“History is seasonal, and winter is coming.” ― William Strauss, The Fourth Turning: An American Prophecy Regarding the geopolitical seasons that seemingly guide/influence our modern era, we are presently in what some have deemed as the Fourth Turning Point. The turning points are eighty-year generational shifts (plus or minus ten years) in a nation that are broken down into twenty-year zeitgeist-like movements (ex. spirit of the age) that govern the mindset and worldviews of said particular generation. According to the chief proponents of this theory, William Strauss and Neil Howe, these turnings are labeled as: "The High", "The Awakening", "The Unraveling" and "The Crisis." As previously mentioned, all indications and markers appear to point to our current station, in the cycle, as being in the "The Crisis" point. According to Strauss and Howe, the Fourth Turning Point consists of: an era of destruction, often involving war or revolution, in which institutional life is destroyed and rebuilt in response to a perceived threat to the nation's survival. After the crisis, civic authority revives, cultural expression redirects towards community purpose, and people begin to locate themselves as members of a larger group. Given the previous eighty-year cycles that have all turned out to be moments of great national and global turmoil, it appears this theory in generational dynamics holds some truth to it. If we were to start at the Revolutionary War (1776-82) and move forward eighty years, we get to the Civil War (1860-1865). From there, eighty years take us to World War II (1939-45). From WWII to where we are today (2022), we are currently in the midst of multiple tumultuous convergences. Compounding this is the fact that we have arrived at a time when truth is being aggressively censored and being replaced with a propaganda bonanza, where fact is now fiction and fiction now fact, and essentially all of the worst parts of George Orwell's 1984 book appear to be coming true. This is while we are being overlayed by three other earth-shattering realities. The first is the rapid push to bring about the Fourth Industrial Revolution (merging cyber into physical). IOW, if it can be automated, it will be automated (to include humans). This 4IR has numerous troubling applications to it that do not bode well for humanity.
The second is this mad race toward's globalism. Although this race has been ongoing since 1919 (the League of Nations), we have now arrived at a time when technology has matched their evil intentions. Some have called it the New World Order. Others have called it Agenda 21, Agenda 2030, or the Great Reset. Regardless of what you call it, in reality, it is the creation of a global technocracy/oligarchy where a few elites ruthlessly rule over the mass of humanity. The last converging reality we are in now is the collapse of Western Civilization. The hallmarks of Western Civilization are a Judeo-Christian worldview, free market capitalism, and Greco-Roman style of law and order. As bad as the last two points were, they wouldn't have made any headway in the first place had our civilization not already been so eroded and corrupted by the moral and ethical freefall that has plagued our nation since the 1960s. Point of fact, barring a national revival on par with the First Great Awakening, our nation had no other direction to go other than straight down. IOW, our nation is destined for collapse regardless of the other two things...there is simply no other way around it. At $30T in national debt, an unrecoverable birth rate, infanticide topping 65,000,000 deaths, a growing majority of the "church" either intentionally ignorant or blissfully asleep, and nineteen existential threats hanging over our collective heads like a boulder on the edge, we are indeed living in perilous times. The worst part of all this, is that these globalists are intentionally suiciding Western Civilization. The thought that they are going to rebuild some kind of techno-utopia from the ashes is laughable. At present, their utopic plans are being masqueraded as benevolent rescue measures to save us and our planet. However, their major problem right now is that all of their crises are not becoming the crises they need to kickstart their globalistic hegelian dialect. When they start harping on global cooling, the earth heats up. When they start doomsaying about the heat, the earth cools down. They’ve since been forced to go with the catch-all “climate change” since the majority is not buying the fear tactics they are selling. In the process of selling said climate fears to the masses, what they are really opening up is a multitude of secondary and tertiary crises that will result in societal collapse. The 20th threat to our present world order is that of the Rapture of the Church, which, ironically, also happens to be the only threat they don't take seriously. But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words... And since the world's economy leans heavily on the US Dollar for its own financial stability, the collapse of the United States will be quickly followed by the collapse of the global economic order. Perhaps this is why we are seeing a sudden all out race by world leaders to get away from the US Dollar as quickly as possible and onto a digital currency like the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). If this assessment is correct, then there should be several days to weeks of absolute chaos that will immediately follow as nations began dealing with the fall out of the collapsing old order, and the constructing of a new reality of a world without the US leading it. Given the chaos that will ensue post-rapture will come Satan's great countermove in deceiving the nations. This is where the UFOs will fill the skies in such a display of power, as to confuse the earth-dwellers into believing that they (the ET Aliens) were the ones actually responsible for the great disappearances around the world. Also during this same time (one to five weeks later) will the remaining governments begin to wrestle back control over the earth from the lawlessness. There are roughly 330 million Americans. This would include all of those who are both citizens, and noncitizens alike. If only 10% of those over the age of 20 were raptured, that would mean 33 million Americans would no longer be contributing to the American economy in any way, shape, or form. However, if we add in all of those below the age of accountability, and those who are mentally incapable of making critical decisions, the Rapture of the Church will likely take upwards of 40% of the North American population. That would mean around 132 million Americans would suddenly disappear. Regardless of whether it's 10 percent or upwards of 40 percent, this sudden removal of that many Americans (in and of itself) will absolutely collapse the United States of America, which will, subsequently, collapse of the current world order. ...But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. Germany ignored our advice and proceeded to become all the more addicted to Russian natural gas. As of last year, Germany imported 80% of this form of fuel from Russia. In 2018 President Trump spoke in a UN speech about how dangerous it was for Germany to become dependent on Russia. The German diplomats at the UN openly laughed at Trump. Now that Russia has cut off the supply of natural gas to the German economy, no one in Berlin is laughing. The brutal invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops has forced the European Union to pull away from Moscow. The EU’s 27 member states agreed to voluntarily cut gas consumption by 15% between August and March 2023. The ultimate plan is to cut all oil and gas imports from Russia. Here are some early steps that nations are taking to break the dependence on Russian natural gas: In Germany, Cologne’s magnificent cathedral — normally lit throughout the night — now goes dark overnight. Public buildings, museums, and other landmarks — such as the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin — will no longer be illuminated overnight either. In France, Shopkeepers will now be fined for keeping doors open and air conditioning running, a common practice. In Spain, Congress agreed to temperature limitations — air conditioning no cooler than 81 degrees Fahrenheit. In Italy, air conditioning in schools and public buildings has already been limited in what the government labeled “Operation Thermostat.” Europe is facing an energy crisis, and most people still don’t grasp its full magnitude. Natural gas is very hard to move from one place to the other. You cannot store large quantities of it. Some nations’ operating plan is to buy natural gas from Norway. It will take each one of them a few years to tap into Norwegian gas fields. The question is, what are they going to do this year? It is very dangerous to become over-dependent on one form of energy. Many areas of China rely heavily on hydropower for the production of electricity. A drought has forced China to close factories because there is not enough water to run turbines. Texas learned about the need for energy diversity when cold weather in 2019 greatly hampered its supply of natural gas for electrical production. I had no idea that cold weather can freeze up gas wells. It has become very popular to ban the usage of fossil fuels by a given date. The California Air Resources Board just approved regulations that ban the sale of new gas-engine vehicles by 2035, requiring all new cars to run on electricity or hydrogen. Despite the strong demand for electric cars, sales made up only 3% of total car sales last year. The board mandated that by 2025, 40% of all cars should be carbon neutral. There is no chance we will meet this goal. They might as well vote that all cars should be able to fly by 2030. We do not have the capability of transmitting the power needed to charge that many vehicles. We do not produce enough key metals to build that many cars. Something in the order of about 90% of the lithium that’s used in batteries is processed in China right now, which is not a desirable situation. The Democratic Republic of Congo produces 70% of the world’s supply of cobalt. With an average price of an electric vehicle currently $66,000, most people cannot afford one. The Paris Agreement on climate change is a key reason why energy prices are so high. As soon as it was adopted by 196 Parties on 12 December 2015, oil companies quit investing in fossil fuels. Seven years later, we are still using these products, and they are at record highs in price. Some people are waking up and are trying to prepare for the coming energy disaster. In Poland, people have lined up for days to buy coal. A small town in Germany of 60 people has been stockpiling sawdust to power homes and businesses. There has been one factor that has forced people to face reality. In the past few months, businesses have started receiving shocking gas and electricity bills. One pub owner in Great Britain was told her annual gas bill would go from $30,000 to $60,000 over the next year. Most bills have doubled, but some have gone up as much as 500%. Millions of businesses still weak from the COVID-19 lockdown will be forced to close forever. I firmly believe that demonic insanity is the only way to explain why world energy policies have become removed from basic common sense. As the world becomes more evil, the devil has greater control over the minds of people. “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13). And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.” Rahm Emmanuel I’ve read “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” twice over the years by William L. Shirer and here’s what I see as the recipe for tyranny from that excellent book. I present below the most notable past example and what I believe are current ones. 1) Use people’s fear in a tumultuous situation against them and give them an “answer man” or entity to resolve it. For Hitler, it was the chaos of a post-World War 1 defeated Germany with its accompanying inflation, unemployment, and hopelessness. For America, it is a similar, though less pronounced, version of inflation and similar growing pessimism regarding the future. 2) Give them an object (be it an ethnic group, other country, disease, etc.) to blame for these conditions. Hitler blamed the high cost of reparations demanded by that war’s victors but, most notably, the Jews whom he said were behind this and all of Germany’s woes. For the free world today, it’s Covid, and monkey pox, plus anyone who does not subscribe to the current far-left agenda of some national governments, America included. 3) Manipulate the religious systems so people turn toward men instead of toward God. For Germany it was Nazism and “Mien Kampf.” For many countries considered to be Christian, it is the turning away of much of organized religion toward the doctrines of political correctness, sexual perversion, paganism, and away from those doctrines of God which are clearly defined in the Bible. 4) Control disposition of information and allow no dissent. Hitler was a master of the media and public events where his speeches had such a mesmerizing, one might even claim “supernatural,” effect on the masses that they willingly gave away both their consciences and their freedom. No dissent was allowed. Today we see social media and internet access increasingly restricting any communication considered to be “misinformation” such as the truth about Covid, suppression of information of adverse vaccine reactions, or opposition to current “woke” ideology . . . and I fear that this is only the beginning. 5) Increase of governmental control on every aspect of life, starting with economics and progressively add to that list. In a few short years, the Nazi government was in total control of everything in Germany. Two years of Covid mandates were the greatest ally of governmental overreach I have ever seen in the free world. It is, in my opinion, a great psychological experiment that succeeded in stealing away freedom on a massive scale that has never been accomplished before. 6) Keep the people so distracted that they can’t see how they are being duped. In both Germany of the first half of the 20th Century and what were the democracies of the 21st, just getting through each day for the average person has consumed their attentions to such a degree that they don’t have the time to sit back and see just how they are being led into tyranny. 7) Get to the kids via control of the educational systems and use the legal system to supersede the authority of their parents. Hitler used the schools to indoctrinate German children into the Nazi “gospel” and created the Hitler Youth, the goal of which was to instill in them a loyalty to the part which surpassed that of loyalty to their parents. In America, critical race theory and other leftist ideology is attempting to do the same thing. Parents who are fighting these things are now considered potential terrorists. Conclusion As I look through history, I see a common pattern and exactly the same evil being repeated over an over again. Only the faces and specifics have changed andI have no doubt that it all is just a mild prelude and softening up process for what’s up ahead for those left behind after the Rapture. Ask yourself: If things have been and are now coming back upon us in such an extreme degree now, while God’s Holy Spirit is still acting as a restraining presence in believers, how bad will it get when this Spirit departs post-Rapture? It’s all up to you to decide if you want to go through that or not. There is a way out and this is it: John {3:16} For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. {3:17} For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. It’s just that simple. Now, what are you waiting for? Experts Say Proposed New Iran Deal Much Worse Than 2015 Agreement – Yoni Michanie - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=5570 Although the Biden administration committed to re-entering a nuclear deal that would be longer and stronger than the original Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) put into place in 2015, senior advisor at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) Richard Goldberg said "the deal under consideration is shorter and weaker." After months of indirect negotiations between American, European and Iranian diplomats, the proposed framework differs from that of the JCPOA on four key principles: breakout time, nuclear restrictions, a cap on uranium enrichment capabilities and international sanctions. Reduced Breakout Time The 2015 JCPOA claimed to put Tehran's breakout time--the time required to enrich fissile material to the level required to construct a bomb--a year away for at least a decade. In championing the benefits of the JCPOA, then-President Barack Obama claimed that a key gain was "13,14,15 years assurances that the breakout is at least a year." Under the new deal, however, the JCPOA's terms permitting Iran to retain its advanced centrifuges would carry over, meaning that Tehran's breakout time would be significantly reduced because the sunset clauses have not changed since the 2015 deal. In an Aug. 26 conversation with president and CEO of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America Michael Makovsky, former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer explained that "the deal is so bad because it has these sunset clauses, clauses by which the restrictions expire, and Iran then has no restrictions on its nuclear program." Because the new deal fails to extend these clauses, the timeline has not moved, said Dermer. He noted that "restrictions on Iran's ballistic-missile program are set to conclude next year." JINSA says the new breakout time would be 4.8 to 6.5 months until early 2026. According to JINSA's vice president for policy Blaise Misztal and director of foreign policy Jonathan Ruhe, "a new deal will be twice as bad as the original JCPOA, delaying Iran's nuclear program by only half as much and for only half as long." The concern, according to Misztal and Ruhe, is that low breakout times could "challenge the ability of the U.S. and its partners to detect and effectively respond to any Iranian attempt to sprint for a bomb." Shorter Nuclear Restrictions The 2015 JCPOA established clear nuclear restrictions, including a ballistic-missile embargo by the U.N. Security Council (UNSC); restrictions on Iranian attempts to build advanced centrifuges and use them to enrich fissile material; UNSC sanctions on Iran and restrictions on the size and enrichment levels of Iran's nuclear stockpiles. Under the proposed framework in Vienna, these restrictions and sanctions would not be "reset," meaning the sunset clauses are set to expire next year. In highlighting the threat posed by the current frameworks' failure to extend the aforementioned sunset clauses, Goldberg argued, "Iran's concealment of undeclared nuclear sites will be ignored, advanced centrifuges will be kept in storage, and Tehran will maintain the capability to race to nuclear weapons at any time of its choosing." Shorter Cap on Enrichment Capacity The JCPOA capped the number and type of centrifuges that Iran would be able to use to enrich uranium for at least 11 years. Because the proposed new deal would fail to reset the sunset clauses of the 2015 JCPOA, restrictions on the number and types of centrifuges that Tehran can use to enrich uranium would begin to lapse in two years, according to JINSA. Misztal and Ruhe state that the new deal contains "significant concessions that will enable Iran to quickly rebuild and expand its enrichment program in the coming years." Among these concessions are allowing Iran to store 5060 IR-1 centrifuges, rather than destroying or shipping them out, and permitting Iran to start building more advanced centrifuges by 2024. However, due to repeated obstruction of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), not much is known about Iran's timeframe for installing these advanced centrifuges. This lack of transparency was highlighted by IAEA director-general Rafael Grossi in direct reference to policymakers in Tehran, who said "give us the necessary answers, people and places so we can clarify the many things needed for clarification." Weaker Sanctions Although the JCPOA sought to lift economic sanctions on key industries in Iran, the proposed framework in Vienna goes much farther, lifting terrorism and human-rights sanctions that were put in place after the signing of the 2015 nuclear deal. Like the 2015 deal, the proposed agreement would lift sanctions on the Iranian energy industry, banking, finance, insurance, transportation, shipping, mining, metals and ports, including targeted sanctions against top Iranian officials. Unlike the 2015 deal, the new agreement would lift sanctions on Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's personal funds, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and other political institutions contributing to egregious human-rights violations and terrorism, though the IRGC is likely to remain listed as a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the U.S. State Department. In discussing the implications of a possible revival of the JCPOA under the proposed framework, Goldberg said "Iran will be getting more sanctions relief than it did under the last deal--$275 billion in year one and $1 trillion by 2030." The parties seem to be close to a breakthrough. While some issues remain, mainly Tehran's insistence that the IAEA shut down a probe investigating uranium traces found at undeclared nuclear research sites, the White House has voiced careful optimism. National Security Council Spokesman John Kirby stated, "We do believe we're closer now than we had been in certain recent weeks and months." A similar attitude was taken by Russia's ambassador to the Vienna talks, Mikhail Ulyanov, who said: "We stand five minutes or five seconds from the finish line." Daily Jot: Stupidocrisy: Mandating electric vehicles - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Over the past 60 years that I know of, California has been first. First to institute any hair-brained progressive idea. First to see it fail. First to suffer the consequences of such stupidocrisy. Now along comes the whole green energy thing. And California, leading the West Coast of Washington and Oregon (which are almost as embracing of progressive idiocrasy), really got behind the idea that everything had to become wind, solar or battery-powered. Of course, it wasn’t thought through. No infrastructure needed. Just legislate that no vehicles can be gasoline or diesel powered and it will happen. And just like in communist countries that often do the same, that old friend named Failure is just around the corner. On August 25, the unelected, politically-appointed California Air Resources Board (CARB) voted to essentially ban most gas-powered vehicles by 2035. CARB Chair Liane Randolph proudly took credit in a news release saying, “Once again California is leading the nation and the world with a regulation that sets ambitious but achievable targets for ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicles) sales. Rapidly accelerating the number of ZEVs on our roads and highways will deliver substantial emission and pollution reductions to all Californians, especially for those who live near roadways and suffer from persistent air pollution.” And, of course, there are about $20,000 of state-sponsored wealth redistribution, you know, “incentives,” so “low- and moderate-income consumers” might be able to afford these expensive vehicles. Beginning on August 31, the California Independent System Operator (ISO) another unelected board that manages the state’s power grid, began issuing “Flex Alerts” to conserve electricity. Because of the hot weather, the ISO is telling California citizens to set their thermostats at 78 degrees, avoid using electric appliances, turn off unnecessary lights, use fans for cooling, and don’t be charging your electric cars. Yes, you read right. Electric cars should not be charged as part of the Flex Alert. Cal ISO president Elliot Mainzer told the news media that September 1 was the “highest demand for power” since September 2017 in California, adding that it’s “a dress rehearsal” for what’s to come. Dress rehearsal in more ways than he thinks. Here California is mandating electric cars and people that currently own them can’t even charge them because the electric grid can’t support them. And Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, who has designs to be president, is all in favor of the electric car mandate. I bet if you follow the money, some leftists are getting rich off of all this, even though it will fail miserably without a transition period to build infrastructure. God gave man stewardship over the earth. 1 Corinthians 4:2 says that “it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.” I’m reminded of Fidel Castro’s funeral procession where the military jeep carrying his remains ran out of gas and soldiers had to push the vehicle the rest of the way. But that isn’t true. We need to read the Bible every day. We should start the day with it. We should end the day with it. Psalm 1 tells us, “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night” (verses 1–2 NLT). The psalmist goes on to say, “They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do” (verse 3 NLT). If you want to be a happy person, read the Word of God. Meditate on it. In Eastern meditation, people seek to empty their minds. But in biblical meditation, we fill our minds with the Word of God. This is how we will grow spiritually. This is how we will be able to resist temptation. Psalm 119:9 says, “How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word” (NLT). We stay pure by listening to what the Word of God says. The apostle Paul wrote to young Timothy, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15 NLT). We need to read the Bible every day because success or failure in the Christian life depends on how much of the Bible we get into our lives on a regular basis and how obedient we are to it. So, read the Word. Memorize the Word. Treasure the Word. I’ve never met a strong Christian who isn’t full of Scripture.
