Author’s note: The article presented here was written some years ago. It was at that time and continues to be meant to inform the Jewish people of their God-ordained destiny. Because God’s Word is absolutely true, the matters involving His chosen nation have not been proven to have fallen by the wayside of history. God’s Word on the Jewish people has only increased in veracity. That is, each and every passing day, God’s Word about Israel issues forth ever stronger Proof that God’s promises to that people—and to all believers in Jesus Christ—will come to pass. All that’s going on at present, with the building worldwide hatred and satanically driven genocidal ranting by even deluded, American university students, gives validation that Jesus Christ is on the very brink of calling believers to Himself as He promised: And when you see all these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your head, for your redemption is drawing near. (Luke 21:28) Israel’s Destiny Israel is the one nation in human history that the Creator of all things chose to be “a people unto himself”: For thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that [are] upon the face of the earth (Deuteronomy 7:6). Jehovah made promises to the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that are staggering in their implications. He promised to bless those who bless the nation that would spring from the loins of these men, and warned about His curse for those who cursed those people. God said to Abraham: Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 12:1–3). Certainly, this promise can easily be verified as coming true throughout recorded history. The modern record, as a matter of fact, is contemporary proof of the veracity of the Almighty and His prophetic promises. Historians–except those blinded by the great deceiver, Lucifer—concede, sometime reluctantly, that Israel’s history in ancient times was a record of greatness. David’s and Solomon’s exploits and accomplishments are legendary, but built upon archaeological facts. Israel has achieved greatness among the nations of this earthly sphere. One point over which secular historians at the minimum raise eyebrows of skepticism is that man received laws and moral codes through Moses, the son of Abraham. Most give Hammurabi’s Code that honor. But, those who believe that God is who He is know that the great human deliverer of the chosen people came down from Sinai with rules for living life, given by the God of Heaven to His creation. Particularly, the Ten Commandments were meant for Israel to follow as fealty to their God, and as example to the rest of the world. God’s promise to make Israel a great nation and to bless all other nations through His chosen people has come true. The United States, for example, has the Ten Commandments upon its walls within government buildings–including the Supreme Court. America, despite the anti-God forces who want to destroy the nation’s moral underpinnings—continues to lead the world in most areas of improvement of the human condition. This is due to the Ten Commandments’ influence upon American ethics and achievement. But, it goes profoundly deeper. Much of America’s successes in technological, medical, and every other category of progress has been contributed by members of the Jewish race. We don’t have to look far to find them. I’ll just mention the most obvious: Albert Einstein, the German-born, genius-physicist who became an American citizen. No more than a cursory study will show, indelibly, that God’s Word is true, when He followed through on the promise to make the people of the book the head of all peoples: And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do [them]. (Deuteronomy 28:13) Then what about the maltreatment, the genocide, against the Jewish race down through the millennia, particularly during the twentieth century? This doesn’t appear to be God making Israel the head of all nations. Here is where God placed some conditions upon the people He chose as destined to become the head of all others. Note the last of the above promise: …if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do [them]. God will make Israel the head of all nations if they will listen to His instructions and commandments. Not only is that where the nation has strayed, but it is where those who say that God is through with Israel–that the Jewish race is no longer God’s chosen—have also strayed. God’s Word says ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God. All have strayed–both Jews AND Gentiles. Israel’s detractors within Christianity say the Jews rejected their Messiah in His first visitation. Therefore, they say, Jehovah has written off the Jews and the nation Israel. The Israel in the land surrounding Jerusalem since May 14, 1948, is not the Israel of the promises, the detractors say. Modern Israel is but an imposter, and God considers it no more within His prophecy for future national or racial greatness than He considers any of modern Israel’s blood-vowed enemies. Absolutely nothing could be farther from the truth. It is true that Israel of Jesus Christ’s day rejected Him as Messiah. It is equally true that those of His own race, the Jews, cried “Crucify him!”—which convinced the Romans to crucify Jesus. But God’s Word says every person is a sinner. We are born into sin–because Adam, the physical father of humankind, disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. Again, God’s Word says that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” The Jews, as a race, are no guiltier than my race, which is Gentile. We all, as the human race, put Jesus Christ to death on the cruel Roman cross. He came to earth, sent by His Father, the God of Heaven, to offer Himself as the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Jesus the Christ–the Jews’ Messiah—came to fulfill all Mosaic Law, the Ten Commandments. In Christ we can now believe, and our sins are cleansed, washed away by Christ’s sacrifice for eternity. Through His shed blood, we ALL–Jew and Gentile–are in the family of God forever. But, each individual must accept this grace gift that replaced the sacrificial system of blood from innocent lambs of the physical sort. We must accept Christ as Savior, as Lord one-on-one with God, because He gives each person the free will to accept or reject His grace offer of salvation. Now, I must come to the sad part—the tragic part of this essay, really—in which I address this nation’s prophetic destiny. God’s Word, the Bible, foretells that the Jewish race as a whole, Israel as a nation, will continue to reject their Messiah, the one who came to them more than two thousand years ago. This rejection will continue to result in God’s promises being delayed until the moment Jesus returns to put an end to humankind’s final war called Armageddon. Israel was scattered after the AD 70 destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple atop Mount Moriah. This was exactly what Jesus predicted in the Olivet Discourse (Matthew, chapter 24; Mark, chapter 13; and Luke, chapter 21). Jesus prophesied that not one stone of the Temple would be left upon another. Titus and the Roman legions saw to the fulfillment of this prophecy. The Jews lost their temple, their city, and, following Hadrian’s purge in AD 135, their geographical homeland area, plus their common language (Hebrew), as a cohesive link to one another as a distinct people. Yet God’s Word foretells that Israel will be a nation again at the end of days–the time just before Christ returns. Again, tragically and sadly, you are back in the land for a time that will be worse than any ever experienced by any people. The prophet Jeremiah foretold this: Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it (Jeremiah 30:7) It will be a time of horrors beyond anything even Adolf Hitler dreamed about perpetrating upon the Jewish race. Can we see a build-up toward that time? Let us consider the words of the prophet Zechariah, and put his prophecies as a template over today’s headlines: The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. (Zechariah 12:1–3). The peoples of the earth are gathering against Israel. Even some leaders within the US, governmental and religious, want Israel to give away land for peace. The “Zionists” are seen as the problem. Israel is basically isolated today, so far as true allies are concerned. The United States stands almost alone as your friend. However, it hurts to say that support is eroding, while some within recent American diplomatic efforts seem to want to exclude your nation from talks involving the small territory you now occupy—territory, incidentally, that is but a fraction of the land the Lord your God granted you through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. These negotiators join the so-called international community in wanting to placate Israel’s hate-filled enemies. This Neville Chamberlain-like, “peace at any cost” maneuvering is not lost on those who want Israel wiped off the map. It is creating a perception of weakness that will tempt them to act on their satanically driven hatreds. Ezekiel foretold of a time at the end of days when a northern coalition will invade from the North (all biblical direction is given from Jerusalem). There is not space here to go into detail, but excellent scholarship has determined the chief attacker will be Russia, joined by many surrounding peoples. This attack will include forces from the area of ancient Persia, which encompasses all of Iran, and considerable surrounding geographical areas. This coalition, I am convinced today’s news headlines indicate, is gathering now. This will be the God-Magog assault described prophetically in Ezekiel, chapters 38 and 39. The one bright prospect, and it is a bright spot, indeed, is that the God of Israel will never let Israel be destroyed; we have His Word on that: This is what the Lord says, “He who appoints the sun to shine by day, Who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—the Lord Almighty is His Name; Only if these ordinances vanish from My sight,” declares the Lord, “will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before Me.” (Jeremiah 31:35–36) The bottom line is that Israel, the Jewish race, is again destined to become hated and persecuted—this time with satanic vitriol that will make Hitler’s Holocaust look somewhat less terrible by comparison. Antichrist, the long-foretold, sometime spoofed, but 100 percent Bible-prophecy guaranteed-to-come-on-the-world-scene tyrant, will implement genocidal policies against the Jewish race that will go far beyond draconian. I didn’t make up this prediction. God’s Word, the Bible, does say it. I accept that Word as the only truth there is. I, and other Christians who know Jesus Christ as Lord, love, or should love, the Jewish people–the nation Israel. God loves you; so must we. You are His chosen. However, I, and they, can’t change what God has prophesied to take place, I’m convinced, in the relatively near future. But, I, and they, are charged with showing individuals within Israel the way to escape the coming time of Antichrist’s regime of horror. Accept Christ now. He is Messiah. And one day, perhaps very soon, He will call His people—Jews and Gentiles who accept Him as Savior—to be with Him forever. This will be the Rapture. (That stunning event in which millions of people will vanish from planet earth can be found in 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 and 1 Corinthians 15:51–55. Jesus spoke of it in John 14:1–3.) The Rapture will take place before that time of horror–the era Jesus called “great Tribulation” (Matthew 24: 21). The people of the nation Israel who are unrepentant (the remnant, for most will die in this last holocaust) will accept Christ at the last moment. Here’s what that future remnant’s Messiah says: And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. (Zechariah 12:9–10) Israel will then be made the head of all nations, with the resurrected King David ruling as co-regent with the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, atop Mount Zion at Jerusalem for one thousand years–the Millennium! Believe it or not, that is your nation’s great God-promised destiny. We who love Israel pray that you will believe. 2024: The Year in Review – Pete Garcia - https://www.rev310.net/post/2024-the-year-in-review It is that time again to put on my speculation hat and attempt to forecast what the coming year will hold. I've done this now since 2011, so for me, it's a bit of a time-honored tradition. As far as my track record for accuracy goes, it is somewhere between 30-50%, which is still better than that of the National Intelligence Council's "Global Trends" birdcage lining. This will be a "one over the world" macro view of things, as I will not be able to drill into everything or else this would be much longer than you'd care to read. To be clear, I cannot see into the future. There are likely to be many black swan-type events that transpire with zero ability to forecast against. These would include things like natural disasters, terrorist events, sudden world wars, pandemic outbreaks, sudden economic calamities, and in particular, the mother of all black swan events...the Rapture of the Church. However, while we aren't going to know the specifics of how things play out exactly, the Bible does give us the general outline.
Thesis: Regardless of what events transpire this coming year, and no matter how random things may appear, ultimately, we know that the world is moving ever closer to that of the world Revelation 13 describes. The question we have to ask ourselves is not whether this will happen, but how fast. How fast will the world move toward this prophetic end state by the end of 2024? Will the world move by the inch, or by the mile toward that final despotic government headed by the Antichrist himself? Geopolitics/Economics/Technology The Americas The United States: Since 2024 is an election year, we should expect a couple of things: first, the cost of living should be brought down (inflation, gas prices, etc.) to hide the reality of the previous three years of Bidenflation, and secondly, that politics will dominate the news cycles. The left is desperately trying to prevent Trump from becoming the Republican nominee again in March, but he likely will. The next stage for him in this process would be to find a suitable VP candidate avoiding his missteps last time in choosing a wishy-washy turncoat Mike Pence. Likely candidates include Vivek Ramaswamy (Rep), Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (Lib), South Dakota governor Kristi Noem (Rep), Miami Mayor Francis Suarez (Rep), and possibly even Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (Rep). Nevertheless, a Trump victory will not just drive the news cycle throughout the year, but his nomination will likely create international news as well if we consider the effects of his nomination abroad. Trump's made no bones about many issues that have the globalists feeling uneasy. His election victory will also signal to other world leaders whether or not they should pursue certain geopolitical opportunities here and now while Biden remains in office, or wait until after Trump's tenure. Issues like Russia finishing operations in Ukraine, China violently repatriating Taiwan, North Korea moving south, or even the strengthening of the Abraham Accords are all likely outcomes we could see play out this year. As for the Democrats, it seems that the two most likely (yet undeclared) candidates who could potentially be used to unseat the Biden-Harris is a Gavin Newsome and Michelle Obama ticket. I don't know who would be Pres or Vice Pres in this particular scenario, but either is a frightening possibility. Given the left's growing desperation to prevent Trump from winning again, it seems that this desperation may come to one of several conclusions:
While I think the last two are a bit extreme (not if you ask Alexa!), I think they are still within the realm of possibility. Overall, I predict a very turbulent year for the United States politically, economically, and nationally. This will be especially true if we continue to pressure Israel into settling for some sort of peace deal with her enemies. Remember, Genesis 12:3 and Zechariah 12:3 are still in effect. Canada: While Trudeau is set to continue in office until October 2025, Canada will continue to veer into the realm of dystopia. What may reign him in somewhat, is Trump's reinstallment as the 47th president. Their relationship in the past was icy, considering the huge chasm of personalities between the two. However, I think if Trump regains office, he may be able to dictate some policies and actions against Trudeau specifically, which may help curb his weasly behavior. Mexico: Mexico is likely one barbaric act away from invoking/inviting US military action in northern Mexico against the cartels regardless of who is in office. American leftists have decried this call for military action as creating another failed state (such as was the case with Iraq). However, it can be reasonably argued that Mexico is already a failed state given its lack of control over the cartels in its northern provinces. With the border remaining a hot-button issue with so many, and the hypocrisy of non-border states walking back their "sanctuary" status (after receiving more illegals than they can handle), it may come about under Biden rather than Trump. South America:
Middle East Israel: Beginning in 2020, Satan began furiously stirring up Israel's enemies both from without and within in a desperate attempt to politically destabilize her. It is this author's opinion that this was done solely to prevent her from moving forward with any ambitions toward building a third temple. This was exacerbated beginning in 2022. Why 2022? Well, that was the year when the world was introduced to the five red heifers from Texas who had, according to Numbers 19:1-10 standards, become the first potentially qualified red heifer(s) to be sacrificed in Israel in two thousand years. According to rabbinical tradition, there have been nine red heifers sacrificed since Moses’ time. Since the destruction of the second temple, no red heifers have been slaughtered. The rabbi Maimonides (1135—1204) taught that the tenth red heifer would be sacrificed by the Messiah Himself (Parah Adumah, ch. 3, § 4). The Temple Institute, a group advocating the construction of a third temple, reports that five flawless red heifers from Texas arrived in Israel on September 15, 2022 (https://templeinstitute.org , accessed 9/22/22). Many people view this event as a fulfillment of prophecy, since the acquisition of a red heifer is a major step forward in plans for a new temple. Their sacrifice would be the first step in ritually purifying the priests, the instruments, and anything connected with a third Jewish temple, and Satan knows this. That is why (in my opinion) Satan has worked tirelessly to destabilize Israel politically (4 elections since 2020), the political uprising against weakening the judicial power in Israel, and the escalation of violence by Israel's bordering enemies, which culminated on October 7th, 2023 with the barbaric surprise attack by the Gaza-based Hamas group and its supporters. This means:
Arab nations: After Israel's painful, but ultimately victorious ends are achieved concerning Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Fatah, etc., I believe that the Abraham Accords will come back into full swing with Saudi Arabia and Egypt officially coming on board, giving total legitimacy to Israel in the Sunni-Arab world. Talks would include the exports of fruits and vegetables, drinking water, energy, and natural gas with ports and pipelines from India to Greece. Non-Arab nations: As to the non-Arab Sunni nations not on board with the Abraham Accords (Turkey, Libya, Yemen, Iraq, Tunisia, etc.), it seems these events push them further into the orbits of Iran and Russia and establish the causus belli for Ezekiel 38-39. Europe Will this be the year that the EU officially decides to divorce the US from NATO? From its disastrous withdrawal from the Afghanistan theatre of operations in 2021 to the equally disastrous military adventurism in Ukraine highlighting NATO's reluctance to engage Russia directly (which is why it was created in the first place) has demonstrably proven that NATO is fundamentally broken and needs to be reorganized and reoriented into an EU-specific military force. An EU-specific defense force has already been in the making since 2017 under the guise of PESCO (Permanent Structured Cooperation). PESCO is a framework for EU member states to deepen defense cooperation and make joint investments in capabilities. I would expect this divorce to be expedited if/when Trump gets back into office. Secondarily, there is a division brewing within the EU itself regarding the unchecked immigration by Muslim nations into Europe who not only fail to integrate with their host nation but actively fight against integration. I believe this will continue to come to a head as more European leaders challenge the "open borders" policies that are tearing their nations up. As a side note, this author believes that when the Gog-Magog coalition forms, it will drain a significant percentage of Muslim military-aged males out of Europe. Russia It has been rumored that Vladimir Putin (age 72) is either seriously or terminally ill with some undeclared medical condition. Whether he lives through 2024 or not, seems sort of irrelevant, given the fact that his number two, Dmitry Medvedev (59 years old) is an aptly qualified candidate to continue Putin's dream of creating a vast, Eurasian empire with Russia at the helm. This author believes that Russia will wrap things up in Ukraine in 2024, securing more land to serve (if nothing more) than a buffer between the West and its border. President Zelensky and the rest of the Ukraine government are presently surviving solely on international handouts, which at the moment, is drying up, given the demands for resources elsewhere in the world. I don't expect that Ukraine will survive the year in its current condition. Look for Russia to secure more of Ukraine and demand the permanent dismantlement of the Ukrainian government. The only option for preventing this would require NATO to enter into direct armed conflict with Russia, which is a prospect no one wants. Asia I believe 2024 will be an incredibly turbulent economic period for China with sharp economic downturns predicted across the board. This means that when China begins to struggle financially, it will project its frustrations outward to 1) stimulate the economy through the business of war, 2) redirect people's anger and frustration against an external enemy (i.e., scapegoat), and 3) use the victory to rebuild political and nationalist momentum. I expect to see them militarily reclaim Taiwan this year while the US is mired down in Ukraine and now the Middle East. I would doubly expect it if Trump wins the 2024 election, which the Chinese would seek to do before he takes office. The fall of Taiwan to China would demand serious reconsideration by other nations in the region (i.e., Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines) as to whether or not the US can still project its military power across the vast Pacific Ocean to counter Chinese ambitions. Africa We should expect to see a continued deterioration amongst the bulk of African nations, while China pursues its 21st century colonialization projects and with Islam making gains in several African nations. Ultimately, we know that Northern Sudan, Somalia, and Libya join the Ezekiel 38-39 Magog coalition in coming against Israel. As for the rest of Africa, each nation has its own set of political, economic, and cultural issues that always seem to keep the continent on the verge of collapse. If another pandemic sweeps the planet, it seems it will either come from here, or China, and would absolutely be used by the WHO to enforce digital health IDs or some other draconian form of global authority. South Africa continues to be the poster child for the abysmal failure of political correctness run amuck. I think the "white flight" from South Africa will continue further exacerbating that nation's ability to function in the BRICS coalition. Economics As the US Dollar (USD) continues its downward spiral into insolvency due to massive governmental debt and the rising of alternative currencies challenging the USD's hegemony on the global markets, 2024 will likely see the acceleration of that spiral. Adding to the USD woes is the rise of crypto-digital currencies that the world seems incredibly eager to implement, such as the Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). As of this writing (December 2023), the implementation of CBDCs is well. With the BRICS coalition focused on the de-dollarization of the global markets, it appears that a perfect storm is brewing that will happen sooner, rather than later, and dethrone the US Dollar. But as the US declines economically, so does this present US-led world order which has been in effect since the end of World War II. It would appear that this decline is not only noticeable or expected but being orchestrated to fail, which is why the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the United Nations (UN) have become so aggressive in the stage-setting to have the Great Reset conditions in place before 2030. What is the Great Reset in a nutshell? Well, it's either corporate socialism or communist capitalism...take your pick. Either way, it is not good and is guaranteed to bring about global tyranny. Conclusion When falls the Coliseum, Rome shall fall; And when Rome falls--the World. Lord Byron Ultimately, we know that Revelation 13 describes a world in which one man controls all of the world's ability to buy and sell. This means the power to control, manipulate, deny, or allow currency transactions must be centralized into one system, which is centralized in the hands of one man. What this tells us is that the USD is going away, as well as every other nation's individual currencies. Furthermore, the world's currency (singular) is going to be digitalized and made accessible only through some form of bio-digital technology embedded into either the hand or the forehead of the bearer, which, according to Scripture triggers a guaranteed trip to the Lake of Fire. Anytime any leader talks about resetting the present world order, it should raise red flags in your mind as to what they really mean, which is dethroning the United States and putting some other force in charge of the planet. For all its faults and flaws, the United States still remains the greatest gentile nation to have ever existed. It is no wonder as to why God kept this nation hidden (Acts 17:26) until the timing was such that it would precede the immediate time just before the seven-year Tribulation. One last great opportunity for the world to receive the Gospel, shelter a fledgling reborn Israel, and set the stage for the world's greatest collapse demanding a global restructuring that allows the kingdom of the Beast to come about. Out of all the militaries in world history, the US Military has come closer than any other nation in history in attempting to master every domain. Thus far, the US has mastered the traditional domains of land, sea, and air, and to a lesser extent, urban, subterranean, cyber, and space warfare. However, the one glaring weakness the US Department of Defense has (as well as the rest of the government for that matter) is its refusal to acknowledge the spiritual domain. This blindness is due in part to the century-long secularization process of our nation's government. I believe that this coming collapse of the US is due to the Rapture of the Church, which is something our government (and most all governments) do not believe is even a possibility. The collapse will necessitate a global restructuring in the geopolitical food chain, and all of the US's military might that is left behind (similar to what we did in Afghanistan) will be acquired by the rising European (Rome 2.0) power that also capitalizes on the vacuums created by the US departure, the collapse of militant Islam, and that of the vanquished Gog-Magog coalition. For believers, this prospect of our soon departure is our beloved, blessed hope. It is also bittersweet, knowing what our departure will trigger...which is the worst time in human history. Paul addresses this juxtaposition by, of all things, pronouns (go figure!) in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-9 noting the stark difference between "you, yourselves, us, and we" and "they and them". I asked a rhetorical question once in a Facebook post a year or two ago. I asked, "Is this what it felt like to be living in the Roman empire right around the time it collapsed?" Given the nature of the cultural coliseums that are presently collapsing under the weight of their political correctness, DEI, SDGs, LGBTQ+, CIA, NSA, FBI, academia, Disney, Hollywood, etc., etc., I can't help but be reminded of this sobering quote: “How did you go bankrupt?" Al Gore’s 2007 claim that by 2014 both the Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets would be gone is typical of just how poorly their projections of doom have fared. Both places have recorded record low temperatures in the past five years. Why such an abysmal record? It’s because the climate emergency is a hoax as are the models upon which it’s based. Why then do the climate alarmists continue to make predictions based on models that have led to bogus prognostications? What factors lie behind the globalists’ passion to prescribe draconian solutions for an emergency that does not exist? THE QUEST TO BE LORDS OF THE EARTH The globalists seek to bring about a one-world government over which they will rule. In order to assume the role as lords of the earth, they need an impending crisis that will unite the nations. They regard the climate emergency as the vehicle that will enable them to fulfill their quest. The year 2030 is magical to those who would imagine themselves as our chieftains; it’s the year that they plan to have everything in place for their future reign. COP28’s agenda aligned precisely with the UN’s Agenda 2030 with its seventeen sustainable development goals. It’s all about controlling the lives of serfs, those that survive the brutal changes ahead, all for the cause of saving the planet. Jeffrey Ludwig, in an American Thinker article, provides this overview of Agenda 2030 in regard to its unmistakable Marxist theme: The most often quoted definition comes from the UN World Commission on Environment and Development: “sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” The earlier ideas and ideals of rights, freedom, equality, and justice are subsumed under meeting of needs and an explicit environmentalism which emphasizes preventing the depletion of scarce planetary resources. Of course, the takeoff is the Marxist axiom that society should be organized around the idea of “from each according to his ability to each according to his needs.” Thus, Marxism is implicit in sustainability, but is nuanced by its alliance with seemingly scientific adjustments and goals related to environmentalisms. Why do the elite believe that only a Marxist world order can solve the “climate emergency?” It’s because both the problem and solution are not only a ruse, but the demonic path by which the elite hope to become lords of the earth. SATAN Our archenemy Lucifer lies behind the motives of these elite powerbrokers. Population reduction, an essential aspect of their agenda, has long been the objective of the globalists and it’s now more evident than ever before in history. The devil is a master deceiver and a murder (John 8:44; 10:10); those advocating the killing off of the “useless eaters” are his pawns. The elite’s intent to shrink the earth’s population to a more manageable number appeared on the Georgia Guidestones in 1980. One of the ten inscriptions on this granite monument set the sustainable level of the human population at five hundred million. That’s just a fraction of the earth’s current population of over 8 billion. Though the Guidestones now lie in ruins, the murderous goal remains set in stone for those who would enslave humanity to their every whim. The Biden administration spokesperson, John Kerry, has stated on several occasions that his plans include the elimination of farming as we know it. In Europe, they plan to kill 100,000 head of cattle for the cause of saving the planet. How do sane people even remotely think that cattle are bad for the planet? How will people survive apart from growing the food and raising animals on the farms? It’s all about reducing the earth’s population to a manageable level. After one hundred years of failed projections of doom, do those sounding the alarm over the climate truly believe we have just seven years left before the environment implodes? Is it possible that many of them believe their own lies as they knock on death’s door? DEPRAVED MINDS In Romans 1:19-32, the Apostle Paul give us remarkable insight into the thinking of those who would bankrupt the world, kill multitudes of people via the total elimination of “fossil fuels,” and subject the remaining population to Marxism. The downward path to such depraved thinking begins with the refusal to acknowledge God, His attributes, and His eternal power. This, according to Romans 1:28, leads to futility in thinking and after that, to the Lord giving them up to a “debased mind to do what ought not to be done.” The word in the Greek, adokimos, applies to something, such as a metal, that doesn’t endure when tested thus proving to be unfit, or “reprobate” as the King James Version translates it. The following verses describe the debased mindset of those with minds that “fail the test.” They become incapable of making morally sound decisions and in many instances, even rationally sound ones: They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. (Romans 1:29-32) These verses aptly describe those leading the charge to subjugate the world under the obscene demands of the climate alarmists. Apart from oil, natural gas, and coal, most people on planet earth could not survive. Either these purveyors of doom cannot think clearly enough to perceive this deadly outcome, or they do not care. Please understand that the phrase “fossil fuels” itself is totally bogus. John Rockefeller coined this term so he could sell his oil and gas at a higher price. The natural gas reserves off the coast of Israel alone are estimated to be a trillion-cubit feet in just this one location! The amount of oil consumed in one day alone throughout the world require an astronomically high number of prehistoric animals to generate. These sources of energy most certainly are most certainly NOT “fossil fuels.” The Lord provided the rich deposits of coal, oil, and natural gas to sustain the earth’s current large population. Without these fuels, billions would eventually perish. Used properly, they do not harm the environment, nor will they raise temperatures to unsafe levels. ECONOMIC SUICIDE The attendees at the COP28 summit in Dubai agreed to work toward the elimination of “fossil fuels,” but did not put a date in place to do so. This objective, of course, is impossible because the windmills themselves need sixty gallons of oil, changed regularly, in order to function. It’s also unfeasible to put the windmills in place apart from the use of copious amounts of diesel fuel to power the many trucks needed to deliver the massive amounts of needed concrete and parts to assemble just one of the windmills. Alex Newman, a fellow believer, author, and award-winning journalist who attended the conference in the United Arab Emirates, wrote the following: “At the conclusion of COP28, there was a sense of euphoria among the climate faithful that they achieved something monumental, specifically securing a document called the ‘UAE Consensus’ to ’transition’ away from fossil fuels,” said Craig Rucker, who attended the summit as head of the conservative-leaning environmental group Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT). “But let’s face it, China has been constructing new coal plants at a rate of two per week and India is expected to increase its coal fleet 25 percent by 2030,” Mr. Rucker told The Epoch Times. “Only Western nations steeped in global warming alarmism will undertake the foolish measures the Greens demand to gut their energy infrastructure.” As populous nations ramp up their dependence on oil, natural gas, and especially coal, western nations such as the United States will continue down a path to certain economic suicide with its green agenda. Mr. Newman also wrote about this in the above referenced article: Stephen Moore, chief economist at FreedomWorks, said the administration’s pledges would shut down 60 percent of U.S. electrical power generation. “Biden is playing a dangerous game of unilateral energy disarmament,” said Mr. Moore. “Whether intentional or not, this radical green agenda will cripple our global economic leadership, cost our economy millions of jobs, and make Americans colder in their homes in the winter and hotter in the summer.” I believe the outcome of such a foolish agenda will be far worse. The left in America are pursuing two conflicting goals. On the one hand, several states now require that all cars sold be electric in the next five to seven years. On the other hand, President Biden seeks to drastically reduce the supply of energy needed to empower these cars. It’s a trainwreck waiting to happen; it’s economic suicide by any other name. Will the self-destructing ruse of saving the environment bring the nations of the world together under a central government? It’s doubtful given the lack of public support for it, but there’s an event looming in the near future that might just accomplish the globalists’ quest for power, at least in the short-term. THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING The Rapture of the Church will at first seem like a dream come true for people with the mindset of Romans 1:28-32, but it will later prove to be the worst nightmare imaginable for them. The elite will have the bona fide global crisis they crave, but their failure to recognize God’s authority or believe Scripture will prove fatal for them as it will for all who worship the beast that’s coming. Someday, hopefully soon, Jesus will take us to glory and initiate the dreadful time judgment known in the Old Testament as the Day of the Lord. Once the devil confirms a covenant with the many, including Israel, the seven-year period we know as the Tribulation will start. During this time, the Lord will pour out His wrath on mankind and by its end, utterly destroy Satan’s kingdom. Not only will the Rapture change everything for those on the earth, but also for us as New Testament saints. Our “citizenship is in heaven” and because of that we “await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body by the power that enables him to subject all things to himself” (Philippians 3:20-21). As God’s wrath descends upon the unbelieving world, we will rest in paradise with our Savior. At the moment Jesus appears to take us to His Father’s house, He will give us immortal bodies that will never perish, get sick, or become weak with the passage of time (John 14:2-3; 1 Corinthians 15:47-55). Its outer bands already fill the skies, affecting people everywhere. The Bible forecasts mighty winds of change and terrible destruction. The full brunt of the storm hasn’t hit yet, but we are already experiencing a powerful foretaste. Confusion, division, rage, brutality, irrationality, folly, meanness, hopelessness, and war are already here and growing. These things are only a sample of what’s coming, but for many, they are bad enough to make it feel like Christmas just won’t be Christmas this year. For others, it’s not world conditions, but personal tragedy that stands in the way of Christmas. The 1964 animated television special, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” depicts Santa Claus giving a dire global weather report. “Well, this is it,” he says. “The storm won't subside by tonight. We’ll have to cancel Christmas.” Absurd as that little fantasy is, something about it feels familiar. In certain years, celebration just doesn’t seem appropriate. During President Kennedy’s visit to Texas in November of 1963, the White House service staff adorned the old mansion with bright and elaborate Christmas decorations. Then an assassin’s bullet cut down the young leader. In short order, Air Force One was flying back to Washington carrying the new President, members of his team, Mrs. Kennedy, and the body of the slain President. The White House Christmas décor had been festive and beautiful an hour before. Now it seemed garish and inappropriate. The staff didn’t have time to take it down, so someone came up with the idea of covering the decorations with black cloth. By the time Mrs. Kennedy returned, the great house had been transformed from a place of celebration to one of mourning. But even then, Christmas was not canceled. It was there. Like its symbols beneath the black cloth, Christmas joy remained, waiting to be uncovered again. A few days later, staff members removed the black, and a subdued but real Christmas celebration went into effect. Neither turmoil nor pain can cancel Christmas. The eternal reality we celebrate rises above all storms. John chapter 1 says, “The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.” That chapter identifies “the Word” as Jesus Christ. You can rock around the Christmas tree, roast chestnuts on an open fire, and let it snow, snow, snow. That’s fine. But it’s not really Christmas. Christmas celebrates God made flesh and dwelling with human beings, a reality so beautiful and dramatic that it takes our breath away. But there’s even more to Christmas. We find it a couple of chapters over. In John 3:16, Jesus said, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” God’s love is real — so real that He gave His only begotten Son to die on a cross for you and for me. That’s what Christmas is about. Storms may rage. Some of them are deeply personal, while others shake the whole world. But storms cannot cancel Christmas. From my family to yours, Merry Christmas! Daily Jot: More Christmas jeer on COVID Vaccines - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com A December 6 University of Cambridge news release admitted there were dangerous immune responses to mRNA COVID vaccines, and that researchers were trying to fix the deadly problem using redesigned synthetic mRNA sequences to “produce their desired effects while preventing hazardous and unintended immune responses.” The Medical Research Council (MRC) Toxicology Unit at Cambridge found that unintended immune response due to “off-target” proteins occurred in one third of the vaccinated patients in its study. That’s what prompted the researchers to redesign the mRNA sequences for better results. Essentially, they added more synthetic genetic code to correct bad synthetic genetic code. The release claims: “Researchers have discovered that misreading of therapeutic mRNAs by the cell’s decoding machinery can cause an unintended immune response in the body. They have identified the sequence within the mRNA that causes this to occur and found a way to prevent ‘off-target’ immune responses to enable the safer design of future mRNA therapeutics.” Senior author of the report, Dr James Thaventhiran, however, is contradictory, claiming the vaccines are safe while saying future safety must be ensured. He says, “Billions of doses of the Moderna and Pfizer mRNA vaccines have been safely delivered, saving lives worldwide. We need to ensure that mRNA vaccines of the future are as reliable. Our demonstration of ‘slip-resistant’ mRNAs is a vital contribution to future safety of this medicine platform.” There is no doubt that vaccines were delivered safely. Crates of them were safely delivered all over the world. Did they save lives? That’s a matter of perception. By admitting that there were unintended immune responses in a third of those vaccinated, that researchers had to add “sequences” to redesign and correct the synthetic mRNA, it is also an admission that the vaccines were not safe and did not perform as intended. This is just another way the “scientific” community double-talks to cover up its mistakes. Meanwhile, billions of people around the world have suffered and are suffering because these “geniuses” continue to say the COVID vaccines are safe and effective when they are neither. With this convenient discovery, Pfizer and Moderna will be able to ask everyone who has lived through their vaccinations to come back for another synthetic mRNA vaccine to correct one of the unintended consequences of its concoction. Just think how many more trips to the jab center it will take to correct the heart problems, autoimmune issues and blood clot risks caused by these “vaccines.” It’s a cash cow that will keep making money for generations. It is also a monumental admission that no one knows the extent of harm from these vaccines. It’s hard for us to think about the fact that those soft baby hands would one day grow into the hands of a strong Man with spikes driven through them. It’s hard for us to think about the fact that the little feet of the baby Jesus would one day be nailed to a cross of wood, and the little forehead of the Babe in the manger, so loved by His mother, would one day be crowned with thorns. But know this: He came with a purpose. He didn’t come to this earth simply to show us how to live a good life and give us the greatest teachings that humanity has ever heard. Nor did He come merely to perform miracles and show us the truth about life. Jesus Christ did that and more. Yet He was born in Bethlehem with the express purpose of going to a cross and dying. From the moment He arrived on Planet Earth, Jesus Christ lived in the shadow of the cross. He was born to die so that we might live. The wise men had insight into His purpose when they brought the unusual gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. They gave Him gold because the Child would be a King. They gave Him frankincense because they recognized that He would be our High Priest representing us to God. And they brought Him myrrh, which is used for embalming. They recognized the King, the High Priest, would die for our sins. And He would give us the ultimate gift, which the Bible calls a “gift too wonderful for words” (2 Corinthians 9:15 NLT). Or, as the New King James Version renders it, “His indescribable gift.” Have you ever received an indescribable gift? Probably not. You might be able to describe an unusual gift, or perhaps you saw it somewhere before. But this gift from God is indescribable. It is inexpressible. And it is eternal. Let’s say that someone hands you a beautifully wrapped box and says, “Merry Christmas!” So, you reach out and take the gift, and then they say, “That will be $29.95.” That isn’t a gift. That’s a sale. However, God has offered us a gift, no strings attached. Although it is free to us, it was bought with the blood of Christ. It’s the gift of eternal life. So, what do we need to do? We need to reach out and take the gift, receive it, enjoy it, and use it. God is offering us the forgiveness of all our sin. Don’t miss that. God is offering us the removal of our guilt. If you’ve never asked Christ to come into your life, if you’ve never asked Him to forgive your sins, if you’ve tried to find fulfillment in things, relationships, or even in Christmas itself and always come up short, then it’s time to come to the God whom Christmas is all about.
