If The World Was United Against Evil, This War Would’ve Ended Long Ago – By Amir Tsarfati - https://harbingersdaily.com/amir-tsarfati-if-the-world-was-united-against-evil-this-war-wouldve-ended-long-ago/
Shalom from Eilat in Southern Israel. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – My region of the world never takes a holiday. And it hasn’t been “business as usual” in the Middle East. Things are continuing to escalate. Egypt exchanged fire with the IDF. The IDF has made its way into the heart of Rafah in the Gaza Strip. The Hague revealed its true colors. Europe is recognizing a Palestinian state. What’s next? While I may not know what tomorrow holds, I remain certain concerning who holds tomorrow. Isaiah 40:8 KJV – “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.” Despite the darkness of the times we’re living in, I’m encouraged to see the great number of Christians around the world who are steadfast in their support for Israel. From small groups to churches to different ministries, I’ve received countless pictures of believers standing for Israel. Why does it matter? Because it reveals to me that there is a remnant of believers in these last days holding fast to the promises of God from ages ago. Israel & Hamas As I mentioned previously, the IDF has made its way into the heart of Rafah – the last major Hamas stronghold in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Tragically, more bodies of Israelis who were killed on October 7 and taken to Gaza continue to be recovered in this city. Being the cowards they are, Hamas leaders are content to dwell in their tunnels presenting the façade that hostages are alive in order to leverage some sort of deal with Israel. Of course, when their strategy fails, they blame Israel for their deaths. Like the rest of Gaza, the true city of Rafah is based in its hundreds if not thousands of terror tunnels under the city, which the IDF is progressively destroying. Of course, the military is also terminating weapon-storage facilities, rocket-production sites, and more along the way. It’s time for us to put an end to Hamas! Speaking of Rafah, are you aware that Israel accomplished the safe removal of civilians from the city in a matter of weeks when the Biden Administration said it would take months? While the Biden Administration is screaming, “But the civilians in Rafah…!”, we find rockets and other weapons everywhere we go. It’s safe to say that the opinion of the White House is not held in high esteem these days. As you probably know by now, the Hague condemned Israel last week for what we’re doing in Rafah. At the end of the day, this is meaningless. Israel will do what we need to do to survive and prevent future terrorist attacks. However, consider the darkness of the hour in which we live, as an international court condemns Israel for protecting its people, ultimately sympathizing with Hamas and terrorism in general! And yes, Hamas praised the decision! Oh, and by the way, yes, Hamas is continuing to kill the people of Gaza. And in case you’re still on the fence concerning UNRWA, it was in the tunnels inside of buildings constructed by UNRWA that the mutilated body of the German-Israeli woman, Shani Louk, was found. UNRWA is corrupt to the core! As of Wednesday, the IDF obtained full operational control of the Philadelphi Corridor near Rafah. This is extremely significant because Hamas is now completely cut off from all sides. There is no way of escape. There are no incoming resources. As one source put it – This is the beginning of the end of Hamas. On another note, while tourism in Israel – a very large source of income – continues to be hammered by the ongoing war in the region and threats from the BDS movement, a unique business located next to the Dead Sea is in need of your support. The people at Kedma & Revival Products are friends of mine. All of our tours visit this well-known shop that is popular due to the variety of mineral-based cosmetics it offers – Minerals sourced from the Dead Sea. Please consider supporting them during this difficult time. The provided link includes a special discount at checkout. Lastly, if you want to help support an IDF unit that is fighting in Gaza right now and might be called up to the northern border later, please click HERE. Egypt In the wake of the deteriorating relations between Israel and Egypt, a very unusual incident occurred between the IDF and the Egyptian army in the Rafah crossing area. Israel is conducting an investigation into the details of the incident, which may have significant political consequences. Basically, Egyptian soldiers opened fire on IDF forces. Ultimately, one Egyptian soldier was killed. I encourage you to watch my breaking news segment regarding this incident! Lebanon, Syria, & Hezbollah Israel is continuing to conduct targeted attacks in Lebanon as Hezbollah’s presence thrives in the region. Northern Israel has experienced a host of air raid sirens due to more barrages of rockets being fired from Lebanon over the last week. Sadly, the terrorists successfully caused some damage to homes in the Galilee region. However, it’s almost a daily occurrence that we’re killing Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon. Our targeted attacks are not isolated to Lebanon, as they’re happening throughout Syria as well. Last night, Israel carried out a dramatic and remote bombing in the Alawite city of Banias on the Syrian coast (north of Tartus near the Russian base in Khmeimim Air Base). Hezbollah trucks were bombed and there are casualties. Make no mistake, while Gaza is the largest terror base on the face of the earth, the largest war is yet to come – and it will be with Hezbollah. Yemen & the Houthis The Houthis continue to provoke violence in the region whenever and wherever they can. In the last week, they’ve claimed attacks on ships in various bodies of water, and they’ve even shot down another Reaper Drone belonging to the US military. Russia In case you forgot, the war between Russia and Ukraine is ongoing. However, there are reports of a proposed ceasefire by Russian President Vladimir Putin pending certain conditions. Russia has allegedly offered weapons and ammunition to Sudan in exchange for a fueling station to be established in the Red Sea by the Sudanese government. This deal is expected to be signed soon. Sound familiar? Indeed, we live in the days of Ezekiel’s prophecies. The United States The $320M dock in Gaza that American taxpayers provided – courtesy of the Biden Administration – was short lived, as it met its end yesterday. The dock began to be dismantled by the waves earlier in the week and finally deteriorated yesterday. What was a terrible idea from its conception resulted in a massive waste of resources in the end. This dock turned out to be an embarrassing metaphor for the current US foreign policy. All of that said, America should be far more concerned about what’s happening internally. If what’s coming out of DC isn’t telling you everything you need to know, the terrible fruit coming from America’s college campuses ought to do the trick. If Al-Qaeda and the supreme leader of Iran are siding with what’s taking place on your college campuses, it’s a sneak preview into the decline of your empire. The International Community Last week, I informed you that a handful of European countries were moving towards recognizing a Palestinian state. Sadly, what was moving last week is a reality this week, as just days ago, Ireland’s & Spain’s governments chose to formally recognize a Palestinian state. I expect that others will follow suit. Personally, I’m curious if they will be recognizing Narnia as well. If that’s not enough, Spanish Deputy Prime Minister Yolanda Diaz called for a genocide of Jews in Israel saying, “We cannot stop. Palestine will be free from the River to the Sea.” Apparently, the Inquisition wasn’t enough. Thankfully, there are countries like Denmark standing in opposition to this stupidity. Moreover, Greece has motioned to deport any foreign students who participated in anti-Israel protests. October 7 was so barbaric that it either intimidated the free world into appeasement or inspired others to courage, such as Holland and Argentina. Regrettably, much of the West and Asia simply tried to stop Israel from defending its people from the savagery of the Islamic fascists. In doing so, they revealed their own corruption. And so, the violence continues due to their cowardice. If only the world was united against evil, this war would’ve ended long ago. How Can the Media Narrative Be So Far from The Facts? Gaza Famine Lies – Joshua Arnold - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=6931 Reports of "imminent" famine in Gaza have been greatly exaggerated. In March, a cooperative of transnational organizations directing the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) projected "catastrophic food insecurity" conditions for 1.1 million people -- half of the Gaza Strip's population -- by May. As May's final hours dwindle, that catastrophe has yet to materialize. "The notion of a famine in Gaza, that we've seen no evidence for," is "being created ... by ... the commercial or mainstream media, by the U.N., and by Hamas," Columbia University professor Ran Kivetz protested on "Washington Watch." To no one's surprise, the Anti-Semites of the World United have blamed Israel for creating the famine conditions they wish to exist in Gaza. "International officials continue to accuse Israel of creating famine conditions in Gaza," noted Family Research Council Action President Jody Hice, "even as research demonstrates that the root cause of suffering in Gaza is Hamas." Yet Israel is allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza faster than aid organizations can distribute it. "The amount of food that is being supplied into Gaza by Israel, by the United States, by the Egyptians, including local production ... is sufficient," Kivetz declared. According to an April analysis he co-wrote with fellow Columbia University professor Awi Federgruin, "290,000 tons of food and beverages have been delivered to Gaza since October," according to Israel's Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), enough to supply each of Gaza's two million residents with "1.82 pounds of food daily." Based on U.N. estimates, they added, aid imported through Israel is "enough to supply 50% of Gazans' daily consumption needs -- on top of the food they continue to produce themselves." Situated on the Mediterranean Sea's fertile coastal plain, the Gaza Strip was "self-sufficient in fruits and vegetables" before the war, wrote Kivetz and Federgruin, and they cited the most recent U.N. data to show that three-quarters of Gaza's greenhouse data were still available in mid-February. Furthermore, they noted, according to COGAT, Gazan bakeries "can still provide 'over two million breads, rolls, and pita breads a day.'" Israel isn't the only source of food for Gazans, but it has allowed enough food to comprise half of the population's daily consumption. In large part due to the generosity of Israel, the Gaza Strip has not reached catastrophic famine conditions. "Obviously, in a war zone, you will have disruptions of the food supply and so on," Kivetz granted, but "I don't think we've seen evidence of famine -- of widespread starvation, heaven forbid, or famine -- in Gaza." Yet "that's the story. That's the narrative that's being put out there," Hice noted. International media and commentators have generated rumors of a famine to blame it on Israel, even though such a famine likely does not exist. So far are these rumors from the truth that, "if you compare the amount of food per capita (per individual) that has been supplied into Gaza, compared to the average food consumption in Asia and Africa ... it's even higher in Gaza," contended Kivetz. How can the prevailing narrative be so contrary to the facts? On one level, the only explanation is that Satan, who rules this world as "prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience" (Ephesians 2:2), is also "a liar and the father of lies" (John 8:44). On another level, there is a human agent with a vested interest in broadcasting such a false narrative. That party is the terrorist group Hamas, who started the war by murdering Israeli civilians and has conducted the war by abusing Gazan civilians. "Part of the supply chain problem" is "the chaos in war, but part of it is Hamas," insisted Kivetz, "which has been hoarding and stealing food, which has been firing at the entry points, in fact killing some Israeli soldiers in some of the entry points where food is being provided." "A third-grade student would understand Hamas has an absolute incentive to create stories of famine and starvation and deaths," Kivetz declared. "The more civilians who die in Gaza, the better off Hamas is because they want Israel to stop. ... After conduct[ing] their terrible atrocities, they want to escape this and still remain in power." "So Hamas really is incentivized, then, to block food and aid," Hice responded, "particularly if they are able to manipulate the media and the U.N. to blame it on Israel." In fact, in "the recent decisions by the International Court of Justice [ICJ], [and] the International Criminal Court [ICC] ... Hamas is getting what it wants," specualted Kivetz. ICC prosecutors recently indicted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the preposterous charge of starving Palestinians, while the ICJ on Friday ordered Israel to "immediately halt its military offensive in Rafah" -- Hamas's last remaining stronghold in the Gaza Strip. These preposterous accusations are fulfilling their intended effect: consolidating international opinion against Israel. Josep Borrell, the European Union's high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, recently declared, "Starvation is used as a weapon of war. Israel is provoking famine." The truth is, Hamas is trying to use starvation as a weapon of war, while Israel is effectively forestalling a famine. "To your question about who is propagating or creating this story of famine," Kivetz summarized, "obviously Hamas is interested in that. The U.N. unfortunately, is part of that. They use data that Hamas is providing. The data is wrong." It's Time to Replace our Main Computer! How you can help! Thank you!!! Dear Reader / Supporter, It’s that time, time to replace our main computer, it’s been five years since we last replaced our main computer, it has served us well producing hundreds of newsletters and countless hours of videos, but it’s starting to show its age and is becoming sluggish and sometimes unresponsive making everything I do take much longer than it should! Global food prices have been skyrocketing and hunger has been spreading like wildfire all over the world. We desperately need 2024 to be a year of good harvests, but unfortunately weather patterns are not cooperating at all and bad news about harvest forecasts just continues to pour in from many of the planet’s most important agricultural regions. Global food supplies just keep getting tighter and tighter, and the agricultural price spikes that we are witnessing right now are definitely quite ominous. Could it be possible that the stage is now being set for the global food crisis prophecy of Revelation 6:6? In that verse, we are warned of a time when food prices will soar to absolutely frightening levels… Then I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not harm the oil and the wine.” We certainly haven’t reached that point yet. But are we on the way there? In this article, I would like to share what has been going on with a number of our most important agricultural commodities recently. For example, poor harvests in Brazil have caused the price of orange juice to approximately double over the past 12 months… Prices of the breakfast staple have been climbing rapidly in recent years, partly driven by declining output in Florida — the main producer of orange juice in the U.S. — and climate-fueled extreme weather in the main orange producing areas of Brazil. The South American agricultural powerhouse is the world’s largest producer and exporter of orange juice, which means it plays a hugely influential role in shaping the global industry. The benchmark frozen concentrated orange juice futures, traded on the Intercontinental Exchange in New York, closed at $4.77 per pound on Wednesday. That’s nearly double the price registered a year ago. Prices have gone so “bananas” that some orange juice producers are actually “considering turning to alternative fruits”… Orange juice makers are considering turning to alternative fruits such as mandarins as wholesale prices have “gone bananas” amid fears of poor harvests in Brazil. Prices of orange juice concentrate reached a new high of $4.95 (£3.88) a lb on futures markets this week after growers in the main orange producing areas of Brazil said they were expecting the harvest to be 24% down on last year at 232m 40.8kg boxes – worse than the 15% fall previously predicted. The price of coffee is also going haywire. So if you love coffee, I would stock up now while you still can. Thanks to extremely dry conditions in Brazil and Vietnam, coffee prices were up “sharply” this week… Coffee prices Tuesday rallied sharply, with arabica jumping to a 1-month high. Coffee prices soared Tuesday on concern that excessive dryness in Brazil and Vietnam will damage coffee crops and curb global production. Somar Meteorologia reported Monday that Brazil’s Minas Gerais region received 5.3 mm of rain or 69% of the historical average in the past week. Minas Gerais accounts for about 30% of Brazil’s arabica crop. Last Wednesday, coffee trader Volcafe said Vietnam’s 2024/25 robusta coffee crop may only be 24 million bags, the lowest in 13 years, as poor rainfall in Vietnam has caused “irreversible damage” to coffee blossoms. Volcafe also projects a global robusta deficit of 4.6 million bags in 2024/25, a smaller deficit than the 9-million-bag deficit seen in 2023/24 but the fourth consecutive year of robusta bean deficits. Wheat is specifically mentioned in Revelation 6:6, and Bloomberg is reporting that a confluence of factors has pushed the price of wheat to the highest level in 10 months… Wheat briefly touched the highest in 10 months, as cold and dry weather in major producers and the ongoing war in Ukraine deepen supply concerns. Futures climbed as much as 3.3% in Chicago, before paring some of the gain. Analysts have been cutting production estimates for top exporter Russia in recent weeks, while Ukraine is headed for its driest May on record. Historically low rainfall in Western Australia is also adding to nervousness. Unfortunately, this is just the beginning. I am entirely convinced that the price of wheat will soon go far higher than it is right now. So if you think that the price of bread is high now, just wait until you see what is coming next. Meanwhile, the price of beef just surged to another brand new all-time record high… Beef prices skyrocketed to a new record high this Memorial Day weekend as industry experts warn costs could continue to rise even higher if current regulatory and economic conditions remain unchanged. Recently released data shows that “all fresh beef retail value,” a composite value based on choice beef, other beef, and hamburger retail prices, shot up to $794.90 in April, according to the Economic Research Council, the highest price on record. The size of the U.S. cattle herd is the smallest that it has been in decades, and one rancher named Shad Sullivan recently warned that beef will soon be a luxury that only the wealthy will be able to afford on a regular basis… “We are seeing prices at an all-time high, and it is getting close to that point when the consumer is going to say, I can’t do this anymore; it’s just too costly,” said Mr. Sullivan. “They (officials and regulators) are trying to push these high prices as a new norm where meat is only a treat for the wealthy. That is where they are pushing us, and that is where we are going.” You may be thinking that if beef gets too expensive you will just eat more chicken and turkey. Sadly, chicken and turkey prices are poised to go a lot higher thanks to H5N1. A fresh wave of the bird flu is sweeping across the nation, and Iowa Republican Governor Kim Reynolds just declared a state of emergency in one county in her state due to an outbreak there… Iowa Republican Governor Kim Reynolds signed a disaster proclamation on Tuesday for one of her state’s counties as public health officials prepare to euthanize more than 4 million chickens exposed to a highly contagious bird flu. The order comes after a case of avian influenza was confirmed among a large flock of egg-laying chickens in Sioux County on Tuesday by state and local agriculture officials, according to a report from CBS News. As a result, the animals will be destroyed and their remains will be isolated in an attempt to prevent the further spread of the contagion. In total, some 4.2 million chickens will be put down. Just think about that last sentence for a moment. What do you think that losing 4.2 million chickens will do to egg prices? Everywhere you look, there are signs of trouble. Unfortunately, this is all happening at a time when foreigners have more control over our food supply than ever before. Foreigners now control more than 43 million acres of U.S. farmland, and this should deeply alarm all of us… A recent map has revealed the alarming trend of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) acquiring vast swaths of American farmland, raising serious national security concerns. Foreign ownership of U.S. agricultural land expanded to approximately 43.4 million acres in 2022, according to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). According to the USDA, Chinese investors’ ownership of U.S. agricultural land has skyrocketed from merely 13,720 acres in 2010 to an astounding 346,915 acres by 2022 out of the 43 million acres. Chinese entities hold ownership of farmland across 29 of the 50 U.S. states. I have been warning for many years that global food supplies would get tighter and tighter. Now it is happening right in front of our eyes, and hundreds of millions of people are going to bed hungry every single night. I wish that I could tell you that things will soon get better, but I can’t. We really are living in the end times, and the things that are written in the Book of Revelation really will take place. Are You Running in The Wrong Direction with Bible Prophecy? – By Jonathan Brentner - https://harbingersdaily.com/are-you-running-in-the-wrong-direction-with-bible-prophecy/ On October 25, 1964, Minnesota Vikings’ star defensive end Jim Marshall recovered a fumbled football, but then ran sixty-six yards the wrong way ending up in his own end zone. Thinking he had scored a touchdown, he spiked the ball, which sailed out of bounds resulting in a safety and two points for the opposing team. Despite Marshall’s error, the Vikings defeated the San Francisco Forty-Niners that day, 27-22. This same type of disorientation affects many teachers of Bible prophecy, too. They become disorientated and confuse the comings and goings of Scripture. They end up running the wrong way. For example, adherents of Replacement Theology claim that God rejected Israel after Jesus’ crucifixion. As a result, they teach that Ezekiel 36:22-38 refers to the church rather than the Jewish people. They regard the references to cleansing from sin, a new heart, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as proof positive that these verses refer to New Testament saints. With the use of symbolism, they allegorize the other specifics of this passage in order to make them fit with their predisposed understanding of the text. What does this have to do with sound biblical sense of direction? Notice the words of verse 24: “I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land.” (emphasis added) In Ezekiel 36, along with several other passages regarding the regathering of Israel back to their Land, the Lord promises to bring His people back from the ends of the earth to the Land He promised to the Patriarchs. Jesus, on the other hand, commissioned His followers to go out to the nations of the world (Matthew 25:19-20; Acts 1:8). How can a passage that’s based on the Lord bringing His people back to the Land fit the church and that of Jesus’ sending His followers from Israel out to nations? It cannot. It’s like attempting to fit a round peg in a square hole. Although many additional reasons exist as to why Ezekiel 36:22-38 can’t possibly refer to the church, a key argument for rejecting the Replacement Theology interpretation is that it confuses the comings and goings of God’s people. With Israel, God brings His people back to the land of Israel from the ends of the earth. Jesus, however, sends His church out to the ends of the earth. Jesus Will Receive the Kingdom at His Return To Earth The current confusion regarding the comings and goings of Bible prophecy reminded me of a sermon I once heard in which the pastor, who adhered to a variant form of Replacement Theology, also sprinted the wrong way with his understanding of Scripture. While preaching on Acts 1:6-11, he said that Jesus received His rule over the nations of the earth at His ascension, at His going. He based his conclusion on Daniel 7:13-14 and 26-27, which he said reached fulfillment when Jesus left the earth amid the clouds as His disciples watched Him disappear. He compounded his serious misunderstanding of Scripture by reading from Revelation 5, which he then said referred to Jesus’ arrival in Heaven after His ascension. Hmmm. Notice, however, what the Lord Himself said about the fulfillment of these verses from Daniel 7: “Jesus said to him, ‘You have said so. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.'” (emphasis added) Do you see it? It’s a common mistake among those who teach that God has rejected Israel. Jesus placed His reception of the earthly kingdom, the fulfillment of Daniel 7:13-14 and 26-27, at His coming rather than at His going. Before the Sanhedrin and high priest of the day, Jesus boldly claimed that He was the “Son of man” about whom Daniel wrote about in chapter 7 and placed the fulfillment of this prophecy at His return to the earth, at His “coming on the clouds of heaven.” Those who claim that Jesus fulfilled the words of Daniel 7:13-14 at Jesus’ ascension into the clouds err in no small way. They contradict what Jesus said about these verses as they dash in the wrong direction. The Comings and Goings Of The Rapture Versus The Second Coming Many of those who teach that there’s no Tribulation period and thousand-year reign of Jesus also say there’s no such thing as the Rapture. Some in this crowd, however, still believe that we will meet Jesus in the air in the future. But they equate this event with the Second Coming. Such an interpretation of our “blessed hope” is impossible for a great many reasons. For one, the resurrection of the “dead in Christ” happens first, immediately, at Jesus’ appearing for His Church (1 Thessalonians 4:16) whereas at His Second Coming, the Lord raises the tribulation saints last in a sequence of several other events; it might not even occur until many days after His return to the earth (Revelation 19:11-20:4). But there’s also the matter of the comings and goings. With the Rapture, we go up to meet Jesus in the air after which He takes us to His Father’s house in Heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:17; John 14:2-3). Colossians 3:4 says that when Jesus appears, we “also will appear with him in glory.” Our destination at the time of the Rapture is “glory,” which is most definitely not a place on the earth. An early church bishop named Cyprian (AD 200-258) wrote about the event we now refer to as the Rapture. In his book, Treatises of Cyprian, he referred to “an early departure” of the church by which believers would be “taken away” before a time of “shipwrecks and disasters” on the earth. He continued with these words: “Let us greet the day which assigns each of us to his own home, which snatches us hence, and sets us free from the snares of the world and restores us to paradise and the kingdom.” Cyprian viewed the Lord’s return for His church as a “departure,” at which time He “snatches us” away from the earth and takes us to “paradise” before a time of trouble on the earth. Jesus made it clear that at His appearing, we go to where He is, to His “Father’s house” (John 14:2-3). We go from the earth to Heaven. However, at His Second Coming, we return with our Lord back to the earth (Revelation 19:11-20:4). The direction is from Heaven to Earth. It’s an important distinction that along with many other considerations, make it impossible to equate the Rapture with the Second Coming. Those that adhere to a form of Replacement Theology mistakenly claim that:
Back in the day, I recall seeing video clips of Jim Marshall running the wrong way after picking up a fumbled football. Today, I watch as those who reject a future restoration of a kingdom to Israel spike the football believing they have scored a great victory. Sadly, they don’t realize they have raced against the flow of God’s Word and their celebrations will be short-lived. With Bible prophecy, it’s necessary to distinguish between the comings and goings if one is to qualify, in the words of 2 Timothy 2:15, as “rightly dividing the word of truth.” Words matter if we are to avoid running the wrong way when it comes to Bible prophecy (see Proverbs 30:5). Daily Jot: Suspending your disbelief – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com The guilty verdict in the Donald Trump trial no doubt stunned the nation and divided the country further. Democrats rejoiced. The media rejoiced. Political opposition rejoiced. Conservatives and Republicans called it a communist-third-world show trial. The Democrat talking points repeatedly said that the verdict proved no man is above the law. Reviewing the events of the past few years regarding the Democratic Party and Trump, we see that anyone finding favor with those controlling the court system are above the law, and any who dare oppose those in control is subject to the law. Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden are examples of the former; Trump and many conservatives of the latter. But it’s even deeper. Suspension of disbelief is defined as “the avoidance of logic in works of fiction.” One has to suspend disbelief to believe true all that has happened from the Democratic Party charges beginning with Trump and the Russian election influence all the way through the Trump impeachments to present day charges. Think about it. All these things were propagated by Democratic Party operatives, appointed officials including judges and prosecutors, Democrat agents at the FBI, and Democrat elected officials. One has to suspend disbelief that this is legitimate. Judges appointed by Democrats. Special prosecutors who are Democrat operatives. It is no small coincidence that these trials are taking place in Democrat-controlled courts that are prosecuting with laws that are unrelated to the alleged crimes. But even further, one has to suspend disbelief that this politicization and weaponization of the court system and the administrative apparatus in government is actually a Marxist coup of the Constitutional Republic of the United States. This is not about democracy. It is about Marxism and control. Yes, it is happening right here in the freest, most successful republic in history. Suspend your disbelief because it is happening. It doesn’t make any difference whether it is happening to Trump or those folks praying in front of abortion clinics or standing against sexual deviancy at school boards or those who protested on January 6, 2021—if you dissent from the Marxist-controlled narrative, you are labeled and have a target on your back. They can find a crime to charge you with and put you in a court to prosecute it. BEWARE. The charges and antics are fiction, but the truth lies in the tyranny of fiction’s wake. Please read Isaiah 59. These people’s hands are defiled with blood, they speak lies, they run to evil, even their allies are unsafe from their works of iniquity. Verses 13-14 say, “In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice stands afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.” These are the days of great trial for every American for the courtroom is not in New York or Atlanta or Miami, but in the kingdom of heaven where we do not answer to a corrupt judge, but the one true God. Seek truth. Believe truth. And, now more than ever, SPEAK TRUTH. Daily Devotion: Lose Yourself - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me. —Luke 9:23 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/lose-yourself-2/ - Listen The things that impressed me as a younger Christian still impress me, but now, other things impress me even more. When I was a brand-new believer, I was very impressed by a powerful preacher or someone with a great musical gift that they used for God’s glory. I was impressed by someone who consistently shared their faith and led people to Christ. I am still impressed by those things, of course. But there are other things that impress me today. What impresses me now is a husband and wife who stay faithful to each other for their entire marriage. I’m impressed by a Christian who weathers the storms of life and doesn’t become angry at God but comes closer to Him instead. And I’m impressed by believers who simply live out their faith each day. Being a disciple and being a follower of Jesus is, to borrow a phrase from Nietzsche, “long obedience in the same direction.” It is staying with it. Jesus said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23 NLT). Notice that Jesus said you must take up your cross daily—not yearly, not annually, and not even monthly or weekly. It’s as simple as reading your Bible when you get up in the morning. That is giving up your own way and taking up the cross daily. It means praying. It means speaking up for Jesus Christ, even when it’s uncomfortable or a bit awkward. Essentially, it means putting God first and yourself second. Maybe you’re thinking, “Well, that sounds kind of miserable to me.” It’s actually the opposite of that. It’s living life as it was meant to be lived when you put Jesus first. That’s because Jesus said, “If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but are yourself lost or destroyed?” (Luke 9:24–25 NLT). Take up the cross—that is what we are called to do every day. And if we will do this, then we will find ourselves. Do you want to find yourself? Then lose yourself. Put God first. If you try to be a happy person, you never will be a happy person. Now, there is nothing wrong with wanting to be happy. Everyone wants to be happy. But if you live to be happy, you never will be. As philosopher Eric Hoffer pointed out, “The search for happiness is one of the chief sources of unhappiness.” Here’s what it comes down to: If you want to be happy, then seek to be holy, and happiness will come as a by-product. Seek to be holy. Seek to be like Christ. But also live wholly for Christ. So, seek to be like Christ and live for Christ. You will be a happy person as a result. America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious.
