The Coming Global Famine - Britt Gillette - http://www.end-times-bible-prophecy.com/the-coming-global-famine.html
Sometime around 4,000 years ago, the Pharaoh of Egypt summoned an imprisoned slave named Joseph. Two dreams bothered Pharaoh, and none of his magicians or wise men could interpret them (Genesis 41:1-8). In his first dream, Pharaoh saw seven fat, healthy cows grazing by the Nile. Then seven thin cows appeared and ate the seven fat ones. In his second dream, Pharaoh saw seven large, beautiful heads of grain. Then seven shriveled heads of grain appeared and swallowed up the first seven. Pharaoh asked Joseph to interpret the dreams. "I don't have the power to do this," Joseph told him. "But God does, and He can tell you what it means." Joseph went on to tell Pharaoh the meaning of the dreams. He said seven years of famine will follow seven years of plenty. In response, Pharaoh made Joseph the second most powerful man in Egypt (Genesis 41:40). He put him in charge of the land, and Joseph collected one-fifth of the food produced for the next seven years. He stored up massive amounts. When the famine came, it hit neighboring nations hard. People from the lands all around Egypt came to buy grain from Joseph (Genesis 41:57). Eventually, the people ran out of money. They had nothing to buy food. So they gave Joseph their livestock in exchange for food (Genesis 47:17). When their livestock was gone, they offered their land and themselves (Genesis 47:19). Before long, Pharaoh owned all the land in Egypt (Genesis 47:20). The people became his slaves, and Pharaoh's power multiplied. Like many stories in the Bible, the story of Joseph and Pharaoh is also a symbolic prophecy. It foreshadows a coming time of great famine when, like Pharaoh, one man will gather immense power over the known world. The seven lean years of Pharaoh's dream mirror the seven year period known as the Tribulation. Like the seven lean years, the Tribulation will begin with widespread famine. And in an effort to survive, people throughout the world will willingly give their power and wealth to one man - just as they gave their power and wealth to Pharaoh four thousand years ago. Do we have any reason to believe such a famine is on the horizon? Unfortunately, we do. Rising Food Prices The political push to move away from fossil fuels to renewable energy, coupled with the supply/demand distortions caused by the COVID shutdowns, has resulted in much higher energy prices. This is particularly true in Europe where the accelerated push for green energy has led to a surging energy crisis. What does this have to do with rising food prices? As Zero Hedge points out in this article: "You can't make fertilizer without urea and natural gas. As the price of either of these goes higher (both are), it significantly impacts the price of fertilizer. The price of fertilizer impacts in turn the price of food. This is because fertilizer is the second largest cost component of most agricultural production. The first being... you guessed it, diesel." The rising cost to grow food then impacts the feed cost for cattle, hogs, chickens, and other animals. This means higher costs for meat producers. Throw in increased costs for transportation, a global shortage of workers, and pandemic-induced supply chain problems, and the rising cost of food doesn't show any signs of slowing down soon. Supply Chain Issues Global supply chain issues are another reason we see rising food prices, but the broken supply chain is the primary reason many grocery store shelves have gone bare. While increased demand due to COVID lockdowns and hoarding play a factor, the majority of these shortages are due to problems rippling through the global supply chain. In some cases, a lack of key inputs such as aluminum, cardboard, or artificial sweeteners means manufacturers can't produce or package certain items at the scale they used to (if at all). This results in fewer available products, and thus, empty shelves. Supply chain problems have also resulted in a global shortage of urea. Not only is urea a key component in fertilizer, it's also a key ingredient in the diesel exhaust fluid AdBlue. AdBlue is used in cars, trucks, buses, and other vehicles equipped with a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system for reducing emissions. All the diesel vehicles in South Korea and Australia use AdBlue, and China supplies 97% of South Korea's AdBlue and 80% of Australia's. Due to the rising cost of fertilizer (and the need to feed more than a billion people), China recently banned the export of urea. This has taken a heavy toll on AdBlue inventories in those countries and the dwindling supplies threaten to wreak havoc on their economies, which are currently the 10th and 13th largest in the world. Even worse, if Australia and South Korea can't source new supplies of urea, and they run out of existing inventory, all their trucking will come to a standstill. If trucking stops, their grocery store shelves go bare, and the real prospect of a famine in these advanced economies will become a reality. Given the severity of the situation, we really need to wonder, why would China take such a drastic measure? China is Hoarding Grain With such a large population, it makes sense for China to be concerned about rising fertilizer and food prices. Hungry populations revolt, and China's government fears a revolution. From that standpoint, a ban on the export of urea makes sense as it's a critical component in growing food. But China's recent actions go beyond the urea export ban. According to Nikkei Asia, China is also hoarding massive amounts of grain. In an article titled "China Hoards Over Half the World's Grain, Pushing Up Global Prices," they point out China (which has only 20% of the world's population, is expected to have "69% of the globe's maize reserves in the first half of crop year 2022, 60% of its rice and 51% of its wheat." The article speculates one of the reasons for China's food stockpile is to offset "food uncertainties due to factors such as its deteriorating relations with the U.S. and Australia, which could drastically alter the import environment." In other words, since China doesn't produce enough food domestically to feed itself, it needs to stockpile enough food in case imports from the U.S. and Australia go away. The question is, why would they go away? Rumors of War "Rumors of war" have been common since the end of World War II, but the current situation is different. Rarely have we seen the prospect of several high profile conflicts erupting at the same time. China threatens to invade Taiwan on an almost daily basis. If China does invade, the United States claims it will defend Taiwan. This means two major nuclear powers could potentially go to war. Could that be why China is hoarding food? Even if an invasion of Taiwan doesn't result in a U.S. military response, it would almost certainly lead to major economic sanctions from the U.S. and Australia. Is this an indication China is preparing for an invasion? The probability rises every day, especially due to U.S. involvement in the current Russia-NATO dispute over Ukraine. If Russia invades Ukraine, and the U.S. does nothing after saying it would defend Ukraine, then China may feel emboldened to invade Taiwan. And if the U.S. does defend Ukraine, China may believe the U.S. is too distracted to defend Taiwan and seize the moment to invade. Meanwhile, Iran and Israel continue to generate their own rumors of war. If any of these areas erupt into war, the result will be a disaster for the global economy. Oil prices will go much higher. Global trade will contract. Supply chains will break down even further, and food prices will skyrocket. Worse than that, a major conflict could lead to food shortages throughout the world. Is this what China is preparing for? The Coming Famine While these events may or may not plunge the world into a worldwide famine in the near future, the Bible is clear - a global famine will strike the world during the Tribulation. This famine will follow a global war (Revelation 6:4). In the aftermath of this war, destruction will be widespread. People will be scattered. The global supply chain will be in ruins. The Bible describes this famine in detail (Revelation 6:5-6). Riding on a black horse and holding a pair of scales, Revelation 6 says a voice calls out, "A loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley for a day's pay. And don't waste the olive oil and wine." This indicates a global famine. The rider's scales suggest a need to carefully measure and ration the food supply. We know because the voice that calls out indicates a scarcity of food. Three loaves of barley are about one pint. Many believe this is the minimum amount of food needed to survive. Yet this verse is telling us a time is coming when an entire day's wages will only buy enough food to survive. When this happens, it's possible the Genesis story of Joseph and Pharaoh will play out a second time. Desperate for food, most of the world will willingly give their wealth and power to anyone who can feed them. Just as in ancient Egypt, when the dust finally settles, one man will control everything. The signs of the times are all around us. Jesus is coming. Experts Are Warning That Empty Shelves And Food Shortages Are Going To Continue For Many Weeks To Come - by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/experts-are-warning-that-empty-shelves-and-food-shortages-are-going-to-continue-for-many-weeks-to-come/ The term “return to normal” is being thrown around a lot these days, but will things ever truly return to the way that they were before the pandemic came along? I don’t think so. From an economic standpoint, an extraordinary amount of lasting damage has been done over the past two years. A seemingly endless list of major problems has thrown thousands upon thousands of critical supply chains into a complete and utter state of chaos, and this has resulted in some very painful shortages. For quite a while, the mainstream media kept insisting that the shortages would soon be gone, but now they are being forced to admit the truth. If you can believe it, NPR has even published a major story about the growing shortages in this country… No, you’re not imagining it. Some grocery store shelves are bare again, conjuring bad memories of spring 2020 for many. Social media is rife with images of empty supermarket aisles and signs explaining the lack of available food and other items. Stores such as Aldi have apologized to customers for the shortages. Nobody in the mainstream media ever imagined that the shortages would last this long. For certain items such as computer chips, the duration of the shortages is now approaching two full years. Of course fear of Omicron has made things even worse, and one expert interviewed by NPR suggested that supermarkets in the U.S. are now facing a “perfect storm”… “We’re really seeing the perfect storm,” Phil Lempert, editor of the website SupermarketGuru.com, told NPR. Isn’t it strange how that term just seems to keep popping up all over the place? One of the major issues that supermarkets on the east coast are currently facing is greatly increased shipping costs. Many Americans don’t realize this, but much of the fresh produce that we enjoy is actually grown in a handful of western states. In fact, “99 percent of walnuts, 97 percent of kiwis, 97 percent of plums, 95 percent of celery, 95 percent of garlic, 89 percent of cauliflower, 71 percent of spinach, and 69 percent of carrots” grown in the United States come from the state of California. To get all of that produce to stores in the east has always been a major production, but today it has also become exceedingly expensive… Growers of perishable produce across the West Coast are paying nearly triple pre-pandemic trucking rates to ship things like lettuce and berries before they spoil. Shay Myers, CEO of Owyhee Produce, which grows onions, watermelons and asparagus along the border of Idaho and Oregon, said he has been holding off shipping onions to retail distributors until freight costs go down. Myers said transportation disruptions in the last three weeks, caused by a lack of truck drivers and recent highway-blocking storms, have led to a doubling of freight costs for fruit and vegetable producers, on top of already-elevated pandemic prices. “We typically will ship, East Coast to West Coast – we used to do it for about $7,000,” he said. “Today it’s somewhere between $18,000 and $22,000.” Unfortunately, the issues that are plaguing the industry are not going to be cleared up any time soon. According to the CEO of Conagra Brands, supply chain issues will continue to be a huge headache for his company for at least the next month… Birds Eye frozen vegetables maker Conagra Brands’ CEO Sean Connolly told investors last week that supplies from its U.S. plants could be constrained for at least the next month due to Omicron-related absences. And the CEO of Albertson’s is anticipating continued supply chain woes “over the next four to six weeks”… Vivek Sankaran, CEO of the grocery store chain Albertson’s, said in an earnings call that the company had been hoping to recover from recent supply issues but omicron “put a dent in that.” “There are more supply challenges, and we would expect more supply challenges over the next four to six weeks,” Sankaran said on Tuesday. Of course these corporate leaders are anticipating that the Omicron wave will eventually fade and operations will start getting back to normal as warmer weather comes along. But in order to do that, they are going to have to find a lot more workers from somewhere. According to another industry expert, the consumer-packaged goods industry in the United States “is missing around 120,000 workers” right now… The situation is not expected to abate for at least a few more weeks, Katie Denis, vice president of communications and research at the Consumer Brands Association said, blaming the shortages on a scarcity of labor. The consumer-packaged goods industry is missing around 120,000 workers out of which only 1,500 jobs were added last month, she said, while the National Grocer’s Association said that many of its grocery store members were operating with less than 50% of their workforce capacity. So where are they going to find enough people to restore service to normal levels? They can’t exactly resurrect those that have died over the past year. Now that millions of workers have seemingly “disappeared” from the system, companies all over America are fiercely competing with one another for anyone that still has a pulse and is available. So if the food industry wants to hire thousands upon thousands of new workers, they are going to have to radically raise wages. And if they do that, we will be paying even more to fill up our carts at the grocery store. Today, a full shopping cart full of food can run more than 300 dollars in many areas. Will that figure soon reach 400 or 500 dollars? And what happens if our supply chain problems persist for many months to come like analysts at Deutsche Bank are now projecting… ‘For 2022, we expect supply pressures to likely linger for longer, perhaps until the second half of next year before gradually unwinding,’ Deutsche Bank analysts wrote in a note last Tuesday. But just like everyone else, the analysts at Deutsche Bank are also assuming that conditions will “return to normal” eventually. It would be really nice if that actually happened, but as Wolf Richter has pointed out, grocery stores have desperately been trying to “return to normal” for 20 months… Grocery stores have been trying to stock up for 20 months now, to fill the holes and catch up with this historic surge in demand, but every time they make a little headway, new constraints and problems emerge, and they still don’t have enough inventory on hand to get over the hump, and they temporarily and sporadically run out of some items. The elephant in the room that nobody really wants to talk about is the fact that our supply chains will never fully return to the way they were in 2019. Too much has changed. Yes, there will be a lot of ups and downs, but I actually believe that many of the problems that we are facing today will actually grow over time. It took decades of incredibly bad decisions to get us to this point, and the gross incompetence being displayed by our leaders in Washington does not give me confidence that things will turn around any time soon. The years ahead are not going to be pretty, and I would advise you to prepare accordingly. Nearing Midnight: Father of Liars – Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ Jesus foretold that one of the great signals of His Second Coming and of the end of the age would be deception and deceivers. Paul, in 2 Thessalonians 2 tells us there will be strong delusion in the last days. He prophesied also that there will be “evil men and seducers growing worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” God’s Word—Jesus Himself—declared that the evil at the core of all the deception is a being full of lies. He said in answer to the Jewish religious zealots who tried to entrap Him: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he spiked a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44) There is scriptural proof, therefore, that the charge is based on God’s truth when we say all the lies we see perpetrated in these closing days of this Age of Grace (Church Age) come from the chief minion of Ephesians 6:12. Indeed we have experienced an increase in lies coming at us from many directions. Remember the explosion of lies following the presidential election of 2016. The accusation of Trump’s campaign and election being in cahoots with the Russians—with Vladimir Putin himself—was in our faces for Trump’s full four years as president. The lies kept coming, and were front and center on every mainstream news outlet and left-wing social media every hour of every day for those years. Then it was proven that that the Russian collusion charge was all lies, based upon a phony, political dirty trick. The opposing presidential campaign paid operatives to concoct and distribute a false dossier involving charges accusing Mr. Trump of paying Russian prostitutes to do salacious things in order to spew vitriol against Barack and Michelle Obama, his predecessor and former first lady. The same political party concocted lies against a Trump administration Supreme Court candidate. We remember the weeks and weeks of that parade of prevarication. The president was subjected to a daily barrage for weeks and months in impeachment efforts—all based on lies. Mainstream newscasts, social media blogs, and other platforms made up lies about the Black Lives Matter and Antifa destruction of cities across America being peaceful protests rather than riots. The same news and entertainment media, while ignoring those destructive, anti-American insurrections, now accuse Trump supporters who protested—mostly peacefully—in Washington, DC, on January 6, 2021, as being insurrectionists. The vice president declared the protest and march to be the evil equivalent of December 7, 1941, and September 11, 2001. Lies of less magnitude, but progressing geometrically on an hour-by-hour basis in order to maintain the political power they achieved through one of the biggest lies—those involved in the stolen election of 2020—continue to do their destructive work against the republic. We have covered a number of times the fact that the globalist minions, both human and demonic, are working incessantly to set the stage for the coming Antichrist regime. I’ve pointed out that two prongs of this evil effort are primary in Satan’s blueprint. One is the climate-change mantra and the other is the COVID pandemic that, it is becoming obvious, isn’t likely to end anytime soon. Both are based largely on lies generated by the principalities and powers in high places. The initial effort was the lies of global warming. That morphed into climate change, when the ice cap at the North Pole didn’t melt and submerge New York City in the waters of the Atlantic after the first prediction of such catastrophe some thirty years ago. Reports have it that the University of Alabama at Huntsville data set presented from satellite reconnaissance has shown that there has been no global warming at all for the last seven years. Based on the HadCRUT4 data set, there has been no statistically significant global warming for more than nine years—August 2012 to October 2021. Before the findings, the United Nations-backed Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) confidently said in its First Assessment in 1990 that global warming is a great deal and a climate emergency. But given the succession of long periods without global warning as shown by HadCRUT4 data set, it is safe to say that the IPCC’s warning is way off the mark. One writer renders judgment on the climate-change hoax. Journalist and blogger Christopher Monckton noted that the West is self-destructing due to its belief in global warming, which has benefited China and Russia… Monckton noted that totalitarian administrations, such as that of the United Kingdom, is imagining climate emergency–giving as example the situation in rural Cornwall. He predicted that the first political party to find the courage “to oppose the global warming nonsense root and branch” will sweep the board at the next elections. “There is no more of a climate emergency today than there was in 2012, so the only reason for declaring one now is not that it is true (for it is not) but that it is politically expedient,” wrote Monckton. The political leadership in the West, said Monckton, is committing economic suicide as it allowed high-energy industries to be wasted because of the fear of imagined global warming. “Whole industries are have already been or are soon to be laid waste – coal extraction, distribution and generation (and, therefore, steel and aluminum); oil and gas exploration and combustion; internal-combustion vehicles; and a host of downstream industries which will create joblessness and hardship to income earners,” he wrote. (“Global warming statistically insignificant: Climate emergency is imaginary,” Matthew Davis, 1/6/22, Rapture Ready News) With regard to the pandemic that has the entire world in fear of facing death, the deception—the lies involved—are beyond our ability to comprehend at this point. I’m of the conviction that could be at the center of the prophesied lie that leads to enslavement of the populations of planet earth following the Rapture of the Church. Never has there been such a global effort among the leaders of the world’s nations in attempts to bring their peoples into subjection. Demanded compliance in the matter of vaccinations and mask-wearing constitutes a powerful mechanism that could soon force all into the one-world mold Antichrist will impose. The big lie—the great delusion of 2 Thessalonians 2—might spring from the present delusion being foisted—that the jab will bring freedom from pestilences and freedom to be an accepted citizen of the new order. What we are witnessing might be the catalyst for Antichrist’s underlings—his liars—to bring about control over humanity which the father of lies has desired for millennia. Before that can happen, the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life will step out of the heavenly throne room and call those who belong to the eternal family of God the Father to Himself. You don’t want to miss that magnificent reunion in the clouds of glory. Again, here’s how you can make sure you will go to Christ when He calls the saints. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10) Dramatic Demographic Shift No One Is Talking About - Islamic Europe – Giulio Meotti - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=5166 "If Europe does not regain control, Islamized mini-states could soon appear". The prediction comes from the Russian political scientist Sergei Markov. In an interview published by Lenta.ru, Markov notes that European institutions are adapting to the Islamic way of life, values and traditions (the recent campaigns of the Council of Europe in favor of the Muslim veil is an example), and adds: "Fully Islamized Islamic enclaves, mini-states and neighborhoods in large European cities will begin to appear. Yes, they will always be a minority. But they are more united and threaten violence. And the state will have to obey their instructions". Europe should pay attention to what Markov says. It is not even a warning. It is already here. In 2021, 35,000 migrants landed on the Italian island of Lampedusa -- five times the number of inhabitants on the island (6,500), according to InfoMigrants. Imagine if the same demographic process took place in a city -- and then more cities. The most complete picture of Europe's so-called "no-go zones" was created by the Migration Research Institute of Budapest, linked to the prestigious Mattias Corvinus College, which reported that in Europe there are more than 900 areas of this type. Many of the migrants already live on the generosity of European welfare, even as the police, social workers and ambulances do not enter these areas or must be protected when they do. Gangs and organized crime dominate the street, high birth rates guarantee demographic expansion and Islamic sharia law is de facto respected by the inhabitants; butchers are only halal, "mixed" hairdressers disappear, Islamic bookshops proliferate, Jews leave, churches are often converted to mosques and women are pressured to comply with sharia law. "We in the West are used to seeing women everywhere around us," Ayaan Hirsi Ali writes in her new book, Prey, before describing that in certain parts of Brussels, London, Paris and Stockholm, "you suddenly notice that only men are visible," as women "erase themselves" from public spaces. Forced marriages are booming. The Spanish newspaper El Mundo recently reported that forced marriages in Spain "have increased by 60 percent since 2015", the year of the arrival of a massive wave of migrants. 14% of these forced marriages take place with girls under the age of 15 and "only one in three has reached the age of 18". In Trappes, France, "there are hardly any mixed hairdressers left". A France 2 report denounced the disappearance of women from bars in Muslim-majority neighborhoods. In many municipalities, swimming pools set aside separate times for women and men. On the BFMTV channel, Fewzi Benhabib, residing in Saint-Denis since his arrival from Algeria 25 years ago, tells of toy stores where you can find "perfectly veiled dolls" and eyeless teddy bears. "In Islam, the [human] image is taboo," Benhabib explains. "Today," said the philosopher Alain Finkielkraut, "there are 145 mosques in Seine-Saint-Denis, to 117 churches..." In these lost areas, we are no longer in Europe. France's General Directorate for Internal Security has mapped 150 districts "in possession" of a group: neighborhoods and enclaves now in the hands of Islamic fundamentalists who shape them according to their ideology of submission. "More than 500 districts in France are declared 'sensitive'", historian Georges Bensoussan told Le Figaro. "To put it bluntly, we are talking about several million people who are subject to Islamist law". There are 150 such districts according to official estimates published by newspapers, but 500 are the areas considered districts at risk. There are 25 cities in France where the percentage of young non-Europeans is between 70% and 79%. In four cities of Seine-Saint-Denis, on the outskirts of Paris, it is more than 70%: La Courneuve (75% in 2017 versus 47% in 1990), Villetaneuse (73% versus 45%), Clichy-sous-Bois (72% versus 51%), Aubervilliers (70% against 39%). With numbers such as these, it is easy to have entire cities with a Muslim majority. Le Monde Diplomatique writes about Roubaix that there are 96,000 inhabitants who form a Muslim majority. Then Trappes: "32,000 inhabitants, of which 70 percent are Muslims...." and 40-50 different nationalities. On December 8, 2021, during the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, 30 of the Catholic faithful were attacked in the street and threatened with death. The attackers shouted, "kuffars" ("infidels") and "it is not your home", Le Figaro reported. "Wallah [I swear] on the Koran, we will cut your throat", attackers told the priest who opened the procession. This took place not in Pakistan, but in Nanterre, France. Jean-Marc Sertillange, deacon of the local parish, said: "The route of just one kilometer was authorized by the prefecture". "In Sweden there are 60 'risk areas'", the Swedish journalist Paulina Neuding wrote in The Spectator. As in Alby, a suburb of Stockholm known as "little Baghdad", only one in ten inhabitants is native Swedish. Neuding's findings were confirmed by the last list from the Swedish government. The result is what the German newspaper Bild called "the most dangerous country in Europe". "Sweden," The Economist noted, "has had the highest death rate from shootings in Europe in the last 15 years." Between 2012 and 2020, gunshot deaths tripled. Why should Sweden be of interest? Because it is the country that has gone further than any other in establishing multicultural politics. It has built a system designed to provide migrants and refugees with the same social welfare benefits that Swedes have given to themselves and has the highest percentage of people who have obtained asylum. In 2016 alone, Sweden welcomed 163,000 people, the equivalent of 1.6% of its total population. Combined with other years, it is a demographic tsunami: 28% of the population are foreign-born. In Sweden's Social Democratic newspaper Folkbladet, Kyösti Tarvainen, a professor at Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland, who studies demographic changes, stated that "with immigration unchanged, ethnic Swedes will be a minority by 2065". By 2100, there will be as many Muslims as there are ethnic Swedes. In 2019, Tarvainen revealed, 88% of immigrants residing in Sweden were of non-European origin and half were of the Muslim faith. Denmark announced that it will limit the number of "non-Western" residents to 30% in high-density neighborhoods, because too many non-Western foreigners in an area "increase the risk of parallel religious and cultural societies". According to a government list, there are at least 15 of these areas. In the UK -- where the esteemed Oxford demographer David Coleman predicted that in 50 years whites will be a minority -- immigration now represents 90% of the country's population growth. In many cities, Muslims make up a large proportion of the population: Hodge Hill in Birmingham (52.1%), Bradford West (51.3%), East Ham (37.4%), Blackburn (36.3%), Bethnal Green & Bow (35.4%), Leicester South (27.8%), Luton North (22.4%). By 2031, according to the census, "several areas of Bradford, Blackburn, Birmingham, Leicester, Slough, Luton and some boroughs of London will be predominantly Muslim," wrote former consultant to Prime Minister Tony Blair, Ed Husain, in his book Among the Mosques. "The Tower Hamlets district, which includes most of the in East London and Canary Wharf... has the highest percentage of Muslim residents in the UK, with 38 per cent". It is the "parallel society" denounced by the weekly The Economist and brought as a gift by multiculturalism, the grave of Western illusions. In Brussels, according to former Secretary of State Bianca Debaets, "there are too many areas where it is difficult for women and homosexuals to walk". Although women of foreign nationality are only one-sixth of all women of childbearing age in Belgium, half of all children in Belgium are now born to foreign women. This is the picture that recently emerged from the National Institute of Statistics. One-third of Belgium's population is of foreign origin and Belgians are already in the minority in Brussels. But as everyone knows, the "Great Replacement" is just a far-right fantasy.... The city of Antwerp, the second largest in Belgium, now has more immigrants than natives. As the MP Herman De Croo revealed, "78 per cent of Antwerp's children aged 1 to 6 are foreigners". The result? "Belgium will become Arab". This prediction does not come from a dangerous right-wing conspirator, but from a journalist, Fawzia Zouari, writing in the newspaper Jeune Afrique. "There are neighborhoods in Essen, Duisburg and Berlin," said Jens Spahn, the outgoing German health minister, "where one gets the impression that the state is no longer capable of enforcing the law." The German daily Bild identified 40 "problem areas" throughout Germany. It was Angela Merkel herself in 2015 who admitted that multiculturalism had led to the birth of "parallel societies". Why? "The importance of Islam in Germany will increase," stated the renowned sociologist Detlef Pollack, the country's foremost expert on religious trends, in Switzerland's Neue Zürcher Zeitung, "and that of Christianity will decrease...". In 2022, for the first time, fewer than half of the Germans will belong to one of the big churches. A University of Freiburg study predicts that half of all Christians in the country will disappear. Within thirty years, according to the Pew Forum, the Muslim faithful who settled in Germany will equal the total number of Catholics and Protestants, many of whom will be only nominally religious. "Muslims, the Winners of Demographic Change," headlined Germany's daily Die Welt. "US researchers predict that for the first time in history there will be more Muslims than Christians. Societies change. Even the German one". The list could go on and on. This multicultural volcano forecast by Sergei Markov -- or by former French president François Hollande if we distrust the Russians -- is not a threat only in the distant future of Europe; it is already in place. The big question is: why is it not stopped? This transformation is the single most important event in Europe. That anyone who reports about it is accused of "racism" and "Islamophobia" suggests that it is a secret too huge and important to be freely discussed. Daily Jot: Encourage, Equip, Evangelize–lessons of 20 Years - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Twenty years ago today, the Lord prompted me to begin writing The Daily Jot. At the time, I was not sure what form it would take or what even would be written. I knew, however, that I was to use my journalism experience to encourage and equip Christians to evangelize. The name of the Jot came from Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:18, “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” The Daily Jot was to be a small daily writing about something the Lord put on my heart that would help equip or encourage someone to evangelize in some way–whether it be through example, by using the Jot to strike up conversations, or by sharing it. I started sending it to my personal email list of 34 friends. I have learned a lot over the past two decades. Lesson 1: Never despise meager beginnings. I have learned that when you know the Lord asks you to do something, he will honor it–it will not return void–a man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men (Proverbs 18:16). I also have learned that there will be many trials testing your commitment, and many attacks from Christians and unbelievers alike. I have learned that through sickness and strife and adversity, the Lord’s word is truth–He will never leave you nor forsake you and to not fear what man can do to me (Hebrews 13:5,6). Through all of it, we learned the true meaning of Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Another lesson I have learned is that there are many deceivers in the world–many are in Christianity. Paul warned in Ephesians 4:14, “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.” When you actually study the word, you will find that many doctrines were developed out of context or from tradition. There are many things I once believed were true because they were taught to me as truth, but I now see they were in great error and cause deception. Don’t get angry when your concepts or traditions are challenged. Study the Bible in its full context and find out for yourself. There have been countless times over the past 20 years that the Lord has prompted me to write things that have, at first, upset people tremendously. To be honest, I knew they would, but I have to write what the Lord impresses upon me to write. Usually, the upsetting things become reality. As an award-winning investigative journalist, many times people would mock what I wrote, only to find that it turned out to be true. In Christianity, the arena is very unforgiving. Covering prophetic events is a full contact sport so to speak. To deal with the hostility, mocking, and pretention, the Lord gave me these verses in Ezekiel 3:17-21. Paraphrasing, the Lord says tell them what I tell you to tell them; if you do, their actions are on their hands; if you don’t, the blood is on your hands. And so it goes. In the times ahead, I suspect there will be many warnings, many doctrines that will be called into question, and many who will just want to lash out rather than check it out. Please understand that I love you; that I have no agenda apart from what I believe the Lord is putting on my heart; and that your prayers and support are cherished because I also have learned that the Lord chooses to work through his people, otherwise this ministry would not exist. I have learned that providing a meal for the hungry is better than just praying for them to be fed—showing faith by the work. Most of all, I have learned that the Lord gifts you with something special. Then He sees how you use it. Be encouraged. Be equipped. Take Action. Thank you for the past 20 years, and I look forward to what the Lord has in store for both of us in the next 20! Daily Devotion: Use It or Lose It - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love. —Jude 1:20–21 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/use-it-or-lose-it/ - Listen If I come home with three bags of groceries and happen to drop one of those bags, Murphy’s Law guarantees that I always will drop the one with the eggs in it. Some of us treat our faith like a fragile egg. But faith isn’t fragile. Faith is given to us to use, to stretch, to flex, and to develop. And the more we use our faith, the more faith we will have. On the other hand, if we neglect our faith, it will atrophy. In other words, use it or lose it. Faith is like a muscle. The more we use it, the stronger it becomes. The Bible says this about faith: “But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life” (Jude 1:20–21 NLT). Notice the emphasis is on faith doing things. Faith is praying, faith is staying, and faith is keeping. Faith is active. A big trend now is four-wheel-drive vehicles. In fact, I read recently that half of all vehicles sold have four-wheel-drive capacity. That’s nice if you live in Montana or Colorado. But a lot of people who own these vehicles don’t do any four-wheeling. Maybe you strike up a conversation with them at the gas station and say, “Wow, that’s an amazing vehicle! Do you do a lot of off-roading?” “Are you kidding?” they say. “Do you know much I spent on this thing?” The sad thing is they have a vehicle that’s designed with four-wheel-drive capacity, and they’re not using it. The same is true of us. God has given us this faith to use, but we don’t use it. Our faith is all show and no go. World changers have an active, not a passive, faith. America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious. To be fair, isn't it the case throughout history of famine and war on a global scale? Even the more developed countries ruled by monarchs had malnourished citizens. Look at how small and thin North Korean soldiers are compared to South Koreans. Then compare the South Korean soldiers to U.S. soldiers.
