Rumors Of War: China Rebukes Election Of New Taiwan President; UK Official Warns The Era Of Peace Is Over – Featured - https://harbingersdaily.com/rumors-of-war-china-rebukes-election-of-new-taiwan-president-uk-offical-warns-the-era-of-peace-is-over/
On Saturday, current vice president and independence advocate Lai Ching-te (also known as William Lai) was elected the next president of Taiwan, winning over 40% of the popular vote. The election drew a series of strong rebukes from China, as experts noted that Lai’s victory signaled the continued resolve of the Taiwanese people to maintain their independence from the increasingly hostile communist regime. The election marked the third consecutive time that Taiwanese citizens installed the country’s ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), which has maintained a consistent stance for Taiwanese independence from China. The DPP victory was quickly dismissed by Chinese officials, with the communist regime condemning the U.S. and the Philippines, among others, for congratulating Taiwan’s new president. “Taiwan is China’s Taiwan,” one state official declared. The Chinese Embassy in London was similarly dismissive, stating, “No matter how the situation in Taiwan changes, the basic fact that Taiwan is part of China will not change.” Meanwhile, The Washington Post reported that four Chinese military vessels were detected near Taiwan following the election, and “a high-altitude Chinese balloon floated off the northwest coast near the capital.” On Tuesday, Gordon Chang, distinguished senior fellow at the Gatestone Institute, joined “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” to discuss the implications of Taiwan’s election. “Freedom had a great day, which means that Xi Jinping and the Communist Party had a horrible day,” he observed. “[William Lai] said throughout the campaign that his motto was going to be ‘continuity’ — continuity with Tsai Ing-wen, the current president. … Taiwan’s on a collision course with China, but it’s not because of the Democratic Progressive Party or William Lai or anything like that. They’re on a collision course with China because of China. And even if one of the pro-China candidates had been elected on Saturday, there still would be a collision, because Xi Jinping would be demanding that they surrender to China. And that’s just not possible in a democratic society where people believe that they are not Chinese.” As Perkins further noted, Biden administration officials have repeatedly stated their desire to maintain the “status quo” with China in order to keep the peace. “We might want peace, but I’m not so sure that’s what’s on China’s agenda,” he remarked. “No, it certainly isn’t,” Chang agreed. “You know, we’ve heard a lot of bland statements from the Biden administration. They sound good to the ear. But during the [last] three years, we have witnessed the failure and catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, Russia’s attack on Ukraine, China and Russia fueling insurgencies across North Africa that look like wars, and of course the October 7 attack on Israel, which now has spread to the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf, and the Indian Ocean. So really what has occurred is a failure of the international system under Biden. Yeah, they can tell us nice sounding words, but they don’t mean anything because they’re not backed up.” Chang went on to express alarm about the consequences that perceived weakness on the part of the Biden administration will have on the world stage. “I’m really concerned because the Chinese can see the feeble responses of the Biden administration to all these crises, and then believe that they can do what they want,” he said. “… I think they’re getting the message that they have a free hand to greenlight all sorts of invasions around the world. You know, Tony, in 1939, there were crises across the world. There were wars across the world, and they merged into what we now know as World War II. And unfortunately, the same dynamic is occurring today. And I hope to God it doesn’t have the same result. But we are on a momentum toward global conflict.” On Monday, Britain’s Defense Secretary Grant Shapps echoed Chang’s concerns in a major speech in London, in which he urged Britain and its allies to increase defense spending in the face of an array of global threats. “The era of the peace dividend is over,” he declared. “In five years’ time, we could be looking at multiple theatres involving Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea. Ask yourself, looking at today’s conflicts across the world, is it more likely that that number grows or reduces? I suspect we all know the answer: it’s likely to grow.” Another factor to keep in mind is China’s current domestic situation, Chang pointed out. “I think their go/no-go decision [to invade Taiwan] is going to be based on domestic Chinese considerations,” he contended. “… [W]e do see symptoms of distress in Chinese society. … [China’s economy is] basically at 0% growth, maybe negative one, maybe plus one. It’s nowhere near the 5.2% that the premier of China mentioned at Davos, because we see a lot of indicators pointing to negative growth, and we see deflation tightening its grip over the Chinese economy.” Invading Taiwan would likely help China’s economy, Chang concluded. “It certainly helps Xi Jinping, perhaps because he needs to have something to distract the Chinese people from his failing domestic policies. Dan Hart is senior editor at The Washington Stand. Editor’s Note: Why Is This News Biblically Relevant? Jack Hibbs, Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, noted that the global escalation and weakness of US leadership, Biblically, is an indicator of the times in which we live. “America used to be that strongman, a bulwark of both morality and leadership, which caused belligerent nations and itching dictators to think twice before making an aggressive move in any direction,” he described. “But sadly, America’s diminished morality has led to a lack of strong leadership, racing downhill on an ever-steepening slope.” American weakness of the global scene, Hibbs underscored, will only lead to more aggressive actions in the days ahead by Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and others. “Wars and rumors of wars can be a frightening prospect to those who have no idea what’s coming,” Hibbs explained. “But for the Christian who has studied the Bible, the escalation of aggression we are seeing is just one more indicator that we draw closer to the end” (Matthew 24:6). All Of A Sudden, Leaders All Over The World Are Warning That World War III Is Very Close - by Michael Snyder - https://endoftheamericandream.com/all-of-a-sudden-leaders-all-over-the-world-are-warning-that-world-war-iii-is-very-close/ Prominent leaders all over the globe are starting to publicly acknowledge that World War III is coming. In many cases they are expressing hope that it can still be avoided, but that becomes less likely with each passing day. Multiple parties are escalating the conflict in the Middle East, the war in Ukraine has entered a dangerous new phase, and the election that just happened in Taiwan has made a Chinese invasion much more probable. So what is going to happen if major powers start tangling with one another all over the planet? We really are on the brink of the unthinkable, but most people in the general population have no idea how dire things have become. On Monday, British Defense Minister Grant Shapps warned that we are now in a “pre-war world” and that western powers could soon find themselves fighting Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea… …now is the time for all allies and democratic nations across the world to… make sure their defence spending is growing too. Because as discussed, the era of the peace dividend is over. In five years time we could be looking at multiple theatres including Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea. …we find ourselves at the dawn of this new era. [The] Berlin Wall a distant memory but we have come full circle, moving from a post-war to a pre-war world. An age of idealism has been replaced by a period of hard-headed realism. I was stunned that he was willing to give the public such an honest assessment. But of course he is right. Multiple wars are coming. U.S. officials are issuing similar warnings. Here is one example… A source inside the Pentagon has warned Daily Express US that “we are on the brink of World War 3” amid surging conflict in the Middle East sparked largely by Iran. The source inside the Pentagon that issued this rather ominous warning is a man named Nicholas Drummond, and he claims that the current war in the Middle East could literally result in “the end of Iran”… Defense expert Nicholas Drummond echoed concerns that the conflict in the Middle East could potentially escalate but warned that if Tehran directly attacked Israel, the ensuing war would be “the end of Iran”. So exactly what sort of weapons would be required to bring about “the end of Iran”? You might want to reflect on that for a moment. There is also a lot of talk about World War III in Russia. In fact, one of Russia’s most prominent news anchors named Vladimir Solovyov recently told his audience that our planet is “moving towards World War III”… “We are moving towards World War III. In my opinion, it’s already underway. By the way Trump thinks so too,” the Russian presenter added, as he tried to cut to a soundbite of the former president condemning U.S. strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen. Yes, he was actually quite correct about Donald Trump. Not too long ago, Trump publicly warned a crowd in Iowa that “we’re very close to World War III”… “World War III, we’re very close. I don’t know if you feel it. I don’t know, madam attorney general, if you feel it, but we’re very close to World War III when you see these discussions taking place.” Personally, I am entirely convinced that World War III has already started, but what Trump and others are talking about is the hot phase when missiles start flying all over the place and millions of people die. And we are so close to that right now. The following comes from a Daily Mail article entitled “The descent into World War 3: How Russia, Iran and China are simultaneously making moves that will drag us all into conflict”… Leaked German intelligence documents suggest Berlin expects Russia to launch another wave of attacks to overwhelm Ukraine, and is scrambling to come up with contingency plans in the event Russian troops march westward from Belarus. The Israel-Hamas conflict threatens to spread violence across the Middle East, with Iran’s so-called ‘Axis of Resistance’ – including Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Yemen’s Houthi rebels – increasing their attacks on Israel and commercial shipping routes, prompting the UK and US to launch a series of devastating strikes by air and sea. Further East, Taiwan’s election of a new democracy-loving president has angered Beijing even further, with a Chinese invasion of the island nation in the coming years looking ever more likely. It is likely that the Middle East will be the first flashpoint to fully erupt. The region has become so unstable over the past couple of months, and the entire world was stunned this week when Iran decided to launch missiles and drones into Iraq, Syria and Pakistan… Within 24 hours, Iran launched missile and drone strikes on targets in three countries — Iraq, Syria and Pakistan — and took the extraordinary step of announcing its responsibility for the attacks, triggering anger from its neighbors. So why did Iran do this? The Iranians claim that the strike in Iraq targeted “an Israeli spy hub”… Baghdad recalled its ambassador to Iran after the Monday night attack on its northern semi-autonomous Kurdistan region killed four civilians and injured at least six. Tehran said the strike targeted an Israeli spy hub near the U.S. consulate in Erbil, the Kurdistan regional capital city. Iraqi Kurdish Prime Minister Masrour Barzani rejected the Iranian claim, describing the attack as a “crime against the Kurdish people.” Iraq’s Foreign Ministry, meanwhile, called the attacks a “violation of international law” and said it would file a complaint with the U.N. Security Council. France’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Iran was “contributing to the escalation of regional tensions — and it must stop.” As for the strikes in Syria and Pakistan, the Iranians claim that they were trying to hit Sunni groups that commit acts of terrorism… Tehran also hit what it said were Islamic State targets in northern Syria in tandem with its strikes on Iraq. It then went on to target the headquarters of a Sunni armed group in Pakistan’s western Balochistan province near the Iranian border. Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that it “strongly condemns the unprovoked violation of its airspace by Iran” which it said killed two children and injured three more. It added that “it is even more concerning that this illegal act has taken place despite the existence of several channels of communication between Pakistan and Iran.” This could potentially draw Pakistan into the war in the Middle East. And let us not forget that Pakistan has nuclear weapons. It is very unusual for Iran to be this aggressive. And Iran’s Defense Minister is promising that his nation will not hesitate to conduct similar missile strikes in the future… The morning after Iranian attacks on neighboring Pakistan and Iraq, Iran’s defense minister vowed Wednesday that his country would “not set any limits” on using its missile capabilities against enemies whenever necessary. “We are a missile power in the world,” the minister, Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, told reporters at a Cabinet meeting, according to state media. “Wherever they want to threaten the Islamic Republic of Iran, we will react, and this reaction will definitely be proportionate, tough and decisive.” Meanwhile, the IDF and Hezbollah continue to pummel one another along Israel’s northern border… The Israeli armed forces carried out a massive wave of airstrikes and artillery fire against targets in the Saluki valley in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, following repeated attacks against Israeli targets by the Lebanese terror organization Hezbollah. According to Israel Defense Forces, the terror group “makes extensive use” of the valley for its activities, hiding its weapons and infrastructures in the valley’s forested areas. According to Lebanese reports, the Israeli airstrike was among the largest of the war so far, hitting 15 different targets in at least 30 launched strikes. And on Tuesday the U.S. military actually hit the Houthis in Yemen with a “pre-emptive attack” because the Houthis were apparently getting ready to launch more anti-ship ballistic missiles… On Tuesday US forces carried out another round of strikes on Houthi sites in Yemen, but this time the operation is being dubbed a “pre-emptive” attack that came in response to militants preparing missile launches on the ground in real time. “US forces struck and destroyed four Houthi anti-ship ballistic missiles,” a Central Command (CENTCOM) statement saud. “These missiles were prepared to launch from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen and presented an imminent threat to both merchant and US Navy ships in the region.” War is here. In fact, 2024 is going to be a year of war, and wherever conflict happens the U.S. is almost certainly going to be involved. So how will the American people respond as the world erupts in flames? In recent weeks, we have seen crazed protesters do some very alarming things in Washington, New York, Los Angeles and elsewhere. But the truth is that World War III is still only in the very early stages. So what is going to happen once global events spiral completely out of control? Unfortunately, I believe that it won’t be too long before we find out. DOWNLOAD THE PROPHECY UPDATE APP Prophecy Update Videos Must Watch Videos! Videos You Can Trust

No, not every single one of them, but many of them! The Bible tells us in Matthew 24 that the Jews in Israel will be fooled by the Antichrist who makes a covenant with them (Daniel 9:27). He pretends to be their best friend, then turns on them halfway through the Tribulation. They flee to the wilderness (Petra) and are protected, and then they “see Him whom they pierced” (Zech. 12:10) and turn to the Messiah Yeshua. But how and why would they give up the good life in the West, a life of prosperity and comfort, and go back to the land of Israel? Then came this headline in The Times of Israel during the Israel-Hamas war: Dear Diaspora Jews: It’s Over. The author, Josh Feldman, writes, “As an Australian Jew, I’ve always proudly contended that I live in the safest Jewish community in the world. We have no lists of synagogues shot up by white supremacists, nor politicians whose campaign to become prime minister prompted nearly half the country’s Jews to consider leaving. “And while Australian Jewry — which is believed to have the world’s largest Holocaust survivor population per capita outside of Israel — is well aware of the dangers of Anti-Semitism, much of the community has long shared this sentiment. Anti-Semitism has always been present, but it was rarely, if ever, a cause for widespread anxiety. “If the outbreak of Jew-hatred after the October 7 massacre didn’t change that, then November 10 did. As Melbourne’s Jews welcomed Shabbat, a mob of Arab and far-left thugs traveled from the other side of the city to protest in the heart of Melbourne’s Jewish community, forcing a synagogue only meters from the protest to evacuate mid-prayer.” The writer concludes, “For much of Diaspora Jewry, this is an immensely disorientating time, and understandably so. But as I told a friend who said the other day that no matter where we live, Jews will always be outnumbered by those who hate us, there is, in fact, one place we can go. It’s home to some seven million Jews, is run by Jews, for Jews. “If ever there was a time to move to Israel, it’s now.” The author sums up saying, “In a post-Holocaust West, however, many Jews believed that they, too, had found countries that could guarantee not just their safety, but their sense of security. As long as that remained true, there was little reason to leave — hence, why approximately half of world Jewry lives outside of Israel. “The last few weeks and months have shattered that illusion for many Jews.” God is calling the Jews home to Israel to complete His end-time plan, and to wind down history as we know it. The Time of Jacob’s Trouble is on the horizon. What if You Were Called? - Nathele Graham - [email protected] Abram was a man who lived far apart from God. He lived in a pagan culture, and his family embraced that culture. Abram was married to Sarai, who was unable to have children. God saw something special in Abram (later known as Abraham), and He called Abram to leave the pagan influence of his home and family behind. Let’s take a look at the summary of this as told by Stephen when he was martyred. “And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, and said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee. Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.” Acts 7:2-4. God called Abram to greatness, but in order to achieve what God promised, he had to leave all paganism behind. Abram, like most of us, had a hard time separating from the people he loved. Instead of immediately leaving for the land that God promised him, he stayed with his father. It was only after his father had died that Abram left the home and family he had grown up in to be obedient to God. Abram was also promised that he would have children to inherit the land. Sarai was barren, so that was, to Abram, an odd promise. “And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.” Acts 7:5. God is able to use us even though we drag our feet in doing His will. We may even laugh when we receive a promise from God. Even though Abraham couldn’t understand how God could give him children and inheritance in a land he had not entered, God works in ways that we can’t always understand. Sarah was well past childbearing age when she did indeed give birth to Isaac. The world is blessed through him because he was the one whose descendants would bring forth the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Sometimes we fall into situations that seem very bad, but end up being used for God’s glory. Such was the situation with Joseph. Isaac had two sons, Esau and Jacob. Esau was a rebellious one who didn’t honor the God of his father Isaac. Jacob had other problems, but God chose him to be the father of 12 sons who would be the 12 tribes of Israel. They weren’t always the most obedient sons. Joseph was Jacob’s favorite. He was the son of his favorite wife, Rachel. Jacob had taken 2 wives and had children by both of them, as well as by 2 of their servants. God uses sinners, and such was the case with Jacob. Joseph’s brothers hated him because Jacob favored him. They plotted to get rid of Joseph. When Jacob sent Joseph to see how the older brothers were getting along with the sheep they were tending, they decided to stage his death and threw him into a pit. Things looked bad to Joseph, but he couldn’t see the great plans God had for him. The brothers decided to sell Joseph. “Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen: and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ismeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.” Genesis 37:28. In Egypt, they found a buyer for Joseph. “And the Midianites sold him into Egypt unto Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh’s, and captain of the guard.” Genesis 37:36. God was putting in place the necessary pieces to save Jacob and his sons from an upcoming famine. Even though Joseph was a slave in Egypt, he still honored the God of his fathers, and all that he did was successful. Joseph did his best service for Potiphar, who promoted him to overseer. Potiphar’s wife was attracted to him, but Joseph was a man of integrity and refused her advances. This angered her, and she falsely accused Joseph of taking advantage of her. Once again, what seemed to be a bad situation was used for God’s glory. Joseph was put in prison, but one day Pharaoh had a dream that troubled him. Joseph was asked to interpret the dream. He said the dream showed there would be 7 years of great plenty, followed by 7 years of famine. Joseph told Pharoah to appoint a man to collect food and store it during the years of plenty and then use it to feed the people during the years of famine. Pharoah liked the plan and appointed Joseph to the high position. “Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.” Genesis 41:40. When God is honored, great things happen. Joseph was faithful to his job, and when the famine came, the Egyptians were prepared and even able to share their food with others, including Jacob, his 11 remaining sons, and all their households. Joseph’s obedience and faithfulness saved the children of Israel because they came to Egypt to buy food. Joseph was reunited with his father. They lived and prospered in Egypt for many years, but as the Pharaohs came and went, the Hebrews were made slaves and suffered much hardship. They eventually remembered God and cried out to Him for help. The years passed, and the Israelites prospered in Egypt. Stephen tells us, “Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph. The same dealt subtly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children to the end they might not live.” Acts 7:18-19. The pharaoh, who didn’t know history, was ignorant of the blessing that the Israelites had been to Egypt and the world. It seems as if evil people always try to ignore the blessing of Israel to the world. Pharoah became afraid that the Israelites would usurp his power, so he set about to destroy them. Hebrew babies were to be left to die, and by Pharoah’s orders, midwives were to kill Hebrew babies at birth. Satan was trying to destroy Israel then, and he’s trying to destroy them today. The midwives refused to be part of this murderous plan. When Moses was born, his mother hid him so that he would not be murdered “And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein: and she laid it in the flags by the river’s brink.” Exodus 2:3. By God’s design, Pharoah’s daughter found him and saved him. Moses was raised in Pharoah’s household and learned the Egyptian ways. Moses knew he was Hebrew, and one day, he saw an Egyptian abusing a Hebrew slave: “And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.” Exodus 2:12. Moses was forced to flee from Egypt and ended up in Midian, married the priest’s daughter, and tended his sheep. Meanwhile, in Egypt, Pharoah died, but the Israelites were still slaves. God heard their cries for help. “And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.” Exodus 2:25. This is what God had prepared Moses for to free the children of Israel from Egyptian slavery and lead them to the land He had promised to Abraham. Moses was to approach Pharoah to free the Israelites. Moses had many excuses, but God knew Moses was able to accomplish what he was chosen to do. One day Moses was tending the sheep and saw a bush that was on fire, but it wasn’t being destroyed. Curiosity caused him to go see about this wonder. Then God called to him from the bush. God Identified Himself as the God of Abraham. The God of Isaac. And the God of Jacob. God will never turn His back on the nation of Israel. He works through people, and this time it was Moses he chose. “Now, therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.” Exodus 3:9. Make no mistake, God sees the oppression by the Muslim nations surrounding Israel today, and the UN; He won’t put up with it for much longer. God told Moses that it was his calling to bring the Israelites out of Egypt. Moses had many excuses for why he couldn’t do it. “And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?” Exodus 3:11. God told Moses exactly what to do and how it would all play out, but still Moses made excuses. First, he was to go to the Elders of Israel. “And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice, for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.” Exodus 4:1. God answered the excuse with miracles. “And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech and of a slow tongue.” Exodus 4:10. God assured Moses that He would be with him, but allowed Aaron, Moses’ brother, to speak for him. Finally, Moses agreed. He must have felt as if he failed because He approached Pharoah numerous times, but Pharoah refused to set Israel free. Plagues followed each refusal. The last plague killed the firstborn of each family unless they had the blood of the lamb on their doorposts. It was only the blood of the lamb that could save anybody, Hebrew or Egyptian, from death. Only the blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, can save us from death today. Pharoah did let the Israelites go, but there were many challenges that Moses faced in leading them to the Promised Land. God had prepared Moses just as He prepares everybody He calls. There are many more people we could look at, such as any one of the judges, or the prophet Jeremiah who made excuses as to why he couldn’t do what God asked, or Queen Esther, who understood that she had been placed in the position of being the only one who could approach the king and save the Jewish people from Haman’s evil plot to destroy them. Study Daniel’s life, and you will see that no matter what the people around him worshipped, Daniel would only bow down and worship God. In the New Testament, we read about Mary and her unquestioning obedience in agreeing to bear the Son of God. We also read of the twelve disciples and see the strengths and failings of each of them. Judas had the same opportunities as the others but was the disciple who betrayed Jesus. He only had head-knowledge of Jesus, not heart-knowledge. Judas could have been forgiven, but he wasn’t repentant. He was sorry for what he did and took his own life, but he wasn’t repentant. Paul wasn’t one of the twelve disciples but was one who persecuted Christians. He held the coats of the men who stoned Stephen as Stephen spoke about the great men of Jewish history. When Paul truly met Jesus, his life was radically changed, and we benefit from his many letters, which are included in Scripture. Even in today’s mixed-up, crazy world, men and women are still called by God. What if you were called? How would you respond? Would you take your time like Abraham? He was told to leave his pagan home and family, but only left after his father died. God didn’t take away the calling or promise, but the things Abraham was to accomplish were delayed. If you were called, would you be like Joseph and honor God in all your ways, whether you understood the reasons or not? Are you too sinful to repent and change your life and serve God? Paul did, and so can you. Has God asked you to witness to a friend? Are you “slow of tongue”? God will help you just like He has helped so many others. The point is that we all have shortcomings, but God can use us anyway. We don’t all have the same abilities or calling, but God has something for you to do. You probably never think about the experiences you have in life that have trained you for something necessary for God’s work. God has always given people opportunities to be in His service. He has given “training” in the task set before us, but we just call it “life-experience”. Maybe you aren’t called to lead a nation to the promised land, but maybe you are called to lead a friend or neighbor to Christ. Just like the heroes of the Bible, God will never ask you to do anything that you can’t accomplish…especially if you are sure to let God lead. God has something for you to do. Don’t argue or drag your feet. Let Him lead you on the great adventure of serving Him. You won’t regret it. Daily Jot: Pfizer study shows early COVID vax ineffective - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com An October-December 2023 study of 4,232 positive COVID cases and 19,775 controls in the Kaiser Permanente Southern California health system sponsored by Pfizer indicated that early COVID vaccines “offered little, if any, additional protection compared to the unvaccinated, including against COVID-19 hospital admission, regardless of the number or type of prior doses received.” This despite the federal government insisting the vaccines were safe and effective, using corporate media to censor those who disagreed, hospital systems firing doctors and nurses who didn’t comply, and bullying people to take the vaccines or risk being barred from participation in society. Authors wrote in the study abstract, “Compared to the unvaccinated, those who had received only older versions of COVID-19 vaccines did not show significantly reduced risk of COVID-19 outcomes, including hospital admission… Older versions of COVID-19 vaccines offered little, if any, additional protection compared to the unvaccinated, including against COVID-19 hospital admission, regardless of the number or type of prior doses received.” The study, however, indicated that the newer COVID vaccines provided significant additional protection against a range of COVID-19 outcomes. Interesting that this study paid for by Pfizer admits that the old COVID vaccines didn’t work, but now that Pfizer is promoting a new vaccine, the study says it works. Isn’t that the same thing Pfizer said of the old vaccine when it was new? But there is more. In response to a December 6, 2023 letter to the FDA by Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo questioning the safety of the mRNA shots, Ladpo said the FDA provided, “no reassurance that DNA integration assessments were conducted to address the safety concerns outlined by the FDA itself in 2007.” The FDA instead wrote: “The challenge we continue to face is the ongoing proliferation of misinformation and disinformation about these vaccines which results in vaccine hesitancy that lowers vaccine uptake. Given the dramatic reduction in the risk of death, hospitalization and serious illness afforded by the vaccines, lower vaccine uptake is contributing to the continued death and serious illness toll of COVID-19.” Ladpo on January 3 called for a halt to the use of the mRNA COVID shots. The Pfizer study along with FDA admission that it didn’t follow its own policies to assure the mRNA shot’s safety, confirms what mRNA vaccine critics were saying early in the COVID pandemic. It is verification of what the ongoing experiment on the human population was demonstrating throughout the COVID scare. In fact, there now have been hundreds of studies showing that these so-called vaccines not only didn’t perform as advertised, but were and are a threat to the health of those who complied with the shot mandates and fear-mongering. Heart complications, blood clots, autoimmune disorders and death are the documented results of these shots. Yet the federal government continues to promote getting the mRNA shots for everyone, even young children, on a yearly basis. That is because we think we have someone cool on our side. That’s fine. Time will tell whether their conversion is genuine. But it’s important for us to remember that God goes out of His way to use ordinary people. And the people God has used to touch the world often have been those you never would have expected to do great things with their lives. It came as a surprise when God chose David, a shepherd boy, to become the next king of Israel. Yet David took it all in stride and wisely waited on the Lord for further direction. In many ways, David was the very opposite of Saul, the first king of Israel. Saul came from a family who loved him, while David came from a family that neglected and even disliked him. While Saul was the most handsome man in all of Israel, David was an ordinary man. While Saul was attractive on the outside, he was vain, shallow, and devoid of true integrity on the inside. In contrast, David had a deep commitment to God, even though he was very young. This reminds us of the truth of Paul’s words: “Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful” (1 Corinthians 1:26–27 NLT). God uses ordinary people. For example, Dwight L. Moody, one of the greatest evangelists of his day, was a shoe salesman. When he heard the gospel and gave his life to Christ, he went from selling soles to saving souls. One day he was having a conversation with another Christian, who said, “The world has yet to see what God can do with a man fully consecrated to Him.” Moody determined to be that man. And Billy Graham, before he began his ministry, was a dairy farmer in North Carolina. Everyone knew him as Billy Frank. And he would have been about the last person whom people expected to become the most effective evangelist in world history. The Bible says, “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him” (2 Chronicles 16:9 NLT). Notice this doesn’t say that God is looking for strong people. Rather, it says that God is looking “to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” The Bible is replete with stories like that of David, an obscure shepherd boy who was taken out of the fields and raised up to be the greatest king in the history of Israel. Would you like God to use you to touch the lives of others? Would you like God to lead you and speak through you? God goes out of His way to use ordinary people to do extraordinary things.
