For the past two decades, an increasing number of pundits, writers, and thinkers have begun seeing and then articulating on the increasing parallels between 21st century America and pre-World War II Europe. Even more disturbing than these troubling correlations, was the inevitability of it all. It seemed no matter what we did or how we voted, the world (and the US in particular) seemed to keep marching in one particular direction- totalitarianism. Are we doomed to repeat the same inevitable trajectory that plunged a desperate 1920s Germany into embracing one of the most horrific regimes to ever exist?  
 
Although nostalgic remembrances tend to gloss over the past with a brilliant hue, the red-flashing warning signs had been there for decades (i.e., creeping cultural Marxism, the corruption of capitalism, collapsing nuclear family, sinking morality, abortion on demand, etc.). It would seem that pre-9/11 America was as blissfully unaware of our sinking ship, as we were with a world in transition. No one in any position of authority that I can remember, aside from Ronald Reagan, ever publicly stated the USA might not always be that shining superpower on a hill. In fact, if you ever said that in a serious public forum, you were deemed a tin-foil hat conspiracy theorist and immediately dismissed out of hand as a lunatic. Nevertheless, 9/11 provided us with that unfortunate rude awakening that many had been ignoring for decades- the world did change and would never be the same again.
 
Detour
 
Having recently rewatched Schindler's List for the umpteenth time, there are a couple of points in the movie that has recently stood out to me in a new way. I suppose its meaning has gained this new, profound significance considering the $30T national debt threshold we are soon to cross over.
 
For those unfamiliar with the real-life story/movie of Schindler's List, Oskar Schindler was a German industrialist and Nazi party member who had moved from Germany to Krakow, Poland in the early days of the war to make his fortunes. Having previously struck out on a number of prior business ventures, his wife Emilie asked him why this time would be any different. Here is an excerpt from the movie.
 
Schindler:
Three hundred and fifty workers on the factory floor with one purpose … to make money – for me! … They won't soon forget the name Schindler, either. I can tell you that. Oskar Schindler, they'll say. Everybody remembers him. He did something extraordinary. He did something no one else did. He came here with nothing, a suitcase, and built a bankrupt company into a major manufactory. And left with a steamer trunk, two steamer trunks, full of money. All the riches of the world. … There's no way I could have known this before, but there was always something missing. In every business I tried, I can see now it wasn't me that had failed. Something was missing. Even if I'd known what it was, there's nothing I could have done about it, because you can't create this thing. And it makes all the difference in the world between success and failure.

Now, not to rehash the whole movie, but Oskar had set out to become filthy rich by exploiting this crisis called World War II. Fast forward to the end of the movie (around 1944) and he had achieved his goal of becoming filthy rich. Unbeknownst to himself or his wife, he had no idea the war and all of its atrocities would affect him the way that it did. He had no idea the Jews he had meant to profit off of, essentially slave labor, would become the very thing he ends up sacrificing his fortunes on.
 
The scene in the movie that stood out to me (around the 2:20 min mark) shows him standing over a bed, looking at suitcases full of German Reichmarks. All the money he had in these suitcases (around $1.3 million dollars by today's standard) represented his entire life's savings. He was now on the verge of using all of this money to pay off the local SS Commander Amon Göth in order to buy back his Jewish workers' lives.
 
Although the movie doesn't necessarily expand the dialogue on this amazing sacrifice, he must have realized three things. First, the war would not last forever. He mentions this fact earlier in the movie. Second, the horrors of the Third Reich would not go unpunished. He was becoming deeply disturbed by the atrocities he sees going on. Lastly, he must have realized that money would become just as worthless as all the other failed currencies from defeated empires in the end. I suppose part of his transition from profiteer to humanitarian was that he concluded that he use all that money to do the greatest good he could, while he could.
 
Assessment
 
You're probably wondering what Schindler's List has to do with the craziness we see in the world today. I'm here to tell you the world is being frog-marched into a new Fourth Reich, and that this new regime will make everything that has preceded it (including Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Kim, etc.) pale in comparison. Since the Nazi's concept of a "Third Reich, presupposes that there were a First and Second Reich, it behooves us to know what these were before moving forward.

Not to rehash a thousand plus years of European history (see image below for that), let's just say that Germany did in fact play a central role in the entirety of the Holy Roman Empire. It began when Pope Leo III crowned the Frankish king Charlemagne as the Holy Roman Emperor on December 25, 800AD. The Holy Roman Empire itself was the product of the imperial pairing by the Roman Catholic Church who was attempting to consolidate its control over the varying (and often warring) factions in central Europe, as well as revive the Western Roman Empire which had effectively ended around 476AD. Thus, the title claim (i.e., Third Reich) by Herr Hitler and company is at least historically accurate, if not tragically misguided.

We all know that money equals power, power equals influence, and influence (ideas and ideology) makes the world go round. To that end, the final "Reich" lasted 12 years from 1933-1945. The Third Reich's money, i.e., the Reichsmark, held its value for about 24 years (1924-1948), after which, it changed to the Deutchesmark. The Deutchesmark lasted from 1948 to 2002 when the Euro became the common currency in Germany and the rest of the European Union.
 
The Reichsmark fate was sealed due to the changing geopolitical realities on the ground. For reasons unknown (demonically driven paranoia perhaps), and despite all of his advisors advising against it, Hitler was driven to open up a second war front by invading the Soviet Union in Operation Barbarossa. In so doing, he doomed not just his nation, but the national currency as well. The Reichsmark collapse also triggered other financial collapses across Europe for those who had either been accosted by the Reichsmark or were dependent upon it for their own stability even before the war ended. By 1944, the Third Reich was in a death spiral, and Nazi officials everywhere were getting nervous and looking for highly mobile valuables (gold, diamonds, etc.) to be able to use after Germany's inevitable demise.
 
Although we have the luxury of historical hindsight, even a casual observer back then could see that Hitler's policies were both unconscionable (i.e., the Final Solution) as well as unsustainable (Four Year Plan). But if making the comparisons to the US today, what does that say for us? We know our policies are both unconscionable (ex. abortion holocaust, endless wars, etc.) as well as unsustainable (e.g., $30T national debt). Can our leaders not see the writing on the wall as evidence of our imminent financial collapse?
 
Not to compare modern investors with Nazi officials, but both were/are frantically looking to diversify their currency holdings into things like land, precious metals, and minerals, and crypto before the SS Dollar hits the inevitable iceberg. But investors are not the only indicators of our own collapse. Simply look at the globalists who, once only operated in the shadows, are now working with boldness in their efforts to dismantle our once-great nation. Think about it this way, they would have never done the things they are now doing, at the height of our power. But now, they are no longer hiding their intentions.
 
Since the 1940's Bretton-Woods Agreement, the world's economy has largely been led by the US Economy and US Dollar. The way it was set up, it was in the world's best interest to keep the US dollar strong, which would, in turn, help keep every other currency stable. However, given the increasingly advanced technological developments we are seeing each passing day, the US Dollar's global hegemony is increasingly becoming a 20th-century holdover that is well past its expiration date...and the globalist knows it. They are in the process of bankrupting us just as we did the Soviet Union in the 1980s, through strategically imbalanced climate and economic policies, weaponized illegal immigration, the expansion of the welfare state, and endless war footing.
 
Perhaps this is why our government over the past several congresses and administrations don't seem to care about writing multi-trillion-dollar legislative bills, or controlling our borders, or instituting universal basic income and healthcare, or providing $450,000 reparations to illegal aliens. They don't care about the national debt, because they know this whole system is collapsing anyway. From their perspective, we are already too far gone, so they might as well jockey for their new positions in the new world order by expediting its arrival. After all, if globalist-minded politicians and corporate oligarchs' primary goals are to stay in power, they will do whatever is in their best interests to ensure this happens regardless of what it does to the rest of us. Hence, the Great Reset.
 
Over the past twenty-one months, the response to the covid-19 scourge has consolidated the monopolistic corporations’ grip on the economy on top, while advancing “actually-existing socialism” below. In partnership with Big Tech, Big Pharma, the legacy media, national and international health agencies, and compliant populations, hitherto “democratic” Western states are increasingly being transformed into totalitarian regimes modeled after China, seemingly overnight. The Great Reset, then, is not merely a conspiracy theory; it is an open, avowed, and planned project, and it is well underway. But because capitalism with Chinese characteristics, or corporate-socialist statism, lacks free markets and depends on the absence of free will and individual liberty, it is, ironically, “unsustainable,” and doomed to fail. Globalists such as Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, George Soros, British royalty, the United Nations (and its various appendages), Blackrock, State Street, Vanguard, Berkshire Hathaway, etc., are of one mind regarding this coming global change. They truly believe that the only way to save the planet is to be the ones controlling it. They are feverishly planning this regime change under a number of different auspices, namely through the legislative initiatives set forth by the United Nation's Agenda 21/ Agenda 2030 programs. These initiatives are then repackaged by other globalist groups such as the Web Economic Forum, Bilderberg Group, Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Rockefeller Foundation, etc., into more palatable and benign terms such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Building Back Better, and the Great Reset and propagandized by the fifth column mainstream media.

The year 2022 is set to be the year that the Israeli Air Forces places its long-range strike capabilities against Iran's nuclear program sites at the top of its priority list.
 
Recent years have seen the IAF focus on its ability to strike regional Iranian entrenchment activities, particularly in Syria, as well as prepare attack plans against Hezbollah in Lebanon based on the concept of unleashing of thousands of guided munitions per day, while also engaging in frequent Gaza escalations. Now, however, the IAF's planners have set their sights on targets Iranian soil.
 
Iran's nuclear sites--the most famous of which are the Natanz and Fordow uranium enrichment sites--are not only far away but also heavily fortified by advanced air-defense systems. In Fordow's case, the facility is built deep inside a mountain.
 
Assessing the progress being made by Iran's nuclear program is complex. On the one hand, the threshold for triggering an attack has obviously not been triggered, and for its part, Iran has announced a return to nuclear talks in Vienna with the United States and world powers.
 
But it's not yet clear whether those talks will lead to an actual agreement. Even if they do, a return to the 2015 nuclear deal--the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)--would represent a very poor development for the region due to its short-term sunset clauses built into the arrangement, which would soon expire and pave the path for Iran to become a nuclear threshold state with full international legitimacy.
 
A better, longer deal does not seem to be on the table at this stage.
 
While Iran appears to have frozen parts of its nuclear infrastructure that it would need to break through to the nuclear weapon--developing an explosive mechanism and working to place that mechanism on a missile warhead--it has made alarming progress on the most challenging aspect of building a nuclear weapon: amassing sufficient fissile material.
 
Israel's sped-up military preparations are therefore a direct reflection of Iran's own speeding up of its nuclear program. Iran enriched more than 120 kilograms of uranium to the 20 percent level in October, according to the IAEA--a major jump from the 84 kilograms that Iran had previously enriched a month earlier. Iran is also openly enriching other, albeit smaller quantities of uranium to the 60 percent level, something no non-nuclear state would do.
 
Assessments of how long Iran would need to break through to an actual weapon range from between 18 months to two years. That's not a long time in strategic terms.
 
'We are working on these things'
 
The original 2015 nuclear deal, despite its many holes, did temporarily delay Iran's nuclear progress, allowing the IAF to invest its resources in other missions and plans.
 
In 2018, after the Trump administration withdrew from the nuclear deal and placed crippling sanctions on Iran, Tehran faced severe economic crises. Nevertheless, the regime began speeding up its uranium-enrichment activities in order to, as former Israeli National Security Adviser Maj. Gen. (res.) Yaakov Amidror put it, "make clear to the world what the cost of the U.S.'s exit from the agreement will be."
 
Now, as the Biden administration seeks to draw Iran back to that very same deal, any delay that the JCPOA would cause Iran's nuclear program would be very short-lived. Alternatively, Iran, which has found new ways to export its oil around the world and ways to survive sanctions, could be tempted to do away with any return to an agreement and secure its status as a breakout state instead.
 
One must hope, therefore, that the United States and Israel are quietly hammering out a side deal between them that would stipulate what actions would be taken if Iran approaches the breakout zone, in addition to ensuring that no one gets in Israel's way should the hour arise for confrontation.
 
When IAF planners look at the challenge of reaching Iran, they must consider an enormous undertaking, requiring the most detailed planning, intelligence, ammunition selections, aerial platforms and refueling capabilities. There is no resemblance between such an operation and a short-range operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
 
Such preparations take considerable time.
 
Israel's defense establishment is increasingly vocal about those preparations. In September, Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, told Walla: "We have greatly sped up our preparations for activities in Iran."
 
He added that a "substantial part of the enlarged defense budget, as just recently summarized, is earmarked for this. This is highly complex work, requiring a great deal of intelligence and many operational capabilities. It requires many more ammunitions. We are working on these things."
 
These comments reflect the true scope of the force build-up program needed specifically for a strike mission on Iran's nuclear program. They also suggest that whatever plans the IAF had in place for such a mission in 2021 will be different from the plans that will be put in place in 2022.
 
Such strategizing, in and of itself, isn't new. Israel first began developing its military capabilities for stopping Iran's nuclear program in 2004--hasn't stopped. As time goes by, the chances of Israel needing to deploy these capabilities appear to have risen, even if there is no immediate trigger for such action tomorrow.
 
The year 2022, with Iran's progress, and pending decision on whether or not to engage in diplomacy, could prove to be a critical junction.
 
'A military option is on the table'
 
To be sure, a strike would represent the very last resort from Israel's perspective. Not least of which, this is due to the fact that a strike could see Iran quickly activate Hezbollah--its heavily armed proxy in Lebanon that is 20 times more powerful today than it was on the eve of the 2006 Second Lebanon War. Hezbollah's arsenal of more than 150,000 surface-to-surface projectiles is designed to deter Israel from launching the very strike for which the IAF is currently preparing contingencies.
 
Iran's Shi'ite proxies in Syria and Iraq could also join the fray after an attack, setting the scene for a major Mideast war. Such a scenario is not inevitable and the nature of warfare is unpredictable, but it must be factored into any strike contingency.
 
The enlarged Israeli defense budget for the year 2021--some 62.3 billion shekels (and 60 billion shekels for 2022)--represents a sizable increase from 2020's 57.5 billion shekels expenditure on defense.
 
Ultimately, it is vital that Iran understands that a military option is on the table, and since the American strategic focus has clearly shifted to the Far East, it falls to Israel to carry out this function.
 
In the past, Iran has taken military threats to its nuclear sites seriously, as is visible in the length that the Islamic Republic has gone to in protecting its nuclear infrastructure with air-defense systems and installing parts of it underground.
 
In 2003, when Iran saw American forces on its borders in Afghanistan and Iraq, it froze its nuclear program to avoid military action. Today, however, Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, does not appear to be taking military threats from anyone very seriously.
 
The placing of a credible and imminent military threat is therefore critical at this junction.
 
For Israel, this means also having to be ready for the full-scale conflict that could follow with Iran's proxies such a strike.
 
Plans by Israel to unleash devastating firepower on Hezbollah--combined with a rapid ground offensive--would mean that it would take Lebanon years to recover from such a war.
 
The timing of these potential scenarios is not around the corner, but their relevancy is growing with time.
 
At the tactical level, it appears as if Israel's growing fleet of F-35 fighter jets will have leading roles in such scenarios with their stealth capabilities, and ability to infiltrate deep into enemy air space and gather enormous amounts of intelligence, which can be sent back to fourth-generation F-15 and F-16 fighter jets to attack.
 
In some ways, the IAF is still coming to terms with the full range of capabilities possessed by the F-35 and how these can be combined with roles for F-16 and F-15 jets, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
 
'Their dream of regional hegemony and beyond'
 
There are some who question whether it is even possible to really stop Iran on its patient, calculated nuclear march. Some argue that even if Iran becomes armed with nuclear weapons, it would not use them against Israel, and that the threat of retaliation and global reaction would kick in.
 
Such arguments are effectively dealt with by an examination of Iran's likely strategy once it becomes nuclear; this would probably center on providing a nuclear umbrella for its ever-more confident proxies in the Middle East.
 
As Amidror, the former national security adviser, recently stated in a paper for the IDF's Dado think tank, "even if the Iranians do not use nuclear weapons to destroy Israel," the nuclear umbrella in their possession "would make it easier for them to realize their dream of regional hegemony and beyond. With nuclear weapons in their hands, they could act against regional states, foremost among them, Israel, with far less concern regarding possible responses.
 
It is fair to assume that they believe that when they possess nuclear weapons, Israel, too, will be deterred from acting against Iranian interests, even if Iran's efforts will go towards nourishing their stranglehold mechanism that they wish to place around the Jewish state in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq."
 
Amidror warned that nuclear weapons would make Iran feel immune enough to destabilize the Middle East with much greater intensity than it does today, without having to worry about American retaliation or the threat of a Libya-style war for regime change.

Well, it looks like those dirty, rotten, soulless climate deniers are at it again, leading the parade against Lord Soros! The BBC reports:
 
"Climate change denial is spreading unchecked on Facebook, two studies by disinformation researchers have found. The Center for Countering Digital Hate and the Institute for Strategic Dialogue said less then 10% of misleading posts were marked as misinformation."
 
And of course, it's even worse than it seems (everything big media touches gets that way)! Out of over 7,000 posts "describing climate change as hysteria, alarmism, and a scam," only 8% were marked as misinformation!
 
Well, that right there does explain what's wrong with the world, doesn't it? Perhaps the climate slavery hucksters could come up with some approved boilerplate that FB and other big tech exploitation platforms would buy from them. That way big tech can simply insert the climate hucksters' posts into the tech users' posts automatically.
 
Of course, if this happened, the "climate-denier" deniers would be out of a job, wouldn't they? Another career field falls to automation. That's what happens when you slaughter the goose that lays the golden eggs.
 
"Climate change" has had zero credibility since East Anglia's software faking algorithm was exposed by a contract programmer who released the source code. This poor guy was hired to make some simple calculation modifications, but couldn't get the results to work out correctly. The "problem" was solved when the "scientists" who had hired him gave him the constants that had to be encoded into the computer code calculation to make the result match their mystical graphs.
 
'De' Nile is not only a river somewhere else, folks. Denial is a way of life for the left, which has to add all sorts of unlikely constants into their pet projects to make them work out financially. The biggest constant they have to add is your life blood, sweat and tears. But I guess once the left learned to deny the existence of truth, well … anything and everything goes. Where it goes is along the lines of "to hell in a hand-basket."
 
Global warming, then global cooling and now simply climate hucksters have no one other than themselves to blame for so much misinformation out there, in the internet wild. When the earth was warming, the huck was global warming. When the earth began to cool, the huck was changed to global cooling. Now it's simply climate change. Yes, the climate does change. It changes all the time. What are you going to do, stabilize it? Freeze the earth in its rotational pattern, where the sun shines … and then doesn't shine?
 
This kind of nonsense could only have gained a foothold in a nation with a crippled and now completely defunct education system. The leftist teachers unions didn't just reeducate children in the way that the leftists thought they should go. To achieve certifiably stupid they had to remove from the curriculum even rudimentary research and thinking skills, such as sourcing, study credibility and author integrity. When those are gone, research and even science are pointless. My lie is as good as your lie. And of course the government's lie is always the best!
 
A predetermined outcome only leads you to the edge of the flat earth, where if you take one more step you will fall off. Is it looking dark out there, folks? Be careful. We're at the edge. If any of us takes one more step down this path our entire nation falls off the edge, and we will be banished to outer darkness, with Satan's pitchfork forever stuck up our collective you-know-whats.
 
If teachers hadn't perverted their duty to educate children in thinking, we would not be at this point. But the teacher’s unions chose indoctrination over education. Perhaps it was so much easier. The left has always believed that truth is whatever they say it is. They honestly believe that humanity is infinitely malleable; skulls full of mush to be molded and shaped by enlightened leftists, the science and the facts be damned. Authoritarianism is their last gasp before mass graves at the side of the road. Ask a Jew who survived the concentration camps. Maybe she sees some similarities between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated rhetoric in the world today. It's the same playbook, folks.
 
The left has three problems in its latest attempt at world domination. Marx is still their prophet, the Communist Manifesto their bible. Their foundation has been prepared on the death camp wreckage of humanity that has gone before us.
 
The left's problems, in increasing size, are Israel, America and God.
 
Israel had to reemerge during the modern era, because it is a key participant in the end of the church age.
 
America's form of government had never existed in the world. It was a union of strong, independent states that came together to delegate certain powers only to a federal government, for the purposes of defending against invasion, settling disputes between the states, and conducting diplomacy with other nations in the world. Limited government is forever an anathema to the left and their lust for power over other people. Dictators and monarchs loathe it, because it forces them to serve the people, not the reverse.
 
The left's biggest problem, however, is God. He loathes all imitators (just ask Satan). In the midst of ritual and habit, the Christian Church has grown weak and powerless, and been reduced to fighting its battles with mankind.
 
The order of Heaven is Authority, with God at the top. When God tell us "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:11 NIV)," it means that all the resources of Heaven hear His words and direct their efforts to accomplish the end He has spoken.
 
So it is with the Children of His Royal Household. As the Church unshackles itself from the world system, the resources of heaven listen and begin to deploy themselves to accomplish the words of the Father's Children.
 
Speak to your Father about what has happened. Silence is consent.

Since the inception of Christ’s Church, Christians have suffered for the sake of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
 
Satan has always hated the message that God, in Jesus, came down to man and died, was buried and rose again that all who would come to Jesus in true repentance and belief would be saved from Satan’s clutches and be rewarded with a home in Heaven.
 
Any who have ever read Foxe’s Book of Martyrs by John Foxe can attest to the persecution that was foisted upon the Church in the early days. It is unbelievable what diabolical torture man can impose upon other men simply because they don’t like what they believe. We can also travel through the pages of the Old Testament, reaching all the way back to Cain and Abel, and see the hate one man can have toward another, simply because of their obedience to Almighty God.
 
Reaching forward through the pages of time to our day, nothing has changed. Those who love Jesus are hated by Satan, and misery of every form is being dealt out as punishment. Those of us who live in the United States of America have been very fortunate to be able to worship our Lord in peace without worry of retribution, but we are quickly losing that luxury.
 
Jesus’ soon return is advancing closer and closer, and Satan is boiling mad. Why is this so? It is so because he knows his time is quickly running out, and hell is his destination and will be his place of residence throughout eternity. He lost the battle with God before it even started, and his eyes were opened to that reality at the cross and the empty tomb. He thought he had won when the Son of God hung upon that tree, but he was soon shown there is no power like the power of Almighty God. So, he continues today in attempting to cause as much misery and havoc upon those who claim the name of Jesus Christ … Christians, the bride of Christ.
 
In this country, which was founded upon the holy Word of God, we Christians are starting to get a taste of Satan’s relentless evil, and it is worsening by the day. More and more, the rats are climbing out of the sewers and invading the land that God initiated to be a light to the world and a defender of the apple of His eye … Israel.
 
Who would have believed that, just in my lifetime, we would see such evil in this once great country?
 
IN MY LIFETIME
 
Bible
 
The Bible was once respected as the Word of God and shown due respect even by non-believers. Today it is mocked and hated. The ACLU and other entities have worked zealously in having it and its message removed from every corner of life.
 
Jesus
 
Jesus, the author and person of God’s holy Word, was once at least respected, again, even by non-believers, but today His precious name is used daily as a curse word. Think about it; no other person’s name has ever been used as a curse word, except the name of Jesus. He provides the one and only lifeline to God and eternal life, and it is cursed and ridiculed.
 
Abortion
 
The murder of babies was once illegal in this country, but today is afforded respectability by calling it pro-choice, a woman’s right. Israel and Judah were judged very harshly by God for offering their babies as a sacrifice to false gods. They murdered thousands. We have murdered millions. Do we really think God is just going to look the other way?
 
Sexual Perversion
 
Homosexuality, previously a “closet” sin, was once illegal and frowned upon by most everyone, even non-believers. Today, homosexuality has been elevated to normalcy by our Supreme Court and accepted as so by society in general. Even some churches ordain homosexuals and call them pastors.
 
Transgenderism is another affront to our Creator God who made mankind male and female. I have stated in a previous article, “The Bible makes it clear that we are born male or female. We are either one or the other. Science agrees. Males are born with one Y chromosome and one X chromosome. Females are born with two X chromosomes. If you have one Y chromosome and one X chromosome, you are a male. If you have two X chromosomes, you are a female. We are either male or female when we are born. That cannot be debated.”
 
Sexual promiscuity is running rampant in our society. I can remember a time when it was a disgrace to have sex outside of marriage.
 
Entertainment
 
Satan’s influence has so affected the entertainment fields (Hollywood, music, sports, etc.), respectability has plunged to the depths of the open sewers of men’s minds.
 
Churches
 
The Word of God was once preached from most pulpits in America, but now there is mostly just liberal false gospel, opinions of mindless minions of Satan.
 
Political
 
Our political field has grown so corrupt they would be most comfortable in the decadent era of Rome.
 
SO, WHERE AM I GOING WITH THIS?
 
First of all, for true believers, it is disheartening when we behold the evil all around us, especially for those of us who are old enough to know that it hasn’t always been like this. There was a time, even though sin was evident, Jesus, His message, and His people were respected. Yes, today that is gone, but listen to what Jesus says in the following two Scripture passages.
 
“If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. “If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you” (John 15:18-19).
 
“Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you” (Matthew 5:11-12).
 
In the days we are living, the insane are running the asylum, but don’t be discouraged; this earthly life is but a fleeting second. Our eternal home is with Jesus, and nothing impure will ever be in our presence again.
 
“and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life” (Revelation 21:27).
 
Yes, we are aliens in a strange land, but the journey is short. In the meantime, even though we are hated as Christians because we love God and His Word, let us not faint.
 
“For here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the city which is to come” (Hebrews 13:14).
 
“Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul. Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation” (1 Peter 2:11-12).
 
This country and the world will soon be judged by Jesus personally. Currently, the Devil’s crowd is having a rip-roaring celebration since they seemingly have thrown off the yoke of God’s Word, but soon those who love Jesus will be ecstatic with joy … and not just for a few short years, but for eternity. Those who are celebrating now will face His wrath. They need our prayers and our witness to them.
 
The final Scripture I would like to share should also give us much joy. It really doesn’t matter what is going on around us if Jesus is the Savior of our soul and the Lord of our life. In Him we have everything and more.
 
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us” (Romans 8:18).

Daily Jot: The Farm Chronicles: Common Men Uncommon Valor – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com
 
Growing up on the farm in Northeastern Ohio, there wasn’t a lot of exposure to world events. It wasn’t like it is today with 24-hour news cycles and constant bombardment of news and information. We had three channels on the TV, maybe a couple more if you could use the electric antenna rotor to get some UHF channels with snow. We had the local radio stations and the Record Courier newspaper. What I learned about World War II was mostly from two sources: the history teachers in school and the men in my life who were boy-warriors in far-away places and who rarely would discuss anything about their exploits. It was too horrible to talk about. One thing I learned from them: Freedom was expensive.
 
There was Lloyd Pardee. He lived nearby in Wayland. One of my Dad’s close friends. A gentle man with an easy smile and a dry wit. Sometimes he seemed distant. Dad would explain to me that at barely 18 he went into the Air Force and became a tail gunner on a plane. Lloyd had confided in Dad the very horrors of that job, which usually had a life expectancy of four flights, or about two weeks. Lloyd sometimes took the place of fellow airmen who had been killed in action, having to move their remains out of the way and sit in their blood to defend the aircraft from attackers. When you looked at Lloyd, his humility veiled a bold and courageous man. He raised a wonderful and patriotic family. The hand of God upon him.
 
My uncle Bob Harris served in the Philippines. There were times when he had flashbacks. My dad would get a call from my aunt and he would find Uncle Bob, talk him down and hold him until the terror passed. Uncle Bob was decorated for his service. Warren McCarthy and Gene Flynn served on D-Day. They survived it. And they, too, were decorated war heroes. Not much of what they did was ever discussed. But you somehow knew that they were special. My dad, who was a farmer during the war, was best friends with these men. They all endured so much. They were among the finest men I knew growing up. All these men knew the price of freedom and they understood their civic duty to their families, their God and their country. These men grew up on farms or in rural areas, the values of God, family, country sown into their being.
 
As adults, Lloyd and Uncle Bob worked in factories; Uncle Bob also farmed; Gene was a postal worker; Warren was a skilled carpenter and farmer. They all returned from the war and made their homes in the same area they grew up. Common men with uncommon valor. When my friend Sonny and I roamed our backwoods emulating the rugged Sergeant Chip Saunders played by Vic Morrow in the series “Combat,” our love of country and sense of responsibility was shaped by men like Lloyd, Bob, Gene and Warren. They and others like them, farm boys as kids, heroes as men, inspired and modeled courage for us. As the Lord told Joshua “Be strong and of good courage: be not afraid, neither be dismayed; For the Lord thy God is with you wherever you go.” They have all passed on to the Lord, but their legacy lives in my heart.

Let’s imagine for a moment that you’re very hungry, so you go into a restaurant and ask for a menu. You look it over and carefully read the descriptions of the various things they’re serving. But is that going to satisfy your hunger? Will you be able to put the menu down and say, “Thank you. I feel much better now”?
 
Or what if you memorized the contents of every single item on the menu? You know it so well that you could stand in front of the restaurant and say, “Ask me whatever you want. I’ve memorized the menu.” That’s fine, but it won’t fill your stomach. You need to order the food and then eat it.
 
It’s the same thing when it comes to the Word of God. We not only need to hear it, but we also need to do it. We need to apply what we’ve heard.
 
James wrote, “But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like” (James 1:22–24 NLT).
 
In the original language, the act of looking in a mirror speaks of an attentive scrutiny. This is a picture of someone who sees their reflection in a mirror, realizes that something needs to be done, but doesn’t act on it.
 
When we hear the Word of God, we should allow God’s Holy Spirit to take that truth and bring it home to our hearts. Truth acted on brings more truth. But failure to respond to the truth ultimately will result in the loss of truth. God’s Word becomes a millstone if we don’t make it a milestone.
