Israel...at War - By Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com/ww-10-8-2023/
The great earthquake of the Ezekiel 38 war has NOT begun. But we are in the midst of a major foreshock. In the last few hours, Hamas fired thousands of missiles from Gaza into Israel. They targeted Israeli civilians. Hamas soldiers broke through checkpoints and bulldozed parts of the border fence. Their army attacked Israeli neighborhoods in border towns, randomly killing and randomly taking hostages. But this did not originate with Hamas. A peace agreement with Saudi Arabia seemed close just a few days ago. But the Saudis cannot make peace with Israel now because they cannot seem to be taking the side of Jews against Muslims. The reason Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations have been willing to cooperate with Israel is their common enemy, Iran. So, who benefits with peace set aside? Iran. This attack was planned, funded, and equipped by Iran. That’s why I consider it a precursor to the war prophesied in Ezekiel 38 and 39 — a war led by Russia and Iran. And make no mistake, Russia is tied to this. Just last month, Iran’s Minister of Defense said, “Russia and Iran have significantly broadened the range of their cooperation over the past few years. In particular, I would like to note regional affairs, such as the joint war on terrorism and extremism.” How is that for ironic? These are the words of the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. If you find it hard to believe that the orders came from Iran, consider this. A few days before the attack began, a billboard went up in Iran’s capital city of Tehran. The billboard says, “The liberation operation ‘Storming of Al-Aqsa’ has started.” Al-Aqsa refers to the oldest mosque on the Temple Mount. It irks Iran’s mullahs that Jews have ultimate jurisdiction over what Islam claims to be its third holiest site. Shortly after the attack, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard posted on X (previously Twitter), “We Told You We Would Come for You.” That’s a terrorist organization taking credit for its work! And this is definitely a war of terror. These people are shooting schoolgirls on the streets. They are kidnapping whole families including children and the elderly. Their missiles target civilian neighborhoods and other civilian locations with no connection to the military. These are terrorists fighting a war of terror! Israel has been standing as a buffer between us and radical Islamic terrorists for decades. If Israel doesn’t stop them now, Iranian terror will continue to spread in the Middle East and around the world. Never forget that Iran considers Israel the little Satan and the United States the big Satan. We are a target, too. And, ironically, we are helping to fund these attacks on our friends and eventually on ourselves. We keep releasing money to Iran and Iran keeps using it in its campaign of terror around the world. After the attack began, the US State Department’s Office for Palestinian Affairs put up a post on Twitter urging all sides to “refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks.” After receiving heavy criticism, they removed the tweet. But their knee-jerk reaction was that Israel should allow their citizens to be pummeled without responding. That shows the kind of thinking in the State Department’s entrenched bureaucracy, also known as the deep state. The Palestinian attack has been especially egregious, easily qualifying as a series of horrible war crimes. How will the world respond? And how will you respond? Christians should remember that this did not catch God by surprise. His plan continues. He’s taking care of you, and His offer of salvation remains open to everyone. Is The Attack on Israel by Hamas, Setting Up for The Fulfillment of Bible Prophecy? - https://harbingersdaily.com/is-the-attack-on-israel-by-hamas-setting-up-for-the-fulfillment-of-bible-prophecy/ I woke up Saturday morning and was shocked to read the headline, “Israel is at war.” This is near the anniversary of the last time Israel was officially at war, in 1973, when she was attacked by Egypt, Syria, and others. But this was a different kind of war. Thousands of rockets rained on Israel from multiple directions. Hamas gunmen invaded by land, sea, and sky, and hundreds of people were murdered and kidnapped. They were using what we might describe as ISIS-like methods. They specifically targeted young women and young children. They launched massive, indiscriminate rocket fire toward civilian population centers, as well as terrorist infiltration of cities and settlements close to the Gaza border. They went home to home, door to door, looking for the young and the elderly. Some of the women they took as hostages were survivors of the Holocaust. When it’s all said and done, this number tragically will only get larger. There are 700 dead and over 2,000 wounded. This is without precedent, causing the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, to say they are now at war. Who is Hamas? They’re a terrorist organization funded by Iran. That’s not a secret. In fact, a PR person from Hamas stated that this was funded by Iran. This is something that’s an established fact. Iran has long stated their objective, which is to destroy Israel. An Iranian leader celebrated the attacks, putting out this message: “We will stand by the Palestinian fighters until the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem is completed.” Iran has also signaled that they are developing a nuclear weapon. In the past, they have threatened to, in their own verbiage, wipe Israel off the face of the map. One leader of Iran said, “Is it possible for us to witness a world without America and Zionism? But you had best know that this slogan and this goal are altogether attainable, and surely can be achieved. This regime that is occupying Jerusalem must be wiped from the map.” It’s interesting how it always comes back to Jerusalem. The Bible predicted 1000s of years ago that the end-times events would revolve around Jerusalem. Not Irvine. Not Los Angeles. Not Moscow. Not Paris. Jerusalem, this tiny little city, this tiny sliver of land, will play a key role in the events of the last days. It’s a focal point of end-times events. In Zechariah 12:2-3, God says, “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” The irony of all of this is that the Biden administration just gave $6 billion to Iran. What a bad move it is to give any money to a nation that sponsors terrorism around the world. But here’s where it gets interesting for students of Bible prophecy. The Bible tells us in the end times that Israel would be scattered and re-gathered. This has happened. You want to talk about signs of the times; the super sign of the last days, the sign that sets the prophetic clock ticking is the regathering of the nation of Israel into its homeland. It happened on the heels of the Holocaust. Who would have ever thought that these Jewish people, who lost 6 million of their people to the Nazis, would somehow regather in their homeland, but it happened against all odds. On May 14th, 1948, Israel became a nation. The United States was the first nation to acknowledge the State of Israel. In Ezekiel 37 and 38, the Bible speaks of the regathering of Israel, and then it speaks of a large force from her north attacking her. That force is identified as being led by Magog. Who is Magog? No one can say with absolute certainty. But many, many Bible students and prophecy teachers believe it’s modern-day Russia. I think you can make a very good case for that. On a map of the Middle East, look to the north of Israel, and you will find Russia. Why would Russia ever want to invade Israel? Well, there’s another thing that the Bible says about Magog: one of the allies that will march with her is Persia, the ancient name for modern Iran. The Bible predicted this thousands of years ago. It’s only recently that the Iranians and the Russians have developed a special connection. Not once in the past 2,500 years has Russia formed a military alliance with Iran, but they have now signed a billion-dollar accord for the sale of missiles, and the Iranians have helped the Russians by providing them with weaponized drones to use in the Ukraine war. How do you stop something like what is happening in Israel? Some hostages are women, little children, and soldiers. It’s very tricky. Let’s just say, for the sake of a point, if they decided to strike at Iran, specifically because of their funding of this attack, what would that produce? It could produce the conflict we read about in Ezekiel. I’m not saying this is going to lead to the Ezekiel 38 scenario, but I’m saying it’s very interesting. If you get up in the morning and read this headline, “Russia attacks Israel,” fasten your seat belt. You’re seeing Bible prophecy fulfilled in your lifetime, in real-time, before your very eyes. What should we do in light of all of this? Did Jesus say, When you see these things begin to happen, freak out because you’re dead in the water? He didn’t say that. Jesus said, “When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh” (Luke 21:28). I’m going to ask you to join me in prayer. The Bible tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We want to pray that they arrive at some kind of peace. We want to pray that this horrific terrorism stops and that they’re able to get their hostages back. Even then, that is not going to replace the hundreds of lives that were lost in this unprecedented attack. Prophecy Update Videos Must Watch Videos! Videos You Can Trust

Every major news organization is covering current developments going on in Israel and we will do our best to include stories and links to the most important developments. We have been blessed to develop many friendships and associations with people and organizations on the ground in Israel and hope to bring you stories from those living through the current situation so that you can receive first hand information. Much of this information will change rapidly and our updates may be more frequent or at different times of the day to keep you informed on new developments. While the mainstream news is analyzing the geopolitical realties on the ground we also plan to bring you a prophetic perspective on what is happening. How do such events tie in with God's Word about Israel and the end times? How will the involvement of other nations such as Lebanon, Jordan, Iran, Russia, the United States as well as the United Nations impact the prophetic picture? While we are still in the early days of analyzing how all of this will play out in the bigger picture we believe there are several prophetic themes to be watching at this time. One of those that we believe every person should familiarize themselves with is the potential impact of the Psalm 83 war. The Psalm 83 War In Psalm 83 Asaph petitions the Lord about about a confederacy of nations that will rise up against Israel. There are many prophetic scholars who argue that this event is a reference to a future event and not something that has happened in the past. If this perspective is right then Israel will find itself in another multifront war against several nations and groups of people in the Middle East. Those groups include not only the Palestinians/Hamas/Islamic Jihad but also Hezbollah/Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Syria. Many people are familiar with the war of Gog/Magog found in Ezekiel 38 which involves Iran, Turkey and Russia invading Israel. However where are Israel's other traditional enemies? None of those named in Psalm 83 confederation are included in the Ezekiel 38 Gog/Magog Confederacy. Many prophetic scholars believe the Psalm 83 war will precede the Magog Invasion and result in Israel defeating many of it's neighboring countries, acquiring expanded territory and then proceeding to dwell safely in the Land (for a time). In essence the Psalm 83 war sets the stage for the Magog Invasion. We are already hearing intelligence reports that the Hamas attack had the support of Iranian and Russian intelligence. Will the current conflict with Hamas expand to include other nations and if so, will this set the stage for this prophetic battle of Psalm 83? We encourage you to watch below Prophecy expert Bill Salus give an interview on the background to the Psalm 83 War and what might be coming next in the Middle East. WATCH: https://youtu.be/bvatAvvJjRQ?si=Z4JUdoyigV4e9nA3 Israel Declares A State of War on the Last Day of the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) – A.V. Rauf - https://bibleprophecyfortoday.com/2023/10/08/israel-declares-a-state-of-war-on-the-last-day-of-the-feast-of-tabernacles-sukkot/ In the previous post I discussed about the importance of peace in the Middle East and how the Bible even calls for us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem according to Psalm 122:6: Psalm 122:6–Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. I mentioned in the previous post that Bible prophecy envisions peace in the region in two stages. First, there will be a false peace engineered by a false messiah. Ultimately, the world will witness an even greater and everlasting peace between nations at the return of Jesus Christ as mentioned earlier. The Prophet Zechariah in the Old Testament prophesied the Jerusalem would become focal point in International affairs that would impact the entire world in the last days: Zechariah 12:2-3–“Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. As of this writing, Hamas fired thousands of rockets into Israel and Hamas soldiers infiltrated numerous areas of the Israel-Gaza border and captured several border towns. Hamas fighters went into Israeli homes and slaughtered Israeli citizens while they slept and took other Israelis hostage . Reports from the first day of this onslaught are confirming over 300 casualties, over 1500 people injured many critically. As a result, Israel has declared war on Hamas and has killed over 190 Hamas fighters in a limited counterattack. The Israeli Defense Forces have launched ‘Operation Swords of Iron‘ to strike back against Hamas and are striking Hamas strongholds from the air and sea and are preparing for a land invasion, thus, neutralization of ALL Gaza terrorist organizations is highly likely. All parts of Israel within a 50 Mile radius of Gaza and the entirety of Gaza itself have been designated as a “special military zone” by the Israeli Defense Force. As contingency plans have gone into full execution, this would also be inclusive of the Lebanon and Syria frontiers as well as Judea and Samaria. HAMAS has called upon its allies in Judaea & Samaria and all Arab and Islamic nations to joining in on this war against Israel. It is being reported that Hezbollah stated that it supports HAMAS war and it is highly anticipated they they too will join in against Israel. This can escalate to a full blown Middle East War if Iran ends up joining the fray. Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s top military adviser said Tehran supported the attacks by Hamas against Israel and would continue to back the Islamist fighters “until the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem.” so if Hezbollah (which is in Lebanon) joins the war, as well as Jordan and Iran through its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.(By the way, The IRGC-QF has between 5,000 and 15,000 personnel, handpicked from the broader IRGC for their competency and allegiance to the regime) this could very well turn lead to the prophetic fulfillment of Psalm 83: Psalm 83: Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah. 9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth. It also bears mentioning that this took place on the last day of the Jewish Feast of Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles. The first mention of the Feast of Tabernacles in the Bible comes from God as delivered to Moses on Mt. Sinai. In Exodus 23:16, God commands the Children of Israel, through their prophet, to celebrate a special feast of “harvest” or “ingathering.” Later in 23rd chapter of the Book of Leviticus, we learn that the feast should be celebrated in the seventh month, during the autumn season near the end of the year. But of greater significance is the fact that the Feast of the Tabernacles was a celebration of all that God had done to lead and protect his people from freeing them from their bondage in Egypt, to guiding and protecting and providing for them during their 40 years of wandering in the wilderness. So Israel was caught off guard during their national day of Sabbath and in celebrating this Feast. Now in the New Testament, It was during the Feast of Tabernacles, in reference to the ceremony of pouring water into the silver basin, that Jesus publicly proclaimed His divinity and His mission. In John 7:37-39 we read the following: John 7:37-39–In the last day, that great day of the feast (Feast of Tabernacles), Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) The Bible teaches a future role for the Feast of Tabernacles in the plan of God. Zechariah 12–14 tells of the final, climactic battle of the nations of the world against the nation of Israel. All the people of the earth will come against Jerusalem in battle. Zechariah 14:1-9 —–Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst. 2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. 4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south. 5 Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you fled from the earthquake In the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the Lord my God will come, And all the saints with You. 6 It shall come to pass in that day That there will be no light; The lights will diminish. 7 It shall be one day Which is known to the Lord— Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen That it will be light. 8 And in that day it shall be That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur. 9 And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be— “The Lord is one,” And His name one. Once again to put it into simplest terms, when the LORD comes and removes the faithful Church and unleashes His wrath on this earth and on the kingdom of AntiChrist, He will be intervening in the strategic conflict against the nation of Israel. This is the Day of the LORD. It is now very obvious to discern what is about to take place in the Middle East. After Christ’s Second Coming and at the conclusion of the Tribulation period (aka The Time of Jacob’s Trouble), in Zechariah Chapter 14 it is mentioned four times that the nations of the world will then be required to go up to Jerusalem to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. Zechariah 14:10-19–All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. Remember that the time of Jacob’s trouble is the exact same event Jesus Himself mentioned in Matthew 24 where He prophesies about the coming time of great tribulation that will target the entire world in general, and the Jews in particular. Matthew 24:20-21–But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Historically, Israel was destroyed in 70 AD, and the Jews were scattered across the nations according to Bible prophecy. In 1948, they were miraculously regathered in exactly the same place from which they were dispersed. But their regathering was a physical one, not a spiritual one and there has been a mass “Aaliya,“or return of Jews from the Northern , Southern, & Eastern parts of the world. Now Jews from the West have been returning to Israel in massive numbers. God’s covenant with Israel and the Jews is eternal, just like His covenant with the Church is eternal and it cannot be broken, and God is not going to leave them in their fallen condition. The time of Jacob’s trouble is going to be the means by which He restores His chosen people back to a right relationship to Himself. Hosea 5:15-–I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. As for this current war with HAMAS, how severe the retaliation from Israel will be this time remains to be seen. Whether or not other parties join in on this also remains to be seen. Ultimately, how the nations react to Israel’s retaliation when this is all said and done also remains to be seen. And on a final note, whether we as the Church are at the cusp of bringing in the “FINAL HARVEST,” beginning on this last day of the Feasts of Tabernacles also remains to be seen. Buckle your seatbelts, because the remainder of 2023 looks to be very interesting! Globalists open second front in World War III: Attack on Israel activates ‘zero hour’ around the world, and America is not immune – Leo Hohmann - https://leohohmann.com/2023/10/08/globalists-open-second-front-in-world-war-iii-attack-on-israel-activates-zero-hour-around-the-world-and-america-is-not-immune/ In the realm of geopolitical events, things are almost never as they appear. The messaging being sent by the media is no longer mere “news.” What we receive from them are carefully crafted narratives meant to advance certain agendas. The same event, in fact, can carry multiple narratives often diametrically opposed to each other because the narratives are tailored to specific audiences and loaded with explosive words and images meant to trigger emotions in those audiences depending on their prior conditioning. And the devastating attack on Israel Friday night was no exception. The “what” cannot be debated – over 600 Israeli citizens were slaughtered and more than 2,000 injured in a brazen and brutal attack by Hamas terrorists. More than 100 other Israelis, including an Israeli military general, were captured and are being held as hostages. But the “why” and the “how” – as in why now and how did they get away with it – will be less understood by the average American who’s more interested in who wins the Packers’ game this Sunday or how long Taylor Swift will retain her latest boyfriend. While few realize it, what happened in Israel on the night of Friday, October 6, is an earthquake in terms of the impact on global stability, mostly because of the timing. The events of October 6 cannot be analyzed and properly understood separate from all that has been going on over the last 18 months between the US/NATO and their vassal states and Russia/China and their vassal states. The attack on Israel (a vassal state of the US/NATO) by Hamas (a vassal state of Iran which is a vassal state of Russia/China) opens up a second front in the escalating World War III scenario being advanced by the globalists for reasons I’ve provided in previous articles, the most recent of which was posted September 25 as “The Four D’s of Digitization, Dehumanization, Destruction and Depopulation.” Ukrainian President Zelensky has already come out with a statement in support of Israel while implying that Russia was responsible for the Hamas attack. We don’t know if that’s true but Zelensky said it so that makes it true for the faction of people who believe Ukraine’s war with Russia is completely just and defensive in nature. The media tells us that Hamas launched a sneak attack on Israel and caught the IDF napping. Excuse me, but there is simply no way the Israeli Defense Forces – the most technologically modern, most adept, most highly trained security force in the world – did not see this attack coming. For them to be caught off guard is inconceivable. We’re told they were totally surprised. Even on the 50th anniversary of the last massive attack on Israel, the Yom Kippur War of October 7, 1973, they were not prepared for an attack from their arch enemy? They left their border unmanned and unprotected, and it was breached in 29 different places, including in some areas right next to an international music festival where tourists from other countries were partying literally within yards of a dangerous Gaza border? Please. I’m not buying it. Nor is former IDF intelligence officer Efrat Fenigson buying into this narrative. Watch what she has to say in a post to the platform X. https://x.com/marcfriedrich7/status/1710752764039397487?s=20 Let this be an object lesson for all of us, in America and elsewhere. In my book, Stealth Invasion, I referred to Muslim Brotherhood documents which prophesied about a “zero-hour event.” Zero hour can be any event that sets off panic and chaos among the masses, and at this point the Islamic terrorists all join hands to attack the infidel, whether that be Jews in Israel or Christians in the West. All the terror cells get activated. Since around 1990, the United States has imported more than 3 million Muslims to America, mostly through legal channels associated with the Office of Refugee Resettlement and other avenues where Muslims can come here on religious visas, visa lottery programs and countless other visa programs. Refugees are set on a path to full citizenship within five years. I’m not saying all of them are anti-American. But if even 10 percent of them are, we’ve got a problem very similar to Israel’s. Sources of mine in Sterling Heights, Michigan, reported seeing fireworks coming from a site on 15 Mile Road where a mega-mosque is under construction. The mosque is not even open for business, yet the property owners used the site to express their celebratory emotions and feelings of giddiness over the news coming out of Israel. Hundreds of miles away in Tampa, Florida, I was informed of a pro-Hamas rally, also expressing jubilation over Israelis being killed. Muslims also rallied in support of Hamas terrorists in America’s largest cities, New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Muslims are also celebrating in Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and Turkey (a NATO member), among other places. This single event in Israel has triggered them and they will launch more attacks on Jews and Christians around the world. So it would be a mistake to view what happened in Israel as something “over there.” It can and will happen here. In the U.S. and many European countries, the hordes are not standing at the gates, they’re inside the gates, waiting for their zero-hour event. This may be it. The Israelis were not prepared for what happened Friday night. They’d grown too comfortable, too prosperous, too lazy, and maybe some had just grown too tired and weary of standing on alert all the time with their weapons at the ready. It can be exhausting being on watch 24/7. Perhaps they got lulled into a false sense of security, placing too much faith in their government to save them from such attacks. When the chips are down, the government will not be there to save us. Not in Israel and not in America, Britain, Germany, Italy or France. Just when you feel you are dwelling in safety and security, then like a thief, Satan will send his minions to attack you in the most vicious way possible. Be aware. World War III is bulldozing its way into our reality. What happened in Israel on the night of October 6 widens the war and draws in the Muslim world. They now have a stake in the outcome of the war. Israel has a stake. Many of the evangelical Christians in the West who were against funding Ukraine’s war with Russia will now feel they have a stake in this new front being opened in the Middle East. We should expect a third front to open soon. Perhaps a Chinese blockade of Taiwan? Serbia attacking Kosovo? All of this will add up to global war and millions of new combatants being drafted into duty on both sides. Americans, are you prepared to offer up your sons and daughters to the military-industrial complex? If not, then you’d better wise up and refuse to be played by the script writers in the globalist war games. The violence is coming soon to a nation, state, city, and/or community near you. Why? Because, at this point, both sides want it. They’ve been manipulated into mutual hatred and they’re taking the bait. Will you be caught off guard like those Israelis? Daily Jot: Taking inventory of our faith - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com In this day and age, there is much that tests our faith. We live in a world where godlessness bombards us every minute of every day. The media blasts 24-7, and if you were to listen to the world, the news media, the politicians, there is very little that can boost your faith in God. The immorality that has become common place from the types of television programming to commercials to what is being taught in pubic schools detracts from the building blocks of faith in God. There are many replacements for faith and the prophets of society remind us every day, every minute that it is man, not God, who defines science, who delivers aid, who is responsible for all things good. It’s time to take inventory of our faith. Hebrews Chapter 11 is called the “Faith Chapter.” But what frames our faith? Looking at Hebrews 10:32-35 gives us insight. “Partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, knowing that you yourselves had a better and permanent possession. Therefore, do not throw away your boldness (courage) which has a great reward.” First Century Christians faced even worse from the world than we do today. The writer of Hebrews exhorts us to not shrink back and have courage and confidence through faith that we will attain our eternal reward. Then there is Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” It is through faith, trusting in God, that the ancient elders receive what they did not see. We are all recipients of what we have not seen. For example, we did not see the creation of the universe, and it is explained by man’s science only in theories. But by faith we know the universe we live in was created from the spoken word of God. Similar is the faith of the Biblical forefathers. Abraham was promised he would be a great nation. He didn’t see it in his lifetime, but through his faith he became the father of the great nation. By faith, Moses led the children of Israel out of captivity and to the precipice of the promised land, which he saw from afar, but did not enter. In Hebrews 11:24-29, Moses is mentioned among the great in the “Hall of Faith.” Moses is an example of being confident of what we hope for, convinced about things we do not see. Moses saw glimpses into the promise, even of Christ, yet like the others listed in the passage, he did not receive in his earthly time what had been promised because God had a better plan–that they all would be brought to the goal with us through Christ (Hebrews 11:39-40). How wonderful for us to come to faith in Christ as well as be grafted into the “community of Jacob (Deuteronomy 33:4).” As evidenced by Hebrews 12:1-2 of the great cloud of witnesses surrounding us that we lay aside every impediment and run with endurance the race set before us, looking onto Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. A powerful lesson for us in the face of life’s many disappointments and heartaches. Take inventory of your faith. Keep your courage in these times that through faith you will attain your reward. Daily Devotion: The First Resurrection - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. —2 Corinthians 5:8 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/the-first-resurrection/ - Listen What happens when Christians die? The simple answer is that if you’ve put your faith in Jesus Christ, you immediately will go to Heaven. There are no stopovers or suspended states of animation. There is no purgatory or soul sleep. When Christians die, they go directly into God’s presence. The Bible says, “Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8 NLT). As Christians, we will go to Heaven one day, and we’ll get there in one of two ways: death or the Rapture. There is a generation that will not see death but will instead go to Heaven in the Rapture. We don’t know whether we will be that generation. But we could be. Paul wrote to the Thessalonian believers, “We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves” (1 Thessalonians 4:15–16 NLT). He continued, “Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever” (verse 17 NLT). That means we could be going about our business one day, and without warning—in a nanosecond, in a flash—we will meet Jesus Christ in the air. Not only that, but we will immediately reunite with our Christian loved ones and friends who have gone to Heaven before us. The Bible calls this the first resurrection. Revelation 20:6 says, “Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power” (NLT). The second death is the final Great White Throne Judgment, while the first resurrection is the Rapture. In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul referred to the Rapture, saying, “But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever” (verses 51–52 NLT). This means that Christians do not have to fear death. Yes, Christians will die physically. But our mortal bodies will put on immortality. The soul lives on. That will never die. It is why Paul said, “Living means living for Christ, and dying is even better” (Philippians 1:21 NLT). Of course, Christians grieve like everyone else when we lose loved ones. But the Bible says that we don’t grieve as those who do not have hope (see 1 Thessalonians 4:13). For the Christian, death is not the end. It’s a transition from earth to Heaven.
