"For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved" (2 Thessalonians 2:7-11). Are Satan, fallen angels, and demons real and active in the world today? A 2015 Barna study suggested more than half of self-described Christians in America do not believe that Satan, fallen angels, and demons are real, personal beings. This brand of Christianity might be better described as Western Christianity which has been heavily influenced by a Western or Naturalistic Worldview which tends to deny much when it comes to the reality of the supernatural world. Such a belief is entirely contrary to the biblical revelation and worldview. In both the Old and New Testaments, the clear teaching of scripture is these evil, malevolent beings exist and spiritual warfare is real and sometimes dangerous. Furthermore, I believe the Bible predicts what can only be described as an increase in demonic activity and deception in the last days leading up to and including the final seven years of human history prior to the Return of Jesus and the establishment of His Millennial Kingdom. A biblical worldview teaches there is a material and immaterial world. To put it another way, there is seen and an unseen realm--a physical and non-physical reality. Although the Bible tells us some things about the unseen realm much of its reality is a mystery to us. Although we are introduced to spiritual or unseen realities in the Old Testament much of what we know today comes straight out of the New Testament--Satan and other fallen angels, as well as, demons are real, personal beings. Demons, also known as unclean spirits, harass, oppress, infest, and sometimes possess people. Furthermore, these malevolent spirits are, along with the good angels and even believers, involved in a cosmic spiritual battle most of which occurs in the unseen realm but often spills over into our physical reality. Consider, for example, Daniel 10:12-13, "Then he said to me, 'Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the king of Persia." The Prophet Daniel prayed for understanding but the answer did not come for twenty-one days. This three-week delay was due to a fallen angel who opposed the messenger Gabriel--a good angel who stands in the presence of God--in spiritual warfare. This account tells us Satan engages in spiritual warfare in an attempt to thwart the will of God and to influence people and nations against God and His people. The New Testament affirms this reality. Paul writes, "Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:11-12). Peter writes, "Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." The Bible further predicts an increase in demonic activity in the last days. Much of the focus is on the deceptive nature of this activity. Jesus warned several times in Matthew 24 alone to be careful so as not to be deceived. "And Jesus answered and said to them, 'See to it that no one misleads you'" (Matt. 24:4). "Then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or 'There He is,' do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect" (Matt. 24:23-24). Even the Apostle Paul predicted the coming of the Antichrist would be, "in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders" (2 Thess. 2:9). Finally, John predicts the return of those fallen angels who sinned in Genesis 6 by going after strange flesh with ultimately produced the Nephilim--that race of giants which ultimately led God to bring a flood upon the earth to destroy all flesh save for eight souls carried safely on the ark which Noah and his sons built. John writes, "Then the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key to the bottomless pit was given to him. He opened the bottomless pit, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened from the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth, and power was given them, as the scorpions of the earth have power... And they were not permitted to kill anyone, but to torment for five months; and their torment was like the torment to f a scorpion when it stings a man. And in those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, and death flees from them... They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon" (Revelation 9:1-6, 11). A biblical worldview, then, calls for a sound theology of and understanding about the existence of Satan, fallen angels, and demons. It further calls for the same in relation to the reality of spiritual warfare. We do not fight this battle like the armies of the world would fight. "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). The weapons of our warfare are further described for us in detail in Ephesians 6:10-20. Paul calls these weapons, "the full armor of God." This armor includes (1) the belt or girdle of truth, (2) the breastplate of righteousness, (3) the gospel sandals of peace, (4) the shield of faith, (5) the helmet of salvation, (6) the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, and (7) a consistent lifestyle of prayer and petition. The idea of putting on this armor, according to John MacArthur, "Conveys the idea of permanence, indicating that armor should be the Christian's sustained, life-long attire." Three different times in this passage we are admonished to stand firm. Again, MacArthur notes, "Christians [are] to take a firm position in the spiritual battle against Satan and his minions. Whether confronting Satan's efforts to distrust God, forsaking obedience, producing doctrinal confusion and falsehood, hindering service go God, bringing division, serving God in the flesh, living hypocritically, being worldly, or in any other way rejecting biblical obedience, this armor is our defense." Spiritual warfare is real. Satan, fallen angels, and demons are real. I believe the Bible is clear we will witness an increase in demonic activity leading up to the start of Daniel's 70th Week and continuing throughout that time. We may even begin to witness visible spillover from the unseen realm as this last days spiritual warfare heats up. I would include so-called UFO and alien activity in this vein, as well as, outright demonic attacks upon the church in general and individual Christians (and families) in particular. I am already experiencing such attacks in my own life and family. I know other watchmen who are also experiencing increasingly difficult spiritual attacks. We must pray for one another. We must clothe ourselves with the full armor of God and pray earnestly for one another. Pray that God would protect all of us--especially our children--from all spiritual dangers. Pray that the church would wake up to the reality of the unseen realm and the spiritual battles raging around and among us. It's time to get serious about these things. Jesus is coming soon for His church. I believe Satan and his minions are fully aware of this and realize their time is short, so they are pulling out all the stops. They are doing everything possible in order to thwart the will of God and take as many as they can to hell with them. The answer to that is simple, yet profound--pray for protection and proclaim the gospel! Oh, and make sure the demons know you by name (see Acts 19:11-20). At the same instant, it is both maddeningly reprobate and yet reflective of the glory of God. We witness tremendous abominations at the same time that God reassures us that He has everything under control. “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.” – Charles Dickens (A Tale of Two Cities) More pronounced today than even during the era Dickens wrote about, our world has become a cacophony of contradictions. Knowledge is accessible in volumes never before imagined, and yet wisdom is tragically illusive. Material prosperity and riches have raised our life expectancy and standard of living, and yet many people are plagued with a sense of perpetual jealousy and impending doom. This is the dual reality of our age. The Signs of the Times are multiplying all around us. Some are so obvious that even the undiscerning can recognize them. Natural signs are increasing in frequency and intensity — although the Christ-shunning world is eager to chalk them up to global warming, climate change, or whatever the latest fear-mongering fad dictates. Signs of society’s breakdown are evident in crime statistics, human pathologies multiplying by the day, and a sense of foreboding and despair that is infecting our young people. The signs of technology are aligning with Bible prophecy at an incredible rate. People are being misled into clamoring for a globalist approach to world politics that presages the alignment of nations in the end times. And, exceeding all the other categories, Israel shines as a prophetic beacon proclaiming that God’s promises are still “yes, and amen.” Touching on cause and solution to our current state is the category of Spiritual Signs. Like so many other indicators, many of them are becoming more pronounced by the day. Looking about, it would be easy to be “tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming” (Ephesians 4:14). Certainly, Satan wants us deceived, demoralized, and defeated. However, not all the Spiritual Signs are negative; some are tremendously positive. Before we examine the negative and positive aspects of this category, let’s remember the “bottom line up front” with Peter’s word of encouragement regarding our own spiritual well-being. He advised us to be consistent in “holy conduct and godliness…” (2 Peter 3:11). So, as we consider the Spiritual Signs multiplying around us, let’s determine to keep our eyes on Jesus. Negative Signs It is undeniable that we are witnessing a falling away from moral truth and spiritual discernment in our society. Throughout the Western world — a prominent portion of “Christendom” because of a shared foundation of Christian identity — Judeo-Christian values are being abandoned with glee. In just the past 2-3 generations, Christianity has fallen from prominence as the default religion of most Americans. It is now the ostracized faith of people considered “troublers” by the broader society (1 King 18:17). Although secularists assert that mankind can evolve away from religion, the truth is that other ideologies and false religions fill the void when Christianity is rejected. Consider some of the tragic manifestations of this negative trend: Rise In Cults and Demonic Worship After Roman Emperor Constantine embraced Christianity early in the 4th Century, Christianity became the dominant religion in the West. What we know as the Catholic Church held primacy until the Reformation, when break-away Protestant denominations determined to reform the Church back to its Biblical foundations. Until the 1800s, there was little divergence from basic Christianity. But over the last 150 years, the world has seen an explosion of religious denominations, sects, and faiths — with many qualifying as outright cults, such as:
Scripture specifically warns that anyone who preaches a gospel contrary to the Gospel declared by Jesus Christ “is to be accursed!” (Galatians 1:8). Increased Apostasy and Heresy Let’s first distinguish between apostasy and heresy. Apostasy refers to a former believer (or denomination) that declares himself, herself, or itself no longer a believer — meaning a total rejection of Christian faith by one who once claimed to be regenerated. Heresy on the other hand can be likened to a little leaven that affects the whole loaf. It happens when someone attempts to blend a false teaching in with Scriptural truth, inevitably undermining the Gospel and the Person of Christ. Paul foretold that apostasy would become more pronounced in “latter times” as some will “fall away from the faith, paying attention to the deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.” (1 Timothy 4:1). Regarding any who would exchange the truth of Christ to return to paganism, Peter said, “It would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away…” (2 Peter 2:20-22). Regarding heresy, Peter also warned, “There will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction” (2 Peter 2:1). Not only does heresy deny Jesus, it also causes destructive divisions within the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 11:19). True followers of Jesus must be on guard, testing the spirits and every supposed doctrine to see if it adheres to the Word of God. Any teaching or teacher who denies Christ “is of the antichrist” according to John (1 John 4:1-6). That is why Jesus, Paul, and Jude were so quick to warn against wolves in sheep’s clothing (Matthew 7:15-23, 1 Timothy 1:3-7, 2 Timothy 1:13- 14, and Jude 1:3-16). After a first and second warning, Paul tells us to simply reject such a person (Titus 3:10-11). We regularly highlight the accelerating decline of denominations that formerly held to “the faith once for all handed down to the saints” (Jude 1:3). With great sadness, these include:
While this is just a short list of denominations that have gravitated far to the Left, individual pastors are also susceptible to drifting away from orthodox Biblical faith. Numerous studies have documented that closet atheists are engaged as pastors and church leaders in virtually every denomination in America. An Epidemic of Deception and Satan Worship How could any of this occur unless people willingly stray? Billy Graham testified that his one-time colleague in evangelism, Charles Templeton, experienced a crisis of faith. He ended up rejecting Christianity altogether — denying the Lord who he had once served. His adamance caused Graham to struggle for a time. But Billy Graham remained true. Responding to Templeton’s doubts, he said: When I take the Bible literally, when I proclaim it as the Word of God, my preaching has power. When I stand on the platform and say, “God says,” or “The Bible says,” the Holy Spirit uses me. There are results. Wiser men than you or I have been arguing questions like this for centuries. I don’t have the time or the intellect to examine all sides of the theological dispute, so I’ve decided once for all to stop questioning and accept the Bible as God’s Word. Templeton yielded to deception and was led astray. Clearly, sixty-six years later, scores of people have embraced deception and followed the same path to destruction. Church attendance has plummeted, and the number of non-affiliated “nones” has skyrocketed. While not every Christ-denier will overtly worship the devil, their eternal destiny is the same. Incredibly, a growing number are adding insult to injury by verbally affirming their allegiance to Satan. The so-called Church of Satan existed only at the extreme fringes of American society until recent years. Now, Satan worship is not only widely tolerated, it is also celebrated at events like the Grammys and gleefully broadcast on networks like CBS for the entire nation to revel. Someone fully grounded in, and committed to, the Word of God and relying on the Holy Spirit should be immune from drifting away from the Lord. Many people have had “crises of faith.” One mark of an overcomer is that they overcome such fiery darts. Persecution Of Christians The final example of a negative spiritual sign is a precipitous rise in the persecution of Christians. When I first began preaching with Lamb & Lion Ministries in 2013, I predicted that, in some fanatically-liberal corner of America, a Christian would be jailed for their faith sometime within the next 5-7 years. By the next year, I moved the timeline up to 3-5 years. I never dreamed it would happen the following yea r— in my home state of Kentucky! When the US Supreme Court handed down its Obergefell decision on June 26, 2015, the liberal governor in Kentucky immediately mandated that every county clerk had to personally endorse his newly minted same-sex marriage license certificate. Out of 120 counties, only three clerks were willing to risk their income and pension to oppose such an outlandish order. Governor Steve Beshear instructed his administration to fire up the furnace of public opinion and throw in Kim Davis. Eventually, he would insist she be jailed for flaunting his edict. Five years later, Beshear’s son held the same office. As he reacted to the supposed Covid crisis, he singled out Christian churches for heavy-handed intimidation and threats — in flagrant violation of the First Amendment to the US Constitution. I could speak to the arrest of an Iranian pastor (Ramin Parsa) sharing his faith in a private conversation at the Mall of America. Or the imprisonment of Christian pastors Artur Pawlowski and James Coates in Canada for refusing to bow to the persecution of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. We could talk about Christian faith under attack around the world — with little pushback from our current US Administration. I personally know many pastors and missionaries who testify that conditions are worsening around the world year by year because America no longer cares about defending religious liberty in general and Christian evangelistic efforts in particular. These negative signs weigh upon the soul of anyone who wants to serve the cause of Christ. They bear testimony to the battles our enemy seems to be winning. Sensing his soon demise, Satan is pulling out all the stops to distract, demoralize, and deceive. But greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Before we turn to some very positive signs, please pause to pray. Ask for tough and persevering faith from the One who has overcome the grave — and promises to hold you tight, as you too overcome the world. Restraining the Sino Giant – Terry James - https://terryjamesprophecyline.com/2023/06/05/restraining-the-sino-giant/ It’s my opinion that we cannot overemphasize the importance of the Work the Holy Spirit is accomplishing at this moment in history. The Third Person of the Godhead – sent here by the Lord Jesus upon Ascending to the Throne room in Heaven to dwell within each and every believer of the Church Age (Age of Grace) – is presently doing truly phenomenal acts of Restraint. While, on the surface of Planet Earth, evil seems to be uncontrolled and even uncontrollable, God the Holy Spirit has a Firm Hold on Heaven’s Chain attached to the old serpent’s Collar of Restraint. We have looked at this supernatural Restraint a number of times in these columns. And doing so should provide a degree of confidence and comfort. God will absolutely not, in this present dispensation, allow Satan and his minions to get away with all their nefarious wickedness. We look in this instance of exactly the kind of holding back the Luciferian plans with regard to a specific, big-time prophetic entity scheduled to be unleashed at some point yet future. The Scripture, again, that promises God’s Restraint is the following. “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he [the Holy Spirit] who now letteth [Restrains] will let [Restrain], until he [the Holy Spirit] be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked [Antichrist] be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming” (2 Thes 2:7-8). Nuclear war is, at present, the biggest fear of most every diplomat around the world. It seems to me that the average person – at least here in the U.S. – has nowhere near the fear of a nuclear war as did that of my generation those years ago. I’ve expressed a number of times of being worried as a teenager in high school, reading in the school library during study hall about how the Soviets were threatening to nuke anyone who stood in their way of dominating all of Europe – and anywhere else they wished to dominate. So, with the diplomats who are supposedly in the know about how serious are the threats made by China, as we will look at here, I should be worried, at least to the extent I was worried as that teenager all those years ago. But I’m not worried – not in the least. There, of course, is a very good reason. I know what God’s Word has to say about your and my future. Bible Prophecy, to me and to those who view it from the preTrib perspective, provides both the confidence and the comfort I mentioned above. The prospects a little further out in the future, on the other hand, should terrify with abject fear and dread those who don’t know Jesus for Salvation. Nuclear war is almost a certainty as part of the Tribulation era. And China is, I’m certain, to be perhaps the deadliest of all entities in bringing forth destruction – so far as consideration of human involvement in destruction is concerned. Bible Prophecy foretells that there will be a force to rival that of the great fuehrer of the Fourth Reich. The power will come from the oriental world. John the Revelator was given the prophecy about this tremendous force by the angel assigned to relay the Message from God’s Throne. We are told of this military juggernaut in two prophetic passages. “And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them” (Revelation 9:13-16). “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared” (Revelation 16:12). This huge military force will approach the occidental world from the far reaches of the oriental world. The numbers are staggering to consider! China looks at this time in history to be the King of the kings of the east. And they are threatening to invade Taiwan at any time, expressing their willingness to use even nuclear weaponry against the U.S. to accomplish their intention. The same thing that has kept the nuclear Genie in the bottle is obviously now being used to slow this great military power – to keep the Sino giant bottled up, so to speak. I believe it is a powerful example of God’s Restraining Hand. The following excerpt might further enlighten. Taiwan’s foreign minister said last week that the US and Taiwan are in talks on the possibility of the island being brought under Washington’s nuclear umbrella, a step that would make a catastrophic war between the US and China much more likely. Taiwanese Foreign Minister Joseph Wu made the comments before Taiwan’s parliament, the Legislative Yuan. Wu declined to detail the talks when pressed if Taiwan had asked the US to bring the island into its nuclear umbrella. “Regarding the discussion of this issue with the United States, it is not suitable for me to make it public here,” Wu said, according to The South China Morning Post. Many of the US’s allies are considered to be under the protection of the US nuclear umbrella, including Japan, South Korea, and every member of NATO. Giving such a guarantee to Taiwan would mean the US could use nuclear weapons if China invades the island or if war breaks out by other means. But I see it as the Holy Spirit doing His Restraining Work. The Chinese communists were becoming aggressive to the point of doing something reckless and invading with conventional force. Being so near their target in proximity, they could have perhaps gotten ahead of their prophesied role as the hegemonic King of the region. America, uncharacteristically of this particular president, is now thinking of making Taiwan a protectorate under the U.S. nuclear umbrella. Therefore, once again, that nuclear Genie hasn’t gotten out of the bottle because even CCP dictators don’t want to be incinerated in a nuclear holocaust. In my view of things, this prophesied force of mass destruction – the Sino giant – is thereby Restrained by the Hand of God, using a weak presidential administration to do the Restraining. It is exciting, not troubling, to see the Holy Spirit at Work, and doing so with ease. It is a Mighty God we serve, indeed. All this points, of course, to the soon removal of the Restrainer from Planet Earth – at least removal in regard to the level He is Restraining at present. Wherever the Holy Spirit goes, believers in whom He dwells go. It’s exciting because we are talking about Rapture being very soon! New Target: Homeschoolers - By Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com/ww-6-4-2023/ The Washington Post called their long, long article “immersive reporting and narrative writing.” But it felt like a hit piece on the rapidly growing homeschool movement in the United States. Homeschoolers now have a target on their backs. The article took aim at them, and others will follow. So, if you are a part of the homeschooling community, get ready. The powers-that-be are about to do everything they can to bring you down. The Post’s May 30, 2023, article carried the headline, “The revolt of the Christian homeschoolers.” You would think from this headline that the homeschooling movement in the United States is dying. But that’s not true. In fact, it is exploding in popularity. According to Education Week, “American families homeschooling at least one child grew from 5.4% in spring 2020 to 11.1% in fall 2021, according to a U.S. Census Bureau analysis. The number of Black families choosing to homeschool increased five-fold during that time, from 3.3% to 16.1%.” Many factors are driving the movement. First, lots of parents are not happy with public school curricula. There seems to be ever less emphasis on the basic life skills of math, reading, and writing. This brings us to a second factor — the terrible results in public schools. They keep making “standardized” tests easier, but scores continue to go down despite easier tests. This is especially true among boys. Other parents fear for their children’s physical and mental wellbeing at public schools — many being overrun by bullies and bullying. There are several other factors involved, but you get the idea. I’m not saying whether parents should or should not homeschool. Every child and every family present a unique situation. But I do believe it is a brave and reasonable choice. The elites who believe they should run everyone’s lives don’t like it. If you homeschool your children or hope to in the future, you need to be aware of a coming backlash. Elites and their friends in the media seem to be gearing up for a push to make you a pariah. The Post article made homeschoolers seem like child abusers, with nefarious motives for wanting to keep their kids away from public schools. I think you should prepare yourself for more such attacks. Back in 1972, the Supreme Court made a crucially important ruling. In Wisconsin v. Yoder, it said that Amish parents have a right to keep their children out of public schools for religious reasons. That should mean that you have the same right, but we can expect that to be challenged in the future. We can also expect more hit pieces from the mainstream media. The overall success of homeschooling cannot be denied. Parents willing to take on such a huge commitment should be praised. At the same time, anyone considering the move should be aware that it is a huge commitment, and there will be challenges. Still, for those who do it right, the rewards will be even greater. The battle for the minds of our children rages on. Whether you have children, grandchildren, or none of the above, this is a matter for serious prayer and resolute action. These kids need you. Pray for them, befriend them, and encourage them in the Lord. From drag queen story hours for pre-school and elementary to anti-bullying classes in schools to sexual education to diversity and inclusion requirements, the target is children. In any other time in history, this type of activity would be considered a sexual offense against minors and prosecuted as such. Today, however, and especially this month of June, the government, corporations and the mainstream media are promoting the broadening spectrum of sexual deviancy for children. Here’s the proof. On June 2, White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, a lesbian, opened the daily briefing with a monologue on how the Biden Administration is supporting targeting children with the LGBTQ+++ agenda. She said, “Now, yesterday, as you all know, marked the first day of Pride Month. The Biden-Harris administration joins Americas across the country to celebrate the strength, resilience, and bravery of the LGBTQI+ community and reaffirm our commitment to fight for equality and freedom for all people… DOJ (Department of Justice) is actively supporting challenges to state laws that target transgender kids.” She was referring to laws banning puberty blockers and sex change surgeries on minors. This support is so insidious that it is found in public school laws and policy across the country. Section 27-21 of the Illinois public school statute says, “the teaching of history shall include a study of the roles and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in the history of this country and this State.” Maryland, Ohio and other states’ public school policies compel students to affirm transgender and gay rights, even counseling, drugs and surgeries without parental knowledge. Parents of children attending Saticoy Elementary School in Hollywood, Ca., protested the school’s commemoration of “Pride Month” for the kids. Protests erupted into some pushing and shoving with LGBTQ+++ counter protestors, who taunted and bullied the parents. At another California school, a teacher was suspended for teaching her students how to have pleasure during anal sex, and where to find sex toys that will stimulate the prostate gland. Rasmussen Reports national polling found that 58% of likely US voters approve of making it illegal to perform sex-change surgery on minors and 71% of American Adults agree that “there are two genders, male and female.” And it appears that Americans are showing their opposition to “Pride Month” with their pocket books—Target, Bud Light and other corporations are backing off their LGBTQ+++ promotions after losing tens of billions of dollars. Christ said in Luke 17:2, “It is better for him if a millstone is hung around his neck and he is thrown into the sea, than that he may cause one of these little ones to sin.” When it comes to this evangelizing and grooming of children, the government, corporations and the media should hear this message loud and clear: Leave our children alone. It’s hard for us to understand how people living in a Tinseltown world could be miserable. But they have the same problems we have. The difference is they have a lot of the things that we dream of, yet they see the emptiness and futility of it all. Solomon saw this as well. He wrote, “Everything is wearisome beyond description. No matter how much we see, we are never satisfied. No matter how much we hear, we are not content. History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new” (Ecclesiastes 1:8–9 NLT). It’s the conclusion that everyone will come to eventually. Of course, we can discover it the hard way, or we can discover it the easy way. We can take God’s word for it, or we can foolishly chase after all the things that, in the end, will leave us empty. And some people who go down that road will lose their lives in the process. You don’t have to find out the hard way. You can come to God, and He will fill the void in your life. We all were born with an emptiness inside. No earthly relationship will fill it. No amount of sex or possessions will fill it. Nor will knowledge or morality or even good, clean living. We were designed to know God. And until you come into a relationship with Him, you will keep coming up empty, time and again, just as Solomon did. When you turn to God in faith and let Him forgive your sins, He will fill the void in your life—a void that only He can fill.
