In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul defines the gospel in the first few verses and declares its effect on their lives, saying, “Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.” He continues with the core of the gospel: “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. “After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time” (1 Corinthians 15:1-8). This volume of Scripture is listed to emphasize the total transformation of Jesus from mortal to immortal in His Son of Man humanity identity. A remarkable fact of His transformation is that He did not experience corruption of His body—it did not return to dust as is the destiny of the human body. (Job 34:15 – “All flesh would perish together, and man would return to dust.” And Ecclesiastes 3:20 – “All go to one place; all are from the dust, and all return to dust.”) Psalm 16:10 tells us this: “For You will not leave My soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.” His body was in the tomb three nights and three days, just as one of those disciples on the road to Emmaus that Sunday afternoon exclaimed, “And this is the third day!” (Tip: Count back three days and three nights to learn what day Jesus was crucified.) What happens, then, when ordinary mortals like you and me reach our time of departure? In the words of 2 Corinthians 5:8, we are “absent from the body and present with the Lord.” The body goes to the grave, and the soul and spirit go into the Lord’s presence. All born-again believers in Christ of this present age are waiting for His return for them, for Jesus said this in John 14:2-3, “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself that where I am, there you may be also.” However, it looks like the scene in Revelation 4 is evidence that the redeemed saints, represented by the twenty-four elders, appear before the throne of the Lord Jesus Christ. No elders are in heaven previously, and no one has been promised a crown for their service to the Lord before this time, except the redeemed ones. Twelve of those elders apparently represent the twelve tribes of Israel, and the other twelve, the apostles. Will Jews who believed in the promise of a coming Redeemer be among those before His throne at that time? That answer is not clearly revealed. If they are” in Christ,” certainly, they are there. Of course, Jews of all their tribes may have believed in the gospel of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ in this age of grace and are, therefore, among those before His throne, as shown in Revelation 4. The manner of transformation that takes place when the coming resurrection of the church age believers are caught up is told in 1 Corinthians 15:50-53: “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” Let’s cross-reference some parallel verses to determine the “whole counsel of God” on the issues: 1 Corinthians 15:53: “For this corruption must put on incorruption.” John 11:25b: “He who believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” 1 Thessalonians 14:16c: “And the dead in Christ shall rise first.” Romans 8:11a: “If the Spirit of Him who raised Christ from the dead dwells in you…” Corruption is in the habitat of the grave, where the body returns to the dust of which it was made. Jesus was raised before corruption would begin after three days, as John 11:39 tells us. We should consider whether Jesus would have suffered corruption at all, having never sinned in His mortal body, but that body was then loaded with the sins of the whole world—past, present, and future! 1 John 2:2 says it plainly: “And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” Look now at the mortal persons who are changed as the bodies of corruption will be, from mortal to immortality, passing over death: 1 Corinthians 15:53b: “And this mortal must put on immortality.” John 11:26: “And whosoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” 1 Thessalonians 4:17: “Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord.” Romans 8:11b: “He who raised Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” It comes down to this: If one is saying there is no such thing as a Rapture, a snatching away of those who belong to the Lord before the seven-year reign of the Antichrist, he must deny the validity of what Jesus said and what Paul further explained in his prophetic disclosures. It defies the certain claim advanced by 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Of course, one can say that those things could happen just before the Second Coming, but the chronology of Scripture has them after Revelation 3 and encased in that invitation in chapter 4: “Come up here!” God is not the author of confusion, so how could He confuse such an important revelation of His future plan? Therefore, I must reject the concept that this Rapture is coming just before the time of the Second Coming of Christ to the earth. For one reason, the marriage supper of the Lamb must fit in there first. Another is the placing of John 14:2-3 “preparation of places for His believers” and their occupation of them. Of course, the scenario in Revelation 4 should be enough to convince anyone of the Rapture’s timing. This transformation in the “twinkling of an eye” is not a new creation of theological intrigue, for Job, some 1,900 years before Christ, made this declaration in Job 19:26: “And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God” (KJV). (Restoration and Resurrection.) The trail through the dust looks like this: “The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man” (1 Corinthians 15:47-49). As Jesus said, “You must be born again,” and Paul concluded, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). And so it is! The corporate media tried very hard to convince us that the Russians were behind the sabotage when it originally happened, but that didn’t make any sense at all. It took 15 years to build the Nord Stream pipelines, and the total cost ultimately surpassed 20 billion dollars. So why would the Russians blow up pipelines that they had invested so much to construct and that were so critical to their own national economy? Sadly, many Americans unquestionably believed the narrative that was being pushed by the Biden administration, but now we have learned that it was the Biden administration that was actually behind the attack. Legendary journalist Seymour Hersh has just published an extremely detailed article entitled “How America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline” in which he lays out precisely what happened. If you are not familiar with Hersh, the following is some good background information about him from Wikipedia… Hersh first gained recognition in 1969 for exposing the My Lai Massacre and its cover-up during the Vietnam War, for which he received the 1970 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting. During the 1970s, Hersh covered the Watergate scandal for The New York Times and revealed the clandestine bombing of Cambodia. In 2004, he reported on the U.S. military‘s mistreatment of detainees at Abu Ghraib prison. He has also won two National Magazine Awards and five George Polk Awards. In 2004, he received the George Orwell Award.[7] As you can see, Hersh is not just another journalist. He was winning awards long before many of you were even born. And he would never go ahead with a story like this unless his source was rock solid. According to Hersh’s source, the plan to blow up the pipelines came from a task force that was originally formed in December 2021… In December of 2021, two months before the first Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine, Jake Sullivan convened a meeting of a newly formed task force—men and women from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the CIA, and the State and Treasury Departments—and asked for recommendations about how to respond to Putin’s impending invasion. Apparently Sullivan made it quite clear that the task force was supposed to “come up with a plan for the destruction of the two Nord Stream pipelines”, and it was also quite clear that Sullivan was “delivering on the desires of the President”… What became clear to participants, according to the source with direct knowledge of the process, is that Sullivan intended for the group to come up with a plan for the destruction of the two Nord Stream pipelines—and that he was delivering on the desires of the President. For the past two years, I have been repeatedly warning my readers that Jake Sullivan is a big time warmonger. So it is not exactly a shock that he was directly involved in this decision. According to Hersh’s source, those that were a part of this task force definitely understood that blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines would be “an act of war”… Everyone involved understood the stakes. “This is not kiddie stuff,” the source said. If the attack were traceable to the United States, “It’s an act of war.” So now that the fact that we have committed an “act of war” against Russia has been revealed for the whole world to see, how will the Russians respond? Will they choose to strike back in some way? Thanks to the foolishness of our leaders in Washington, we are now closer to nuclear war than ever before. At the time when this attack was first being considered, there were a few officials from the CIA and the State Department that were warning about what would happen if the truth was ever revealed… Throughout “all of this scheming,” the source said, “some working guys in the CIA and the State Department were saying, ‘Don’t do this. It’s stupid and will be a political nightmare if it comes out.’” Now the truth has finally come out, and there will be very serious consequences. Ultimately, Sullivan’s working group settled on a plan that involved the planting of underwater explosives. And apparently those underwater explosives were put into place during the BALTOPS22 military exercises in June 2022… In a compelling, 5,000-word report about the alleged attack, Hersh claims diving experts trained at the U.S. Navy Diving and Salvage Center in Florida planted the explosives. The divers are said to have carried out the top secret and highly-dangerous operation during BALTOPS22, a series of military exercises in the Baltic Sea carried out by 16 NATO countries. The U.S. divers reportedly used the highly-publicized, 13-day event in June 2022 as cover for their top-secret mission. The C4 explosives attached to the pipelines were fitted with sensors that enabled them to be detonated remotely at a later date, Hersh reports. There was concern that it would be obvious that the U.S. was behind the attack if they were set off too quickly after the BALTOPS22 military exercises concluded. So the explosives just sat on the pipelines until they were finally remotely detonated in late September… On September 26, 2022, a Norwegian Navy P8 surveillance plane made a seemingly routine flight and dropped a sonar buoy. The signal spread underwater, initially to Nord Stream 2 and then on to Nord Stream 1. A few hours later, the high-powered C4 explosives were triggered and three of the four pipelines were put out of commission. Within a few minutes, pools of methane gas that remained in the shuttered pipelines could be seen spreading on the water’s surface and the world learned that something irreversible had taken place. When asked about Hersh’s bombshell story, the White House responded by calling it “completely and utterly false”… A spokesman for the White House said the report is ‘false and complete fiction’. A spokesman for the CIA said: ‘This claim is completely and utterly false.’ But what else can they do? If the Biden administration admits the truth, it is likely that Biden will be impeached. Needless to say, the Russians were exceedingly interested in this report, and they are demanding answers… Russia’s Foreign Ministry says the Hersh report reveals new facts that must be answered to, however, with spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressing, “We have repeatedly stated Russia’s position on the involvement of the United States and NATO, noting that they did not hide it, bragging to the whole world about their intention to destroy the civilian infrastructure through which Europe received Russian energy resources.” If the Russians had attacked us in such a way, the American people would be crying out for revenge. And rightfully so. The recklessness of our leaders has pushed us to the brink of nuclear war, and as I discussed in a previous article, the United States is definitely not prepared for such a conflict. Sadly, most Americans don’t even realize what is going on. Elon Musk was quite correct when he observed that “most are oblivious to the danger”… Tesla founder Elon Musk warned that “most are oblivious to the danger” of World War 3 as the conflict in Ukraine continues to escalate. The comment was in response to a speech by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to the General Assembly on Monday during which he expressed his fear that humanity was marching toward a “wider war” with its “eyes wide open”. But over in Russia the story is completely different. The Russians believe that they are now engaged in an existential conflict with the United States, and there is constant talk about the possibility of nuclear war on Russian television. When it finally happens, nobody will be able to say that they weren’t warned. Over the past two years, I have been relentlessly warning my readers that Joe Biden and his all-star team of warmongers were going to push things way too far. Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful. My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words. Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.” Notice how our psalmist opens this portion of his writing: he declares the righteousness of the Lord, followed by acknowledging the purity of His Word, identifying God’s Word as truth and His testimonies as everlasting. We’re reminded of many out there, even among “ministers,” who believe that the Bible “contains” the words of God but is not entirely divinely inspired. Well, there’s a problem there. Who gets to decide which portions are inspired and which parts are human insertions? Surely many, even among themselves, would have strong disagreements, no matter how many degrees they have or how spiritually they may speak. Should we each try to decide for ourselves as we read the Bible? Spurgeon wrote: “As God is love, so His law is truth, the very essence of truth . . . applied to ethics . . . in action . . . upon the judgment seat. We hear great disputes about, ‘What is truth?’ The Holy Scriptures are the only answer. . Note, that they are not only true but the truth itself. We may not say of them that they contain the truth, but that they are the truth: ‘thy law is the truth. . . .’ Those who act contrary thereto are walking in a vain show.” Our psalmist also reminds us that God’s enemies (our enemies are God’s enemies) forget His Word. To forget means to mislay, to misapply, to be oblivious to, or to ignore. Is our country paying the penalty today for having forgotten or ignored God’s Word? How important is His Word? The psalmist wrote, “Your word is lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (v. 105). You’ll recall that “lamps” and “light” are used metaphorically for truth, and “darkness” represents wrong or evil. So if God’s Word is ignored or misapplied, then one can’t walk in truth or on the lighted path but can only walk in darkness, i.e., evil. We also read today that God’s testimonies (commandments) are ignored by His enemies. There’s a heavy price to pay for despising His Word: “He who is often rebuked and hardens his neck, will suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan” (Prv 29:1-2).We need “a day that changed the world,” but we must face the reality that the cause of our affliction is that we as a people don’t revere the Word of God. When His Word is revered, people and nations are awakened and revived. No one will experience revival if they despise the truth that the Bible is God’s inspired Word and is truth. Paul wrote: “You he made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to . . . this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)” (Eph 2:1-5). That is a great awakening: dead sinners being made alive in Christ through the mercy and great love of God, even when we were still dead in our trespasses! Their minds are ready to learn how to cope with life. First, they learn that Mom and Dad take care of their needs. That teaches them about love. Then before you know it, that child is walking and talking. That’s just the beginning. Pretty soon, they dazzle anyone who will listen with their ability to count to ten, then one hundred! Children are marvelous. God is even more amazing and marvelous. He counts things that humans deem as innumerable. If you are ever able to get away from the city lights on a clear, moonless night, you will be awestruck at the stars you can see. It’s been said that you may see more than 10,000 stars under the right conditions. That’s just a small percentage of what astronomers say there are in the universe. In our own small galaxy, it’s estimated that there are 100-billion stars. Add to that the stars in other galaxies, and I don’t think I can count that high. God can. “The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. He health the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.” Psalm 147:2-5. God is great and all knowing. The same God who knows every star, even the ones astronomers haven’t discovered yet, knows you. He knows everything about you. You are that important to Him. All of His creation is important to Him. He knows what’s happening in Africa, in South America, in the United States, in England, in Canada, and every nation you can name. He counts the stars, but he also cares about the birds and about you. “Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31. God loves you and knows all about your sins and whether you’ve accepted or rejected salvation through Christ. He knows every sin you have ever committed and He knows the ones you are going to commit. He knows the joy in your future and He knows the grief you may be going through now. Don’t give up on life, but put your faith in Him. Job faced some terrible times. He lost his fortune and his children then his health was attacked. These troubles were all the work of Satan. To add insult to injury, he had some friends come for a visit, and they were less than kind. When Job defended himself to his visitors, his faith was clear. He understood that God knew all about him. “Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps? If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit; let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity.” Job 31:4-6. God does count your steps. He knows where you’re headed, and whether your steps will lead you to destruction, by your own choice, or if your steps will lead you closer to Him. Be sure you’re following the path of righteousness that leads you to a closer walk with the Lord. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.” Psalm 37:23-24. Let God guide your steps. Scripture is full of accounts of people who accomplished great things when they allowed God to guide them. Abram was one such person. He lived in a very pagan culture and his family was into idolatry. God told him to leave it behind, and He made a promise. “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 12:1-3. This is a lesson for all of us. We cannot serve God and pagan ways. We have to choose which path to follow. Abraham did indeed follow God’s path. He made some mistakes along the way, but God’s mercy was upon him. He had two sons. The oldest, son, Ishmael, was conceived out of a lack of faith that God would provide a son, but the youngest son, Isaac, was the son that God promised. Through Isaac’s bloodline, the entire world is blessed. The Jewish nation is from the line of Isaac, and the Messiah, Jesus Christ, was born from that line. If you haven’t accepted Christ for salvation, then you’ve chosen to reject God, and forfeit many blessings. God knows His chosen people and the book of Numbers is an inventory of the Tribes of Israel. Today, the Jewish people are scattered among the nations, but they are returning to their God-given land. There’s much fighting for the land of Israel, but God gave it to Abraham thousands of years ago. His promise of blessing those who bless Israel has never been rescinded. The first chapter of the Gospel of John, gives us much information about Jesus. Jesus was God incarnate, and the Creator of everything. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1-3. In these verses, John refers to Jesus as “the Word”. Since Jesus created all things, that means He also created the angels. If someone tries to tell you that Jesus and Lucifer (Satan) are brothers, explain to them that they are wrong. Although humans cannot count the number of angels that were created, God knows. “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.” Hebrews 12:22. Humans cannot number the angels, but God knows how many there are. That’s comforting. Of all the things that are uncountable by people, but well known to God is the redeemed may be the most remarkable. These are the souls who have accepted the free gift of salvation only found in Jesus. If you haven’t accepted that gift yet, don’t wait. There is a day coming very quickly, when all true believers in Christ will be taken to Heaven in the Rapture. When will that happen? Only God knows, but Scripture tells us “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.” Romans 11:25. The nation of Israel was blind to who Jesus was. He was, and is, their Messiah. The blindness will be lifted when every Gentile who will choose salvation has done so. God knows who will make that choice. That’s why it’s so important to share the Gospel with all of your family and friends. God is counting. Once all the Gentiles have come to faith in Jesus, the Rapture will take us all to Heaven. Those who have stubbornly refused Christ’s free gift will be left on earth. You don’t want anyone you love to be left here. Share the Gospel now. Will there be a second chance for people who are left here after the Rapture? Well, you don’t want to take that chance. It will be very, very difficult to come to salvation at that time. God will ordain 144,000 Jewish men, 12,000 from each tribe of Israel. These men will ignite a revival; people from everywhere in the world will respond to their message. When the Apostle John saw those who had come to salvation, he was unable to count the number. “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.” Revelation 7:9. That’s a great wonder. During the reign of the evil Anti-Christ, anyone who rejects him and embraces the true Christ, faces the very real threat of being beheaded. They will have a different position in Heaven than those of us who will be taken in the Rapture. John had seen pre-Tribulation Raptured Christians before God’s throne. The multitude of Raptured Christians are represented by twenty-four elders. “And round about the throne were four and twenty seats; and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.” Revelation 4:4. God knows if you’ve truly accepted Christ for salvation. If there’s any doubt in your mind, you need to settle that question right away. Have you accepted Christ in your mind, but haven’t let Him into your heart? Are you still rebelling against Him by holding onto your favorite sin? Are you living with your girlfriend or boyfriend without the covenant of marriage? Maybe you’re a man but think you’re a woman, or a woman who thinks you’re a man. These sins are commonly accepted by the pagan society around us, but not pleasing to God. Remember that as a Christian you are told to present yourself as a living sacrifice to God. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1. God loves you and knows the number of hairs on your head. He loves you so much that He sent His Son to become the sacrifice that takes away your sin. Jesus went to the cross and suffered an agonizing death to purchase your salvation. Shouldn’t you be thankful? Shouldn’t you live to honor Him. God has you counted, but you need to be sure that you’re counted among the redeemed and not among those who have rejected the free gift of salvation only found through Christ. You have a choice. God is still taking inventory, but one day soon the time for counting will be over. Don’t wait. Accept Christ today, and be counted righteous through Him. Every pulpit in this country should be proclaiming that Jesus is coming soon to remove His bride and then bring judgment upon a sin-depraved world. Instead, only a few eagerly await His return. Only a few have their nose pressed against the window, eagerly looking for the bridegroom. Most go about their own affairs with no thought and no concern for what will soon take place. The Bible provides many prophecies of Jesus’ return to earth. It clearly tells us that before He arrives on Mount Olivet, there will be seven years of judgment upon the earth. These seven years are the remaining years God promised Israel, “to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy” (Daniel 9:24). This seven-year period, we call the Tribulation, will also bring God’s judgment upon a corrupt world that offers nothing for God except to blaspheme His holy name. Who would have ever dreamed just five or ten years ago that the depravity of mankind would be so open and accepted by so many as it is today? Utter depravity beyond belief is openly accepted by a large populace, by our government officials, by moms and dads, and even by many churches. Joyous hymns of praise to the Lord Jesus Christ have been replaced with the music of demons while Satan’s worshippers run through the crowd like decapitated chickens. Pulpits have been taken over by those of such perverseness, even the demons must blush. Behind all this can be heard Lucifer’s cackling laughter as children are openly attacked by a perverseness their innocent minds should never have to take in. Jesus said, “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea” (Matthew 18:6). If these followers of Satan don’t repent and fall at Jesus’ feet seeking forgiveness, I shudder to imagine their fate. I am so thankful that Jesus will remove His bride before the Tribulation, which is His coming wrath. This removal of the Church (bride) by Jesus (the bridegroom) is commonly called the Rapture, and it could be so much closer than any of us think. Revelation 3:10 says, “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” God, through His Word, does not provide any signs for the Rapture. Jesus actually said, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” (Mark 13:32). To the contrary, there are many signs for the Tribulation which follows, and all are in view for its arrival. Let me explain what I mean by “in view.” The Tribulation is like a storm coming. It hasn’t arrived yet, but we can tell it is close because the temperature has changed, the wind is picking up, dark clouds are rolling in, and thunder can be heard in the distance. All the signs of the storm are present (in view) for its arrival, even though the storm hasn’t arrived yet. When it gets here, the rain (judgment) will follow. How can any believer of Jesus be nonchalant about the days in which you and I live? All this chaos we see every day we open our eyes is telling us that this world is quickly running out of time. Can anyone deny the following Scripture being applicable today … right now? “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:20-21). God created a man and a woman to be husband and wife, but today, homosexual marriages are accepted in the courts and in many churches. Isaiah 5:20-21 is being fulfilled right before our very eyes. One person is born a male, but says he is a female. Another is born a female but says she is a male. One female even says she is a cat. Some even identify as neither male nor female (non-binary). And this is only the beginning of this madness! Again, Isaiah 5:20-21 is all around us. Opposite sex is now different sex. Mother is now gestational parent. This is just a sample of our lunacy. There are hundreds of other terms and phrases that have been changed, eliminated, or added. Isaiah 5:20-21 again. Are you looking for Jesus’ return, or yawning in disbelief? The apostle Peter had this to say about our Lord’s return: “Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, ‘What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.’ They deliberately forget that God made the heavens by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment when ungodly people will be destroyed. But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment” (2 Peter 3:3-10, NLT). The bride of Christ (true Church) will be removed first (Rapture, 1 Thessalonians 5:9; 4:13-18), then the Tribulation will begin when the Antichrist confirms a covenant with Israel (Daniel 9:27). At the end of the seven-year Tribulation, the Church will return with Christ at His second coming (2 Peter 3:10). If you know Jesus as your Savior and Lord, keep looking up because He is coming for His bride, the Church. It may not be today, but then again, it may be. If you have never put your faith in Jesus and been born again (John 3:3), do so today, and you will not be left behind to face the wrath of God. An entire city of about one million people turned to God. They even turned from their sin of violence, which they were known for. God spared Nineveh and sent a nationwide revival. Amazingly, they turned to God after they heard this simple message from Jonah: “Forty days from now Nineveh will be destroyed!” (Jonah 3:4 NLT). The very fact that Jonah gave them a warning was somewhat hopeful. For instance, when God judged Sodom and Gomorrah, He didn’t send a warning. There was no prophet walking through their streets. Judgment came suddenly. But in Nineveh’s case, Jonah warned them. And the Bible tells us that “the people of Nineveh believed God’s message, and from the greatest to the least, they declared a fast and put on burlap to show their sorrow” (verse 5 NLT). This reminds us that no one is beyond the reach of God. These people were exceptionally wicked, yet God saved them. Do you know someone who is a sinner with a capital S? You can’t imagine, in your wildest dreams, that they ever would come to faith in Christ. God can save that person. Remember, Saul of Tarsus was converted. He hunted down, tortured, and killed Christians. Yet God took hold of him. So, start praying for that unbeliever by name. I think sometimes we prepare for failure, not success. A young preacher once complained to Charles Spurgeon that whenever he preached, no one came to Christ. “Do you expect people to come to Christ every time you preach?” Spurgeon asked. “Well, of course not.” “That is your problem,” Spurgeon told him. Missionary William Carey said, “Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God.” That’s what we need to do. Could God send another spiritual awakening to America? I believe that He could. I believe that He can. And I pray that He will.
