The Pandemic Treaty’s Failure — Another Indicator Of The Lord’s Restraint On World Events – By Jonathan Brentner - https://harbingersdaily.com/the-pandemic-treatys-failure-another-indicator-of-the-lords-restraint-on-world-events/
I expected to see a much different headline this week. With all the hype and buildup of the past couple of years, I anticipated reading that the member nations of the World Health Organization (WHO) had successfully approved the Pandemic Treaty at their formal meeting beginning on May 27, 2024. Instead, this headline appeared on the AP (Associated Press) Website on May 24, “Efforts to draft a pandemic treaty falter as countries disagree on how to respond to next emergency.” The article addressed the lack of agreement on the matter with the following inconsistent message: The draft treaty had attempted to address the gap that occurred between COVID-19 vaccines in rich and poorer countries, which WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said amounted to “a catastrophic moral failure.” Addressing a sullen final day of negotiations, the WHO chief insisted, “This is not a failure.” “We will try everything — believing that anything is possible — and make this happen because the world still needs a pandemic treaty,” he said. “Because many of the challenges that caused a serious impact during COVID-19 still exist.” Of course, they will keep trying to implement this treaty as it opens the door for the global governance they earnestly covet. What Is this Pandemic Treaty? The push for the Pandemic Treaty began on March 30, 2021, when, according to the WHO website, 25 world leaders announced an “urgent call for an International Pandemic Treaty,” stating that such a treaty is needed to orchestrate a single globalized response to pandemics. At the 2022 WHO gathering, the Biden administration submitted amendments to the proposed treaty that, according to investigative reporter Leo Hohhman, would “cede additional sovereignty, control and legal authority over to the World Health Organization.” In other words, in the event of a public health crisis, the director of the WHO would not only determine its existence but how each member nation should respond to it. The approval of the treaty would effectively end national sovereignty as we know it, which, according to Journalist and author Bill Wilson, President Biden was all too eager to see happen. Wilson wrote the following on his Daily Jot website: Trouble is, Joe Biden already has submitted the US to the WHO sovereignty via his Global Health Strategy, which states, “The United States, together with its international partners, will enhance the prevention, detection, preparation for and response to infectious disease threats, whether naturally occurring, accidental, or deliberate in origin, across sectors at home and abroad in order for our collective efforts to be more efficient, effective, sustainable, and equitable.” In his detailed Global Health Strategy, he is implementing the WHO treaty even without global agreement. The WHO treaty, although rejected for now, already is built into US policy. Proverbs 29:2 says, “When the wicked bear rule, the people mourn.” This is an executive-level decision and does not have Congressional approval, but it’s what Biden is doing, and we are impacted. What’s the Prophetic Significance? Is there any prophetic significance to the failure to approve the treaty? Yes. First, we know from 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8 that the “man of lawlessness” cannot make his presence known on the world stage until the Lord removes His restraining force, which takes place through the presence of the Holy Spirit in true believers. The failure of the nations to agree on the terms of the health treaty is just another indicator of the Lord’s current restraint on world events. Even though we see wickedness and lawlessness expanding exponentially around us, He’s currently restricting the full formation of the coming world order over which the antichrist will assume control. The Rapture and the destruction of the Day of the Lord, which will soon follow, will give those at the UN and World Economic Forum the impetus to move forward with their plans. In the midst of the chaos, the antichrist will emerge and unite the world under his initiatives to restore order to a shaken world. He is the rider on the white horse (Revelation 6:1-2) who will “conquer” the nations after we are safely with the Lord in glory. The Significance of Suddenly What I see happening in the world tells me that the world will soon experience the fulfillment of 1 Thessalonians 5:3: “While people are saying, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.’” When the full force of what the Bible says will happen in the last days rocks the earth, it will happen suddenly. The stage is set for the coming world order, but the Rapture and God’s judgments that follow it will lead to its full implementation. The day we meet Jesus in the air will begin just as any other ordinary day for us. It might already be nighttime, or the sun might be shining bright when we will meet Jesus in the air and suddenly find ourselves in glory in the presence of our wonderful Savior (1 Thessalonians 4:16-5:3; Colossians 3:4). Someday, hopefully soon, everything will suddenly change for us as well as for those seeking to enslave the world through their murderous agenda. We will be in Heaven worshipping our Savior and celebrating with Him. The globalists will have the chaos they crave to fully realize their murderous control over all the nations Prophecy with Purpose – Terry James - https://terryjamesprophecyline.com/2024/06/03/prophecy-with-purpose-2/ One of the most false and cutting accusations launched at the belief that the Bible teaches a person cannot lose his or her salvation when truly born again (John 3:3) is: “If you believe once saved, always saved, you are saying people can live any way they want without fear of punishment.” Or so the line of condemning criticism goes. The absolute assurance of eternal security, of course, engenders no such thought within the mind truly regenerated by the saving power of Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that the Lord convicts His children in their spirits, and that habitual, unrepented-of sin will result in severe penalties–even physical death, in some cases. The Heavenly Father’s patience is longsuffering, but it is not infinite. A person who is a child of God cannot sin without severe repercussions if repentance isn’t forthcoming. But, that person will never be kicked out of God’s family. Never. A kindred sort of accusation is thrown at those who believe in the pre-Trib view of Bible prophecy. The pre-Tribulation view, of course, is the one those of us here believe God’s Word teaches. It is the view that Jesus Christ will call all who are born again to Himself before the Tribulation, which is the last seven years of history leading to the Second Advent (Rev. 19:11). The angry diatribe against the pre-Trib Rapture view–by even genuine Christians, in many cases–usually goes something like this: “People like you, who believe that the Lord is going to rapture them before the Tribulation, think you can live however you want, because you think and teach falsely that you are going to be rescued before God’s judgment and wrath fall, no matter what.” The non-Christian accusers have their own version. It goes something like: “Christians who believe like that don’t care anything about making the world better. You even hope for things to get worse and worse. You wish for earthquakes, famines, pestilence, war in the Middle East, and for Armageddon to hurry up and get here so you will go to your pie in the sky, and watch the rest of us get ours.” Although the first criticism is absolutely not true, I have to admit that, regarding the second, too often I’ve sensed–even heard–such sentiments from some of those who believe in the pre-Trib rapture. And, it is entirely the wrong attitude for the Christian to hold. There are no excuses for wanting the Christ-rejecting world of nonbelievers to be the recipients of God’s judgment and wrath. It is only by God’s unfathomable grace that every one of us isn’t headed into that time of unprecedented horror. No matter how–to use Lot’s King James Version word–“vexed” we becomes by the debauched, debased actions of the lost world around us, our job as Christ’s children–His representatives here on earth–is of a completely different nature than wanting to see them “get what’s coming” to them. The changed nature produced by being born again into God’s eternal family should make you and me do just the opposite of wanting them, in our vexation, to get what we see as coming to them. The Christian whose spirit is attuned to the Holy Spirit’s desire for the lost doesn’t want to see them “get what’s coming to them” either during the Tribulation or upon death. Rather, we want to do all within our power to keep them from having to go through the coming time of God’s judgment and wrath. That’s what Christ’s Great Commission to His disciples before He ascended to sit at the Father’s right hand is all about, you see. That is what God’s love–love that those who have Christ indwelling them possess–is all about. (Read Matthew 28:18-20.) In the same vein, that’s what Bible prophecy is all about. Prophecy given in God’s Word has purpose–profound purpose. Bible prophecy has at its center the commission from the Lord to forewarn of God’s judgment and wrath to come upon all who oppose Him–the Lord of Heaven and Creator of all things. It is not the hatred of God for the lost people of this fallen planet that drives prophecy. It is the love of God that powers His prophetic Word. It must be the Christian’s desire, therefore, to study Bible prophecy and put forth those forewarnings out of a spirit of God’s love, not through an anger-filled abhorrence of those who are lost. Christians who do study prophecy–and they seem to be few these days, I’m sad to have to say–are often heard wondering about when Christ will call the Church (born-again believers) in the Rapture. Everything seems so ripe for His plucking His people from this sin-darkened sphere. Nothing and no one can change God’s timing for His next catastrophic intervention into earth’s history. It will happen exactly on time, as He has determined since before the foundation of this world. However, we might as believers look to ourselves for the Lord’s–often in our view–delay in calling us as outlined in 1 Corinthians 15:51-55 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. The Apostle Peter gave the heart of the reason Christ hasn’t raptured His church: “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). The purpose of Bible prophecy is to show the love of God to a lost and otherwise doomed world. God is not willing that anyone should perish (die in his or her sins), but that all should come to repentance (accept Jesus Christ as the one and only sacrifice for sin that God will accept). The Lord is “longsuffering.” The reason, I’m convinced, the Lord seems so “slack” to many in His coming is because those same people have neglected their duty to share the love of God with the lost–the lost whom God loves so very much that He sent His only begotten Son in order that they not perish. It is well past the time for God’s people to begin investing in getting the message of the love of God to those who will otherwise not hear the warning of deadly things soon to befall this Christ-rejecting planet. Considering these times that so dramatically are signaling the coming Tribulation, Bible prophecy can and must be used as a productive tool for evangelism. PROPHECY UPDATE VIDEOS

The Ark of the Covenant disappeared from history more than 2,500 years ago, and many historians are convinced that it no longer exists. So when it is finally unveiled, it will be the greatest archaeological bombshell in human history. Over the years, there have been a lot of truly outlandish theories about the location of the Ark of the Covenant, and those that have pursued such theories have always come up empty. That is because the true location of the Ark is not a mystery. As you will see below, the Temple Institute says that it knows “exactly” where it is, and I believe them. There is no object that archaeologists would like to find more than the Ark of the Covenant. It was created more than 3,000 years ago, and the tablets on which the Ten Commandments were written are literally housed within it… For centuries, people have tried in vain to locate and recover the Bible’s most sacred objects. Among the most sought-after of these religious antiquities is the famed Ark of the Covenant. This legendary artifact is the ornate, gilded case said to have been built some 3,000 years ago by the Israelites to house the stone tablets on which the Ten Commandments were written. Biblical accounts describe the Ark as large, about the size of a 19th-century seaman’s chest, made of gold-plated wood, and topped with two large, golden angels. It was carried using poles inserted through rings on its sides. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, since nobody has seen the Ark in more than 2,500 years, “most historians” believe that the Ark “either disintegrated over time or was destroyed”… Most historians think that if it existed, the more than 3,000-year-old relic either disintegrated over time or was destroyed. But this, too, is only speculation. For many, the final fate of the Ark remains a fascinating mystery and a perhaps unsolvable one. I had to smile when I read that. All of those “historians” are going to be quite surprised when the Ark of the Covenant is unveiled for the entire world to see. The last time that anyone saw the Ark was more than 2,500 years ago. After the Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BC, the Ark completely disappeared from history… The last known location of the Ark of the Covenant was in the First Temple’s Holy of Holies. However, after the Temple’s destruction in 586 BCE, it disappeared. But the Babylonians did not capture the Ark. So what happened to it? Many believe that it was hidden under the city of Jerusalem at some point prior to the Babylonian conquest. And apparently it is still sitting under the city of Jerusalem today. On their official website, the Temple Institute clearly states that they know “exactly” where it is located… While some claim to have evidence that the ark is in Ethiopia, and of course, moviegoers were treated to a fanciful version of the story in “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” in reality, the expression “lost” ark is not an accurate description for the Jewish people’s point of view – because we have always known exactly where it is. So the Ark is “Hidden,” and hidden quite well, but it is not lost. Tradition records that even as King Solomon built the First Temple, he already knew, through Divine inspiration, that eventually it would be destroyed. Thus Solomon, the wisest of all men, oversaw the construction of a vast system of labyrinths, mazes, chambers and corridors underneath the Temple Mount complex. He commanded that a special place be built in the bowels of the earth, where the sacred vessels of the Temple could be hidden in case of approaching danger. Midrashic tradition teaches that King Josiah of Israel, who lived about forty years before the destruction of the First Temple, commanded the Levites to hide the Ark, together with the original menorah and several other items*, in this secret hiding place which Solomon had prepared. This location is recorded in our sources, and today, there are those who know exactly where this chamber is. And we know that the ark is still there, undisturbed, and waiting for the day when it will be revealed. An attempt was made some few years ago to excavate towards the direction of this chamber. This resulted in widespread Moslem unrest and rioting. They stand a great deal to lose if the Ark is revealed – for it will prove to the whole world that there really was a Holy Temple, and thus, that the Jews really do have a claim to the Temple Mount. The Temple Institute isn’t saying that they have a vague idea that it is under the city of Jerusalem somewhere. They are telling us that they know precisely where it is hidden. And I believe them. Previously, there have been reports that Rabbi Yehuda Getz was “within 40 feet” of the chamber where it is located in 1982… Rabbi Getz believes that in 1982 he was very close, within 40 feet, to finding the cave in which the Ark resides. He was conducting a search in an old tunnel that had been filled with the debris of centuries, which runs perpendicular to the Western Wall and under the Temple Mount. However, when the Moslems discovered that there were diggings being conducted under the Dome of the Rock, they threatened a general riot and the diggings were stopped. The rabbi explains that, for the sake of maintaining peace with their Moslem neighbors, the Israelis had to reseal the entrance to the tunnel, and it remains blocked up to this day. It is one thing to know where the Ark is, but actually getting it out from where it is hidden will be another matter entirely. As investigative archaeologist Harry Moskoff has accurately noted, getting approval from all of the necessary authorities would not be easy… Now, about those subterranean tunnel entrances. Even if one would theoretically obtain all the permits from the Israel Antiquities Authority, the Jordanian WAQF, as well as the halachic permission from the Chief Rabbis of our day, it is simply too dangerous from a spiritual, as well as physical perspective to enter into these tunnels (which I delineate in my book). Moskoff is completely convinced that the Ark is sitting there ready to be revealed. In fact, he believes that the Ark is directly behind a gigantic 570 ton stone that was specifically placed there to protect it… Moskoff took CBN News to the spot where he believes the Ark really lies. He believes a key clue lies behind a 570-ton rock and says high-tech search tools give credence to his theory. “Two years ago, there were tests done by the University of Nebraska, sonar tests…using electromagnetic waves. They actually found what’s called a storage space across from here,” said Moskoff. “So actually, there was a purpose for putting this giant stone, this massive slab here. One of the reasons, in my opinion, is to protect whatever it is on the other side. And according to my theory of where the Ark was actually buried by King Josiah, I think it was 568 BC – in back of these boulders, these massive stones,” he said. My opinion is that the Ark has not been revealed to the world yet because it has not been time for that to happen yet. But could that time be coming soon? The Temple Institute knows where the Ark is, and they aren’t going to be able to keep a lid on that secret forever. At some point the Ark will once again see the light of day, and then everything will change. There is actually an ancient Jewish document entitled “Treatise of the Vessels” that says that the Ark of the Covenant will not be revealed “until the day of the coming of the Messiah”… One text called the “Treatise of the Vessels” says that the ark “shall not be revealed until the day of the coming of the Messiah son of David….” We are certainly living in the days just before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, and as I discussed in my latest book, I believe that it won’t be too long before the Ark is finally revealed. One of the reasons why the Ark has been on my heart lately is because the day of Pentecost if coming up. On the day of Pentecost, we remember the covenant that God made with His people at Mt. Sinai, and we also remember how the Holy Spirit visited the apostles in the Book of Acts. When the Ark of the Covenant is finally revealed, it will confirm that the covenant that God made with His people at Mt. Sinai really does exist. And all of the historians that told us that the Ark no longer exists, Moses was not a real historical figure, and the exodus out of Egypt was just a legend will have to come up with entirely new theories. It’s Not Surprising America Is A ‘Post-Christian’ Nation When You Look At The State Of Our Pulpits – By David Bowen - https://harbingersdaily.com/its-not-surprising-america-is-a-post-christian-nation-when-you-look-at-the-state-of-our-pulpits/ Is America a Christian nation? That is not a question I hear asked anymore. Maybe because our values and morals have gone so far off the rails that it’s no longer considered a valid question. Pantheism has replaced theism as the dominant spiritual belief. The philosophy of Nietzsche believes that when it comes to right and wrong, there is no such thing as absolute truth, only personal interpretation. That philosophy has now become socially adopted and accepted. The standard motto for right and wrong has become: whatever you think is true is true, and whatever I think is true is also true. Our nation’s moral ground has been ground down to such a shallow level that each generation is now being taught everything is acceptable, and anyone who disagrees is seen as a judgmental and intolerant person. I seem to remember a book in the Bible called Judges that ended with everyone doing what was right in their own eyes. That proved to be a poor choice as it ended up leading to chaos and division. We Want a King The book of 1 Samuel was written approximately three thousand years ago, 1,100 years before Christ. In the time of 1 Samuel 8, leaders came to Samuel and bluntly said, “You are an old man, and because of this, you will not be able to lead us much longer.” They wanted to know who their leader would be when Samuel died. He had two sons, and the leaders acknowledged he had set a good example for them, but they hadn’t followed it and so couldn’t lead. “We want a king to be our leader, just like all the other nations.” Then the Israelites told Samuel, “Choose a king for us!” Samuel was bothered by this request and so did what a godly leader should do—he went to the Lord in prayer. God answered Samuel and told him to give the people what they wanted. God told Samuel it was Him—God—whom the people were rejecting. God also told Samuel to do everything the leaders asked as well as to warn them by telling them how badly a king would treat them. God told these leaders that their choice would not be what they thought it would be. God was not surprised by the people’s demand for a king. Three hundred years before the request was made, God foretold that the Israelites would one day ask for a king (Deuteronomy 17:14-15). Why did the people want a king? God had faithfully led them through Moses and Aaron, and God placed priests and judges in leadership positions. The truth behind their request for a king was their rejection of God’s way of leadership. That was over three thousand years ago; unfortunately, not much has changed. People today are still questioning God’s leading, and believers today are living “like all the other nations” who do not worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Worldliness in the Church It is not surprising when worldliness affects our culture, but what happens when it becomes part of a church’s culture? Are we any different than the leaders in Samuel’s day? A survey by the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University conducted just two years ago found that just slightly over only one-third (37%) of Christian evangelical pastors hold a biblical worldview. This was done by a Christian university surveying Christian pastors. Only a third of them have a Christian worldview! If that is the case, then what view do most pastors believe? The same survey said the majority of Christian pastors—62%—hold a hybrid worldview, which is the blending of multiple and different worldview belief systems. Three thousand years ago, the people of God wanted to have an earthly king in order so they could indulge in idol worship as they served false gods. They wanted to live and worship just as the surrounding pagan nations did. Today, we have the advantage of history, which allows us to look back on that decision to see if it was a wise or a poor choice. History reveals that the decision was disastrous, eventually leading to the nation of Israel being divided into two and ultimately conquered by the Assyrians in the north and the Babylonians in the south. Modern-Day Samuels Needed As the world clamors for an earthly king, the church should be a modern-day Samuel and cry out “NO! That is not what you want!” From the first pages of Scripture, mankind has been told to obey and worship only the God of creation. Yet, from the beginning, man has decided to live as he pleases. The day is coming when the decision of who the king is will be taken away from man. God will place the perfect King Jesus on the throne, and He will reign in righteousness. Why does God delay? Why doesn’t He intercede now? That answer is found in 2 Peter 3 when we are told the purpose of God’s delay in dealing with evil is because of His grace. He wants to give people more opportunity and time to be saved and have eternal life. God’s grace is a gift, but the time will come when His patience will end. Why has mankind continuously sought an earthly king but rejected the Kingdom? It’s because the Kingdom of God is designed to rule over the hearts and lives of those who submit to God’s authority. Scripture explains those who refuse to submit to Him are not part of the Kingdom of God. When facing Pontius Pilate face-to-face, Jesus proclaimed that His Kingdom was not of this world (John 18:36). Jesus preached that to be part of the Kingdom of God, one must submit and repent (Matthew 4:17). Submission and Repentance Submitting and repenting do not allow idol worship. It does not fit in a Nietzsche-like environment where man has the final say in acceptable cultural morals and values. Three of the Gospels clearly describe how the forerunner to Jesus’ earthly ministry, John the Baptist, faithfully proclaimed the need for repentance as he cried out, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near” (Matthew 3:2, Mark 1:15, Luke 3:3). The American false god condition is not new. A 2018 Pew Research survey found that one-third of Americans say they do not believe in the God of the Bible but that they do believe there is some other higher power or spiritual force in the universe. As in the days of Samuel, man wants a king, one who will permit their selfish desires while at the same time promoting a self-absorbent lifestyle, fully rejecting the Kingdom of God. The day is coming when God will say, “Enough is enough!” Daily Jot: Biden scheming to oust Netanyahu? - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Joe Biden may be scheming to oust Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. A recent series of meetings between Biden emissaries and opposition leaders in Israel indicates something more than just political differences is afoot. Biden and Netanyahu have publicly disagreed on the war on terror against Hamas. Biden has done what he can to frustrate Israeli war plans by demanding a ceasefire, withholding munitions, and negotiating with Hamas behind Israel’s back. In response, Netanyahu said in a May 10 interview on the Dr. Phil show, “We will do what we have to do to protect our country, protect our future…If Israel has to stand alone, we will stand alone.” It now appears Biden is trying to isolate Netanyahu. On May 20, Joe Biden’s National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby told reporters National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan was in Israel and “He had chance to meet with the leader of the opposition, Yair Lapid, as well as the Minister of Defense, Mr. Gallant, and a couple of members of the Israeli war cabinet to include Benny Gantz…The purpose there was to talk, obviously, about the situation in Gaza and U.S. support–continued support for Israel in the face of the various threats that they’re under. And, again, there was a broad range of discussions here to include humanitarian assistance and making sure we can increase that flow, get it more sustained, as well as doing everything that they can to reassure and make comfortable humanitarian aid workers as that aid starts to get in.” Key words: “meet with the leader of the opposition.” Kirby went on to discuss how Sullivan “was sort of building out on this strategic consultative group format” and cited it as an example of “Israeli willingness to continue to hear us out on our concerns…” The White House read out of Sullivan’s meeting with “the opposition” stated: “Minister Gallant and General Halevi briefed Mr. Sullivan on new alternative approaches to defeating Hamas in Rafah to address the concerns that have been expressed by the U.S. side through the Strategic Consultative Group process. The two sides agreed to continue discussions.” Kirby didn’t mention that Sullivan met the previous day with Netanyahu and members of his government and “reiterated the President’s longstanding position on Rafah.” The Netanyahu meeting is reiteration of a position, the meeting with opposition is alternatives to the current status. Kirby said Sullivan also met with representatives from Saudi Arabia to “lead to a more integrated region,” apparently meaning the Saudi influence on a two-state solution that Netanyahu has publicly stated he will not support. Sullivan briefed Netanyahu “on these meetings and the potential that may now be available for Israel, as well as for the Palestinian people.” 2 Timothy 3:13 says, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” The US is obviously trying to interfere with the Israeli government in general and Netanyahu in particular. Neither Barack Obama nor Biden are fans of Netanyahu. Obama even tried to interfere in Netanyahu’s election. More meddling is in the works, setting a dangerous course for both Israelis and Americans. Daily Devotion: Only One Race to Run - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. —Philippians 3:14 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/only-one-race-to-run/ - Listen When we’re running the race of life, our competition is not with each other. The goal is not to outrun someone else. The goal is to outrun the wicked influences that could bring us down. So, what race should we run? The race that is set before us. We are not to concern ourselves with who is behind or ahead of us. We are to run the race that is set before us. The apostle Paul, who had walked with the Lord for years, made this statement: “I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection . . . No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us” (Philippians 3:12–14 NLT). God has called each of us to run our own race. An incident from the life of Peter illustrates this truth. After Peter had been restored following his denial of the Lord, Jesus said, “Feed my sheep” (John 21:17 NLT). Then Jesus went on to tell Peter how his life would end. As they were talking, Peter noticed someone was behind them: the apostle John. So, Peter said, “What about him, Lord?” (verse 21 NLT). In other words, “Lord, You told me to follow You and that I am going to die for the faith. And I am willing to do that. But what about John?” Jesus told him, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? As for you, follow me” (verse 22 NLT). Jesus was saying, “Peter, it’s none of your business. You just do what I’ve told you to do.” Like Peter, we might be tempted to say, “What about so-and-so? Why have I had this setback in my life, and they haven’t? Why has this tragedy befallen me, and it has not come to them?” That is not your concern. You are to deal with what God has allowed in your life. You are to run your race and keep your eyes on Jesus. Seeing Jesus gave the young martyr Stephen the ability to run his race and finish it. And seeing Jesus gave Simon Peter the ability to step out of the boat and walk on the water. In fact, the Bible says that Jesus “lives forever to intercede with God on [our] behalf” (Hebrews 7:25 NLT). Circumstances will disappoint and, at times, devastate us. People will let us down and fall short of our expectations. Feelings will come and go. But Jesus always will be there with outstretched arms, saying, “Come on, you can do this. You can live this life. You can finish this race. I am here with you. Let’s do it.” Are you running the race of life as well as you ought to? Or, are you just offering a half effort? What on earth are you doing for Heaven's Sake? "Share in the Blessings and Rewards that will last Forever!" "Folks, it's all beginning to unravel. America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel. So be ready to share your faith and your hope with those who need Christ. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey 1) We need your prayers!- We proclaim the Truth of the Word of God and we are under constant spiritual and sometimes even physical attack. 2) We need your encouragement!- We need to hear from you, let us know how the Lord is blessing you through this ministry so that we can share it with others. 3) We need your input! - If you have a prophetic article or story or if there is a news related item we missed, let us know. 4) We need your financial support!- To put it quite simply, without your support, there would be no Prophecy Update. I ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with us to get the Word out and keep the world informed. Remember, your gift, no matter how small, does make a difference! You will be helping to touch lives, around the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thanks to the internet your generosity carries a global impact! - Thanks! Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 If you have been blessed by Prophecy Update and would like to help support this ministry financially.
