rapture will occur before the Tribulation Period begins. (FYI: On Sept. 11, 2023, Pres. Biden released $6 billion in frozen oil revenue to Iran in exchange for the release of five prisoners, knowing that Iran was threatening to destroy Israel. When Biden did that, Trump called him a fool and predicted the money would be used to finance more terrorism in the Middle East. For whatever it is worth, a Hamas spokesman admitted that Iran helped coordinate the attack, so there is no question about Iranian involvement.) (FYI: In 2021, Pres. Biden left $80 billion worth of weapons in Afghanistan when he surrendered to the Taliban and pulled America’s troops out. On Oct. 7, 2023, it was reported that the Taliban had asked Iran for permission to cross Iranian territory to assist Hamas in its conflict with Israel. Video on cellphones of deceased Israelis indicates that some Hamas terrorists may have been armed with U.S.-made weapons.) FYI: A pastor friend reminded me that God has a reason for everything He does, and he gave me the following Scripture for when Israel entered the Promised Land: “When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them: Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face. Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them” (Deut. 7:1-11). Two, concerning the globalist desire to reduce the population of the earth: on Oct. 6, 2023, LifeSiteNews reported that a study of data from 17 nations on four continents representing 9% of the world’s population and 10% of the people on earth that received a Covid-19 vaccination found that:
Three, concerning a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and tracking all buying and selling in the U.S.: on Oct. 5, 2023, it was reported that a bill to forbid the use of CBDCs and track people in the U.S. has cleared the House Financial Services Committee. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer warned that “the Biden Administration is not only itching to create a CBDC, but they are willing to trade Americans’ right to financial privacy for a surveillance-style central bank digital currency.” We should hope that the bill passes when it is voted on by the full House. Four, concerning America’s economic problems: on Oct. 5, 2023 it was reported that the U.S. House of Representatives cut off funding for the WHO, the WEF, the UN Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the World Bank-administered climate change funds, the UN Population Fund, and 33 Special Envoys and Special Representatives including the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, the Special Envoy for Racial Equity and Justice, the Special Envoy to Advance the Human Rights of LGBTQI+ Persons, the Special Envoy for International Labor Affairs, the Special Representative for Palestinian Affairs and others. I know I shouldn’t gloat, but funding was cut off for Pres. Biden’s Climate Czar John Kerry. The bill reduced Pres. Biden’s spending requests by about 25%, but it still has to be passed by the U.S. Senate. Five, concerning the book of Daniel: God said, “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased” (Dan. 12:4). God told Daniel knowledge will increase at the time of the end. I have heard people say we are living in the “Information Age.” I have heard others say we are living in the “Computer Age” or the “Digital Age.” I now read that the “Computer Age” is about to be replaced by the age of “Quantum Computing.” In an article on harbingersdaily.com, on Oct. 5, 2023, Rev. David Bowen wrote: >Packed with infinitesimally small microprocessors, it (quantum computers) can easily process over 5 billion calculations per second — 3 million times faster than classic computing. The chief analyst at Hyperion Research estimates that tasks that currently take 25 hours will soon be completed in two minutes with quantum computing. >Not only will this technology have the ability to control every aspect of life, business, finance, medicine, government, etc., but it will also be able to do this with such precision and speed that every person on earth could be placed into a one-world system. This technology will virtually force the world into a one-world financial system, a one-world government, and eventually a one-world religion. This super technology will cause the world’s systems to merge into one unified and computerized way of life. Choices will be eliminated. Freedom will be severely limited. Control will be delivered into the hands of the one who oversees this worldwide interconnecting network. Six, concerning world government: the World Health Organization (WHO) currently has two documents in process that they want to get approved at the World Health Assembly Meeting in May 2024. One document concerns amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHRs).

Seven, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters at the end of the age: on Oct. 7, 2023, a 6.3 earthquake in Afghanistan killed 2,053 people, injured 1,240, and damaged or destroyed 1,320 houses. These numbers are expected to keep rising. (Update: On Oct. 10, 2023, at least 2,400 killed and 1,900 houses destroyed. There may not be a connection, but it is interesting that this happened 3 days after the Taliban asked for permission to send troops through Iran to help Hamas fight Israel.) FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6). Genesis 1:2 says, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” John 1:1-5 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shined in darkness; and the darkness did not comprehend it.” Herein, God, the Holy Spirit, and the Word, Christ bringing light and order. Where is this light today? When we look at events like what happened in Israel, many ask where is God in all this? Where is the light today? Just as in the Garden of Eden, God not only made a wonderful place for his creation, but also gave Adam and Eve the freedom to make their own choices. This holds true today. We each have the freedom to choose. Evil crept into the Garden and used crafty and vain words to deceive Adam and Eve into sin. There were great consequences. Adam and Eve chose to believe the serpent rather than God. They were removed from the Garden. They became truly mortal. Their first-born was a murderer. Their life became difficult because of the choice they had made. Most reasonable people can see the evil done to Israel. They can see the consequences of giving large sums of money to evil people in an attempt to bribe them to become good. For humanitarian purposes, they say. But inhumanity is the consequence. Live side by side in peace, they say, but evil intent cancels the intention. These are consequences of choices. But there is something far deeper that has occurred over the decades of our lives. And that is the choices we as humankind have made, in the leaders we have chosen or accepted, that have received the vain and crafty words of satan into their hearts, and in turn, abandoned the wisdom, peace and order of the Holy Spirit. Thus, the consequences of not only choosing leadership that was evil or susceptible to evil results in an environment of chaos. Think for a moment how Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, George W Bush and Joe Biden have condemned the acts of Hamas, but they were responsible for building these terrorists up through finances and political pressure. This double-mindedness causes the chaos before us. Moreover, years and years of not holding accountability to the Lord or being led by the Holy Spirit in choosing leaders has fomented an end result of chaos within God’s creation, with horrific consequences. Let us see this example and be moved to get our souls right with the Lord; to yield to the Holy Spirit; to boldly choose the will of God over the vain and crafty words of satan; to choose light over darkness; to begin the courageous journey of restoration of the Lord’s will in our lives, communities, states, and nation. Is there anything you will be doing today, tonight, or tomorrow that you would be ashamed to do if Christ were to return? If so, then change your plans. You want to be ready for His return. Not only should we be ready, but we should anxiously await the return of Christ. We used to have a German Shepherd who slept outside the bedroom, leaning against our door. We didn’t let him sleep in our room because he often had nightmares and would wake us up. Every morning when we opened the door, he rolled into the room. Then he’d jump up and start running in circles. He was genuinely happy to see us. That is how we should be waiting for Christ’s return. And anything that might prevent us from saying “Come quickly, Lord Jesus” is out of place in our lives. In addition to waiting, we should be working. Every now and then, someone predicts that Jesus will return on a specific date. People believe these predictions and start quitting their jobs or divorcing their spouses. But that is not what we should be doing as we wait for the return of Christ. Instead, we should be working for Him. The Bible says, “Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works” (James 2:26 NLT). If watching is the evidence of faith, then working is the evidence of faith in action. Watching for the Lord’s return will help us prepare our own lives. But working will ensure that we bring others with us to Heaven. The great British preacher C. H. Spurgeon said, “It is a very blessed thing to be on the watch for Christ. . . . You can be poor without murmuring; you can be rich without worldliness; you can be sick without sorrowing; you can be healthy without presumption. If you are always waiting for Christ’s Coming, untold blessings are wrapped up in that glorious hope.” When you live in the anticipation of Christ’s return, it’s a happy way to live.
