As soon as Israel sends troops into Gaza, a chain of events will begin which nobody is going to be able to control. I believe that one of those events will be Hezbollah entering the conflict from the north. As I discussed yesterday, there is no way that Hezbollah is just going to sit there and watch Hamas get systematically wiped out by the IDF. Hezbollah is already mobilizing their forces and making preparations to join the fight. But if that happens, Israel is going to hit back extremely hard. In fact, there are reports that Israel has already warned Hezbollah that if it enters the war the Israelis will “destroy Damascus”… Ynet News : “IDF will destroy Damascus, target Syrian President Assad if Hezbollah joins war; US warships will support Israel in war.” – Message relayed via France Unfortunately, this threat has not caused Hezbollah to back down. In fact, Fox News is reporting that the Israelis are now “actively fighting a secondary front along Israel’s northern border with Hezbollah in Lebanon”… Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus said Wednesday that the Israeli army shelled the Lebanese border town of Duhaira and the surrounding area where the missile attack came from. He also said Israel was actively fighting a secondary front along Israel’s northern border with Hezbollah in Lebanon, in addition to the counteroffensive the IDF is launching in the Gaza Strip. “We have deployed tens of thousands of additional units along the northern border,” Conricus said, including infantry, special forces, armored forces, artillery, air forces, and “additional assets including intelligence and logistics.” Hezbollah has not formally entered the war yet. But I think that will likely happen very quickly once Israel invades Gaza. So could Israel actually turn Damascus into a pile or rubble? Well, just consider what the IDF is already doing to Gaza. We are being told that Gaza was hit by an astounding 250 airstrikes in a single hour… Pictures show neighbourhoods in Gaza almost destroyed after Israel launched 250 airstrikes in just one hour. It comes after an Israeli defense official promise the strip will become a ‘tent city’ with every building to be demolished. The IDF is not messing around. One Israeli military official admitted that they are attacking “on an unprecedented scale”, and nobody can really argue with that fact… Brig. Gen. Omer Tishler, the Israel Air Force’s chief of staff, says fighter jets are striking the Gaza Strip on an “unprecedented scale.” “We are attacking the Gaza Strip on an unprecedented scale, because what happened here is something that has never happened before. There is an enemy here firing rockets, raiding a civilian population,” Tishler says in a call with reporters. “We are never going back to that,” he says. So far, a whopping 2,687 targets inside Gaza have been hit… The Israel Defense Forces has carried out strikes against 2,687 targets across the Gaza Strip since Saturday, according to fresh military data. According to the data, 1,329 of the targets are multi-story buildings containing Hamas assets, including war rooms where the terror group manages the fighting against Israel. One of those targets was the Islamic University of Gaza. We are being told that it was a “central training center”, and now it has been completely destroyed… The Israel Defense Forces says it has bombed the Islamic University of Gaza, “which serves as a central training center for Hamas engineers.” The military says fighter jets targeted the campus, located in Gaza City. According to the IDF, the university was “an important center of political and military power” for Hamas and a “training institution for the development and production of weapons.” WATCH: https://twitter.com/i/status/1712022190105743437 In the past, Israel was always so careful to avoid collateral damage when it would conduct attacks in Gaza. But now Israel’s defense minister is making it clear that there will be no holding back… Yoav Gallant, the Israeli defense minister, said ‘all restraints on fighters have been released’ and promised an intensification of fighting. ‘Hamas wanted a change and it will get one. What was in Gaza will no longer be,’ he said. ‘We started the offensive from the air, later on we will also come from the ground. We’ve been controlling the area since Day Two and we are on the offensive. It will only intensify. ‘Whoever comes to decapitate, murder women, Holocaust survivors — we will eliminate him at the height of our power and without compromise.’ If the IDF were to apply the same treatment to Damascus, it would draw Syria into the war. Once Hamas, Hezbollah and Syria have all entered the war, it is probably just a matter of time before Iran joins the conflict too. And once Iran enters the war, there is no telling how far things could escalate. Already, one member of the Knesset named Revital Gotliv has been calling for the use of nuclear weapons… “Jericho Missile! Jericho Missile! Strategic alert. before considering the introduction of forces. Doomsday weapon! This is my opinion. May God preserve all our strength,” Gotliv wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday, according to a translation. Another post says: “I urge you to do everything and use Doomsday weapons fearlessly against our enemies,” adding that Israel “must use everything in its arsenal.” On Tuesday, she continued with her calls of urgency. “Only an explosion that shakes the Middle East will restore this country’s dignity, strength and security!” Gotliv posted. “It’s time to kiss doomsday. Shooting powerful missiles without limit. Not flattening a neighbourhood. Crushing and flattening Gaza. … without mercy! without mercy!” Everyone knows that Israel has nukes, and let us hope that they will not be used any time soon. But we should all be able to understand why she is so furious. At one location that Hamas attacked in southern Israel, “knives were found left in some of the children”… There is evidence in Kibbutz Be’eri that children were slain in front of their parents, Maj. Doron Spielman says. Knives were found left in some of the children. Bodies are still being taken out of the kibbutz, which Spielman says will be remembered as a symbol of Hamas’s massacre, like Auschwitz is the symbol of the Holocaust. Some 1,200 Israelis were slaughtered by the terror group, including over 100 at Be’eri alone. When Hamas decided to rape women, murder children and kidnap the elderly, they awakened the full fury of the Jewish people. And when Israel sends troops into Gaza, the Great Middle East War will be unleashed. In my most recent book, I wrote about an “endless barrage of missiles” being fired at Israel. I believe that is about to become a reality. There is going to be so much death and destruction in the days ahead, and there will be many more cities that will be transformed into piles of rubble before this is all over. All over Israel, people were sleeping in on this final day of Sukkot, the joyous Feast of Tabernacles. In southern Israel, just five kilometers from the border with Gaza, an all-night rave with more than 1000 young people attending was just starting to wind down. Little did these people know that into the serenity of this day, the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas was about to launch a multi-level, comprehensive attack using capabilities that had never been employed against Israel before. Drones were launched that dropped bombs on the Israeli military outposts along the border fence, immediately neutralizing the ground level chain of command along Gaza. Thus, there was no one left to report to the higher levels of leadership what was taking place. At the same time, rockets began to fire from Gaza into Israel, first hundreds, then thousands. The firing of rockets was not unusual. What was atypical was the huge number of missiles that made it past the Iron Dome defense system. All this was taking place to mask the third prong of attack, one that has never before occurred from Gaza. The border fence was breached and, in places, completely torn down. More than a thousand terrorists began pouring through the holes, some in cars and trucks, many on motorcycles. They came to hunt Jews. One of the first groups they found were the young people at the rave. The terrorists surrounded the partygoers and opened fire. More than 260 were slaughtered. Others were rounded up and taken back into Gaza as hostages. Meanwhile, in the towns and kibbutzim along the border, families were waking up to pounding on their doors. When they answered, they were murdered in cold blood. Once again, many others were kidnapped back across the border. Once the gunfire began, the first responders were police, firefighters, and EMTs. Many of them were killed as they tried to defend the innocent civilians. Where was the military response? First, as we saw earlier, the border echelon of communication was severed. Second, when rockets were fired in the past, it was often a ruse to mask terrorists attempted to cross into Israel from Lebanon in the north. Thus, many of the special military units were heading in the wrong direction. It took four hours for the military to mount a concerted response, which was eventually dubbed Operation Iron Sword. By that time, the carnage was devastating. Bodies of Jewish civilians littered the streets. A still unknown number were kidnapped and taken hostage into Gaza. Women, children, the elderly, no one was spared the violence of these Palestinian criminals. Not since the Holocaust have we seen so many Jews rounded up, beaten, and humiliated in public. And never before has it happened within the borders of modern Israel. Eventually, once the tide of battle had turned, the terrorists fled back into Gaza. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) followed them in. Hamas members, from the top leaders down to the soldiers, were targeted, as were their headquarters, warehouses, and homes. This is all part of a three-level response by the Israeli military. The first level is to purify Israel of all terrorists. Anyone who crossed the border as part of this attack and is still in Israel needs to either be arrested or killed. The second level is to take from Hamas and other terrorist organizations that threaten Israel all their military capabilities. To accomplish this, Israel’s government has invoked Article 40 of the Basic Laws, which amounts to a declaration of war. Last time Article 40 was used was in 1973 for the Yom Kippur War. This will allow the IDF to use all air, ground, and naval forces to accomplish this feat. The third level of Israel’s response is to hold accountable the countries that assisted Hamas in this attack. Hamas is neither equipped nor sophisticated enough to have pulled this off alone. Most automatically look to Iran, but U.S. intelligence says the ayatollahs were not involved. The question we have to ask is who has jamming equipment advanced enough to nullify the protection of the Iron Dome? Also, what country has effectively used drones to drop bombs on targets? The answer is Russia. The relationship between Moscow and Jerusalem has been souring due to Israel’s expanding exports of natural gas and Russia’s deepening relationships with Israel’s enemies, like Iran, Syria, and Lebanon. To know how to effectively ensure this doesn’t happen again, we must understand what led to this attack and what must happen to guarantee it doesn’t happen again. This terrorist action was not about past grievances or land or any other excuse that liberal politicians and media will come up with. This is purely religious in nature, evidenced by the name they gave to their attack – Amaliyyat Tufan al-Aqsa, or Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. A record number of Jews visited (or flooded) the al-Aqsa Mosque compound, otherwise known as the Temple Mount, in Jerusalem over the holy days surrounding Yom Kippur and Sukkot. The radical Muslims called it provocation, despite it being legal and orderly, and the Jews neither worshipped on the Temple Mount or disturbed the Islamic worship. But the hatred of the Jews has gone on long before last week. If there is one thing that both radical Shiite and Sunni Muslims can agree upon is that the Jews in Israel must be exterminated. This is not about land, it is about religious-based genocide fueled by Iran and a radical jihadist agenda. Because the origin of this and other terrorist attacks against Israel is based on religion and ethnicity rather than actions, we know that there is nothing that we can do as Jews to stop them from wanting to come at us again. All we can do is take away their ability to do so. Moving forward, Israel must restore deterrence, whether it’s based on respect for the strength of our military or the personal fear of each potential terrorist as they consider what might happen to them, their family, and their home if they join in with the jihadists. Along with that, Israel must eliminate Hamas. To do so, the IDF must stop caring what the world will say and what the media will say. The gloves must come off. Next, there must be a lot of questions answered. What happened at the border? With our incredibly sophisticated equipment and sensors, how could we not see this attack coming? How did we miss the tearing down of the fence and the pouring in of hundreds of vehicles through the breach? How could we not know of their new communications network that was beyond our access? With our intelligence services being among the best in the world, the bottom-line questions are, first, how could we possibly not know about this attack? And, second, if we did know about this, then who stopped the information? These are the questions that are in every Israeli’s mind. I am not among the many conspiracy theorists that have popped up, but I one hundred percent agree that there are some very difficult questions that must be answered. Saturday was Israel’s 9/11. Already more than 700 Israeli bodies have been found. I expect the number to reach at least 1000 in the coming days. More than 2000 are wounded, many of them critically. My prayer is that this horrific event will somehow bring unity to my very fractured country. I also hope that as other nations surround us and support us, it will bring greater peace to Israel. But, because I know Scripture, I understand that any strides forward will be short-lived. Israel is bound to face growing violence as the days progress. What we just experienced is the first phase of the attacks on Israel. One relatively small terror organization wreaking havoc on the Jewish civilian population. Next will come phase two, when numerous terror organizations will band together for a multi-front attack. Hezbollah will join with other Iranian proxies to bring down Israel. The third phase will be when nations will join other nations to come against Israel. That is the Ezekiel 38 War. I understand that there are those tying this attack to Ezekiel 38. That cannot be for three reasons. First, the scale is much too small compared to Ezekiel 38. Second, not all of the players of that war were involved in this one. Third, the fact that the U.S. is sending to the region the USS Gerald Ford strike group with around 110 Tomahawk missiles nullifies this from being Ezekiel 38. In that scenario, there will be no one who comes to Israel’s aid. Pray for Israel. Pray for the families who have lost loved ones. Pray for the captives and the wounded. They will all have incredible trauma that they will have to process through in the months and years to come. Pray for wisdom for Prime Minister Netanyahu and the government as they mete out their response against Hamas and evaluate the steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Most of all, pray that God is glorified somehow through this. My heart is broken for my nation and my people. It is times like this that the only place in which I can find comfort is the Scriptures. “All our enemies have opened their mouths against us. Panic and pitfall have befallen us, devastation and destruction; my eyes run down with streams of water because of the destruction of the daughter of my people. My eyes pour down unceasingly, without stopping, until the LORD looks down and sees from heaven…. I called on Your name, O LORD, out of the lowest pit. It didn’t take long for the world to realize that this was not a localized terrorist attack. This one was big and it was planned. Prime Minister Netanyahu first declared that Israel was in “a state of war,” and soon after, he officially declared that Israel was “at war” by invoking article 40 aleph. This had not happened since the 1973 Yom Kippur War, under Prime Minister Golda Meir. It has been less than a week, and casualties are over 1,200 in Israel. More than 150 were taken hostage and some might have been executed in the last few days. It breaks my heart to even say this, but Israel is at war, and this is going to be a long and messy one. One thing we cannot say about Hamas is that they didn’t tell us how they feel about Israel and the Jewish people. The Hamas Covenant is clear, “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it (Preamble.) “The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: ‘O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him. (article 7.)” Hamas is a terrorist organization. UN Security Council Resolution 1566 defines terrorism very clearly: “criminal acts, including against civilians, committed with the intent to cause death or serious bodily injury, or taking of hostages, with the purpose to provoke a state of terror in the general public or in a group of persons or particular persons, intimidate a population or compel a government or an international organization to do or to abstain from doing any act.” This is exactly what Hamas did on Saturday, Oct 7, 2023, and I certainly wish I could say that the whole world is seeing through them. I wish I could say that Hamas is not fooling anyone, but unfortunately, I can’t! All over the world (Canada, Europe, USA), people have gathered on the streets to protest and speak up. While there were people coming to show their support to Israel, many more came with a pro-Palestinian agenda and unashamedly voiced their support for Hamas, chanting, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine Shall be Free!” which is a euphemism for killing all Jews in Israel. How in the world could anyone support the barbaric torturing and killing of innocent civilians (children, teenagers, adults and the elderly alike, including beheading? This is not about occupation or a two-state solution. This is pure, evil antisemitism. There were even people displaying swastikas during a protest in Time Square, NY. Jewish people worldwide do not feel safe anymore. When on the street, they have to watch their backs. When at services in Synagogue, they fear armed intruders at any moment. They stay home, lock their doors and pray for the best. This is no life to live, but safety first, I understand, yet, even that, might not be safe anymore. Apparently, a hacker has claimed that he has stolen genetic data from millions of users on the DNA ancestry service 23andMe. The company originally stated that they had not been hacked, but they eventually requested that all their users change their passwords immediately. The hacker also claimed that he was willing to sell a million names of individuals with Ashkenazi (Eastern European Jews) lineage. If the hack actually happened, it means that Jewish people are now being identified at the individual level, including personal data and home addresses. We are now seeing the stage being set for the rounding up of Jews. I do not take the Holocaust lightly, considering that I lost my grandfather in Auschwitz, but we have to start drawing parallels between the 2023 open season on the Jews and the 1930s open season on the Jews. In 1935, the Nazi regime announced two new laws related to race: The Reich Citizenship Law and The Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor. They were meant to identify and ostracize the Jews. As they were first introduced in Nuremberg, they became known as “The Nuremberg Laws.” This was the start of the Nazi death factories. But, before the Nazis could kill 6,000.000 Jews in the Death Camps, they had to transport them there, and before they could transport them they had to gather and keep them together in ghettos, but before all that, the Jewish people had to be identified, thus the Nuremberg Laws. Once the Nuremberg Laws were put in place, the domino effect started. In August 1938, all Jews had to have the names “Sara” for females and “Israel” for males, added to their identification papers for quick identification. Three months later, the stamped red letter “J” was added to the passports of all the Jewish people. One month later Kristallnacht took place in Germany. It has been recognized as the official start of the “Final Solution to the Jewish Question.” In September of 1941, the Yellow Star patch (that my parents wore in France) became mandatory. Even if the hacker’s story is not true, the mere fact that someone thought of doing such a thing, shows the world’s obsession with the destruction of all Jewish people. Maybe this hacker is a fake and he has nothing, but the idea is now in the open and someone will find a way to get Jewish addresses. This is pure evil and it validates Satan’s main agenda: The destruction of Israel and all Jews. The dominos are in place and it only takes one push. This war is going to be won by Israel one way or another. Bibi stated it very simply, “Hamas started the war, but we will finish it!” Hamas will be stopped and incapacitated. The biggest lesson might end up being that it is no longer safe for Jews ANYWHERE including Israel. Antisemitism has been constantly repackaged by Satan over the centuries and even in the last few decades. Today, in a vicious race to get the Jews everywhere, global antisemitism might have reached the point of no return! So, the only remaining safe harbor for Jews is now–on a more individual level–in the homes of loving Christians who will do anything to help Israel. The challenge is that most Jewish people don’t know if they can trust their Christian neighbors. It is time to reach out to your Jewish friends and open your home and your heart to them. Let us all model our behavior after the Tribulation sheep of Matthew 25:31-46, “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.“ These Gentile Christians are reminiscent of the Yad Vashem Righteous Among the Nations who saved Jews during WW2, including my mother and her two cousins. I call them the New Righteous Among the Nations. Bibi Netanyahu called all Israeli reservists to duty. Maybe it is time for all New Righteous Among the Nations to respond to the call of duty as well. Israel and Diaspora Jews can certainly use a few friends right now! Prophecy is Coming Together - Nathele Graham - [email protected] “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Daniel 12:4. Daniel had been given an amazing prophecy regarding events that were future to Daniel, but we can understand because we can look back in history. Daniel couldn’t possibly understand what he was shown, but faithfully recorded the prophecy. The angel told him to seal the book without understanding it because it was for the time of the end. Knowledge would increase so the words of the prophecy would become clear. Brothers and sisters, we are at the time when we can understand the end times prophecies. Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah, Amos, Zechariah, and more have confused “scholars” for years, but today prophecy is coming together. A few days ago, Hamas staged a satanic attack on Israel, and Israel has declared war. This attack was beyond belief. Israel has a defense system called Iron Dome and it failed to stop the reported 5,000 rockets fired into Israel. Hamas couldn’t have done this without outside help. Did Russia tell them how to get around Iron Dome? China? How this happened will eventually come to light, but prophecy is definitely coming together. God gave the Promised Land to Abraham, and through his son Isaac, it belongs to the Jewish people. It is their land. On occasion, they have been disobedient to God and have been taken captive, but the land will always be theirs. “And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.” Isaiah 11:11-12. God also told the prophet Amos about this second gathering. “And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.” Amos 9:14-15. After World War 2, when the Jewish people returned to their land, it was desolate. Under the loving care of God’s chosen people, the land flourished and has prospered. Oddly enough, the world hates them, especially the Muslim people around them. This hatred is Satanic. The attacks of a few days ago are evil. The attackers have kidnapped civilians, including elderly people and children, and murdered people in cold blood. Why? Will the world stand by and, as usually happens, condemn Israel? Brothers and sisters, we need to pray for Israel. God’s word tells us to. "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace shall be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces." Psalm 122:6-7. This reflects another promise God made to Abraham. “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing; and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 12:2-3. God doesn’t go back on His promises. Peace will come, but prophecy is also clear that there will be much unrest and tribulation before true peace comes to Jerusalem. Biblical prophecy is coming together as we watch. Every person who claims to love the Lord, must turn to God and pray for Jerusalem. “Psalm of Asaph. Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.” Psalm 83:1-4. Israel will never be erased. Many enemies of Israel have tried to destroy Israel, but God has never allowed them to be totally destroyed. The book of Judges is filled with accounts of nations that tried to destroy Israel, but God called men to stand against the enemy, and win battles that seemed impossible to win. In Psalm 83, Aseph makes reference to many of these defeated enemies, and reminds us of these battles. Battles are won when men turned to God for help. I pray that Israel will turn to God for His help and guidance in the war that is raging today. As Aseph continued with his plea to God in Psalm 83, he asked God to make the enemy ashamed, but he also had a surprising request. “Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.” Psalm 83:16. He wanted them to be ashamed of their attack, but he wanted them to seek the Lord. That should be our desire for any enemy we face. Our prayer should be that everyone comes to salvation. I’ve seen many testimonies of Muslims who have had miraculous encounters with Jesus, and it would be wonderful if many more meet our Lord. “That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.” Psalm 83:18. I know that I look at the enemies of Israel as pagans who worship a false god who is of Satan, but I also know that many of the Jewish people follow the traditions of their faith without believing in God. I pray that the Jewish people will come to a saving faith in God and recognize that Jesus is their Messiah. They will do that one day, but there will be more wars and tribulation before they ultimately call upon the name of Jesus. Only then will Jesus, the Messiah, return for the final battle and defeat the true enemy. That enemy is Satan. It can be frightening watching prophecy being fulfilled. Sadly, most people don’t study prophecy so they aren’t prepared for seeing it being fulfilled. Christian preachers seldom teach line upon line through Scripture, and skip “tough” topics, like prophecy. Quite often prophecy is easier to interpret by hindsight, but when studying prophecy, always assume God means exactly what He says. When God says something will happen, you can be certain it will happen just as God said. The knowledge of people living in the 1800’s couldn’t possibly allow understanding of how the mark of the beast could be implemented. Today it’s very easy to understand because knowledge has increased. We have microchips in everything, and with all the talk about chips being implanted, and shots that affect RNA, it becomes understandable. Old suppositions have to be dismissed if we are to understand prophecy. A heresy that is often taught is “replacement theology”. If you’ve been taught that the church has replaced Israel, then you will never understand prophecy. This fable started because people didn’t believe God’s word. Prophecy that talks of God dealing with Israel can only happen if Israel is back in the land, which they are. God loves Israel and will never turn away from them. Like a human parent allows their child to make mistakes and learn from them, so is God’s love for Israel. They’ve rebelled many times, but He is always there for them when they call on Him for help. “ I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalm 121:1-4. God never sleeps. Don’t be afraid of what’s happening in Israel today. Many amazing things are happening that fulfill other prophecies. One of the most amazing happenings is the birth of five red heifers. This is a requirement of purification before the Temple can be built. “This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:” Numbers 19:2. This is for purification of the Temple and the nation, but in Hebrews we know that only the blood of Jesus brings true purification. “For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” Hebrews 9:13-14. Jewish priests today still trust the blood of animals. There hasn’t been a qualifying red heifer found for many years, but today there are five in Israel that are soon to be sacrificed. If, for some reason, they are disqualified, there are 16 others that are possible replacements. Everything comes together in God’s perfect timing. These heifers may be sacrificed this month (October 2023) and Israel is also talking with Saudi Arabia about permission to build the temple. It’s interesting that Hamas chose this time to launch an attack on Israel. Satan is trying to stop Israel from returning to God. What does all this mean for Christians? Brothers and sisters, are you prepared for the Rapture? Prophecy is happening quickly, and there really are no events that have to happen before the Rapture. How do you prepare? The Rapture is a promise to Christians that we will be taken out of the world prior to the time of Jacob’s trouble, also known as Daniel’s 70th Week. The world will go through the horrendous events described in Revelation chapter 6 and following chapters, but Christians will be called Home before that, just as Enoch was taken by God prior to the judgment of the Flood. In Revelation, Jesus dictated seven letters to John, and he recorded them in Revelation chapters 2 and 3. Each letter describes a specific time in church history. As we read through these letters, we come to our modern age as described in the final letter to Laodicea. This church is described as lukewarm. “Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched and miserable, and poor and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.” Revelation 3:17-18. So many congregations today go through motions. The pastor preaches easy-listening sermons that don’t confront sin or teach prophecy. As long as the people fill the collection plates, everything is fine. Ears are tickled and the congregation sleeps. It doesn’t matter that demonic forces are attacking our schools and our entertainment, destroying families, and perverting God’s truth. As long as everyone feels good there’s no problem. Jesus is excluded from the hallowed halls of little country churches as well as the megachurches. “Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20. It’s up to you to hear Jesus knocking and invite Him in. Scripture wasn’t originally written with chapters and verses. After we read about the lukewarm church age, we’re shown the next event. The Rapture! “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.” Revelation 4:1. The first words in this verse (After this) and the last word (hereafter) are the same Greek words: meta tauta. They indicate a sequence, first something happens, then the next thing happens. So, after the Laodicean age, a door was open and a voice said come up hither, then the next events happen. What John saw was amazing. He was at the Bema Seat, in Heaven. Yet, on earth there is horrendous events of the Great Tribulation happening. The only way to prepare for the Rapture is to accept Christ for salvation right now. It is our faith in Him that allows us to be with Him eternally. If you think you’re a Christian because you were baptized as a baby, that won’t save you. A baby cannot understand about sin and the need for Jesus. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9. Don’t wait; tomorrow may be too late. Prophecy is coming together and it’s happening rapidly. God has told us in Scripture the things to look for and these things are happening. If you’re holding tightly to sin and think God is happy with that, you need to study Scripture. Let God change your heart and serve Him. Do it now, before you’re left behind. Daily Jot: The red line - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com The Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah attack on Israeli citizens is a great red line. On one side of the line are those who see the pure evil in the brutal barbarism of the Islamist who vow to eliminate Israel from the face of the earth. On the other side are those who support the actions of the terrorist aggressors. Be assured, there is no moral middle ground. There is no justification. There is no “Yeah, but…” What has been done to Israelis is morally wrong. Sadly, there are those around the world marching and protesting on behalf of the “Palestinians,” under the false and historically inaccurate assumption that these indigenous Arabs are somehow the victims of Israeli occupation of “Palestine.” But it’s about hate. The red line becomes even brighter when reports come in that these sub-human barbarians dismembered babies in front of their parents before killing the parents; that they beheaded babies; that they not only killed citizens, but dismembered them. It is wicked hateful bloodlust. Supporters of these immoral acts try to say that it is Israeli propaganda. No. It was the terrorists themselves that recorded their atrocities on cell phones and posted their deeds online, bragging about what they had accomplished in the name of “allah.” Imagine being a family member and seeing a young, stripped, contorted dead body in the back of a pickup truck with these terrorists’ legs propped up on it, and upon a closer look, it’s your daughter. The red line becomes brighter now when Israeli leaders declare war and begin rooting out these satanic allah animals. The evil side claims the Israelis have killed children in their retaliation. They claim war crimes have been committed by the Israelis. They call for a cease fire in the name of humanitarianism. And those in the news media and leaders from around the world join in like a chorus of an evil chant. World sentiment begins to change and starts pointing the finger at Israel for its brutality. This has been the pattern. The evil animals attack, commit unthinkable atrocities, then hide behind schools and hospitals while calling for a ceasefire. It is in this manner that they get away with what they have done, and get the extra propaganda push that the Israelis are killing their women and children—something they use to gain support. Christ said in Matthew 7:17-20, “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” Cut down and thrown into the fire. That’s what may well happen to the residents evil of Gaza. Deservingly so. On which side of the red line do you stand? What do you say to those who say “hate doesn’t live here,” but support the “Palestinian” cause that drives Hamas and others like it to such evil? Those protesting in support of Hamas are in no uncertain terms advocating evil. It is the side of the red line where we know them by their fruits. Do we want to be remembered in history like those who supported the Holocaust? I think not. Act then appropriately. How are we to live our lives? The Bible tells us there are specific things that we should be doing. One thing that God has given to every follower of Jesus, without exception, is the message of the gospel. While not everyone is called to be an evangelist, everyone is called to evangelize. The apostle Paul mentioned in his letter to Timothy how God entrusted “the glorious Good News” to him (1 Timothy 1:11). And God has entrusted the glorious Good News to us as well. Jesus told a parable about a man of great wealth who was preparing to leave on a long trip. He called his servants together and gave each of them a sum of money. Everyone received the same amount. Then he told them, “Invest this for me while I am gone” (Luke 19:13 NLT). In the same way, Jesus is saying to us, “I’m coming back soon, so take this message that I’ve entrusted to you and share it with others. Do God’s business until I return.” There is nothing wrong with having a career or getting married and having a family. There is nothing wrong with enjoying the things God has given to us. But here’s the question we must ask ourselves: “What am I personally doing to get the gospel out?” Maybe you believe that is the job of pastors and evangelists. Yes, it is. But it is also the job of every Christian. It is more than giving money for the work of evangelism, although that is a very good thing to do. It is also looking for opportunities that God puts in our paths. Jesus made this clear in another parable He told about someone who had mismanaged his employer’s finances. Knowing he was about to be fired, the manager reached out to several of the people who owed money to his employer. For example, one man owed 800 gallons of oil, so the employee had him settle the debt for 400 gallons. The manager did the same thing with a number of people who were in debt to his employer. And ultimately, instead of reproving this manager, the employer commended him for his shrewdness. Jesus concluded by saying, “Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home” (Luke 16:9 NLT). In the same way, we need to take our resources and use them for the work of the gospel. God has given each of us three things to use for His glory: time, talent, and treasure. We all have these in varying degrees. God doesn’t hold us responsible for success; He holds us responsible for faithfulness. In that final day, Jesus isn’t going to say, “Well done, good and successful servant.” Instead, He will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Take what God has given you and do the best that you can do.
