I am sure that I could add more to the above, but there can be little doubt that Satan’s earthly kingdom is shaping up (and, for many reasons, I believe the Church will be Raptured before it comes into being). Here are some recent articles that seem to indicate that the end of the age is close. One, concerning Satan’s effort to destroy Israel: on Mar. 28, 2024, it was reported that Israel can expect the following if it gets into a war with Hezbollah:

Israel said it will turn “from defending to pursuing Hezbollah, we will reach wherever the organization operates, in Beirut, Damascus, and in more distant places.”) Two, concerning the destruction of Damascus in one night: on Mar. 28, 2024, Israeli jets struck the Syrian airport at Aleppo near Damascus. 36 Syrian soldiers and 5 Hamas terrorists were killed. (FYI: Russia condemned the attacks and called them categorically unacceptable.) Three, concerning Damascus, Syria, ceasing to exist as a city in one night (Isa. 17): on Apr. 1, 2024, a group of Iran’s top intelligence officials and Muslim terrorists gathered for a secret meeting at the so-called consulate building that was connected to the Iranian embassy in Damascus. Israel learned of the meeting and that its purpose was to discuss the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. Israeli jets struck the building, and 7 people were killed, including the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a second commander, and 5 other high-ranking officials (2 Syrian police officers and others were injured).
Some officials believe an all-out war could be on the horizon because Iran is on the verge of getting nuclear weapons, and Israel has vowed to not let that happen. (More: On Apr. 1, 2024, the U.S. spotted and destroyed an Iranian attack drone near a U.S. military base in Syria.) (More: On Apr. 2, 2024, it was reported that Iran is laying the groundwork to attack Israeli embassies worldwide.) (More: Iran told the UN the U.S. is responsible for all the crimes committed by Israel. The U.S. warned Iran and its proxies not to attack U.S. bases in the Middle East in retaliation for Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.) Four, in late Mar. 2024, Israel launched a surprise attack on the UN-run Al-Shifa hospital compound where Israel killed about 180 terrorists and captured about 500.
(My opinion: This clearly shows the hypocrisy of world leaders that blame Israel for killing too many civilians. They are trying to force Israel to fight with one hand behind their back. They should have acted when Hamas took over Gaza. Most of them are ignoring the Bible and serving Satan.) (More: On Mar. 28, 2024, Israel said the UN Al-Shifa hospital complex is being severely damaged because Hamas holed up there and started attacking Israeli soldiers from the complex.) Five, concerning deceit and false accusations against Israel: on Mar. 28, 2024, Israel released a video of its interrogation of one of the Oct. 7, 2023 terrorists. The terrorist said the Devil took hold of him, and he admitted that he raped an Israeli woman in her home during the attack. (My opinion: Women are second-class citizens in Muslim countries, and the silence of feminists and U.S. leaders that profess to care about women is shameful.) Six, concerning the fact that all Israel will ultimately get saved (at the end of the Tribulation Period): on Mar. 22, 2024, thousands of Jews went to the Western Wall to read Scriptures and to pray for the hostages. (My opinion: Many in the world are ignoring the fact that Hamas is still hiding behind hostages, but the religious fervor in Israel is growing, and Jehovah is not ignoring it. This will ultimately lead to the salvation of all Israel at the end of Satan’s earthly kingdom. Hezbollah, Hamas, Russia, Iran, Turkey, Syria, and others are headed for a major confrontation with God, and it will not be pretty.) (More: There have been reports that the EU may cut off weapons sales to Israel to stop an Israeli attack on Hamas in Rafah. They are serving Satan by trying to protect Hamas and let them survive for another attack on Israel.) Seven, concerning the sacrifice of a red heifer: on Mar. 27, 2024, about 120 people gathered for a conference in Shiloah to discuss the issues related to the sacrifice of a red heifer. While there, the organizers named the five red heifers that were moved from Texas to Israel in 2022. In Hebrew, their names are Tikva, Geula, Techiya, Nechama, and Segula. In English, their names are hope, redemption, life-giving, comfort, and virtue. Many Christians who study Bible prophecy want to know if a red heifer will be sacrificed soon. It has been reported that the Temple Institute wants to sacrifice one this year (between Passover and Pentecost) because the red heifers will soon be too old. But sacrificing a red heifer could cause Israel’s war with Hamas to spread, and as far as I know, there has been no announcement about whether a red heifer will be sacrificed or not. (FYI: Many prophecy teachers, me included, believe the Temple will be rebuilt early in the Tribulation Period, and the Jews will receive permission to rebuild it in the Covenant that is confirmed by the Antichrist. It would be necessary to sacrifice a red heifer before then, but one could be sacrificed and the ashes held until needed.) Eight, concerning the coming one-world cashless society and a requirement for tracking all buying and selling during Satan’s earthly kingdom: on Mar. 28, 2024, it was reported that SWIFT (a global group that manages trillions of dollars of banking transactions between nations every day) has developed a Central Bank Digital Currency System (CBDC) that should be operational in 12-24 months. Nine, concerning deceit and the climate change fraud: on Mar. 19, 2024, it was reported that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos will invest $1 billion to replace meat and dairy products with foods grown in labs and made from insects. Ten, concerning a departing from the faith and the decline of America at the end of the age, on Mar. 27, 2024, the Fairfax County, Virginia, school board (all Democrats) voted 9-0 to call Easter Sunday “Transgender Visibility Day.” (My opinion: This is the spirit of antichrist.) (More: Pres. Biden is catching flack for designating Mar. 31, 2024 as “Transgender Day of Visibility.” A proclamation was issued under his name, but he said he didn’t issue it. If Biden didn’t issue the proclamation, who did?) (More: There is a growing movement in the Roman Catholic Church to excommunicate Pres. Biden. On Mar. 31, 2024, Roman Catholic Archbishop Vigano issued the following statement: “I ask my brethren in the episcopate and priests to recognize that Joe Biden has incurred latæ sententiæ excommunication, and as such must be expelled from the churches and not admitted to Communion.”) Eleven, concerning deceit and a population reduction: on Mar. 31, 2024, it was reported that statistics, quietly published by the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), reveal over one million excess deaths have been recorded among people aged 65 and over since the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave Emergency Use Authorization for the COVID-19 vaccine. Twelve, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters at the end of the age: on Apr. 3, 2024, a 7.4 earthquake off the coast of Taiwan killed 9 people, about 1,000 injured, 50 missing, 70 workers trapped in a quarry, many buildings damaged, several landslides, and damaged roads, bridges, and tunnels on the island. (More: As I write this on Apr. 3, 2024, a late-season storm is threatening to dump 18 inches of snow on parts of New Hampshire and Maine. Wind gusts of 40-60 mph are expected, and they could get as high as 80 mph.) Thirteen, concerning the days of Noah, when God saw that the wickedness of man was great: on Apr. 1, 2024, it was reported that gang violence in Haiti has reached “apocalyptic levels.” The violence is so bad that some are calling Haiti “an open-air prison.” Here is my daily update on the Israel-Hamas war. [email protected] The Spirit Of Antichrist In America— Eliminating God From Our Calendar – By Mark Hitchcock - https://harbingersdaily.com/the-spirit-of-antichrist-in-america-eliminating-god-from-our-calendar/ On March 29th, President Biden signed a White House proclamation observing March 31st as “Transgender Visibility Day.” This year, that day coincided with Easter Sunday, the holiest day on the Christian calendar—and the most important day in human history. This has been a major topic in the news, and I’m sure you’ve all heard about it. It was especially disturbing to Christians as we were celebrating the resurrection of our Savior. Now, we always want to be fair, even to people with whom we disagree. To be fair to President Biden, “Transgender Visibility Day” has actually been on the calendar for March 31st since 2009. Therefore, he was recognizing something that was already in place. Having said that, he did go out of his way to highlight and draw undue attention to it—going as far as to sign this proclamation. Putting these two celebrations on equal footing is an outrage and blasphemy. This represents a larger agenda of the government’s years-long erosion and assault on morality and the Christian faith. In some cases, laws today are even being weaponized against Christians. When I heard about this “proclamation,” my mind immediately went to Daniel 7:25, a verse about the coming anti-Christ. Let me provide a little bit of context. In chapter seven, Daniel sees a vision of four great beasts coming up out of the sea, which parallels the “great image” made up of four different metals seen by Nebuchadnezzar in chapter two. In Daniel Two, you have a head of gold, chest and arms of silver, belly and thighs of brass, legs of iron, and feet of iron and clay. Daniel chapter seven, the same thing is pictured by these wild beasts. The first beast is a lion, representing Babylon. The second beast is a bear, representing middle Persia. The third beast is a leopard, representing the Greek Empire. The fourth beast represents what we might call Imperial Rome—the historical Roman Empire—however, it is depicted as having ten horns which describe a form of the Roman Empire that has not yet existed. The Roman Empire, sometime in the future, is going to be represented by ten rulers or ten kings. What we see in the European Union today could be an embryonic form of that. Among those ten horns comes an eleventh horn described as a “little horn.” This little horn is the first clear mention of the coming Antichrist in Scripture. He rises from obscurity and anonymity, then begins to calm, and ultimately, takes control of the world. Daniel 7:25 in the NIV, speaking into this little horn, says, “He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.” The “set times” refer to religious holidays. The “laws” refer to laws that support God’s will and His character. The NLT says, “He will try to change their sacred festivals and laws.” The NASB says, “he will intend to make alterations in times and in law.” I believe what this is saying is that the anti-Christ will revise the calendar to get rid of God. He will try to create a totally secular calendar. He will create a world without God. He will erase from planet earth every vestige of Christian thought. He will create what we like to call a new world order, a one-world system of economics, politics and religion that exclude God and His point of view, and His perspective on life. 2nd Thessalonians 2 refers to the coming Antichrist as “the man of lawlessness.” That is an apt description of what he will do. He will bring in lawlessness, set aside all these religious holidays, laws, and times that honor God, and either get rid of them or replace them. Now, there are interesting historical examples of this. Darius, in Daniel chapter six, said that no one could pray to any other god or worship any other God but himself for a period of 30 days. He changed the laws and the Times. Another interesting historical example of this is during the French Revolution in the late 1700s: One writer says [this] about [the] French Revolution: the seven day week was replaced with a work week of ten days with the result that Sunday as a day of rest and Christian worship was eliminated. The French Revolution was so monumental in what it tried to accomplish and get rid of God that it even changed the seven day work week, which comes right out of the Bible, to the ten day work week. This writer goes on and he says, “The French calendar was also changed to reflect the new anti-Christian spirit of the revolution. The convention voted on October 5, 1793 to abolish the Christian calendar and to introduce what they called a republican calendar. The founding of the Republic, September 23, 1792, was the beginning of a new era and a new year 1. Instead of the birth of Jesus Christ being the focal point of history the founding day of the new French Republic would define how time would be kept.” They did away with Annō Dominī, which means, as you know, the year of our Lord, and made 1792 their year 1, the first year of the republic, a republic without God. One of the things I love about our calendar is that Jesus is literally the hinge of history, and they tried to abolish that notion. How does that end? And soon a republic that was subject to chaos and anarchy and finally tyranny. This experiment without God didn’t end well. It won’t end well for the Antichrist, either. The Lord Jesus will come back and triumph over that blasphemer. What we see today in our culture, more and more, is the beginning of his overhaul of set times and laws. I am in no way saying or inferring that what we’re seeing is the fulfillment of Daniel 7:25. We aren’t in the tribulation period yet. I am also not implying that President Biden is the Antichrist—in fact, I’m certain he’s not. But what we are witnessing today is a faint foreshadowing of what’s coming. We are seeing a landslide of new anti-God days and times while, at the same time, the reduction and even elimination of religious holidays on our calendar. All of this points toward the coming of the Antichrist. We see this in our country, and we see it happening globally. It is the fulfillment of what the Bible tells us is the “spirit of the Antichrist” already at work in our world. And it is just another indication that the coming of Jesus Christ is drawing near. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility. I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.” It is no mere coincidence, in my opinion, that the day of this anti-God day of celebration and our Lord’s Resurrection Day coincided in this year of 2024. At the time when all signals of the coming Tribulation seem in view, the devil has convinced much of America’s populace that the individual has the right to be whatsoever gender he or she wishes. They are not confined, Satan at first whispered and now shouts, to the sex printed on their birth certificate. And this president is complicit, whether wittingly or unwittingly, in Satan’s continuing war against God and His Divine Order of Creation. This, the falling of the so-called Transgender Day of Visibility on the day Christians celebrate the day our Lord Resurrected to life from the grave, is a slap to God’s Holy Face. God’s Offering of His Son Jesus Christ on the cruel cross at Calvary for lost mankind being met with this vicious rebuff through Satan’s corruption will not be met with Heaven’s gentleness. There will be a price of enormous Divine Retribution. That Retribution is building and will eventuate in the worst time of all human existence, according to the Lord Jesus (Matthew 24:21). The Tribulation is on the very verge of being ignited, if the signals coming from every quarter and signs we can see across the Prophetic Horizon are indeed indicators of things to come. The White House has released a statement celebrating “Transgender Day of Visibility,” which President Joe Biden ‘proclaimed’ in 2021 as March 31 – and which has been celebrated by activists on this day since 2014 after this individual ‘founded and organized’ it… And where Easter is typically held the first Sunday after the full moon occurs on or after the spring equinox, while “Transgender Day of Visibility” is on the same date each year, many have taken offense to the day’s proximity to the Christian holiday… [Some comments from this opposition on X] “They hate us and our Christianity.” “Declaring Easter to be a ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’ -Translation: They hate you. They hate our children. I don’t believe all who have fallen for the Trans hysteria are deliberately trying to “mock” us. But the ultimate effect, thus the punishment that will be meted out at the Great White Throne, is one and the same. There will be great Divine Retribution for unrepented-of sin against God and His Order of Creation. And how much worse might that Retribution be for making such a holiday –which Satan has no doubt arranged in his wicked planning? God will wipe the evil smiles from Satan’s face and from all who are, in fact, using this and other mockeries against the Lord and all believers in the Lord Jesus. Finland and Sweden, two previously neutral countries, recently joined NATO. Sweden had been neutral since the early 1800s. It resisted taking sides in World Wars I and II, as well as the Cold War. But not anymore. Sweden finally joined NATO this year, while its neighbor Finland joined in 2023. What happened to Finland and Sweden’s traditional stance of neutrality? Putin happened. The communist leaders of Soviet Russia were not enough to get them into NATO, but Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine scared everyone in Europe. It awakened memories of Adolf Hitler, of global war, and of holocaust. Nations across the globe feel vulnerable and are looking for safety. They are arming as never before. China’s new high-tech weapons, its unprecedented military buildup, and its aggressions in the South China Sea and Taiwan have also scared the nations. Reuters reported a year and a half ago that between then and 2027, “Japan will undertake its biggest arms buildup since World War Two in a race to deter Beijing from war in East Asia.” Direct acts of violence resulting from the Israel-Hamas war have already touched nations everywhere. With Iran’s lock grip on the Shiite Muslim world, it has stirred up nation after nation into acts of war against Israel and anyone seen as Israel’s allies. The Middle East has been a powder keg for a long time, but now it is a powder keg in a lightning storm. These and a host of other things going on today make a perfect setup for events that the Bible says will take place during seven years of tribulation. I believe those years are very close. But they are not imminent. The global conflagrations described in Revelation will not take place until after the Rapture — that is until after God has evacuated His people from the planet. Some ask what is holding things up. Why doesn’t God just get on with it? 2 Peter 3:9 answers. “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” God’s “slowness” is a result of His mercy. But He will not delay forever. In the Old Testament, Israel came under God’s judgement many times. Over and over, they failed to live up to the bargain they made with God. They sinned. The rejected Him, His messengers, and His word. But the thing that often triggered His actual judgements was harm to children. For instance, when they engaged in child sacrifice to idols. Children are being abused on an institutional level today, and it’s happening all over the world. Millions are being slain in the womb. If they survive those early days, psychological tricks are played on them in their classrooms and in their entertainments — tricks designed to inoculate them against receiving the Gospel and tricks made to confuse them and make them miserable. Could these things trigger the time of judgement on the earth? Yes. In the meantime, every day is an act of God’s mercy and kindness, giving people time and space to come to Him, and allowing those of us who know Him to preach the Gospel to the whole world. Jesus said in John 9:4 (NASB), “We must work the works of Him who sent Me, as long as it is day; night is coming, when no man can work.” Daily Jot: The All-Consuming Fire - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com As Peter proclaimed in 1 Peter 2:9, “You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” Much of the first five books of the Bible is about separating the common from the uncommon and establishing a holy nation of priests. It was about knowing God and learning to do his will and keep his precepts unto salvation. In this current time that we live, we are to be that royal priesthood in Christ. That means keeping his commandments as he prescribes, not doing what we think is right in our own eyes. This is important now more than ever. I am reminded of the story about offering strange fire. There are three kinds of fire in the episode of Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu: 1) the fire of the LORD that consumes the sacrifice properly offered by Aaron (Leviticus 9:24), 2) the “unauthorized fire” offered by Aaron’s two sons (Leviticus 10:1), and 3) the “fire that came from the presence of the LORD and consumed them…(Leviticus 10:2).” Nadab and Abihu’s fire was “strange fire,” of their own making, not God’s fire. There are many commentaries on why this occurred, but the most simple direct explanation is found in the words of Leviticus 10:1 itself—“But Nadab and Abihu sons of Aaron, each took his censer, put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and offered unauthorized fire before the LORD, something he had not ordered them to do.” By not adhering to the LORD’s instructions and entering on their own terms, they disregarded God’s holiness. God was first identified as a “consuming fire” in Deuteronomy 4:24, when Moses warned the Israelites to worship God with reverence and awe, and Hebrews 12:29 reiterates that thought, “Therefore since we have received an unshakable Kingdom, let us have grace, through which we may offer service that will please God, with reverence and fear. For indeed, our God is a consuming fire!” God’s holiness is the reason for His all-consuming fire, and that is the part of His nature that judged Nadab and Abihu. The other side of that fire is God’s love, His passion for us is all consuming, as stated in Song of Solomon 8:6, “Set me like a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm; for Love is strong as death, jealousy as cruel as the grave; the coals thereof are coals of fire, which have a most vehement flame.” This is a picture of God’s fierce love. In His love, God provided for our true holiness by sending His son Jesus to die on the cross to atone for the sins of all who trust in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). We need not fear the consuming fire of God’s wrath if we are covered by the blood of the Lamb. As a chosen people and a royal priesthood, however, we are held to a higher standard of holiness, which implies a harsher judgement for sin. As in 1 Corinthians 10:11,12, “Now these things were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. Wherefore let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” This should be a warning to those who speak casually of God from the pulpit, or kitchen table! Let us be mindful of the lesson of strange fire and set ourselves apart, holy, and in reverence of the all-consuming fire of the LORD our God. For example, on one occasion, angels brought God’s judgment, killing 185,000 people. Billy Graham described angels as God’s secret agents. That’s a good description of them, because they generally operate undercover, doing the bidding and work of God. One reason we’re not personally aware of angels in our lives is because they’re doing their job properly. They remain invisible most of the time, except on occasions when God sends them on a special mission and they clothe themselves in human form. But when they appear in all their splendor, they are no doubt very beautiful to behold. The Bible’s description of angels is certainly awe-inspiring, especially in the visions of both the apostle John (in Revelation) and Ezekiel. If we were able to roll away the veil that separates the physical world from the spiritual one, if we could get a behind-the-scenes look into the invisible world of angels and demons, it would overwhelm us. On one hand it would be frightening to see the demonic powers that are clearly at work. But on the other hand, it would be exciting to see the angels that are working in the lives of believers. This very thing happened to the servant of Elisha, who was terrified by the armies that were closing in on him and the prophet. But Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” (2 Kings 6:17 NLT). And in a moment, this young man had the privilege of peeking behind the supernatural veil and getting a rare glimpse into the invisible world. The Bible says that when the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, “he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire” (2 Kings 6:17 NLT). What he saw was the equivalent of an army. An angelic military force had surrounded Elisha and his servant. We see throughout the pages of Scripture that angels are alive, well, and working. And the Bible says they also will be working mightily in the last days. Angelic activity will reach a fever pitch in both the holy and the unholy realms. The angels of God will be active, and demons will be active as well. Then, one day, the archangel will call all true believers to Heaven. The Bible says, “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air” (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 NLT). Yes, there is coming a day when those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ will literally leave this earth in what we call the Rapture. Where will you be on that day?
