And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. There has been much discussion as of late regarding the Christian's role with respect to the ungodly tyranny we see rising up in our land. The question is do we obey God, or government when the latter seems to be increasingly hostile to the former. Corresponding to this issue is the state of the pulpit in these last days. The question many are asking is, what if I attend a church that has sound teaching in all things, except Bible Prophecy?
 
A growing number of churches and denominations either don’t touch the subject with a ten-foot pole or they teach a corrupted version of it. This is a tragedy given how interconnected Bible prophecy is with not only every book in the Bible but also every major biblical doctrine. When you disconnect eschatology (the study of last things) from the other theological doctrines, you effectively neuter (to a large degree) the power of the Gospel as a whole. However, the more I thought on this issue, an important question came to mind-
 
If God truly loved us as much as He says He does, then wouldn’t He use whatever tools He had at His disposal to bring the lost to salvation?
 
If the answer is yes (it is), then what are the tools at God’s disposal?
 
First, would be God the Holy Spirit (HS) ministry, who has, since Acts 2, been restraining evil and drawing all men unto Christ. After one comes to a saving knowledge of faith, the HS then seals the believer guaranteeing them eternal life (Eph. 1:13-14, 4:30). Lastly, part of that restraining ministry of the HS is by convicting the world in truth until the Rapture of the Church (John 16:5-15, 2 Thess. 2:7).
 
The second tool would be God’s holy word, the Bible, which is nearly 30% prophetic in nature. What is of more importance than the number of prophetic passages, is how God disperses this through nearly every book of the Bible (2 Tim. 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12-13). Clearly, God intended prophecy to become the supernatural icing on every theological cake so to speak.
 
Lastly, God uses the Church, (ekklesia- Greek) as His witnesses and ambassadors to a fallen world. The Church is not a denomination, but rather, is the corporately single, universal body of believers whom Christ Himself is building (Matt. 16:18, Colossians 1:17-18). We are made up of both Jew and Gentile, and through Christ, are made into a new creation.
 
God the Holy Spirit is in perfect harmony with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit testifies to all men not only the timeless attributes of God’s holy nature but also to the issues pertinent to the day in which men live. For instance, in Noah’s day, the pressing issue was the coming judgment of the flood. In Moses' day, it was deliverance from Egyptian bondage and the 40-year transition into the Promise Land. In John the Baptist's day, the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand. As historically and biblically important as all these issues were in their day, the pressing issue of our day is the impending seven-year Tribulation (i.e. the 70th Week of Daniel) and all the events that either precede it (the Rapture) or sum up its conclusion (the Second Coming). 
 
Knowing that God truly loves us and wants all men to be saved, what is the ultimate purpose of the Bible?
 
The Bible is God’s way of communicating to us His sincere desire to restore the relationship lost that was severed by the fall (Gen. 3). In order to do that though, there has to be redemption. In order for that redemption to take place, God had to become a man and fulfill His own perfect law to do something we never could, conquer death and hell. In order to do this, one would have to live a sinless life (in which the wages of sin are death) and then die as a perfect and willing sacrifice in order to provide a way through the consequences of sin. Jesus Christ is "the way" through the impenetrable and perfect law of God. Since we humans, by our own default fallen natures, cannot, not sin, thus we were without hope…until Jesus.
 
This is where the prophetic nature of the Bible kicks in.
 
At the fullness of time, God the Son stepped out of heaven, took on the flesh of a man, lived a sinless life, and then died as the perfect sacrifice on the cross. All of this had long been prophesied about (Gen. 3:15, Psalm 22, Isaiah 53, Gal. 4:4-6). Had the Jews believed and trusted the Old Testament Prophets, they would have known when the Messiah would come and not crucified Him, thus allowing the Kingdom of God to come earth through the nation of Israel.
 
However, we know that is not how it played out.
 
The only people who knew and anticipated the Messiah's coming were the Gentile Wise Men, and a handful of faithful watchers. Ultimately, Jesus was rejected by His people and that generation. But through that rejection, God opened up salvation to all mankind. Jesus loved us so much that He willingly subjected Himself to beatings, torture, and humiliating death on a wooden cross all to provide a path to salvation and redemption. That is love at a level we can’t even really fathom. The closest we see of this in Scripture (aside from Christ), is through Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his only begotten son Isaac in the earnest belief that God would also raise him from the dead (Genesis 22:1-19). Even that was only ever meant to foreshadow what God the Father would later do with the Son.
 
Nevertheless, everything in the Bible is there to either directly enforce the reality of this great love, or indirectly reinforce this truth. As Jesus told this parable of the Lost Sheep to the crowd around Him, He emphasizes the reality that the Good Shepherd would leave the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep and that all of heaven rejoices over the one sinner who repents.
 
Aside from love, the prophetic word is one of the most powerful tools God has at His disposal. God the Holy Spirit uses both the Bible and the Church to illuminate truth to a lost and dying world. God also designed the Bible to do what no other book in all of the world can do, which is, to tell us what will come to pass before it does. This is not to tickle our ears or satiate our curiosity; this is to demonstrate God’s omnipotent power over time and space. God tells us things ahead of time to demonstrate that He has absolute control over the past, present, and future. In fact, Bible prophecy is designed to be every bit as evangelistic as any other theological doctrine. It even has the distinct advantage of being unmistakably verifiable. We can look at fulfilled prophecy and KNOW the Bible is true.

Now, when churches refuse to teach prophetic scripture as they were intended to do, they are guilty of either willfully holding back God’s demonstrated love for us, or perverting it. If the Bible’s ultimate purpose is to communicate God’s great love for us and restore us back to Himself, in whom this perfect love is embodied in the person of Jesus Christ, and the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, shouldn’t prophecy be preached in every pulpit in America?
 
Yes.
 
Will God hold those ministers, ministries, and denominations who mock, diminish, and pervert God’s prophetic word accountable?
 
Absolutely.
 
And that should be a terrifying thought for those who are shrinking back and not doing what God called them to do. We are called to be salt and light in the day and age in which we live (Matt. 5:13-14). To not be the salt (preservative) and/or light (illuminating the darkness) in an age of such supernatural convergence is to risk having the blood of the people on our hands by not watching or warning (Ezekiel 33:1-6). It is like living near the coast, and knowing a terrible tsunami is headed your way, but you don't want to bother to warn any of your neighbors about it for fear of ridicule or embarrassment. To quote Dietrich Bonhoeffer,
 
Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless.
Not to speak is to speak.
Not to act is to act.
 
Conclusion
 
The Bible very clearly warns us we are in the last days (Heb. 1:1-2). The Bible very clearly warns us that in these last days, perilous times will come (2 Tim 3). The Bible very clearly tells us that many of "the faith" will become scoffers and skeptics (2 Peter 3). However, because a growing number of churches refuse to hold the moral high ground, and warn their congregations, their communities, and the society at large of the coming judgment, they have proudly resigned themselves to gather the gleanings, rather than the fields ripe with harvest.
 
We know that the last days are going to come whether we like it or not. Christendom cannot bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth any more than we can end human suffering and poverty. However, Jesus has instructed us in the Parable of the Minas, to occupy until He returns. In so doing, we become the salt and light in our communities and slow the corrupting effects of this mystery of lawlessness. But because churches are growing silent and refusing to take a stand, we are seeing wickedness rise, and with it, its atrophying effects across our society as a whole.
 
The reason there has been much discussion regarding the Christian's role with respect to both the rising tyranny and a nation in decline is that a growing number of churches refuse to proclaim God's prophetic word. Many denominations have traded the power of one of God's greatest evangelical tools, Bible Prophecy, for soft-serve, non-offending sermonettes on how to live our best life now.
 
Even more, denominations are trading in the Gospel which saves, for the government-sanctioned woke Social Justice Gospel. This political correctness might momentarily save you from political and media fallout over holding to absolute truths, but it will not save you from the eternal hellfire. When the pulpits boldly proclaim biblical, prophetic, truth...nations rise. When pulpits allow themselves to remain silent, neutered, and muzzled...nations sink into chaos, despair, and tyranny. Therefore, let us take heed unto Jesus' final words to the last church of the last days.
 
And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,
 
‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eyesalve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

In the past few years there has been a growing danger that China will use force to capture Taiwan. Beijing has taken a series of step that makes military action all the more likely at some point.
 
In 1949, the Chinese Civil War came to a dramatic close. Chinese Communist forces under the direction of Mao Zedong completed their conquest of the mainland, and the Republic of China forces under Chiang Kai-shek evacuated to the island of Formosa—also known as Taiwan—off the coast of China. There, the Republic of China’s government licked its wounds while maintaining it was still the legitimate Chinese government. The Chinese Communist Party, on the other hand, established the People’s Republic of China, occupied the mainland, and established its capital in the imperial city of Beijing.
 
Communist China sees Taiwan as a “rogue province,” declaring it a top foreign policy objective (or domestic policy, depending on how you look at it) to bring the island under Beijing’s control. For decades, China did little about Taiwan; Unable to conduct a cross-strait invasion, there was nothing it could do, so the Communist Party bided its time and grew the economy instead.
 
China has made several intrusions into Taiwan’s air defense identification zones.
 
Britain’s defense minister warned that Chinese incursions into the Taiwanese air defense zone were dangerous and could spark conflict.
 
Western capitals and Taipei are on alert after the Chinese air force intensified its overflights on Oct. 1.
 
“Militarily, they are posturing, as we’ve seen. We think that’s unwise,” British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace told reporters.
 
“You’re in danger of destabilizing the region; you’re in danger of provoking further conflict in other disputed areas,” he said during a visit to Brussels for a NATO meeting, which is not expected to discuss China or Taiwan.
 
Joe Biden’s Taiwan Policy has been a total disaster. The Chinese press openly mocks Biden in regards to the Taiwan issue.
 
“He is just too old and likes to bluff, doesn’t know what he is talking about,” tweeted China Daily’s Chen Weihua, referring to President Joe Biden.
 
The dismissive comment confirms that America’s deterrence of China is eroding fast. Biden told CNN’s Anderson Cooper he would defend Taiwan. This statement did more damage than good because it shows that Biden doesn’t understand America’s policy of not mentioning who we would defend.
 
Biden’s definitive statement was a stark departure from America’s decades-old policy of “strategic ambiguity,” the policy of telling neither Beijing nor Taipei what the U.S. would do in the case of imminent conflict.
 
The walk-back statements could lead Beijing to believe there are disagreements inside the Biden administration, and in a crisis, some officials would try to override the President to block an American defense of Taiwan.
 
The United States has major interests in Taiwan. Taiwan is also a major economic force, manufacturing over 60 percent of semiconductors worldwide. Beyond that, it has major strategic value to the U.S.: For the Chinese air and naval forces to venture into the western Pacific today, they must pass Russian, Japanese, Philippine, and Taiwanese territory. If the People’s Republic of China gained Taiwan, it would have an unobstructed springboard into the Pacific Ocean.
 
I don’t think China will invade Taiwan because all the energy of Asia will need to be the focus of the massive invasion of the Middle East. Demonic force will work to build the 200 million army, and since it’s “the kings of the East” the Chinese forces may join unlikely nations like Japan, North and South Korea, and Taiwan.

"The ports shutting down is worse than Lehman Brothers failing. Both can lead to catastrophic failures of all counterparties depending on them. But with Lehman, the government could just print tons of money to flood the banks with liquidity," Ryan Petersen, chief executive officer of logistics company Flexport, warned Friday after touring logjammed U.S. West Coast ports.
 
Petersen said his firm hired a boat captain to tour Los Angeles and Long Beach ports, which account for 40% of all shipping containers entering the U.S. He said during the three-hour loop through the ports, passing every single terminal, "we saw less than a dozen containers get unloaded."
 
He said the twin ports have hundreds of cranes but only "seven were even operating and those that were seemed to be going pretty slow." He said the bottleneck that everyone now agrees on is "yard space" and that "terminals are simply overflowing with containers, which means they no longer have space to take in new containers either from ships or land. It's a true traffic jam."
 
"The bottleneck right now is not the cranes. It's yard space at the container terminals. And it's empty chassis to come clear those containers out," he said.
 
The twin ports appear to be at a standstill even though President Biden issued a directive last week to keep them operating on a 24/7 basis. But that seems to be not enough because the president has weighed the use of the National Guard to alleviate constraints.
 
Petersen suggested a "simple plan" for the state and federal government to partner with ports, truckers, and everyone else in the chain to create temporary container yards that stack empty ones up to six high instead of the limit of two. This would "free up tens of thousands of chassis that right now are just storing containers on wheels. Those chassis can immediately be taken to the ports to haul away the containers."
 
He said it was necessary to correct this bottleneck because it's a "negative feedback loop that is rapidly cycling out of control that will destroy the global economy if it continues unabated."
 
Goldman Sachs' Jordan Alliger agreed and told clients to monitor the ports. He said, "the most notable congestion indicator is the number of container ships anchored waiting to offload their freight returned to 70 ships anchored on October 18 after hitting a record of 73 on September 19, compared to their pre-pandemic average of 0-1 ships."
 
Petersen is right. The monetary leadership at the Federal Reserve are way over their heads. They can't print their way out of this shipping crisis they helped sparked by unleashing unprecedented monetary injections into capital markets over the last 19 months. The circulatory system of the global economy risks breaking as port congestion worsens.

Is Joe Biden about to apply the finishing blow to the U.S. economy? If you don’t understand what I am talking about, just keep reading. Somehow it seems appropriate that “the Grim Creeper” is in charge during the dying days of the U.S. economic system. The U.S. dollar is being systematically destroyed, there are significant shortages all over the nation, a horrifying global energy crisis has suddenly erupted, and we are facing the most epic shortage of workers in our entire history. As a result of the worker shortage, thousands upon thousands of very basic tasks that need to get done in order for our economy to run smoothly simply aren’t getting done. This is one of the reasons why we are now facing the worst supply chain headaches that any of us have ever seen, and it is in this environment that Biden has chosen to deliver the coup de grâce.
 
As I have discussed previously, Biden’s absurd mandates will force millions upon millions of highly skilled Americans out of their jobs at a time when big companies all over the U.S. are already extremely desperate for workers. Over the past few weeks, scores of business leaders have been traveling to Washington to beg Biden to at least delay his mandates until after the holiday season…
 
Worried that President Joe Biden’s Covid vaccine mandate for private companies could cause a mass exodus of employees, business groups are pleading with the White House to delay the rule until after the holiday season.
 
White House officials at the Office of Management and Budget held dozens of meetings with labor unions, industry lobbyists and private individuals last week as the administration conducts its final review of the mandate, which will require businesses with 100 or more employees to ensure they are vaccinated against Covid or tested weekly for the virus. It is estimated to cover roughly two-thirds of the private sector workforce.
 
But so far the White House has been unmoved.
 
It is almost as if Biden can’t wait to drop the hammer on the economy.
 
Needless to say, these mandates will make the unprecedented supply chain crisis that we are currently dealing with far, far worse. If you doubt this, just consider what the trucking industry is potentially facing…
 
The American Trucking Associations, which will meet with the OMB on Tuesday, warned the administration last week that many drivers will likely quit rather than get vaccinated, further disrupting the national supply chain at time when the industry is already short 80,000 drivers.
 
The trucking association estimates companies covered by the mandate could lose 37% of drivers through retirements, resignations and workers switching to smaller companies not covered by the requirements.
 
Okay, so let me get this straight.
 
We need 80,000 more truck drivers right now, and Biden wants to fire 37 percent of those that we currently have on the roads?
 
In the past I have written articles about what would happen if America’s trucks stopped running, and we might be on the verge of actually seeing about a third of them suddenly shut down.
 
If you think that our store shelves are empty now, just wait until that happens.
 
And the trucking industry is just a small part of the overall picture. Just imagine what our country would look like if millions upon millions of important workers suddenly vanished from the system.
 
When I said that Biden was about to deliver a “finishing blow”, I was not kidding.
 
Over in Europe, they are facing a problem of a different nature. A severe shortage of magnesium threatens to reach a major crisis point next month, and that could result in millions of jobs being lost…
 
Europe purchases 95% of its magnesium from China, will run out of the industrial metal used to strengthen aluminum by the end of November that could threaten millions of jobs in sectors from automobiles to aerospace to defense and much more, according to Bloomberg.
 
Three trade groups, including European Aluminium, Eurometaux, and industriAll, warn shipments from China are dwindling quick due to power cuts to energy-intensive magnesium smelters. They said if reserves of the industrial metal aren’t increased in the near term, it may result in trade production shortages, factory closures, and job losses.
 
Over the years, how many times did I warn that it was foolish to become so dependent on China?
 
Now Europe is about to learn this lesson the hard way.
 
So much of the pain that the western world is experiencing now could have been avoided if we would have made different policy decisions when we had the chance.
 
To a very large degree, our wounds are self-inflicted, and now Biden is going in for the kill.
 
Once his mandates go into effect, millions of hard working Americans will be ruthlessly fired and suddenly won’t have any paychecks coming in.
 
Meanwhile, inflation is starting to get out of control and the cost of living is absolutely soaring. Earlier today, I was horrified to learn that propane prices have skyrocketed to utterly insane levels…
 
Propane prices haven’t been so high heading into winter in a decade, which is bad news for the millions of rural Americans who rely on the fuel to stay warm.
 
At $1.41 a gallon at the Mont Belvieu trading hub in Texas, on-the-spot prices are about triple those of the past two Octobers. Of the two main U.S. propane futures contracts, one hit a high earlier this month and the other doesn’t have far to climb to eclipse the record it set during the blizzard of 2014. The average residential price tracked by the U.S. Energy Information Administration has jumped by 50% from a year ago, to $2.69 a gallon.
 
Unfortunately, propane supplies are supposed to become even tighter in the months ahead.
 
They keep telling us that this is going to be a “dark winter”, but for many Americans it will be a very cold winter too.
 
I am doing my best to sound the alarm, and so many of the things that I have warned about are now happening right in front of our eyes.
 
But most of the population still doesn’t want to believe that things are really this bad.
 
Most of them are still convinced that better days are just around the corner, and it would be wonderful if they were actually correct.

Facebook will put its disclaimer on this Daily Jot telling everyone where they can get accurate information about the COVID “vaccines,” but you need to know. The National Institutes of Health has admitted that it partially funded gain of function for the COVID virus, meaning COVID czar Dr. Anthony Fauci lied to Congress and the American people. Now, Marxist-leaning brainiacs like MIT professor Noam Chomsky say those refusing to take the COVID vaccine should be isolated from society. The president, media, big tech, big med, big pharma agree. A growing number of Americans, police, nurses, doctors are among them, however, are pushing back and are starting to stand for their rights.
 
The Epoch Times interviewed several nurses who were about to lose their jobs for refusing the jab. Representative of the nurses interviewed were the comments of Emily Nixon, an 18-year RN from Maine: “Breakthrough cases are not properly reported on. We know this vaccine is ‘leaky.’ The safety and effectiveness of this vaccine has not been proven. There are other safe and alternative treatments. It is impossible to give fully informed consent without long-term, unbiased data. Threatening our jobs is blatant coercion. Our God-given right to bodily integrity and personal autonomy has been stripped with these mandates and we will not stand for it.” Jaclyn Zubiate asked, “Why would I need a vaccine for something with a 99 percent survival rate that does not have any distinguishable features?” She also noted she has seen a variety of bad side effects.
 
The civil rights issue is real. The Police Benevolent Association, New York City’s largest police union, has filed suit against the city’s vax mandate, arguing its members have a right to their personal medical choice of whether to take the jab. Former ESPN reporter Allison Williams, who was coerced into leaving her job or take the vaccine, told Sirius CM host Megyn Kelly that President Biden’s “crazy” mandates, saying “this isn’t about your freedom,” is something “a dictator says. That’s not something a leader of free people says.” She said, “This country exists on the principle of freedom. We are the land of the free and the home of the brave, and if we don’t have freedom over our own bodies, if our bodily autonomy is not respected, this God-given Constitutionally protected right to determine what we do with our bodies, we aren’t free.”
 
Then there are patient rights issues. In an OP ED piece for the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Lee Vliet, practicing physician and leader of Truth for Health Foundation, wrote, “Shocking recordings of Mayo Clinic-Scottsdale and Banner Health System hospital executives have been released by an attorney on the Legal Advisory Council of Truth for Health an Arizona public charity. Executives were discussing coordinated efforts to restrict fluids and nutrition for hospitalized COVID patients and to suppress all visitations for COVID patients.” These protocols and more are occurring across the nation. Psalm 82:3 says, “Defend the poor and fatherless: uphold the rights of the afflicted and needy.” There is a lot of bad stuff going on. Don’t be bullied by mandates. Know your rights and stand for them for yourself and others.

When we face a crisis, what do we usually do? We worry. But worry isn’t very productive. In fact, it’s counterproductive. And by the way some Christians act, you would think the Bible says, “Worry about everything and never pray about anything.”
 
However, the Bible actually says the very opposite: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6–7 NLT).
 
When David was about to face the giant Goliath, he said, “Everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us! As Goliath moved closer to attack, David quickly ran out to meet him” (1 Samuel 17:47–48 NLT).
 
David ran toward his giant to attack him. Earlier in the story we read that Goliath left the Philistine ranks to come out and taunt Israel. That’s how sin is. It will get closer and encroach on you. And if you tolerate giants, they’ll take over your territory. They’ll come right up on your doorstep.
 
That’s why you don’t run from giants. For example, let’s say that you have a problem with a substance of some kind. Maybe it’s drugs. Maybe it’s alcohol. Or maybe it’s something else. You need to bring it into the light of day and say, “I have a problem, and I need to face this giant. I need to deal with this.”
 
Quit covering it up. Quit rationalizing it or justifying it. Push it out of the shadows where it has lurked and bring it into the open. Start praying and using the spiritual weapons that God has given you because He is bigger than your giant.
 
God is in control, and He is more powerful than our adversary.
