On Mar. 12, 2024, Arkansas stopped putting gender “X” on driver’s licenses, and the ban will become law if it is approved by the legislature. Arkansas’ governor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, defended the ban, saying she will not endorse nonsense. Huckabee said, “This policy is just common sense. Only women give birth, men shouldn’t play women’s sports, and there are only two genders.” I personally do not think Sanders is anti-gay. Sanders is a Christian. Christians believe they should love everyone. They believe they should try to rightly understand what the Bible says and accept it as God’s will for their life. They believe everyone sins, Christians should first try to give up their own sins, and they should urge everyone else to give up their sins. Some believe the Bible teaches that God is especially grieved by the gender (and gay) issue because He has pronounced warnings of judgment on those involved in that sin, and they think telling people what God said is an act of love, not hate. The gender (and gay) issue is a big issue today because it is part of the globalist agenda. The U.S. is no longer a Christian nation, and many world leaders (and some in the Church) are pushing it (calling good evil and evil good, days of Lot, etc.). Here are some recent reports that appear to relate to Bible prophecy. One, concerning tracking all buying and selling: on Mar. 12, 2024 it was reported that the pres. of the World Bank is urging governments all over the world to embrace a global digital ID. A digital ID is a prerequisite to tracking what people buy and sell. (More: On Mar. 14, 2024, it was reported that the U.S. is lagging far behind China, India, Japan, the EU, Brazil, Russia, and more than 100 other countries in its development of a digital currency.) Two, concerning world government and the coming Tribulation Period: on Mar. 14, 2024, Catholic Archbishop Vigano said,

Biden renewed a sanctions waiver that released more than $10 billion in frozen assets to Iran. Iranian proxies are attacking U.S. forces in Iraq, the Red Sea, etc.; they are attacking Israel near Lebanon, in Jerusalem, in the West Bank, in Gaza, and Biden has granted them access to billions of dollars. (More: On Mar. 11, 2024, Israel’s Defense Min. said Iran is smuggling weapons and other military resources to terrorists in the West Bank, Judea and Samaria.) What we do know is that God will drag Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others to Israel’s border and destroy them in the latter years and latter days. So, this COULD be a sign that the Rapture is close.) Netanyahu’s government: on Mar. 12, 2024, an Israeli official said, “We expect our friends to act to overthrow the terror regime of Hamas and not the elected government in Israel.” In many ways, the U.S. is not acting like a friend of Israel. Five, concerning deceit and the mistreatment of hostages: on Mar. 14, 2024, an Israeli hostage that was released by Hamas after 54 days of captivity said, “They (Hamas) told us that they (our people) don’t want us in Israel, that the families don’t want us and that we won’t be back even in another year.” Six, concerning corruption in the courts, Congressman Jim Jordan has warned District Attorney Fani Willis that she must give subpoenaed documents related to her efforts to indict former Pres. Trump and her possible collusion with the Biden administration to the House Judiciary Committee by noon on Mar. 28, 2024, or she could face contempt of Congress proceedings. (More: The judge in Florida that is overseeing the accusations against Trump for mishandling classified documents asked the prosecution why they are prosecuting Trump for this when no other President has ever been prosecuted for it. Trump is alleging a double standard in the courts, especially now that charges against Pres. Biden have been dismissed by the Special Prosecutor.) (More: On Mar. 15, 2024, the judge in Georgia ruled that Fani Willis can remain on the bench in the case against Pres. Trump for mishandling classified documents, but only if the lead prosecutor steps down because of a significant appearance of impropriety between the judge and the lead prosecutor. Seven, concerning the ashes of a Red Heifer: this week, I saw a second report that the Jews must select and sacrifice one of the four unblemished red heifers before they are too old. I personally do not know if this is true, but if it is, time could be running out. Eight, concerning some of the prophesied wars (Isa. 17; Ezek. 38-39; perhaps Psa. 83, etc.): on Mar. 16, 2024, the head of Israel’s military, Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, said, “We are in a multi-front war – Lebanon, Syria, Judea and Samaria [West Bank] and Gaza and threats even further away.” It truly looks like these prophesied wars are shaping up. Nine, concerning the use of the climate change hoax to establish world government: on Mar. 18, 2024, the CEO of the world’s largest oil producer (Aramco in Saudi Arabia) said, The energy transition envisioned by the ‘global warming’ crowd is failing. Policymakers should abandon the ‘fantasy’ of phasing out oil and gas because demand for fossil fuels is expected to continue to grow in the coming years. (My opinion: He is probably right, but the globalists are not going to abandon their goal of establishing a world government by 2030 or sooner if possible.) Ten, concerning signs in the sun, moon, and stars before the Second Coming, several people have asked me if the coming Apr. 8, 2024, total solar eclipse is a warning from God that His judgment will soon fall on the U.S. Understand that there are several unusual things associated with the eclipse, but I am reluctant to say yes or no. As I understand the Bible:
The bottom line is that we always need to repent of our sins and have our hearts right with God through Jesus. (Reminder: Readers know that I have been saying for a long time that the judgment of God may already be falling on America.) Eleven, concerning the decline of America: on Mar. 18, 2024, it was reported that former Auburn football coach and now U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (a Republican) went to Utah to campaign for Trent Staggs to replace retiring Senator Mitt Romney, and Tuberville said: There’s not one Democrat that can tell you they stand up for God. They’ve basically taken God out of everything that we’re doing. We have to get back to our moral values. (My opinion: I believe America will fall if it doesn’t come back to God, but the mess America is in can be blamed on both parties, and without God, we have no hope. America is on the brink of losing its sovereignty, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and more – at the World Health Organization meeting in late May – and only a few Republicans or Democrats are speaking out.) We can certainly see indications of the nearing end of the church age in all that Israel is experiencing. We can also note that the Ezekiel war must be coming in the not too distant future in light of developments related to that battle. Add to those, the move toward globalism, evil and good exchanging definitions, and on and on the evidence of the lateness of the hour goes. There are also signs within the church that things are wrapping up, and, sadly, they are negative. The Bible does not say there will be a huge revival or global Great Awakening prior to the rapture. As a matter of fact, it says the opposite will be taking place. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 KJV – “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Peter 3:3-4 KJV – “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” When sound doctrine is not endured, there are consequences that will be experienced by those who will listen to teachers that scratch their itching ears with things that aren’t true. This will contribute to the scoffing that Peter says will be present in the last days. The Greek word translated as “scoffers” can also mean “mockers”, and it is the same word that would be used to describe false teachers. To scoff or mock the teaching of the rapture of the church is to not endure sound doctrine. The rampant practice of mocking the rapture of the church should remind us that time is running out and the church age is rapidly coming to a close. When you talk about Christ and you deny His resurrection, your whole faith is basically gone. But when you talk about Christ and you don’t deny His resurrection but you deny His coming back to take us, then what’s the point of His resurrection? You’re doubting the literal promise of His physical return to this Earth; not just to touch Earth with His feet, but to meet us in the clouds and take us to be with Him. John 14:2-3 KJV – “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” What makes this statement valid is that three days after His death, Jesus rose from the dead. Forty days after He rose from the dead, He ascended into heaven where He had come from and He did so in front of eyewitnesses. After He ascended into the clouds and disappeared from the eyewitnesses’ view, two angels said to the men: Acts 1:11 KJV – “Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” Jesus said in John 14 that He would receive us, and Revelation 19 makes it clear that when Jesus comes “in like manner” we will be with Him. That means we have to already be there in order to come with Him at His return. There is only one way that can happen, and that is the rapture. [The presence of] scoffers tells us the hour is late and mockers will not endure sound doctrine, which includes the rapture of the church. This should create a sense of urgency in us for the lost and perishing around us, and raise our expectancy for that “moment and twinkling of an eye” experience we are all longing for. Sadly, many are not expecting what we are told is coming. Matthew 24:44 KJV – “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” These people are acting the same as the individuals in the days of Noah. Everybody knows that in the days of Noah, there were very few people who prepared themselves for something great. What is it that the rest of them did? The Bible says in Matthew 24: Matthew 24:37-39 KJV – “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” They didn’t want to hear what Noah had to say. They didn’t want to listen to the warnings that God, through Noah, was speaking to the people. So, just like those scoffers, they say, “Everything will stay the same.” Why are they doing that, do you think? To put people to sleep and steal their hope. You see, the hope of the coming of Jesus is the most important thing that a believer can hold onto today and is the number one thing Satan wants to steal from you. And he’s going to use scoffers – sometimes from within, most times from outside – to tell you, “Where is the promise of his coming?” Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus. This is not meant as an insult. This is observably true. What else can possibly explain the lack of comprehension among so many? A simple way to address the widespread disinformation and subsequent rants of those who hate Israel would be to ask a series of questions and wait for an accurate and meaningful response. Lacking A Historical Perspective For example, I would ask someone who has expressed the kind of thinking that denigrates Israel as the sole cause of the many issues facing the region this simple question: “When did the Palestinian people organize their land and establish its local governing authorities?” Israel is always spoken of as occupying the land of the Palestinians, so when did the Palestinians organize their land and set up a government to govern it and them? The answer, of course, is never. There is no such thing as the land of the Palestinians or Palestine. Any honest historian will state that the Palestinian “problem” was created by Arab and Muslim nations who refused to admit those Arabs and Muslims who fled Israel in 1947-48 did so at their insistence. When Arabs and Muslims left Israel, the people, including the leadership of the new nation, asked them to stay. Today, the same problem exists because Arab and Muslim nations will not allow the Palestinians to immigrate to their countries. Those nations see the Palestinians as both a bargaining chip against Israel and a likely domestic problem for peace if allowed to immigrate. The reality is that the Arab and Muslim nations will never permit the Palestinians to enter their nation because along with them come the dangerous tentacles of Hamas and Hezbollah. There is much to be gained by the Israel haters by continuing the erroneous global optics of Israel as the villain in the story of the Palestinians. The so-called ethnic cleansing decried on college campuses across America is also logically a non-starter. How is Israel committing genocide against the Palestinian people when the population of the Palestinians continues to grow? If there is a genocide ongoing, it is being perpetrated by the terror groups that rule Gaza and Lebanon with an iron fist. The Palestinian people are nothing more than expendable chattel in the hands of Hamas, Hezbollah, and their masters, the Iranian mullahs. Perhaps the most potent question one could ask of someone blinded by their hatred toward Israel is this: “Can you name one Arab, Muslim, or Palestinian leader who has stated publicly and is affirming among his group of constituents that as a part of a separate Palestinian State, Israel has a right to her land in which to live in peace and security?” Today’s virtue-signaling, communist-loving, Israel-hating Palestinian sympathizers have no depth of understanding concerning global politics, and they certainly do not have any historical perspective. The Oslo Accords and the Camp David Summit in 2000 resulted in a basic framework for a Palestinian State. The continuing issue is that while the Arab and Muslim leaders smile for the cameras and receive the applause of the Western world for their determination to bring peace to the region, these same leaders speak a very different message to their constituents. That message is “We will never be at peace with the Jewish occupiers of OUR land; we will only drive them into the sea and out of existence. Then the land will be cleansed and returned to us.” Arab and Muslim doctrine dictates that if a territory was ever occupied by Muslims, it belongs to Allah into perpetuity. Thus, the leaders of the Palestinians lie to the West but tell the truth of their intentions to their people. Unless the Arab and Muslim leaders start telling the truth about their intentions, there will never be an acceptable two-state solution. Israel knows the truth. The West refuses to allow it to see the light of day. It seems incredible to consider but President Biden is doing all he can to force the issue on Israel by threatening to withhold armaments required to continue to purge the region of terror. How absurd is it to stop Israel from doing the entire world a favor by destroying Hamas? How absurd is it to have a US President protect terrorists by deterring Israel? The Biblical Narrative Concerning Israel Now, we must also consider of highest importance what the Bible has to say about Israel. Here, I remind people that Yahweh has spoken many promises over His people, Israel. Whether we consider the Abrahamic, Mosaic, or Davidic Covenant, there remain unfulfilled promises to this day. You have two choices to make concerning the Covenants. You can say that Yahweh will fulfill them to His people, Israel, or you can believe that Yahweh is finished with Israel and that the covenant promises now belong to the Christian church. If you choose to believe the latter, that Yahweh has abandoned His people, Israel, you are faced with believing what the Bible explicitly refutes. Consider in the least that Yahweh has promised to give to Israel an everlasting inheritance (Genesis 17:89; Zechariah 12:9-11; Luke 21:20, 24; Acts 1:6). The Apostle Paul informed the believers in Rome that: Romans 11:25-29 KJV – “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” All Israel will be saved. This has meaning within the context of the Tribulation, about which the angel Gabriel informed Daniel that a future time of Tribulation would come which would involve Daniel’s people, Daniel’s holy city, and the process by which Yahweh would save all Israel (See Daniel 9:24-27; and Zechariah 12). Finally, Yahweh’s promises concerning His people Israel are summed up well in Jeremiah 31:35-37: “Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith the Lord; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the Lord.” Unfortunately, even here, there are some who reject the clear and literal biblical narrative concerning Israel. We are living in a unique time indeed. Holy Week - By Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com/ww-3-24-2024/ I have called it, “The week that changed the world.” The events of holy week should be contemplated often by every follower of Christ. It began with Palm Sunday as Jesus publicly presented Himself as Messiah. The week concluded with His resurrection. But to rise from the dead, He first had to die. He died at the hands of Roman soldiers, at the behest of Jewish religious leaders, and He died for all of us. He died to save us from our sins. The night before the Lord’s crucifixion was like no other. Jesus shared the Passover meal with His disciples, a meal known in history as “the last supper.” After they ate, with Judas the betrayer still in the room, Jesus did something amazing. John 13:3-5 (NASB) says, “Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God, and was going back to God, rose from supper, and laid aside His garments; and taking a towel, He girded Himself about. Then He poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.” “The Father had given all things into His hands… He had come forth from God, and was going back to God.” Knowing His identity as the only begotten Son of God, He took on the garb of a servant, knelt before each of His disciples, and washed their feet. He told them to treat one another with this kind of humility, love, and care. After a brief exchange with the Lord, Judas Iscariot left to betray Jesus to religious authorities intent on Christ’s murder. Later that night, after a time of profound teaching, Jesus and His disciples went to Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives to pray or, in the case of the disciples, to nap. It was there, in the middle of the night, that the religious leaders arrested Him. They quickly put Him on trial — the first of six trials, all held on the night of His arrest. At 9:00 AM the next morning, they crucified the King of Glory. Roman soldiers unwittingly carried out the plan of God — His plan from before the foundation of the world. At 3:00 PM, He cried out “Tetelestai!” meaning, “paid in full.” The Lamb of God fully paid for the sins of the world. He bowed His head and said, “Father, into Your hands, I commit My spirit,” and He died by His own will. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus took the Lord’s body and prepared it for burial. John 19:40-42 says, “And so they took the body of Jesus, and bound it in linen wrappings with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews. Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had yet been laid…. They laid Jesus there.” Those words end the 19th chapter of John. Chapter 20 begins, “Now on the first day of the week….” Sunday had come! The Lord’s disciples in various groups went to the tomb and found it empty. Mary Magdalene encountered the risen Jesus. Soon thereafter, all the disciples saw and talked with Him. In the forty days that followed, over 500 people saw Him face to face, alive and well. This is history. This is what happened. The resurrection of Jesus is supported by fuller and more believable evidence than any other event of ancient antiquity. Jesus said it would happen and it did. He also said that after rising from the dead, He would leave the earth for a time. He did not say how long. During the teaching of the night before His crucifixion, in John 14:2-3, Jesus said, “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” Rest in that assurance and joyfully tell everyone the good news. He is risen! He is risen indeed! Daily Jot: The Calling - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com The contemporary church puts a good deal of emphasis on “your calling.” We often hear from the pulpit exhortations about “finding your calling” or “knowing your calling.” There are seminars about how to find your calling. There are so-called, and often self-proclaimed, modern day “prophets” who pick people out of the congregation and prophesy over them of their great calling before the masses. While these proclamations and exhortations may be well-intended, they also may be missing the point. There is a sweet simplicity in the Lord’s calling that has to do with your relationship with God. Finding your “calling” starts with understanding that you first are called by the LORD most high and moves from there. The book of Leviticus in Hebrew is translated Vayikra. It means “He Called.” Exodus leaves off with Moses unable to enter the Tabernacle “because the cloud (of God’s glory) remained on it, and the glory of God filled the tabernacle (Exodus 40:35).” Leviticus begins with God’s glory in the tabernacle and the LORD calling Moses to come forward. The language is one of being summoned, beckoned, a tender invitation of love and friendship. Rabbi Jonathan Sachs, in his book Covenant and Conversation, puts it, “In love, God calls the people of Israel to come close to Him, be regular visitors to His house, to share in His quality of holiness, difference, apartness: to become, as it were, mediators of His Presence in the world.” Leviticus is often referred to as the Book of Sacrifices because it describes the various offerings made before the LORD at the Tabernacle. Leviticus is the English translation from the Greek and Latin meaning- “Matters concerning the Levites.” In the Western mindset, we may look at Leviticus as transactional—that sacrifices had to be made to please God. Vayikra, the Hebrew title of the book, however, is descriptive of a more relational than transactional bond with God. From Genesis, beginning with our divine origin and the tragic fall, to the Exodus and the liberation from bondage by the Blood of the Passover Lamb; and the Torah given at Sinai and the building of the Tabernacle where the blood sacrifice was established; to Vayikra/Leviticus, it is revealed that the people are called to draw near to God through sacrificial rites. The ultimate offering of God’s calling was accomplished by the High Priest of the New Covenant, Christ Jesus. Hebrews 8:6-7 explains, “he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.” 1 John 2:1 confirms, “And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” In Christ, we are saved and called according to his purpose and grace. 2 Peter 1:5-7 outlines the attributes of those who are called: virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness and love. Verse 10 exhorts us to “give diligence to make your calling and election sure.” You see, our calling is the fruit of accepting God’s calling to us. Our calling is found in our relationship with Him. So much so that Luke’s Gospel says He “was in such agony of spirit that his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood” (22:44 NLT). In addition, Mark’s Gospel gives us a very important detail that we could easily miss: Jesus cried out, “Abba, Father” (14:36 NLT). We might not catch the significance of this. But today, it isn’t unusual to hear Israeli children calling out to their fathers, “Abba!” It’s the equivalent of our English word “Daddy.” There is a difference between the terms “Father” and “Daddy.” Both describe the same person, but they indicate a difference in relationship. That is not to suggest that Jesus was manipulating God the Father. Rather, it indicated intimacy. Jesus was saying, in effect, “I trust You, Father. I know You are in control.” Then Jesus went on to say, “Everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine” (verse 36 NLT). That is a hard thing for many of us to say. We might say the words, “Not my will, but Yours, be done.” But do we really mean it? What if His will is different from ours? And how can we know the will of God? We discover God’s will through careful study of the Scriptures. And frankly, there will be times when we read things in the Bible and think, “Wow, that is hard. I don’t know if I want to forgive this person who has wronged me, but Lord, You have told me in Scripture to do so.” Or, “I don’t know that I want to break that relationship off with this nonbeliever that I was thinking of marrying. But Lord, You have told me in Your Word to do so. Not my will, but Yours, be done.” It is okay to think about the future and make plans for our lives. In fact, we should. But we also need to say, “Lord, here are my plans. But if You have a different plan in mind, I am willing for You to overrule what I have decided, because I’ve come to discover that Your plan is better than my own. So not my will, but Yours, be done.” This is very important to say to God, especially if you’re young. Dwight L. Moody said, “Spread out your petition before God, and then say, ‘not my will but yours be done.’ ” He concludes, “The sweetest lesson I have learned in God’s school is to let the Lord choose for me.” We are going to have our Gethsemanes in life. We will face times of ultimate stress, moments of pressure that seem to be too much. What will we do then? Will we say, like Jesus, “Abba, Father”? Will we say, “Your will be done”? Would you let the Lord choose for you? Would you be willing to take your future and place it in God’s hands?
