This is not an easy article to write. In fact, it would probably be easier if I did not write about this at all. But if we do not speak out, that is a victory for evil. So I am going to share some truly horrible things with you in this article. Everything that I am going to share comes from a mainstream news source, but I have to warn you in advance that this material is not for the faint of heart. So if you do not want to read about the sexual violence that Hamas has been committing, you should stop reading now. I do not really want to write about this stuff, because these acts are evil on a scale that I don’t even know how to describe. But we must expose the truth, because the future of the nation of Israel hangs in the balance. Much of the world is enthusiastically supporting Hamas, and they need to understand why they should stop supporting these extremely wicked monsters. Even here in the United States, there are lots of people that are passionately cheering on Hamas and want them to win this war. If you are one of those people, what in the world is wrong with you? On October 7th, Hamas terrorists tortured women in unimaginable ways, and many of those women still had expressions of panic frozen on their faces when they died… Expressions of agony survived their deaths, army reservist Shari Mendes said as she described what experts saw when they identified and prepared for burial the bodies of female victims of Hamas’s October 7 massacre. “These women arrived with their eyes open, their mouths grimacing, their fists clenched,” said Mendes, whose IDF rabbinical unit worked with the bodies, all of which were brought to the IDF’s Shura base. According to Mendes, a number of female soldiers were viciously mutilated by Hamas. The following comes from the Jerusalem Post… “Our team commander saw several female soldiers who were shot in the crotch – intimate parts/vagina – or shot in the breast. This seemed to be a systematic genital mutilation of a group of victims,” Mendes said. In a filmed testimonial played at the event, a survivor said she watched a terrorist who had cut off a woman’s breasts and played with them – after he had raped her. “Our unit has seen bodies that were beheaded or had limbs cut off, mutilated,” Mendes said. “One young woman came in with no legs: they had been cut off. We saw several severed heads, one with a large kitchen knife still embedded in the neck.” I would very much encourage everyone to read the full Jerusalem Post article, because you will never forget it. After reading that article, how can anyone possibly cheer for Hamas? Unless you are literally filled with demons, I cannot comprehend how you could possibly support what Hamas has done. One eyewitness has stated that he saw one Israeli woman being raped by one Hamas terrorist after another… ‘As I am hiding, I see in the corner of my eye that [a terrorist] is raping her,’ the witness told investigators. ‘They bent her over and I realized they were raping her and simply passing her on to the next [gunman].’ The witness says the victim was ‘alive’ and ‘on her feet and bleeding from her back. But then the situation was that he was pulling her hair. She had long, brown hair.’ And some women were raped after they were already dead… ‘Some women were raped before they were dead, some raped while injured, and some were already dead when the terrorists raped their lifeless bodies,’ his statement says. Do you support raping corpses? If you are cheering for Hamas, that is exactly what you are supporting. And this sort of thing did not stop after October 7th. In fact, an Israeli doctor says that he has treated at least 10 hostages that were “sexually assaulted or abused” while they were being held by Hamas… On Tuesday, Netanyahu and members of his war cabinet held a tense and emotional meeting with recently released hostages and family members of hostages still held in Gaza as Israel bombards the Palestinian territory and expands its ground attacks. Some of the recently released hostages shared testimonies of sexual abuse during their time in Gaza, participants said. Separately, a doctor who treated some of the 110 released hostages told the AP that at least 10 men and women among those freed had been sexually assaulted or abused, but did not provide further details. He spoke on condition of anonymity to protect the hostages’ identities. Once you fully understand what Hamas has done, you can fully understand why Israel must wipe out Hamas. There is no other choice. The IDF has already had a lot of success in northern Gaza, and now operations in southern Gaza have begun… IDF Southern Command Chief Maj.-Gen. Yaron Finkleman on Wednesday said in a meeting in southern Gaza with his field commanders that the IDF is continuing to press forward with its invasion of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. On Tuesday, the IDF revealed that its invasion of southern Gaza and Khan Yunis had started Sunday night. According to the IDF, the top field commanders handling the Khan Yunis invasion presented Finkleman with the status of IDF and enemy forces within the city, the attacks already undertaken, and their future attack plans. Thousands of Hamas fighters continue to hide in their network of tunnels, but the IDF is getting ready to flood those tunnels with water from the Mediterranean Sea… At least five huge pumps have been set up close to the Al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza as Israel looks to take down the terror group following the horror October 7 massacre. The pumps are capable of flooding the vast underground maze within weeks by pouring in thousands of cubic meters of water per hour from the Mediterranean Sea, reports The Wall Street Journal. It would also drive out or drown Hamas terrorists using the tunnels as a hideout as Israeli forces push ahead with their ground assault. US officials said Israel alerted American authorities about its plan last month – but a decision has not been made on whether to go ahead yet. My hope is that more of the hostages can be recovered before the tunnels are flooded. But the truth is that Hamas is unlikely to ever give up all of the hostages because they need that leverage. Sadly, many more people are going to die on both sides in the days ahead. And it is just a matter of time before Hezbollah and Iran get more directly involved. The things that will happen in the Middle East in 2024 will shock the entire world, but there is no turning back now. If our daughters, wives and mothers had been raped and murdered by Hamas, the American people would want the same thing that the Israeli people want. Hamas must be destroyed, and anyone that chooses to support Hamas is choosing to support pure evil. In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus said, “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold” (Matthew 24:11-12). The Bible says there will be an increase in false prophets—frauds and fakes who claim to have knowledge of the future. We see this today in the surge in sorcery, magic arts, psychics, and witchcraft. In the New Testament, we find the word “pharmakeia,” which is where we get our English word for pharmacy. The word “pharmakeia” refers to sorcery, magic, or spells, and it’s often translated that way. That word was also used in ancient Greek for poisoning people with the use of potions, charms, drugs, or mood-altering substances. Pharmakeia is used twice in the Book of Revelation. It’s used in Revelation 9:21 during the trumpet judgments: “Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries [pharmakeia], nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.” Now, to me, that’s interesting. What is our world today dominated by? The murder rate and thefts are rising dramatically in major cities across America. We see all kinds of increases in sexual immorality. It’s interesting that listed among these sins is pharmakeia. Revelation 18:23, speaking of Babylon, that great end-time city in the system dominated by the Antichrist, says: “And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries [pharmakeia] were all nations deceived.” The tribulation religious and economic system ruled by the Antichrist will be dominated by spiritism, sorcery, and magic arts. The Antichrist will be the greatest sorcerer of all time. He will receive his guidance directly from satan and perform all kinds of signs, wonders, and miracles. It will be a mass campaign of demonic deception. We can see a preview of this today as more and more people are turning to psychics, spiritualists, and soothsayers for guidance and information. Earlier this month, the New York Post, along with several other publications, wrote about a blind mystic named Baba Vanga. Baba Vanga, an alleged Bulgarian clairvoyant or mystic, claimed to be able to see into the future. She was tragically left blind as a child by a tornado. Many claim that this woman was a modern-day “Nostradamus of the Balkans.” She died in 1996 but has developed a cult-like following. The Bulgarian Tsar Boris III and the Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev reportedly consulted her in person to find out about the future. She supposedly predicted the assassination of Indira Gandhi in 1969, 9/11, that the 44th president would be black, and the exact date of her own death. But as with a lot of these psychics and false prophets, they give a lot of supposed “prophecies.” In this NY Post article, it gives her yearly batch of predictions, and there are seven of them for 2024. When I was growing up, there was a woman named Jean Dixon, and every year, she would issue her string of prophecies that were supposed to take place. Now, what all of this shows is if you throw enough predictions against the wall, eventually, something will stick. Some of you may have heard my comparison between these false prophets and the phrase “a broken clock is right twice a day.” They get some things right here and there. It’s like the man who went to visit his psychic, and when he got there, there was a sign on the door that said: “closed due to unforeseen circumstances.” We have to remember there are no unforeseen circumstances with God. The Bible has a 100%, 100% of the time, proven track record when it comes to the things that it predicts. In fact, in Isaiah 46:10, God says, “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:” It’s sad that, as our world descends more and more into darkness, people turn to psychics, mediums, and other people to give them information when the Bible is the only 100% accurate source of knowledge for the future. 22% of Americans (1 out of 5) have consulted a psychic in their lifetime. It’s especially prevalent among the younger generation. They don’t like organized religion, but many of them don’t want to be atheists, so they turned to what we would call spiritualism or spirituality. According to a recent survey, 1/3 of non-religious Gen Zs and young millennials hold New Age beliefs. On TikTok, there have been 3.8 billion views for #Astrology, 6 billion views for #AstrologyTickTock, and 79.4 billion views for #ZodiacSigns. It increased dramatically during COVID. Amid the lockdowns, people were afraid. Now, 43% of Gen Z women say they would make a big decision based on astrology. An article this week asked, “Why do millennials and Gen Z love psychics?” The reason is people are searching for answers. There’s a fear of the future. People want guidance, but they don’t believe the Bible because people are more willing to exchange uncomfortable truth for comfortable lies. They don’t have to submit to anyone or anything when they believe in spiritism or psychics. It’s all about self, and that’s the way people like it. They’re in charge of their life in the future. More and more counselors today are fusing therapy and psychic readings. The New York Post published an article this week titled, “New Yorkers are ditching therapists for psychics.” “A lot of people have just been seeking out more into the unknown and more kinds of healing from different modalities, including tarot, astrology and all the other ones,” the report quoted. “Somebody spoke to me as if they knew my soul, something that transcended any experience of therapy that I’ve ever had.” They are told that they can find their “own internal compass.” People like that because they can be in control of their own life. The Bible strictly forbids all kinds of witchcraft, mediums, tarot cards, and astrology. Deuteronomy 18:10-13 says, “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.” There are dozens of verses like this. 1 Chronicles 10:13 says, “So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it.” As believers in Jesus Christ, we have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. One person put it like this: “The Holy Spirit is resident, and he wants to be president.” He is resident in our lives, and he wants to guide and direct us. He knows your future and my future. John 16:13 says, “He will guide you into all truth…” Romans 8:14 says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” We see the world around us falling increasingly for deception and spiritual seduction. This is another indication that the coming of Jesus is near. These prophecies He made about false prophets proliferating in the end times are coming to pass. The mantra of UN Agenda 2030 is “No person will be left behind” by this system. Few people see the whole ugly picture of what’s happening. They cannot connect the dots. Can you relate? I can’t help but wonder how Noah kept warning and preaching all those years when just my small efforts have left me feeling beaten down and defeated. Lot, on the other hand, found out and took off in the same day of the city’s destruction. If you look at it from the sake of ease, Lot had the better deal than Noah. We can’t want Lot’s lot (sorry, I had to go there) and hope for ease. In that case, if we were to be warned and removed in the same day of the rapture, then our loved ones wouldn’t have our nagging voices in their heads, and our homes wouldn’t be filled with help and encouragement for the left behind. So we, for an undetermined period of time, are stuck with Noah’s lot, trying to warn those who tune us out. Like Noah, we are to watch and wait and warn. If I’m honest, though, I’m far from being like Noah. I’m watching and waiting for Jesus every day, but I find my warnings have been waning, especially this past year. I don’t get out much since I write from home. Other than grocery store runs and the same two or three restaurants I frequent, I don’t have occasion to interact with people as often as most, so it’s difficult to build a relationship with someone, which would allow me to warn about the rapture. Sure, I could blurt it out while the check-out person does their beep, beep, beep scanning of my food, but that will only paint me as a lunatic. People are kind of funny about getting world news from a lunatic, so I hold back. I find myself frustrated that the world as we know it will soon tragically change, and I have no outlet for that information. Can you relate to that, too? Do you wonder what more you can do when you feel your hands are tied and your lips are sealed? That’s been me, wondering and fretting over my lack of effectively warning the lost and waking the found—until recently, that is. While preparing my home for the left behind after the rapture, in addition to the larger documents that explain where we went and how the lost can be saved, I created postcard-sized papers that can be tucked among my canned goods and medications and within Bibles. One side of the postcard has a quick explanation of where to find the missing people, and the other has the ABCs of responding to the Gospel, something I’ve used since I served in children’s ministry when my kids were little. I figure those who get saved after we’re gone may use them to give to others, and those who come later to my home may find them in the debris after the first rounds of pillaging. Maybe I’m naïve to think they will be used at all, but even if one is found or given out, I will consider my effort worthwhile. One day, it came to me; I can use the same format to warn people now. With a quick change of one side of the postcard, I now have rapture info, and on the other side are the ABCs. Honestly, I have more hope for these cards than I do for the ones the left behind may or may not discover in my home. The title of the card itself, Millions Will Someday Disappear! Will you go with them? will be a seed planted, an echo in their heads they’re not able to tune out when millions around them actually do go missing. I’m not naïve enough to think most will read the entire card, but I trust they will remember the warning and be less inclined to believe aliens took us or some other explanation for our disappearance if they’ve been warned in advance. My earliest title had the name of Jesus in it, but I know how the hatred for His name will ensure the card is tossed out unread. Who knows, maybe the new title will be intriguing enough that some will read past it and on through the most important sentence to follow: In an event referred to as the rapture, what the Bible calls being “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, believers in Jesus will be taken from this world to be with Him in heaven. If they get that far in reading, the Holy Spirit can water that planted seed. Whatever happens to those individuals who read some or all of the “seeds” I plant, at least I know I’ve done my best to reach a tuned-out, lost world. Another thought is that a believer may see the card and wake up to the reality of where we are and begin doing this same thing. I don’t know about you, but I’m just as tuned out by believers. If you’re interested in doing some seed planting of your own, I’ll share a link for you to print out the card I use. Or you may want to create a card with your own wording. Either way, I would love for you to join me in what my friends and I call “tagging.” I only considered it later, but that’s what it’s called when graffiti artists write or draw on a wall. What better work of art is there than pointing others to Jesus, the Word and Savior? Now that I hopefully have your interest, want to know where I most often leave these cards? I leave them for a captive audience in restroom stalls. Places I’ve tagged so far are restaurants, grocery stores, a hotel, my chiropractor, a marina, an airport, and a Bass Pro Shop. I know there are plenty of other ways to use the cards. Be creative. You’ll find it exhilarating when you tag your first location. Ask like-minded friends to join you, then stay in touch and share where you post your cards. A group of us are having a blast doing it. Additionally, I know I personally feel as if I’m actually “doing something” to reach others, a feeling I haven’t had in quite a while. Note: Please be considerate of others’ property. These pockets of outright election fraud and evidence of vote manipulation appear to be supporting a trend three years after the 2020 Presidential election, the very real and documented possibility of widespread election fraud. Take the case in Georgia, one of the disputed states in the 2020 election, where Judge Amy Totenberg of the US District Court Atlanta Division has granted a trial over claims of inaccuracies with voting machines, including the disputed Dominion Ballot Marking Device. In her decision to grant a trial, Judge Totenberg wrote “A plethora of new factual and legal developments emerged along the way, topped off by the breach of the Coffee County election system in early 2021. This breach and the copying and sharing of election system software and voting data to actors and entities inside and outside of the state, as well as through the internet, bear serious ramifications for the future vulnerability of the State’s election system as a whole. Plaintiffs initially discovered this breach in 2021 and, thereafter in 2022, conducted a series of depositions of individuals involved in the breach, some of whom were indicted in the pending RICO criminal case in Fulton County Superior Court. See Georgia v. Trump et al., 23SC188947 (Fulton Cty. Super. Ct. God can move the heart of a king, queen, prime minister, president, senator, congressman, or CEO. God will accomplish His purposes. Augustus thought that by ordering a census, he would have greater control over the world. But in the end, all he did was run an errand for God. The Lord needed Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem because Scripture prophesied, “But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, are only a small village among all the people of Judah. Yet a ruler of Israel, whose origins are in the distant past, will come from you on my behalf” (Micah 5:2 NLT). Joseph and Mary made the ninety-mile journey to Bethlehem for the census that Augustus decreed. We like to imagine scenes of Joseph and Mary silhouetted against a full moon on such a beautiful night. But the reality is that it was a very difficult and dangerous journey, especially for a woman in the ninth month of her pregnancy. You would have hoped the hardships would have ended when they finally arrived in Bethlehem. But the Bible says, “There was no room for them in the inn” (Luke 2:7 NKJV). This doesn’t vilify the innkeeper (if there was indeed an innkeeper); it simply presents him for who he was: a man who was preoccupied and busy. You would have thought he could have found it in his heart to make room for a woman who was ready to give birth at any moment. But he sent Joseph and Mary to a barn, or more likely a cave, where the Savior of the world was born. There are people today who are just like this innkeeper. They don’t have any time in their lives for God. But we had better make room for Him. As the Christmas hymn “Joy to the World” reminds us, “Let every heart prepare Him room.” Make time for Him today.
