What’s likely to become the biggest travel event during 2024 in America? Some might think it would be the Super Bowl or another sporting event such as the Indianapolis 500. However, according to the Washington Post, it will be the solar eclipse that will cross the U.S. on April 8, 2024. This eclipse sparks added interest among prophecy watchers because of its relationship to another darkening of the sun that occurred on August 21, 2017. The two eclipses, seven years apart, will form an X on America intersecting at Little Egypt, a small town in southern Illinois. Is this just a coincidence, or is it the Lord’s way of alerting America that judgment is on the way? The Coincidence The pattern of two solar eclipses forming an X over the U.S. also happened in the early 1800’s. Remarkably, the intersection of this century’s solar eclipses will be about one hundred miles from where those of the nineteenth century crossed paths. The first solar eclipse occurred on June 16, 1806, with the second completing the X on September 17, 1811. The intersection happened over the New Madrid fault area, which includes an area from Cairo in southern Illinois to nearby New Madrid, MO. On December 16, 1811, just three months after the second solar eclipse, a series of devastating earthquakes struck along the New Madrid fault line. The following quote comes from New Madrid, MO, website: The New Madrid earthquakes were the biggest earthquakes in American history. They occurred in the central Mississippi Valley, but were felt as far away as New York City, Boston, Montreal, and Washington D.C. President James Madison and his wife Dolly felt them in the White House. Church bells rang in Boston. From December 16, 1811, through March of 1812 there were over 2,000 earthquakes in the central Midwest, and between 6,000-10,000 earthquakes in the Bootheel of Missouri where New Madrid is located near the junction of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. In the known history of the world, no other earthquakes have lasted so long or produced so much evidence of damage as the New Madrid earthquakes. Three of the earthquakes are on the list of America’s top earthquakes: the first one on December 16, 1811, a magnitude of 8.1 on the Richter scale; the second on January 23, 1812, at 7.8; and the third on February 7, 1812, at as much as 8.8 magnitude. Could the upcoming completion of an X across the U.S. midsection by the April 8, 2024, eclipse point to another catastrophe in the months afterward? Is this just an uncanny coincidence, or something more ominous? Final Warning? I believe this year’s solar eclipse, which will complete an X over the U.S., signifies the nearness of God’s judgment even if it’s not His last warning. I say this for a couple reasons. First, we live during a time of unprecedented moral decay in the U.S. that has corrupted the majority of politicians in our government. Despite the reversal of Roe versus Wade, the shedding of innocent blood continues and now exceeds a total of sixty-two million babies murdered in the womb since 1973. Both sex trafficking and pedophilia continue unabated in the U.S. with the Biden administration unashamedly promoting the LGBQT+ agenda both in America and all across the world. The U.S. President is putting extreme pressure on Israel to give up its pursuit of the Hamas terrorists and agree to a two-state solution, which he says is the only path to peace. The Bible, however, tells us that the Lord will deal harshly with any nation that pursues such a policy of dividing His Land. Second, we live in the shadow of the seven-year Tribulation when the entire earth will experience the fury of God’s wrath. Those who know and believe the words of biblical prophecy recognize the myriad of signs telling us that this time is ever so near. It’s certain that the Lord will bring much destruction to America during this time, but does the upcoming solar eclipse signify the nearness of this time? Is it God’s final warning to America? Only time will tell. We know that His wrath will fall on the U.S., we just don’t know when. It could be this week, next month, this year, or later. We do know that at any moment, Jesus will come for His own and soon afterwards, sudden destruction will fall upon the unsuspecting world (1 Thessalonians 5:1-10). The April 8, 2024. solar eclipse may not be the Lord’s final warning for an unsuspecting nation and world, but then again, it might be. Think about this big one… 2600 years ago Ezekiel prophesied that Russia, Iran and Turkey would be allies at the end of the Church Age and invade Israel. Ezek. 38/39 Just last year Russia, Iran and Turkey became allies against Israel and the United States, formalizing their unity at a summit in Tehran. (1) Again this was prophesied 2600 years ago!!! And on top of that, Israel was to be regathered in her homeland with a mighty army (Ezek. 37) and that the tiny nation of Israel would become a burdensome stone to the whole world. Amazing! There are many other last days prophecies being fulfilled, but one of the most interesting ones is that the United States is not listed as an end-time player during the 7-years of Tribulation. We know this because we can see clearly that the 10 toes of Daniel 2 (the 10 countries making a peace treaty with Israel for 7 years) do not include the United States. Five are from European leg and five are from the Middle Eastern leg. If we’re close to the end of the Church Age, why is the United States, the greatest, most powerful nation in the history of the world, not mentioned in the Bible? What happens to her and when does it take place? Should we worry about the total collapse of our nation before the Rapture? The first days after our worldwide thunderous exit is when I believe the Bible teaches the United States is totally demolished. Here’s why: We know from Matt. 24:37-39/Luke 17:26-30 that up until the Rapture there will be electricity, food, energy, and functioning economy with social events. Then, immediately after the Rapture, Revelation 18 shows we have no electricity, no food, no energy, no economy and no social events. I have taught for 40 years that the United States is mystery Babylon in the Bible because there are some 20 characteristics of her that could only fit the USA. Rev. 18:17,19 Is one of the largest importing nations on earth. Rev. 18:11; Jer. 50:26 Is a nation full of foreigners. Jer. 50:37 Is the youngest nation of the superpowers. Jer. 50:12b A nations that distributes merchandise worldwide. Rev. 18:23 Is a nation that has a mother nation (i.e. Great Britain). Jer. 50.12a Is a nation that lives/lived luxuriously. Rev. 18:14 Is a nation founded in humility but became arrogant. Jer. 50:29,31 Is a nation that has abundant national resources. Jer. 50:37b; 51:13 Isa a nation bordered by many waters. Jer. 51:13, 42 I'm sorry but there is only one nation that fits that list. But only in the last few years did I discover a new characteristic to add to the list. Rev. 18 says Babylon (the USA) deceived the world with her drugs. ...all the nations were deceived by your sorcery [drugs]. Rev. 18:23b The Greek word translated “sorcery” is "pharmakia," where we get our English word "pharmacy." This nation deceived the world with her drugs. So that nails shut the debate as to who Babylon is in the last days. The USA is the distributor of the worldwide drugs/vaccines that is and will cause millions to die. God apparently is not happy about this worldwide drug distribution, as well as other national sins. Fortunately He tells Born Again Believers that they will be removed at the Rapture before He unleashes His horror. Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues; Rev. 18:4b So, it seems clear that our nation should NOT collapse until after the Rapture. So what's going on in America today? It’s pretty obvious that the United States' homeland is under attack. Not from the usual methods of troops, planes, ships and munitions type of war attacking us, but rather from a concerted effort to defeat us from the inside out Most of our nation’s major problems—border, health care, va((ine deaths, monetary, legal, military, woke culture, political—have almost assuredly been intentionally created by our enemies in order to collapse us. This attempt to destroy the USA is because we’re deemed to be the last obstacle for the Globalists/Satanists to implement their New World Order (NWO). In many ways we seem to be hanging on by a thread, teetering but not yet fallen. Because of the influence of the WEF, UN and WHO, the Federal level of government and the large blue cities and states, are currently being operated like a communist regime. It showed there was a conservative shift happening around the world. Not long after Brexit, Donald Trump was elected President. Now we now have Argentina shockingly electing a Trump-like President. Is that again a sign of a worldwide shift to conservatives? Could Donald Trump ride this conservative wave to get back into the White House? A lot of people here and abroad think he will. There's a chorus of concern coming from liberal world leaders that the NWO’s plans will implode if Trump gets reelected. They’re saying if Trump is reelected, it’ll be “the death blow to the NWO,” according to Yuval Harai, the number 2 guy in the World Economic Forum. Not that it "might be," but that it "would be" the death blow. Has their cherished NWO been an unelected house of cards all this time? There are things moving in the conservative direction all over the earth. A Canadian judge just ruled that Canada’s use of emergency powers to end the trucker protest was unconstitutional. He ruled that the Canadian government didn’t have the power to freeze the bank accounts of the truckers and those who sent them money. Trudeau is not looking good. Google recently dropped their censorship of anything to do with va((ine injury. You can now SEARCH for va((ine injury (but spell it correctly) and get actual links to different videos and articles on the subject that admit to myriads of injuries and death. In Germany truckers and tens of thousands of people joining them are blocking roads bringing Berlin to a standstill protesting the new plan for new high taxes on energy. JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon both spoke at the WEF gathering in Davos, Switzerland and interviewed on CNBC. To CNBC he said, "If you do not control the borders, you are going to destroy our country." To the WEF gathering on day one he shockingly heaped praise on Donald Trumps policies while he was President. He even said to the stunned room, "Trump was kind of right" about NATO and immigration. All this makes you think Trump has a good chance to sweep in November and change the direction of our nation. I sure hope so. But is this a real shift or are the Globalists/Satanists just letting some air out of the balloon before it pops? In the past they’ve pushed as far as they could, and then they backed off. Remember Clinton with the nationalized the healthcare proposals in the 1990s—they pushed too hard too fast and had to back off. They ultimately got their nationalized healthcare through Obama 15 years later. Are the Globalists/Satanists really worried about Trump being elected? Or did they push as far and as fast as they could and now are backing off for a while? We have to always consider that Satan is a master liar. And so are his peeps. The Globalist/Satanists might be tickling our ears, saying what we want to hear just to keep our eyes off the fact the va((ines are increasingly killing people worldwide. And that 10 million illegals have crossed the southern border under the Biden regime. Or they just want to occupy our time until the curtain falls. Who Do We Believe/What To Watch If Biden signs over our national healthcare administration to the WHO in May, as he has promised he will, we have our answer. If we get into WW3 under the Biden regime, we have our answer. If our nation’s power grid is knocked out, the banks close and when the Internet comes back up to only digital monetary transactions, we have our answer. If we for any reason end up with mandatory paper ballots nationwide, we have our answer. If all the sudden we own nothing and we're not happy, we have our answer. Or, maybe the Lord WILL allow Trump to run the table. We should certainly pray for that. I would love to have another potential four-years to openly witness and communicate and travel worldwide. We would love to plan another cruise or two to the Holyland! Plus, it seems that the Rapture might not happen until the 2026 to 2033 window, so Trump might be a God-send delay to slow down the Globalists/Satanists pre-Rapture progress. Regardless, in the meantime, we must keep the main thing the main thing—which is explaining far and wide THE most important truth—who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. WEF's most recent conference left no doubt that the world should resist being shaped by the secular-progressive, globalist agenda on display, included taking part in a pagan ritual, advocating for a universal and biometric ID and a global tax, "public-private" government censorship of the internet, and reining in elected officials' ability to deliver for their voters. The World Economic Forum held its 54th meeting in Davos, Switzerland, from January 15-19, 2024. Its speeches included Al Gore tying climate change ideology to the Bible, John Kerry's daughter rambling incoherently, and John Kerry boasting that "no one politician anywhere in the world can undo" efforts to impose the WEF's agenda. Here are some of the conference's most significant moments. 1. A Pagan Ritual The 2024 World Economic Forum became a coming out party, displaying the WEF's love of paganism. WEF concluded its Wednesday forum on "Climate and Nature" by inviting a shaman to carry out a pagan ritual for the healing of the planet, because "the healing is spiritual." The moderator, Gim Huay Neo, closed the discussion by inviting "a very special guest," Chieftess Putanny Yawanawá of Brazil's Yawanawá tribe, whose "cultural and spiritual identities" let them "protect and steward the lands ... over thousands of years." Neo continued, "We know that in order for us to look forward and build this future, we also need to look back and harness the wisdom of our ancestors." None of the panelists, who represent the power and wealth created by Western civilization, were descended from the Yawanawá tribe. Nor do most Americans have any desire to live like the Yawanawá tribe, whose entire population consists of about 1,200 people in 12 villages. Chieftess Putanny began her healing ritual by saying she represented "the voice of all the forest people" and "the voice of the forest." She then asked the crowd of elite secularists to "hold hands and unite our hearts, unite our thoughts in the same direction for healing of the planet. And the healing is spiritual." She then rubbed her hands together, chanted an incantation, and proceeded to breathe on the foreheads of the panelists. Some of the WEF's secular elitists, not knowing how to react, briefly broke out into applause. The recipients of the shaman's spirit included Klaus Schwab's wife, Hilde Schwab; the president of the World Bank Group, Ajay S. Banga; the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva; the CEO of IKEA, Jesper Brodin; billionaire André Hoffmann; the moderator, Neo; and one figure of particular importance to evangelical Christians. "Fun little cameo for Southern Baptists. See the second person on this panel, having a pagan ritual performed over her? That is Dr. Katharine Hayhoe who promotes climate alarmism among evangelicals," noted evangelical investigative journalist Megan Basham. She noted the president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Danny Akin, "has promoted Hayhoe to students" of the ministry school. Hayhoe spoke at a 2021 SEBTS conference on "The Goodness of Creation and Human Responsibility," where she said she embraced climate change because of her faith, and was interviewed on the seminary's "Christ and Culture" podcast. (Interestingly, Al Gore would also tie climate alarmism to the Bible at the WEF on Wednesday, insisting, "Every night on the television news is like a nature hike through the Book of Revelation.") Some may have thought it over the top when Larry Taunton, who attended WEF 2024, referred to its attendees as "members of a godless, secular cult" on "Washington Watch with Tony Perkins" last Thursday. But those who watched this pagan ritual can hardly find a more fitting illustration of Jesus's words, "Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of!" (Luke 9:55). Most Americans do not want anyone possessed of such a spirit making their laws, writing their HR regulations, or teaching their children. 2. A Digital ID to Track Your Whole Life One of the elitists' central conceits is that they have the right to surveil every aspect of their subjects' lives, for their own good. One invaluable tool in the effort is a mandatory identification card that puts as much information as possible at the government's fingerprints -- as noted during WEF's Thursday panel on "financial inclusion." Queen Máxima of the Netherlands (whose grandfather, Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld, co-founded the Bilderberg Group in 1954) urged governments to adopt a "ubiquitous" ID card that is "digital" and "biometric." Such an ID can not only provide surveillance over the financial industry, she said: "It's also good for school enrollment," and to see "who actually got a vaccination," as well as facilitating the redistribution of wealth to see that welfare recipients and other favored classes "get your subsidies from the government." The WEF has discussed digital IDs and apps for years. In 2022, Alibaba Group President J. Michael Evans announced that he was developing new technology "for consumers to measure their own carbon footprint." This device would monitor "where are they traveling, how are they traveling, what are they eating, what are they consuming on the platform." Of course, if the individual can measure his or her carbon footprint, so can the government -- which can then microtarget and micromanage individuals' lives. "We don't have it operational yet," Evans said two years ago, "but this is something that we're working on." For his part, former President Donald Trump vowed this month he'd "never allow the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency," or CBDC. "Such a currency would give the federal government absolute control of your money," a proposition he called a tool of "government tyranny" and "a dangerous threat to freedom." (He credited his position, which he adopted the day after the Iowa Caucus, to Vivek Ramaswamy.) 3. A Global Tax True global governance requires money and authority -- and the WEF discussed measures that would expand both at your expense. One speaker at the 2024 World Economic Forum advised that global bodies impose, not one, but two global taxes on the entire world. "Let's start taxing carbon," advised Amnesty International Secretary General Agnès Callamard at Friday's WEF panel on "global risks." She added that governments should enact "not just a carbon tax. The U.N. General Assembly has adopted a resolution ... on the necessity to have a global tax regime, so that actually we can raise the money required for all [the U.N.'s proposed] changes. ... Let's tax the corporate interests." The Biden administration took the first step toward such a tax in 2021, when it supported a "Global Minimum Tax." The Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) agreed to an outline on a 15% tax, which would allow foreign nations to tax U.S.-based corporations. According to the OECD's latest update, 55 nations have begun adopting the putatively voluntary guidelines, "with the rules coming into effect in 2024." President Joe Biden has also taken advice from carbon tax advocates. The Obama-Biden administration's science czar, John Holdren -- who wrote a book outlining an Orwellian global regime, including forced abortions for Americans with discredited climate alarmist Paul Ehrlich -- "worked closely with the Biden campaign," according to The New York Times. In 2007, Holdren proposed "a global framework" to impose "a substantial price on carbon emissions in all countries," preferably via a "carbon tax." This global tax would conclude with U.N.-strength IRS confiscating and "transferring some of the revenue produced by carbon taxes" away from the West. Such taxes fall hardest on the poor and make reliable energy less accessible. In office, Joe Biden has ordered all federal agencies to write regulations assessing the "social cost of carbon." Presumably, the global ID would make it more difficult to avoid paying a global tax. 4. Efforts to "Force" Social Media Companies to Yield to Government Censorship Most Americans felt outraged to learn U.S. government officials secretly flagged social media posts and accounts for companies to throttle, fact-check, or delete -- an action which has all the appearances of violating the law. But then, WEF attendees are not like other people. WEF's panel on "Protecting Democracy against Bots and Plots" complained that social media titans faced "scrutiny" and sought for ways to "force" companies to comply with free speech restrictions. Social media platforms that are "still keeping up the work" to censor, ban, or suppress disfavored views "are facing more political scrutiny and pressure to disband those efforts than ever," groused Alexandra Reeve Givens, the daughter of actor Christopher Reeve and CEO of the Google-aligned Center for Democracy and Technology. "In the United States, for example, right now we have congressional investigations and lawsuits against people who study mis- and disinformation on social media platforms. There is currently an injunction in place stopping the Biden administration from communicating with social media platforms." The fact that an American judge would prevent a Democratic administration from breaking the law creates a "bizarre environment" that undermines "trust and safety for our online environment," said Reeve. "We have to have the social media companies keep up the work." "Is there a way to force them?" asked moderator Ravi Agrawal, editor-in-chief of Foreign Policy magazine. This is no passing concern for WEF. It listed misinformation and disinformation as the greatest threat to America, a point driven home on WEF 2024's opening day by the president of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. An unexpected note of concern came Friday from Alex Soros, the scion of George Soros who now leads the Hungarian-born billionaire's tax-exempt political influence operation. "If we play too much on this disinformation card, we're taking responsibility away from ourselves to actually create a narrative that inspires people to vote," said Soros, speaking in a rapid staccato of stops and starts punctuated by verbalized pauses. Already, unelected bureaucrats have substantially leaned on social media platforms to silence stories they dislike in the name of COVID-19 "disinformation" or fighting "Russian interference" in U.S. elections. "We learned Twitter, Facebook, Google, and other companies developed a formal system for taking in moderation requests from every corner of government, from the FBI, the DHS, the HHS, DOD, the Global Engagement Center at State, even the CIA," liberal journalist Matt Taibbi revealed. "For every government agency scanning Twitter, there were perhaps 20 quasi-private entities doing the same thing, including Stanford's Election Integrity Partnership, NewsGuard, the Global Disinformation Index, and many others -- many taxpayer-funded." Likewise, Michael Shellenberger testified before Congress last December that, as "DHS-empowered researchers were asking social media platforms to take down, throttle, or otherwise censor social media posts, the president of the United States was accusing Big Tech of 'killing people,' his then-press secretary said publicly that the administration was 'flagging violative posts for Facebook,' members of Congress threatened to strip social media platforms of their legal right to operate because, they said, the platforms weren't censoring enough." "When they start talking about misinformation and disinformation, that's just code; that's just Orwellian speak for ending free speech. And their primary target is to go after X or Twitter," Taunton told Perkins. WEF, which calls itself "the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation," seems happy to have government censorship formally carried out by the "private sector." Such censorship aims to constrict political debate, stifle dissent, and prevent average American citizens from having any meaningful voice in their own government -- or even complain about it online. 5. Reining in Donald Trump, and U.S. Sovereignty Although the environs of the annual Davos conference lack no conceivable amenity, a persistent discomfort pulsed through the 2024 World Economic Forum: the possibility Donald Trump will defeat Joe Biden this November. To compensate, multiple speakers discussed the joys of circumventing democracy and hemming in Trump, or any elected leader who represents the average man instead of Davos Man. "How are we assessing the election risk? There is a risk the wrong leaders will get elected," declared Bloomberg TV's Haslinda Amin while moderating WEF's panel on global risks. To assure WEF had no doubts about who the "wrong leaders" might be, Alex Soros claimed Friday that America had an "unwritten" system of checks-and-balances until "one man, Donald Trump, literally came in and just took that all away." "So, what Trump is a monster at is, sort of, completely rattling and bringing down, sort of, the structures of institutions," added Soros's fellow panelist Rachel Botsman, who describes herself as "a world-renowned expert on an explosive new era of trust and technology." "Democracy often depends on trustworthy systems being able to hold untrustworthy individuals, right?" asked Botsman rhetorically, ironically in a panel on global democracy. "Fortunately, the United States has very strong institutions," including "the courts," replied S&P Global President Douglas L. Peterson. "We're gonna have to rely on them, depending on what the outcome of the election is. And we also need to make sure we stay engaged through the global institutions like the United Nations, like NATO, other organizations around the world -- and I add into that international trade pacts," to limit U.S. sovereignty under Donald Trump. But a U.S. government official revealed the globalists do not intend to rely solely on government institutions. Climate Envoy John Kerry boasted that no president would be able to stop the Green agenda favored by WEF elites, due to public-private partnerships and government incentives. "I don't want this obviously, but if you wound up with a different president who was opposed to climate crisis, I got news for you: No one politician anywhere in the world can undo what is happening now," boasted Kerry. "You know as well as I do," Kerry told his fellow WEF attendees. "The marketplace is doing this. The only issue for all of us is not whether or not we can get or will get to a low carbon and no carbon economy globally. We will." In reality, "the marketplace" is taking taxpayer funds and following government dictates to produce electric vehicles consumers do not want. The Biden administration dedicated $12 billion -- including $2 billion in grants -- to convert U.S. auto plants into EV plants and another $7.5 billion to build charging stations which, sadly, do not charge in the winter. But in November, nearly 4,000 car dealers informed the Biden administration, "The supply of unsold BEVs (battery electric vehicles) is surging, as they are not selling nearly as fast as they are arriving at our dealerships -- even with deep price cuts, manufacturer incentives, and generous government incentives." 6. The WHO, Lockdowns, and Pushing the Green Agenda to Preserve 'Health' Davos officials made it clear that public health measures will play a role in their plans, despite some of its most prominent considerations proving counterproductive. World Health Organization (WHO) Secretary-General Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus refused to answer Canadian journalist Andrew Lawton's question about whether he would reject lockdowns as a public health measure for future pandemics. During COVID-19, Ghebreyesus implied lockdowns did not go far enough. "Physically distancing restrictions are only part of the equation," he said. "Early case finding, testing, isolating, caring for every case and tracing every contact is essential." The China-backed doctor's silence is significant, as he is proposing a massive expansion of its authority through a global pandemic treaty, as well as controversial guidelines to expand abortion and transgenderism. Lockdowns won the praise of WEF panelist Dr. Sangrit Reddy, vice president of Apollo Hospitals, who said in India, "the fact that there was early intervention of vaccination, there was a lockdown" helped tremendously and that such mandates will be "important going forward." She also hoped artificial intelligence can "find and detect the problem so early that we can prepare for interventions." Climate change will also be weaponized as a "health crisis," said John Kerry's daughter, Vanessa Kerry, who is co-founder and CEO of Seed Global Health. "The climate crisis is a health crisis, fundamentally. And that actually means it is a crisis, therefore, also, of our stability, our security, our economic growth, and our fundamental survival as a globe," said Kerry inarticulately on Tuesday. Since "we are losing progress on [the U.N.'s] Sustainable Development Goals," nations "have to phase our fossil fuels, 'cause this is a crisis of burning fossil fuels." 7. Pushback Despite the bad ideas pervading this and every World Economic Forum, this year's Davos conference featured notes of dissent. Perhaps eyeing the reality of a Donald Trump presidency, WEF invited some bona fide conservatives to speak, cramming them mostly onto the same panel on Thursday. Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts boldly confronted World Economic Forum attendees with a harsh reality: "You are part of the problem." WEF attendees spout misinformation on such issues as illegal immigration, liberal cities' crime spree, climate change, WHO's global advocacy of extreme gender ideology, and the threat posed by the People's Republic of China. "China, the No. 1 adversary not just to the United States, but to free people on planet Earth. Not only do we at Davos not say that, we give the Chinese Communist Party a platform," Roberts said. President of Argentina Javier Millei delivered a bold address denouncing government interference in the marketplace. Such policies, whether described as fascism, socialism, social democracy, or command-and-control economics broadly, inevitably destroy wealth while enriching the tiny elite who preside over the state. Sky News Australia compared his scathing anti-socialist critique to Ricky Gervais's speech at the Golden Globes in 2020. Millei wants to "make Argentina a place that is free from globalists, free from their anti-human agenda," Larry Taunton, who attended WEF 2024, told "Washington Watch with Tony Perkins" last Thursday. President of Hungary Katalin Novák pushed back against the WEF's advocacy for prolonging Ukraine's war with Russia. "We have to avoid a Third World War," she said, including not getting militarily involved in the war between Russia and Ukraine, "and avoid the escalation of the war." Roberts said it best: The next U.S. president should see to it that "every single member of the administration needs to compile a list of everything that has ever been proposed at the World Economic Forum and object to all of them wholesale." When Churches Dismiss Bible Prophecy… They Do So To Their Own Detriment – By David Reagan - https://harbingersdaily.com/when-churches-dismiss-bible-prophecy-they-do-so-to-their-own-detriment/ Although prophecy constitutes almost one-third of the Bible, its importance is constantly downplayed by those who dismiss it as having no practical significance or by those who object to it on the grounds that it is a “fad” that takes people’s eyes off Jesus. Such cavalier dismissals of Bible prophecy fly in the face of scriptures like Revelation 19:10 which says that “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Thus, if prophecy is properly taught, there is no reason for it to divert anyone’s attention away from Jesus. In fact, it should serve to emphasize the centrality of Jesus. Is prophecy practical? Consider that all the New Testament writers testify to the fact that living with the anticipation of the Lord’s return will motivate holy living. What could be more practical than that? Here’s the way the Apostle John put it: 1 John 3: 2-3 KJV – “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” Prophecy does not have to be either faddish, other-worldly, or impractical if taught properly. Nor does it have to be a playground for fanatics. It can and should be green pastures for disciples. Reasons for Study There are many reasons why all believers should be interested in studying Bible prophecy. Some of the more important ones are listed below: 1) The Quantity — One-fourth to one-third of the Bible is prophetic in nature. In the Old Testament, this includes the Psalms, the Major and Minor Prophets, and many passages in the historical books. In the New Testament, entire books like 1 & 2 Thessalonians and Revelation are devoted to prophecy, as are major passages like Matthew 24 and 1 Peter 3. To ignore Bible prophecy is to ignore a significant portion of God’s Word, and we are told in 2 Timothy 3:16 that “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness” — and that certainly includes Bible prophecy. 2) The Uniqueness — No other book in the world contains fulfilled prophecies. This includes the sayings of Buddha and Confucius, the Koran, the Hindu Vedras, and the Book of Mormon. And it certainly includes the ridiculous nonsensical quatrains of Nostradamas. In contrast, the Bible contains hundreds of specific prophecies that have already been fulfilled — prophecies about towns, cities, nations, empires, and political leaders, as well as prophecies about the Messiah. Consider, for example, the prophecy in the book of Isaiah that a man named Cyrus would be the one who would release the children of Israel from Babylonian captivity (Isaiah 44:28). And that is exactly what happened 142 years later (Ezra 1:1-3). 3) Validator of Scripture — Fulfilled prophecy is one of the best evidences I know of that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. As I stated above, the Bible contains hundreds of fulfilled secular prophecies pertaining to cities, nations, empires, and individuals. Isaiah prophesied that Babylon would fall to the Medes and Persians (Isaiah 13:17-20). Jeremiah predicted the Babylonian captivity of the Jews would last 70 years (Jeremiah 25:11-12). Daniel outlined in advance the precise order of four great Gentile empires (Daniel 2 and 7). The destruction of both Judah and Israel was foretold by Moses (Deuteronomy 28 and 29). In the New Testament, Jesus predicted the complete destruction of Jerusalem 40 years before it actually occurred (Luke 21:6). 4) Validator of Jesus — The prophetic scriptures validate Jesus as who He said He was — namely, God in the flesh. The Bible contains more than 300 prophecies about the First Coming of Jesus, but some of these are repetitive. There are actually 109 separate and distinct prophecies concerning the First Coming, and all of them were literally fulfilled. Every aspect of the life of Jesus was prophesied — the place of His birth, the nature of His birth, the quality of His ministry, the purpose of His life, and the agony of His death. Consider, for example, the prophecy in Psalm 22:16 that the Messiah’s hands and feet would be pierced. That prophecy was written by David about a thousand years before the birth of Jesus. It was written at a time when the only form of capital punishment among the Jewish people consisted of stoning. The literal fulfillment of so many prophecies in the life of one individual transcends any mere coincidence and serves to validate that Jesus was who He said He was — the divine Son of God. 5) Revealer of the Future — Prophecy serves to tell us some things that God wants us to know about the future (Deuteronomy 29:29 and Amos 3:7). God does not want us to know everything about the future, but there are some things we must know if we are to have a dynamic hope. Thus, prophecy assures us that Jesus is coming back, that He will resurrect us, and that He will take us to live forever with Him and God the Father. In this regard, Peter likens prophecy to “a lamp shining in a dark place” (2 Peter 1:19). Paul makes the same point in 1 Corinthians, chapter 2. He begins by observing that “no eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor has the mind of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him.” But in the next verse Paul says those things have been revealed to us by God through His Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:9-10). 6) Tool of Evangelism — Prophecy can be used as a very effective tool of evangelism, as illustrated in the story of Philip and the Eunuch (Acts 8:26ff). Philip used Isaiah’s great suffering lamb passage (Isaiah 53) to teach that Jesus is the Lamb who was slain for the sins of the world. Matthew and Peter both used fulfilled prophecy in the life of Jesus as one of their basic evangelistic tools. In fact, Peter referred to prophecy constantly in his first gospel sermon on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:14-39). He preached that Jesus had been crucified and resurrected in fulfillment of Hebrew prophecies. Later, Peter referred to fulfilled prophecy as one of the greatest evidences that Jesus was truly the Son of God (2 Peter 1:16-19). 7) Tool of Moral Teaching — People often overlook the fact that the Hebrew prophets were forthtellers as well as foretellers. In fact, the prophets spent most of their time using God’s Word to spotlight societal problems. They called their listeners to repentance, true worship, justice, and personal holiness. One of the great recurring themes of the prophets is that “obedience is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22 and Hosea 6:6). That statement means that in God’s eyes, obedience to His commands is more important than outward religious practices such as offering sacrifices. Prophecy is thus a great repository of moral teaching, and those moral principles are still relevant today. (See Amos 5:21-24; Micah 6:8; and Isaiah 58:3-9.) 8) Generator of Spiritual Growth — Prophetic knowledge encourages patient waiting (James 5:7-8); provokes earnest watching (Matthew 24:36,42); inspires dedicated work (2 Timothy 4:7-8); and enhances our hope (Titus 2:11-14). The result is holy living. Paul exhorts us to “behave properly as in the day,” because the time is at hand when the Lord will return (Romans 13:12-13). Likewise, Peter calls us to gird up our minds and be sober and holy as we look forward to the revelation of Jesus (1 Peter 1:13-15). 9) Understanding of Current Events — The Bible contains detailed prophecies about the end times we are living in, and there is just no way to fully understand much of what is happening today apart from those prophecies. Three characteristics of our day and time immediately come to mind: the intensifying decay of society, the growing apostasy in the Church, and the escalating crisis in the Middle East. All three of these situations are prophesied in detail in the Bible. We are told that society will become as violent and immoral as it was in the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37-39); that the Church will be assaulted with “doctrines of demons” (1 Timothy 4:1); and that all the nations of the world will come against Israel over the issue of who will control Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:23). 10) Signifier of the Season — One of the most exciting reasons for studying Bible prophecy is that it provides very definite signs that we are to watch for which will signify the season of the Lord’s return. It is true that we cannot know the date, but the Bible makes it clear that we can know the season if we are aware of the signs that we are to look for. The Apostle Paul made this point in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 when he wrote: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 KJV – “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.” According to this passage, Jesus is coming like “a thief in the night” for the world, but those of us who are “sons of light” — that is, those of us who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit — should not be surprised when the Lord returns, because God’s Word gives us signs to watch for. Paul made the same point again in Hebrews 10:25 where he admonished believers to not forsake the assembling of the saints, especially “as you see the day drawing near.” What day? He defines it in verse 27 as the day of judgment. So, Paul is making the point here that there are signs we can watch for that will clearly identify the fact that we are living in the season of the Lord’s return. Jesus made the same point in His Olivet Discourse as recorded in Matthew 24. After specifying many end time signs, He said, “when you see all these things, recognize that He [Jesus] is near, right at the door” (Matthew 24:33). Spiritual Food God’s Prophetic Word is food for our spiritual growth. We need to take it off the shelf, open it up, and feast upon it — and we need to do so with believing hearts. The book of Revelation promises blessings to those who read it (or hear it read) and who obey it (Revelation 1:3). It is the only book of the Bible to promise such a specific blessing, but all God’s Word is designed to bless us spiritually (Psalm 119), and that includes the Prophetic Word. Bible prophecy, properly taught, can literally transform a person and a congregation. This will happen if the person or congregation can be convinced of two things regarding prophecy: 1) Jesus is returning, and 2) His return could occur any moment. Regarding the first point, most Christians believe with their minds that Jesus is returning, but they do not believe with their hearts, and therefore their belief has no impact on their behavior. Regarding the second point, most Christians are unaware that the return of Jesus will be in two stages — first, the Rapture, and then the Second Coming. Because they know little or nothing about the Rapture, they have no understanding that the Lord could truly return at any moment. They believe that many prophecies — like the preaching of the Gospel to the whole world — must be fulfilled before the Lord can return, when the truth of the matter is that there is not one prophecy that must be fulfilled for the Rapture to occur. Again, if a person or congregation can truly be convinced that Jesus is returning any moment, they will be transformed because they will be motivated to share the Gospel with others and to commit their lives to holiness. A commitment to evangelism and holiness! What more could a pastor hope for? Bible prophecy does not just relate to the future. It has an important spiritual relevance to the way we live our lives in the present. Daily Jot: Turkey’s prophetic soccer move - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com The October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorist attack against unarmed Israeli citizens has exposed the true hearts of nations mentioned in end time prophecies that come against Israel. Turkey, a member of NATO, has come out of the diplomatic tents in favor of the anti-Israel terrorists. On October 25, Reuters reported that Turkey’s leader Tayyip Erdogan told members of the Turkish parliament that “Hamas is not a terrorist organization.” He said it was a liberation group of those fighting for their faith “waging battle to protect its lands and people.” He also said, “Israel’s attacks on Gaza, for both itself and those supporting them, amount to murder and mental illness.” This political stand has carried over to athletics. Enter the story of 28 year-old Sagiv Shalom Yehezkel, a professional Israeli soccer player who played on the Israel national team and, until recently, was a member of a Turkish professional club. On Sunday, January 14, Yehezkel scored a goal. Celebrating the goal, he pointed toward a bandage on his wrist that read “100 days. 07/10” next to a Star of David. This simple gesture calling attention to the hostages held by the Hamas terrorists lit a firestorm in Turkey. Yehezkel was arrested. A criminal investigation was launched by Turkish prosecutors claiming Yehezkel’s “incitement to hate.” He was released after a short detention and Israel had to send a private plane to collect him and his family. According to several media outlets, Yehezkel told the Turkish police, “I am not pro-war. I want this 100-day process to come to an end. I want the war to end. I have never engaged in anything related to politics since my arrival…I have never disrespected anyone since the day I arrived. The point I wanted to draw attention to was [the need] for an end of the war.” Turkish officials saw it otherwise as his club fired him for “exhibiting behavior that goes against our country’s sensitivities.” Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant characterized the arrest as scandalous and accused Turkey of being the “executive arm of Hamas.” Indeed, Turkey’s actions are an indicator of the direction ancient Biblical prophets foretold about that country. We have been watching Turkey and its “president” Erdogan for quite some time as a prophetic indicator. The Islamic Caliphate/Ottoman Empire, headquartered in Turkey, was one of the longest lasting empires in history spanning 624 years from 1299 to 1923. Its control over the Middle East was far greater than the Roman Empire. Some scholars now believe that a revived Ottoman Empire is the one prophesied as the end-time antichrist system. The end time battle of Ezekiel 38 is led from specific locations in modern Turkey–Magog, Meshech, Tubal. Also Christ is quoted in Revelation 2:13 that Pergamos is “even where Satan’s seat is…where Satan dwells.” Pergamon is in Turkey. Once again, Turkey is in the news ignited by an athlete using his platform in support of the victims of terrorism. This is the rising tide where any Israeli standing against hatred becomes a target of hatred. To the point that now even soccer plays a prophetic role. Samson had been killing them for fun and sport, and they had to bring him down. So, they bribed Delilah, a woman he was in love with, to find out the secret of his strength. No doubt Delilah was an attractive woman, because for temptation to work, it must be alluring. Samson once again got involved with the wrong person. First there was the Philistine woman. Then there was the prostitute. And then there was Delilah, who approached him with her enticements and temptations, promising so much. That’s what sin is like. It promises life, but it brings death. It promises fulfillment, but it brings a greater emptiness. Satan had found Samson’s weakness, and he was ready to exploit it. It’s important for us to understand that sin doesn’t take anyone against their will. We might hear someone say, “I didn’t want to do this, but I couldn’t resist. The devil overcame me. He overpowered me and made me do it.” There is no question that the devil will tempt us. He will bring appealing temptations our way. However, there must be an interest on our part for those temptations to work. As James tells us, “Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death” (James 1:14–15 NLT). Satan will use different kinds of bait for different kinds of fish, so to speak. Here’s what we need to remember: It isn’t the bait that constitutes sin; it’s the bite. In other words, it is not a sin when we face temptation. It is only a sin when we give in to that temptation. This is clearly what happened to Samson. And amazingly, Delilah didn’t try to hide what she was doing. She said, “Please tell me what makes you so strong and what it would take to tie you up securely” (Judges 16:6 NLT). That should have been the first sign that this wasn’t a healthy relationship. But Samson didn’t realize what was going on. That is the problem with sin. It’s intoxicating, and it brings us under its power. Therefore, we don’t think rationally. Samson thought he could handle Delilah. He probably thought, “What is she going to do to me? I’m Samson.” He may have even believed that it was a game. Yet the Bible warns, “Can a man scoop a flame into his lap and not have his clothes catch on fire?” (Proverbs 6:27 NLT). This should have been a wake-up call for Samson. It should have shown him that he was on the wrong track. Meanwhile, Delilah was getting closer and closer to the secret of his strength. Every Christian will be tempted. And if you’re being tempted, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. In fact, it could indicate that you’re on the right track spiritually and that Satan is trying to take you down. The problem isn’t being tempted. The problem is giving in to it.
