The Mystery of the Kingdoms – Pete Garcia - https://www.rev310.net/post/the-mystery-of-the-kingdoms
Over the years, I have noticed that I can become rather obsessive when it comes to the study of the tiny, nuanced details and subtle shifts in variations as told by the writers of Scripture. Are they just creative licenses given to the particular writers to reach a particular intended audience? Or are they purposeful, divinely-inspired distinguishers meant to prophetically highlight some difference? Or both? For example, the subtle differences as found in the Gospels when it comes to the ‘mystery kingdom’ parables as told in Matthew 13, Mark 4, and Luke 8.
Or when speaking to the Lord’s Supper-
I find these things fascinating which is why an astute reader’s recent question intrigued me. For brevity’s sake, I will summarize her question as follows: Why does God seek the glory in Ezekiel 38:16 (Gog-Magog defeat), but not in 1 Thess. 4:16 (Rapture)? She writes: After the Ezekiel war, the world will know that God Himself interviewed on behalf of Israel who could not defend itself against the coalition of forces coming against her (Ezekiel 38:16). God alone will protect and preserve Israel. Further, God will receive the glory for this supernatural act…I just wanted to pose my questions to you because I wonder about the lack of an Ezekiel 38:16 acknowledgment of God in the Rapture event. To answer this, let’s step back for a moment and look at this from the ‘macro’ or ‘big picture’ view of God’s relationship between Himself and Israel, and Himself and the Church. In Exodus 19:5, we get this public acknowledgment from God to the Israelites as to what their status was always meant to be amongst the nations of the world. They were to be a kingdom of priests who stood apart from the kingdoms of the world as a demonstration of God’s superiority and power over any other so-called god. Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel. There were two major covenants applied to the nation of Israel. There was the unconditional Abrahamic covenant which had nothing to do with Israel’s behavior towards, God, but everything to do with God’s unfailing love and protection over the nation. The second was the conditional Mosaic covenant, which was an if/then situation. IF you obey My commands….THEN you will be blessed. IF you do not obey my commands, THEN you will be cursed. The nation of Israel was meant to be a light unto the nations. They were chosen to host the bloodline of the Messiah, who would take away the sins of the world. They were given the truth, and every advantage (should they remain faithful to God) to demonstrate the mercy and goodness of our Creator. Of course, we know how history turned out and in the end, they ended up crucifying their own Messiah (albeit, with the help of the Gentiles). Nevertheless, God foreknew this and despite Israel’s unfaithfulness, God will still use them to demonstrate to the world His perfect ability to keep His promises to their forefathers. This is why God’s promise to the patriarch Abraham precedes God’s conditional promise to Moses. It takes precedent and is also why Moses was not allowed to be buried in the Promised Land as if to say, the works of the Law had no place inside the Promised Land. (See Deut. 34:1-4). Now, when we look at the Church, we do not see her at all in the Old Testament. She was a mystery kingdom that God foreknew before the Creation of the World (Eph. 1:1-3) but chose to keep a mystery only to be revealed until the right time. The right time required the Son of God to be the forever, perfect, sacrifice that through His death, would conquer death and hell. We were to be a 'royal priesthood' (1 Peter 2:9), not after the order of Aaron, but through Christ (i.e., the Melchizedekian Line). This is why the Mystery Kingdom parables (Matt. 13, Mark 4, and Luke 8) were a mystery the disciples struggled with understanding. It wouldn’t be fully understood until it was given to the Apostle Paul many years later to explain in his epistles. This mystery status also makes sense when you consider the overlapping support for this idea when you consider the following:
As it stands (Biblically and prophetically speaking) Israel was always meant to be a symbol to the nations. The Church was always going to be a mystery until being revealed at the last moment. As I mentioned earlier, we were never meant to be a backup plan or plan B. Rather, just as God chose Israel from the foundation of the world, God chose the Church before the foundation of the world. (Matt. 25:34, Eph. 1:4). Subtle difference, but a difference nonetheless. God knew the nation He bequeathed both unconditional and conditional promises to, would ultimately kill His Son. But in so doing, so would open up salvation for all mankind. And God, still demonstrating His faithfulness, would receive the glory publicly through His supernatural deliverance of the nation of Israel throughout mankind’s history, as well as the coming 70th Week of Daniel as a demonstration of His power. The Church on the other hand, by grace through faith, would become the kingdom of heaven in their midst. We were to demonstrate God's perfected standard of righteousness. Not that we ourselves are righteous, but through Christ's shed blood are we made perfect. The Church is the pearl of great price, who is to be the recipient of all of God’s splendor and honor because we were purchased with Jesus' own blood at Calvary. Perhaps my favorite passages in all of Scripture are found in Ephesians, in which Paul writes- But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:4-10 We are not only to be the recipients of God's gift of eternal life, which cannot be earned by good works or deeds but is a gift, we are to become the spectacles of God's lavish endowments throughout all of eternity. Does that seem excessive? It does to me, but then again, I'm a simple, finite, man who cannot comprehend God's ultimate purposes and thoughts. But here it is again...that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Now, for God who spoke the universe into existence in a matter of days, for Him to show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us, seems excessive. It is why the Church rules and reigns as co-heirs with Christ in His Kingdom (Rom. 8:17), from the New Jerusalem, which orbits the earth in its satellite status like a giant sparkling diamond radiating God's brightness in the sky. This is not to say Israel has no part in this, because that would be heresy. Simply look at the gates and foundations for the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:12-14). Look at the preeminent position Israel will have in the Kingdom Age, with Christ ruling and reigning from David's throne in Jerusalem (Isaiah 2:1-4). Israel will be brought through that refining fire of the Tribulation and will become the envy of the world. This is why the world hates Israel so much now in the present age (even if they don't know why they hate her). No, the Church does not replace Israel, we are simply grafted in and make up the other branch/kingdom in God's divine master plan (Eph. 3:5-7, Rom. 11:25-27). Conclusion To summarize my thoughts on why God takes the public glory for Israel's rescue from the Gog-Magog hordes, but not the Church's at the Rapture is not merely a change in God's attitude towards us, but rather, in our positional standing in His divine agenda. The Church was a mystery in the Old Testament. The Church was even a mystery being unpacked by Christ in the Gospels (Matt. 13, 16). The Church was conceived at Pentecost (Acts 2) and would remain in "spiritual utero" (if I can put it that way) from then until the Rapture. At the Rapture, we are truly and visibly born again (Rom. 8:22-25). You see, when one is born again in our present state, that means our dead spiritual nature is revived and made into a new creation (John 3:3-5, 2 Cor. 5:17), but our new creation status is not yet fully complete, because we still exist in our fallen fleshly state. It is at the Rapture when our physical state goes from mortal and corruptible, to immortal and incorruptible, that we finally become whole, in the truest sense of the word. Just as John put it in 1 John 3:1-3, it is not until the Rapture that we (the Church) will finally be revealed for who we truly are, the Sons of God in Christ (Gal. 3:26-27). As for Israel, God will continue to use her to demonstrate His very public and visible power and glory. Not just at Gog-Magog, but throughout the entirety of the 70th Week of Daniel. From the Two Witnesses and the 144,000 to the fleeing and sheltering in the wilderness (Rev. 12) and the Second Coming (Zech. 14, Rev. 19). Israel will be used as a very public symbol to the world of His enduring power and faithfulness. In the end, we are the two branches that God will use to conclude this dispensational age of ages, and into the eternal order of the ages. However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:6-9 Amen and amen. Maranatha! Satanic Noose Tightening – Terry James - https://terryjamesprophecyline.com/blog/ America’s health can be clearly seen as in unprecedented danger, as Lucifer’s blueprint for establishing the New World Order becomes clearer. Former US Representative Michele Bachmann seems to be the only well-known person who senses the full extent of the danger. She is speaking out and there is, to this point, muted response from elected officials charged with the responsibility—that is, elected—to keep us safe. The danger involves the attempt of the Biden administration to turn over America’s sovereignty in the matter of health-mandating to the World Health Organization (WHO). Bachmann said, when speaking to Steve Bannon on The War Room: This is the biggest global power grab that we have seen in our lifetimes. She went on to say: This authority that they will be given will impact 99.4% of all the people in the world. There are 193 nations belonging to the UN. The Biden administration is bringing amendments that were proposed that all nations of the earth cede their sovereignty over their national health care decisions to the WHO. She then laid out the true evil wrapped up in this presidential administration’s desired action if the proposed matter is voted on and passed by Congress. This means that the WHO would have decision-making authority to intervene in the United States government policy and any nation of the world without our permission. For instance, the lockdown where you see 26 million people today locked down in Shanghai, China. They can’t leave their apartments or homes. The WHO would have the authority to be able to enforce that here in the United States, on whatever pretext they want. They don’t have to show data. They could do this. She made clear the dangers involved in summation. What this does, bottom line is that it creates a platform for global governance through the WHO. She emphasized the time-critical factor in dealing with the matter. This is what people need to know. It’s time-sensitive. No one knew about this. The Biden administration gave these proposed amendments to the WHO on January 18. No one knew this until April 12, less than a month ago. But in less than two weeks, the delegates will vote on this in Geneva, Switzerland. The Biden administration has already released a list of countries, forty of the most powerful countries in the world, including Canada, the EU, and the UK, and Australia. These countries are going along with the Biden administration’s insane push to give sovereignty over to the untrustworthy WHO. This indeed seems to be perhaps the strongest attempted actions yet of the globalist factions in America to bring the nation under the powers and principalities of Ephesians 6:12. While the end of the age looms larger than ever, Satan’s minions, both demonic and human, now observably, rather than merely under the dark veil of surreptition, are on the offensive. My friend Daymond Duck gave the following further assessment of the noose-tightening we’ve been seeing. The situation will continue to get worse because Biden and the Democrats won’t face the real problem (they have turned their back on God and the truth) Build Back Better is about weakening America, globalism is about establishing a godless world government and religion, abortion and the gay agenda are contrary to Scripture, a Disinformation Governance Board is about denial of free speech, etc. (“Worse Than The MAGA Crowd,” Daymond Duck, May 13, 2022, raptureready.com) The vote on turning over control of the nation’s sovereignty to the Ephesians 6:12 principalities and powers, I presume, will be taken by the time this commentary is published/posted. God’s Restrainer is still restraining. We still can see the derision of Psalm 2 afflicting the luciferian forces in America and around the globe while they try to bring in the Antichrist regime. Before the noose can tighten beyond remedy, Jesus will call the Church to Himself (Revelation 4:1). You want to be one of the believers who hears that call so you can avoid the deadly reign of the Beast of Revelation chapter 13. Here’s how you can escape that last seven years of God’s judgment and wrath. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10) It Is Worse Than We Thought - by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/it-is-worse-than-we-thought/ The U.S. economy is slowing down more quickly than almost all of the experts had anticipated. As I detailed yesterday, U.S. consumers have been getting hit extremely hard by this economic slowdown, and at this point most Americans believe that a recession is coming. But could it be possible that a recession has already begun? As you will see below, the numbers seem to indicate that such a scenario is quite likely. But whether we are already officially in a recession or not, the truth is that whatever we are experiencing now is nothing compared to the pain that is eventually coming down the road. Do you remember how painful it was for our society when the first housing bubble spectacularly imploded back in 2008? Well, it is starting to happen again. On Thursday we learned that pending home sales in the United States have now fallen for six months in a row… Pending home sales slipped in April, as contract activity decreased for the sixth consecutive month, the National Association of Realtors® reported. Only the Midwest region saw signings increase month-over-month, while the other three major regions reported declines. Each of the four regions registered a drop in year-over-year contract activity. The Pending Home Sales Index (PHSI),* www.nar.realtor/pending-home-sales, a forward-looking indicator of home sales based on contract signings, slid 3.9% to 99.3 in April. Year-over-year, transactions fell 9.1%. An index of 100 is equal to the level of contract activity in 2001. Earlier in the week, I discussed the fact that new home sales were 26.9 percent lower this April than they were last April. We are clearly past the peak of the housing bubble, and now the rollercoaster is very rapidly headed in a downward direction. Of course the economy as a whole is starting to head in a downward direction. On Thursday we also learned that U.S. GDP for the first quarter of 2022 had been revised even lower… First-quarter gross domestic product declined at a 1.5% annual pace, according to the second estimate from the Bureau of Economic Analysis. That was worse than the 1.3% Dow Jones estimate and a write-down from the initially reported 1.4%. Downward revisions for both private inventory and residential investment offset an upward change in consumer spending. A swelling trade deficit also subtracted from the GDP total. Many experts are assuring us that GDP growth will bounce back into the green for the second quarter. But it if doesn’t, that would mean that GDP has contracted for two quarters in a row, and that would officially confirm that we are in a recession right now. Of course even if GDP does bounce back this quarter, the outlook for the months ahead is not promising at all. In fact, a survey of 500 prominent CEOs just found that 75 percent of them expect a recession to begin by the end of next year… At this time last year, the Fortune 500 CEOs we surveyed were breathing a collective sigh of relief as profits and revenues came roaring back from the ravages of the pandemic. This spring, that roar sounds uncomfortably loud, as companies cope with soaring inflation and the growing likelihood that sky-high prices and labor shortages will help tip the economy into recession. In all, 75% said they expected the next recession to begin by the end of 2023, though only 32% believed it would start in this calendar year. Just about everyone can feel that economic troubles are in our future, and that will especially be true if the Federal Reserve keeps raising interest rates. Unfortunately, the Fed feels forced to raise rates because inflation has gotten wildly out of control. If you can believe it, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States has risen by 47 cents in just the past month alone… Gas prices have increased by over 47 cents in the last month alone as the U.S. continues to smash gas price records day by day under President Joe Biden’s leadership. On Wednesday, May 25, the U.S. recorded yet another all-time high, as the average price of gas stands at $4.599 for regular gas. This reflects an over 47 cent rise in the last month alone. One month ago, the gas price average stood at $4.123. That is insane! And U.S. natural gas prices have risen almost 150 percent so far in 2022… U.S. natural gas prices have skyrocketed nearly 150% this year while inventory levels have shrunk, signaling more consumer pain ahead of the summer season. The Henry Hub natural gas spot price, an indicator of nationwide prices, stormed past $9.30 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) Thursday, up from its early January price of $3.74 per MMBtu and the highest level since 2008, according to government data. Food prices continue to soar into unthinkable territory as well. This week, a single trip to the grocery store cost me 309 dollars, and I was trying to be very frugal. 309 dollars! I remember a time when you could buy a used vehicle for that kind of money. For years, I have been warning that our leaders were destroying our currency and setting the stage for nightmarish inflation, and now that time has arrived. And all of the borrowing and spending that our politicians have been doing has made our national long-term financial problems exponentially worse… Over the past two years, $4.6 trillion has been provided by Congress in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The impact on inflation, particularly the timing of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act in March 2021, is subject to some debate, but what cannot be denied is the impact this spending has had on the interest paid on the national debt. Between 2011-2018, interest on debt held by the public averaged $272 billion annually. Between 2019-2021, annual interest on the debt averaged $389 billion, an increase of $117 billion, or 43 percent. The president’s fiscal 2022 budget, which is the first to project deficits of more than $1 trillion for 10 consecutive years, estimates that FY 2022 interest on debt of $26.3 trillion will be $305 billion and reach $941 billion in FY 2031, or more than triple the amount for the current fiscal year. By that time, interest payments will account for 59 percent of the projected $1.6 trillion deficit. We could have avoided all of this if we had taken a different path. But we didn’t. Instead, we kept sending the big spenders back to Washington time after time. We thought that we could keep kicking the can down the road and get away with it, but instead we have literally destroyed America’s financial future. Compromised Church Leadership & Preaching Is Contributing to Our Cultural Rot – Michael Brown - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=5385 For many years, I have stated that a major reason America is so messed up is that much of the American Church is also messed up. And a major reason that so much of the American Church is messed up is that so many Christian leaders are also messed up. The domino effect is quite real. Church leaders greatly influence their followers, for better or for worse. And since Christian believers are called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, if we are not fulfilling our moral and spiritual duties, this will have a deleterious effect on the nation. And how, exactly, do Church leaders influence their followers? They do it by their message and by their example. If they are preaching rightly and living rightly, they will produce healthy congregants. If their preaching is unbiblical and their lifestyle is compromised, they will produce unhealthy congregants. To be sure, America is not as influenced by the pulpit as it was in 1873, when Charles Finney preached that, "If the public press lacks moral discrimination... If the church is degenerate and worldly... If the world loses its interest in religion... If Satan rules in our halls of legislation... If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it." Yet with 70 percent of Americans still professing Christianity and with evangelical Christians alone making up roughly 25 percent of the population, the Christian leaders of the nation remain influential, for better or worse. In that light, a recent Barna survey gives lots of cause for concern, especially when it comes to the message being preached by Christian leaders. As reported by Decision magazine, "A new study from the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University (ACU), guided by popular pollster George Barna, has found that just 37% of Christian pastors in the United States have a Biblical worldview." Seriously? Just thirty-seven percent? It would be bad enough if less than 4 in 10 believers held to a biblical worldview. But less than 4 in 10 pastors? How can this be? In the words of Barna, "This is another strong piece of evidence that the culture is influencing the American church more than Christian churches are influencing the culture." Or, viewed from another angle, rather than Christian leaders equipping their people to swim against the tide of the culture, they too are being carried by the current of the age. And that, in turn, means that the light is not shining and the salt is not being salty. It is a vicious cycle of moral and spiritual deterioration. In short, when the doctors are spreading disease rather than curing disease, the populace is in big trouble. Decision reports that, "The survey looked at eight different categories of belief and behavior, including family and the value of life; God, creation and history; personal faith practices; and sin, salvation and one's relationship with God." Predictably, the heart of the problem can be traced back to beliefs about the Bible: "The survey found that the category with the lowest percentage of pastors holding a Biblical worldview is the one related to beliefs and behaviors about the Bible, truth and morality." No surprise here! And what do we make of the finding that just 4 percent of executive pastors (this is not a typo) hold to a biblical worldview? Just 4 percent? And how much influence do executive pastors have in the staffing of churches and in many of the practical decisions the church makes? As for the larger population (not just professing Christians), the survey found that "just 2% of the parents of preteens" held to a biblical worldview, along with "men (2%), women (4%), whites (4%), blacks (2%), Hispanics (less than one-half of one percent), and less than one-half of 1% among those who identify as LGBTQ." But this, too, should not surprise us, seeing that, in 2009, Barna reported that, "Even among born again adults, the statistics [concerning Americans with a biblical worldview] have remained flat: 18% in 1995, 22% in 2000, 21% in 2005, and 19% today." As I wrote in 2017, "We have believed that we should blend in and not rock the boat, showing the non-believers around us that we're no different than they are. But while it's important to be contributing members of the society, and while we're called to be peacemakers not troublemakers, we are also called to swim against the tide and go against the grain. We are called to show the world a better way "Sadly, many Christian leaders have put more emphasis on discovering what's trending in society than learning what's on God's heart. In their quest to become relevant, they have become irrelevant." To be sure, there are many healthy leaders and healthy congregations in America. And there are always questions about the precise accuracy of polls and the nature of the questions that are asked. But without a doubt, when we see so much moral and spiritual confusion in the larger society, it reflects the moral and spiritual confusion found in many churches. And that, in turn, reflects the confused and compromised message emanating from "Christian" leaders around America. May God bring a true revival to His people, starting with Christian leaders across the land. May the awakening begin with us! Daily Jot: Honoring the guardians of freedom - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Some time ago, I was re-watching the movie “Midway.” Six months after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, they were trying to set a trap for the US Navy and destroy it. The American commanders actually set a trap of their own and the highly outnumbered US forces won a decisive victory. I am always humbled by the selfless and heroic efforts made by the World War II generation. They sacrificed their lives for something they believed was bigger than them. They knew the value of family; the power of God; and that life and liberty was foundational to being an American, and it was worth fighting for. They were defined by their courage and character, their dedication to what was right and good. For me, Memorial Day was always a solemn day first, and a day of great celebration second. Growing up, our 4-H horse club always participated in the Memorial Day Parade that wound through Rootstown, Ohio and ended up at the cemetery. There, we faced the graves of those who served their country, many who died that we might live free. Our horses were to stand at attention, and we were to sit on them, also at attention, our hats removed, as the speakers honored America’s finest. Afterwards, we would load up the horses and head back to the farm, where we had a cookout, usually with Warren and Sue McCarthy, Gene and Betty Flynn, Bob and Doris Harris and their families. Warren and Gene served on D-Day. They survived it. And they were decorated war heroes. Not much of what they did was ever discussed. But you somehow knew that they were special. My dad, who was a farmer during the war, was best friends with these men. He knew what went on, but would never say. They were among the finest men I knew growing up. My uncle Bob Harris served in the Philippines. There were times when he had flashbacks. My dad would get a call from my aunt and he would find Uncle Bob, talk him down and hold him until the terror passed. He, too, was a decorated hero. All these men knew the price of freedom and they understood their civic duty to their families, their God and their country. I’m sure you have stories as well about the brave men and women who served in our nation’s armed forces. President Ronald Reagan remembered veterans in his speech May 26, 1986. He said, “If we really care about peace, we must stay strong. If we really care about peace, we must, through our strength, demonstrate our unwillingness to accept an ending of the peace. We must be strong enough to create peace where it does not exist and strong enough to protect it where it does.” To me, there will never be peace on earth until the Lord returns. Jesus said, however, in Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” Many have sacrificed themselves that we may have peace and freedom. Let us honor their deeds. Daily Devotion: Refreshment for Our Souls - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.’ —Matthew 11:28 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/refreshment-for-our-souls/ - Listen I love the word “refresh” It’s such a perfect word to speak of starting again or returning to something. In fact, we even use this word when it comes to our computers; if things freeze up, we need to refresh our computer screens. And sometimes it means that we need to completely reboot. In the Christian life, sometimes we need a reboot. Sometimes we need a refresher since we find ourselves tired and exhausted. But here’s what Jesus said: “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 NLT). On the day of Pentecost, Peter said to the people gathered in Jerusalem, “’Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away’” (Acts 3:19 NLT). The Bible is very specific about how we can find spiritual refreshment for our souls — you will find it when you read and study the Bible. Psalm 19:7 says, “The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul” (NLT). I know it’s not always an emotional experience when we open up the Bible and read it. But this isn’t about emotions; it’s about replenishment, restoration, and getting perspective on life, as well as direction from the Lord. So, expect your soul to be refreshed as you open the Word of God. Have you ever had a verse that seemed to jump off the page? Maybe it was a verse you had read before, but suddenly it had new meaning and applied to your particular situation. That is what it means to find refreshment from the Word of God. Could you use some spiritual refreshment right now? The place to find it is from God Himself. FROM THE HEART Let Us Make the Short Time We have Left, Count for ALL of Eternity! You will be helping to touch lives, around the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thanks to the internet your generosity carries a global impact! - Thanks! Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 If you have been blessed by Prophecy Update and would like to help support this ministry financially.
