Researchers at the Naval Postgraduate School have told us that the entire Arctic ice cap may totally disappear in summer in as little as five years if nothing is done to curb emissions of greenhouse gas pollution. Al Gore, Academy and Nobel Prize Winner, 2009 For the past 100 years, we have had an endless train of climate prophets promoting their environmental armageddonism and climate alarmism regarding a coming global threat of "______." I leave that particular threat blank because frankly, the threat keeps morphing to fit the current political narrative, rather than the facts on the ground. Nevertheless, these purveyors of climate doom and gloom have repeatedly and consistently gotten it wrong almost every time they open their mouths. What is truly amazing is that anyone still listens to them, much less give them both an Academy Award (An Inconvenient Truth) as well as a Nobel Prize. Just like the failed prophecies of Balaam, when these false climate prophets say it’s going to be global cooling, then the world heats up. If they say it’s going to be global warming, then things begin to cool down. God is purposely making them look foolish to show them the height of their folly. This explains why they have (as of a few years ago) changed the political narrative to the generic catch-all, “climate change.” As previously mentioned, world leaders are hell-bent on reordering the world system to adjust to the coming global government that they are trying to create. Now, these human political puppets don’t truly understand what is coming per se (because they reject the Biblical worldview), but the demonic forces behind their thrones do. Satan and his forces are the ones actively pulling their strings to prepare for what is coming. They know judgment that is coming, and they also know the ecological, terrestrial, and geological impacts these judgments will bring to the earth. I mean to say, they were there for the Noahic Flood, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the tower of Babel, and the Exodus plagues. They know what God is capable and willing to do. Thus, they are attempting to corral mankind into some kind of preemptive defensive position long before it does. Below is my theorized summarization of the twenty-one judgments and their environmental impacts on earth. Everything highlighted in red are judgments that appear to have some kind of ecological/terrestrial/geological impact upon the earth as well as the area surrounding the earth. While I acknowledge the other judgments and their horrific impacts upon mankind, the effects of those are currently outside the scope of this brief and will not be addressed. The Seven Seals (Revelation 6): One-fourth of the world’s population will die 1. The First Seal- *the White Horse (Antichrist) Typically speaking, the rise of political power doesn’t necessarily mean ecological catastrophe. However, the coming Ten Nation/Region Confederacy will likely use and strengthen current environmental policies (Paris Climate Accord, Kyoto Protocols, Green New Deal, etc.) as a means to cement their global authority over the nations. (See Agenda 2030, Sustainable Development Goals, etc.) 2. The Second Seal- *the Red Horse (War) Given the draconian nature of the globalist power grabs, war will be inevitable as rogue nations such as Russia and China revolt. War always introduces tremendous ecological damage to whatever environment it takes place. Whether we are talking about burning ships, cities, bombs (esp. nuclear weapons), biological weapons, and just the overall wear and tear caused by giant mechanical vehicles, the earth takes a beating during times of war. If these coming war(s) are global in nature, you can expect environmental damage to occur at World War II levels. 3. The Third Seal- *the Black Horse (Scarcity) We know that the rider on the black horse introduces incredible economic calamity to the earth. Presumably, this occurs thru the Ten Nation/Region Confederacy (the Beast) attempt at forcing the whole world into this new economic mark of the beast system, which intentionally causes widespread famine and economic disparity. Famine is usually either caused by governmental malfeasance, or environmental drought or pestilence. We can assume in this particular Seal Judgment, it is the former. 4. The Fourth Seal- *the Pale Horse (death) The obvious implications of the black horse, lead to the activation of the consequences of the Pale Horse. IF part of the judgment of the Black Horse is the global rise in temperatures, then we should expect to see the Polar Ice caps melting. In so doing, this melting could unleash some potentially very bad viruses and/or bacteria that have laid dormant under the ice for millennia. This could also be a furious unleashing of new variants in present viruses that either make them much more transmissible, or untreatable. 5. The Fifth Seal. Martyrdom of those who refuse to worship the Beast (slaughter of the Tribulation saints) 6. The Sixth Seal- *the Great Earthquake The Sixth Seal unleashes an earthquake of such magnitude, it causes massive disturbances in both the earth and the atmosphere. The atmospheric disturbances appear to cause the dust and smoke to obscures our neighboring solar objects, as such, causing the sun to appear black, and the moon to appear blood red. This mega-earthquake seems to occur in conjunction with a major cosmic disturbance (such as an extreme solar storm or Coronal Mass Ejection (CME)). A massive CME has the potential to wipe out all of earth’s satellites thus triggering a global internet and global communications blackout as information platforms collapse around the world. It seems the world leaders appear to know this cosmic storm is coming ahead of time as they hide in DUMBs (Deep Underground Military Bunkers) around the world and try and wait it out. This may also explain why the earth dwellers hide from the “Wrath of the Lamb” as environmental judgments appear to happen both subterraneanly as well as atmospherically, simultaneously. Another thought is that these earth dwellers are led to believe (potentially as part of the great delusion) that this is Sixth Seal Judgment is “Judgment Day,” and after surviving it (thinking the worst is behind them), set out to rebuild the new world order. 7. Silence in heaven The Seven Trumpets (Revelation 8–11): One-third of the world’s population dies 1. The First Trumpet Judgment Hail and fire mixed with blood strike the earth, burning up one-third of the world’s vegetation. It is unknown whether this is hail-fire is a global storm, or if it only strikes a targeted area. My theory on this is it hits and environmentally decimates the Americas. The Western Hemisphere (North, Central, and South America) make up one-third (28.4%) of the earth’s landmass. My reasoning for this is, God begins to channelize the world’s population back to the boundaries of the Old World. In terms of why blood is mingled in with the hail a) I believe it is real blood (or else it would have been described “like” blood) and b) this blood is part of the judgment for the loss of all the innocent lives on earth and is similar to what we also see in the Gog-Magog destruction (Ezekiel 38:22). 2. The Second Trumpet Judgment A great mountain cast into the sea kills a third of the ocean life and turns those seas/oceans into blood. The obvious implications would be, this would completely shut down all marine traffic in the affected areas, as well as causing a horrific stench to arise (as all the sea life in those areas die) and float to the surface. My theory is that this judgment takes place in the Atlantic Ocean (which makes up a third of all the bodies of water- 29%) and is one of the most heavily trafficked oceans in the world. This would absolutely shut down trans-oceanic travel between the Old World and the New. Again, the purpose is to channelize and limit the Antichrist’s ability to maneuver and control all the world. Granted, he probably wouldn’t want the Americas either (if my theory is correct) after these first two Trumpet Judgments occur. What exactly is this great mountain? First, we should note that the text says “something like a great mountain” was thrown into the sea. It could easily be a great meteor or comet that strikes the Atlantic Ocean causing some form of contamination. A more naturalistic explanation would require something like a volcanic eruption (La Palma Volcano, Canary Island for example) triggering a massive mountain to fall into the ocean. This would presumably cause a massive tsunami that somehow poisons the Atlantic. Arguably, this latter explanation seems more implausible than something striking it from space. 3. Third Trumpet Judgment As the 2nd Trumpet Judgment struck the salty seas, this cosmic Wormwood (meteor or comet) ends up poisoning (makes bitter) a third of the drinking water. Again, a third part of the worlds’ fresh waters (rivers, lakes, and springs) are found in the Americas. If my theory is correct, God is making the Western Hemisphere completely untenable and inaccessible to the Beast Kingdom. 4. Fourth Trumpet Judgment A third of the sun, moon, and stars darkened, as well as a third of the day and a third of the night, was darkened. Somehow, a great atmospheric disturbance blots out the light from the solar sources (sun, moon, and stars). Now, one theory is that this would introduce great cold (i.e. a mini-ice age) and plummet temperatures due to the obscuration from the sun. Another thought could be that we get the darkness, but the heat increases. This would obviously defy natural law and seemingly impose some supernatural law as a preview of hell on earth. 5. First Woe (demonic locusts plague those who take the mark) 6. Second Woe (one-third of mankind killed by a demonic army, death of Two Witnesses, earthquake in Jerusalem) 7. Third woe Essentially, this judgment introduces all of what we see in the cataclysmic seven Bowl Judgments as all being part of and wrapped up in this Third Woe. Here is what some of the most respected Christian Eschatologists have said regarding the Third Woe. Dwight Pentecost in Things to Come (Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 1958) states: "The seventh trumpet and the third woe judgment (11:15) brings about the return of Christ to the earth and the subsequent destruction of all hostile powers at the conclusion of the Armageddon program" (362). Arnold G. Fruchtenbaum in The Footsteps of the Messiah: A Study of the Sequence of Prophetic Events (Tustin, CA: Ariel Ministries, 2003) states (emphasis added): “The seventh trumpet that contains the seven Bowl Judgments is the third woe (239).” John F. Walvoord, “Revelation,” in The Bible Knowledge Commentary: An Exposition of the Scriptures, edited by J. F. Walvoord and R. B. Zuck (Wheaton, IL: Victor Books, 1985) states: “The seventh trumpet chronologically reaches to Christ’s return. Therefore the seventh trumpet introduces and includes the seven bowl judgments of the wrath of God revealed in chapter 16 (2:956-957).” (Source) The Seven Bowl Judgments (Revelation 16): 1. The First Bowl: Grievous sores on those who take the mark of the Beast 2. The Second Bowl Let’s assume for a second that the 2nd Trumpet Judgment did only affect the Atlantic Ocean. Now, we have the Second Bowl impacting the rest of the world’s oceans. The economic impacts would be massive as global sea trade grinds to a halt. This could also mean, presumably, a limit to the Antichrist’s military forces. If previous judgments impacted air travel (lightning, diminished natural light, atmospheric obscurations, etc.), then the Antichrist and the rest of the world forces are increasingly bound by land travel. Furthermore, this would cripple many nations that have come to depend on desalinization (turning seawater into drinking water) as their primary source of drinking water. 3. The Third Bowl Great thirst begins to fill the world as the rest of the rivers and freshwater are turned to blood. Presumably, this happens fairly close to the Armageddon Campaign as the human race could not long survive without water. However, there is a passage speaking to men wanting to die, but not being able to which may play into this somehow (Revelation 9:6). 4. The Fourth Bowl Adding salt to the wound of the increasingly thirsty earth dwellers is the great heat that fills the kingdom of the beast. 5. The Fifth Bowl A terrifying picture is beginning to develop of hell on earth- great unquenchable thirst, blistering heat, and now, a supernaturally dark, darkness fills the kingdom of the beast. My understanding of this is that these three judgments (3rd, 4th, and 5th) force those who were living here out very quickly as they flee for other areas not as impacted by the judgments. 6. The Sixth Bowl Euphrates River dries up allowing for the kings of the east to march westward to the land of Israel. We can assume that if the previous three judgments target the kingdom of the beast, and that kingdom now lies somewhere in the vicinity of modern-day Iraq-Saudi Arabia-Syria, the heat could be the primary factor for the Euphrates drying up and why these forces have to travel by land (rather than flying or sailing). 7. The Seventh Bowl Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great. Revelation 16:17-21 Noises, thunderings, and lightnings: serves to unnerve mankind and display God’s power. There are appears to be an escalation or intensification of this as we progress through the book of Revelation. G.K. Beale, in his book, The Book of Revelation, notes the intensification: Rev. 4.5: lightnings, rumblings, thunders Rev. 8.5: lightnings, rumblings, thunders, earthquake Rev. 11.19: lightnings, rumblings, thunders, earthquake, hail Rev. 16.18-21: lightnings, rumblings, thunders, great earthquake, great hail Great hailstones: 100 lb. hailstones would absolutely decimate any standing structures they land upon. (see Job 38:22-23, Exodus 9:22-26, Joshua 10:11) World’s greatest earthquake (megathrust): levels all the cities of the world, as well as sinking and displacing every island, and levels the world’s mountain ranges. The greatest earthquake in recorded history was the 9.5 earthquake that struck Valdivia, Chile, in 1960. The magnitude of the earthquake is not just in how strong it shakes, but also in how long it shakes. For this Seventh Bowl earthquake to do what the Bible says it’s going to do, would have to be well north of a magnitude 10.0. According to the USGS website, someone asked a similar question. Note my emphasis: "Can "MegaQuakes" really happen? Like a magnitude 10 or larger? No, earthquakes of magnitude 10 or larger cannot happen. The magnitude of an earthquake is related to the length of the fault on which it occurs. That is, the longer the fault, the larger the earthquake. A fault is a break in the rocks that make up the Earth's crust, along which rocks on either side have moved past each other. No fault long enough to generate a magnitude 10 earthquake is known to exist, and if it did, it would extend around most of the planet." Now, I certainly would not want to test God’s ability to make a 10.0+ earthquake happen, but apparently, everywhere I’ve read said it’s impossible. The experts base their reasoning on the length of fault lines we currently know about, but I have a sneaking feeling that God is going to make it happen with or without fault lines. However, I don’t put too much stock into what the “experts” say, as these are also the same folk who would say that the parting of the Red Sea, or walking on water was impossible as well. All we know is that there is a mega-quake coming, which is so strong, it causes the islands to sink and the mountain ranges to flatten. How strong that earthquake is, or how it happens exactly, is beyond our ability to understand it at the present. We just know it is coming. Conclusion If the US collapses after the Rapture (she will) then it only makes sense that God is channelizing people back to the Old World. Perhaps the reason He is doing this is that it will force the Beast Kingdom to align and function according to their ancient boundaries and that being primarily around the Mediterranean and Israel. This channelizing into denser populations also serves to intensify the effects of the judgments upon the remaining populations. The 21+ divine judgments also seem to serve the purpose of both, purging, as well as, terraforming the earth ahead of the impending Kingdom Age. And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.” So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. Revelation 14:18-19 We know creation is presently groaning under the burden of the Adamic sin-curse. We also know the earth is drowning in all the blood that has been shed on her ground since Cain slew Abel (Romans 8:20-22, Genesis 4:10-11). With the fires, the pestilences, the oceans and rivers turning to blood, comets, cosmic storms, the megaquakes, and the massive hailstones pummelling the earth, this purging-terraforming seems to be addressing every spectrum of life from the largest cosmic body to the smallest microscopic particle. In a sense, God is turning creation inside out while He is pouring out the full measure of His wrath upon a Christ-rejecting world (Jer. 30:7-11). Ultimately, we know that after the Millennial Reign of Christ, the heavens and the earth will be destroyed by fire and then, God creates a "new heaven and a new earth." (Rev. 21) It is here that we will live our eternal life in a supercharged reality that is superior in every possible way to our world today. Now, if live in a world today that has some breathtakingly beautiful scenery, imagine what this new heaven and new earth will hold. Physically, we will be able to explore and experience this new reality with zero fear or limitations. If we want to fly into space, we can. If we want to explore the deepest portions of this new earth, we can. We won't be limited by oxygen or altitude pressure, by water or by fire. Even better still, is that we will live harmoniously with all of nature as God always intended it. Now, with this in mind, if we can just keep our gaze fixed on the world to come, rather than on this fallen planet that is currently collapsing around us, it will preserve our joy and our hope in the reality to come. I know it is difficult to see the world today and think there is any light at the end of that tunnel, and you're correct. There is no saving this planet (in its current form), and even if you could, would you? So much blood, violence, and wickedness have been committed here that this current form of the earth, must be purged in order for us to move on. And if we are seeing the signs of the end now, and those signs are escalating at a pace and intensity that is scaring you (and me), it is now we lean into Christ and trust in His strength to carry us through. If I can paraphrase C.S. Lewis on this matter, we look ahead because far better days lay ahead than any we leave behind. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:11-13 The Danger of Invoking God's Name in The Vaccine Debate – Michael Brown - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=4986 More than 20 years ago, I was part of a ministry team conducting a large event in Ohio. At the outset of the meeting, the mayor came to the platform to address the substantial crowd and to welcome us to his city. Then, in a desire to sound inclusive, he proceeded to speak about God as "he" or "she" or whoever we conceived the deity to be. You could say he misread the crowd by a country mile, and the main speaker had to act quickly to stop the booing. The lesson, of course, is simple. This man was elected to be the mayor, not the spiritual leader of the city, and he would have done best to leave the God talk to us. As it is, preachers and pastors make enough mistakes in the name of the Lord, often misrepresenting Him. All the more, then, should politicians be careful when claiming to make statements about Him or for Him. Best to leave the preaching to those who know the Word. Arrogance: "God Did Not Do That" Last April, New York governor Andrew Cuomo ruffled some feathers by giving God no credit for the temporary COVID improvements they were witnessing in his state. In his words, "God did not do that. Faith did not do that. Destiny did not do that. A lot of pain and suffering did that ... That's how it works. It's math." Of course, since he wanted to take full credit for the decrease in COVID, pointing to the successful nature of the shutdown, he should have also taken full blame for his disastrous decision to fill the nursing homes with elderly COVID victims in order to free up hospital beds for the expected younger patients. (The move was ethically wrong and unnecessary in reality.) To speak on behalf of God, especially without scriptural authority, let alone divine calling to do so, is a serious and ugly error. But what got immediate attention was the arrogance of his words. Mr. Governor, please do not denigrate God's mercy. You have no idea what God did and did not do in answer to the prayers of many. Unfortunately, after Cuomo's sudden and dramatic fall from grace, forcing his resignation, it appears that his replacement, Gov. Kathy Hochul, has not yet learned the lesson. More Arrogance: People Who Aren't Vaccinated "Aren't Listening to God" Speaking at Brooklyn's Christian Cultural Center this past Sunday, she said, God did answer our prayers. He made the smartest men and women, the scientists, the doctors, the researchers -- he made them come up with a vaccine. That is from God to us and we must say, thank you, God. Thank you. And I wear my "vaccinated" necklace all the time to say I'm vaccinated. All of you, yes, I know you're vaccinated, you're the smart ones, but you know there's people out there who aren't listening to God and what God wants. You know who they are. So, not only are the unvaccinated not "the smart ones," they "aren't listening to God and what God wants," and she, the governor, has the authority to say so. Is this not the height of hubris, even if unintended? I have no problem with her extolling the vaccines, based on her understanding of their effectiveness. I have no problem with her thanking God for gifting human beings with the ability to develop these vaccines so quickly. In fact, if she thinks the vaccines are highly beneficial, by all means, let her thank God. (That's something that Gov. Cuomo missed himself when taking all the credit for the effectiveness of his measures.) And I have no problem with her saying it's smart to be vaccinated, if those are her convictions. Tens of millions of others, including many Christian leaders, would agree with her. Way Beyond Her Place But to say that God is actually speaking to people to get vaccinated and they're not listening to Him is to go way beyond her place as governor -- and I would underscore those words "way beyond" about 100 times for emphasis' sake. She would even be way out of line as a pastor to make such a statement. But as a governor? Really? Who appointed her the arbiter of what God is and is not saying to His children? And what of those who, after much prayer, reflection, counsel, and serious research, concluded that the vaccine was not for them? She is also going to denigrate these people as not smart? She continued, "I need you to be my apostles." Yes, I need you to go out and talk about it and say, we owe this to each other. We love each other. Jesus taught us to love one another and how do you show that love but to care about each other enough to say, please get the vaccine because I love you and I want you to live, I want our kids to be safe when they're in schools, I want to be safe when you go to a doctor's office or to a hospital and are treated by somebody, you don't want to get the virus from them. A Serious and Ugly Error Again, I appreciate her sentiments, wanting the people of her state to be safe. And, given her beliefs in the efficacy of the vaccine, I recognize that in her mind, to spread the pro-vaccine word is to act in love. All good and all clear. But to speak on behalf of God, especially without scriptural authority, let alone divine calling to do so, is a serious and ugly error. After sacrificing so much over the past couple of years, thousands of heroes of the COVID pandemic are now being forced to make a heartbreaking choice. Either they will have to violate very deeply held convictions and beliefs, or they will have to give up their careers. The way that our healthcare workers are being treated is utterly shameful, and it is a stain on this nation that will not soon be erased. And thanks to these “mandates”, the next time you go to the hospital the lack of workers may mean that you don’t get the treatment that you desperately need. We already had a shortage of healthcare workers before the pandemic came along, and this is something that I have written about multiple times over the years. When COVID started sweeping across America, many healthcare facilities were absolutely overwhelmed, and there were some healthcare workers that couldn’t handle the pressure. Many ended up leaving, and that resulted in the shortages getting even worse. Of course countless numbers of healthcare workers have been faithful to keep showing up for work day after day throughout this entire crisis, and now thousands upon thousands of them are being ruthlessly discarded. Mandates that have been instituted by major healthcare providers, state governments and the federal government are going to force the firing of countless numbers of COVID pandemic heroes. I can’t even begin to describe how heartless this is. And considering the fact that we are already experiencing shortages of healthcare workers all over the country, this appears to be a really, really foolish thing to do. According to Fox Business, healthcare institutions all over America “are bracing for worsening staff shortages”… Hospitals and nursing homes around the U.S. are bracing for worsening staff shortages as state deadlines arrive for health care workers to get vaccinated against COVID-19. With ultimatums taking effect this week in states like New York, California, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, the fear is that some employees will quit or let themselves be fired or suspended rather than get the vaccine. I really don’t know what leaders in these states are thinking. You can’t just create more healthcare workers out of thin air. It takes years of training to become a doctor or a nurse, and so you can’t just hire random people off the street to fill empty positions. In many states, officials have no idea how they are going fill all of the empty positions that they are creating, but they are moving ahead anyway. For example, this just happened in North Carolina… A North Carolina-based hospital system announced Monday that roughly 175 unvaccinated employees were fired for failing to comply with the organization’s mandatory coronavirus vaccination policy, the latest in a series of health-care dismissals over coronavirus immunization. Novant Health said last week that 375 unvaccinated workers — across 15 hospitals and 800 clinics — had been suspended for not getting immunized. Unvaccinated employees were given five days to comply. Good luck filling those jobs. In New York, a statewide mandate just went into effect, and hundreds of healthcare workers are on the verge of losing their jobs… Hundreds of unvaccinated health care workers across New York were suspended Tuesday and could soon lose their jobs entirely as the state’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate for health care workers went into effect overnight. New York Governor Kathy Hochul appears to be a particularly delusional politician. She says that she will steal medical professionals from other states to fill empty positions, and if that isn’t good enough she seems to think that she can just plug in members of the National Guard… New York state officials are bracing for staffing shortages when the state’s health care worker vaccination mandate takes effect on Monday, and could be looking to the National Guard — as well as medical professionals from other states and countries — to help address them. Gov. Kathy Hochul released a plan on Saturday, outlining the steps she could take to increase the workforce in the event that large numbers of hospital and nursing home employees do not meet the state’s deadline. Needless to say, the biggest mandate is the one that is going to be instituted on the federal level. The Biden administration is attempting to force 17 million healthcare workers that are employed by institutions that accept Medicare and/or Medicaid to be vaccinated. That is going to result in the largest loss of healthcare workers that we have ever seen, and that will likely mean that the national shortage of healthcare workers will soon grow to epic proportions. Sadly, the Democrats are not backing down. In fact, just look at what they are trying to sneak through in Congress… Buried on page 168 of the House Democrats’ 2,465-page mega bill is a tenfold increase in fines for employers that “willfully,” “repeatedly,” or even seriously violate a section of labor law that deals with hazards, death, or serious physical harm to their employees. The increased fines on employers could run as high as $70,000 for serious infractions, and $700,000 for willful or repeated violations—almost three-quarters of a million dollars for each fine. If enacted into law, vax enforcement could bankrupt non-compliant companies even more quickly than the $14,000 OSHA fine anticipated under Biden’s announced mandate. These people are playing for keeps. Earlier today I was reflecting on the events of the past couple of weeks, and it made me very sad. There is no going back. Very dark times have arrived, and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. I know that sounds really bad, but I’m not going to sugarcoat things for you. Some of you are going to have to find new jobs. Others will have to find entirely new careers. Of course a lot of you are going to have to move out of the states that you are living in right now entirely. Sadly, there isn’t anywhere that you can go inside this country to escape the federal mandates. And all over the nation, we are going to see very serious shortages of healthcare workers. As our healthcare institutions are flooded by the incapacitated and the dying, there simply is not going to be enough people to treat them all. It is going to be a complete and utter nightmare, but as I said in the opening paragraph, it didn’t have to be this way. Personally, I could never understand why people would watch that stuff unfold day after day on TV. Yet, this show thrived for 54 years, and that was just one out of several others. Today, as I and many other Christians behold current events, I’m made dizzy as our world turns around us in the 21st century. Many Christians wonder, “Are we living on borrowed time?” Several prophecy teachers have actually stated that very question, and I would have to agree with them. We are living on borrowed time. Before God destroyed the world with a flood in Noah’s day, He warned everyone that His judgment was coming. Noah preached God’s message of warning for 120 years, and no one listened except those in his family. When the time was up, it started to rain, but not before He removed Enoch from the earth and secured Noah and his family safely in the ark. Before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, they were warned. Then fire came down from heaven, but not before God removed Lot and his family. Before God destroyed Nineveh, the capital of Assyria, they were warned by Jonah in about the 9th century B.C. They repented at that time and were saved, but eventually were destroyed three centuries later because they went back to their old ways of corruption. God warned Israel, the northern kingdom, until they were finally taken into captivity by Assyria around 721 B.C. God warned Judah also until they too were taken into captivity by the Babylonians around 586 B.C. God has always provided warnings before He administered His judgment, and He is warning our world today, not just by prophets but also through many signs that His judgment is coming. This coming judgment is called several names, some of which are:
This coming judgment upon the world is commonly known to us today as the Tribulation. Jesus told us the Church will suffer many tribulations while in the world, but these tribulations brought on by mankind are not “the” Tribulation. When “the” Tribulation comes upon the world, it will be God’s direct judgment upon mankind. This day is coming just as surely as judgment fell upon the whole world in Noah’s day, and on Sodom and Gomorrah in Lot’s day, and upon Nineveh, Israel, Judah and other peoples. The purpose of the Tribulation concerning the Jewish people is found in Daniel 9:24. “Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.” The purpose of the Tribulation concerning all Gentiles is to judge the world’s rebellion against God, but even through His judgment, many will come to Him and be saved. It is always His desire, even in judgment, that many be saved. “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, “because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead” (Acts 17:30-31). “For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness” (Isaiah 26:9). “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). The Day of the Lord begins with the Tribulation and continues through the Millennium. Many signs or warnings are provided by God to announce the coming Tribulation, but before it begins, Jesus will remove His bride, the Church, from the earth just as He removed Enoch from the coming worldwide flood of Noah’s day and took him to Heaven. The fact that we are seeing so many signs today of the coming Tribulation is an urgent warning that we are living on borrowed time; the Church age is quickly coming to an end. There are no signs for the removal of the Church (Rapture). It will be without warning, and then the Tribulation will commence thereafter. The signs we are seeing today are like signs we receive when a storm is about to arrive. As you know, even before the storm arrives, the clouds start moving in, the temperature drops, there is a different smell in the air, the wind starts blowing, and it starts getting darker. That is where we are today concerning the Tribulation. The Tribulation hasn’t yet arrived, but the clouds are moving in, the world is getting colder, there is a different smell in the air, the winds of rebellion are picking up, and the world is getting darker. How far away is the storm? God is telling us that is His business, but time is running out. When I was young, there weren’t even close to the number of signs we are witnessing today, although when I was a one-year-old, perhaps the greatest sign occurred, and that was Israel becoming a nation. Israel becoming a nation on May 14, 1948, is the foundation for everything else. Then on June 7, 1967, Jerusalem came under Israeli control in the Six-Day War. Since then, the signs have gotten exponentially more numerous and severe, until today, they are actually hard to keep up with. David Reagan, a prophecy teacher and founder of Christ In Prophecy, put the signs in categories to make them easier to follow. He listed his categories as follows: The Signs of Nature The Signs of Society The Spiritual Signs The Signs of Technology The Signs of World Politics The Signs of Israel In the book of Daniel, we find that he, Daniel, was confused by the information that God had provided him concerning the time of the end. God told him: “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase” (Daniel 12:4). It wasn’t meant for Daniel to understand, so God told him to seal the book, and when the time was right, those living at the time of the end would understand. That time is now. God has unsealed the book, and today has opened the minds of His own to understand. The sand in the hourglass of time is nearly depleted. The time is now for all who will to recognize that we can almost see the finish line. Jesus is coming soon, which is a joyous thought for all who know Him as Savior and Lord. It can be a joyous time for anyone who will come to Jesus and be saved. Sure, judgment is coming, and it is going to be beyond terrible, but all who belong to Jesus will not experience His judgment, only His salvation. Jesus’ words to Jerusalem can apply to anyone today who will come to Him and be saved. “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!” (Matthew 23:37). It was an interpretation of the pictures without context, but that didn’t stop the media and the Democratic Party political machine from moving at hyper speed in all the talk shows invoking racism, slavery, crimes against humanity, and, oh yes, blaming former president Donald Trump. When photographer Paul Ratje told KTSM NBC 9 in El Paso that the media was misrepresenting the photos, it didn’t matter. By that time, there was no reining in the narrative that Haitians were being whipped by border agents. Joe Biden led the charge, telling media, “It’s outrageous. I promise you, those people will pay. There will be an investigation, underway now, and there will be consequences. There will be consequences.” He said, “It’s an embarrassment. But beyond an embarrassment is dangerous, it’s wrong, it sends the wrong message around the world or sends the wrong message at home. It’s simply not who we are. ”Kamala Harris, told ABC’s The View, “I was outraged by it. It was horrible and deeply troubling…there needs be consequences and accountability.” Press Secretary Jen Psaki, said Biden “believes that the footage and photos are horrific.” Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) blamed Trump for the policy. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called the photos “heartbreaking.” Then civil rights groups, including the NAACP and the Urban League among others, played the race card in a letter to Biden: “We are hard-pressed in the year 2021 to find more horrific, traumatizing and blatantly racist images than those coming out of the Del Rio area. White (and white-presenting) men on horseback with lariats are seen chasing, yelling and cursing at vulnerable Black asylum seekers who have for weeks and months been fleeing toward what they thought was safety. The actions of these Border Patrol officers are disgraceful and show an indifference to the humanity of Black migrants.” It didn’t matter that the very photographer who took the pictures said he “didn’t ever see them whip anybody.” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, ”To understand and articulate an issue, problem or injustice facing a person, community, or institution you must do research. You must investigate and gather all vital information from all sides of the argument or issue so as to increase your understanding of the problem.” In other words, get your facts straight before you shoot off your mouth. The New York Times first claimed that border agents were “using the reins of their horses to strike at running migrants” then changed its story to say the agents were “waving their reins while pushing migrants back into the Rio Grande.” There is a huge difference between waving reins and whipping people, but truth doesn’t seem to matter to some. Truth: It’s really bad optics for white men (or white-presenting men, whatever that means) to be herding black people on horseback, but the border agents were doing their job irrespective of the race of those entering the US illegally. The knee-jerk reaction of “leaders” who refuse to listen to the facts present a grave danger to all citizens in many ways. In John 8:32, Christ said, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” There is freedom in truth. There is bondage in lies. If you don’t know, or want to know, the difference between reins and whips, you are deceived. These people crossing the border illegally are breaking laws and trespassing. Border agents and the horses they ride are protecting America and enforcing the law. Biden and the media are outraged by it. What does that tell you? Say it with me…Stupidocrisy. One reason is that Satan is allowed to have his way. He’s a fallen angel, which the Bible describes as “the god of this world” and “the prince of the power of the air” (2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT; Ephesians 2:2 NKJV). The Bible also tells us that one day he will be dethroned. He may be insidious and invisible, but he is not invincible. He’s going down, and he knows it. In fact, Revelation 12:12 says, “For the devil has come down to you in great anger, knowing that he has little time” (NLT). That phrase “great anger” could be translated as “a violent outburst of rage.” It’s a term that describes turbulent emotional fury, not simply rational anger but effectively freaking out. That’s because the Devil knows he isn’t going to continue his reign. Even if some liberal theologians don’t believe it, the Devil believes that Jesus Christ is coming back soon. He knows that he has only a little time, so he has great fury. And he wants to take as many people down with him as possible. However, God is sovereign, which means that He is ultimately in control. But He does allow wickedness, and He has allowed the Devil to have a certain leeway. Yet there is coming a day when that is going to change. There is coming a day when Satan will be stopped dead in his tracks. No human system will bring that about, however. God will bring it about. The return of Jesus Christ is bad for Satan, but it’s good for us as believers. For the Devil, it’s an incentive to attack our faith and try to cause us to stumble and fall.
