Why Was it Necessary for God to Choose One People? – Jonathan Brentner - https://www.jonathanbrentner.com/https/jonathan-brentner-g8fgsquarespacecom/config/2024/1/11/why-did-god-choose-israel
Bible prophecy is all about Jesus, yet it revolves around Israel from start to finish. Although God first promised to send a Redeemer while Adam and Eve were still in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:15), He subsequently narrowed this prophetic focus to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and then specifically to the lineage of King David. Why did the Lord choose the sons of Jacob, whom He renamed Israel? Romans 9 reveals that His choice happened as the result of His sovereignty. It was solely His choice in the matter. Jacob had more of a heart for God than his wicked brother, however, starting with the call of Abram, every choice flowed from His divine purposes rather than from the character of the one He chose. We might also ask why it was necessary to choose just one nation. The answer to this question unveils God’s wisdom in His choice of one people through whom He would both reveal and fulfill His redemptive purposes for humanity. 1. THE PRESERVATION OF SCRIPTURE It would have been nearly impossible to preserve Old Testament Scriptures as one revelation from God apart from Him choosing to reveal His Word through one special race. In Romans 3:1-2, Paul alludes to Israel’s privilege of being the recipients of God’s revelation: Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the benefit of circumcision? Great in every respect. First, that they were entrusted with the actual words of God. (NASB) What if the Lord had revealed the story of creation and the flood to the Egyptians, the Psalms to the Assyrians, and then sent His prophets to Israel? Can you imagine such confusion? How would we know what or who to believe? In order to preserve the integrity of Scripture, His revelation to humanity had to come through one chosen race. There’s no other way that we could know that the Old Testament is truly God’s Word apart from such unity. God’s purpose in this matter enables us to recognize the fulfillment of biblical prophecy as His story unfolded through the Israelites leading to the birth of the Savior. 2. THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE SAVIOR Apart from the Lord choosing to reveal His sovereign purposes through one nation, Israel, there wouldn’t have been any sure way to identify the Messiah when He came into the world as a baby in Bethlehem. All the Old Testament books, written by descendants of Jacob and preserved by the Jewish people, point to the coming Messiah and each identify Him in a unique way. They form a supernatural and cohesive unit that not only speaks to their divine inspiration, but also to the unfolding of God’s plan through the Christ both in the past and for the future. The Hebrew prophets, though separated by hundreds of years, provide a remarkably consistent picture of the coming Messiah revealing many aspects of His birth, life, ministry, suffering, and resurrection. Jesus fulfilled 48 specific prophecies along with a great many types revealed throughout the Scriptures during His first arrival on earth. A book could be written on this matter, but suffice to say that we know Jesus was our long-awaited Redeemer, because God chose Israel as His people, inspired the Old Testament through them, and provided many prophecies and types that all pointed to our Savior. 3. THE UNDERSTANDING OF GOD’S CHARACTER How could we possibly know so much about God’s character apart from His revelation to one particular people that unfolded during a time span of 1,500 years? We learn many things through His dealing with Israel over a period of many centuries. God’s message to mankind became much clearer with Jesus’ entrance into the world (Hebrews 1:1-4) and the New Testament, which the Lord inspired through His apostles. That does not, however, negate the wealth of understanding about God’s character that can be gleaned from the pages of the Old Testament, especially throughout the Psalms. As already mentioned, each book portrays Jesus in a unique way that furthers our understanding of Him and of His nature as God, who took on human form. 4. THE ILLUSTRATION OF GOD’S REDEMPTIVE PROGRAM The book of Hebrews reveals how the Levitical sacrificial system both illustrated and pointed to Jesus’ death on the cross through which we have forgiveness of sins. This further illustrates the necessity of God choosing one people through whom He could reveal His saving purposes for the entire world. The words Hebrews 9:19-23 illustrate how the sacrificial system God revealed to Moses showed the necessity of Jesus’ death on the cross. For when every commandment of the law had been declared by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, saying, “This is the blood of the covenant that God commanded for you.” And in the same way he sprinkled with the blood both the tent and all the vessels used in worship. Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. Thus it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these rites, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. The Law demonstrated that a blood sacrifice was necessary for the “forgiveness of sins.” The repetition of the sacrifices under the Levitical system pointed to the once-for-all death of Christ on the cross for our redemption. John the Baptist proclaimed that Jesus was “the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). Although it took a while for believing Jews to fully grasp what he meant by that designation, we understand it today because of the system of sacrifices revealed for us in the book of Leviticus that pointed to the Messiah as the “Lamb” who would die in our place upon the cross. 5. THE WRITING OF THE NEW TESTAMENT God’s selection of one race was also critical for the completion of His written revelation to us, the New Testament. It was written by Jewish men, most of whom witnessed Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection and were able, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to tell us about His life and expand upon His redemptive purposes for us. God later chose the Apostle Paul to communicate much of our understanding regarding the Gospel. Very few men in his day had the same high level of understanding regarding the Old Testament as did Paul, which enabled him to help the Jews of His day, and us, better understand how the Hebrew Scriptures verified the message of grace that he proclaimed to both Jew and Greek. To demonstrate the continuity of revelation and prophecy from the Old Testament to the end of New Testament, it was necessary for all its writers to have a deep understanding of the Hebrew Scriptures. For example, the book of Revelation contains a great many inferences from the ancient Hebrew prophets and connects them to the completion of the Lord’s redemptive purposes during Jesus’ thousand-year reign and the eternal state. The unity of biblical prophecy staggers our minds with its supernatural character. 6. THE RESOLUTION OF HISTORY One huge downside exists for God’s chosen people: Satan has never let up in attempting to thwart the Lord’s redemptive purposes for selecting Israel. His attacks on God’s chosen race have been murderous, extreme, relentless, and continue to this very moment. The book of Esther provides a prime example of the devil seeking to stop the birth of the Messiah. He later inspired Herod to kill all the babies in Bethlehem in order to stop God’s plan. From 1 Corinthians 2:6-7, we learn that even Jesus’ crucifixion was intended to thwart God’s plan, but it backfired big time for Satan and his minions. God’s Word says that Jesus will return to a repentant Israel and someday He will enter Jerusalem as the Jewish people shout with glee, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord” (Zechariah 12:10-13:1; Matthew 23:37-39). In order to stop Jesus’ words in Matthew 23 from coming to fruition, Satan has greatly intensified the world’s hostility and hatred toward the Jewish people since Israel became a nation in 1948. The October 7, 2023, a barbaric attack on Israel came from the pit of hell and Satan’s determination to stop the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. The turning of world opinion against Israel comes from the same motive. In light of such great suffering over the millennia, is it not only right and just that the Lord would give Israel a glorious kingdom? His people have greatly suffered solely because God chose them to fulfill His redemptive plans through them. In the end, Israel will experience the wonders of a restored kingdom far more glorious than anything even seen in human history. What will we see inscribed above the twelve gates to the New Jerusalem, our home for all eternity? It will be the names of the twelve tribes of Israel, one for each entry in the city (Revelation 21:11-12). For all eternity, we will see these names and remember that God accomplished His saving purposes for us by choosing Israel as His special people. Please Note: In Hereafter, It’s Far Better Than You Can Imagine, Terry James and I describe the future glory that awaits us as believers beginning with Jesus’ appearing to take us home. From beginning to end, we emphasize the jubilant joy that awaits us in Heaven. The last chapter contains twenty-seven frequently asked questions and answers pertaining to Heaven and our experience there. (The book is now available for pre-order). Raising up Dictators – Terry James - https://terryjamesprophecyline.com/2024/01/15/raising-up-dictators/ The great prophet Daniel was given immense prophetic foreknowledge. He saw the rise of kingdoms and their leading protagonists. He saw the end of all these world kingdoms and their kings, or hierarchy. Yet he wasn’t allowed to know the finale of things with regard to either his beloved nation Israel or of the planet—at least not in significant detail. He wasn’t permitted to see what I believe you and I are presently allowed to witness regarding the wrapping up of “all these things,” which Jesus told us to look for as recorded in Luke 21:28. And anyone who is biblically centered and “watching,” as we are told to do by the Lord, according to Mark 13:37, is witnessing phenomenal stage-setting for the end of the age and the beginning of Daniel’s seventieth week—the Tribulation. Here is what the prophet was told by the angel in their exchange when Daniel desired to know what would be the end of his people: But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. (Daniel 12:4) Daniel responded as follows: And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. (Daniel 12:8–9) Many observers of the times—including yours truly—believe those words and that book are now being opened for us to discern these end-of-the-age hours leading to the triumphant return of Christ. One of the most fascinating aspects of “watching” all of the developments, to me at least, is the rise of dictators and their being allowed by Heaven to do their wickedness. And, I include in that evil group many of the leaders within the American political power structure, both elected and appointed, or even just inserted within that structure because of the influence their wealth gives them. We have watched them do all within their deception and conniving efforts to change this nation into one totally ruled by insane policies and would-be tyrannical enslavement. They haven’t yet reached the level of an Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin, or even a Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping. But they want to bring America into their own view of what the world should look like. And that view is them at the top, with the rest of us here to serve them. This is the human minion element within the Ephesians 6:12 cabal against which we who name the name of Christ wrestle, as Paul put it. So, in hearing the new speaker of the House Mike Johnson speaking , his words tripped my curiosity meter that maybe is a bit like the prophet Daniel felt, regarding his wanting to know the end of all this worldly wickedness. Speaker Johnson’s words were as follows. “I don’t believe there are any coincidences in a [matter] like this,” Johnson said during his Oct. 25 acceptance speech in the House chamber. “I believe that Scripture, the Bible, is very clear that God is the One that raises up those in authority. He raised up each of you, all of us, and I believe that God has ordained and allowed each one of us to be brought here for this specific moment in this time. This is my belief. I believe that each one of us has a huge responsibility today to use the gifts that God has given us to serve the extraordinary people of this great country, and they deserve it, and to ensure that our republic remains standing as the great beacon of light and hope and freedom in a world that desperately needs it.” Now, Mr. Johnson is an outspoken devout Christian, and I applaud his standing up and declaring that God’s way is the way business should be done. I’m thankful he has been placed in that important position at this critical time in our nation’s movement through history. But the thought struck. Yes. I believe God raised up Mike Johnson for this moment. And I believe that God raises up all men who achieve powers to govern. Johnson’s belief is based upon Daniel’s words. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. (Daniel 2:19–22) Daniel, the great man of God, had it right, of course. He affirms with all his heart that God is in complete control at all times, and nothing is done without His being in control. But the key here for purposes of our commentary title are the prophet’s inspired words: “he removeth kings, and setteth upkings.” God does indeed raise up leaders, as Mike Johnson told those in his audience–some of whom are themselves deeply into that wicked Ephesians 6:12 cabal. And the question piques my curiosity, like it probably does yours. Why, if God controls everything, does He permit these evil sorts to achieve power and do the dastardly things they do? Like, for example, why were the leaders of that Hamas terrorist pack of demonically-inspired horde allowed to plan and carry out such blood-drenched atrocities October 7? The answer that comes to me isn’t one that takes away the intense fervor of the question. But it does provide comfort. I think that while our finite minds can’t understand fully such an Infinite dealing by a sovereign God with such an absolutely incomprehensible evil as wrapped up in the thing called sin, to accept that God is in control, no matter how things look otherwise, is a faith-building matter. Daniel’s story of his faith is most relevant to acceptance that God is using all the sin-saturated activities by even the most evil of world leaders to ultimately bring all things back to perfection that was lost when iniquity entered Lucifer’s mind. So God, who knows the end from the beginning, raises dictators as well as godly people to do His bidding. Antichrist will come on the scene and will accomplish God’s great purpose. This is exactly what Satan has done through the centuries. His efforts in the garden worked with Eve, and he still employs the same tactic today. Genesis 3:1-5 KJV – “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” (emphasis added) Satan has been convincing people that what God says is not true ever since there were only two people in existence. It worked then and it still works now. Only now he has his agents to incorporate into his strategy; ones whom the Bible says will grow worse and worse as time progresses in their efforts to deceive (2 Timothy 3:13). This is consistent with what Jesus told Peter, Andrew, James, and John when they asked about the signs of His coming and the end of the age. Mark 13:5-6 KJV – “And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” This is the warning Jesus issued as He opened the last message He would give before His betrayal and arrest two days later. At the Last Supper, He would give one of the great promises of scripture that He would come again and receive us unto Himself. But the Olivet Discourse would be His final sermon during His time on earth. Paul offered a similar warning in the last chapter of his last epistle written before he would be executed by Caesar Nero for his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 – “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” When someone is about to depart from this world, their last words would certainly be worth our undivided attention. This is especially true for us, as Jesus and Paul were both referring to the days in which we now live. This is a time when imposters and deceivers have grown worse than ever, and churches, in many cases, have become places where fables have replaced the line upon line teaching of the sound doctrines of the word of God. The only conclusion we can draw is that time is short, the hour is late, and Jesus is coming for us soon. We have precious little time left to tell others about our Savior. Tell someone about him today! The Rapture is Still Imminent! - By Rick Segoine - https://www.raptureready.com/2024/01/13/the-rapture-is-still-imminent-by-rick-segoine/ 2023 has passed, and believers in Jesus are still here on Earth as of Jan. 8th, 2024. Many of us thought the Rapture might happen in 2023 due to certain mathematical calculations, or the convergence of so many prophetic signs and the ridiculous amounts of oppressive wickedness flooding the world, or because of simply longing for it. Or, perhaps, all of the above. Does this make the Rapture less imminent now that we have reached the year 2024? No, it is more imminent than ever before because the passing of each and every day leads us closer to that highly anticipated day and hour that no one but our Heavenly Father knows. Is there a lesson to learn here? Yes, to take an even deeper step into faith and trust in the Will of God. Perhaps a good resolution for the year 2024 could be to dive deeper into the reason that the Lord would tarry. He really and truly wants to Save as many Souls as can Possibly be Saved. Even though there will be those who refuse salvation, it is not God’s Will that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9). Like the story about the shepherd who went to search for his one lost sheep, the rest of the sheep waited until the lost one was found and brought back into the fold. Somewhere on this earth, there is one last lost sheep (person) that our good shepherd, Jesus, needs to find. Though the Rapture did not happen in the year 2023, nothing has changed other than the fact we are closer to it than before. The Rapture could still happen at any given moment as we continue to watch the prophetic signs converge. We need to keep watching, looking up, and making sure our lamps stay full. If we who long for Him to call us home need to endure a little longer, then so be it. It may be difficult to have one leg in this world and the other leg in the next, but for the sake of the lost who may still yet be found, we need to graciously keep doing the work of the great commission and keep spreading God’s love until the Lord calls us home. He will always give us the strength to carry on no matter how crazy things become before the trumpet sounds. There are still testimonies every day of lost souls getting saved, and only God the Father knows when the last savable one will check in. When that happens, the Father will inform His Son that it is time. Time to appear in the sky, accompanied by the shout of the archangel and the sound of a trumpet (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). Time to call first the dead in Christ and then to call those in Christ who are living at that moment to be with Him forever. At that amazing moment in time, the Father will have determined that the place Jesus has been preparing for His bride will have been completed and that every last soul that would accept the free gift of salvation this side of the Rapture will have done so. The church age, also known as the “age of grace,” will then be over, and it will be time to remove not only those who are not appointed to wrath but also He who restrains so that the “70th Week of Daniel” may commence (Revelation 3:10). All of these things will happen on the day of the Father’s choosing. The many converging prophetic signs being fulfilled right now suggest that the time is at hand, and every day, there is one sign in particular that keeps coming to mind. “Like in the days of Noah.” All of the signs of the end times given in Matthew chapter 24 have converged, yet billions of people, including many Christians, remain oblivious. It is looking more and more like a large portion of the population of planet Earth will be taken by complete surprise by the Rapture and the Tribulation that follows. Some mock, some scoff, and many pay no attention whatsoever. It is just business as usual, with much planning for the future, as if nothing at all is out of the ordinary. Exactly like in the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37-39). The flooding of the earth caught them all by surprise, even though Noah had warned them repeatedly. For all who know and trust that Jesus could call us home at any time, planning for the future needs to be accompanied by “God willing” or “should the Lord tarry.” To all who long to be with the Lord forever, I pray for the patience and compassion to endure as long as need be. And for the strength to carry on in the great commission to inform, to alert, to pray, and to call the lost to repentance and salvation. Even though many will not listen, there are also those who will listen and be saved. I pray that the Father’s great will that none should perish penetrates deeply into our hearts and souls and keeps us busy doing the work that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have called us each in our own way to do. When that blessed day arrives, and Jesus speaks those amazing words that we who love Him long to hear Him say – the beautiful words, “Come Up Here ” – oh, what a magnificent day that will be. If you haven’t already, ask Jesus to come into your heart today so that you, too, can hear Him say those words and become an heir to every wonderful eternal promise made by our Lord, the creator of the universe. Romans 10:9-10 tells how: “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Blessings to all in the name of Jesus, Rick Segoine Daily Jot: The politics of terrorism and persecution - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Open Doors, dedicated to strengthening and equipping Christians around the world who are facing persecution, estimates that 312 million Christians face high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith in some 50 countries. This persecution is primarily found in two types of countries—Islamic nations and authoritarian regimes such as communism. The biggest threat to tyranny is Christianity and everywhere there is tyranny, Christians come under persecution. In the case of Islam, it is both Jews and Christians who are persecuted. The US State Department releases a “Countries of Particular Concern” each year, yet under the Biden Administration, some of the worst offenders didn’t make the list. According to the Open Doors World Watch List, “5,621 Christians were killed for their faith last year. 90% of these were from Nigeria alone.” In 2020, the Trump Administration put Nigeria on the State Department list for its persecution of Christians, but in 2021 the Biden State Department removed Nigeria from the list. The removal of Nigeria occurred the day before Secretary of State Antony Blinken made a state visit to Nigeria. It remains off the list despite being the host of nearly 6,000 Christians being killed for their faith in 2023 as Islamic terrorists Boko Haram, ISWAP, Fulani militants and other armed bandits continue to attack Christian communities. The Nigerian government continues to deny the persecution. Whether Boko Haram or Hamas, the common denominator is Islam, for which Biden has a soft spot. For example, the Houthis, also known as “Ansarallah,” came to power in Yemen during the Obama-supported Arab Spring uprisings that destabilized much of the Middle East in favor of terrorist-supporting governments. The Houthi slogan is “Death to America, Death to Israel, Curse the Jews, Victory for Islam.” The Trump Administration had designated the Houthis as a terrorist organization. One of Joe Biden’s first acts was to revoke the terrorist designation and redesignate the Houthis as a humanitarian organization. Then he started giving them millions of dollars in US humanitarian aid, knowing full well the Houthis reputation for diverting such money for terrorist activities. Here again, Biden says out of one side of his mouth he wants to stop terrorism, and yet his actions are to use taxpayer money to support terrorists. Islamists and Hamas supporters continue to riot in cities across the US. They have rioted in England and even Bethlehem (trying to appropriate the blame on Israel). There is an international approach by Islam toward Jews and Christians. As the world approaches the end of times, the prophets of old—who were Jews—prophesy of the nations coming against Israel, and they are Islamic. They persecute supporters of Israel and believers in Christ. Psalm 83 speaks of those who sound much like the Hamas and Fulani terrorists today. Verse 4 says, “They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may no more be in remembrance.” Whether Jew or Christian, the times ahead are perilous for the enemies of God come to kill, steal and destroy. Be vigilant. Be strong. Be informed of the politics of terrorism. Daily Devotion: A Forward Path - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. —Psalm 37:23 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/a-forward-path/ - Listen After God rejected Saul as the king of Israel, the prophet Samuel was having a hard time. Then one day God said, “You have mourned long enough for Saul. I have rejected him as king of Israel, so fill your flask with olive oil and go to Bethlehem. Find a man named Jesse who lives there, for I have selected one of his sons to be my king” (1 Samuel 16:1 NLT). Samuel obeyed the Lord and went to Bethlehem, which created quite a stir. Bethlehem was a small, obscure place. In fact, the prophet Micah described it as “only a small village among all the people of Judah” (Micah 5:2 NLT). Therefore, when a guy like Samuel showed up, everyone was fearful. But Samuel wanted to meet Jesse and his sons because he knew that one of the sons would be the next king of Israel. This reminds us that God usually leads us only one step at a time. He doesn’t give us a detailed blueprint of where we will be in the future. Rather, it’s a journey of faith. There may be times in our lives when the Lord clearly directs us to do certain things. But there may be many other situations in which we must simply take biblical principles and, to the best of our ability, live them. Sometimes we will need to prayerfully take steps of faith. In the Book of Acts we find an interesting story about a man named Philip, who was preaching in Samaria. People were coming to faith, and miracles were taking place. But then God spoke to him through an angel and directed him to go to the desert. God didn’t tell him what would happen after that. The message was simple: go to the desert. How easily Philip could have argued and said, “Excuse me, Lord, we are having a revival here. Great things are happening. Why should I go to the desert? What’s in the desert?” To Philip’s credit, he obeyed. And there in the desert he saw an entourage of chariots. In the midst of them was a foreign dignitary from Ethiopia who had been in Jerusalem searching for God. He had not found Him there. But he was reading aloud from the scroll of Isaiah that described the suffering Messiah (see Isaiah 53). When Philip saw this, he knew why he was there. God had sent Philip to talk with this man. When God tells us to do something, we need to do it. God’s way becomes plain when we start walking in it. Obedience to revealed truth guarantees guidance in matters unrevealed. Many times we don’t know what to do until we take a step of faith. Then, when we take it, we will realize what the next step is. What has God given you to do right now? Do it. Don’t worry about a year from now or ten years from now. Do what God has placed before you today, and He will show you what to do next. I ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with us to get the Word out and keep the world informed. Remember, your gift, no matter how small, does make a difference! You will be helping to touch lives, around the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thanks to the internet your generosity carries a global impact! - Thanks! Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 If you have been blessed by Prophecy Update and would like to help support this ministry financially.
