(Galilee, Israel) — The October 7th war between Israel and Hamas boils down to one city, Jerusalem. Is Jerusalem really holy to Jews, Christians, and Muslims? This question is at the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is not only a political matter but also a religious and spiritual one. Because it goes all the way back to God, let’s see what He says on the matter. In 2 Chronicles 6, verse 6, Scripture says: “But now I have chosen Jerusalem for my Name to be there, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.” In many places in the written Word of God, the Lord promised the land of Zion to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, and the Jewish people as a whole. The Jewish connection to Jerusalem runs deep in our spiritual DNA. This bond is beautifully captured in one of the most profound biblical passages for the Jewish people. Psalm 137:5-6 declares: “If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill! Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth, if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem above my highest joy!” In fact, Jews and Christians both agree that God is preparing Jerusalem as the seat for His Messiah to reign in the future Millennial Kingdom. But what about Islam’s claim on Jerusalem? Shockingly, the Quran never once mentions Jerusalem. It was only centuries later that Muslim writers began making claims about the city’s importance. Before 1967, the Muslim world placed little importance on Jerusalem. So much so that during Jordan’s control over East Jerusalem, they made no effort to declare it as their capital. Jerusalem became a major talking point for the Palestinian cause only when the Israelis named it the Unified Capital of the State of Israel. On the other hand, Jerusalem holds eternal significance for Jews and Christians as the city where God promises to one day establish His eternal kingdom, ruling over all nations. As Zechariah 14:9 declares: “The LORD will be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name the only one.” This is the real reason for the fierce battle over Jerusalem. It is a spiritual war between the true living God and those who oppose Him, whether or not they are convinced that what they are doing is in the name of God. So, whose holy city is it? Jerusalem is the holy city of the Holy One—the Holy One of Israel, that is—and He already settled this issue in the Bible. It is time we started listening to Him. Several verses of Scripture revealed that the signs would be like the birth pains of a woman who would soon deliver her baby (meaning the signs would increase in frequency and intensity as we approached the end of the age). Looking back on my early days as a student of Bible prophecy, it seemed like something major happened about once every 6 months. When asked about the signs of His Second Coming, Jesus said, “Behold the Fig Tree” (Israel), and most prophecy teachers I knew were saying the number one sign is Israel. Later, someone started teaching that we should see all the signs coming on the scene, and they called it “a convergence of the signs.” Having said this, the fulfillment of all the signs has reached the point where I feel overwhelmed by just trying to discover what has happened in the last 24 hours. I am not talking about feeling overwhelmed once every 6 months or once a week. I am talking about feeling overwhelmed every day of the week (7 days a week). The evidence is in the length of the weekly articles I write. When I first started writing, I tried to keep the articles to 4 or 5 pages (Some readers sent me e-mails saying they don’t read long articles). My articles are now up to about 9 pages, and I assume that some readers may not read the entire article because of its length (this one is about 10, and I apologize). Please realize that the length is partly the result of the prophetic signs being like birth pains. Think about this: Jesus told us to “Behold the Fig Tree” (Israel), and my daily update has contained something about Israel every day for more than 240 consecutive days. I suspect that Israel makes the news almost every day in many nations. In addition to that, leaders in the UN, EU, Arabs, and others have met to discuss Israel several times, and Israel (one of the tiniest nations on earth) has received a representative or representatives from somewhere on earth almost every day that goes by. We have never seen a time like this. Here are some current events that seem to relate to Bible prophecy. One, concerning wickedness and corruption at the end of the age: on May 30, 2024, it was reported that Palestinian documents that Israel captured from Hamas in Gaza show that Hamas stole $108 million from Palestinian banks and their branches in April of 2024. Armed groups of Hamas terrorists entered banks, emptied vaults, robbed branches, and used the money to finance their terrorist activities. (My opinion: Some of that money probably came from the U.S.; this is not the first time there have been reports that Hamas robs banks. The Biden administration knows about it, but Biden continues to send money to the Palestinians and support Hamas.) (More: An Israeli soldier said Israeli troops have found Yahya Sinwar’s main hideout in a tunnel with offices, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, lots of specialty foods, and millions of dollars in cash.) Two, concerning the loss of jobs, higher energy prices, inflation, the decline of America, etc.: on May 21, 2024, it was reported that the Biden administration’s Bureau of Land Management released a series of new regulations that will make it impossible to mine for coal, drill for oil, or drill for natural gas on millions of acres of federal lands. The Biden administration did this despite the fact:
The head of the American Coal Council said America is committing national suicide in pursuit of a fairy tale (green energy that does not meet our needs). Three, concerning an economic collapse: on May 30, 2024, it was reported that Dr. Vernon Coleman (author of hundreds of articles and more than 100 books that have been translated into 22 languages) said neither the Labour Party nor the Conservative Party wants to win the upcoming UK General election because the UK government has run out of money, the economy is going to collapse, neither party wants to be blamed for it, and both prefer that the other party be in charge. Four, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on May 30, 2024, it was reported that the Biden administration secretly gave permission to Ukraine to attack targets inside Russia with U.S. weapons. (More: On May 30, 2024, Russia warned that its threats to use tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine are not a bluff.) (More: On June 3, 2024, a Russian official said the U.S. could face “fatal consequences” for providing Ukraine with U.S. weapons to strike targets on Russian soil.) Five, concerning world government and persecution, Tedros Ghebreyesus (director general of the World Health Organization – WHO) recently said:
Many reports by reputable scientists and experts have confirmed that the COVID vaccinations were dangerous, ineffective, caused heart problems, caused fertility problems, caused death rates to increase, and caused autism to increase. It has been proven that some of the vaccines were contaminated. Dr. Fauci (head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – NIAID) has admitted that he didn’t have scientific data for some of the protocols he “made up” (social distancing, wearing a mask, etc.). And now the head of the WHO (a UN group) wants to really “push back” on people who opposed the contaminated, death-causing, ineffective vaccinations. (My opinion: Empowering globalist groups to force their “made up” protocols on everyone on earth will lead to extreme persecution, tyranny, and oppression.) Six, concerning world government and the recent failure of the International Pandemic Treaty: on May 30, 2024, it was reported that 47 African nations have drafted their own treaty and asked the WHO to call a special session of the World Health Assembly to consider it before the end of 2024. (More: On May 30, 2024, it was reported that Australia asked the World Health Assembly to find a way to advance the WHO’s International Pandemic Treaty.) (More: On June 2, 2024, it was reported that 216 elected officials from 34 nations have signed a letter instructing WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus that any effort to adopt the proposed WHO Pandemic Agreement or IHR amendments this week would “violate the principles of good governance,” break organizational rules, and usher in an era of “tyranny and oppression.”) (More: On June 3, 2024, it was reported that the WHO plans to complete an International Pandemic Treaty by 2025.) Seven, concerning world government and amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHRs): it has been reported that the WHO violated the rules on June 2, 2024, and rammed through approval of a set of amendments. I don’t know what got passed, but the original amendments would allow the WHO to declare a public health emergency and take control of everyone on earth. The WHO could prevent any nation or individual from doing anything the WHO didn’t want them to do. The WHO could require medical treatments, vaccinations, masks, quarantines, passport restrictions, social distancing, etc. And don’t overlook this: the WHO violated the rules to ram through the IHRs. If they were willing to violate the rules before the IHRs passed, what should we expect if they want to violate the rules after they have more power? What if they want to assassinate the unvaccinated, etc? Approximately 7,500 congregations have disaffiliated with the United Methodist Church over this issue in the last few years. Nine, concerning a worthless peace treaty in the Middle East that causes people to declare peace and safety and bring sudden destruction (the Tribulation Period) upon the world: on June 3, 2024, a group of so-called UN experts urged all nations to recognize a Palestinian state to ensure peace in the Middle East. According to them, “This is a pre-condition for lasting peace in Palestine and the entire Middle East – beginning with the immediate declaration of a ceasefire in Gaza and no further military incursions into Rafah.” (My question: Why didn’t the so-called experts include no further military attacks on Israel?) Ten, concerning wars and rumors of war: on June 3, 2024, it was reported that Hezbollah in Lebanon attacked Israel 238 times in April and 325 times in May – 563 times in 61 days. (More: The head of Israel’s military told troops the need to deal with Hezbollah has become more acute, and a decision on whether to go to war or not is near.) (More: On June 4, 2024, Netanyahu told troops and firefighters in northern Israel that the nation is ready for an extremely powerful response to Hezbollah in Lebanon.) (More: On June 4, 2024, it was reported that representatives of several diplomatic delegations are concerned that a war between Israel and Lebanon is on the horizon. According to the report, officials in the UK believe Israel is gearing up to attack Lebanon around the middle of this month.) (More: On June 5, 2024, several Israelis were injured by a Hezbollah rocket. Israel is set to approve the enlistment of 50,000 more reservists.) Eleven, concerning deceit: on June 1, 2024, two members of Netanyahu’s governing coalition said Pres. Biden lied to the world when he claimed a proposal for a ceasefire and hostage deal had come from the Israeli government. They threatened to leave Netanyahu’s government and cause it to collapse if he agrees to the ceasefire that Biden wrongly said Israel agreed to. Netanyahu said there can be no permanent ceasefire in Gaza until Hamas and its governing capabilities are destroyed. Twelve, concerning a worthless peace treaty in the Middle East: on June 3, 2024, the Biden administration’s ambassador to the UN introduced a bill in the UN Security Council to impose a ceasefire and hostage release in Gaza. Biden called the bill “Israel’s Proposal,” but Israel is disputing it. Netanyahu said Biden has conveniently overlooked Israel’s goal of defeating Hamas. He said Israel didn’t agree to end the war. Israel only agreed to discuss an end to the war, and Israel would only discuss it after the hostages are released. (My question: Has Biden instructed the U.S. ambassador to the UN to lie to the Security Council? Does he have dementia? What is going on here?) Thirteen, concerning deceit, world government, and a borderless world: on June 4, 2024, after letting about 11 million illegal immigrants into the U.S. and with an election coming up in about 5 months, Pres. Biden issued an executive order that he said would do what Republicans have refused to do: secure the border. Texas Governor Abbott said: Since his first day in office, President Biden dismantled all of his predecessor’s successful border policies, encouraging millions of illegal immigrants – including dangerous criminals and terrorists – into our country. For three years, the President has lied about the existence of the border crisis, deflected blame to Congress, and now contradicts himself by issuing a feckless (worthless) executive order months before Election Day. (My question: Pres. Biden has often claimed that our border is secure. If he was telling the truth, why do we need an executive order to secure the border?) A U.S. official said it is not a done deal yet, but it is more or less complete. About 2-3 weeks ago, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham indicated he is willing to support many of these things, but the Palestinian Authority must be reformed, and Hamas must be defeated. Israel is clearly opposed to the creation of a Palestinian state. (1 Thessalonians 5:3) As I say, my perplexity has stemmed from the context. This is a follow-up passage from the Apostle Paul’s further revelation on the mystery about the Rapture: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:16–18) For me, the disconnect came from my long-thought belief that there will be, following the disappearance of millions of believers, a collapse–a meltdown—of human interaction on a global scale. Chaos would immediately follow this staggering event, but it would, I believed, be a more-or-less controlled chaos; the cry for peace and safety would be like a growing worldwide emotional breakdown and financial, societal, and cultural collapse that would cause people to beg for somebody to fix it all. Antichrist would be willing and able to step up, and the panicked people would readily accept the back-to-normal promises he offered, giving him growing control over the nations. But why, then, the term “sudden destruction”? It smacks of instant devastation, not of slow or even rapid collapse into chaos and dystopian existence for the world of left-behind people. The realization strikes that “peace and safety” seems to connote something far deeper than freedom from chaos and disorder from financial catastrophe and the breakdown of law and order. It indicates, I am convicted, a desperate desire for a preservation of life itself, not just a call for restoration to something akin to normalcy. I have long held, as anyone who has followed my commentaries knows, that Jesus Himself told of the exact circumstances in which this generation now finds us. His “days of Noah, days of Lot” prophecy found in the Matthew chapter 24 Olivet Discourse and again in Luke 17:26–28, says it will be business as usual right until the moment believers are taken to be with Him in the clouds of Glory. It will be just like it was in the time of Lot in Sodom. The very day Lot was taken by the angels out of the wicked city, the town and its sister town of Gomorrah were totally, and I mean totally, destroyed. As a matter of fact, those excavating the area today are just beginning to uncover just how total the destruction was in that judgment. My puzzlement was always that Jesus indicated it will be just like that when believers are taken to Heaven. Destruction of the sort Sodom experienced, He said, will fall that very day. How, then, could there be this slow collapse into societal and cultural dystopia that could take weeks, months, or longer? Sodom and Gomorrah were instantly destroyed in a deluge of fire and brimstone–devastation that might have been similar to the nuclear devastation such weaponry can inflict today. All we must do to see the potential for nuclear conflict is to read the news. One report leaves little doubt the potential for Sodom-like destruction can be easily dealt by the hand of humankind, without even the need for wrath directly from Heaven. More and more European officials and NATO countries are on board with allowing Ukraine to use Western-supplied weapons to strike deep inside Russian territory. Among the latest to speak openly about this are NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, EU foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell, and the government of Sweden, which is the NATO alliance’s newest member state. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday issued one of his more dire warnings yet, putting Europe on notice by commenting on their possessing small land areas and dense populations. The veiled threat is very ominous especially in light of the fact that Russia just wrapped up tactical nuclear drills near Ukraine. (“Putin Threatens West’s ‘Dense Populations’ In ‘Small Land Masses’ In Response To NATO Escalation,” ZeroHedge, May 29, 2024) With nuclear weaponry in the hands of leaders who are more and more threatening to use them, it’s a wonder the nuclear genie hasn’t escaped the bottle. It is indeed amazing that a nuclear weapon hasn’t been accidentally discharged; there are accounts of massive hydrogen bombs that have come within a hair’s breadth of accidentally exploding. The fact is, I have no doubt, the staying hand of Almighty God has prevented such disaster. He continues to restrain nuclear and all other sorts of satanic evil from being unleashed. He has, as promised in Psalm 2, had the diabolists of this judgment-bound world in “derision”–intervening to disrupt the devil’s plans to bring on yet another world war. But God’s patience is not without limits. There is coming a time when, like with Lot‘s case, He will call believers from the planet’s surface and into Jesus’ loving arms. You want to go to Christ when He shouts, “Come up here!” You will be forever safe in God’s family, saved from the sudden destruction taking place on earth. Here is how to make sure you go in the Rapture, which will happen at any moment. That if you will confess with your mouth the lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. He held onto it, studied it, talked to the Father endlessly about it, and he received much revelation about it through the indwelling Ruach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) over a period of many years. Tom is Home with His King now, and I’m writing this simple Truth in article form, prompted by the Father’s Spirit, because of the great, great deal of confusion that I have seen recently about this topic. One of the most spiritual men I’ve ever known, the Father gave Tom numerous “Mind-to-mind” details of the 144,000 over a period of many years. I’m going to try, with the Father’s help, to keep it as simple as I can, using mostly emails that Tom sent me over the 10+ years I had the privilege of knowing him. Tom reached out to me through Rapture Ready a decade ago when I was submitting my own amateur and novice articles. His first words to me were, “I just want to bear some fruit before I die.” That definitely caught my attention, and I can assure you, he DID bear much fruit for the Kingdom! He was a fisher of men!! I am also forever grateful to my wonderful and dedicated brother in Christ, Terry James, for being a committed leader in the prophetic details of Scripture and for helping me grow in my walk over the years. First—let’s identify some of the most important Scriptural characteristics of the 144,000.
Those are some of the key details that we need to keep in mind. Now let’s look at Revelation Chapters 7 and 14, which talk about the 144,000, and which is where we get these characteristics. Next, in verse 2, we see another messenger ASCENDING or COMING UP FROM the rising of the sun, holding the Seal of the Living God. This messenger cries with a LOUD VOICE to the four messengers who are holding the wind (spirits) back that will harm the earth and the sea. This messenger cries back to them (in a loud voice) not to harm the earth, sea, or trees “until we have SEALED the servants of our Elohim on their foreheads.” The next few verses detail the 144,000 that are sealed from all of the Tribes of the children of Yisra’el, 12,000 from each Tribe. I have emphasized a couple of key things here. We see the messenger is ASCENDING with the seal. Why is he ascending? There’s a simple answer!! Because the 144,000 are IN HEAVEN! The Resurrected saints in Messiah AND the Raptured saints are now in Heaven, and the 144,000 are waiting to be sealed!! Yes—many of the 144,000—perhaps MOST of them, will come from the dead in Mashiach of ALL TIME! They have now become changed—transformed—united with our King and are classified with all the attributes given to them in Revelation Chapter 14! There is no possible way for any living human being to have the qualifications of the 144,000 without being resurrected/translated—they HAVE to have been transformed into new beings—there is simply no other way to be undefiled, without lie and without blame, unless they are joined to our Savior, Who will lead them in their coming mission back on earth. Let’s examine how these “classifications” fit now that they are ONE (Echad) with Messiah. John mentions the sealing of these men—the firstfruits to YHWH and the Lamb! They have been taken to the Shamayim/Heavens to be sealed. Tom believed this would be a very special ceremony, by the way. They have their immortal bodies—their glorified, uncorrupted and incorruptible bodies, and are ONE with Yahshua. I can’t emphasize this enough–No longer is there any defilement or any lie in their mouth. No longer are they with blame—they are completely BLAMELESS—washed by the Blood of the Lamb and joined with Him!! They have been REDEEMED from the earth (Resurrected), REDEEMED from among men (Raptured), and are ready to follow the Lamb wherever He goes–which, by the way–they will NEED these anointed, sealed immortal bodies to fulfill their great purpose throughout the rest of the tribulation while the Wrath of YHWH is about to be poured out on the earth. How else could they follow Yahshua wherever He goes during such a horrendous time of judgment and coming destruction? Men’s hearts will be failing them, but not THESE men’s hearts! They are sealed (and marked) with the Name of YHWH on their foreheads—they are anointed and given the supernatural instructions of their duties that are to come. And they are getting ready to learn a NEW song—just for them! What a Set Apart/Dedicated and POWERFUL ministry they will have!! Regarding their Jewish lineage—here is a direct quote from Tom regarding the 12 Tribes and their designation as the 144,000: “YHWH reemphasized that HE knows our DNA and exactly which of the 12 Tribes the “sealed singers” are affiliated with. You are seen.” An article in Psychology Today says, “Feeling seen by others is a basic human need. Its basis is evolutionary: If your tribe didn’t see you, there was a risk you’d be left behind when the nomadic life of early humans dictated they move, and being alone equated to death. If other tribes didn’t see and respect you and your tribe, they were likely to invade your territory, take your resources, and leave you and your family to die. In the ancient part of our brains, not being seen is equivalent to being sentenced to death.” It’s a basis to justify anger and victimization. Biblically speaking, being seen is the opposite of justifying anger and victimization. It is God’s way of showing love, value and concern for His people, and being seen is a foundational precept of order within God-given liberty. At the beginning of Numbers, the LORD instructs Moses to conduct a census. Males 20 years and older were counted for an army, and each recorded by name and clan, starting with Reuben. The Levites however, were exempt from the census because their service was for the Tabernacle. The census also indicates God’s concern for each person who is known and counted by the LORD. The Hebrew term “lifting the head,” means that each head is counted and seen before God. As the book of Numbers unfolds, we see that the Israelites have not processed the message that they were to be a holy people, set apart to order their lives and obey the LORD’s precepts. In this they have freedom, perfect liberty. As a people, however, they continue to repeat their lapses in faith and disobedience to God’s word. Sound familiar? Thank the Lord that He never gives up on us. The Torah is God’s call to create a freedom that honors order, and the human freedom that comes by obedience to that challenge. Freedom necessitates the need for rule of law and accountability because humans create chaos and use it to justify their actions—often enslaving themselves to bondage, both physically and spiritually. God, however, creates order. His order is perfect liberty. It’s easy to say “nobody sees me” and let a bitter root take hold. But the LORD sees you. Scripture confirms it. In Matthew 22, we find an account of the Pharisees trying to trap Jesus because they had endless debates about which commandments were greater or lesser. Now, Jesus had just dealt with the Sadducees, the religious leaders who didn’t believe there was life beyond the grave. The Sadducees approached Jesus with a hypothetical situation. They talked about a woman who was married to a man who died. So, she married his brother, and he died. She married another of his brothers, and he died as well. On this went until she had married seven brothers, who all died. Then they asked, “So tell us, whose wife will she be in the resurrection? For all seven were married to her” (Matthew 22:28 NLT). Jesus told them, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God” (verse 29 NLT). Thus, He put them in their place and answered their question. Next, the Pharisees felt it was their turn, so they went to Jesus with this question: “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” (verse 36 NLT). The Pharisees had basically documented 613 commandments in the law and had identified 248 of those commandments as positive and 365 as negative. They knew that no one could keep all the commandments. Therefore, they had identified some commandments as heavy and other commandments as light. But breaking one commandment is enough to keep us out of Heaven. Here’s how Jesus answered the Pharisees: “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:37–40 NLT). Jesus was saying, “Instead of worrying about all the commandments and which one is worse than the other, get back to this: love God with all of your being, and everything will be sorted out.” If you love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind, then you naturally will want to do what He wants you to do. (Galilee, Israel) — The October 7th war between Israel and Hamas boils down to one city, Jerusalem. Is Jerusalem really holy to Jews, Christians, and Muslims? This question is at the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is not only a political matter but also a religious and spiritual one. Because it goes all the way back to God, let’s see what He says on the matter. In 2 Chronicles 6, verse 6, Scripture says: “But now I have chosen Jerusalem for my Name to be there, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.” In many places in the written Word of God, the Lord promised the land of Zion to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, and the Jewish people as a whole. The Jewish connection to Jerusalem runs deep in our spiritual DNA. This bond is beautifully captured in one of the most profound biblical passages for the Jewish people. Psalm 137:5-6 declares: “If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill! Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth, if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem above my highest joy!” In fact, Jews and Christians both agree that God is preparing Jerusalem as the seat for His Messiah to reign in the future Millennial Kingdom. But what about Islam’s claim on Jerusalem? Shockingly, the Quran never once mentions Jerusalem. It was only centuries later that Muslim writers began making claims about the city’s importance. Before 1967, the Muslim world placed little importance on Jerusalem. So much so that during Jordan’s control over East Jerusalem, they made no effort to declare it as their capital. Jerusalem became a major talking point for the Palestinian cause only when the Israelis named it the Unified Capital of the State of Israel. On the other hand, Jerusalem holds eternal significance for Jews and Christians as the city where God promises to one day establish His eternal kingdom, ruling over all nations. As Zechariah 14:9 declares: “The LORD will be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name the only one.” This is the real reason for the fierce battle over Jerusalem. It is a spiritual war between the true living God and those who oppose Him, whether or not they are convinced that what they are doing is in the name of God. So, whose holy city is it? Jerusalem is the holy city of the Holy One—the Holy One of Israel, that is—and He already settled this issue in the Bible. It is time we started listening to Him. Several verses of Scripture revealed that the signs would be like the birth pains of a woman who would soon deliver her baby (meaning the signs would increase in frequency and intensity as we approached the end of the age). Looking back on my early days as a student of Bible prophecy, it seemed like something major happened about once every 6 months. When asked about the signs of His Second Coming, Jesus said, “Behold the Fig Tree” (Israel), and most prophecy teachers I knew were saying the number one sign is Israel. Later, someone started teaching that we should see all the signs coming on the scene, and they called it “a convergence of the signs.” Having said this, the fulfillment of all the signs has reached the point where I feel overwhelmed by just trying to discover what has happened in the last 24 hours. I am not talking about feeling overwhelmed once every 6 months or once a week. I am talking about feeling overwhelmed every day of the week (7 days a week). The evidence is in the length of the weekly articles I write. When I first started writing, I tried to keep the articles to 4 or 5 pages (Some readers sent me e-mails saying they don’t read long articles). My articles are now up to about 9 pages, and I assume that some readers may not read the entire article because of its length (this one is about 10, and I apologize). Please realize that the length is partly the result of the prophetic signs being like birth pains. Think about this: Jesus told us to “Behold the Fig Tree” (Israel), and my daily update has contained something about Israel every day for more than 240 consecutive days. I suspect that Israel makes the news almost every day in many nations. In addition to that, leaders in the UN, EU, Arabs, and others have met to discuss Israel several times, and Israel (one of the tiniest nations on earth) has received a representative or representatives from somewhere on earth almost every day that goes by. We have never seen a time like this. Here are some current events that seem to relate to Bible prophecy. One, concerning wickedness and corruption at the end of the age: on May 30, 2024, it was reported that Palestinian documents that Israel captured from Hamas in Gaza show that Hamas stole $108 million from Palestinian banks and their branches in April of 2024. Armed groups of Hamas terrorists entered banks, emptied vaults, robbed branches, and used the money to finance their terrorist activities. (My opinion: Some of that money probably came from the U.S.; this is not the first time there have been reports that Hamas robs banks. The Biden administration knows about it, but Biden continues to send money to the Palestinians and support Hamas.) (More: An Israeli soldier said Israeli troops have found Yahya Sinwar’s main hideout in a tunnel with offices, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, lots of specialty foods, and millions of dollars in cash.) Two, concerning the loss of jobs, higher energy prices, inflation, the decline of America, etc.: on May 21, 2024, it was reported that the Biden administration’s Bureau of Land Management released a series of new regulations that will make it impossible to mine for coal, drill for oil, or drill for natural gas on millions of acres of federal lands. The head of the American Coal Council said America is committing national suicide in pursuit of a fairy tale (green energy that does not meet our needs). Three, concerning an economic collapse: on May 30, 2024, it was reported that Dr. Vernon Coleman (author of hundreds of articles and more than 100 books that have been translated into 22 languages) said neither the Labour Party nor the Conservative Party wants to win the upcoming UK General election because the UK government has run out of money, the economy is going to collapse, neither party wants to be blamed for it, and both prefer that the other party be in charge. Four, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on May 30, 2024, it was reported that the Biden administration secretly gave permission to Ukraine to attack targets inside Russia with U.S. weapons. (More: On May 30, 2024, Russia warned that its threats to use tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine are not a bluff.) (More: On June 3, 2024, a Russian official said the U.S. could face “fatal consequences” for providing Ukraine with U.S. weapons to strike targets on Russian soil.) Five, concerning world government and persecution, Tedros Ghebreyesus (director general of the World Health Organization – WHO) recently said:
Many reports by reputable scientists and experts have confirmed that the COVID vaccinations were dangerous, ineffective, caused heart problems, caused fertility problems, caused death rates to increase, and caused autism to increase. It has been proven that some of the vaccines were contaminated. Dr. Fauci (head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – NIAID) has admitted that he didn’t have scientific data for some of the protocols he “made up” (social distancing, wearing a mask, etc.). And now the head of the WHO (a UN group) wants to really “push back” on people who opposed the contaminated, death-causing, ineffective vaccinations. (My opinion: Empowering globalist groups to force their “made up” protocols on everyone on earth will lead to extreme persecution, tyranny, and oppression.) The WHO could prevent any nation or individual from doing anything the WHO didn’t want them to do. The WHO could require medical treatments, vaccinations, masks, quarantines, passport restrictions, social distancing, etc. And don’t overlook this: the WHO violated the rules to ram through the IHRs. If they were willing to violate the rules before the IHRs passed, what should we expect if they want to violate the rules after they have more power? What if they want to assassinate the unvaccinated, etc? Nine, concerning a worthless peace treaty in the Middle East that causes people to declare peace and safety and bring sudden destruction (the Tribulation Period) upon the world: on June 3, 2024, a group of so-called UN experts urged all nations to recognize a Palestinian state to ensure peace in the Middle East. According to them, “This is a pre-condition for lasting peace in Palestine and the entire Middle East – beginning with the immediate declaration of a ceasefire in Gaza and no further military incursions into Rafah.” (My question: Why didn’t the so-called experts include no further military attacks on Israel?) Ten, concerning wars and rumors of war: on June 3, 2024, it was reported that Hezbollah in Lebanon attacked Israel 238 times in April and 325 times in May – 563 times in 61 days. (More: The head of Israel’s military told troops the need to deal with Hezbollah has become more acute, and a decision on whether to go to war or not is near.) They threatened to leave Netanyahu’s government and cause it to collapse if he agrees to the ceasefire that Biden wrongly said Israel agreed to. Netanyahu said there can be no permanent ceasefire in Gaza until Hamas and its governing capabilities are destroyed. Twelve, concerning a worthless peace treaty in the Middle East: on June 3, 2024, the Biden administration’s ambassador to the UN introduced a bill in the UN Security Council to impose a ceasefire and hostage release in Gaza. Biden called the bill “Israel’s Proposal,” but Israel is disputing it. Netanyahu said Biden has conveniently overlooked Israel’s goal of defeating Hamas. He said Israel didn’t agree to end the war. Israel only agreed to discuss an end to the war, and Israel would only discuss it after the hostages are released. (My question: Has Biden instructed the U.S. ambassador to the UN to lie to the Security Council? Does he have dementia? What is going on here?) Thirteen, concerning deceit, world government, and a borderless world: on June 4, 2024, after letting about 11 million illegal immigrants into the U.S. and with an election coming up in about 5 months, Pres. Biden issued an executive order that he said would do what Republicans have refused to do: secure the border. Texas Governor Abbott said: Since his first day in office, President Biden dismantled all of his predecessor’s successful border policies, encouraging millions of illegal immigrants – including dangerous criminals and terrorists – into our country. For three years, the President has lied about the existence of the border crisis, deflected blame to Congress, and now contradicts himself by issuing a feckless (worthless) executive order months before Election Day. (My question: Pres. Biden has often claimed that our border is secure. If he was telling the truth, why do we need an executive order to secure the border?) A U.S. official said it is not a done deal yet, but it is more or less complete. About 2-3 weeks ago, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham indicated he is willing to support many of these things, but the Palestinian Authority must be reformed, and Hamas must be defeated. Israel is clearly opposed to the creation of a Palestinian state. (1 Thessalonians 5:3) As I say, my perplexity has stemmed from the context. This is a follow-up passage from the Apostle Paul’s further revelation on the mystery about the Rapture: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:16–18) For me, the disconnect came from my long-thought belief that there will be, following the disappearance of millions of believers, a collapse–a meltdown—of human interaction on a global scale. Chaos would immediately follow this staggering event, but it would, I believed, be a more-or-less controlled chaos; the cry for peace and safety would be like a growing worldwide emotional breakdown and financial, societal, and cultural collapse that would cause people to beg for somebody to fix it all. Antichrist would be willing and able to step up, and the panicked people would readily accept the back-to-normal promises he offered, giving him growing control over the nations. But why, then, the term “sudden destruction”? It smacks of instant devastation, not of slow or even rapid collapse into chaos and dystopian existence for the world of left-behind people. The realization strikes that “peace and safety” seems to connote something far deeper than freedom from chaos and disorder from financial catastrophe and the breakdown of law and order. It indicates, I am convicted, a desperate desire for a preservation of life itself, not just a call for restoration to something akin to normalcy. I have long held, as anyone who has followed my commentaries knows, that Jesus Himself told of the exact circumstances in which this generation now finds us. His “days of Noah, days of Lot” prophecy found in the Matthew chapter 24 Olivet Discourse and again in Luke 17:26–28, says it will be business as usual right until the moment believers are taken to be with Him in the clouds of Glory. It will be just like it was in the time of Lot in Sodom. The very day Lot was taken by the angels out of the wicked city, the town and its sister town of Gomorrah were totally, and I mean totally, destroyed. As a matter of fact, those excavating the area today are just beginning to uncover just how total the destruction was in that judgment. My puzzlement was always that Jesus indicated it will be just like that when believers are taken to Heaven. Destruction of the sort Sodom experienced, He said, will fall that very day. How, then, could there be this slow collapse into societal and cultural dystopia that could take weeks, months, or longer? Sodom and Gomorrah were instantly destroyed in a deluge of fire and brimstone–devastation that might have been similar to the nuclear devastation such weaponry can inflict today. All we must do to see the potential for nuclear conflict is to read the news. One report leaves little doubt the potential for Sodom-like destruction can be easily dealt by the hand of humankind, without even the need for wrath directly from Heaven. More and more European officials and NATO countries are on board with allowing Ukraine to use Western-supplied weapons to strike deep inside Russian territory. Among the latest to speak openly about this are NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, EU foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell, and the government of Sweden, which is the NATO alliance’s newest member state. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday issued one of his more dire warnings yet, putting Europe on notice by commenting on their possessing small land areas and dense populations. The veiled threat is very ominous especially in light of the fact that Russia just wrapped up tactical nuclear drills near Ukraine. (“Putin Threatens West’s ‘Dense Populations’ In ‘Small Land Masses’ In Response To NATO Escalation,” ZeroHedge, May 29, 2024) With nuclear weaponry in the hands of leaders who are more and more threatening to use them, it’s a wonder the nuclear genie hasn’t escaped the bottle. It is indeed amazing that a nuclear weapon hasn’t been accidentally discharged; there are accounts of massive hydrogen bombs that have come within a hair’s breadth of accidentally exploding. The fact is, I have no doubt, the staying hand of Almighty God has prevented such disaster. He continues to restrain nuclear and all other sorts of satanic evil from being unleashed. He has, as promised in Psalm 2, had the diabolists of this judgment-bound world in “derision”–intervening to disrupt the devil’s plans to bring on yet another world war. But God’s patience is not without limits. There is coming a time when, like with Lot‘s case, He will call believers from the planet’s surface and into Jesus’ loving arms. You want to go to Christ when He shouts, “Come up here!” You will be forever safe in God’s family, saved from the sudden destruction taking place on earth. Here is how to make sure you go in the Rapture, which will happen at any moment. He held onto it, studied it, talked to the Father endlessly about it, and he received much revelation about it through the indwelling Ruach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) over a period of many years. Tom is Home with His King now, and I’m writing this simple Truth in article form, prompted by the Father’s Spirit, because of the great, great deal of confusion that I have seen recently about this topic. I believe this to be 100% Truth, according to the Father’s Word. I urge you to pray first, ask the Father to reveal His Truth, and read this testimony of Tom’s with no preconceived notions. I’ll begin with a quote from Tom that is most appropriate for this revelation. “It goes to show that it can be, and always has been right before our eyes, but does not come to Light until Yahshua reveals it.” –Tom Blackmon, March 2017 Tom was given much in-depth detail as to who these “sealed singers,” as he liked to call them, are. Tom was a talented musician, a devoted student of the Father’s Word, and a man with a deep, unwavering love for the Jewish people and for our King, Jesus the Christ–Yahshua ha’Mashiach. One of the most spiritual men I’ve ever known, the Father gave Tom numerous “Mind-to-mind” details of the 144,000 over a period of many years. I’m going to try, with the Father’s help, to keep it as simple as I can, using mostly emails that Tom sent me over the 10+ years I had the privilege of knowing him. Tom reached out to me through Rapture Ready a decade ago when I was submitting my own amateur and novice articles. His first words to me were, “I just want to bear some fruit before I die.” That definitely caught my attention, and I can assure you, he DID bear much fruit for the Kingdom! He was a fisher of men!! I am also forever grateful to my wonderful and dedicated brother in Christ, Terry James, for being a committed leader in the prophetic details of Scripture and for helping me grow in my walk over the years. First—let’s identify some of the most important Scriptural characteristics of the 144,000.
Those are some of the key details that we need to keep in mind. Now let’s look at Revelation Chapters 7 and 14, which talk about the 144,000, and which is where we get these characteristics. Next, in verse 2, we see another messenger ASCENDING or COMING UP FROM the rising of the sun, holding the Seal of the Living God. This messenger cries with a LOUD VOICE to the four messengers who are holding the wind (spirits) back that will harm the earth and the sea. This messenger cries back to them (in a loud voice) not to harm the earth, sea, or trees “until we have SEALED the servants of our Elohim on their foreheads.” The next few verses detail the 144,000 that are sealed from all of the Tribes of the children of Yisra’el, 12,000 from each Tribe. I have emphasized a couple of key things here. We see the messenger is ASCENDING with the seal. Why is he ascending? There’s a simple answer!! Because the 144,000 are IN HEAVEN! The Resurrected saints in Messiah AND the Raptured saints are now in Heaven, and the 144,000 are waiting to be sealed!! Yes—many of the 144,000—perhaps MOST of them, will come from the dead in Mashiach of ALL TIME! They have now become changed—transformed—united with our King and are classified with all the attributes given to them in Revelation Chapter 14! There is no possible way for any living human being to have the qualifications of the 144,000 without being resurrected/translated—they HAVE to have been transformed into new beings—there is simply no other way to be undefiled, without lie and without blame, unless they are joined to our Savior, Who will lead them in their coming mission back on earth. Let’s examine how these “classifications” fit now that they are ONE (Echad) with Messiah. John mentions the sealing of these men—the firstfruits to YHWH and the Lamb! They have been taken to the Shamayim/Heavens to be sealed. Tom believed this would be a very special ceremony, by the way. They have their immortal bodies—their glorified, uncorrupted and incorruptible bodies, and are ONE with Yahshua. I can’t emphasize this enough–No longer is there any defilement or any lie in their mouth. No longer are they with blame—they are completely BLAMELESS—washed by the Blood of the Lamb and joined with Him!! They have been REDEEMED from the earth (Resurrected), REDEEMED from among men (Raptured), and are ready to follow the Lamb wherever He goes–which, by the way–they will NEED these anointed, sealed immortal bodies to fulfill their great purpose throughout the rest of the tribulation while the Wrath of YHWH is about to be poured out on the earth. How else could they follow Yahshua wherever He goes during such a horrendous time of judgment and coming destruction? Men’s hearts will be failing them, but not THESE men’s hearts! They are sealed (and marked) with the Name of YHWH on their foreheads—they are anointed and given the supernatural instructions of their duties that are to come. And they are getting ready to learn a NEW song—just for them! What a Set Apart/Dedicated and POWERFUL ministry they will have!! Regarding their Jewish lineage—here is a direct quote from Tom regarding the 12 Tribes and their designation as the 144,000: “YHWH reemphasized that HE knows our DNA and exactly which of the 12 Tribes the “sealed singers” are affiliated with. He revealed to me (Mind to mind) that this was more of a subject of Israel (spiritual) than tradition (Jewish). He implied that, unfortunately, most of the ones who called themselves ‘Jews’ were, in fact, a mirror image of ‘carnal Christians.’ They have a knowledge of Him but don’t ‘know’ Him. The 144,000 will know Him intimately as they are now ONE with their Master, and they will carry out their ministering of the Gospel as per the direct Instructions of Yahshua ha’Mashiach. He will show them exactly where to go!” I’ll close the “revelation” of this amazing Truth by quoting what my beloved friend and brother, Tom Blackmon, said to me years ago. He began to have this information revealed to him in the 1980s, with more forthcoming over the years. When I met him through Rapture Ready years ago, I was a prophecy buff but not a very learned one–and bless his heart–Tom spent most every email to me, leading me along to learn the deeper things—encouraging me to learn some of the Father’s Language, prompting me to wash in the Father’s Word daily, and guiding me to learn to listen for the Father’s Voice. He talked often about the 144,000, and most times, it sailed right over my head. Then, one day, Tom’s revelation about the 144,000 finally CLICKED with me, and I got it! Obviously, this was the Father’s doing—I had nothing to do with it. I emailed Tom and told him that very moment that I understood! Here was his reply to me, and I will finish with this: “My dear sister–You’ll never know what the Father confirming to you about His revealing to me, the beautiful Truth of the 144,000, means to me. Can you imagine having had this understanding since the 1980s and basically no one to share it with, and moreover, to wait, wait, wait? Then to have an additional understanding that many of the 144,000 will come from all eras of the church history—that part of the 144,000 are indeed the dead in Messiah Yahshua!! Imagine how much practice they’ve had (with their singing)!! Also, it just makes sense that Yahshua/Jesus would fill the earth with immortal singing servants to reel in all that would come to Him. The devil is going to be unrestrained at that time. Why not YHWH? YHWH will not hold one thing back in bringing Home EVERY LAST SHEEP!” Daily Jot: Are you seen? - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Almost everywhere you turn these days, somebody is whining about whether they are being “seen.” Woke culture makes sure it tells people “I see you. You are seen.” An article in Psychology Today says, “Feeling seen by others is a basic human need. Its basis is evolutionary: If your tribe didn’t see you, there was a risk you’d be left behind when the nomadic life of early humans dictated they move, and being alone equated to death. If other tribes didn’t see and respect you and your tribe, they were likely to invade your territory, take your resources, and leave you and your family to die. In the ancient part of our brains, not being seen is equivalent to being sentenced to death.” It’s a basis to justify anger and victimization. Biblically speaking, being seen is the opposite of justifying anger and victimization. It is God’s way of showing love, value and concern for His people, and being seen is a foundational precept of order within God-given liberty. At the beginning of Numbers, the LORD instructs Moses to conduct a census. Males 20 years and older were counted for an army, and each recorded by name and clan, starting with Reuben. The Levites however, were exempt from the census because their service was for the Tabernacle. The census also indicates God’s concern for each person who is known and counted by the LORD. The Hebrew term “lifting the head,” means that each head is counted and seen before God. As the book of Numbers unfolds, we see that the Israelites have not processed the message that they were to be a holy people, set apart to order their lives and obey the LORD’s precepts. In this they have freedom, perfect liberty. As a people, however, they continue to repeat their lapses in faith and disobedience to God’s word. Sound familiar? Thank the Lord that He never gives up on us. The Torah is God’s call to create a freedom that honors order, and the human freedom that comes by obedience to that challenge. Freedom necessitates the need for rule of law and accountability because humans create chaos and use it to justify their actions—often enslaving themselves to bondage, both physically and spiritually. God, however, creates order. His order is perfect liberty. It’s easy to say “nobody sees me” and let a bitter root take hold. But the LORD sees you. Scripture confirms it. Jeremiah 12:3 says, “But You know me, O LORD; You see me and test my heart toward You.” Psalm 33:18 says, “Surely the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His loving devotion.” Proverbs 15:3 says, “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.” In Christ, you have no reason to feel abandoned, left behind, unseen. You are sentenced to life and life more abundantly. Galatians 5:1 says, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Anger and victimization are bondage. More than anybody on earth, God sees you. He hears you. He loves you. How much greater than the world seeing you is the Creator of that world watching over you? But we should not let our hearts tell us what to do, because our hearts can mislead us. Jeremiah 17:9 says, “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?” (NLT). And Jesus said, “For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander” (Matthew 15:19 NLT). Yes, the heart wants what it wants, but a lot of times the heart wants the wrong things. Therefore, we should not focus on our hearts as much as we ought to focus our hearts on God. Jesus tells us to use our hearts, as well as our minds and our souls, for the purpose that God created them. In Matthew 22, we find an account of the Pharisees trying to trap Jesus because they had endless debates about which commandments were greater or lesser. Now, Jesus had just dealt with the Sadducees, the religious leaders who didn’t believe there was life beyond the grave. The Sadducees approached Jesus with a hypothetical situation. They talked about a woman who was married to a man who died. So, she married his brother, and he died. She married another of his brothers, and he died as well. On this went until she had married seven brothers, who all died. Then they asked, “So tell us, whose wife will she be in the resurrection? For all seven were married to her” (Matthew 22:28 NLT). Jesus told them, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God” (verse 29 NLT). Thus, He put them in their place and answered their question. Next, the Pharisees felt it was their turn, so they went to Jesus with this question: “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” (verse 36 NLT). The Pharisees had basically documented 613 commandments in the law and had identified 248 of those commandments as positive and 365 as negative. They knew that no one could keep all the commandments. Therefore, they had identified some commandments as heavy and other commandments as light. But breaking one commandment is enough to keep us out of Heaven. Here’s how Jesus answered the Pharisees: “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:37–40 NLT). Jesus was saying, “Instead of worrying about all the commandments and which one is worse than the other, get back to this: love God with all of your being, and everything will be sorted out.” If you love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind, then you naturally will want to do what He wants you to do.
