Following 54 days of captivity in Gaza, 21-year-old Mia Schem was interviewed twice on TV, and she felt a need to talk about those who seized her and what she went through as a hostage. Schem was at the Supernova music festival with a male friend when the attack started. They rushed to her car, got in it, and started driving away. She saw several terrorists shoot people and stepped on the gas to escape, but they shot her tires, and her car stalled. A truckload of armed terrorists passed her car, and one of the terrorists shot her (a 21-year-old unarmed woman) in the arm at very close range. She dropped to the floor of her car with blood streaming down her arm and began to scream that she had lost her hand. Schem’s male friend was removed from the car; his hands were tied behind his back; his body was found several days later and was returned to Israel. Schem tried to play dead. Cars were burning all around her car; then a man passed that she thought was an Israeli, so she asked him to help her. The man was a terrorist; he ordered her to get up and started touching her body parts. She started screaming and acting crazy, and he saw her bloody arm and stopped. A different man grabbed a handful of her hair, pulled her to a different car, put her in it, and took her half-conscious to a hospital in Gaza. Someone got a handful of her hair again, dragged her out of that car, and put her in a back room at the hospital. Someone stretched out her arm and tied it to a stiff piece of plastic. She spent 3 days in the back room and was ordered to put on a hijab (a head covering). She was taken to the hospital surgery room, where she was operated on without anesthesia and told she would not go home alive. (Note: It is obvious that the surgeon knew there was a hostage in the hospital.) The next day, she was told to film a propaganda video and say she was being taken care of if she didn’t want to die. From there, she was taken to a family home occupied by a Hamas terrorist, his wife, and an unspecified number of children. She was put in a dark room and told she could not speak, move, cry, or be seen, and she was being watched 24/7. Schem said the entire family (father, wife, and children) was involved with Hamas, and the wife said her husband wanted to rape her. Schem said she felt like an animal; the children would sometimes open the door and stare at her; she never got to take a shower; she often had to go without anything to eat for 2 or 3 days; she never got medications; and she had trouble sleeping. At some point, the terrorists started moving her from home to home in an ambulance, and she became aware of what other families are like. When the truce started, she was moved to a tunnel where she met some of the other hostages, and she spent 4 or 5 days there without food. At the TV interviews, and after spending 54 days in Gaza, Schem said:
Concerning some of my thoughts about what Schem said, it is important to understand that:
Please do not misunderstand me. I do not think it is possible to view the pictures of devastation, crying and injured children, and not feel compassion for the people of Gaza, but the parents brought it on themselves and their children. God said He will bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel, but they have rejected the Bible as the Word of God. A famous sermon says, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God?” Israel is clearly fed up with the attempts to destroy Jews in their own land. But if God is fed up with it, as the old saying goes, “You ain’t seen nothing yet.” (More: Hamas has contributed to Palestinian deaths by hiding behind Palestinians, firing rockets at Israel from hospitals, schools, population centers, etc. The UN and international community are guilty for allowing Hamas to take over Gaza and to use Palestinians as human shields. And some Arab countries are guilty for sending money and weapons to Hamas.) Here are some current events that seem to relate to Bible prophecy: One, concerning an increase in wars and rumors of wars at the end of the age: on Jan. 4, 2024, it was reported that 12 nations (the U.S., Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Britain) sent a letter to the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen that said: “Let our message now be clear: We call for the immediate end of these illegal attacks, and the release of unlawfully detained vessels and crews.” “The Houthis will bear the responsibility of the consequences should they continue to threaten lives, the global economy, and free flow of commerce in the region’s critical waterways.” A Biden administration official said the Houthis should not expect a second warning. (Update: Just a few hours after the nations sent the letter to the Houthis, the Iran-backed group carried out a failed attack on another ship.) Two, concerning God’s promise to draw the Jews back to the Promised Land at the end of the age: on Jan. 1, 2024, it was reported that there has been an increase in the desire of Jews to relocate to Israel since the Israel-Hamas war began on Oct. 7, 2023, and one of the main reasons is their “profound sense of connection and solidarity with the Jewish people and their homeland.” The fact that there is an increase in Jews wanting to relocate to Israel while a war is going on is encouraging to those who are already there. (More: According to the Bible, Israel will be hated by all nations at the end of the age. World leaders, Islamic groups, and the media are using the events in Gaza to increase the hatred of Israel. Anti-Semitism, harassment, and hate crimes are causing some Jews in foreign countries to consider a move to Israel. Fulfilled prophecy is verifying the truth of the Bible. The fulfillment of other major prophecies is coming on the scene now.) Three, concerning famine and wickedness at the end of the age: on Jan. 4, 2024, it was reported that Hamas is killing hungry Palestinian citizens who are trying to steal humanitarian aid that Israel and others are sending to the Gaza Strip. But Hamas is not killing Palestinian citizens to keep them from stealing humanitarian aid. Hamas is killing Palestinian citizens because Hamas wants to steal the humanitarian aid for themselves. Think about this: While Hamas is killing Palestinian citizens, world leaders are trying to protect Hamas from Israel. Four, the Bible teaches that Israel will expand its borders at the end of the age and ultimately end up with all the Promised Land. On Jan. 3, 2024, 3 legal experts from law schools in Israel and the U.S. submitted a document to Israel’s political leaders that says international law does not require Israel to allow the Palestinians to return to their homes in northern Gaza as long as the fighting continues, and Israel’s enemies are holding hostages. The legal experts added that even if the war ends, preventing the movement of Israel’s enemies is legal warfare. As I understand what I have been reading, Israel is willing to allow Palestinians to return to most (Israel wants a buffer zone) of northern Gaza under the condition that the Palestinians will not threaten or attack Israel. Israel is fed up and demanding an end to the attacks. Five, concerning world government: on Jan. 7, 2024, it was reported that Tucker Carlson interviewed a world-renowned biologist who said:

Six, concerning the Tribulation Period: on Jan. 5, 2024, the Israel Today Staff posted an article about an unidentified commander (identity withheld for security purposes) in Israel’s Southern Command. After talking about the fighting that he and his troops went through in a TV interview, the commander was asked for his interpretation of what happened and is happening. He referenced Jer. 30:7, “Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it; it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” The time of Jacob’s trouble is one of the names of the Tribulation Period. According to the Bible:
The Israel-Hamas war is not the Tribulation Period (time of unbelieving Israel’s trouble; the Church is still here; there is no world government, etc.), but the Israeli commander is right: this war could be a major step in that direction (and lead to Israel’s salvation at the end of the Tribulation Period). Seven, concerning a departure from the faith in the Church: on Jan. 8, 2024, it was reported that a Catholic cardinal from Venezuela wrote an explicit pornographic book in 1998 that has recently come to light, and Roman Catholic Archbishop Vigano has called upon the Swiss Guards to arrest and expel him and his accomplices from the Vatican. Some had been in attendance for months and some for years. A few had been active for a decade. They loved their church family and felt the pulpit was sound. Their church has salvation right, and baptism. The music is acceptable and the youth program is outstanding. It is missions-minded. And, after all, no church is perfect. The Rude Awakening But in October, many church attendees were going to get a rude awakening because too many hadn’t done a deep dive on all of the church’s theology. Many had been grieved over the silence in the pulpit as it concerned Bible prophecy and current events. They accepted the flaw and got daily doses of those items online. After all, the church didn’t get involved in the cultural issues either. It is not unusual for a church to not take a stand. Then came October 7 in Israel. What would the church response be that next day – October 8? What happened on October 7 was a game-changer! Surely, this would be front-and-center at their church! It is true—the headlines, photos, and videos coming out of the latest Mideast conflict are not seekersensitive. They won’t make church attendees feel good. Talking about the sensitive situation won’t fit into any church-growth strategy. It won’t encourage anyone to become purpose-driven. It could even create divisiveness. So, I should not have been so thrown when I began to get e-mails from across the country stating variations of the following: Jan, I was very dismayed that the church we attended did not even make mention of what was going on in Israel on Sunday, October 8. Nor did the topic arise on Wednesday night—though there were several mentions of the Houston Astros game… No One Can Say We Didn’t Know Since then, there has been wall-towall coverage on all media outlets, day and night, for over three months. Can anybody claim they didn’t know? We have now all watched the sickening demonstrations begging the world to “gas the Jews.” Some are saying World War III is at hand. We have evil at a new level on display. The likelihood of terror cells embedded in America, Canada, Europe, and other places is a guarantee. The Silence of the Shepherds Is Rooted in Theology And yet, I was hearing many times a day about the silence of the shepherds! Could this silence be rooted in theology? A resounding “yes”! I encourage all readers to do a study on modern theology. People hear terms that need to be explored: Replacement Theology, Covenant Theology, Amillennial Theology, Dominion Theology, and more. You just might not be in agreement with what all of these theologies entail! Most of these teach that the Church is the new Israel; that God has cast away His people Israel due to unbelief. Prayer: The Only Effective Weapon Human suffering has been on display since October 7, 2023. Media outlets that have a shred of integrity, revealed the darkened hearts and deeds of Islamic thugs. There is only one adequate weapon in our arsenal: prayer, and better yet, corporate prayer. Prayer from the pulpit. Prayer from a radio, TV, or Internet website. Prayer for innocent hostages, although now it is likely too late. Prayer for any innocent caught in a battle crossfire. Prayer for soldiers trying to liberate and set captives free. And pastors, your people want you to lead in this effort! People are now tired of the silence of the shepherds. Our world is too volatile, too angry, and too evil, to stand on the sidelines and be silent! You must take a stand and set theology aside. Yes, your theology says you should minimize Israel, but then you marginalize the suffering, which Jesus would never do! When Should I Leave a Church? All of my radio guests have stated since October 7 that if a church will not relent on this, then it is time to leave. Period. God cannot bless this church or congregation. It is weighed in the balances and found wanting (Dan. 5:7). It is time to move on to much greener—and more spiritually fruitful—pastures. Perhaps this is the next big church divider. Churches will either be for Israel, or against her. Which side will you be on? Israel is to become the world’s burdensome stone (Zech. 12:3), but God will destroy ALL who come against Jerusalem (Zech.12:9). You want to be on God’s side! In the new year of 2024, I pray that all in leadership will at least take a stand against evil, for much of the world is calling evil good (Isaiah 5:20). Needless to say, this makes a Chinese invasion much more likely… Voters in Taiwan elected Vice President Lai Ching-te as their next president on Saturday, defying warnings from Beijing not to support a candidate it has called a separatist and a “troublemaker.” The election, which China had described as “a choice between war and peace,” could test recent efforts by Beijing and Washington to repair relations that in recent years have fallen to their lowest point in decades. The status of Taiwan, one of the strongest democracies in Asia, is among the most sensitive issues between the two superpowers, and focus will now turn to any potential show of force from Beijing in response. As I have been warning my readers for a long time, the moment that China invades Taiwan we will be at war with the Chinese. #2 In Germany, massive demonstrations by farmers and train drivers have caused much of that nation to come to a standstill… In Germany, where workers and bosses run many companies jointly, a big strike is unusual. A wave of big strikes is almost unheard of. Right now the country of “co-determination” is simultaneously facing an eight-day “action week” by irate farmers, who blocked roads with tractors, a three-day strike of railway workers and, to top it off, a looming strike of doctors, who already closed surgeries between Christmas and New Year’s Day. This Mistgabelmop (pitchfork mob), as some have taken to calling it, will test Germany’s harmonious labour relations in the year to come. The data reflects the strong impact of a series of shock measures, including a 50% devaluation of the nation’s currency, implemented by right-wing President Javier Milei in hopes of eventually bringing the country’s roaring inflation under control. #4 In Ecuador, an “internal armed conflict” has turned that country into a war zone… The government of Ecuador formally declared an emerging gang war in the country an “internal armed conflict” on Wednesday, vowing to curtail the deadly violence that dramatically intensified the day before. The terrorist actions committed by Ecuador’s criminal gangs on Tuesday — which included kidnappings, prison riots, and the use of explosive devices against civilian and police vehicles — left at least ten dead, including two policemen. On early Wednesday morning, police authorities found a burned vehicle with three burned people inside in a Guayaquil neighborhood. #5 Oklahoma was just hit by a magnitude 4.4 earthquake… According to a U.S. Geological Survey report, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded at 5:36 a.m. about 4 miles east-northeast of Edmond. The report says it could be felt throughout the Oklahoma City metro. #6 There was another enormous volcanic eruption in Iceland on Sunday… A volcano erupted in southwest Iceland early Sunday, sending lava flowing toward a nearby town for the second time in a few weeks, authorities said. The eruption began north of the town of Grindavík just before 8 a.m. UTC (2 a.m. ET), the Icelandic Meteorological Office (IMO) said. The town was evacuated on Saturday as fears of an imminent eruption rose following multiple earthquakes in the area. Barriers of earth and rock were built in recent weeks in a bid to prevent lava from reaching Grindavík, but authorities said the latest eruption has apparently breached those defenses. #7 Dmitry Medvedev is warning that any deployment of British troops in Ukraine would be a “declaration of war”… Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, now deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, made the comments in response to a visit by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to Kyiv to announce an increase in military funding to help Ukraine purchase new military drones. “I hope that our eternal enemies – the arrogant British – understand that deploying an official military contingent to Ukraine would be a declaration of war against our country,” Medvedev wrote on the Telegram messaging app. #8 A “coalition” led by the United States has conducted two rounds of airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen in recent days, but instead of deterring the Houthis it is just making them even angrier… These two rounds of attacks, which included Tomahawk missiles and even submarine launched missiles, have done nothing to deter the Iran-linked Houthis. They are now threatening “strong and effective response” as regional waters remain on edge for what comes next. The Houthis have repeatedly said they are not scared of US and UK threats. The reality too is that the Houthis have been battling Saudi-UAE-US airpower going all the way back to 2015, amid an ongoing war for control of the country. #9 Hezbollah continues to strike targets in northern Israel, and this ensures that the war on Israel’s northern border will continue to escalate… The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah announced on Saturday carrying out a number of operations against Israeli targets in northern occupied Palestine. In a series of statements, the group reiterated that the operations are in support of “our resilient Palestinian people in Gaza and their courageous and honorable Resistance.” Hezbollah said it conducted the first operation at 11:20 am, targeting the Israeli al-Assi military site, facing the Lebanese village of Mays al-Jabal, using appropriate weapons and confirming direct hits. #10 The war in the south continues to escalate as well. It is being reported that the IDF is planning an operation “to seize Gaza’s border with Egypt”… Israel has informed Egypt of its plans to launch a military operation aimed at retaking control of the key Philadelphi corridor in the southern Gaza Strip, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday. Citing both current and former Israeli and Egyptian officials, the report noted that the IDF operation would “likely involve removing Palestinian officials from a key crossing point and stationing Israeli forces along a stretch of land from Gaza’s southeastern corner abutting both Israel and Egypt toward the Mediterranean Sea about 12 kilometers (8 miles) to the northwest,” as per the WSJ. #11 Anti-Israel protesters just vandalized the Los Angeles National Cemetery. Almost 90,000 U.S. war heroes are buried there… Video posted online showed a demonstrator spray-painting “Free Gaza” with an upside-down red triangle on the entrance to the National Cemetery as a protest shut down a major boulevard outside the US Federal Building on Saturday. Demonstrators wearing traditional Palestinian keffiyehs were seen waving Palestinian flags and holding signs accusing President Biden of being an enabler of genocide and Zionists of being Nazis. They chanted, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” a slogan that the Anti-Defamation League has labeled antisemitic, saying it calls for the elimination of the state of Israel. #12 On Saturday night, there was a violent riot directly in front of the White House, and anti-Israel protesters came very close to breaching the perimeter… The metal perimeter was shaken so hard, that portions of it were damaged shunting backward. Secret Service operatives rushed to prevent an absolute breach that would allow the rioters to march toward the White House. The pro-Hamas rioters are also flinging bloodied dolls over the fence across the White House lawn as they attempt to and lodging them at the Secret Service operatives. And what sort of protests will we see if the U.S. ends up in multiple wars simultaneously? Of course war is not the only “black swan event” that we could potentially be facing in 2024. We really have entered a “perfect storm”, and crisis after crisis is erupting all around us. Many of the experts assure us that “nothing is going to happen” and that our leaders have everything under control. But if “nothing is going to happen”, then why are so many billionaires rushing to complete massive survivalist compounds all over the world? That would put a quick end to German aggression. But, unfortunately, it would put afterward an end to the world too. So maybe the H-bomb and the rockets and planes and submarines designed to deliver it, horrible threat though they are to the survival of the planet, will, ironically, help, at least, to solve the German problem. No more bloody conquests by the Germans, or by anyone else. Perhaps it will help too if the erring governments and the wondering people of this world will remember the dark night of Nazi terror and genocide that almost engulfed our world and that is the subject of this book. Remembrance of the past helps us to understand the present. And the seeds of that Middle Eastern hatred of the Jews have taken root in, of all places, the very heart of where Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party arose to become the worst anti-Jewish force in modern history. Jews in Berlin are facing an “extremely tense” situation amid rising hostility emanating from the Oct. 7 Hamas pogrom in southern Israel, the German capital’s top official combating anti-Semitism warned on Wednesday. “Since the barbaric antisemitic terrorist attack by Hamas on Oct. 7, the security situation for Jews and Israelis in Berlin has been extremely tense,” Samuel Salzborn — the antisemitism officer for the state of Berlin — told the taz news outlet. “We had a series of extremely aggressive antisemitic gatherings and rallies, the daubing of residential buildings with anti-Semitic symbols, an attempted arson attack on the synagogue on Brunnenstrasse, and most recently several destructions of Hanukkah menorahs. Since then, the whole thing has become more widespread, for example, at universities, where Jews are treated with hostility.”… “The big risk is everyday life: situations and places in which you cannot provide full protection,” he said. “You never know exactly where in Berlin something can happen. Many live with the great, understandable, and justified fear that they could be spontaneously attacked if they are identified as Jews, for example by wearing a necklace with the Star of David.” (“Berlin Jews Facing ‘Extremely Tense’ Situation, City’s Top Antisemitism Official Warns,” Algemeiner.com, Rapture Ready News, Jan 4, 2024) The Muslim world for the most part embraced Adolf Hitler’s anti-Semitic hatred expressed in his book dictated to Rudolf Hess while in prison. Hitler’s hatred for the Jewish race was at the center of Mein Kampf, the rambling, satanic tripe on which the Nazi blueprint was based. So while Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli defenders of the modern state of Israel declare, as did the Holocaust survivors, “Never again!” what seems an inexplicit hatred toward Israel and the Jewish race again arises from the blood-soaked land where Hitler first began his demonic rage. And it is demonic hatred today. Satan is at work to do it all over again. He has even gotten American college students, who don’t understand the truth, caught up in the rage to drive the “occupiers” into the sea. It is, in truth, an enragement that is going to soon drive the entire world into a great sea of Tribulation. It is again going to be for the Jewish people a holocaust that will be worse than the worst of the Nazi-perpetrated one, according to Jesus. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:21) It will be the time of “Jacobs’s trouble,” according to the prophet Jeremiah. Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. (Jeremiah 30:7) So the phrase “Never again!” cannot be an assured matter until the Jewish King—the King of all kings, the Lord Jesus Christ—returns to put an end to the madness. And madness it is that we are witnessing at every level of human comportment these days. Year 2024 doesn’t seem to offer much hope for relief from the luciferic lunacy, in humanistic terms. But 2024 just might assure “Never again” if the “blessed hope” of Titus 2:13 intervenes into the wicked affairs of humankind, as Jesus promises to do at some point, as recorded in Luke 17:28–30. You want to be with Christ as He returns to put an end to anti-Semitism and all other sorts of evil. Here is how to be with Jesus when He comes to make all things right on planet Earth. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Thomas said in John 20:25, “Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.” But Jesus came to the disciples again and Thomas was with them. Jesus told Thomas to put his finger into his hands and his hand into his side and “be not faithless, but believing.” And then Thomas believed. Jesus said in verse 29, “Thomas because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” We see here, but for faith, seeing is believing. God has revealed to mankind his deliverance plan from the beginning. If we see it by faith, we are truly blessed. In the Hebrew translation LORD and ADONAI are interchangeable. In Exodus 6:2-9:35, the LORD (ADONAI) reveals himself as YHVH, Yud Heh Vav Heh (LORD), using four attributes of redemption: “I will free…I will deliver…I will redeem…I will take you.” There is no other Deliverer for Israel—or for us, as stated in Isaiah 43:11, “I, yes, I Am (ADONAI), aside from me there is no deliverer.” The Israelites would “see” YHVH, the LORD (ADONAI) as their Redeemer. Prophetically, this attribute would be fulfilled in Christ through His work on the cross as noted throughout the New Testament writings. Philippians 2:9-11 reaffirms ADONAI is the Messiah, saying, “Wherefore God also has highly exalted him (ADONAI), and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…and that every tongue should confess that Christ Jesus is LORD (ADONAI), to the glory of God the Father.” The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 10:9, “that if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and trust in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be delivered (Complete Jewish Bible).” Verses 11-13 say, “For the scripture says, Whosever believes on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the gentile; for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him, since everyone who calls upon the name of ADONAI (the LORD) shall be delivered.” The Israelites coming out of Egypt and into the Promised Land saw first-hand the acts of their Deliverer. The Disciples and multitudes saw with their eyes the miracles of Christ (ADONAI), most importantly his suffering, death and resurrection. That by what God showed to the Israelites, and then to the world through Christ’s work on the cross, future generations of both Jew and gentile would “see” through faith, his great works and come to salvation. As Jesus–LORD, ADONAI, Messiah—told Thomas “blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” We may not be eyewitnesses to the far past, but we believe onto our deliverance what we see by faith. They looked like they were going to do well, but then they self-destructed. That is what happened to Saul, the first king of Israel. He started out well, but things went from bad to worse because he disobeyed God. And when his successor, David, emerged on the scene, Saul began to relentlessly hunt him down. On more than one occasion, Saul tried to murder David because he was paranoid and jealous of him. And when Saul went to battle against the Philistines and realized that he was clearly defeated, he killed himself. Saul had so much promise and potential, but he threw his life away. He was more concerned with what others thought of him than with what God thought of him. He was shallow. He was vain. And he was a fool. In fact, he once admitted, “I have been a fool and very, very wrong” (1 Samuel 26:21 NLT). Or, as the New King James Version puts it, “I have played the fool and erred exceedingly.” Like Saul, we can play the fool in our lives as well. We play the fool when we disobey God, even in the smallest matters. Spiritual decline is gradual. Saul’s failure wasn’t immediate. At first, he was humble, but then pride set in. He took matters into his own hands and did what God told him not do. We play the fool when we attempt to justify the wrongs we have done. More than once, Saul blamed others for something he had done wrong. And when he finally owned up to his sin, it was only to save face. We must be honest about our sin and admit it when we’ve done something wrong. We play the fool when we allow hatred and jealousy to control our lives instead of love. There always will be people who do better in life than we do. There always will be someone who is better looking, in better shape, and more intelligent than we are. And if allow jealousy to control us, then we’ll be miserable people. Instead, we can thank God for everything He has given us because we don’t deserve any of it. Saul threw his life away, and his jealousy ultimately destroyed him. In the end, if he had genuinely repented, God would have forgiven him. The Bible says, “For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death” (2 Corinthians 7:10 NLT). In other words, if we’re really sorry for something we’ve done, then we will stop doing it. But to say we’re sorry and continue in a path of disobedience shows that we’re not sorry at all.
